some more security waiter + slight ness and Susie sibling AU headcanons while I work on more fazgang AU art
Ness is the type to play music when he wakes up to help energize himself, doesn’t help that he wakes up at around 5:30 AM and Mike has to deal with the loud ass musical theater music until ness leaves for work
ness has always loved theorizing but started intensely theorizing after susie went missing. Mike just has to sit there and be like “idk ness…that seems a little far fetched” (everything ness is saying has happened and mike knows it:
Ness loves baking, he can’t cook for shit but he can cook. Mike is the opposite and can’t bake for crap. So mike is in charge of cooking meals and ness is in charge of making the birthday cakes for Abby’s bdays (and mikes cause ness is just like that)
Mike loves ness to death but he cannot stand musicals, he finds them quite annoying but Abby and ness love them so he puts his hatred for them aside.
Ness and Susie’s parents use to take them to the same camp grounds as mikes family. They were there the day Garret went missing and ness often says how he had to leave because “some kid got taken”. Ness insists that him and Mike met a few times at the camp grounds but Mike can’t remember it so he constantly denies it.
Mikes is the big spoon, when he holds on to something it helps ground him while he sleeps so he doesn’t have a nightmare. Ness doesn’t mind at all but considering he’s taller being the little spoon is definitely an awkward position sometimes. (Tall guy issues)
The first Christmas the trio spent together after ness moved in, Abby ran in at around 4 am and jumped on top of them while they were asleep and in bed to tell them that “Santa came” (Mike wasn’t happy.)
Ness loves to dance, Mike has two left feet, they make it work.
When hanging out with the fazgang, ness and Mike will text each other (even if they are in the same room)
One time ness was talking about susie and Abby said “oh I know Susie! She’s my friend!” (Mike cut her off before she could finish tho and internally panicked)
Ness is a muppets enthusiast, has all the movies and song tracks, and even owns some memorabilia.
Ness has a replica of the Kermit puppet that he sometimes uses and he once accidentally left it sitting upright on the kitchen counter and when Mike went to get a glass of water in the middle of the night he turned on the light and screamed not knowing what it was (ness won’t let him live it down).
Mike is half Mexican and knows Spanish and ness asks him to “speak Spanish to him” sometimes because he thinks it’s romantic. He’d do this for a month or two before he recognized Mike say the word “chicken” and when he asked Mike what he’s been saying to him for the last month Mike goes “oh whenever you tell me to speak Spanish to you I just repeat a recipe I know”
Ness uses a concerning amount of hair spray (almost to a toxic level) so Mike makes him open a window whenever he’s getting his hair ready.
Ness and Mike once went on a date and left Cory with Abby and Cory ended up falling asleep on the couch so Abby, not wanting to wake him but still wanting to talk to someone, took their phone line and called 911 (it’s the only number she knows) and Mike and ness had to cut their night short to come home to reprimand Abby on who she calls.

MAIN MASTERLIST
-
It's been four and a half years since Bucky broke up with you and honestly, you're fine now. Fine, as in you've moved on from him and that you haven't been stalking his Instagram account anymore or have been asking Steve how he's doing since the break up. You're fine now, really.
There was not an ounce of denial left in your body after almost two years of pining and self-blame. But that doesn't mean you've forgotten the pain he caused you when he woke up one day and realized that he didn't need you anymore.
Forgive and forget they often told you and you badly wanted to do so. But it wasn't that easy to do, not when you still feel the pain as if it only happened yesterday.
"What did you say?" your forehead creased as you walked around the kitchen counter, quickly approaching Bucky who had his back to you as he stood in the living room of your shared apartment.
You weren't sure if you heard him right, or if he actually said anything. Perhaps you were just hearing things? Just this morning he woke up and greeted you with his charming smile before pressing a soft peck on your lips. You had cooked breakfast together, laughed together and even talked about what to have for dinner.
Sure, something about his demeanor earlier was a bit off, but you assumed it had something to do about his work and not because he wanted to break up with you.
Right?
"Bucky, what did you say?" you pressed when Bucky remained quiet; he didn't even turn around to face you.
He heaved out a deep sigh, "I said I need space." he murmured.
"What do you mean, Buck?" you asked again, voice small and shaky as you fidgeted with the hem of your shirt.
Of course you knew what exactly Bucky meant by that, but you didn't want to believe it. You were hopeful that maybe this was one of those petty fights you used to have, one where Bucky would spend the night over at Steve's. He'll come around the next day, he always does that. You always woke up to him whispering apologies to your ear and you would say your sorry too.
Bucky rubbed his face with his hand before finally turning to you, "I can't do this anymore." he said, shaking his head before averting his gaze to the floor.
He must have seen the look in your eyes when he faced you. As much as you believed that you were pretty good at hiding your emotions, it never worked on Bucky. He was the only person who could always read you; you could never hide from him.
"Bucky, I don't understand." you let out a nervous chuckle as you hugged yourself, biting your lower lip to prevent them from quivering as you held back the urge to cry.
Bucky rubbed the back of his neck, "I just...you've been too...fuck, I don't know how to say this without hurting you. I really don't want to." he admitted dejectedly, looking up at you.
You scoffed, "Just fucking say it, Bucky. I'm already hurt just by having this conversation." you told him.
"You're too good for me. Way too good."
Bucky’s words echoed in your mind again as you laid your eyes on him, four and a half years after your break-up. And just like that, you were back to square one.
You did your best to avoid him after he left, you felt like Bucky too tried to do the same. It was harder than you thought, given that you belonged to the same circle of friends. There were missed birthday parties, anniversaries and get togethers. If you knew Bucky was going to be there, you’d bail. Thank god you had a bunch of understanding friends who never took your absences against you.
But an engagement party between two of your friends? Now that was something you wouldn’t want to miss out on.
You’ve been really happy for quite a while now, to the point that it never crossed your mind that Bucky would surely be attending as well. He had been out of your system since the day you decided to move past him, which is why you thought that you were finally a-okay.
Tonight proved you wrong because as you watched Bucky smile and greet your friends, you realized that you still wanted to punch him and hurt him and tell him that you were still in lo—
“Hi.”
You were too focused on daydreaming about how you wanted to hurt Bucky that you failed to notice that he made his way to you and was now waiting for you to greet him back.
Bucky was smiling at you the same way he did on the night you first met at a college house party. You and Bucky have been together for that long.
“Hi.”
The music was too loud that you missed out on the stranger’s greeting, if not for his shadow looming over your hunched figure as you sat on the staircase, you would’ve completely ignored him.
The guy was looking down at you with a charming smile that made your cheeks turn pink. He was tall and slightly muscular, something you noticed right off the bat all thanks to the tight red henley he was sporting. The guy had long hair too, but it was tied back into a low man bun that was messy enough to leave tendrils of stray hair to frame his handsome face.
“Hi.” He repeated with a chuckle, a hint of amusement laced in his tone as he bit his lip at the sight of you just staring up at him.
“Hi?” You stammered awkwardly.
He laughed, “Um, can I pass through or is there some sort of password required?”
You realized that you had been blocking his way, everyone’s way actually. Quickly, you apologized and stood up to leave your spot only for the guy to block your way before you could even hop off of the last step of the staircase.
Thinking that you must have confused him and the direction you intended to go, you murmured a soft apology again before sidestepping him but to no avail. You looked up at him with a frown when you noticed that he was intentionally blocking your way.
It didn’t help that he was way taller than you. Despite the one being on the last step of the staircase, the guy still loomed over you.
“Excuse me?” You snapped and tried to move past him but he was way bigger than you and managed to stop you from passing through.
He had a cheeky smile on as he watched your futile attempt to squeeze your way out of his large body. You huffed out when he held onto the rail while his other hand on the wall, completely trapping you on the staircase.
“What’s the password?” He asked, still grinning at you.
You deadpanned, “Are you kidding me?”
He shook his head, “Nope.”
You stared at him blankly before glancing at his hands, observing whether you had a chance at prying them away from where they held on. It was then that you noticed how his left hand was covered in tattoos. The sleeve of his henley rode up quite a bit to reveal that his tattoos reached his wrist, he probably had his entire left arm sleeved with ink.
“Can I please pass?” You huffed out when you concluded that there was no way you would be able to escape him.
“Like I said, I need a password.” He insisted.
“Penis.” You stated, face free from any sort of expression.
The guy choked on his laughter, “Why would you honestly think that?” He asked incredulously.
You shrugged, “I thought you guys liked dick jokes.” You reasoned out.
The guy laughed as he shook his head, “Well, you’re not wrong.”
“It’s not the password?” You asked. “Don’t I get a hint or something, I really don’t have time for games right now. I have to go back to my dorm. I have a test tomorrow.” You told the guy.
“I can’t believe you’re thinking about a test. What’s your major anyway?” He asked.
You groaned, “Like I said, I don’t have time for games or even for a conversation. Come on, just let me pass through!”
The guy hummed as he stared at you, as if he was thinking of something. You wanted to look away but he had beautiful ocean blue eyes that you found yourself slowly getting lost in.
“I’ll give you hints.” He announced. “Two hints actually, because I’m feeling generous.”
“Okay, then. Just spit it out!” You rushed.
The guy grinned.
“The password is made up of your name followed by your number.”
“Hi.”
You blinked when Bucky repeated his greeting. When you regained your senses, you cleared your throat and simply nodded at him as acknowledgment. You saw how Bucky’s smile faltered seconds before you looked away and pretended to look for someone.
“I can’t believe you just brushed me off.” He chuckled, running his fingers through his hair.
Bucky had cut off his hair right after graduation. He sported a clean cut since then but now he had longer locks; not as long as his college hair though. It just looked fluffier, you fought the urge to imagine how it’d feel through your fingers.
“I can’t believe you just expected me to greet you as if nothing happened.” You told him, letting your eyes wander around the place.
Bucky exhaled heavily and shook his head, “I thought we’d be okay by now.” He admitted. “Guess I was wrong.”
You clicked your tongue in irritation, snapping your head into his direction after avoiding his gaze earlier. “I am okay, but that doesn’t mean I am okay with being around you.” You hissed.
“I honestly thought we’d still be friends, you know. Civil at least.”
What has gotten into Bucky’s mind for him to expect a lovely reunion between the both of you? Things didn’t end well, he just left. He was too ambitious to even think that you’d greet him with rainbows and butterflies.
“We’re not friends, Bucky. Not even acquaintances.” You told him.
Bucky opened his mouth to say something until someone tapped on the mic, announcing that the newly engaged couple, Wanda and Vis, had something to say to their guests. By the time he looked back at you, you had already walked away and joined Nat at their table.
It reminded Bucky of the days when he used to watch your back retreat into your dorm whenever he walked you home.
“So, you gonna tell me the password or what?”
You felt all your blood rush to your head and you’ve never been thankful for existence of strobe lights. You were probably red as a tomato. Who wouldn’t be anyway? This handsome dude just asked for your name and number!
“Is this a joke?” You managed to asked and thanked the heavens that you didn’t stutter.
The guy shook his head, “I don’t really joke around.” He shrugged.
“Why do you even want to know my name and number?” you curiously asked.
Bucky shrugged, “Been watching you since you arrived.”
“Creeper.” you accused.
“Hard not to when you’re the only grumpy person in a party. I know your friends dragged you here, I mean you said you have a test tomorrow and you don’t seem the type to party a day before. Besides, you’ve been keeping to yourself the entire time. Figured you might want some company, one with substance.” he boastfully wiggled his eyebrows at you.
His confidence appalled you but you were also surprised at how he seemed to have read your mind. Or personality, in general.
“Hey, Bucky!”
You watched the guy turn his head towards front door where a blonde guy— Steve from the student council, you recognized— entered. You thought it’d give you a chance to slip away but the guy, well Bucky, kept his hands in place.
“Kinda busy right now, pal. I’ll catch up with you later.” He said.
Steve’s gaze moved past Bucky until they landed on you. He chuckled as he shook his head at his friend’s antics. Steve walked away but not without acknowledging you.
“He may not seem like it, but Bucky’s a good guy. You can take my word for it.”
Bucky turned to you and lifted an eyebrow, “I mean, coming from a student council member, that’s a pretty credible source.” He said confidently.
You bit the inside of your cheek to stop yourself from smiling. You had to admit, Bucky had a way with words and actions. His boyish charm was working on you and you hated how easily you were falling for it. And you just met the guy like ten minutes ago!
“So, what’s the password?” Bucky asked again.
You tapped your foot as you crossed your arms over your chest, “You promise to let me go if I tell you?”
Bucky made a face, “I don’t think that’s the right term because you can expect more of me once you give me the password. But I’ll definitely step aside. That’s a promise.” He reassured.
“Promises are meant to be broken.” You stated.
“Yeah, well watch me prove you wrong. Password? Pretty please?” He asked cutely and fuck, Bucky was really winning you over just like that.
Letting out a defeated sigh, you tell him your name and number. Just as he promised, Bucky stepped aside and quickly fished out his phone to type in your number. You honestly didn’t expect for him to remember it after hearing it once, but you peeked and he actually did. Impressive.
“Like I promised, off you go to study.” He said and motioned his arm towards the front door.
You sighed and offered a small smile before finally walking past him. You were about to open the front door when Bucky beat you to it.
“I told you ‘let go’ is the wrong term ‘cause I’m walking you home tonight.” Bucky said. “And tomorrow night too. And the next night and the next next night. Or afternoon. Morning? Whatever time your classes finish.”
Bucky really proved you wrong that night because he did walk you home the next night and the next next night too. It went on until he no longer had to watch you enter your dorm or apartment because eventually, the two of you ended up going to the same home.
It’s very ironic really, that it was also Bucky who failed to prove you wrong when he broke his promise not to hurt you, ever. You wondered whether it was your fault that you actually believed in him. It was hard not to though, because Bucky’s earned your trust from all the promises he made and kept.
Which is why it was even more painful when one day, he decided to break the one promise you truly held on to.
“I’ll always love you, you know that right?”
Bucky blurted it out randomly that his statement confused the hell out of you. The two of you were just playing a video game when he said it, making you hit pause.
“And where did that come from?” You asked with amusement.
Bucky frowned, “You could’ve reacted differently. I was hoping for a high-pitched ‘awwww!’ and this is what I get?” He teased, taking your chin in between his index finger and thumb to pull you close so he could bite your nose playfully.
“You said it out of the blue!” You told him with a laugh. “But it made me happy though.” You admitted and kissed his cheek.
“Yeah, well it’s true. I mean, this thing we got? It’s forever.” Bucky said and lovingly smiled at you.
You pretended to gag at his words but it was obvious that you felt like you were on cloud nine when Bucky said that. “Cheeseballs!” You teased.
“This cheeseball’s gonna put a ring on that finger one day. That’s a promise!”
A finger snapped right in front of your face, “You good?” Nat asked.
You nodded and tried your hardest not to look at Bucky. He was seated with Steve, Sam and some other guys at the table next to yours. You could feel him staring at you and it was making you anxious.  Nat and Sharon exchanged looks before letting out a sigh in unison.
“Come on, I’m fine. Stop looking at me like that!” You told them with a forced chuckle.
“What did Bucky say?” Sharon asked. She’d seen Bucky approach you upon his arrival, saw the expressions you both had as you talked and knew immediately that it didn’t go well.
Nat hummed before taking a quick sip from her glass of wine, “We’ve been watching and we’re curious.”
“He was expecting for us to be friends.” You simply stated.
Nat and Sharon groaned and rolled their eyes, “What a dick.” Nat said.
“Men really do have the audacity.” Sharon laughed and shook her head.
You joined her laughter and lifted up your own glass of wine, “I’ll drink to that.” You said before finishing your drink in one go.
One glass of wine turned into two and then three and then four. Six drinks later and you were buzzed and unstoppable. You weren’t that drunk, you were good at handling alcohol but you were tipsy for sure. The formalities of the engagement party were finally done and the guests were left to mingle around.
Wanda and Vis immediately went to your table to catch up and after giving them your heartfelt congratulations (and apologies for missing out on plenty of events), you decided to step out of the venue to get some fresh air.
The silence allowed you to process your thoughts, the same thoughts you had repressed for years. You were happy for Wanda and Vis, truly. The two have been the epitome of soulmates and it was only right for them to end up tying the knot. But you also couldn’t help but wonder, would you and Bucky end up in marriage too had he decided to stay and work things out with you?
You lift up your left hand and stared at your bare ring finger. Just a few years ago, you’d been wearing a simple gold band studded with tiny diamonds around it— a promise ring. Bucky had given it as a gift on your 6th anniversary. You’d gotten together when you were just 19 and Bucky 21. People always doubted that your relationship with him wouldn’t last long given that the two of you were so different. Not to mention, Bucky had a reputation. Girls fawned over him; he was tall and handsome, had a rugged appeal to him thanks to his long hair and tattooed left arm. He drove a damn motorcycle that got him into trouble plenty of times.
You were Miss Goody Two Shoes who played it safe and Bucky was the Big Bad Wolf who liked taking risks.
It was a surprise when your relationship with him kept on progressing and the next thing you knew, the both of you have been together for a total of eight long years. It would’ve reached nine but shit happened and Bucky decided that those eight years didn’t matter to him anymore.
“Can we talk?”
If Bucky asked you that a couple of years ago, you would’ve probably punched him in the face and kneed him at the crotch before running away. Well, you still wanted to do so but a part of you wanted to talk things out. Get a proper closure maybe since Bucky failed to give you a detailed explanation that would help you understand why he chose to leave you.
Nat told you once that some things are better left unsaid. You spent years secretly pining for Bucky after the break up, spent nights questioning yourself where you lacked that made him leave you. You’d asked Steve about Bucky whether he met someone knew or how he was dealing with the break up; it did you more damage than good until you finally gave up and decided to actually move on.
But now that Bucky was here and there was no way to avoid him, maybe you deserved this confrontation after all.
“What do you want to talk about?” You asked, keeping your eyes on the pavement right in front of you.
You felt Bucky stand beside you, placing his hands inside the pockets of his jeans before turning to you, “About us.”
You snickered, “Us? What about us? What is there to talk about us?” You asked, turning your head to face him.
Bucky’s eyes have always been your favorite feature of his. They were very expressive and if Bucky could see through you every damn time, it was his eyes that you could always read. They were still blue but they held a certain emotion in them as he gazed at you.
Sadness and...regret?
Before your assumptions could get the best of you, you turned away and waited for Bucky to speak again.
“I can’t keep on avoiding you.” He said. “I’ve been doing so for the past few years and it kills me.” He admitted.
“And you think I want to keep doing this too? I’ve missed out on so many occasions because I just couldn’t be around you. You’re not the only one struggling.” You said.
Bucky shrugged, “Then let’s stop avoiding each other.”
The way he suggested it almost offended you; he was so nonchalant about it as if it was so easy to just let him waltz back into your life. Truth was, you dreamt of the day that he’d come crawling back to you. But you knew better than to let your walls down just because you miss him.
“When Steve told me that you seemed to be doing well, I really thought it meant that we can become friendly with each other, y’now. I mean, eight years. Those years meant so much to me, we’ve been through a lot and—“
“Are you fucking kidding me right now, Barnes?!” You bitterly chuckled.
“If those eight years together really meant a lot to you, you would’ve stayed. You would’ve allowed me to work it out with you! But what, you broke up with me because you thought I was too good for you? That you felt suffocated just because I was looking out for you?”
You didn’t mean to snap at Bucky like that, in your mind you thought you would be able to have a calm conversation with him. But with the alcohol running through your body, you couldn’t stop yourself from expressing yourself and and feeling the same way you did on that specific night.
“Too good? How am I too good for you, Buck?” You asked, immediately wiping off the tears that escaped your eyes.
“You have everything planned out! For yourself, for us. And it makes me feel fucking useless! I see you work your way up at your job and I’m still figuring out what the hell I want to do with my life!” He exclaimed.
You shook your head, “I didn’t know you felt that way.” You whispered. “If you told me this then I could’ve done something about it, Buck! Rather than let it get this far, I would’ve fixed it.” You told him and tried to reach out but Bucky took a step back.
“That too! You’re a fixer! You always end up fixing things. This relationship has become an endless cycle of me fucking up things and you picking up the pieces. And every single time you clean my mess, I feel like you’re hoping I’d be like the others. It’s like you’re trying to make me into a person I’m not just so I could fit this, this certain mold you had in mind!” He accused you.
You wiped again your tears and refused to believe him, “That’s not true, Bucky! I’ve always loved you for who you are, I never asked you to change for me!”
“Yes, you do! You never said it but I always felt it...when Steve got promoted and when Sam finally launched his business. You always wanted me to be like them, you never said it out loud but that’s what you made me feel whenever we talk about my job...or lack thereof.” He chuckled bitterly.
Bucky may not be traditional in the sense that he considered himself an artist. He never liked the idea of settling for a nine to five desk job so he took on a job as a tattoo artist. It wasn’t a permanent job and he didn’t have clients demanding for him all the time so it gave him time to work for a motorcycle shop too.
It was never a problem for you but practically speaking, your and Bucky’s joint savings wouldn’t be enough for the future that the both of you have planned out.
“I’ve been supportive of you! I never asked you to give up on those jobs, Bucky.” You defended yourself.
Bucky nodded his head, “You don’t know it but you do. That’s how I felt whenever you suggested that I try something else.”
“It’s because I know you can do so much more! Stay at the tattoo parlor and mechanic shop, then fine! But don’t settle because you have the potential to make it out there, that’s what I want you to know! I don’t understand why you’re limiting yourself, Buck. Why you’re suddenly so afraid.”
You carefully took a step closer to Bucky and thank god he let you this time. You swallowed the lump in your throat and reached out to cup his face in your hand. Bucky was livid, his chest rising heavily with every breath he took.
“You were the one who taught me to be brave, to take risks. I used to be so afraid, remember? Afraid to ride your motorcycle, to try out that job I thought I couldn’t handle. I was so scared to commit,” you chuckled, remembering how much you hesitated to give Bucky a chance when he asked you to be officially his girlfriend.
“...but you’ve always been there for me. And I want to do the same with you. I know that it seems scary to let go of what you believe is your calling. You don’t have to let go of it, Buck. But you gotta try something new too.” You said as you let your thumb caress the skin beneath his eyes.
There was silence between the two of you. Bucky had calmed down and you thought that it was over. Little did you know that it was simply the calm before the storm. Because the words that came out of Bucky’s mouth were the words you didn’t expect to hear.
“Well, this is me trying something new.”
Bucky refused to meet your gaze and simply let your hand move away from his face. You shook your head no as you turned around to compose yourself.
“We were fine this morning, Buck. What happened?” You asked and embraced yourself, seeking comfort you knew you’d only get if Bucky changed his mind.
“I thought we were fine too. But the tattoo parlor is closing in a month and we haven’t been getting plenty of clients at the motorcycle shop. And it just hit me y’now, I dread coming home to you because I know you’d be disappointed and that again, you’d offer to fix my shit and the thing is, I don’t want you to. I don’t want you to fix my shit or tell me how to deal with my problems! I woke up and realized that I just don’t...” Bucky paused when you swiftly turned around with a frown, eyes brimming with a fresh new wave of tears.
“Don’t say it, Bucky. I’ll be better, I promise! I won’t nag you or pressure you into anything. Just please, don’t say it. Please don’t. We can still work this out.” You begged Bucky.
You weren’t sure you could take it, what he wanted to say. You already knew what he was going to tell you, you didn’t want to hear it. Let other people say it but god, it’d break you if you heard it from him.
“I’m sorry but I don’t need you anymore.”
The stabbing pain in your heart felt so familiar, the kind that punched all the air out of your lungs. You thought you were done crying over Bucky, but you were so wrong.
“I fucked up.” Bucky huffed out, bowing his head as if ashamed.
“You realized that just now?” You snickered. “Do you know how long it took for me to get over you? To forget the pain from hearing you tell me that you don’t need me anymore? After eight years together, Buck. You were my first everything and you gave up on us. And you really expected us to be friends, just like that?!” You spat.
“I’m sorry!” Bucky exclaimed, lifting his head to look up at you and you were surprised that his eyes were glazed with tears.
“I was wrong, I was so fucking wrong. Because you were right, I shouldn’t have settled then. But god I was an idiot, an insecure idiot.” He admitted.
“I was so used to being the one who guided you that it fucking hurt my ego when I noticed that you were becoming your own person outside of our relationship. I was supposed to be the one supporting you, pushing you to be better. You ended being the one leading me. I let my ego get the best of me and thought I’d be better off without you. But it was the biggest mistake of my life because when I left, I felt even more lost.” Bucky explained.
You were left speechless, you weren’t sure why Bucky was telling you all this. Did he want you back or was he simply apologizing? You didn’t have words so you remained quiet and waited to see whether Bucky had more to say.
“I’m so sorry, I really am. I hurt you. I should’ve stayed, should’ve worked with you to fix our relationship. I hate what we’ve become, I sincerely wanted us to be civil with each other at least.” He said.
“Bucky, you’ve been saying the same thing over and over again. I’m not sure you understand the situation. I can’t be friends with you. Not after what happened. I thought I was fine but now I realized that I’ve never really moved on from the pain you caused me.” You told him and sniffed, looking back to check whether your friends could see you.
Thankfully, all the guests were still busy mingling with each other. It’s as if the universe meant for this confrontation to happen. But now you weren’t sure what to do after you finally got a clear explanation from Bucky.
“I wanted a fresh start with you.” Bucky said. “Thought that it would make it easier for me to win you over if we were friends again.”
You scoffed in disbelief, “It’s not that easy, Buck. I can’t just let you walk back into my life after your apology. It doesn’t work that way.”
You tried to move past him but he immediately blocked your way, “When I said I’ll always love you, I meant it. I still do. I want to make things right, please. Give me one last chance to fix this.”
Maybe it was the alcohol in your system, maybe it was Bucky’s words and how sincere he sounded that made your head spin. Your heart was racing and your palms turned cold. You wanted him back too, so bad but you weren’t sure if it was a good idea. He broke your heart and your trust, you weren’t sure if you’d survive if he left you again.
“I can’t continue this conversation, Bucky. I have to go.” You told him and made your way towards the door to the venue.
However, Bucky was quick to stand in front of the door. He had a determined look on his face, one that looked extremely familiar. You were still hurt but couldn’t deny the fact that you too, still love him.
Even after everything that had happened, Bucky still owned your heart.
“Bucky, can you please move? I want to go home.” You said and tried to reach for the door knob but Bucky moved and leaned against the door.
“You need a password to get through.”
You rolled your eyes, “We’re way too old for this, Bucky. I’m not playing with you.”
He shook his head, “I’m not playing either. Give me the password or else we’d be here the entire night.”
You huffed out, “This isn’t funny. Let me through.”
Bucky shrugged, “No can do. Like I said, I can do this all night.”
You deadpanned, “What’s the hint?” You asked with a defeated sigh, knowing well enough that there was no way you could walk past him without playing along with his stupid little game.
“Consists of three words.” Bucky said.
“Penis boobs vagina.”
Bucky cackled, “And I thought you said we’re too old for this.”
You groaned, “I’m serious, Bucky. Just let me go.”
“No. I made that mistake once and I’m not doing that again. I love you. And I promise that this time, it’ll be different. I know you still love me too, so again I am asking you to take a risk and say it.”
Bucky said it with conviction and you hated how it made your stomach flip. Up until this day, Bucky had a way to make you fold. And he could still read you.
“I’m not saying it, Bucky. How sure are you that I still feel the same anyway?” you asked.
Bucky tipped his head towards your neck, “Not sure if you just forgot but you’re wearing the promise ring as a necklace.”
Fuck. Of course, you’d forgotten about it. You may not have been wearing it on your finger, but you still continued to wear it. It meant a lot to you even after the break up, so much so that you couldn’t simply throw it away or remove it. You figured that it might be better to keep it around your neck. Out of sight, out of mind but still there. You wanted it to exist, it was a part of you.
“Say it and I promise that you won’t regret it.” Bucky insisted.
“Promises are meant to be broken. You proved that the night you broke up with me.” Your voice quivered when you said that.
“And I want to make it up for it for the rest of my life.” He reassured.
“History repeats itself. I don’t think I can deal with it again if you realized the second time around that you don’t need me. Buck, you really hurt me.” You said, voice cracking before you could even finish your sentence.
Bucky quickly took your face in between his hands and for some reason, it felt right. The warmth of his palm, the love in his eyes as he gazed at you, it felt like home.
“I know and I hate myself for it. So fucking much. But I promise you, it wouldn’t happen again. I fixed my life when you left, realized that you were right. I’m better now. So let me be the fixer this time, let me be the one to fix this mess, to pick up the pieces. Because I’m just as afraid to let you go again. I can’t do that again. I love you and I need you. I always did.”
The kiss he pressed on your forehead caused your walls to crumble down. All of a sudden you were sobbing into his arms and apologizing.
“I didn’t mean to pressure you then, Buck. I didn’t know, I’m sorry too.” You cried.
“Shh, no. Please don’t apologize.” Bucky coaxed as he pulled back to kiss your tears away. “None of this was your fault, baby. It’s all on me. Let me make it up to you, please?”
The term of endearment made your heart flutter and as much as you hated how Bucky easily won you over, again, the love you have for him was quick to outweigh it. You knew you shouldn’t have given in to him just like that, but this was Bucky. He was your greatest love, someone who owned your heart even after he left.
“I miss you, baby. Couldn’t fathom the thought of you being with someone else.” Bucky admitted as he hugged you tightly.
“I was so stupid, so fucking stupid. I hated myself for hurting you. I won’t do it again, I swear.”
His hand rubbed circles against your back, helping you calm down after your breakdown. He swayed you from side to side, pressed kisses on your crown and whispered promises that he was sure he was going to keep and you basked in it. When you finally calmed down, you pressed your face into Bucky’s neck and inhaled his scent.
He smelled the same, like comfort and love and trust. You hugged him tighter and smiled into his skin and mumbled, “I love you.”
Bucky chuckled, “You got the password right but I don’t think I’m letting you go just yet.”
“Nat and Sharon’s gonna kick our asses if they find out.” You chuckled.
He pulled back and stared at you lovingly, “I’ll take the hit for you.” he laughed.
“I’m sorry.” he mumbled again, caressing your cheek with his thumb.
“Forgiven.” You told him and stood on your tiptoes until Bucky bent down to meet your lips in a kiss.
You sighed into the kiss. Four and a half years of pain and anger all gone and replaced with the love you always had for Bucky. His lips against yours made you dizzy but in a good way.
It felt right, like this was how things were really supposed to be.
You pulled back and sighed, “As much as I want to stay like this, I’m really tired.”
Bucky let you go but took your hand in his, intertwining his fingers with yours. “I’m driving you home tonight.” He said.
You smiled.
“And the next night. And the next next night.”
Yet again, Bucky proved himself to be worthy of another chance. Because he drove you home the next night, and the next next night. It went on until he regained your trust back and all was well enough for him to finally reveal the black velvet box that he had been keeping in his pocket since the night of your eventful reunion.
“You need a password to see what’s inside.” Bucky grinned up at you as he bent down on one knee.
You chuckled through your years, “Any hint?”
“One word, three letters.”
You wiped away your tears with a smile followed by a subtle nod.
“Yes.”
Bucky kept his promise all along, he really did put a ring on your finger. Took quite a while with plenty of obstacles that caused its delay, but a promise fulfilled nonetheless.

Hi! I’d love a story about Negan being a serial killer who only kills “bad people” (like in Dexter) and maybe he saves the reader from her ex who’s about to kill her and Negan can save her and takes her in because she’s a mess but she’s actually a killer herself (who kills rapists etc/ only the bad ones) and Negan and the reader start fighting and then get caught up in steamy hot sex 🥵 thank you!
Savior - Negan Killer AU
Warnings: Warnings: GORE + violence, smut, domestic abuse, swearing, dirty talk ig? idk how to tag this lol

"Will, stop you're hurting me!" I hissed, grabbing at his wrist. He tugged me out of the bustling restaurant and into the dark street.
"I don't really give a shit," He snarled, throwing me into a secluded alleyway a few buildings down from the restaurant. Will had taken me out to a business dinner with his boss in hopes of showing me off and making a good impression. But things didn't quite go according to plan. "You embarrassed me in front of everyone!" He pushed me against the brick wall of the closed department store.
"What was I supposed to do?" I sneered, trying to wiggle away from him "He kept commenting on my body, saying how he wished he could take me home at the end of the night and do all kinds of 'unspeakable things to me'."
"You were just supposed to shut up and take it!" Will said, voice filled with rage "But no, you and your untamable fucking complex just couldn't handle a compliment. You threw your drink in his face! You're lucky he didn't fire me right then and there. You made me look like some pussy who can't control his whore."
"You're an asshole." I shouted, tears welling at the edges of my eyes. Will's face contorted further into a look of pure, unadulterated hatred.
"What the fuck did you just call me?" He seethed, clasping his hand tightly around my throat and constricting his fingers around my airway.
"I said you're an asshole who cares more about his dead-end career than his fucking girlfriend." I croaked. I hated him. I hated him so much. My vision clouded with the combination of disgust, loathing, and lack of oxygen, so I hit him where I knew it hurt. "There's a reason you needed me for arm candy tonight. It's 'cause you're a boring, piece-of-shit, lowlife who has no skill whatsoever. How does it feel knowing you need me to make something of yourself?" With that, he threw me to the ground by my throat. He wasted no time and pinned me to the cold concrete. His knees dug into my shoulders and his hand flew to his back pocket, whipping out the switchblade he carried as a precaution against mugging. My eyes widened as they caught a glint of the moonlight off the sharp knife. He brought the blade up to my throat and slapped me over the cheek harshly with his free hand.
"You better take back those words, bitch," He hissed, pressing the blade into the soft skin of my jugular "or they might just be your last." A dribble of blood ran down my neck with the pressure. Realization flashed through my mind. I could die right then. That could have been my last moment. Was I scared? No. Why wasn't I scared? Maybe it had to do with the shadowy figure that was slowly approaching us from the ally entrance.
There was plenty of time for me to warn Will that someone was coming. But I didn't. Instead, I stayed quiet and watched as the shadow figure pulled Will from my body with ease and tossed him to the side. Everything was kind of a blur. I was still oxygen starved and filled with a whirl-wind of emotion. I heard Will cry out in surprise and indignance. The shadow figure said nothing. It saw the switchblade with a steady line of my blood. It kicked Will in the chest, knocking him to the ground. Then it lifted up a baseball bat over its head and cracked it down over Will's skull. He continued to beat Will until he stopped squirming. The shadow figure paused and swung the bat over his shoulder. I had regained my breath and pushed myself to my elbows. The shadow noticed me moving and took a few heavy steps in my direction. I squirmed away slightly, instincts telling me to get away from the thing that had just pulverized my boyfriend. The shadow entered a stream of moonlight. It was a man. He had peppered hair and a blood-speckled face. He had dark brown eyes and a small smile perched on his lips.
"You okay, sweetheart?" He said. His voice was deep. I was partially surprised. He wasn't a bulky man. He was tall and had a broad frame, but his limbs were long and his body was lithe. He wore a leather jacket and his boots were slick with what I could only assume were Will's brains. I didn't want to look at his bat.
"W-Why did you do that?" I whispered. It was all I could muster.
"He was going to kill you." The man sounded confused, like I was supposed to know who he was and why he saved me.
"You don't know that." My voice was quiet. My eyes were glued to a spot behind the man, unblinking. He let out a throaty chuckle and dropped to a squat, leveling with me.
"Doll, he had a knife pressed to your throat," His words were gentle "Looked like he was gonna fuckin' kill you." He hesitantly reached out two fingers in the direction of my face. I didn't move. He was wearing leather gloves. The ridged fabric ran along my injuries. "Seems like he did some damage before I could step in. Damn. Sorry about that. Listen, I live a few streets down. If you want, I can get you cleaned up."
"Okay," I said softly. I let him help me up to my feet. He guided me along with one arm while holding his bat with the other. As we walked out of the alley I couldn't help but look down at Will, or what remained of him at least. His forehead was split in half, a pool of chunky blood bubbling on the ground. I clenched my jaw and forced myself to swallow the bile that had risen in my throat. And yet, I didn't feel sad. I didn't mourn him. Maybe it was shock, maybe it wasn't. "Thank you?" I murmured, though it was more of a question. The man and I stepped out onto the street and I was grateful there was no one around to see us leaving the scene of a very heinous-looking crime.
"No problem, doll," The man hummed, setting a brisk pace down the sidewalk. "The name's Negan, by the way." Cool. Negan: my Savior.
~~~
"So you're like Batman?" I asked Negan as he dabbed the blood away from my neck. He gave a short chuckle and tore away the sticky part of the band-aid.
"I guess you can say that," he mused, splaying the bandage over the cut the knife had left "but I specifically go for people that I know have hurt others. The baddies, if you will."
"Is that legal?" I tilted my head, crossing my ankles as they dangled over the bathroom counter. My palms were flat on the surface of Negan's marble sink top, fiddling with the wrappers of the medical supplies he had used to clean and bandage my small cuts and bruises.
"I haven't been caught," Negan shrugged "besides, it's less work for the police. They don't have to do any interrogation bullshit or anything. I usually catch people in the act, like tonight. Then I do my thing."
"Do you kill everyone?"
"Only the bad people," He reminded, tossing away a bloody tissue "only people who have hurt others. But, yes, usually the offender ends up on the business end of Lucille over there." He pointed out the door into the living room, where the still-bloody bat rested against a chair. I furrowed my brow.
"Well, doesn't that make you a bad guy?" I pressed. He tapped my knee and I dropped down to the tile floor, tucking my hair behind my ear and gathering some of the scraps.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you still kill people, right? Even if they're bad? So doesn't that still make you a killer?" Negan was quiet for a minute. "Let's put it this way," I continued "What would you do if you came across someone who was like you; someone who hurt the bad people. Would you still kill them. They're hurting people." Negan took a deep breath and let it out with a contemplative sigh, itching his bearded chin.
"I'm not sure," He mused "I've never really thought about it before. See, I don't consider myself a bad person per say. Yea, what I'm doing might be considered fucked up. But I'm doing it for the right reason. I'm protecting people by attacking their attackers. In the end, someone's saved." He brushed off his hands and led me out of the bathroom, flicking the light off. "Would you rather me not have saved you tonight?"
"No," I said immediately "thank you. Really, thank you. You saved my life. Will is...was...always a dick, but I never thought he'd actually hurt me. I guess that proves people can have a whole bunch of layers." Negan nodded and moved to the kitchen. He raised a bottle of whiskey as an offering. I shook my head but he poured himself a glass.
"I was just doing my job," Negan grinned sympathetically "I'm sorry your boyfriend was an asshole who tried to murder you." I shrugged, amusement in my eyes.
"Eh, it happens to everyone." I smiled as he let out another laugh. I felt as if I shouldn't be laughing, but at the same time, everyone has their own responses to almost getting stabbed to death in an alley. So I let myself have this moment. Besides, Negan was a good guy to be around. He made me feel safe, comfortable, secure. Everything I needed right now. "So, Negan, what do you do? Surely vigilante-ing can't pay well, and this apartment is really nice."
"I'm a retired baseball player," Negan said, sipping his whiskey and settling into one of the armchairs in the living room "Hence the bat."
"Were you any good?" I asked. He let out a loud scoff.
"Was I any good?" He mocked "Sweetheart, I have a whole damn trophy room. I was fucking amazing. I just got old."
"So you're rich with no real job, you kill bad guys, and you have a massive ego," I listed "You really are like Batman, aren't you?"
~~~
Negan let me stay on his couch that night. It was leather, like everything else that man seemed to own, but it was comfortable. I woke up to the smell of bacon filling the air. I groaned and rubbed my fists against my eyes, clearing them of sleep. I stretched my arms above my head in a yawn and rolled off the couch, stumbling into the kitchen. Negan was hunched over the bubbling pan, dodging pellets of grease as they shot up at him.
"Smells good!" I purred, closing my eyes and taking a deep inhale.
"Good," He grumbled "You better fucking enjoy it because I've gotten burned at least three times." I laughed and walked up to him examining the small red patches that dotted his arms.
"You didn't have to make me breakfast you know."
"Yea, but I wanted to make sure you were comfortable," He sighed, turning off the stove and scooping the cooked bacon onto a paper towel. "Besides, I was craving some bacon when I woke up. I haven't had someone to share a meal with in a while."
"Well, if you want, you can come by my house for dinner." I offered, crunching down on a piece of bacon "I've been meaning to whip out the family alfredo recipe for a while, maybe a hot date would give me that incentive." I gave him a playful wink and he chuckled.
"Sure thing, doll," He hummed, putting the pan in the sink "I love me some fucking spaghetti. I'll see you around seven?"
"Sounds good."
~~~
I ran down the sidewalk, chest heaving. There was enough darkness to cover me, but I still kept my head down to prevent recognition. I held my hands close to my stomach, praying that the blood on my fingers wouldn't drip on the pavement and leave a trail. I had been on my way home from the store when I heard some commotion coming from an alley. My first instinct was to run, but then I heard the girl crying for help. Negan came to mind, what he did, how he helped people. I couldn't turn away. I marched down the alley and saw a greasy man pinning a woman to the wall of a building. Flashbacks of the night before hit me like a train. I looked on top of the alley dumpster  and saw a crowbar perched on one of the lids. I grabbed it and stormed up to the man, whacking him upside the head with the weapon. I kicked him to the side and brought the crowbar over my head before swinging it down. It connected with his face in a sickening 'thwack.' I thought of Will. I thought of what might of happened if Negan had never stopped him. I thought of all the times that bastard had gotten drunk and told me I was nothing. I let the rage bubble up and fuel my beating. By the time I was pulled back into the moment, my muscles were screaming, the woman was gone, and the man's face was unrecognizable. I tossed the crowbar into the dumpster and ran back home.
Dried blood is extremely hard to wash off. It sticks to your skin in flakes, creating a pattern of red veins crawling over your hands. Fuck. I scrubbed as hard as I could under the rushing water of the sink, pumping more and more soap into my hand. It was under my fingernails. It was stuck in my palm prints. Shit, did I leave fingerprints at the scene? Would they be coming for me? With a hiss, I rubbed even harder at my skin, small flecks of blood turning the sink water red.
Suddenly, my door opened.
"I'm ready for my s'getties!" Negan boomed with a wide smile. My head whipped around, looking at him with wide eyes. His grin faded and he crossed the room in record time, grabbing my wrists and turning the sink off. "Is this fucking blood?" He snarled, bringing my hands up to my face. I clenched my jaw and dropped my eyes to my feet. "Jesus, who's is it? Answer me!"
"I-I heard someone screaming on the way home," I said quietly, eyes still downcast "I thought I would help..." His jaw went slack and he let go of my hands, running his fingers through his hair.
"Jesus fuck, you can't just go around killing people!"
"Why not?" I snapped, eyes meeting his "You do it all the time? What's the difference? Why can't I help people?"
"Because it...Because you just can't!" Negan growled, shaking his head.
"Why are you so special?" I hissed back, drying my hands off on a towel before tossing it at him "It's not like you can get a permit for fucking murder. Why do you do it, anyways? Is it some perverted thing? Do you get off on saving people from attackers?"
"Watch yourself." Negan warned, eyes darkening.
"Pfft, or what?" I laughed, tossing my head back "What are you gonna do, kill me? I'm not afraid of you, Negan." As soon as the words left my mouth, he charged me. His hand flew to my throat, squeezing my airway lightly. His hips pressed me against the counter. I let out a small gasp when he shoved his face next to mine.
"Oh, but doll, you really fucking should be." He spat, curling his lip "I could snap your neck right here, right now." He gave a small squeeze to emphasize his words. I let out a strangled moan. We both froze. "Are you turned on right now?" He muttered, furrowing his brow. I licked my lips and squirmed in his grip, pressing my thighs together slightly in an effort to alleviate the warm pressure growing in my belly.
"No," I lied, voice weak. A sinister grin curled over the bottom half of his face and he licked his tongue over his teeth.
"And I'm the perv, huh?" He sucked on my earlobe and peppered kisses down my jawline "Sweetheart, tell me, do you want me to fuck that pretty little pussy of yours? Do you want me to make you cum harder than you ever have?" I whimpered at his dirty mouth. "Use your words, doll, or I'll leave right fucking now."
"Y-Yes!" I breathed as Negan's lips sucked on the sweet spot right beneath my ear.
"Yes, what, princess?"
"Yes, I want you to fuck me, please!" I groaned, clawing at his shirt. He let out a short chuckle, muttering something about how needy I was, but I didn't care. Right now, the only thought running through my head was that I needed Negan. I needed all of him. And damn me if I wasn't going to get it.
We clawed at each other's clothes like rabid animals. Once we were completely bare, Negan moved his kisses down my body. His large, calloused hands kneaded my breasts, twisting my nipples between his thumbs. My arms flew around his neck and I dragged my fingernails up his back. He shivered against my touch and slid his hands further down my body. They settled firmly on my hips as he captured my lips in a fervent kiss.
"Fuck, sweetheart," he grunted, pulling back for air. I looked at him. His tawny eyes were now black, pupils far beyond dilated with lust. Both of our lips were swollen and red from the intensity of our kisses. Negan's chest inflated and deflated quickly as his eyes roamed over my body. "You're so damn perfect." I smiled sheepishly and pulled my bottom lip between my teeth, looking up at him through lidded eyes.
"You're not so bad yourself," I reached out my hand and used my pointer finger to draw a line from his collar bone down the center of his chest and through his navel, finally ending right over his pulsing cock. He sucked in a breath as my fingers closed around him. My thumb swept over the hot tip, gathering precum on the pad of my finger and rubbing it around.
"Shit," He hissed as I slowly pumped him "I'm not gonna fucking last if you keep doing that." He gently pried my hand away and took a step closer to me. I could feel his hardened length resting against the inside of my thigh. The thought of him being so close made a burst of heat rush down between my thighs. Negan took a long finger and ran it through my folds, collecting my wetness. I moaned as he teasingly dipped the first knuckle into me. He pulled back and let out a low whistle. "Damn, girl," he chuckled, raising his finger to my face "You're fucking dripping. Who's that for?" His slick-coated fingers glistened in the light of my apartment. I let out a deep groan as he slid them between his lips and sucked.
"You, Negan!" I whimpered, wrapping my legs around his waist "It's all for you." A wolfish grin spread over his features as he tugged me off him and pulled me down off the counter. He spun me around and pressed gently between my shoulder blades until my chest was flat against the cold surface.
"Then if you don't mind," Negan cooed, lining himself up with my entrance "I'm going to take what belongs to me." With that, he slowly pushed into me. I gasped at the stretch, balling my hands into fists as he continued to split me open.
"Fucking shit," he groaned once he bottomed out "you're tight as hell. I bet you've never had a dick as big as mine." He pulled out slightly and I let out a moan at the growing emptiness inside. The moan soon turned to a yelp when he brought down his hand against my ass. The smack was loud and he rubbed the red spot tenderly. "Have you?"
"N-No!" I gasped when he thrusted into me for the first time "Never. Fuck, you feel so good." Negan's thrusts sped up, his hips snapping against my ass in an obscene rhythm. Grunts and moans of pleasure slipped from both of our lips as he plowed unapologetically into me. I could feel every inch of him. He was hitting every spot, dragging against my walls in a sinfully perfect way.
"You're doing so good," He purred, kissing and biting my shoulder "So good for me. You're so perfect." I tossed my head back and he grabbed my chin, tilting my face towards him so he could give me another bruising kiss. I could only keep up for so long, though, and the white bliss of pleasure he was giving me soon became overwhelming. My jaw went slack and my head dropped against the cool tile of the counter in an attempt to ground myself in the moment. "I want you to cum, doll, cum around me. Wanna feel those walls squeeze me." His thrusts were starting to become sloppy and I could tell he was getting to his end. One of his fingers danced down my spine and found its way to my clit. He circled it with just enough pressure to get me to the edge that I was so willing to jump off. "Now." Negan growled. I obeyed, feeling the band in my lower abdomen snapping violently. We reached our releases simultaneously. My walls clenched around him, milking him of every drop. I screwed my eyes shut and screamed his name, holding in a large breath as the world around me spun. Negan eventually pulled himself out and collapsed on top of me. We both were breathing heavily, sweaty bodies entangled as well as we could over a counter. I swallowed, my throat dry from panting through my orgasm. When my eyes fluttered open, I could see Negan's thumb tracing circles over the love bites that were starting to darken on my shoulders.
"Are you going to kill me?" I rasped, running a hand through my wild hair "I guess I'm a bad person now." Negan chuckled, still out of breath.
"I think I'll make an exception," He mused, pressing a sweet kiss to the shell of my ear "I don't think I'm ready to let you go just yet."
Youngbin
"I'll hug you and you click the picture"
"Okay. But you'll have to help me angle it properly cause of your outfit."
"I know I know. Just turn it a bit towards me. Okay. Yes!" You exclaim finally happy with the angle. Clicking a good number of selfies with your boyfriend Youngbin, you check them to make sure that you atleast got a few you can post.
Monitoring the pictures along with you, Youngbin holds you close to him even after the photo session. You see, there was a wedding. One of your friend's. And being your boyfriend, Youngbin offered to be your date.
So here you both are, all doll'd up and pretty, finally taking couple pics after what seems like forever. Smiling happily you bounce on your feet. The pictures turned out perfect!
To celebrate, you kiss him joyfully, well you ended up kissing his neck because that the height you are able to reach with your heels right now. Pulling away with a small smile, a frown takes over when you notice your lipstick mark on his neck.
Widening your eyes, you panic trying to figure out how you can remove the mark quickly. Remembering that you have tissues in your bag, you take take it out and begin to clean.
"I'm sorry. I forgot I had lipstick." You say sadly, but concentrating on the task in hand. Youngbin, however, is still frozen in his spot, not even moving his eye lids. When you finish and move away, he breathes out contracting his chest.
"Jagi." He huffs slowly. "You, you can't just do that." He says in a small pout.
"Do what?" You look in his eyes. Realizing that you meant nothing by it, his face just breaks into a smile.
"Nothing. Let's go. Or we're going to be late!" He exclaims wrapping his arm around your shoulder, pulling you to walk with him.
Inseong
A lovely afternoon spent with your boyfriend. Aka. You having your nose in your novel and him having his nose in his novel. It's actually something you both do often. And then comes the regular discussing favourite parts, which he claims is the best part of your mini book club.
You were both seated at opposite ends if the couch, when you huffed closing your book. Now, normally you would've finished it, but for some reason your eyes were starting to lose focus. Maybe it was stress or overworking. Keeping the book on the table in front of the couch, you slowly crawl away from your side to his.
Peering over his shoulder, you try to see what page he is on.
"What are you doing?" Inseong asked with a smirk.
"Nothing. Just cuddling my super cuddly boyfriend" you said whilst moving your legs on his lap and hands landing around his shoulders. Kissing his cheek with a smile, you nest your head in his neck, closing you eyes when you feel his arm on your back.
Blinking your eyes open, you mindlessly pout, tired and a bit bored. 'Hmm, he smells nice', you think to yourself. Sliding your head back a little on his shoulder, you start to drag your pouty lips against his neck, occasionally pecking it too.
Biting his lip, Inseong shuts his eyes, moaning in satisfaction as you kiss his neck. Giggling at his reaction, you stop what you're doing. "Are you actually getting turned on by me just kissing your neck? " you ask with the biggest smile on your face.
Reciprocating your smile, Inseong chuckles, opening one of his eyes to look at you. "Not my fault. You just know how to drive me crazy for you." He says leaning forward to capture your lips in a dizzying kiss.
Jaeyoon
Sitting on a chair near the dining table, Jaeyoon scrolls through his phone, scouring for a new recipe to try out. Finding one that seems interesting, he clicks on it and starts to read. Being so engrossed in learning it, he fails to notice you come out of the bedroom.
Almost walking past him towards the fridge, you stop in your tracks and decide to have some fun. Tapping his left shoulder, you wait for him to turn but quickly move to the right. Snickering silently, you repeat the same action again, now tapping his right side, but he notices your hair before you moved.
Chuckling he looks down shaking his head. "Jagiya, you're very cute. But not very slick." He laughs when you whine into his neck. Relaxing onto his back, you pout sadly.
"What are you seeing?" You ask curiously.
"A new recipe you might like. I think we have all the ingredients, so I was planning on trying it. What do you think?" He hums in question, raising a hand to pet your hair.
"Okay. I'll be happy with whatever you feed me." You reply genuinely. Playing a kiss on his cheek first, he turns to look back to his phone smiling. But you wanted to kiss him more. So instead you just choose to kiss his neck.
Licking your lips a little, you press a medium kiss on his neck, making his stop everything he was doing. Unfazed, you walk to the fridge to take a cold water bottle from it. Turning you gasp, almost colliding into Jae's chest.
"Jae... " you say looking at him, wondering why he's standing so close to you. Sighing he leans down to your height, kissing you on the lips once. Twice. Thrice.
Keeping the water bottle on the kitchen counter next to the fridge, you wrap your arms around his broad shoulders, feeling his back muscles as you make out with your boyfriend. Loving your reciprocation, Jaeyoon lifts you off the ground and makes you sit on the counter, not breaking the kiss for one second...
Dawon
You gasp in surprise when you feel a strong chest hug into you. Kissing the side of your head, Sanghyuk smiles, happy to finally have you in his arms after another long day of work.
"Hi"
"Hi baby. You took a shower?" You ask, noticing that he's wearing only sweatpants.
"Yeah. I went to the gym after work." He replies, walking towards the mirror to apply his moisturizer.
Nodding you change out of your work clothes, finally feeling like you can breathe again. Now it was your turn to hug him.
Approaching him slowly, you tickle your way around his torso and abs, resting your forehead against his ear you sigh satisfactorily. Smiling widely at your clingyness, Sanghyuk continues to moisturize. "Tired?"
Humming a response you open your eyes and breathe out, having closed your eyes as soon as you hugged him. Pluckering your lips, you lean up to kiss one long sweet kiss on his neck. And then another next to it. And another.
"I thought you were tired." He says in a deadpanned tone.
"I am" you hum.
"Fuck it. I'll do most of the work then" Turning around, Sanghyuk stares down at you, biting his lip sexily making your breath hitch and mind go blank. Grabbing your waist in one hand to pull you flush into him, he leans down to connect your lips together while his other hand cups your butt, asking you to jump into his arms so he can take you to bed for a long, long night.
Zuho
You were laying across the couch, you boyfriend Juho sitting on the ground, his back on the same couch near your head. You were waiting for your lunch to be delivered, the app saying it'll take only a few minutes.
The day was spent well with taking the cats to the vet, then going grocery shopping and coming back home and putting them in their respective containers. Of course the whole ordeal tired you both out. So you decided to treat yourselves by ordering in.
You laugh silently as Juho played with Kompangg, making weird sounds to get the feline's attention and to make her meow. Huru of course the rebel, in his own world, sleeping cutely in his bed.
Pulling yourself forward by your arms, you place you head on Juho's shoulder, trying to help him play with his younger pawed child. When she finally meowed after a lot of both of your efforts, you cheer extending your arm to pet her ears.
Smiling at her doey eyes, you place an innocent kiss on Juho's neck, resuming your previous position on the couch.
"Why did you do that? " Juho asks, putting Kom in the ground. Turning to you with a smirk, Juho leans his hands on the couch.
"Do what?" You ask quizzically, cause you really didn't know. Looking at your clueless expression, Juho realizes that you didn't mean anything by that kiss. Pursuing his lips, he looks down on his lap, cringing at his dirty mind.
"Did you think I wanted sex?!" You accuse him when you figure out what he was thinking. Scratching the back of his neck, he laughs timidly trying to think of an excuse when the front door bell rang.
"Ah! Yes food's here!" He says quicky, sprinting off towards the door while you laugh.
Rowoon
Sprawled widely on the bed, Seokwoo replies to his texts with a pout on his lips while waiting for you to join him so he can cuddle you to sleep. Jumping onto the bed, you grab your pillow and lay on top of it for support while looking into his phone too.
"Why do you have so many at this time? "
"I ignored the group from morning." He replies.
Nodding your head, you sigh in exhaustion from the day's work. Pushing half of your body on his, you rest your chin in his neck and close your eyes. What you've been addicted to since dating him, was situating yourself on top of him whenever where ever he lies down. It always gave you warmth. And him a sense of feeling small. He also loves it when you give him a back massage or draw on top of his wide back, just for the fun of it.
"Okay! I'm done. Let's sleep." Seokwoo says making you open your eyes in surprise.
"Okie" you say in a small voice, bending down to peck his neck before rolling off him onto your side if the bed.
Opening his mouth for a good ten seconds, he licks his lips and turns his head to look at you. Seeing you wrap yourself in the comforter like a burrito, he blinks in confusion.
Once settled, you look at him in question, wondering why he isn't tucking himself in. "Why are you not turning? Are you okay? "
Your words pull him out of his trance. Opening his mouth to answer, but closing it again when he realizes that he doesn't have one, he just looks at you.
"Nothing. Good night." He finally says, wondering why such a simple action took him by so much surprise.
Yoo Taeyang
Smiling lovingly Taeyang stands in the kitchen preparing an even more love filled meal for you. He knows how you've only had a small breakfast, so he took it upon himself to make you something delicious for when you come out of the bedroom after attending all your meetings.
Humming along with the song playing in the background, he stirs the contents of the pot. "Y/N will like this." He says to himself. And as if you cue, he hears the bedroom door open and from there came out a very tired you.
Walking into the kitchen, you let your feet drag you till you're behind Taeyang. Wrapping your arms around his torso while being careful of the hot vessel on the stove, you rest your head on his back. "I hate work" you complain pouting.
"I know. " he agrees, chuckling at your childish behaviour. Taking in a deep breath, smelling the aroma of your lunch, you sway in happiness while still hugging Taeyang. Rising on your tippy toes, you place a small kiss on his neck, squeezing him tightly in your arms. Freezing he widens his eyes as his shoulders tense at your actions.
"You're amazing" you compliment him. Pulling away you begin to walk towards the bathroom, completely failing to notice your blushing mess of a boyfriend.
"You can't just do that!" He complains loudly to a still very clueless you.
Hwiyoung
Tired from overworking yourself, you close your eyes leaning back in your chair. Youngkyun was sitting next to you, doing his work. Noticing your despair immediately, he pauses and saves his work first, then yours.
"Let's go take a nap. We've been here long enough." He says, worry laced in every syllable.
Nodding you push your chair back a bit, until your legs are out. Lifting your arms up to him, you silently ask him to carry you to bed. Smiling at your cuteness, he obliges, not having the heart to say no to you. Like always.
And so he gently picks you up bridal style and walks to the bed. And just as, if not even more gently, he places you on the bed. Unfolding the blanket, he spreads it on the bed before getting in with you, making sure you are tucked in well.
Attacking him as soon as he's settled next to you, you throw one leg across his torso and intertwine your hands on his chest,nuzzling your nose shamelessly in his neck. Chuckling he starts to pat your shoulder, back and head, to put you to sleep.
Releasing a breath finally feeling relaxed, you turn your head up to kiss him, not really caring where you ended up kissing him, but you kiss him. "I love you" you mumble against his skin.
Biting his lip, he continues to pat you to sleep, while he lays there wide awake, still feeling the aftermath of your simple kiss. Little do you know, he's silently begging his hormones to calm down or else he will never hear the end of it.
Chani
A typical Saturday afternoon for the two of you. You are engrossed in your work while Chanhee is on his desktop playing games. Being cooped up in your work for so long, you decide that you needed to take a break. Probably a snack too.
Getting up from your position, you walk towards Chanhee's chair to wrap your hands around his shoulders. Smiling when he feels your presence behind him, he just continues to play his game. Playing a sweet kiss on his cheek, you lean your head against his temple, averting your attention to the screen.
"What"
"Nothing. Just trying to see what's so interesting in the game."
Lifting your head to look at him for a moment, you bend down and press your nose to his neck. Giggling at your action, Chani is about to protest when he freezes in his spot. Playing tiny pecks of admiration on his neck repeatedly, you close your eyes happy to be in his warmth.
"Stop! " Chani exclaims in surprise, pausing the game.
Opening your eyes at this sudden outburst, you look at him with curious eyes. "Why?"
"Do you- Are you- ah.... " Gulping he is at a loss for words. Staring at your with wide eyes he just opens and closes his mouth.
Blinking you giggle at his flush state, not really catching what's going on in his mind. "I'm gonna make myself a snack. When you decide what and how you want to tell me, I'll be ready." You laugh exiting the room, leaving a very dumbfolded Chani in your wake.
hungry (osamu miya x f. reader)
summary: You have a big crush on the handsome owner of an onigiri shop. He thinks it’s annoying. Or does he?
a/n: eh idk what this is. timeskip love haha. but this might be a triggering so please keep that in mind and read the warnings
warnings: 18+, yandere themes, noncon/dubcon/rape, raw sex, kinda public sex?, some degradation, little bit of spanking and hairpulling, abusive language, violence, stalking, mentions of past sexual abuse, you vomit but it's not sexualized it's trauma-induced, timeskip!osamu :)
The energy of the restaurant is oddly calm tonight. Nights are almost never tranquil at Onigiri Miya with the constant parade of people coming in, so you hum in satisfaction when you scan the restaurant and there's barely anyone here. You stare down at your half-eaten onigiri and the loyalty stamp card that you filled up from how often you come here. After nine visits, you get a free onigiri on your tenth one as long as you show them your stamp card.
This is your hundredth visit—you remember because the first time you entered Onigiri Miya was ten stamp cards ago. The staff already know your name, if not by your face and your timid behavior that makes you stutter when ordering the same thing every time they see you. As peculiar as they think you are (for coming to Onigiri Miya at the same time on Fridays and Saturdays for the past six months and sitting alone quietly until they close), they warmly welcome you.
It's only you in the dining area tonight. The few employees that Onigri Miya has must have left earlier than usual. You suddenly tense up in your seat and grip onto your cup of freshly-poured hot tea tightly between tremulous fingers. The familiar male figure, standing at over six feet tall with beautiful broad shoulders, passes by the front counter, disappearing as he makes his way to the back.
After you let out a harsh breath, you adjust your phone from behind your purse on the table. Your phone is propped up behind it, the camera lens slightly peeking over the faux leather. Butterflies form in your stomach when you see that you were still recording and you caught him on camera.
Yes, you go to Onigiri Miya because the food is amazing. Somehow, they make a dish as simple as a rice ball so delectable and appetizing and you adore them because of it. But hyperfixation is a fucking bitch, your thought process is a little flawed, and the real reason why you frequent the establishment is because Osamu Miya is absolutely gorgeous. Every time you see him, you're left wondering what it would be like to run your fingers through his dark hair or how his lips feel pressed against yours. Your thoughts run wild. How does he like his eggs in the morning? What's his family like? Does he sleep on the right side of the bed? Left side? In the middle? Does he have space for you on his bed?
How does it feel to be loved by Osamu Miya?
Every time you visit the restaurant, visibly nervous with anxiety beating in your chest and your throat closing as you try to speak, you feel that you're one step close to finding out. And maybe you did feel it once. Just once. You're unsure if that one special moment you shared with Osamu was genuine from his heart with good intentions, but you would do anything for that feeling to last forever. And if that made your whole being feel as if you were floating, then why wouldn't it be the same for him?
So, that's why you're here. To relive that special moment in the way that you fantasized about—something that can become a fond memory instead of a dream deep inside your head that leaves you yearning for physicality. Desire is the only sensation that you've felt for the past six months and it's torture to watch the man that you've fallen in love with barely acknowledge you as a person even if he's seen your face in his restaurant consistently every week since you first met. Since he saved you.
Six months later. Six months to move on. Six months to get help and yet you're still digging your hands into your panties and biting onto your sheets to gag yourself because of one man after every visit to his restaurant.
"Hey."
Oh, that voice makes your thighs tremble every time you hear it. As stoic and impassive as it is, it's the same voice that gave you solace when you were beaten down in the dark to bleed on concrete. You're gritting your teeth—nearly moaning at the sweet sound—as that voice almost breaks you out of your thoughts. Almost.
"(Y/N), are you okay?" Osamu asks in a deadpan tone from his place behind the counter. You jolt suddenly. For someone who's so obsessive with small details, you sure don't pay much attention to your surroundings. You quickly shake your head when you realize that he's talking to you.
"Y-yes. I'm...I'm fine, O...samu," you squeak in embarrassment. You don't realize it, but you're clutching onto your stamp card with white knuckles. His gray hooded eyes seem to be staring right through you, as if he knows why you're here tonight, what you're looking for. But whatever he does notice, he doesn't mention. His eyes dart down to your purse before he maintains eye contact with you.
He places his hand on the counter to lean on it. The small action makes your mouth dry. He's so fucking beautiful. "It's almost ten-o'clock. I'm gonna close up. You should leave soon."
But you don't want to leave yet. Tonight was supposed to be the night that you finally made your dreams come true. It's only him and you in the restaurant tonight, so it must mean something.
"Where...where's the rest of the c-crew?" you ask shakily. Fuck, get yourself together. You just need an excuse not to leave. And he might know your name, but he doesn't know you. Not yet.
He raises a thick eyebrow at your question before answering, "Left early tonight. Just me taking care of the shop." You should have noticed. This is why you leave your phone recording while you're there—you don't want to miss anything in case you get distracted.
But does he want you to leave? Your heart aches at the thought of him not wanting your presence when you've been craving his for so long. "I see," you mutter awkwardly.
What do I do now?
"You've got a lot of nerve, you know that?" he says after a few seconds of awkward silence. You haven't moved from your seat and neither has Osamu moved from his spot to "close up" as he said he would. You wonder if the door is already locked.
"What do you mean?" Your heart is thumping more now than it has in the past three hours you've been here. Osamu lives in your brain rent-free yet you can barely breathe around him. Now he's speaking to you. Actually speaking to you.
"You know exactly what I mean," he calmly accuses you. The unexpected shift in his tone makes your blood run cold. "Wonder if your phone has run out of storage yet. Funny you go out of your way to come here twice a week just to record me."
"What?!" you cry out, suddenly shooting up from your seat. Your chair skids a few inches across the floor behind you before it tilts and hits the ground with a crash. The quick movement causes the table in front of you to shake and make your phone to fall back as well, the screen smashing against the wood and the camera lens facing up towards the ceiling. You feel like you're about to have a heart attack. Your vision goes blurry from tears suddenly threatening to overflow because were you that obvious?
"I noticed. A long time ago. Remember you from that night back in the alley. Very unique face you got there," Osamu hums. He steps around the counter to make his way towards you. You cower into the wall beside your table, your eyes darting from your phone and Osamu's threatening figure.
Back in the alley. The image of the back alley behind Onigiri Miya flashes in your mind. Dark, wet, and sadly gray. That's where you first met him.
"Didn't expect to see you back here. Thought you might've developed PTSD or something with how you were crying. Now you're stalking me."
"No," you loudly plead, shaking your head side to side, "I don't know what you're talking about!" You're lying straight through your teeth. That's funny—you've been coming to his restaurant for a chance to see him again, but he's coming closer and closer and you're terrified instead of happy. Your knees buckle as you press your back against the wall. You squeeze your eyes shut as the memories come flooding back into your system in vivid detail.
He continues on, "Don't even lie to me. Stalking me like a crazy bitch. I wasn't sure what I should do about you. I felt bad for you and let you continue doing this, even thought about calling the police for a little bit, but…"
Osamu almost never talks to you, maybe a few times where he's handling the register and the orders and he has to talk to you, but he's always in the open kitchen where you can freely admire him when you want to, always an arm's length away. When you would think about what your first conversation together would be like, you always imagined his words to be kind. Sweet. Maybe he'd say he admired you—
"...you're a little fucked up in the head, huh?"
His tone is hostile. There's no love laced in any of the syllables falling from his tongue. He's annoyed. He hates the fact that you want him—it's that obvious but you don't want to believe it, especially when you think you worked so hard. It's not fair.
Your mind is hazy as he's coming closer and closer to your trembling form. You see his lips moving and the calm expression on his face turn into hard evil, but your ears can't decipher what he's saying. His words have faded into white noise. And you've seen him multiple times, traced his face through the screen of your phone, admired him from afar at the same spot in his restaurant for months, but his face is sharper, harsher, and almost unrecognizable. Is this really the man that saved you? Is this really Osamu Miya?
Your blood is pumping loudly in your ears. It's the only sound that you can make out other than your heavy breathing. God, if he gets any closer...
Then, the adrenaline kicks in and you're lunging at him with your arms outstretched towards his large frame. You don't know what you're going to do and sure as hell you're no match for him, but your body is screaming at you. Your senses are running wild, like the aura that Osamu is emitting is lighting you on fire and making you act on primal instinct. It's telling you to fight.
To fight him. To bash your tiny fists against his handsome face because he should have fallen in love with you the moment that you fell in love with him, but he has the audacity to leave you hanging for half a year and call you a stalker.
And it's painful. You're not sure which hurts more, but at this moment, the physical pain is excruciating. You can't breathe anymore, not when his calloused hands (from years of training on the court, which you found out from the internet, and in the kitchen) are wrapped around your throat. You can't think straight either—your head hit the ground a little too hard and the world is spinning. Osamu's face is contorted in anger and even if your world is spinning, his features are as clear as day.
Your memories start crashing down inside your brain in fragments. The pain, frustration, and sadness hit you all at once—it’s nauseating. It’s as if Osamu can sense this, too, because as soon as he notices your sick expression, he flips you over to force you on your knees with one arm around your waist, his hand in your scalp to hold your head in place towards the floor and then you’re heaving and gagging out the rice balls you consumed earlier. Your throat is on fire and you're still coughing up pieces of rice.
“You gross bitch,” he mutters.
You gross bitch.
It's bouncing around in your ear drum until it fades into cotton, a familiar set of words that cut you deep that you were able to pick up on easily among the other curses he's been throwing at you. The same words from six months ago. A trigger? Yeah, that's what the internet calls it. You almost died, or at least that's what it felt like. That's the only way you can describe it, the only way you were able to make sense of what happened, because you feel that you might as well have.
It was from someone else's mouth—a disgusting, grimy man whose face haunted your dreams for months, a man with greasy fingers that put his hands on you, who beat you until you were nearly unconscious with blood dripping down your chin, who ripped you away of your pride and worth until you were nothing. The concrete was wet and cold, scraping against your sensitive skin and breaking through layers as he rutted into you. His breath fucking stunk and for fuck's sake, you don't know if you've seen anyone uglier, but as fucked up as it is, he made you feel ugly.
You thought you saw an angel that day. The backdoor to Onigiri Miya opened up and when you finally opened your eyes and looked up, there he was—with blank gray eyes that stared down at the scene before him in slight disgust, and then he ripped the repulsive body off of your half-naked form. You were too weak.
While you were weak and scared and incoherent, Osamu saw you and didn't hesitate to protect you. At the end of every dream you've had since then, Osamu always came to help you.
And that should've been the end of it. That should've been the last time. You can't go through that again. No, no, no. You don't deserve to go through that again.
You don't deserve it.
You don't deserve it.
You don't deserve it.
You're more responsive and awake once Osamu bends you over the table you were sitting at, then your senses are overloading, telling you to resist, to keep fighting. You're so tired, at this point you're completely heartbroken, but you can't—you can't just give up yet. He's holding you down, restraining your wrists with one hand while his other hand is at your waistband pulling your shorts down your thighs. You're kicking at him with whatever strength you have left even if the taste in your mouth is vile, he's much stronger than you, and your head is pounding from the anxiety. You're grateful that you can even breathe.
But it feels like your body has failed you, once again, and for a second you think that you do deserve it. The adrenaline is almost gone, you can barely lift a finger, you feel like passing out, and—fuck—you're so stupid, so dependent on one person to make you feel high. With Osamu...you don't even know what to think. The image you dreamed of is long gone. It's sad that reality can crash over you so easily and ruin everything.
"Get off of me!" you scream. Over and over again. Until your voice cracks and your throat is on the brink of bleeding, coughing out your poor lungs. Until it's nothing but the essence of your torment. Your cup of tea, now warm, has spilled all over the table and is slowly seeping into your hair as your cheek rubs against the wood. And there's nothing else you can do, because Osamu is still behind you with your hands trapped by his. Your shorts and your panties are around your ankles. His jeans are unbuttoned and it's out.
You don't want to fight anymore, you're fucking terrified. So terrified that you can't bring yourself to move. As soon as you stop fighting, his breathing becomes steady and he's using less force on you. Sobs rack through your body hysterically when you feel it.
It's throbbing against your thigh—warm, leaking precum, long, and thick. The skin-to-skin contact in such an intimate area is making the hairs on the back of your neck rise. That tiny voice inside of your head is telling you to look back at it to see if his dick matches the image you made up in your head. Is it exactly how you pictured it? Is it as pretty?
He's wiping his precum against your tense skin. When you flinch at the tip of his cock rubbing against you, he bites his lip and kneads one of your ass cheeks with his free hand, spreading your holes open and ever so gently brushing his thumb over your pussy.
"You're...wet," he comments. You hear it. He dips his thumb between your folds and swipes it up and down and you hear the squelching of your cunt over your heavy breathing. That's—that's not right. No, you shouldn't be feeling this way. He pushes his thumb deeper into your cunt and slowly pulls it back out. You flinch and arch your back slightly at the sudden sensation, making you push your ass towards him. He lets out a breathy laugh at your reaction.
His thumb disappears for a second but it's instantly replaced with his dick probing at your entrance. With a roll of his hips, he breaks through your squishy flesh with some difficulty.
A loud yelp and a slurry of protests falls from your wet desperate lips. You wriggle your bottom, trying to create space between your two bodies, jerking away from him with whatever strength you have left. However, Osamu keeps going until he's completely bottomed out, filling you up until his tip is flush against your cervix. He lets go of your wrists so he could keep a firm grip on your hips instead. Whenever you moved, it burned.
Stop.
The stretch is unbearable—it's been half a year since you've had someone else inside you. The burn of having your hole forcefully split open wide again against your will has your head going delirious with so many mixed emotions. Fuck's sake, this isn't right and it's been heavily engraved in your brain for months that you have every right to fight back. Although you haven't been thinking straight for a long time, you're still lucid enough for your ears to work and soak up information like a sponge. He's moving, rutting his hips into your hot cunt cruelly. You can still fight him off, maybe you'd win if you tried again.
But this is Osamu. Your heart fucking aches for him and you want to get away, but it's Osamu drilling into your heat and it's just not fair. It's not fair because your body is still responding to his malicious touch. It's not fair because even if it hurts—and fuck, it hurts so damn much—you're involuntarily grinding your ass into him. It's not fucking fair because you can't hate him.
Why is life never fair?
"No," you sob, "No, no, no. It hurts. It hurts. Please stop." Your hot tears are mixing with the puddle of tea that's pooling underneath your cheek and your tongue still tastes foul from your little episode. You’re scared you might start gagging again.
"Stop?" he muses, "Haven't you been loitering in my restaurant because you've been craving my cock? You wanted this for months and the one time I give it to you, you're telling me to stop?" Osamu slams into your poor little cunt despite your pained cries and babbling. Your pussy is clamping around him, your body trying to accommodate his length and girth breaking into you so suddenly.
"Osamu." His name would've tasted so good if the situation was different. Little did you know that you pushed him passed his breaking point a long time ago. But Osamu knew that you were beyond yours ever since he met you. If only you weren't so fucking weird, maybe then he would've pitied you—maybe he would've genuinely felt something for you.
What a shame that you fell in love with a man who wouldn't be able to understand you.
"I'm tired of you coming into my restaurant," he grunts, snapping his hips against yours roughly, "-and treating me like I'm some kind of animal. Do I look like a fucking animal to you?"
You choke, “No. You don’t—that’s not why—please. You don’t understand.”
“Then tell me," he coaxes. But how do you tell him? Are you supposed to be honest? You're afraid that if you are honest, Osamu will treat you just as badly as he is now. It's also hard for you to collect your thoughts and find a sincere explanation that he could listen to—you're too focused on the many sensations pulsing through you. He raises a bulky arm only bring it down instantly to smack your ass with rough hands. The sudden impact forces you forward for a split second. Then he brings his hand down a few more times, until he's satisfied with the dark red hand print with tiny splotches dotted across your skin.
Is this a punishment for everything that you've done within the last six months? Punishment for admiring him through sneaky videos and pictures? Punishment for thinking about him all the time? You feel like a criminal, caught red-handed and forced to go through torture and suffer for your ungodly sins. Each time he hits you, you're twitching from the painful sting and praying for forgiveness.
"Stop it!" you beg through tears, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It hurts so much." Apologies start spilling from your sore throat impulsively.
I'm sorry, Osamu.
Please stop, Osamu.
It really hurts, Osamu.
But nothing that comes out of your mouth convinces him, and after awhile it's more like you're trying to convince yourself more. Suddenly the burning in your sensitive cunt is replaced with the inebriating desire and hunger for more friction between your two bodies and it leaves a shameful tint to bloom over you. You're salivating over his dick—you wanna see it so bad even if you're scared—and the guilt is eating at you on the inside. It feels good, actually enough to have you gripping onto the edge of the table and sucking Osamu into your cunt so that he doesn't pull back too far.
"Don't tell me that it hurts," he groans, "Your pussy is creaming all over me. You can't lie to me anymore."
He's right. You're lying more to yourself than him, though. You don't tell him to stop anymore, settling with swear words and a chorus of Osamu! Osamu! Osamu! It's amazing, intoxicating, and it also makes you feel disgusting. The way his cock fills up your tight pussy perfectly and how his balls are consistently smacking your clit and stimulating it—you're drooling from the pleasure.
"Does it feel good?" he huffs, "Is this what you wanted? To be a cockwhore for me?"
Your body betrays you and you're left moaning and crying at the same time with breathy words that Osamu can't decipher because you're a complete mess, but he swears he can hear you agree without hesitation. "Y-yes, fuck yes! Your cock is s-so amazing," you cry out, "Hurts so good, Osamu!"
It's not enough. Although you're gradually submitting to him, it's still not enough for the sadistic side of him. He wants to hear more of you, to push you until you're braindead and nothing more than a hole to stretch and tear apart just for the hell of it. He leans over you just to grab you by the disheveled hair on your scalp. Another scream leaves you as he pulls you up to be able to growl in your ear.
"Tell me everything, you whore," he breathes, softly yet maliciously. You try to answer him but the angle he has your neck at from the grip on your hair is choking you.
"Why'd you keep coming here? Obsessive little bitch. Why're you still here?" It's like he's laughing in your face even if his voice and expression say otherwise. He's mocking your pain, making you relive your trauma as if it was all a fucking joke. As if you’re incapable of feeling pain.
This isn't even supposed to feel as good as it does, yet it does. The way he calls you an obsessive little bitch has your stomach doing flips and your cheeks to flush even more. Then you're confused. You're enjoying his cock forced inside you and it's damn confusing.
Fuck, it’s enough to further damage your overstimulated psyche and turn you into someone you never thought you would be. An empty shell of the person you used to be because your body doesn’t even fucking feel like your body anymore. Nothing feels real anymore, like you're shifting through universes and living lifetimes but you're stuck in one place at the same time. Why do you always come back here?
You turn your head to the side, enough for you to see his face. His eyebrows are furrowed, probably from concentration on your slick pussy, and then he notices you staring at him. You don't utter another word, you might just choke and spew if you even open your mouth to attempt to (and holy shit, you don't want to embarrass yourself anymore), but your eyes—they answer his question in heavy silence. It’s enough for him to understand and see right through you. Loud and clear although you don't speak.
Because you saved me.
Your eyes roll into the back of your head as you let out another sob, but this cry is full of guilty pleasure instead with barely any tears. It has you nearly passing out and feeling sick to your stomach and just please—make it stop hurting. But it feels so damn good at the same time, to have the tip of his swelling cock kissing your cervix every time he slams into you, grinding his hips against your sweet cunt. Your body contracts violently as you release your liquids all around Osamu's cock, pushing your ass against his pelvis and knocking your empty tea cup and purse off the table. Intitially, the loud crash makes you jolt but it's nothing compared to how your orgasm crashing over you has you screaming and thrashing around pathetically.
You're cumming. You're cumming. You can't believe you're fucking cumming. You've never felt this way before and you always believed that sex was painful but you're still cumming long and hard on Osamu's cock. Your juices are being forced out of you.
And you didn't even want it.
You're embarrassed and oddly satisfied at the same time. Your cum is dribbling down your legs and there's no doubt that it's dripping down Osamu's pelvis and thighs, too. He lets go of your hair and your head drops forward onto the table with a thump. You wince at the contact, but you don't move.
After a few silent minutes (silent other than your audible panting) exhaustion finally hits you, and with a heavy breath you completely collapse against the table. You finally stop your death grip on the sides of the table to let them dangle off the edge. Your scalp is sore, it makes your head pound when you move your head even slightly.
A soft tired gasp escapes your throat in surprise; you feel little pecks going up your back and across your shoulders.
Then there’s feather-light kisses tickling your shoulder that leaves an agitated tingle in your nerves and—why? Why bother being gentle at this point? But the fluttering in your pelvis doesn't stop. He slips out of you just to turn your weak body over so you're laying on your back. You instantly move your eyes further down and—
It's pretty. Prettier than you imagined. His cock is fucking pretty. It's hypnotizing as you scan the vein running underneath the skin and the pink swollen head oozing clear liquid. It's glistening, dripping, with juices.
Holy shit, those are your juices.
It dawns on you that you both connected. Although not in the way that you had hoped, definitely not, but...you connected in the most physically intimate way possible. You felt him, his warmth, his damp skin, everything. Your eyes drift upwards. He's breathing heavily, his chest visibly moving. He has a firm grip on your thighs to keep you in place—you're not going anywhere. You don't want to go anywhere. Examining his face, you can see everything, every single detail. His lips, his lidded eyes, his cute nose, the shape of his face, and—wow—Osamu is pretty. So pretty. He's nearly angelic when you take a closer look. You don’t think you’ve ever been this close to him before.
You hope you're not imagining it, because you see something different behind his blank stare as if he's in as much of an awe as you are while you look up at him lovingly, like he didn't just hurt you. He took you against your will and yet you're staring at him like he just told you that you were his world. Are you a fucking idiot? Are you delusional?
"Do you love me?"
The question leaves him before he realizes his lips are forming the words. Osamu looks down at you, no other emotion laced in any of his handsome features except for distaste and...curiosity? With parted puffy lips and despair etched onto your cheeks, you slowly nod. The glazed look in your eyes draws him closer to your face, scrutinizing every part of your soft skin. He braces his hands on both sides of your trembling form. One part of your cheek is still wet from the tea that spilled earlier and your hair is disgustingly moist from a mixture of sweat and earl grey and you feel anxious again.
"Okay," he says, voice as monotonous and dead as usual, but also worn out and accompanied with heavy breathing. You tense when he leans even closer, but quickly relax when you feel him kiss your forehead. It's a delicate kiss that makes your heart flutter. Then he trails further and connects your lips. It's short, but wet and sweet. He hadn't kissed you on your mouth the whole night, it probably would have been too weird for him to kiss a sad stalker he didn't know, especially when you vomited on his otherwise spotless floor. The taste of him is lingering on your skin—you're almost afraid to lick your lips in case this'll be the last time you ever have his against yours.
He pulls you into his chest. Your heart might just jump out of yours. His cock is brushing against your shuddering core, hard and sticky, but he doesn't enter you. Osamu simply holds you close, one of his hands in your hair and the other flat against your back. You weakly bring your arms up to wrap around his shoulders and dig your face into the crook of his neck.
Then you cry. You let out a harsh breath and let yourself cry again, shoulders violently shaking and your chest tightening uncomfortably, for the thousandth time tonight even if you're tired and yearning for the comfort of your bed. Slowly, wet tears seep into his t-shirt. Osamu smells good—musky, sweaty, like a man. You don't understand what just happened—it brought you back to six months ago yet it feels entirely indifferent. He smells like a man, but he doesn't smell dirty like the last one who destroyed you.
He continues to hold you as you break down. Osamu thinks he understands, but you—you're more confused now more than ever.
I have the moon
Warnings: Quick ish Smut, 18+
Info : It’s Ellie and readers first night at their new house, that used to be Joel’s.
A/n: srry if it’s terrible, i’ve been busy and just not in the mood to write if i’m being honest but yeahhh also I would love to have requests that obviously fit within the story line because I’m getting a bit dry :))
Tumblr media
The boxes were full and ready to go. It took about a month to pack up and completely move into Joel’s farmhouse.
It was strange seeing your apartment empty. You had lived here on your own for so many years before Ellie came along. The furniture had changed over the years, and pretty much everything did due to Ellie moving in, having dogs, they suddenly die, having cats, and they suddenly died as well. But this time, it was finally empty, it looked like it did when you had first bought it. It looked like you kept it the same all these years.
You handed the key to your landlord, Britt, she was always fun and kept you company before Ellie, when you were depressed about your job, or anything really. It was hard seeing you go and you felt the same of course. She held you in the tightest hug and it felt like a stab in your heart. But you wanted this, so you weren’t really worried about how you’d feel in a few days.
Ellie waited for you in the car. When you got inside, you immediately noticed the constant smile on her face, she would try hiding it but you could tell, and god that made you feel so good.
It was a long month. From the wedding, to Joel dying, and now this, moving five hours from the city into a rural town where you two would be basically separated from everything, it was a lot. Now you were ready to get to your new home and nap it all off.
Jesse, Dina, Tommy, and Maria had all helped move us in throughout the week, and make things comfortable for us. Dina couldn’t get over the countryside and Jesse was irritated by her constantly whining to move closer to us as their baby, JJ, spilled his juice everywhere and made a mess. You were ready for them to leave. Reaching over to pull JJ away, from potentially making another huge mess, Dina calls you to the kitchen.
You were close to losing your temper but instead just ignored it, maybe Ellie will do something.
“Yea?”
“I love these counters, I have a friend if you guys ever need a renovator.” Dina told you as she took out something from the oven, your attention immediately going there.
“Yea I know, What’s that in the oven?”
“My special banana bread, so you can think of me when we leave.”
It was literally all you wanted right now.
“Thanks Dina. I’m going to miss you. And that baby of yours.”
As for Ellie, she had been fine, for the most part. She hadn’t completely opened up about how she was feeling but you knew it was passing by. Passing by as in, she was accepting that she’ll never talk to Joel again, not that she’s getting over it and forgetting about him- she’ll never forget him, it was her dad. There was a glow that sat beautifully on her face and it was the same glow she had when you two got married, when you two would be in each other’s presence. It seemed that was her way of telling you but not telling you either that she was content and you loved it.
Your head peaked out of the kitchen once again to look at Ellie, JJ and Jesse in the living room. Ellie had been playing with JJ and you couldn’t help but lose your train of thought. It was so cute when she did that.
Dina, Jesse, and JJ were finally leaving. You were going to miss your best friend as she wasn’t just down the street anymore, she was five hours away. Her baby was getting older, and soon it was time she would have to start paying full attention to him so the chances of regular communication were getting lower.
You couldn’t help but feel a little heartbroken.
After everyone left, you devoured the banana bread with a large cup of milk, leaning over the counter, nitpicking everything in your head about this house.
You remembered Ellie had been setting up her art room, it was a nice size and way better than the balcony at the apartment. You cleaned yourself up and walked to the room.
The door was slightly open and the room had been quiet, only Ellie’s humming being heard.
You knocked on the door.
“Come in.” Ellie said softly and you walked in. Shutting the door behind you, trying to not disturb the peacefulness.
“It’s late, do you want to come to bed?” You asked as you watched her draw yet another portrait of Joel.
She yawned and put down her pencil. She didn’t answer your question and instead walked over to you and hugged your waist while kissing down your soft neck. She pulled away, “Let’s go.” She stretched her long arm out for you as she opened the door, leading you to your new bedroom.
The bedroom was large, with a walk in closet, a bathroom and a beautiful large window that wasn’t covered with curtains for the purpose of the countryside view.
The room was obviously empty only with a bed that had pastel yellow sheets Maria had bought. You sat down on the bed as Ellie followed. She sat and watched you take off your pants leaving you only in your underwear and a slightly large shirt, Ellie had done the same only her top half was completely bare.
It was the middle of the night in the new house, the first night you two had slept there. It had a creepy feel to it. It was quiet and dark, the only light coming from the large window you had been facing. From the window where you had been lying down, you got a nice view of the farm and the night sky, and also an occasional few cars that would pass by.
It was so hot that you had been fighting with the blankets all night, whether they should be on or off. Looking over at Ellie, she had seemed to be sleeping like a baby. You continue to look at the window while laying down, eyes wandering all over the place. The time was 2:00 a.m. It was going to be a long night.
Sweat begins forming on your back, causing you to pull your shirt off, now only in your undergarments.
“I’m going to go look for a fan. I think he had one in the attic.” Ellie just randomly blurs out causing you to look at her, startled.
“Please, baby it’s so hot.” You say as you lean over to the small chair beside the bed and grab the water bottle, desperately chugging it again. As you did that, Ellie leaves to look for a fan.
What had felt like forever, Ellie finally arrives with a fan. It was a decent size and was perfect. As Ellie plugs it in, you unclip your bra and let all of the cool air hit you before lying back in the bed, covering yourself with the blanket.
You hear Ellie rumbling into bed, a lot closer than before, wrapping her arm around your body, pulling you closer. It felt so nice to have her this close, as she really hadn’t been willing to for a few months. Also with the heat, you’d just hate being that close.
Ellie takes her warm and soft lips, and presses it on your neck. Kissing you up and down, you closed your eyes hoping she wasn’t just giving you a goodnights kiss but wanted more.
You pull your blanket down from your face to show her your exposed breasts, ready to be caressed and sucked on (lmfao idk how else to say it).
She looks at you with a slight smile before kissing your temple. “Please..” You whisper, grabbing her head with both of your hands, she knew exactly what you wanted. You adjusted your position, lying on your back, waiting for Ellie to slip under the sheet.
Ellie and you hadn’t been together like this in a while, considering everything she’s been through and the missed honeymoon. You can see it on Ellie’s face, she felt so good at this moment. Her face was lit up and the light coming from the night sky reflected on her face.
Ellie kissing down your neck, you move your hand over to caress her soft, slightly greasy hair. Pressing a kiss to her forehead, you whisper, “I love you.” She breaks the kiss, whispering the same back to you before continuing to kiss, getting lower with each one.
At this point, you both knew exactly where this was going, it was one of Ellie’s favorite ways to make you smile. You spread your legs a bit further, allowing Ellie to have some space. You desperately throw the blanket off of the both of you to be able to see her. Her strong hands hold down both of your legs, her eyes lock with yours as she begins licking you right where you wanted her to. Your eyes begin to look drowsy as Ellie begins to pick up the pace. As you moan loudly, you notice Ellie smiling at you making your sounds every once and a while. Seeing her do that made you want more, you loved seeing her that way. You throw your head back into the fluffy, white pillow, grabbing onto anything that was in your region as Ellie relentlessly pleased you with her wet, warm tongue.
you were a mess and by the time you were able to let it all out over Ellie’s sweaty face, you were covered in your own sweat, sitting up on elbows, looking at Ellie get up and move towards you.
Ellie grabbed the blanket nearby and covered you and herself up. You immediately wrap your body around hers, pressing light kisses to her face.
“I forgot how much I love doing that.” Ellie says as you slowly begin to open your eyes.
You propped your head up on your elbow, leaning into Ellie more, caressing your hard, short nails up and down her back. “It looked like you really needed that.”
“Yeah, I think us moving into this house, and getting to do that, makes me feel better.” Ellie struggled to say but it was genuine and you knew she’d be back on her feet again in about another week.
You didn’t know what to say, Ellie’s smile forming on her face effortlessly put you in awe and it left you there once again, staring at her because sometimes that’s all you could do. She appreciated it either way.
.
Imagine, JiHo during her 'hiatus' had a notebook to write everything she was feeling, and the thoughts she had about herself. One day she's going over it (idk reasons), and she absentmindedly left it out in the open. Cue, one of the members (Haechan) finding it, and thus insues worry, questions, and a possible intervintion.
okay this ones kinda weird because this is purely an “imagine” aka this did not actually happen, because I’m already working on an angst that pretty much goes into the same kinda stuff, BUT enjoy!
Warning: strong language (like 2 swear words near the end)
"What did you want again?" JiHo asked on her way to the door, grabbing her wallet that was placed on the kitchen counter. "Just some Cola and those potato chips you brought last time." Haechan yelled from his comfortable position on JiHo's couch. That couch had honestly become his favourite place to sleep recently, somehow it felt more comfortable than his own bed. "Esteem must be loaded for giving her this nice of a couch." He whispered to himself while caressing the couch that must of cost several million won.
Just a few seconds after the front door shut, the door to the bathroom opened and Renjun walked back into the living room. "She just left." Jeno smiled, already knowing what Renjun was about to ask.
Wordlessly the Chinese boy settled down next to Jeno who had turned his focus back on his phone. "I still can't believe she's just like... here. You know?" A chuckle left Chenle's lips from where he sat at the kitchen counter. "Where else would she be? Space?" Renjun was not amused by his comment in the slightest, sending him a scowl.
"I mean this apartment. It's really nice and all, but... I don't know, I liked it better when she stayed at the dorms." Jeno and Chenle hummed in agreement, but when Renjun didn't hear anything from Haechan he turned his head to the boy. "What are you doing?"
Haechan had let himself slip from the couch onto the floor, now sitting on the floor in front of the coffee table. "Haechan- Yah! What do you think you're doing?" Renjun's eyes widened as he watched Haechan flip through a notebook - one that definitely did not belong to him. "JiHo said she had been writing lyrics, do you think it's in here?"
Curiosity peaked, Chenle jumped up from his chair and hurriedly walked to the boys. "Whether it's in there or not, you can't just go through her notebook. It's private!" Renjun scolded, reaching out to grab said item, but Haechan pulled away before he could. "Don't worry, JiHo never told me off for stuff like this. Besides, most of this is in French and English, I couldn't even understand if I tried." "Then stop reading-" "Hyung!" Chenle ripped the notebook out of Haechan's hands pointing towards a page that peaked his interest. "This is the lyrics to her song 'Villain'."
A cocky smile formed on Haechan's lips as he took back the notebook and eyed Renjun. "See, it's just lyrics." Renjun just scoffed and decided against saying anything else. "Oh this page says Dream! Do you think JiHo wrote a song for us?" Chenle asked and Haechan nodded. "Possibly, I can't understand it though, it's in French."
A sigh escaped the youngest's lips and he moved to sit on the couch. Renjun then went on scolding the two boys, saying how it was wrong for them to snoop through JiHo's stuff, even if she normally said that it was "fine" for them to do so. They didn't get consent for it this time.
"And why are you still reading?" Renjun rolled his eyes, seeing that Haechan was still holding the notebook. Soon enough though, Renjun's expression turned into a frown as he mirrored Haechan's. "What?" Jeno asked confused.
Haechan just dismissed them with a wave of his hand, but continued on reading. The three boys on the couch just stared at each other in confusion while waiting for Haechan to elaborate yet his eyes just stayed trained on the notebook.
"Guys! I got what you asked for so let's-” JiHo stopped in the middle of her sentence as she noticed the boys’ unusual behaviour. Her four friends were all sat on the couch, just staring at nothing, frowns decorating all of their faces. “What’s up with you guys?”
JiHo placed the plastic bag with treats from the convenience store on the coffee table and sat down between Haechan and Chenle. An uneasy chuckle left her lips.
Haechan was the first to speak. He pointed towards the notebook on the table, the pages it was left open on all too familiar. “Guys...” “ 'I talked to Renjun about leaving to visit my family and maybe never coming back, maybe I should do that'? What do you mean 'leaving'? Why?" JiHo couldn’t seem to look Haechan in the eyes. As JiHo listened to Haechan recite the words she wrote almost 2 months ago, she felt her stomach drop.
“I didn’t know you’d seriously reconsider it.” Renjun confessed, the sadness in his tone not going unnoticed. “And all those other things you wrote... Did you mean it? Do you hate it here that much?” Jeno asked.
The questions just continue to flow from the boys’ lips, but JiHo didn’t answer any of them. “Yah!” A sudden yell erupted from Haechan’s lips, causing all four of his friends to get startled. “First you move out of the dorm and now you want to move to the whole other side of them world?!” He spat and JiHo could feel tears stinging in the back of her eyes. “Haechan!” Jeno hissed. “It wasn’t JiHo’s choice to move out of the dorm.”
The brown haired boy ran his tongue against the inside of his cheek before letting out a scoff. “Why aren’t you talking huh?! After all we’ve done, you just want to run off to France? Do we not mean anything to you-” “Fuck you!” JiHo yelled, standing up quickly. However she regretted it as she felt a a surge of pain in her running up to her head.
Everyone just stared in shock with wide eyes focused on the girl. Her body started to tremble slightly, but with every second the trembling started to become more violent. “How could you say t-that when you’re all... you’re all that I have?” She stuttered while trying to swallow all the voice cracks. Tears started to pour down her cheeks as if her eyes opened the floodgates.
It was silent for a few seconds until Haechan stood up, flinging his arms around the girl. His left hand pulling her close by her waist, while the other caressed her hair. “I’m so sorry JiHo. I’m so fucking sorry.” He whispered in her ear as he tried his best not to cry as well.
After a while, once he found that JiHo wasn’t shaking as much, he pulled her down on the couch. When she instantly pulled her legs to her chest and pushed her head into the crook of his neck, Haechan let out a deep sigh and tried to pull her as close to his body as possible.
Chenle, who was sat on the other side of JiHo, moved in closer and rested his head against her shoulder. His left hand running along her side trying to comfort her. As for Renjun and Jeno, they also made their way closer to the three of them. Renjun resting his head on Haechan’s free shoulder and keeping his eyes on JiHo. Jeno sat next to him and reached out for JiHo’s hand, which she gripped almost uncomfortably tight, but as soon as Jeno ran his finger against the back of her hand she relaxed her grip.
“Please never leave us.” Chenle said in a broken whisper, earning a few painful sobs from the girl. “I’m sorry for being such a jerk JiHo. I just... I don’t want you to leave us either. I got emotional and upset.” Haechan said.
When JiHo lifted her head to look up at her friends, Haechan’s heart instantly broke. He had only seen JiHo like this a handful of times now, and knowing that half of those times had been this year only made him realise how she must have been having such a hard time.
His hand immediately flew up to move some stray strands of hair behind her ear. “I don’t like it when you yell at me like that.” She sniffled between a few sad chuckles. “I’m so sorry.” Haechan tried to stay strong, her really did. But with Renjun burying his tear stained face into his shoulder, hearing Chenle try to hide his sniffles, seeing Jeno’s deadly grip on JiHo’s hand and seeing JiHo’s pained smile, he couldn’t stop the tears fall from his own glazed over eyes.
“We love you JiHo, don’t forget that.” JiHo tried to show Haechan her best smile before she tucked her head back underneath his chin. “I love you guys too.” She mumbled into Haechan’s neck. “No.” The four boys looked at her confused but she didn’t move from her position.
“I need you guys.”
Side note: ANON WHO ASKED THIS! idk if you're the same anon who sent the last "imagine" post (the one with walking home alone after an award show), but I LOVE YOU! Idk but for some reason this one as well as the last ask were both things that I was already somewhat planning to write or at least thought about or were vaguely the same theme I wanted to write about, so thank you for sending this ask. <3
No flirting
Sam Wilson x Bucky's relative!reader
Description: Out of timeline! Reader is Bucky's great niece (his sister's granddaughter) who he found when he got to NY. She is staying in the tower for a week or so to take a sort of vacation. While she is there, she meets a certain flying man of the south and she starts to fall for him, much to her uncle's dismay.
Warnings: fluff? Sort of old fashioned Bucky, maybe a little ooc sam? I tried but idk if it went okay. This is awful writing, it was late and I don’t know how to write dialogue!
Word count- about 3000
MASTERLIST
You pulled into the parking garage of the avenger tower with a smile on your face. It had been a couple weeks since you had seen your uncle, well your grand uncle, because he had been off on a mission with Steve and the Falcon. You'd never met Sam Wilson before, only hearing about him from Bucky and Steve, but you figured he had to be pretty great to be an avenger.
You got your bag out of the trunk after you parked and began to make your way to the elevator. You had a room that remained pretty empty when you weren't there. Because of your closeness with most of the team, it had been offered to you permanently. You declined in favor of having your own place in Brooklyn and just staying at the tower whenever you needed a break from work or your friends or something. You waited patiently for the elevator doors to open on the right floor excitedly, knowing FRIDAY probably alerted Bucky you were on you way up. Your suspicions were confirmed when you were tackled in a pile of super solider as Steve and Bucky hugged you tightly. Steve had become family as well to you, just as much as Bucky was. You loved them both very much but at the moment they were squeezing the life out of you.
"Excuse me, I am a non enhanced person." You gasped out "I need air please."
At this they let you go, dopey grins on their faces.
"How is my favorite niece?" Bucky asked with a smile on his face, knowing it bothered you a little bit. You saw him as more of a friend than an uncle so being reminded that he was related to you and also was 100 and something years old was a little exhausting.
"Oh shove off. I'm great but I'd love some help getting this to my room?" You hinted while lifting your large bag.
Steve didn't hesitate to pick it up, absolutely no sign of effort on his face as he did so which frustrated you to no end.
"Thank you Steve" you chirped as he smiled kindly back at you and the three of you began to make your way to the room you would be occupying for the next week.
"So how's your mom?" Bucky questioned genuinely.
"You mean your actual niece? She's good, struggling to enjoy retirement at the moment." You smiled at the mention of your mom.
"I would have thought she would be enjoying it. Teaching always seemed like an exhausting job to me." He mentioned.
You agreed but then remembered "Says you, you've been on the job for over 80 years."
He gave you a side glare and then grumbled, "Touché"
You had arrived at your room, it was just the same as the last time you saw it besides the sheets having been changed, the room vacuumed, and the bed made. You smiled lightly. Tony was as softhearted as they come.
Steve put your bag down and they looked at you waiting for you to do something.
"Well come on! I wanna go say hi to the team!" You gushed as you grabbed their hands and started hurrying towards the living room of the floor where you knew most of the team members would be found on any given day.
As you walked in you heard multiple squeals and you were hugged by two redheads. Natasha and Wanda both loved you as you were about their age and were a little less jarring than most of the men they spent the day with. "I missed you guys." You whispered to them as the hugged you, Bucky and Steve having moved off to the couch to chat while you caught up with everyone.
"You missed us?! We have so much to tell you! What has taken you so long to come back here?!" Wanda whined a little.
"Buck wasn't around for the last couple weeks, he was away!"
"So? We are here and you're welcome any time, you know that!" Nat scolded. You knew she was right but you didn't want to intrude.
"You could never intrude." Wanda responded and you glared that she read your mind. She gave an apologetic look but you knew it was mostly fake. You were then pulled away from them by a rather large hand, when you turned around you saw the blond god who you were so fond of.
"Lady Y/N! How great to see you! So glad I was here when you were visiting." He said merrily. You wrapped him in a hug, it was a rare occasion that he was actually here when you stopped by. Other than them there was only one other person in the room, someone you presumed to be Sam Wilson. He was smiling at you already, waiting his turn to introduce himself. When you pulled away from Thor he walked over and you took a moment to admire him. He was tall and strong looking but his eyes were gentle and he looked like he gave good hugs and made people laugh. He stuck his hand out to you.
"Y/N, right? I'm Sam." He smiled. You smiled right back and shook his hand.
"No no no, no flirting." Bucky called from the couch, glaring daggers at Sam in front of you, your hand still holding onto his as you both looked over.
"Buck I didn't even do anything!" You whined, slightly embarrassed as you blushed. Sam noticed and just smiled again but let go of your hand.
"So you’re the Bionic Man's niece, yeah?" You smiled and nodded.
"Great niece, technically. My grandma is his little sister." You smiled and Bucky groaned.
"God that makes me sound so old."
"That's cause you are old!" You countered and Bucky just grumbled under his breath something about how he could still kick it with the kids.
You made eye contact with Sam again but looked away shyly and moved toward the kitchen in the common area to get yourself a cup of water. The conversation around the room buzzed and the only person who wasn't occupied was Sam as he followed you over to the kitchen.
"A shame I haven't met you before, I’ve been missing out." He smirked. He seemed a little cocky but you didn't mind. In fact you found it kind of attractive as it complimented your shy personality pretty well.
"Well don't worry I've heard all about you, Bird-Man. My relative has a grudge." You smirked as you sipped your water.
Sam rolled his eyes, "Oh he's just grumpy cause I can beat him in a fight."
"That sounds about right. I can't imagine what else he could be holding against you."
"Pretty soon he's gonna be mad at me for trying to flirt with his niece but I don't think I care much." He smirked.
Your eyes widened but you couldn't hide the smile he gave you very well.
"Oh Sam, I think he would kill us both."
"A worthwhile death." He continued.
"You're gonna have to step up your game then cause from where I'm standing, I don't wanna piss of my uncle with a vibranium arm over just anything." You challenged, wanting to see if he was serious. He smirked at you.
"Challenge accepted." He said and then he didn't leave your side for the rest of the day. This was much to the frustration of Bucky but you were an adult and he had other things he had to do anyway so he left it be besides the constant glare at the man who always seemed to be beside you. He followed you around like a lost puppy as you said hello to the avengers you hadn't seen yet, including meeting Peter for the first time. By the end of the night he was already through your shell and you were conversing with him with no effort. You could feel that this was not going to go well later but you couldn't help yourself.
"You know I'll take you up in that flying lesson sometime, sounds like fun to me." You smiled at him and he beamed back.
"That's why I offered it, I'd love an excuse to spend some more time with you."
"You don't need an excuse, you know. You could just hang out with me." You blushed and he did a little bit too. Without another word you headed to the room he had just walked you to and opened the door.
As soon as you closed it you smiled giddily and slid down the door, you could see Wanda and Nat talking to each other before looking at you. You had planned to have a sleepover the first night you were back and they had been waiting for you for like a half hour.
"Spill!" They both shouted at the same time.
You grinned before telling them about how Sam was being so sweet to you and that you were starting to get feelings for him.
"But it's only been a day, why do I already feel like this?!" You complained
"Y/N, he's been all over you all day, I'm sure he's in the same boat!" Wanda pulled you up from your spot on the floor and brought you over to the couch in your room.
"Yeah he's been following you around with puppy dog eyes. And it's really starting to piss off bucky too, as if they need another thing to hate each other over." Nat sighed.
You felt doubt start to creep in, Bucky was your family and you didn't want to go against his wishes. But Sam was so sweet and arrogant at the same time and the thought of him made your heart pick up speed.
"I'm not gonna act on it yet. I don't wanna make Buck upset over nothing. I'll wait till the end of the week and if it's still a thing I might consider talking to Sam about maybe going on a date." You said, getting quieter and quieter with every word. Both girls yelled out their excitement and began planning your outfits and actions for the next week so you could "keep him interested" in you. You went to bed exhausted but ready to take on the week of figuring out if your chemistry with the superhero was real.
The next week was torturous. Sam was just as flirtatious as he had been the first day and he got bolder and bolder as the week went on. He had asked you out a number of times, each time you responded with some non answer to try to buy more time. Bucky was getting progressively more frustrated about the flirting between you two until day 5 of your stay.
You and Sam were watching a movie together, you told yourself it was just as friends. You were on opposite ends of a couch and you could feel yourself getting more and more tired. Eventually you fell asleep during the movie and Bucky happened to walk by as you did. Sam noticed you asleep and smiled at the sight before he wrapped you in a blanket. Bucky sighed quietly and made his way to the kitchen to get water, not having been noticed by Sam yet who was too occupied with you. As Sam lifted you off the couch and began to carry you to your room, Bucky found it harder and harder to believe that the mans intentions were anything but pure. And he had never seen you so smitten. He begrudgingly decided he would not stand in the way of you two and he might even have to convince you to ask Sam out if you kept up the shy act.
The next day you awoke in your room. Not knowing how you got there you looked around. You remembered falling asleep on the couch while you were watching something with Sam. There was a note on your nightstand so you reached over to pick it up, heart rate increasing as you read the note.
"Didn't want to wake you, I hoped you slept well
- Bird Man"
You smiled as you read the note and began to make your way out of bed. You noticed there were socks on your feet even though you were sure you hadn't put them on. You almost got lightheaded at the realization that Sam put socks on you feet last night before you went to bed so that you wouldn't get cold in the night. The thought made you blush at how domestic it was but you wanted to thank him. You made your way down the hallway, still in your pajamas pants and hoodie you'd worn last night and you knew your hair was a mess. Still when you got to the kitchen and made eye contact with sam, his eyes brightened a bit and a smile came across his face.
"Thanks for getting me to my room last night." You blushed shyly. You could feel your heart going faster and faster as you looked down at your socks.
"I would happily do that every night if it meant I got to take you out on a date." He smiled, already expecting you to avoid the implication again. You smiled at him and then glanced over at Bucky who was already looking at you. He winked and nodded and you knew what he meant.
You made eye contact with Sam, "Tomorrow night at 7, you can take me to dinner." You said while looking into your mug of coffee you had just poured. You looked up at Sam to see his reaction as his face fell neutral before he grinned. He quickly corrected his face too look like he was less excited.
"I knew I'd get you to crack eventually" he pointed out. You rolled your eyes before turning to walk toward the couch.
"I can take it back" you began before he interrupted you.
"No no, no need to do that, I have a great place in mind for dinner." He quickly said and you just smiled up at him lightly. The rest of the day was spent daydreaming about your date tomorrow.
The next night you were getting ready for your date, you had a flattering dress on and had your makeup done up, just finishing before there was a knock on your door. You checked the time and sure enough it was 7:00 sharp.
You mentally prepared yourself and took a deep breath before opening the door to reveal a fidgety Sam Wilson. The sight made you laugh a bit as he had never looked so nervous. It made you feel a bit better that he was nervous too. You took a moment to look each other over. Sam's eyes drifted south until he reached your legs and then back up to your lips. His eyes stayed there for a second before moving back up to your eyes. You had just finished gazing over his built frame that was squeezed perfectly into his suit. You nearly swooned. He had a bouquet of your favorite flowers ready which you shyly took and put into a vase in your room, thanking him quietly. There was a single moment of nerves before you broke the silence.
"You look very handsome." You smiled as you made eye contact with him, your hands fidgeting.
"I can't even believe I managed to get a date with a girl as pretty as you." Sam smirked before offering his elbow to you, which you promptly took. When you reached the elevator you both saw Bucky standing there with his arms crossed.
"Have her back by 10:30. No funny business." He glared at Sam before looking at you. "Have fun sweetheart, you know how to throw a punch if you need to." He smiled at you as Sam gulped. You gave Bucky a peck on the cheek before you and Sam both entered the elevator and it was on it's way down.
You ended up having dinner at Sam's favorite southern food restaurant in the city. More specifically, Louisiana barbecue. You loved the food and you didn't even feel pressure to eat pretty as you and Sam were having such a good time. You both were wildly overdressed but that was part of the fun. He payed for dinner and you promised to get the next one which had him smiling like a fool cause it meant you would go on another date with him.
After dinner he took you out to a dancing bar, but it wasn't fast paced or gross like many seemed to be in the city. Instead they played slower songs and it was less loud. You were grinning ear to ear as you slowly danced together, pressed together as close as you could be. At about 10:00 you began to head back to the tower. You decided to walk there because you didn't want to get home too fast and it was such a nice night out. You had never felt safer than with Sam at your side either.
When you made it back up you the residential floor of the tower, you saw Bucky sitting in the common space with a glare on. He made eye contact with you and when you smiled at him he winked and made his way to bed, not missing a chance to glower at Sam on his way by. You could feel Sam growing nervous next to you as he walked you back to your room. You turned around to face him and his hands were fidgeting. You took a deep breath to gather your courage before leaning up to him and kissing him deeply. He responded immediately and wrapped one of his hands around the back of your neck. You kissed until you had to come away to breathe and you both made eye contact. He smiled at the event that just happened and he took your hand in his before kissing it.
"I think that was the best date I've ever been on." He smiled.
"Well you're gonna have to top it next time." You smirked. He looked back at you and had a faraway look in his eyes. You said your goodbyes and you went to bed with cheeks that hurt from smiling so much.
He did indeed top it next time, and every date after that.
Misplaced Promises
Tumblr media
Eddie Diaz x Sister!Reader
Warnings: sibling arguing, general protectiveness, a few swear words and that’s it I think ?
Category: angst/fluff
Word Count: 3.6k
Author’s Note: This one mostly focuses how Eddie tries his best to keep promises he makes and be a good brother but he keeps fucking up. I also tried my best for this to follow a timeline and make it make sense with canon but idk, I made shit up go with it. //
----
14 years old // 19 years old.
The 2 of you were 5 years apart but you were attached at the hip. Eddie was your big brother, the guy you looked up to the most, the person you went to when you didn’t know what to do. You had 2 sisters but what you and Eddie had was different. Sophia and Adriana were the two older ones, they stuck together and they included you but it wasn't the same.
The day before Eddie announced that he enlisted, he had been quiet, shifty and weird all day. He avoided you at all costs. You needed him to look over a project for you - seeing that you ended up with the same English teacher he had in high school but he kept coming up with excuses as to why he couldn't help you.
“Running to the store to pick up something for mom, I'll check when I get back”
“Going to play some ball with the guys, remind me when I get back”
“Gonna shower, I'll do it after”
“Let me go see Shan for a bit, I'll check it when I come home”
Excuse after excuse, he was up to something and knew you would be able to tell so he ignored you at all costs. The next morning at breakfast, he announced that he was enlisting, Shannon was at breakfast too and she didn’t seem shocked at all.
Your father asked him why, your mother began crying and your sisters wished him good luck and hoped that he would be safe. You on the other hand, had your eyes glued to Shannon.
“You knew?” your question directed straight at her.
She nodded, “he told me last night”
“Huh,” you scoff, getting up. “you told her before you told us ?” looking towards your brother.
“y/n, don’t” his look pleading you not to start and you didn’t, simply walking away and going to your bedroom. You can hear bits of the conversation from your room, Eddie telling your parents that he’s only going to do one tour just until he finds what he really wants to do.
It was a while before someone came looking for you and no surprise, it was Eddie.
“Can I check the paper for you now?” he sticks his head in from the doorway, waiting for your answer- his way of hoping that you’d talk to him.
“Sure” nodding toward the computer on the desk. Eddie made himself comfortable in the chair and began going over the paper. The keyboard clicking as he edited the paper and your sighing were the only sounds to be heard.
Everyone had been dealing with the news differently. Your father had turned to whatever project he was building in the backyard, your mother had stepped out- probably to go to the store to get stuff to make one last proper meal for him before he left and your sisters seemed to be handling it well, you could hear them bickering in the hallway over who would get his room as they passed by.
It’s not that they didn’t love him, they just had a different version of the world and of love.
The whole family did.
Sophia and Adriana were the first two, all the love and support of your parents was what they basked in.
Eddie was the only boy, automatically gaining him an in as a mama’s boy and his father’s only son, someone to show off- he was their pride and joy.
That left you, not that they loved you any less because they ‘love all their children the same’ but you never got the parental love and affection that your siblings did. Your parents were busy working and now that you were in high school and capable of looking after yourself, you saw them even less. Eddie had always been there, at the recitals, school concerts, whenever you learnt a new trick and was looking for someone to show, he was there.
In some way, Eddie raised you more than your parents did.
That’s why you couldn’t wrap your head around it.
“Couldn't just find a job here like every other lost kid after high school ? You had to go sign up to get yourself killed?” sitting up, you look towards him.
Eddie sighed, leaning back into the chair and looking at you. He looked sad, almost hurt. “I didn’t ‘sign up to get myself killed’” he tells you, “I can’t sit around watching Soph and Adriana get their lives together meanwhile I'm still living with mom and dad and I have no idea what to do”
“So what? you take a little longer to get your life together, that’s not the end of the world.”
“I’m supposed to know what I want to do, I've been out of high school for a year and a half. Most people have already moved out of their parents’ houses”
“God you’re so stupid” you groan, falling back onto the bed.
“Excuse me?” he looks at you, obviously offended. You get up off the end, pacing the room for a moment, trying to gather your thoughts.
“Just because you’re lost doesn't mean you sign up for the fricking army! Eddie, you could die” your voice breaks at the end of the sentence. Then and only then did Eddie really see how upset you were, you really thought he could die- yes there was that possibility but he knew that when he signed up. He gets up off the chair, you were now facing the window, not wanting him to see the tears that were forming. His hand resting gently on your shoulder.
“I’m not gonna die” he whispers, pulling your shoulder towards him which caused you to turn. “You better not, I'll kill you”
“But I'll be de-” “shut up” you give him a look, he chuckles and pulls you in for a hug. “I promise I'll come home, who else is going to keep you in check?” he teased which earned him a smack to the side, “more like who’s gonna keep you in check” you rebutted, a smile on your face now. Eddie kissed the top of your head, his cheek now resting atop of head - abuela’s words ringing in his head.
“Don’t make promises you can't keep Edmundo”
She had scolded him for promising to give his sister her candy back after he knew he was going to eat it (and he did, but that’s besides the point)
He promised to come home but he didn’t know if he would.
17 years old // 22 years old
“We’re having a baby!” Eddie’s arm around Shannon as they announce the second piece of exciting news for that evening to the family.
Eddie had finally returned from his first tour with the announcement that he and Shannon were getting married all while they were expecting as well. Your parents were the first up to go congratulate the love birds, your sisters are next and you follow last. Hugging Shannon who was already beaming with happiness and then your brother who hugs you for a second longer than needed, whispering that he wants to talk to you afterwards. Humming, you step back and go to help your mother set up for dinner.
The rest of the evening is spent talking about when the baby is arriving, the plans for the wedding and whatever other exciting things are happening for them at that moment. You tuned out about halfway through the conversation, only replying with the simplest answers to make it seem like you were actually listening.
Your sisters, mother and Shannon were in the kitchen all gossiping and making plans for the wedding. A big church wedding, ‘do it right’ as your mother would say because ‘if you do it right the first time, you don’t need to do it again.’
The whole big wedding thing was a scam- a pile of bullshit that you wanted no part of. Don’t let that fool you, you were beyond happy for your brother, becoming a husband and a father- those were things the two of you used to joke about, thinking that it was such a long time from then yet here you are.
The door slammed as it shut, Eddie sitting beside you on the porch. He set a bottle on the step beside you. You glance at the bottle and then at him, brows furrowed.
“Thought you could use a drink after all the exciting news” he hums, taking a sip out of his own bottle.
You let out a dry chuckle, taking a sip yourself. “Yeah, congrats dude. Husband and baby daddy in one go ? You got the guys around here beat” jokingly nudging him with your shoulder. Eddie laughs, “yeah.” the word kind of trailed off, there was more to the answer than he was letting on.
“What's wrong ?”
“Are you really happy for me ?” he turns to you, “I know you weren't exactly happy when I left, especially that I told Shannon first. I just.. you’re my little sister and it means so much that you’re on board with everything-” your hand rests on his.
“You always were kind of an idiot huh?” you pat his hand, Eddie looking clearly offended again. “Of course I'm happy for you. You’re my brother and no matter how much we fight, there’s no way I wouldn't be there for you. Eddie, you’re going to be an amazing dad, you know that right ?”
“Yeah ? You think so ?”
“Mhm hm, know how I know?”
“Do tell”
“Because you raised me and I turned out just fine” you smiled and so did Eddie, shaking his head.
--
23 years old // 28 years old
Eddie’s place was covered in boxes, the fight with your parents was the last button to be pushed. He packed up the remnants of his life in El Paso and was on his way out to the door.
Christopher was sitting on the couch, his favourite show on tv as you were packing up the last of the dishes in the kitchen. Eddie had just stepped back in after taking some boxes out to the truck. You leant against the counter, looking at him. He knew you weren't the biggest fan of his plan but you supported him nonetheless because that’s what siblings do.
“What? Why do you keep staring ?” he snapped.
“Jesus, who pissed in your coffee?” rolling your eyes at your brother.
“Sorry, I'm just ready to get out of here” he tosses a few things into a box. There had been unspoken words between the two of you since he mentioned that he wanted to move. You didn’t say anything, just listened and helped pack boxes but all of that stops now.
“Are you sure this is the smartest thing?”
“What do you mean?” he stops what he was doing and turns his attention to you.
“I know mom and dad were in the wrong for asking- telling you that Chris should move in with them, that’s bullshit. He’s not their kid, he’s your kid but why are you running Eddie ? You have family there besides them, Sophia and Adriana and me. I’m here Eddie, I've always been here, helping you with Chris since Shannon left.”
“That’s exactly the point, Shannon left. She upped and left us y/n, left me to raise Chris by myself.”
“So did you.” you tell him what you had been waiting to tell him since Christoper was a baby.
“What the hell are you talking about?” the anger visible on his face.
“You left. You upped and left Shannon when she needed you the most, she needed a partner that was here and not thousands of miles away. She just had a baby- your baby and you left her to go to the fucking desert! you risked your life for what ?! you had a family Eddie! You promised just one tour but you just had to go back, you had a family that needed you!”
“Exactly! I had a family that needed me! That’s why I left, I had to provide for them.”
“Don’t give me that shit. You wanna know why mom and dad walk all over you when it comes to raising Chris ? Because you left! You fucking left when the mother of your child, your wife and your child needed you! He needed a father and you left Eddie! Do you know what that does to a child?!”
“Don’t tell me how to raise my child and you sure as hell don't get a say in where my marriage went wrong!” the two of you stood in the kitchen shouting at each other.
The things you said were nothing but what you felt was the truth - he did leave Shannon after she had Chris, when she needed him to be there. You weren't siding with her but you weren't picking up for him either- someone had to let him straight and your parents would never dare say the things you would say to him. Although they didn’t like his approach to raising Christoper, they would never say that because Eddie was their son. They much rather half ass suggest things and beat around the bush than tell Eddie straight what they felt.
The rest of the night was quiet, nothing left to be said between the two of you. Tucking Chris into bed one last time before they leave, you spend the night because you promised Chris you’d be there when they left.
The morning comes and Eddie is quiet, no surprise there. Chris is attached to your hip and the 2 of you stood outside the house, saying goodbye. You crouch down in front of your nephew, “will you come visit?” he asks you sweetly, your heart breaks a little knowing that you won’t be visiting anytime soon but you put on a smile for him. “Of course, only if we stay up late and eat all the candy we can find” you tickle his side, earning a full belly laugh- your favourite sound.
“I love you always, you know that right ?” you look up at the little boy who's nodding. “I love you” he smiles, his finger tapping your nose, yours comes up to mirror his action.
“Okay, give me a big hug and you be good for your dad, he’s a good guy. He just bugs out sometimes” you hug Christoper, his arms wrapped around your neck as you pick him up, carrying him to the trunk.
Eddie comes out just as you’re putting Chris in. He hands you the keys to the house as he checks to make sure Chris is buckled in properly.
The two of you standing there awkwardly before Eddie mumbles bye and walks around the truck. Stepping back, you watch as they pull you, Christoper waving to you from the window.
25 years old // 30 years old
El Paso had treated you well, growing up there and going to school but you needed a change now. Applying to teaching jobs all over the country, you hear back from two- one is Minnesota and one in LA but you couldn't handle the cold so LA it was.
The staff at the school were sweet and welcoming, you had arrived just in time for the new school year. The woman at the front desk was asking you some standard questions when she came across your name on the form.
“Miss, is it l/n or Diaz for your last name ? You have both listed here” she looks to you for an answer. You stared at the paper in front of you- l/n was your mother’s last name and Diaz was your father’s. All your legal documents had Diaz on it but you weren’t sure if you wanted to go by it or not, maybe make something for yourself with the Diaz family name attached to you.
“Miss ?” She asked again, looking at you.
“Diaz. Y/n Diaz is fine”
Classes start and you’re getting settled in nicely, there’s still some shuffling around in terms of students and you get a finalized class list at the end of the week. Not really looking over it, you set it on the desk until the next morning when you say hello to your new class.
You begin writing your name on the board as the children set in.
Ms. Diaz in big bold letters.
“Hey! We have the same last name!” a little boy calls out- voice almost identical to your Chris’ voice.
Turning, there he was sitting n the middle of the class, your nephew Christopher - except no one knows he’s your nephew nor did he seem to remember that you were his aunt. 5 years without a phone call or a visit is a long time, you wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't remember you and he doesn’t. You treat him as you would treat the rest of your students.
The end of the day rolls around, Chris is the last student waiting with you. It was getting a bit chilly so the two of you headed into the classroom. Christoper tells you about his dad- unknowing to him that Eddie is your brother and talks about how he’s a firefighter and all the cool things he got to do when he visited the station.
A blonde man, tall and built in stature comes running into your classroom. “Chris! Buddy!” he heads over to the boy, giving him a hug. “Buck!” the boy smiles, returning the gesture. It was obvious that he knew Chris, the man noticed you watching them.
“Hi, I'm Ms. Diaz, y/n. Christopher’s teacher” you introduce yourself. The man smiles, “I'm Buck, I work with Christopher’s dad”
“He sent you to pick up Chris ?”
“Oh no, he's parking, I just came in to find him because we didn’t see anyone outside. Sorry about that, work ran late” he apologizes.
“No worries, Chris is a great kid. oh buddy, I was supposed to give you a sticker for your work today hold on” you leave Chris and Buck by the door as you go back to your desk, looking for a sticker sheet. When you returned, Eddie was there with Buck, both men had their backs turned to you.
“Yeah! She has the same last name as us dad, there is she” the boy smiled, waving at you. “Ms. Diaz!” he shouts as you make your way over. You don't look at the men instead you step past them, crouching down in front of Chris showing him the sticker sheet.
“Which one would you like?” showing him the sheet, Christopher picks out a little green star with a smiley face on it. Peeling it from the sheet, you stick it on his shirt.
“Can dad and Buck have matching ones too ?” he asks sweetly and who were you to turn down such a cute face.
“Of course,” smiling at him, you stand and turn to Buck. “Can I ?” he nods, watching as you repeat the process and stick the green star to his shirt.
When it comes Eddie’s turn, you can feel Buck’s eyes on you and you see him move to Eddie as well. As for Eddie himself, his eyes were wide, he hadn't spoken to you in almost 5 years and his parents refused to tell him anything other than ‘she’s fine’ when he asked. You didn’t ask him, you just stuck the sticker on him, on his forehead to be exact.
Eddie pulled you in for a hug, a well needed yet weird one. Buck and Chris are whispering behind the two of you.
“I’m sorry” Eddie whispers, his arms still around you.
“I’m the one that said all that shit” you tell him, he shakes his head and lets you go.
“You were right. I’m sorry. I know sorry isn't going to fix it but you’re here and I- I just wanna fix things. I miss my sister and I know Chris misses his aunt”
“Yeah, you’re an ass but you’re still my brother. I guess it wouldn’t hurt to try”
Buck goes “oh” behind you, you’re now standing beside Eddie- arms folded and brows furrowed, the same expression on both of you.
“Yeah, I see it now” Buck mumbles, “I’m starving, what’s for dinner ?” he asks, him and Chris walking towards the door together.
 You and Eddie follow them out, “why don't you join us for dinner ?” Eddie turns to you, you give him a look. “I can’t crash your time with your boyfriend, y’all are probably-” “my what ?” once again, Eddie had a stupid look on his face.
“So you’re telling me that wonderful human ball of joy isn't your boyfriend ?” looking at your brother, the stupid look still on his face.
“No, why would you think that ?” hearing the genuine confusion in his voice, you laugh.
“No reason, but if you’re not gonna date him, I might.” Giving your brother a smile, his head tilts and a look you know all too well on his face.
“Don’t” his finger pointed at you, you were now biting back a laugh.
“Hey Buck!” you shout, running towards him, Eddie running behind you and shouting for you to stop.
Things were going to fall back into place pretty easily.
#
Obsidian eyes look back at you, lulling you into a haze. Even with the blinding lights, they aren’t hard to miss. They’re so round and so dark and so shiny and so...
“Hey, you alive?” He asks, breaking you out of your thoughts.
“Yes,” you nod rapidly. “You have very pretty eyes,” you say, raising your hand to try and poke them, see if your finger will pierce through.
“Yah! I need those,” he says, grabbing your hand and keeping them at your side, a laugh escaping his lips.
“But they’re so round and so dark and so shiny and so…” you say dreamily. You feel lightheaded. Everything looks so fuzzy and faint.
He stops you again. He’s seen enough to know you’re completely out of it; you rarely compliment him, especially when it comes to his looks. That’s definitely a tell. “Alright, time to go.” He stands up and pulls your arm.
He stops on his tracks, thinking how this might look, not just to others but to you, even if you might not remember this in the morning.
Jungkook turns to the table on the far right of the bar and starts waving his arms. The next thing you know, Jaehyun is in front of you, mumbling about some heiress and that Jungkook is the only one sane enough to take your shit-faced, deadweight ass home. You trust this guy with your life so you let Jungkook lead the way.
And that’s the last thing you remember.
#
You wake up to the absolute worst headache of your life.
You think back to the night before and the annual New Year’s celebration you had with your friends. A little late due to the food poisoning fiasco last week, but at your favorite high-end bar (which you only go to because of the discounted, sometimes free, drinks; otherwise, your cheap ass would never), every week feels like the New Year.
It was that one night you allowed yourselves to let loose and have fun before you go back to being responsible adults for the rest of the year, most of the time at least. And you know, based on the constant pounding in your head and how disgusting you feel, you definitely had a good night.
It’s then you realize you’re shivering, blanket merely covering half of your body. Despite that, you feel nasty, sweat from last night’s dancing already dried up, the stench of alcohol stuck on your clothes, and god, is that drool?
You turn to your bedside table, a glass of water catching your attention, thankful for whoever brought you home last night - it was Jaehyun right?
You groan, however, for the aspirin that you didn’t see. He must’ve forgotten.
You proceed to take your clothes off, already moaning to the thought of a hot shower, freshly brewed coffee, and probably some sausage and eggs for breakfast - or lunch, whatever time it is.
Hair in a bun and clad in your mismatched laced underwear, you walk out of your room to chug more water and take the aspirin that Jaehyun definitely forgot to bring out for you. But as you do, you pause in your tracks. Something feels different.
There’s this sense that something's amiss as you try to figure out in which drawer you keep your medicines in and look around your little apartment. You grab a knife from one of them for good measure, ready to fight whoever or whatever faces you. You know it’s not Jaehyun, otherwise you would have woken up next to him, a common occurrence and non-issue for the both of you.
Your eyes scan the vicinity again, and then you see it - tall and chunky black boots sitting by your front door, and right when your eyes zero in on those unfamiliar looking items, you hear a creak and the sound of a doorknob turning.
You immediately hide in the corner of the kitchen counters, cursing yourself for the excess grocery you bought that’s stacked inside your floor cabinets that you now can’t hide in. The floorboards creak - you should’ve had them fixed last month - and you feel your heart race a million miles a minute, breath hitching at the sound of footsteps approaching you.
For some reason, you think to close your eyes - do you really wanna see your killer before you die? - and cover your mouth with your hand to keep any sound from escaping. At least you see this one coming, you think, and you at least have some lingerie on - there’s no Psycho shower killing scene happening today.
“Y/N…” you hear a low, raspy voice; not too close but not that far either. So you do something stupid, thinking your intruder is at a safe distance… unless they have a gun, of course.
You brace yourself and immediately stand, right hand with the knife and left fist formed, ready to fight. “Don’t you dare come any closer, I have a black belt in Taekwondo!” You shout.
“What the fuck, Y/N!” An alarmed voice shouts back at you.
You open your left eye, then your right, and you crouch down on the counter with one arm on your chest, panic and stress now slowly being replaced with relief that your intruder isn’t actually an intruder but just Jungkook.
Surely you would have recognized the signature black boots, right? But your head is still spinning and you don’t remember much from how last night ended. This isn’t the first time he’s come over but it’s definitely the first time he stayed over. Wait - he stayed over?
Your chest is still heaving; your mind is in a daze because you seriously thought you were going to die.
“Yah! Can you please drop the knife!”
It’s only then you realize you’re still pointing the knife towards him. You look up and you see the shock and fear in his eyes, and it registers to you the same time as it does to him. And you scream.
“What the fuck, Jungkook! Turn around now!”
He seems to snap out of his own daze, the panic in his eyes unmistakable. “Shit, I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize! Fuck fuck fuck!” He shouts and then runs to your couch, his back to you.
You head back to your room to slip on some clothes, steady your breathing, and give yourself a pep talk. “It’s okay,” you tell yourself. “You’re alive and well and you weren’t completely naked. You’re okay,” you repeat to yourself.
You check your phone and scroll through your friends’ group chat, photos of last night causing you to laugh at how fun and crazy it apparently was. One of the last messages was that of Jaehyun’s: “Y/N, Jungkook took you home, don’t freak out.” Well, too late bud.
You open the door to your living room and see Jungkook pacing back and forth. He jumps a little when he hears the floorboards creak and he turns to you.
“Look, Chae lost her car keys, Hyejin drunkenly proposed to Minho, you were drunk and Jaehyun hooked up with some girl so he gave me your house key but I couldn’t lock your door without taking the key with me and it felt weird and I…” he rambles, stopping when he sees you smiling at him. He looks so shy and nervous, nothing like the confident pop star you were partying with last night.
“I don’t want you to think I was, uh, you know…” he continues, hand scratching the back of his neck. “Planning something?” you finish for him. He nods.
“Jungkook, I had all my clothes on, I was sort of covered in a blanket, there was water prepared… you planned on taking care of me after being given the unwanted responsibility of taking my drunk ass home,” you say. You meet his eyes. “Thank you.”
You see him release the breath he’s been holding in, relief washing over him at your assurance that you knew all he wanted was to help you, not help himself.
There was a short silence. “So… A black belt in Taekwondo, huh?” He laughs.
“A lie, hence the knife.”
“Seriously, Y/N, and what would that do? You watch too many crime shows, you know that?”
“Hmm, guess I do.” You respond.
He flashes you his bunny smile. It’s a cute one, you think, the one where his nose scrunches up a little bit. You decide it’s now one of your favorite things, aside from his eyes, of course.
Pairing: Hwang Hyunjin x gn! reader
Genre: angst; hanahaki au, non idol au
Warning: language, mentions of cheating, tiny tiny spoilers & allusions to some of my other fics if you squint hard enough. Some elements of Felix x reader (purely platonic tho)
Note: this does NOT portray Stray Kids’ true personalities. This is all purely FICTIONAL
*this is one of my longest fics i’ve ever written so sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
(Based off of (G) i-dle’s “Dahlia)
(Page II)
Dahlia:
“Signifies a lasting bond and commitment between two people;
symbolizes elegance, inner strength , change, and dignity...”
Tumblr media
Hwang Hyunjin is bad news.
He’s a player, he’ll leave once he gets bored of you.
Hwang is no good for you. You deserve so much better, Y/n.
That was all you heard ever since you started dating Hyunjin. Different variations of it, all with the same connotation. People warned you, left and right, whenever they saw you two together. But you didn’t care, you choose to love him anyways, despite the rumors you’ve heard about him. It was all...
...Blind love. Sure, you fall in love fast, and every single time, you’ve been cheated on; but you knew that he was different, you could feel it. You had faith in Hyunjin.
Today was your one year anniversary. You sighed at the calendar hanging on your wall, a vase with a single dahila (given by Hyunjin a few weeks ago) sat on a table beside it.
“Did you know back then, lovers used to gift their beloved dahlias as a sign of everlasting love and commitment?” Hyunjin said with a pretty smile, holding a bouquet of a dozen dahlias.
“Oh really now?” you giggled, taking the bouquet into your hands. “Are you trying to tell me something?” You tilted your head, your eyebrows raised playfully.
“Hmm. Only that I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” he cheekily said. “And that I will love you, and only you, even for the our next 100 lifetimes.”
You writhed in giddiness, touched by his words. “I can’t wait then,” you said, planting a soft kiss onto his plump lips, the two of you smiling into the kiss.
That was a year ago; 3 months into your relationship, probably the happiest year you’ve ever had. Every day with Hyunjin felt magical, like it was too good to be true. He was nothing but gentle with you. He held your hand as if you were glass. His eyes stared into yours as if you had the shiniest of diamonds for eyes. His beautiful smile always made your heart flutter, but his kisses was what really did the job. You thought that you could never had enough of him. You were his princess and he’s your prince charming.
But little did you know that the magic will soon wear off...
Tumblr media
You stared at your phone in sheer disappointment.
Sorry, I can’t make it today. Something really important came up and I can’t miss it.
-was what was written on your screen, sent by your boyfriend. Bringing the phone closer to your face, you replied.
Really? You can’t skip it? Or even do it later?
Nope. Sorry, babe. There’s nothing I can do.
Oh...okay then.
Cheer up, babe. We’ll just go on a date on another day! I’ll make it up to you. Promise! :)
‘Go on a date on another day’ For some reason, reading that message shot a pang of hurt through your chest. To you, it basically implied that today was supposed to be just ‘another date’ for you guys.
Did he...forget that it’s our one year today? you thought sadly at the possibility as you put your phone down. Shaking your head, you tried to erase the negative thoughts from your mind. No no no, Hyunjin wouldn’t have forgotten. He was the one who even arranged the date! You held your cheeks in your hands. Sighing, you stood up to leave your bedroom to get a glass of water, feeling a heaviness to your chest. A million thoughts ran through your head as you made your way to the kitchen.
Is it possible that he really did forget?
Is he lying to me?
Am I just overthinking things again?
Or did he finally get...bored of me?
Looking back, you started to think about how lately, Hyunjin has been cancelling and rescheduling your dates. Every time you text him, asking him to come over, he’d reply with something along the line of “can’t i’m busy. sorry.” Of course you felt hurt, but you always told yourself, he’s a busy man. We don’t always have to be together.
And of course, you werent oblivious to how every month, the amount of dahlias Hyunjin used to give you slowly decreased. Once a dozen dahlias became only 8. 8 slowly became half a dozen. Then 6 became only 3. But you’ve convinced yourself that you didn’t need flowers to determine how in love you were, telling yourself how expensive live flowers actually are, so it makes sense he’ll end up giving less flowers. That’s it. That’s what you’ve conditioned your mind to think.
You’ve convinced yourself that Hyunjin truly is a good guy.
You didn’t even realize you were already in your kitchen until you felt yourself holding the cup to your mouth, the cool liquid making it’s way down your esophagus. You put the cup onto the counter, mindlessly staring at it. Maybe your were just overthinking things. That’s it.
Trudging back to the bedroom, you sat on the edge of your bed, sighing heavily, trying to contain the tears that were threatening to come out. Your lit up with a notification.
From Lixie Ramsay 🧑‍🍳🍽
Hey Y/n, are you feeling well?
Seeing a text from Felix, you grabbed your phone.
Not really. How’d you know??
Idk. I guess you can call it...best friend telepathy :D
You smiled, typing in another reply.
Well thank GOD for bsf telepathy cause I feel like shit rn.
Overthinking again?
Yes :(
Aww sorry to hear that dude :((
Wait. What happened with Hyunjin? Isn’t it your anniversary today?
Your heart ached at the message, the good mood you were slowly feeling again plummeted. Luckily, Felix noticed how long you were taking to reply to him.
Ah nvm... Anyways, I’m pretty much free rn so that meeaannnsss...I’ll take you out on a date instead!
Even though you were wallowing in misery, you couldn’t help but tease him.
You? Pass
How rude. And here I am being the greatest friend anyone could ask for, and you have the audacity to be picky?
Have fun with your pity party then, best friend
You sniggered at his reply. No no. I’m sorry I’m sorry, I’ll take up your offer LOL
Good. Be ready in about 20 mins. I’m coming over so we can go to the café together!
Okayyy :D
You got up and put on a nice, but comfortable outfit to go out in with your best friend.
Tumblr media
You were just sitting on your couch, awaiting for Felix’s arrival when you heard a knock on your door.
“Y/n! It’s meee~!” came his loud, deep voice. You chortled as you got up from your couch, making sure everything was secured before going to your door. You opened it to see Felix’s bright smile greeting you.
You giggled, opening the door wider. “‘Sup, bro,” you nodded your head. Felix returned the gesture.
“‘Sup. You ready?”
“Yup! Let’s go.” Before you could get out of your house, Felix stopped you.
“Wait wait! I have something for you!” he lightly pushed you back inside. Only then did you notice that he was holding a single sunflower in his left hand. Your eyes widened a little, confused.
“What’s this?” you asked.
“A sunflower!”
You rolled your eyes at him. “Duh, I know that, but what’s it for?”
Felix beamed. “Well, I knew that you were feeling sad today, and I heard from someone that sunflowers are known as “happy flowers”, so I thought that I should give you one! To cheer you up!”
You looked at the flower in awe, incredibly touched by his gesture. “Lix...” you trailed off, feeling happy tears beginning to prick your eyes. You took the sunflower from his hands and stared at it, already feeling the positive vibes radiating from it.
“I know, I know. I’m the bestest best friend anyone could ask for. Now let’s go! I’ve been dying to try the carrot cake in that new café a few blocks down!” Felix said, sliding his arm to yours, “I heard that they have one of the best carrot cakes in town.”
You looked up from the flower to look at him, grinning. “Thank you so much for this, dude. I really appreciate it.”
Felix shrugged with a small smile on his face. “It’s the least I could do. Really.” He waited for you as you locked your front door, arms still linked, then making your way to go to the café Felix has been dying to go to.
The two of you walked together, catching up on each other’s current events going on in your lives, seeing how you weren’t able to for the past two weeks. Right now, Felix was telling you about a certain crush he has in one of his classes.
“Ooh, so, have you tried asking them out? Or even just told them that you’re interested or something, in the very least?” you wiggled your eyebrows. In response, he sucked in his breath a little. His face contorted in a slight grimace.
“I...tried to...” He said with his teeth clenched. You looked at him in puzzled.
“What do you mean ‘tried to’, Lix?” you asked. “It’s either you did or you didn’t.”
Felix sighed in embarrassment, his mind wandering back to the memory. “I sorta might’ve accidentally revealed that I liked them but sorta might’ve got embarrassed and accidentally took it back?”
“What?” you deadpanned.
“Okay okay. It’s dumb. I know. But they were so SO cute just talking, TALKING, and it just slipped out, I guess!” he said, exasperatedly. “I really couldn’t help it! Honest! So, I just panicked and covered it up by saying ‘I’m so lucky to have a friend like you'”
You looked at him blankly, slowly unlinking your arms. “Oh no,” you sighed, slightly shaking your head. “Oh baby nooo...”
“Yeah. I’m pathetic, I know.”
You hummed in pity, patting his shoulder. “A little, yeah, but it’s okay. Things like that happen, unfortunately. Don’t worry though, it’s not like it’s the end of the world,” you grinned, “You’ll have a lot more chances to actually confess in the near future.”
Felix nodded, crooning. “You’re right, Y/n. Thanks,” he said, giving you a hug as he gave you his well-renowned sunshine-like smile that you couldn’t help but smile back.
“No problem.”
Topic after topic, the two of you were so immersed in your conversation that you guys arrived at the café.
“Finally!” you cheered. “That was a surprisingly long walk.”
Felix sighed. “For real. But on the bright side: carrot cake!”
“Is the carrot cake even that good?”
“Dunno. Only one way to find out!” Felix walked a few steps ahead of you to open the door for you when he suddenly stopped. His whole body went rigid. In a blink of an eye, he turned around, gently pushing you away from the building. “Darn. What a shame, it’s full today. Oh well,” he frantically stated.
You glanced back behind him to check the inside yourself, only to see that it was only half full.
“What’re you talking about? There’s totally enough space for us. Let’s go.”
Felix’s face was full of dread. His body was stiff, his eyes shook a little as he maintained eye contact with you. He was nervous, and you could tell.
“You’re not okay. Is there someone in there you wanna avoid?” you said in urgency.
“Uhm. You could say that,” he murmured, looking down. Looking back up to see if there were any shifty looking faces that were in desperate need of a beating, your heart dropped in horror and dispair. Through the window, you saw Hyunjin, your boyfriend, sitting with a pretty looking lady. You watched them with woeful eyes as they smiled and laugh with each other. You couldn’t believe it, you didn’t want to. You wanted to believe that this was all a misunderstanding. You only snapped out of it when you felt Felix’s small, warm hands.
“Let’s-uh- let’s just go, yeah?” he said quietly. Nodding mindlessly, you let him lead to somewhere else. Anywhere but here. Felix rubbed your back, trying to give you any kind of hug he could give you as you walked away. You tried your best to push back the cough making it’s way to your throat. Good thing Felix was guiding you the entire way, others you would’ve fallen due to your blurry eyesight.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered into your ear. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”
It’s okay. You have nothing to apologize for, is what you wanted to tell him. But you couldn’t, for if you do, you might end up breaking down in the middle of the streets. You breathed heavily, containing both your tears and the pressure down in your chest and throat.
Tumblr media
You snuggled closer to your thick blankets, trying to assimilate the warm you crave for from it. Felix was by your side, rubbing soothing circle to your back. You guys never went to go to another café. Instead, he led you home, seeing how it wasn’t the right time for you two to go out. You appreciated his gesture. It makes you wonder why can’t every guy be like your best friend, your brother, your soulmate. Felix let out a long exhale.
“Man, I-I’m sorry you had to see that, especially on your anniversary,” he soft said. Felix was furious, not only at Hyunjin, but himself as well. He felt like he couldn’t protect you, like he failed as your best friend.
“It’s okay, Lix. I’m fine,” you murmured. “Actually,” you paused, “I’m not fine. But you don’t have to apologize for something like this. This had nothing to do with you.”
“I know,” he sighed. “Im just frustrated, you know. I’m mad that you’re hurting like this.”
“Yeah me too,” you said emptily. “I just hope that this was just a misunderstanding.”
“He better damn well make sure that it’s just a misunderstanding,” he grumbled. “Otherwise i’m gonna have to settle some things with him. Hope he knows that i’m a black belt in Taekwondo.”
You snorted. “Thanks, Felix.”
“I will have a ‘chat’ with him. Mark my words.”
You laughed at him. You could faintly feel the angst in your heart lessen, but not completely go away. Hearing your front door unlock, you stiffened. You tried your best to not look at it.
“Babe! I’m here!” Hyunjin’s voice rang at the entrance. You felt Felix’s hold on your form tighten. Hyunjin walked closer to you two.
“Hey, Felix,” he said flatly. “didn’t know you were coming here.”
“Hmm.” Felix nodded his head, not even trying to make eye contact with the tall brunette. Hyunjin nodded back in annoyance.
“Anyways, you can leave now,” he sneered with his jaw clenched. “Your job is done. Now it’s my turn to spend time with my beloved.”
Both you and Felix tensed at his words. He looked down to look for your approval. Seeing your unsure nod, he hesitantly let go of you, watching you as he does so.
“It’s okay,” you mouthed to him. He made a sharp breath as he stood up, still refusing to look Hyunjin in the eye.
“Goodbye,” Felix called out, more to you than the other. You felt a sense of foreboding when you heard the door shut. From your side, Hyunjin let out a harsh groan.
“Finally,” he said, sitting down as he wrapped his arm around you. You couldn’t let yourself relax in his arms like how you’d usually to. You just felt uneasy in his presence right now. “So? How was you day? Missed me?” Hyunjin asked. You couldn’t take it anymore. You couldn’t bring yourself to pretend anymore.
“Are you cheating on me?” you more declared than asked as you sat up straight. Hyunjin’s eyes widened for a millisecond, a flash of fear in his eyes, but he just played it off.
“How could you accuse me of something like that?” he said, defensively. “I’m your boyfriend. Don’t you trust me?”
You bit your lip nervously. “I saw you, Hyunjin. At the café.” His face contorted in panic but quickly masked it as disbelief.
He scoffed, “Well you saw wrong, Y/n. That was just a friend, I would NEVER cheat on you.” He shook his head disappointingly, removing his arm from you. “I can’t believe that you would ever doubt me, babe. I’m actually really hurt by this right now.”
You felt a wave of guilt rush over you.
“Oh...I’m sorry,” you muttered. “I just thought-“
“You thought what? That the rumors were true?” Hyunjin laughed sarcastically. “Man, and here I thought that you were different.”
Your eyes teared up even more as the guilt inside your chest increased. Was I really wrong? you thought. “No! I’m-I’m sorry, Hyunie! I didn’t know! I just felt hurt because today was su-”
“Yeah, yeah. It’s okay. Let me just, be alone for a while, Y/n.” Hyunjin quietly got up and walked out of your house. You walked as he slammed the door on his way out, wrapping the blanket tighter around you. You were starting to regret letting Felix leave. The air around turn colder in your empty apartment.
It was supposed to be our one year anniversary, you thought, finally letting your tears out. And yet again, you tried controlling the tickling down your throat.
Tumblr media
“He told you WHAT?” Felix exclaimed, looking at you incredulously. You had to shush him when you noticed some of the other people in the coffe shop giving you both tiny glares.
“He told me that it was just a friend that he had to me,” you said, quietly. “And that he would never cheat on me. He also said that felt hurt that I didn’t trust him, so I felt bad cause he did looked super upset.”
Felix rolled his eyes as he let out a sardonic “ha”. “That’s rich. Coming from him?” You let out a tiny pout.
“I don’t know, Lix. He seemed like he was telling the truth though?”
“Yeah, seemed, Y/n. I don’t know if you should trust him anymore. And besides, it even sounded like he was trying to make you feel bad instead of apologizing.”
“Well yeah cause-” Felix cut you off, holding up his hand to stop you from saying anything else.
“That’s gaslighting, bud. A huge red flag if you ask me. He didn’t even remember that it was your anniversary!”
Scrunching your eyebrows, you pondered upon Felix’s words. You knew he was right, but you really wanted to give Hyunjin the benefit of a doubt. All of a sudden, you felt a pressure in your chest. In need of relief, you coughed into the juncture of your arm. Felix winced in pity.
“Ooh, sounds nasty. You good there?”
You nodded as you continued coughing, giving him a thumbs up. Once you finish with your fit, you cleared your throat a little, grabbing the water bottle beside you to drink.
“Mhmm, yeah. Just a tickle, that’s all.”
“You sure? You’ve started coughing since yesterday,” Felix stated. “Are you sure you aren’t getting sick cause of the weather or stress or something?”
“Uhh nah. I don’t think so,” you said. “I’m sure it’s nothing.”
Felix hummed, totally unconvinced by your reasoning. He knew deep down something was wrong; he just didn’t know what. It was quiet for a while until Felix up at the window and let out a little gasp. You raised your eyebrows at this, silently asking him what’s wrong. He glared a little at the window before turning to you.
“Hate to do this but look. Behind you, don’t make it obvious.”
You slightly turned your head to see what he was looking at. Your eyes widened. You saw Hyunjin and the same girl from 2 days ago, passing by at the other side of the window, hand in hand. You watched in disbelief as the girl tipped toed to kiss his cheek while he giggles. You quickly turned your head in the other direction to avoid him as they walked by, feeling the pressure in your chest worsen. It hurt even more when you remember the small bouquet of dahilas in her hands. You felt your eyes burning with tears, sucking in deep breaths. Turns out that that was a mistake.
You calming yourself back-fired. You ended up having a coughing fit; but it didn’t feel like any cough you’ve ever had. It felt way heavier, like you were almost suffocating. Bringing a fist to your chest, you pounded on it as if it would help. You didn’t know if the tears in your eyes was from the couch or seeing your bastard of a boyfriend. You couldn’t even open them so you opted to just keeping them shut .
“Y/n?!” Felix yelled out in alarm. You felt him come up behind you, rubbing your back. “Oh shit...” you heard him breathed out. You slowly opened your eyes and turned to him. He looked frantic, but he wasn’t staring at you, rather on the floor. You looked back to see dahlia petals on the floor.
Huh? you thought in bewilderment. Last time you checked, there wasn’t any plants in the shop, aside for the plastic Swiss Cheese plants in the corners of the place, if they even count at all.
Felix noticed your gaze on the petals. “That shit’s from you,” he pointed out. “We need to get you to a hospital. ASAP.”
You looked at him weakly. “But-“
“NOW, Y/n.”
Tumblr media
“I- what?” you gasped in horror.
“You’ve, unfortunately, contracted the Hanahaki Disease,” the doctor announced in sympathy. Felix rushed you to the nearest hospital after your little scene. When you arrived there and told the receptionist at the entrance, she immediately paged you to the emergency room. You were scared. You didn’t know what was so urgent to rush you to an emergency room.
“Hantahapki? What the hell is that?” Felix asked, coming out rather aggressively. He was horrified; who wouldn’t be if they witnessed their best friend coughing out flower petals.
“Hanahaki,” the doctor subtly corrected, “It’s a rare disease that makes you cough out petals. Not many people gets it.”
Your heart beak was fast. If it was rare, then who knows what could happen.
“Okay, Hanahaki. So do you know how Y/n got it?”
The doctor removed her glasses and put it on the desk beside her. “Well, though it is a rare disease, we do know enough about it,” she declared. “The Hanahaki disease, fortunately, isn’t contagious and is only produced from unrequited love.”
You let out a shaky sigh. “So it is true. He doesn’t love me anymore,” you muttered. You felt the familiar pressure in your chest so you relieved yourself, petals spewing as you coughed. Felix immediately rubbed your back in alarm.”
“Is there anyway to treat it, doc?” he worriedly questioned. The doctor nodded.
“Yes actually. One option is for the patient’s love to be returned by the recipient,” your heart dropped a little hearing this “-or the other is to undergo surgery.”
“Surgery?” you both inquired at the same time.
The doctor nodded again. “Yes, surgery, our safest option. However, doing so will result in Y/n loosing all feelings of love altogether.”
“So what you’re saying is,” you said slowly. “-if I do the procedure, I won’t be able to love again?”
“Unfortunately, yes. Romantic love that is. You can still love people platonicly, like your friend over here,” she said gesturing to Felix. “Family and friends, basically. You just can’t have romantic feelings for anyone else, even if you really wanted to.”
You and Felix looked at each other in sorrow. “I,” Felix started off, “really think you should do it.”
You bit your lip as you shook your head. “I don’t know. This is a pretty big decision. Can’t I just, like, think about it for a while? Before I really decide if I want to do this?”
“Of course you can, Y/n,” the doctor said. “Just don’t take too long making a decision, okay? Because it will kill you, if you don’t decide on time.”
The two of you looked up at her in horror. “KILL?!”
She winced a little at your loud voices, prompting the two of you to apologize. “Yes, kill. Those aren’t just petals coming out of no where.” She gestured to the pile between the tree of you. “They have to produce somewhere. At first they’ll start of as a little bud, that’s why as of now, you’re only coughing out several petals each cough, eventually getting bigger and bigger until the flower in your lungs fully bloom, which could end up bursting out of your chest.”
Felix turned to you in pure terror, slightly shaking you. “I REALLY think you should do the surgery today.” You brushed him off of you.
“Okay yeah, that’s terrifying, but I won’t be able to love ever again, Lix!” you countered. He look at you like you were crazy.
“You won’t be able to feel ANYTHING if you don’t!”
You contemplated on the situation. You didn’t know what to do. The doctor interrupted your train of thoughts.
“Don’t worry, Y/n you have about a few weeks minimum to make a decision. Luckily you came to us the day you started coughing out the petals. Otherwise, if it happened earlier and you kept it to yourself, you might’ve...you know.” You shook your head in acknowledgment.
“Yeah. Okay, thank you, doc.”
It’s been 5 days since you’ve been to the hospital; 5 days you’ve been diagnosed with the Hanahaki Disease; 5 days since you’ve last seen Hyunjin.
You still weren’t sure if you wanted to undergo the procedure. Felix said that this was the best option, but you didn’t want to listen. You still had hope in your heart that maybe, just maybe, Hyunjin still loves you deep down. You heard your phone ding from the table. You picked it up and saw that is was from your “boyfriend”.
Hey! Haven’t seen each other in a while. Wanna talk?
Your heart sped up. You didn’t know if it was from excitement that he finally contacted you, or fear that you might end up finding out the whole truth. Your fingers typed out a reply.
Yeah, come over today. I’ve missed you
Liar, you thought to yourself.
Sure! See you soon!
:)
You typed out your final reply, burying your face into the throw pillows.
A knock was heard from your door, signaling Hyunjin’s arrival. You tensed buy quickly calmed yourself down. You got up to let him in. You were greeted by his big smile, which you knew now was fake.
“Hey, babe! I’ve missed you!” he cheered.
Fucking liar. Putting one a fake smile, you said a quick “miss you too” and let him in. Closing the door, you gave yourself a mental pep talk before going straight to the point. You turned around to face him
“You’re cheating on me,” you stated, emotionlessly. You didn’t even say it as if it was a question, you knew. Hyunjin looked panic before composing himself.
“Again, Y/n? I told you, it-”
“I SAW YOU, HYUNJIN!” you cried out, not even containing your emotions anymore. “I SAW YOU OUTSIDE OF THE CAFÉ. I SAW YOU HOLDING HANDS. I SAW HER KISS YOU AND YOU DIDNT PUSH HER AWAY. IN FACT, IT LOOKED LIKE YOU ENJOYED IT.” You walked quickly towards him to push his chest.
“WHAT’S WORSE WAS THAT I SAW THE DAHLIAS YOU GAVE HER, A FLOWER THAT YOU SAID WAS SPECIAL TO US!” you fell to the floor, sobbing. The jig was up, Hyunjin knew.
“I trusted you Hyunjin...I really did. I even convinced myself that you weren’t like the rumors said,” you said weakly, already too tired to scream. “I love you. How could you do this to me?”
Hyunjin watched as you broke down. He didn’t know what to say; how to comfort you. He couldn’t even lie to you anymore. He felt bad for you. But he could’nt deny that he’s lost feelings for you.
“I’m sorry...”
Hearing this made you cry even more, you cradled your chest as you sank deeper to the floor. He didn’t even deny it. He didn’t even try comforting you. You heard his heavy footsteps leave your house, closing the door behind him. Your heart lurked even more. So this is it, you thought.
It hurts.
It hurts so fucking bad.
You were used to being cheated and lied to, so why did it? You clutched your burning chest, trying to regulate your breathing. More tears spilled out of your eyes.
It was because you genuinely loved Hyunjin.
You couldn’t take it anymore, you started wheezing out the dahlia petals out of your chest. A bunch of petals flew out of your mouth. You couldn’t breathe. It was too much. You crawled to your phone to call Felix. It rang once, twice, before he finally answered.
“Y/n?”
You could’ve even speak anymore, the room started spinning, your vision started blurring.
“Lix...hospital...” you managed to let out before collapsing.
“Y/n? Y/n!”
Tumblr media
You woke up to the sound of beeping. You looked around and noticed that you weren’t home anymore. You tried getting up, flinching when the IV bag connected to you stopped you.
Ah, I’m at the hospital.
You laid back down and relaxed, trying to relive what happened last time you were awake. All you remember were blurry images of you crying, petals, hearing Felix’s panicked voice, then nothing. You eyes shot open at the thought.
Felix?!
You looked around the room to finally see him sleeping in the corner. You could faintly distinguish the dried tear marks on his freckled face.
He must’ve been here for a while.
The door know turned to reveal the same doctor to diagnosed you a few days prior. “Hello, Y/n,” she greeted, standing by your bed. “Seems like you’re doing well now.” You nodded. You tried speaking to answer her, only to find that you couldn’t because of how dry your throat was. The doctor noticed this and shook her head.
“Don’t. Just rest, it’s okay.”
You bowed you head as a slight thank you. She walked closer to you to pat your head.
“Congratulations, the procedure was a success.”
You eyes widened at the implication. So that’s why you’re here. It all made sense now. You have her a smile as you gave a raspy “thank you.” She talked to you for a while before deciding to leave you to rest a little more. She announced you could be discharged from the hospital by tomorrow.
You felt a little disappointed that you couldn’t love anymore, but still overall glad that you’re still alive. You glanced at the papers the doctor left on the table beside you, grabbing it to read it a little just to see that is was just your information. Beside it, you saw that she also left a cup of water for you. You gulped it down, letting out a relieved “ah” went you finished.
You didn’t want to think about anything right now, and you sure as hell didn’t even want to think about your now ex-boyfriend. You closed your eyes to think about what went wrong in your life. Especially now that you have to live without loving anything the way you want to. You contemplated with an emptiness in your chest.
Warnings: Talk of mental health, anxiety, panic attacks
A/N: This is so terribly late and I apologize. I’ve finally figured out how to balance work and college so now I’m back on track for having free time to write. Also, I love the fact that someone requested Gordon Ramsey. I literally will dump anything on my blog, hopefully this is proof. (is this the first Gordon Ramsay fic on tumblr?)
You hum quietly, stirring the strawberries that were slowly reducing in a pot. You dipped your finger in, bringing it to your lips. You exclaim to yourself in delight, surprised that you were pulling off the recipe you had chosen. You turned the pot off, spinning around to pour the syrupy strawberries over the now-chilled pound cake.
You set the pot down, leaning on the counter to take a small break. You smiled to yourself and took a deep breath. Everything was going good.
Nothing is wrong, you remind yourself as thoughts in the back of your head nag at you.
You had struggled with anxiety for a while, and had become accustomed to random racing thoughts and heart acceleration. You were proud that you were working through it, even if you had a bad day once and a while.
As far as you could tell, today was a decent day. Baking was a safe escape for you, and you weren’t too bad at it. At some points it could be stressful, but being able to get rid of worries and focus on what was in front of you was therapy, in your mind.
You’re pulled from your thoughts by the doorbell ringing, causing a smile to spread across your face. You wipe your hands on a dish towel nearby and jog to your front door. When you make it there, you throw it open.
Gordon.
“Hello, Darling.” He steps in the door, hanging his jacket up on the rack and toeing his shoes off to the side. He sets the other things he was holding down and reaches towards you.
You step into his arms, your head briefly resting on his chest.
“Gordon! It’s been so long.”
He releases you, gently grasping your shoulders to hold you at arm's length.
“You look good,” he pauses, “And what’s that delightful smell? You’ve been baking again haven’t you?” He smiles down at you.
You smile bashfully. “I have. It’s strawberry shortcake this time. Nothing earth shattering.”
“Well I’m no pastry chef but if you made it I know it will be amazing love.”
You blush a little, realizing he’s still holding onto you. You roll our eyes, trying not to seem flustered and reach for the bags he had previously set down.
“What’d you bring me, old friend?”
“Old you say?” He follows you into the kitchen.
You set the bag down on the island, glancing up at Gordon as he nudges you aside and starts taking containers out of his bag.
“Skillet Cod with lemon and capers. It’s from the Tahoe location I’ve recently opened.” He moves around you with confidence, finding the cupboard you keep your plates in and pulling two out.
You grab forks, making your way to the table and setting two spots. Gordon joins you, placing plates down and plating the food from the “to go” boxes. It’s still warm, and somehow he manages to make it look like it just came out of the pass.
“This looks great Gordon. How’s the restaurant faring?”
He sits beside you, passing you a napkin. The whole thing seems too domestic and you almost hate how much you love the idea of life being like this every day.
“Just fine darling, my head chef is fully capable but it doesn’t stop me from making frequent trips up here,” He looks up from his food and gives you a sly smile, “Tahoe is truly a world treasure.”
You laugh. You have lived in California your entire life and oftentimes forget how lucky you are to have Lake Tahoe at your fingertips.
“I certainly don’t mind all the company I’ve been getting. Speaking of, when are you going to take me to your crowning achievement, hm?”
He laughs.
“Very soon, I promise.”
-
Conversation continues easily between you two, simply catching up. Occasionally one of you would look a little too long at the other, but fleeting glances would scare your gazes away. At some point, wine was brought to the table and you had a few drinks in (you swear it was only a few) and your head was swimming in a very pleasant way.
That was, until a smoke detector went off. Your heart rate accelerated almost immediately, eyes widening. Did you leave the stove on? Was it something else? Oh god, was your house about to burn down?
A million thoughts race through your mind and suddenly your throat seems very dry and tight.
You bolt up from your seat, rounding the corner. The stove was fine, and there were no flames anywhere else. The cake was still safe on the counter. Suddenly you realized there was smoke in the air and it was coming from the oven.
You had left it on after you took the cake out. You opened it after clicking the cancel button, a mass of smoke billowing out.
“Y/n? Isn't everything alright?”
You almost don’t hear him, too busy looking for what exactly was burning so badly. When the smoke clears a little bit, you see the now black batter at the bottom of the oven, realizing how stupid you currently felt. You had spilled some earlier when putting the cake in the oven, and had tried to remember to clean it up once the oven had cooled.
You now didn’t feel fear, just overwhelming embarrassment. Gordon had just witnessed you totally freak out over virtually nothing. Your throat felt tight and your eyes began to sting. You quickly shut the oven, bracing yourself against it. It was only getting harder to breathe, and it wasn’t helping that you were trying to stifle your emotions.
“Y/n darling-”
You’re braced against the oven, chest heaving. You can’t really lie to yourself any longer and say you aren’t panicking, because you are and suddenly every coping mechanism your therapist taught you is thrown out the window and god you don’t want anyone- much less Gordon- to see you like this.
Your anxieties are only piling on and you suddenly have tunnel vision, slumping even more onto the oven. You faintly feel Gordon’s hands underneath your arms, probably holding you up at this point. Your vision is swimming and you feel sick.
For a moment or so there’s nothing, and slowly you begin to feel better as your vision returns. You only feel so, so tired as you realize you had just passed out.
“There you go love, take it easy.”
You blink a few times, looking at your surroundings. You're on your kitchen floor, in Gordon’s lap. He’s stroking your hair, his brows furrowed.
“You look like you do when you get pissed on Hell’s Kitchen.” You let your head fall back onto his lap.
“Jesus fucking christ you scared me. What was that?”
“Just a panic attack, I think.”
“I thought they were getting better, that you were making progress?”
He looked genuinley worried and you realized how dumb your brain was for being overly anxious about having a panic attack in front of him. Which was ironic, seeing how more panic only made a bigger panic attack.
“I was. Sometimes they’re still bad, never like that though.”
“Are you sure you’re okay, should we go to the hospital?”
You try to sit up, only for Gordon to put a hand on your shoulder. You half smile allowing yourself to lay your head back down.
“Really Gordon, I feel better. It’s nothing but my brain overreacting a bit. I promise.”
He’s stroking your head again, and you can see he doesn’t believe you. You don’t blame him, he hadn’t experienced mental health issues in the same personal way you experienced them. This was something you had to deal with everyday, and he didn’t. You understood how concerning this probably seemed to him.
“I think I should stay tonight, just to make sure you’re okay.”
He helps you up, slowly, and being ever so careful with you. He leads you to your room, barely allowing you to change into pajamas. It was endearing how worried he was for you, but there was still a slight concern that you were being a burden.
“Are you alright?” He peaks around the door when you give him the okay, and you see that he’s shed his jacket and is now in sweatpants.
“Yes,” you sit on your bed, trying to hold in a yawn. “Are you sure you can stay tonight?”
“I would have been heading back to my hotel anyway. I don’t leave until Saturday.” He sits next to you on the bed, looking as if he’s gonna fret over you again.
“You can sleep in here, if you would like. My couch isn’t the most comfortable…”
“You didn’t think I was leaving you alone after that, did you?” He rolls over you, jokingly grabbing a pillow and bumping you with it. “This is my bed now too until I know you’re absolutely okay.”
You flush, and roll your eyes once again.  “If you insist.”
Your heart is racing again and you almost laugh. This is a different kind of anxiety, the kind that makes your heart swell with love and the butterflies in your stomach to flutter around gently. It was exciting.
You turn and turn off your bedside light, crawling under the covers. You feel Gordon do the same, situating himself. You’re about to whisper goodnight when he pulls you into him, your head resting on his chest. He gives you a kiss on the forehead, squeezing your shoulder in a comforting way.
“Goodnight my love.”
“Goodnight Gordon.”
You suddenly feel content. No anxiety in the back of your mind, only bliss and safeness. There’s an unspoken promise that Gordon wishes he could voice, the solid promise of love that neither of you were quite ready to explore yet. But all of that didn’t matter at the moment. The only thing that he could feel was your steady heartbeat and rise and fall of your chest.
He unspokenly loved you, and that was enough for now.
“You know, we never got cake.”
“Cuddling you is dessert enough for me,”  a pause, “Actually I will be stealing a slice tomorrow.
Thank you for reading!
Why you always call me when your high?
summary: you exboyfriend!Haechan called you one night to ask you to save his ass like he always does.
warnings: no i can think of
word count: 1852
notes: i think it’s a little angst with a fluff at the end but idk :D and please don’t be harsh on my English, it’s not my first language:(
Tumblr media
I opened my eyes and first thing I’ve done was looking at the window. It was still dark outside and it didn’t look like that would be changed in any second. The next thing I’ve done was noticing the hour on my alarm clock. 3 A.M. Who called me at 3 am? I took my phone from the nightstand, still with closed eyes which caused a glass breaking beside my bed.
“Fuck” I cursed and picked up the phone. ”Hello?” At first, no one answered I thought it was some kind of prank call. I opened my eyes and looked at the screen of my phone.
Haechan.
“What do you want? You called me so you should answer I can’t wait all night.” He still didn’t answer but I heard voices and music in the background, he was at the party as always.
“Can you pick me up?” His voice was muffled but I could hear him smile.
“It’s 3 am why are you calling me now?” I turned to my back and started to look at some dots on the ceiling that light from the street made.
“You know I was going to drive alone but I decided last minute to call you. It will be safer that way.” I sighted so now I know why he called me at this hour, to do shit he always wanted me to. Saving his ass.
“Of course asking your ex-girlfriend is always safer than driving on your own.” He laughed and then I heard screaming in the back. “I have a question.”
“Of course honey ask whatever you want.” I rolled my eyes.
“First of all stop calling me honey, I never liked that even when we were together. Why you always call me when you're high?” He laughed again.
“You know me too well-baby. Baby, I can call you that right? I remember really good, that you liked that.” I don’t see him but I knew he was smirking. He was waiting for a minute as I was going to interrupt him. ”So are you coming or I have to risk my life?” I changed the phone to speaker and muffled my scream to a pillow.
“Send me an address and I will be there in 30 minutes.” I threw away the sheets and turn on the lamp on the nightstand.
“I will be waiting. I love you.” I looked at the screen for a solid minute when he said his last words and ended the call.
Why my heart skipped a beat when he said that words? I don’t know. But I knew well that he is going to forget about them in the morning, like he always did.
Tumblr media
I parked in front of some suburb house. The spring was starting to show, but there was still a little bit of snow on the front yard and some people were laying on it like it was a normal thing. A couple of them were standing on the porch smoking cigarettes or even weed and laughing at the stupidity of his friends. I sent a message to Haechan, that I’m waiting for him and then I looked at the front door.
The words he said to me still echoed in my head, he was not thinking straight, and maybe he confused me with someone else. We broke up half a year ago, at that time a lot of things could change, like he will be able to find himself a new girlfriend and maybe he thought he was talking with his new girl and not me, that’s why he said those three words. But it felt weird even hearing his voice again, we spent 5 years together, and then boom, one night and we are strangers to each other.
I jumped a little when the door suddenly opened, I don’t even know how long I was sitting there, but the inside of my car started to get cold. He sat on the passenger seat and closed the door, after fastening the seat belts he took my phone, set something on it, and put it in its place. I nodded my head and started driving away.
The silence in the car was uncomfortable but what I was going to ask him. ‘How are you? Oh, and you said you love me so I was going to ask were you serious or you were just playing like at the end of our relationship?’
“Your boyfriend must be mad that you, that some random guy took you out of bed at 3 am. At least I would be mad.” I huffed at him.
“I don’t have a boyfriend. But your girlfriend must be jealous that you call other girls at that hour to pick you up.” And you say to them that you love them.
“You know half a year is not a lot of time to find someone else. I mean I could him myself another girl, but why would I? I wanted to have some freedom from commitments.” I would lie if I would say his worlds didn’t hurt.
“You started this conversation, I’m just getting along.” Haechan sighed and folded his arms over his chest.
Our conversation stopped there, and the silence between us became more bearable. The drive to his dorms wasn’t long, I stopped on the parking in front of the entrance to the building. He started to search his pockets for keys I believe.
“Fuck” He mumbled under his nose. “I think I lost my keys at the party and Sungchan is at his girlfriend's house right now.” He looked at me and his pupils were almost the same size as his iris, but I would spend all night looking at them. When we were in high school I would spend a lot of our hangouts just looking at his eyes. They were almost hypnotizing. “Hey, you hear me?” I shocked my head to clean my head from thoughts.   “You can sleep at my place if you want to.” My mouth said that before my brain could process it and I didn’t know why I was saying that, but well there is no going back now.
“Since you asked so nicely” Haechan smirked and I rolled my eyes at him and drove us to my place.
Tumblr media
I opened the door and let him go first. When I turned on the light the first thing Greenie did (my cat that I’ve got right after our break up) was starting to rub against Haechan’s leg, she didn’t like everyone, so that was a good and bad sign, because she probably will never see him again. He kneeled and scratched her behind her ear, she starter to purr. When I looked at him I really wanted it to be our every day, I wanted him to come to this house every day and rumble about his day or just talk with me about everything. I wanted to see him petting my cat and making our dinner like he used to when I was home alone. He would come to my house and cook for me because he knew I wasn’t going to do it myself.
“I’m hungry” He suddenly said.
“That’s not a surprise since you probably coming down from high now.” I crossed my arms and looked at him as he stood up.
“I didn’t do drugs if you said it just now.”
“Weed is still a drug if you want to know.” He opened his mouth like he was going to argue with me but closed it immediately.
I left him alone and went to the kitchen to do something for him. He might be my ex but I still kind of cared about him, so he is not going to starve on my watch. It was 5 am already and I didn’t think I will be able to fall asleep again so I made myself some coffee.
When I was in the middle of making a sandwich I felt Haechan's hands on my waist. Normally I probably wouldn’t allow him to put his hands on me, not after this time and not after I started to heal my heart from him. But now I kind of wanted it, I wanted to felt his hands on me again even more I wanted to feel his lips on me.
“Haechan can you not? You are high and probably a little bit drunk, you would regret it later.” I put a knife on the counter.
“But you are fully sober and I see you are not against the idea of what might happen” And it felt like he was reading my mind because he brushed my hair away and put light kisses on my neck.
“We broke up, Haechan.” I reminded him but my words didn’t stop him and I didn’t either.
“I know but that doesn’t mean we can’t sleep with each other, as friends.” That was enough I turned around and looked at him. At the end of our relationship, every day we spent together would look the same. He would come to my apartment kiss me and we will end up in bed. Then he would just leave without saying goodbye, like he was just using me.
“I see you didn’t changed at all and…” He interrupted me.
“Have you ever thought about us getting back together?” I opened my mouth but again I couldn’t say anything because he started to talk. “Because I did, I was thinking about you every day from the day you left my house till today and every day I was thinking, maybe I should call her but I wanted you to have a better future with someone else, because let’s say I’m not the boyfriend you are dreaming of. But today I got drunk and high and well I called you supposed to just drop me off and our paths will not be crossed ever again but I lost my keys.” He stopped talking for a minute and looked me in the eyes, his gaze was soft and he continued looking at me with love in them. “All I wanted to say is that I want you back but I know I can’t have you.” – my mouth opened in shock.
Well, I thought about us getting back every day for about three months but it stopped once I started to know more new people and they didn’t know Haechan so I wasn’t going to meet him any time soon. But here I’m with him in my kitchen, 50 cm away from me with his black hair covering his forehead, and suddenly I want him back, I want to have what we had just a year ago. Maybe that’s why or maybe because I was sleep deprived I pulled him by his shirt and kissed him like I was hungry and was doing it for the first time in my life. As an answer, he just took my face in his hands and kissed me back.
“Take this as a yes and as another chance I’m giving you,” I said against his lips.
could u do a part two of closure of christopher’s actual birthday like amelia that day and the kids idk
closure pt. 2
May 15.
The numbers on her lock screen seemed to burn an imprint into her eyes, unable to blink away the image of them even as she looked away. It was a day that she had dreaded, one she had felt guilty for dreading, and one that she knew would be difficult.
She glanced over at Link, sleeping soundly beside her, his features perfectly calm without the knowledge of the current time.
12:01 A.M.
Amelia took a deep breath, pulled the sheet off her legs, and kicked them to the side of the bed, steadying herself as she stood up. Her legs felt weaker than before, as if someone had dropped a weight on them while she had been sleeping.
She didn't intend on being up so early today; in fact, she'd went to bed early. The kids had settled sooner than expected (which she suspected had something to do with Link; he knew what today was and promised he'd make it as easy as possible for her), and she had gotten a few hours of uninterrupted sleep until her son woke up crying. She recognized it as his hungry cry, nudging Link's shoulder softly to let him know that she would handle it, and walked into the nursery to feed her son. By the time he'd settled back down and she returned to the bedroom, it was nearly midnight, and she couldn't seem to calm her mind back down.
Part of her was tempted to wake her boyfriend and ask him to just hold her, comforting her in the way he always did so perfectly, but she knew that she would start crying if she opened her mouth and tried to speak. And honestly, she didn't know if she would stop.
Her toes dug into the carpet of the bedroom as she padded across the floor, carefully opening the door to avoid the creaking that often woke them up in the night. She crept down the hall and into Meredith's unoccupied bedroom, tiptoeing into the attached bathroom.
Link was unlikely to find her in here, she thought as she eased herself down on the cool tile, her pajama shorts not providing any warmth of comfort.
She clutched her phone close to her chest and breathed heavily, focusing her eyes on counting the floor tiles, something to ground her and ease her mind of the importance of the day.
---------------
"Amelia?" His voice was quiet, yet Amelia cringed at the volume. She opened her eyes to find herself on the bathroom floor, her boyfriend standing in the doorway with concern spelled across his features. He looked at her like that a lot, she realized. Link watched as she sat up, returning to her sitting position from the wee hours of the morning. She glanced down at her phone.
8:37 A.M.
A third of the day wasted on something as minor as sleep. Something she could do any day yet had chosen to waste her time on today.
"I made you some tea," Link kneeled down to her level, holding a steaming mug of something that nearly made her want to puke. "You wanna go eat something? I made waffles for the kids." She shook her head, staring blankly ahead. "You wanna be left alone?" Her shoulders shrugged, and Link remained beside her for another minute before placing the mug on the sink counter, whispering a quick 'I love you' and exiting the bathroom.
---------------
Her phone buzzed on the tile, the vibration obnoxiously loud below her.
Addison.
She picked up the phone, staring at the letters that spelled out the name of her sister. Addison Montgomery.
Addison called every year on this day as she ate lunch; they'd made it some unofficial tradition to make sure to connect and check in with each other on this day, no matter what was going on.
She knew that answering the call would mean a conversation about her feelings, endless questions about Scout and Link, some prideful rant about how much progress Henry is making, and right now, Amelia didn't want it. She didn't want to converse about how smart and how grown up their kids were when her own son had never gotten the same chance.
Her face was blank as the phone rang in her hand until it ended automatically, a text coming through shortly after.
Call me when you can, okay?
She'd call, eventually. Probably.
---------------
Link tried to hide the shock on his face as Amelia padded down the stairs, but she could see his reaction.
2:13 P.M.
She felt that spending the entire day sitting on Meredith's bathroom floor was definitely a waste, even if getting up felt painful. The kitchen was quiet around Amelia as she headed towards the table, sitting down on the soft cushion tied to the wooden chair. "Can I get you anything?" Link placed his hand on her shoulder hesitantly, only relaxing it down as Amelia breathed out. "The kids are all in their rooms, reading or throwing barbies and Hotwheels at each other." He sank into the chair next to her, leaning forward to look at her. "Do you wanna be alone right now?"
"Just sit here, please." It was so quiet that she wasn't even sure if she was speaking until Link nodded softly, sitting against the wooden back of the chair, placing his hand over hers.
---------------
The layer of dust over the photobook made her feel even guiltier. She rarely touched these albums, maybe once a year if she was feeling up to it, but not always. They were tucked in a box in the corner of her closet, constantly covered by fallen clothes or whatever mess she'd not bothered to clean up.
After moving up to Seattle, she'd wanted to tuck all remnants of her previous life away, but Addison had convinced her over the phone to keep things. Which left her with a half dozen photo albums she didn't touch often enough to justify owning, but that provided some odd sort of comfort to her when she needed it.
She brushed as much of the dust off as she could before standing, tucking the book under her arm, and heading towards the nursery. Scout was asleep in his crib, his features perfectly relaxed and his limbs sprawled out on the small mattress. She reached for him, knowing it would ruin the sleep schedule they'd been trying to develop (but failing miserably), not quite caring at the moment.
She settled in the rocking chair, holding Scout against her body in a sitting position, the book in her other hand. There was a crinkling noise as she thumbed through the pages, the clear plastic protecting the photos making enough sound to disturb the sleeping baby in her arms. "Shh," she whispered, pressing her lips to the boy's head. "Just stay calm with Mommy for a little, okay?" He snuggled further against her, causing a tiny smile to appear on Amelia's face. "This is your brother, Scout." She pointed at the one photo she had of her first son, one Addison had taken before he was taken into the operating room, knowing her sister would want some physical memory of the boy. "This is your big brother, and today is his birthday. He's eight years old today." Amelia noticed Link standing in the doorway as she looked up.
"Sorry, I just came to check on him; I'll go." She frowned and held out her hand.
"Come here; I'll show you the picture." He walked over slowly, standing behind her with his hands on her shoulders, massaging the muscles she held tension in. "Addison took this the day he was born. I didn't want anything, at least I thought I didn't want anything to remind myself of him, but I wish I had more."
"He's beautiful," Link whispered, dropping a kiss on her forehead. Amelia sniffled, glancing between Scout and the photo of Christopher.
"I miss him, a lot. It's even harder now that Scout's here, because Scout will never meet his older brother."
"We'll tell him everything. If you're comfortable with that, of course. We can tell him all about how his big brother saved so many other babies, how his big brother was a superhero for his entire life." Her eyes glossed over, and she tilted her head to look up at him. "And now, he's a superhero who watches over us, making sure that we're all okay. We'll tell him how sometimes you're going to be sad about Christopher and miss him, and that doesn't mean that you don't love Scout any less." She bit the inside of her cheek, nodding slowly as tears began to roll down from her eyes.
"Okay," she whispered, looking at Scout, who had fallen back asleep in her arms.
"And Amelia, I want you to tell me what I can do to help. Because I can try to understand, but I'll never feel it like you do. So, whenever you need it, just tell me, and I'll do whatever I can."
---------------
Tears fell steadily down her face for the rest of the night, her body curled up in the familiar comfort of Link's embrace as he respected the silence of her mood.
She hadn't wanted to cry, but pushing those feelings down hadn't done anything to help her grief, so she allowed herself to find solace in her boyfriend's arms.
He ran his hand down her hair, wiping tears from her face and holding her tightly to him. She didn't think about the missed calls and worried texts from Addison or the fact that the clock had already ticked past midnight, meaning it was no longer the birthday of her late son.
"The grief hit me harder than I expected," she eventually spoke, pulling Link's arm around her tighter. "I'm sorry."
"Don't apologize, Amelia. As hard as it is to see you upset, I can't even imagine what you're going through, so please don't feel guilty for it." She nodded her head slightly. "Because, just like Christopher was a superhero for all of those other babies, you're a superhero for everyone here. And even superheroes need time to feel everything. Grief, happiness, upset, anger, everything." A shaky breath fell from her mouth.
"You're my superhero," she whispered, moving her head to gaze into his eyes.
"And you, mine."
A silly argument
Pairing: Harrison Osterfield x reader
Word count: 1K
Prompt: “I wish I never met you, never knew you exist.”
Requested: yes
A/N: To the anon who requested this, IDK if you’re still reading this. But if you are, then I’m so sorry for being so late with this. I have no other excuse except to admit that I’ve been a complete mess these past few months.
Also, this is a complete mess. I’m sorry if you do not like it! Thank you for sending the request. Love ya.
~~~
The tension in the car was thick enough to be cut with a knife. Both you and Harrison spent the entire car ride in silence; him navigating the busy streets of London, and you looking out the window and ignoring his presence.
The argument was silly, as silly as a child’s tantrum over not being invited for their parent’s wedding. What had started as a simple dinner between both you and your parents had blown completely out of proportion.
You really tried, but somewhere in your mind, your pettiness acted up and you slammed shut the car door a little hard when you reached home. And even if he noticed it, Harrison didn’t say anything. However, he couldn’t keep silent when you decided to take out your anger by throwing them loudly in the closet and stomp out of the bedroom when you realized he followed you there.
“If you have something to say then say it, stop showing your anger this way. It’s unattractive!” his voice billowed from the bedroom all the way to the kitchen where you were trying to calm down with a glass of water. But that attempt was short lived when he walked in again, ready for the confrontation.
“Not now, Harrison!” You warned him in low voice, not ready for the conversation. You knew if you two got into it right now, ugly words will be said, words none of you would be able to recover from.
“Then when exactly? We need to have this conversation right now!” the agitation in his voice was increasing with your every attempt of avoiding the oncoming confrontation. “Yes, I’m going away for a while, and yes I forgot to tell you about it. What am I supposed to do now? Go to jail? Excuse me officer but my offense if not telling my girlfriend that I have to go away for a while FOR WORK PURPOSE!”
“YOU KNOW IT IS NOT ABOUT THE GOING AWAY BIT!” realizing instantly how raised your voice was, you tried to level it, “It is about the fact that this is the third time I’m actually hearing news about you second or third hand from others! Things I should know first!”
“You can’t possibly refer to my mother or sister second or third party!” even though his voice was quiet this time there was no calmness to it, “Yes they know because I told them. I’d tell you too if you were home before 10 PM at least once a week.”
“Don’t make this about me!” You slammed the glass in your hand on the table, “I told you that I was busy, that I had to work late, THAT is the reason why I am late at coming home every day. If you wanted someone to be available at your every beck and call then maybe you should’ve dated the model ‘friend’ off yours.”
“How do you always round up every argument to this one topic baffles me!” He follows you back to the bedroom, clearly not ready to give up, “this has no relation to what we are actually talking about.”
“Doesn’t it Harrison?” you furiously tug at the zip of your dress, unable to get it off, moving away when he moves forward to offer his help, “It always boils down to how you’d get pissed when I don’t do something that goes according to your plans, and then you take your small revenge, sometimes it hanging out with your ‘friends’ or sometimes its withholding information from me.”
“Are you genuinely that paranoid?” He let out a half hearted laugh, “I’m not taking revenge on you, and I never expect you to follow my plans. It’s you who’s always manipulating and trying to get your own way!”
The argument will have no end, mainly because Harrison was in no mood to give up tonight. So you decided to throw down the gauntlet.
“The fact that you think I’m emotionally manipulating you when really, I simply ask for a little bit of clarity, shows how delusional you are!” you collected your pajamas, trying hard not to show how much his words actually hurt, “In fact, now I wish I never met you, never knew you exist. That way I’ll have better peace of mind maybe.”
He tried to counter your argument, but you had already shut the bathroom door on his face. All you could hear was him kicking a nearby table, and then the front door slamming as he left. And then you finally started to cry.
“love, are you awake?” the soft whispers woke you from your fitful sleep. And the moment you realized it was Harrison, your mind went into defense mode.
Realizing that you were expecting another argument, he tried to pacify the situation, “I’m sorry,” he sat up with you, holding onto your hand, “I have no other excuses for not telling you about the fact that I was going away, and I’m sorry I called you manipulative. I was just…” he looked around, as if searching for the right word in the darkness of the bedroom, “I was simply frustrated. I hate it when you don’t say the things when you’re angry. You always say we’ll talk about it later, and then we never do, and then it stays forgotten and builds up resentment…”
“I’m sorry too.” You inturrupted his rant, “I know, I do this, and it’s because I hate to fight, you know I hate to fight!” You could feel the tears threatening to spill again, “and I try to shove it under the carpet because I feel like it’s the best way…”
“But it’s not!” he cupped your face in his hands, “to be together we have to face both the pretty and ugly. So please, please next time you’re pissed, tell me why, tell me how I can improve it, how to help it. And I swear I’ll be patient, but just tell me.”
“I’ll try.” You nod your head, promising yourself that despite your hatred for confrontation, you’ll try to be more honest with Harrison, cause after all, isn’t that what you do when you love someone.
