Hi, its me! Im sorry for bothering you! How would Bakugou, Aizawa, and Iida react if some random kid, who had their eyes but different hair, who looks homeless and IS homeless, knockef on their door and said 'hey, do you know *insert womans name*? Youre my dad apparently' and it turns iut it was a woman they had a flimg with, who left them, and went on to abusr their kid? Like severely? Its just me projecting lol. Im so sorry have a great day!
A/N: I noticed that @madkaleidoscope got almost the same request while going through the my hero tags, so please check out their post HERE for another take on the same idea.
A Surprise Meeting (Bakugo, Iida, and Aizawa meet their abused child)
You can read the same scenario for Todoroki and Dabi HERE You can read the same scenario for Hawks, Fatgum, and Shigaraki Here
Warning:⚠️Mentions of child abuse and homelessness. Also, swearing for Bakugo!⚠️
Bakugo
“What the hell do you mean they were offended?” Bakugo growls at his manager through the phone propped up on his shoulder as he aggressively chops up vegetables for the stew he was making. “Instead of being grateful that I saved their asses, they decided to file a complaint against me huh?”
The underpaid person on the other end launches into an explanation about why a top ranked pro hero should avoid yelling out expletives while fighting villains in front of a crowd of civilians. Apparently it wasn’t an appropriate way to behave in front of impressionable children and elderly folks. Bakugo rolled his eyes as he continued cooking. He’d heard this spiel a hundred times before. He’d honestly worked hard over the years to improve the way he directly interacted with the innocent people he fought to protect every day, but he couldn’t help but get a little overzealous in the moment when taking down bad guys.
Bakugo clicked his tongue in annoyance when his doorbell suddenly rang. He wiped his hands off on a towel before going to tell off whoever it was that was interrupting his very limited free time. It was bad enough he was already getting an earful from his manger while he was trying to relax. He ripped open the door and felt a hint of surprise when he had to lower his angry red eyes to find the unexpected visitor. It was a little girl.
“What the hell?” Bakugo leaned out of the doorway a bit to look for an adult that might be accompanying the child but she seemed to be all alone. His manager paused their lecture to ask if he was all right. “Yeah, but I’m going to have to call you back,” Bakugo hangs up the phone and looks back at the little girl who was glaring up at him with familiar red eyes. Her long dark hair was dirty and matted. She had scrapes and bruises all over her arms and face.
“Do you need help or something?” Bakugo asks awkwardly as he tries to slip into his comforting hero voice. “Where are your parents?”
“Mommy left and didn’t come back,” the little girl scowls and crosses her arms. She then tells Bakugo her mother’s name, causing the man to freeze up in shock at the implication. “She said you were my daddy.” Bakugo just stands speechless for a few moments as his brain tries to catch up with what he’d just heard. He knew the girl’s mom, but he hadn’t seen her in about four years. They’d had a bit of a summer romance right at the beginning of his hero career before she’d suddenly disappeared, never to be heard from again.
Bakugo lets his eyes scan over the little girl once more. He couldn’t deny she had his eyes and his scowl. He felt irritated that his summer fling hadn’t even had the decency to tell him she’d gotten pregnant. He squats down to look more closely at the dirt and injuries all over the girl’s body.
“Who did this to you?” he asks, trying to keep the gruffness from his voice. Some emotion cracks through the little girl’s false bravado then and she looks down at her bare feet shyly.
“Mommy…” she whispers. Bakugo takes a deep breath to calm the rage that boiled up inside him and offers a hand to the little girl.
“Mommy left me too,” he confesses. “But she’s not going to hurt either of us ever again, okay?” The little girl looks up at her dad, a tentative hope blossoming in her eyes. Bakugo knew this was going to impact his life in a huge way, but at the moment he only cared about getting to know his daughter and making up for lost time. “Are you hungry?” The little girl nods her head eagerly and he leads her into his apartment. He would get her cleaned up and fed before getting started on all the legal stuff he’d undoubtedly have to endure before she could really be his daughter completely. His mind was already coming up with ways to fit parenting into his work schedule though, and he found himself looking forward to spending as much time with his little girl as possible.
Iida
Iida assumed he was going to have another normal morning as he sat at his desk, looking over his patrol route for the day. He’d taken over his family’s hero agency not too long ago, but he was already used to the daily routine. All the experiences he’d lived through during high school, not to mention growing up in a family of heroes, had prepared him for most scenarios he would encounter as a pro. He had no reason to suspect that anything out of the ordinary would happen, even as he heard the knock on his office door.
“Come in,” he calls out while standing up to start putting on his hero costume. The door blasts open and a young girl runs into the room.
“Daddy!” she shouts as she runs right up to him and throws her arms around his waist. Iida looks down at the girl in shock before glancing towards the door where one of his sidekicks stood looking as confused as he felt.
“Sorry for the intrusion,” the sidekick says a bit awkwardly. “One of the interns found her wandering outside. She was asking people to help her find you, her dad.”
Iida wanted to deny the claim immediately. He would definitely know if he had a child, especially one who looked to be around eight years old. The idea became a lot less preposterous as he looked back down at the girl. Her hair color was as white as snow, a complete contrast to his dark blue. The thing that gave him pause were the two legs sticking out from under the dirty skirt the girl was wearing. Her legs looked skinny, too skinny, aside from her calves which had tiny exhaust pipes sticking out of them. The girl looks up at him after a moment to meet his gaze. His breathe catches in his throat at her blue eyes and checkmark shaped eyebrows that were iconic to the Iida family.
“Uh, thank you,” Iida felt flustered as he looks back at his sidekick who was blatantly starting at him in shock. “I’ll handle this from here. Do you mind asking someone to take over my patrol?” The sidekick accepts the job and hurries off, leaving Iida alone with the girl. Part of him felt really embarrassed that this had happened in front of his coworkers. He couldn’t imagine what they must think of him now. He definitely didn’t seem like the type to be involved with something that could be perceived as scandalous.
“What is your mother’s name?” Iida asks, even though he was sure he already knew. The list of possibilities was very small. The little girl goes up on her tiptoes and Iida bends down to meet her so she can whisper in his ear. He sighs heavily at the name that falls from her lips. It was just further confirmation that this wasn’t some crazy misunderstanding. The information settles into his mind. He was a father.
“Please don’t make me go back to her though,” the girl’s eyes brim with tears as she searches Iida’s face for comfort. “She’s scary.” Iida understood how the girl felt. If given the option, he would choose never to see that woman again either. She had only dated him for a brief time, pretending to be in love with him in order to take advantage of his fame until she found someone higher up in the ranks to seduce. He had been so shocked and heart broken when she’d left him so suddenly, but now there was no way to hide from that mistake of his past.
“Why do you say she’s scary?” Iida asks while putting a hand on the girl’s shoulder. She winces and flinches away from his touch. He narrows his eyes in concern and asks her to roll up her sleeves. His heart fills with sadness at the welts marring her frail arms. “I see,” he frowns. “I promise you won’t have to see her again if you don’t want to, but can you tell me where she lives?”
“I don’t know. We always have to sleep outside,” the girl explains warily, painting a rather sad image of her life.
“Well that just won’t do,” he pats her on the head. “I’m going to make sure you have a comfy, warm bed to sleep in from now on.” The girl’s face lights up happily and she hugs Iida even tighter. The shame he’d felt initially was gone now, replaced by a determination to provide his daughter with the best life possible.
Aizawa
Between all his hero work and being a full time teacher, Aizawa’s opportunities to simply sleep for a couple consecutive hours were few and far between. He took any chance he could to just shut his eyes and rest for a while. Tonight he’d hoped to get a decent amount of sleep in before having to wake up at the crack of dawn to attend a UA staff meeting. However, it seemed fate had other plans for him.
It was around one in the morning when a knock on his front door pulled him from the depths of his much needed slumber. He rubbed the exhaustion from his eyes as he rolled out of bed, not even having the energy to be annoyed. “Who is it?” He asks while putting on his slippers and shuffling over to the door. There was no answer, so he pressed his face up to the peep hole. He let out a groan when he saw a random kid standing outside. If this was some kind of prank, he wasn’t sure he had the strength of mind to deal with it at this hour. He already put up with a whole class of teenagers every day who drained him of every drop of patience he had.
“Can I help you?” Aizawa mumbles after opening the door. The young boy in front of him looked to be about thirteen years old. The ends of his dark burgundy hair were frayed and had been cut sloppily as if he’d done it himself. He had outgrown his clothes a while ago, and they appeared uncomfortably small on his skinny frame. The poor kid looked extremely dirty and smelled even worse.
“Do you know this woman?” the haggard boy holds out an old photograph of a person Aizawa recognized immediately. It had been a very long time, but he’d never forget the face of the first woman he’d ever been with. He’d been so young and naïve at the time, and he still felt bitter toward the friend who’d set him up with a woman with such an atrocious personality. Aizawa knew right then and there that he wasn’t going to be getting back to sleep anytime soon.
“This is my mother,” the boy states the obvious fact. “And apparently you’re my dad.” Aizawa had no reason not to believe him as he looked into the boy’s tired eyes that matched his own. It was clear that life had not been kind to the kid so far.
“Come on in,” Aizawa invites his son inside, deciding to wait to involve the proper authorities until morning. “You can take a hot shower, and I think I have some leftovers we can heat up.”
“A shower?” the boy looked overwhelmed, as if the promise of a shower was more than he’d ever dared to hope for. Aizawa was growing more concerned with each passing second.
“Where is your mother now?” He asks and the boy shrugs.
“I haven’t seen her in a couple weeks,” he states as if that were normal. “I think she met some new guy.” That was enough to put Aizawa’s teeth on edge.
“Where have you been staying then?” he asks.
“Wherever I can,” the boy replies, sounding embarrassed. “Park benches, bus stops, train stations…” Aizawa was horrified. What kind of person left their child to survive in those conditions? Why hadn’t she ever reached out to him for help?
“What are these?” Aizawa reaches out to snatch up the boys arm. Now that he was inside where the lighting was better, he could see strange scars and scabs covering his skin.
“Cigarette burns,” the boy pulls his arm away and averts his eyes. “Mom thought it would make people more willing to help when I had to beg for money.” Aizawa felt his eyes fill with tears at the words, and he doesn’t think twice before pulling his son into his arms. The boy returns the embrace, clinging to Aizawa as if he feared the man might disappear if he didn’t hold on tight enough.
“What’s going to happen now?” the boy asks fearfully after he calms down a bit.
“You’re more than welcome to stay with me,” Aizawa finds himself accepting the role of father rather quickly. He was already responsible for so many kids already, he didn’t see the harm in adding one more to the list. “If that’s something you’re comfortable with.”
“Yes, please!” The boy nods his head, looking ecstatic as he wiped away his tears. Aizawa nods his head and pats his son on the shoulder.
“Well then kid,” he says with a small smile. “Welcome home.”

The Thief and the Tinker, Part 3: I See Fire
part 2
Part 3
Viren: Well how do you suggest we get him out?
Claudia: *grins, brandishes marshmallow on toasting fork* Unharmed is just another kind of harmed
Viren: Claudia no
Claudia: Claudia YES
I See Fire
Angst rating: 9/10
Viren is clever enough not to take the Silvergrove on alone, no matter how badly he wants Ethari to make him a magic key. Aaravos could be cooking in that pod for a while longer, but Viren still has a trustworthy and badass ally at his side.
Oh yeah, it's Claudia Time again!
Claudia is a powerful and imaginative dark mage, and she has the tainted Sun staff. So, you're the magefam, and you've made it to Xadia, to the edges of the Moonshadow Forest. And all you need to do to get the power of your dreams is to threaten one soft craftsman. But how do you find one specific Moonshadow elf in a hidden Moonshadow village somewhere in the middle of a giant spooky magical forest?
You burn him out.
Tumblr media
Credit once again to@random-fandom-ramble for reminding me of this forest fire headcanon, because it fits so well. and so I don't get all the blame for this one, lol
Because see, that's not ordinary fire. Oh, no. That's dark magic fire. We've seen that before. It leaves permanent scars. Remember Sol Regem's eyes?
Tumblr media
That's going to be the landscape when Claudia's fire gets through with the Moonshadow elves' home. Where I live on the US West Coast, they name forest fires, and if they combine, they get called complexes. So maybe we can name this fire the Dark Tragedy Complex? Because I do have to wonder... you could start a dark magic forest fire easily with a tainted Sun staff, but how do you put it out?
Two things are going to happen if these events should unfold. One is angsty. The other is also angsty but then amazing.
Firstly, Viren is going to get what he wants. He'll find Ethari, whose tree burned down :(. He'll show him the coins, and he'll offer a trade. Build what he wants and make it work, and Ethari can have his family back, uncoined and free.
And Ethari will say yes.
He'll say yes no matter what anyone else tries to persuade him to do, and I hope they do try, because see: Ethari has to make it look good. He has to make it look like he's all in on Viren's plan, to Viren. Even if that means turning his back on his people in their time of greatest need.
Secondly, the Moonshadow elves are going to be collectively homeless and bereft, hungry, injured, terrified, angry. They will have nowhere to go. They will be a people without a home. And no one else in Xadia will help them. Maybe they're too terrified to hide Ethari's people in case doing so brings Viren down on them, too. We've seen how ordinary elves flee in terror from dark magic. Maybe they're all fighting other issues, too. Viren knows all about stretching resources too far during times of crisis. Whatever the case, there will be no welcome anywhere in Xadia for the Moonshadow elves of the Moonshadow Forest.
But here's where it gets amazing. Because one hand will reach out. One small hand, from across the border. Good King Ezran will stand up on the seat of his throne and say, "You can stay here. I have forests. You're tired, you're hungry. You need medicine. Let me help."
And I'm gonna cry like a little baby.
How many cycles does this break, how many circles does it complete? Moonshadow elves used to live in Katolis before the border was created. When humans were under threat of total annihilation, the Moonshadow leader's daughter spoke up and asked for mercy. That mercy came in the form of land reassignment, and the Moonshadow elves had to give up their ancestral home, their Nexus, and travel east across the new Border. But that mercy got paired with justice, and the life-loving Moon Druids probably had to swear some kind of blood promise to keep an eye on the humans forevermore, and to kill any individuals who got out of hand, as if their sins were the Moonshadows' responsibility now.
That's got to breed a little resentment, a little superiority. "Look what we sacrificed for you, and this is how you act. Ungrateful." And maybe that was partially Luna Tenebris's goal: to hold to her vision of justice, she had to make the elves who shared her arcanum feel a little resentment. Moonshadows love life, but we can't have them being too soft to keep Xadia safe from dark mages, now, can we? I will never stop cackling over dragon politics okay, never
But the Moonshadow elves never figured on King Ezran. A soft boy who refused to let his father's assassination harden his heart, because every life is genuinely important to him. I've seen headcanons for Ezran getting the Sun, Earth, Ocean, and Stars arcanum. How about Moon, too? Because this is very Ethari of him, and if these stories of Viren's plan and the Moonshadow elves' displacement were actually to happen in tandem, the contrast between Ezran's soft choice and Ethari's hard one would be mindblowing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ezran completes the circle by inviting the Moonshadow elves to return to Katolis, to their ancestral home. They left long ago, paying the price for an act of mercy, but they were welcomed back by the mercy of humans, repaid after a thousand years, repaid in the face of tragedy. Tragedy on all sides. Tragedy Ezran wants to stop from happening, by being brave and caring and soft, and by being the first to break this thousand-year cycle between Katolis and the Moonshadow elves.
Rayla is his friend. And these are her people. It won't matter what they've done, only that they need help in a time of great desperation. And of course he'll help them. He's Ezran, and he's Katolis's greatest treasure.
Oh, what's that you say? Inviting the Moonshadow elves to settle in Katolis again would make it easier for Rayla to live with Callum in the future? Oh gosh, how about that? What a deal. *smug matchmaker noises*
And once the Moonshadow elves understand that they're safe and begin to trust Ezran--which could happen very quickly, because saving a Moonshadow elf's life when you didn't need to is a really fast way to prove you're trustworthy--maybe Ezran will be encouraged to take the next step toward peace, and eventually other elves and dragons will come to meet together to talk it over. And Ez will offer them jelly tarts, which they will love.
Tumblr media
Back to Ethari, because we're not done with him yet. Ethari is soft, but he isn't weak. He won't be a willing pawn for Viren. He loves Runaan to the point of invention, and his devotion is more constant than the moon itself. He'll agree to do what Viren says, and he'll be Very Sad. But his spirit is in no way broken. Viren bribing him with the coins containing his family will only have the opposite effect. It'll give Ethari something to fight for.
We could get Focused Chaos Ethari. We could get Angery Trickster Ethari. We could get Rules, What Rules? Ethari. Let him try to steal the coins, try to break them, try to kill Viren, and be stymied at every turn, until he settles and seems cowed. And then all he does is craft his way out of the problem. What if we are gifted with Iron Man Ethari, who pretends to build a fake Key for Viren, but meanwhile he's really building a coinbuster with whatever he can get his hands on - primal stones, magically imbued gemstones, stolen artifacts, his own arcanum, his own reputation as the Master Craftsman of the Silvergrove. He'll use almost- almost - anything, to stop Viren and free his family.
Ethari may have to choose between those two things, though. And he's a hero, deep down, just like his family, just like his daughter. If he has to choose, he'll choose to stop Viren and save Xadia. He'll pay the same price as his family has if he must.
He'd let Viren think he was motivated purely by wanting his family back, but Ethari is far too steeped in the illusion and sacrifice for that to be all there is to his motives. It's a so-close-and-yet-so-far thing, how he and Viren almost embody the same ideals. Almost. Ethari would take one look at Viren, who just burnt down his whole Forest, he'd see the biggest threat in Xadia, and he'd say anything to get a chance to stop this juggernaut of destruction from getting his hands on whatever that ultimate power really is, locked behind that missing key. If he has to abandon his people and bawl his eyes out to convince Viren he's in, then he will.
And Viren wouldn't make it easy for him. He knows clever when he sees it. He went through all this trouble to persuade Ethari to work with him. He would need to keep Ethari as off-balance as possible to ensure that he keeps working as he should.
Angsty jewelry, anyone: Viren giving Ethari his husband in pendant form to remind him what he's working for, when Viren and Ethari both know full well that only dark magic can open the hellcoins. Ethari wearing another pendant of his love, except it's not a metaphor this time. It's literally his love, in a coin around his neck.
Viren would know that Ethari would have to stay close to Viren of his own free will if he ever hoped to free Runaan. And making people bind themselves to you is a big power flex. Remember that TDP stream future-season teaser note about Bait being in a creepy restraint in a future season?
Tumblr media
This card is written on in all-caps, so that really could be "Bait" or "bait," or--knowing this show--both. Viren's been using Runaan as bait for Ethari all along. Putting his coin in a dark magic pendant casing for Ethari to wear would be a great parallel for that. Oh god. Oh man.
Maybe he'll stab the coin's scary casing right through that circle on Ethari's chest, right over his heart, make that Iron Man reference really obvious. Ethari also losing his shirt at some point, for angsty Viren-related reasons? It's more likely than you think. I mean... Ethari is literally involved in both forms of forging at this point. Shirt's gotta come off for uhhhh work reasons. And because he's hot. Because of all the forging. I mean how else are we finally going to discover what his markings look like
I mentioned that I liked god-tier villains, right? Yeah, this is amazing. I haven't wanted to die and ascend over an idea for quite a while, but Ethari vs Viren in a drawn-out battle of wills would kill me in the best way. Especially since, while it looks like they're essentially fighting for who gets Runaan, they're truly fighting a much larger battle with much higher stakes. They're fighting for the future itself. It's an epic struggle between the Narrative of Strength and the Narrative of Love. And we've seen what happens, over and over, when the Narrative of Strength gets to call the shots.
On a meta note: If Runaan and Ethari's story arc isn't a love letter from one trauma survivor to another, and on a broader scope to all survivors who see it, I don't know what is. Sometimes life just chews us up and spits us out and we can't stop it and it breaks us. But sometimes we can reach out and grasp the chance to help each other, even after that, even when it hurts a lot, because we know what it means to be loved, and to love, and to want a safer future for each other and for people we'll never meet. The future is worth standing together for, helping each other back up for, fighting side by side for, even if you can't see how it'll end, or even how to begin. We are stronger together, and sometimes we need to fight for our "together" before we can fight for anything else. And that's worth it, every time.
This is glorious, it's beautiful, it's tragic, it's amazing, it makes me want to dance, it makes me want to scream into the void, it makes me want to slap someone with a semi truck. No, someone specific, don't worry, and he super deserves it.
Because Ethari is going to win. He was always going to win. He's soft, and he's clever, and he hasn't forgotten what love means. It's what he's fighting for. Not power, not control. Love. He doesn't want to dictate Runaan's future, or anyone else's. He just wants his husband--and everyone else--to have one at all.
So he's going to win.
What beating Viren looks like, I can't guess yet. TDP is no stranger to angst, so there will probably be a high cost involved in thwarting the dark mage. Maybe not everyone can be rescued from the coins. Maybe Ethari will lose his life, or his soul, or his vision, or something else really angsty. Viren could even kill him and resurrect him as a smoky craftsman, or a zombie craftsman, or something equally biddable but horrible. The only thing I'm sure of is that Ethari would never willingly make a working Key of Aaravos Ethari as long as there's a chance Viren could possess it. But I do believe that if he gets the right opportunity while he's busy saving the world from Viren's dark intentions, he'll break his husband's hellcoin open somehow and set him free, even if he has to smile at the devil to do it.

Note
is it comfortable for you to talk about how you left JW? im too young to live on my own and i don't think i could run away but i would like advice/tips on how to leave once i can.
Okay so what I did is basically a warning story of what not to do
I was eighteen, in senior year of high school, having a mental breakdown. I am on the verge of fucking snapping and it is obvious. The school had already tried to get me put in foster care but the state wouldn’t make an exception even though I was still a student, so at that point I had detailed information on how to check into a homeless shelter and a secret pseudo-suicide watch where I had to stop by the office every morning to check in because they wanted to make sure at least one adult knew where I was and how alive I was lol
And my younger sister starts having doubts, and I tried to encourage that, subtly. But I was also going through a ton of shit and couldn’t put in my best effort towards it, and she just tried harder and harder to make Witness doctrine make sense to her, and then she started considering baptism
I was extremely nihilistic about my own life at this point. So I decided I was going to tell my family everything, and show my sister that there were other options, that is was possible to leave Jehovahs Witnesses and have a different life
The only smart decision I made in this entire thing was I told the office staff what I was going to do beforehand, and they made me sit down and come up with a safety plan first
So anyway I gather my family together right after dinner one night and say “I’m disassociating myself.” My sister turns around and walks out of the room. My parents basically interrogate me for the next two hours. When I go back to my room and check my phone, all my JW friends had blocked me on every digital platform they could
In the time afterwards, my sister did not talk to me at all, did not even look at me as much as she could avoid it, and threw herself into witnessing so she could avoid being at the house. I had a judicial committee, I was told I could not actually disassociate myself due to not being baptized, my mental health and schooling tanked. I was hospitalized four times. I was not exactly making a compelling argument for the freedom of leaving the Org. I was barely alive, and not functioning at all
My sister got baptized. She’s a regular pioneer now
I did not have any money saved up and that whole year was so rough mentally that I had to finish high school online, I certainly wasn’t in any position to handle a job. I fucked up my college classes I had been taking, I got debts from them, and I got even bigger debts from the hospitalizations. Because of how poorly I handled that, I am still broke and living with my family, who will shun me once I leave but weren’t *required* to kick me out yet. And believe me, it has been hell
Don’t do what I did. Don’t react emotionally to any sudden changes. Save up money like your life depends on it, and be as careful as you can about information getting out. I ended up staging things in a way that made it very confrontational. It didn’t have to be like that. If you want, you can write your family a letter, and give them space to read it. You don’t have to answer questions that are invasive, you don’t have to go to a judicial hearing, you don’t have to play by any Witness rules once you say you aren’t gonna any more. In fact, you don’t have to explain anything, and can just fade quietly if you want
But like seriously with the money thing. And you do need to come up with a real plan rather than just winging it when things get tough. Since you have some time, use it. It can put you at a great advantage

LIKE ITS 2010
tagged by @oceanstatic yes i was looking for it lol
When you were younger, were you ever in a relationship with someone you now realize was way too old for you? yeah but thanks to my parents protecting me it never became a relationship. i’m glad about that, cause you never know, but i don’t think he had bad intentions. he was a fun prom date, years after my parents made me stop seeing him. but by then i was almost 18. and nothing happened. it’s a good memory. Is your family dysfunctional? not really but i think we pretend to be more normal than we are lol How old were you the first time you traveled alone?
I walked around unfamiliar countries alone when I was 15 but I actually traveled alone out of the country at 20 to New Zealand.
When did you last leave the state/province you live in? january to visit my mom for her birthday Did you ever take an intro to law class in high school/college/uni? never Is there anything you feel like you need a break from? technology, being inside, on computers hunched over ow my back
What do you hate to hear people joke about? mental health, child abuse
What architectural style was your childhood home? Cookie-cutter suburbia. (keeping your answer @oceanstatic) Have you ever been in a situation where you had to live off of savings? no, fortunately but I think it’s coming when I go to grad school Tell me a bit about your last relationship. What was it like dating them? the one before this one? hmm. boring and full of anger. we never did anything but we had only been together for 4 months. and he said things like “i’m not racist i have black friends” !!!!! Have you ever been in weather so severe that you feared for your safety? yes when i worked at the country club! I had to do things outside to close for the shift but in the summer where i live we have thunderstorms almost every day. i would be out there in an empty golf field and see lightning strike so close. i would try to wait until it would pass but it’s just so constant sometimes and i’m on the clock and wanted to go home so i would hurry and try to get the golf cart in the garage etc and it was so scary
there was also a time when i was a kid that my dad was driving near a tornado. we didn’t see the tornado but there was a warning where we were and we were near washington DC when this happened trying to drive home. i remember our car was lifting off the ground and he was trying to cross train tracks. the “train is coming” signal arms were going up and down and up and down over and over again. we didn’t know if a train was actually coming or if it was a power fail. so he just kinda went for it. it was terrifying.
there was also a time in new zealand i experienced an earth quake. i thought it was my bunkmate beneath me being really restless, cause i was half asleep, but then someone woke me up and said we have to go outside because there was a 7.8 magnitude earthquake.
What political issues are the most important to you personally?
quality public education and affordable childcare. so many things matter to me in politics but this is one of the first things i look at when considering a candidate. What small thing makes you automatically distrust someone?
talking about another person behind their back to me that i know they consider their friend. it basically means you’re talking about me, too, behind my back.  What countries have you been to?
Norway, Sweden, Finland, Greece, Italy, New Zealand, U.S. (I live in), The Bahamas and Canada. What’s the kindest thing a total stranger has done for you? Nothing comes to mind.
Do you have any pets? If so, how old are they?
My dog Mary Jane I love her so much she is 5 years old we think. She’s a rescue so I don’t know for sure. She is a literal angel. I’m so grateful I found her.
Where do you want to live?
I used to want to move out west. I just want to be happy now. and be with my family. After I get my masters degree I want to be closer to my friends and family from back home. That’s what matters most in life is being near my family and right now they are so far. As long as I have my love, GOOD FRIENDS, my dog, a job I love and trails to bike on and just a home I feel safe and happy in I will be happy. Are you working full-time?
Yes but this pandemic has changed everything. I miss being in the field with my children and I worry about them every day. I can’t contact them. I made them cards. I think the addresses will reach them but some are homeless and I’m not sure if these will actually reach them. We might be able to put some things online but I teach preschool in the roughest areas of where I live and most of my kids don’t have internet, transportation, so I’m pretty sure some are more worried about meeting their basic needs than preschool enrichment right now to be frank. All my staff is figuring out how to navigate this together and I admire everyone’s adaptability. I just hope we can reach our families and help them and teach our students but I’m heartbroken knowing that some of my kids are missing out on essential speech and behavioral services they can’t get over a computer. I feel pretty powerless. I can do read-alouds and activities online which help working parents and help children’s literacy skills, I can brush up on professional development, but that connection and time with my children is lost. I’m literally grieving.
What are your favorite hobbies?
Mountain biking, penny boarding, tennis, thrift shopping
If you could instantly change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
more confident, less nervous around other people.
What’s something not a lot of people know about you?
I don’t know. a lot of people when they first meet me think I’m really innocent, timid, and inexperienced, but I have done a lot of things and I have a lot to share. I just don’t share it unless I’m asked.

Unknown Fate - Part One
KRISTANNA WEEK 2018 ~ Nov 6th - Prompt: Shelter
Kristanna Canon Divergence AU (Multi-Chapter)
Rated: T
WC: 4108
~ Okay, I started writing this in the late summer based solely on this opening scene when it randomly popped into my head one day, therefore I apologize ahead of time for the disjointed and weak plot that accompanies it, lol!  But hey it fits with today’s prompt!
_______________
Anna never thought she’d find herself in the streets without a home, begging for scraps that no one could afford to give.   As the crown Princess of Arendelle, she never thought she would ever want for simple things, like food and shelter.
How the tables could turn…
Now she was nothing but a homeless beggar.  A vagrant. Someone with no practical skills in which to get herself a job, forced to live on the streets, unable to support herself in the most basic of ways.  Maybe if she had left with more than just the clothes on her back she could have figured something out.  She supposed she should feel lucky to even have made it out alive.  She should be grateful.
Instead she was filled with fear and anger to accompany the constant ache of her hunger.
Sometimes she got lucky. Every once in a while, a merchant would take pity on her, throwing some stale bread at her feet.  Most of the time she was simply told to move along and stop chasing away paying customers.
If only they knew…
Nights once spent in the castle, warm in her lavish bed with a fire burning brightly in the hearth, were now replaced by cold, sleepless nights in which she shivered uncontrollably, stomach cramping painfully from hunger.
Once upon a time she used to think she knew what hunger felt like.  It was but a papercut compared to the gaping wound of pain in her abdomen now.
That was why she had come to the market to steal.  She was too hungry to try and beg for hours.  She already saw her target; a bag of food hanging from a sled.  The last stall at the market was an easy getaway. Just take it and run.
Anna eyed the apple and the carrots, saliva pooling in her mouth.  How long had it been since she’d had a fresh piece of fruit or veg?  She couldn’t remember.  Maybe she should beg.  Surely the man could spare a single carrot for her.  Or the apple?
Anna licked her lips at the thought of biting into its shiny red skin.
The man suddenly turned around and Anna changed her position, shrinking back against the wall and dropping her eyes.  She never felt his gaze on her, probably too focused on setting up to notice a lowly peasant woman.   She had begged and stolen from enough merchants to recognize when they were paying her attention or not.
The big blond turned back and hopped up into the sleigh, moving more ice blocks to the back for easier access.  Anna surveyed the bag of food again.  It was too close to him for her not to be caught red handed.  She needed him to be distracted.  She needed someone to buy ice from him.
It was early however and the market had barely opened.  She knew she would have to wait, despite the sharp pain in her belly.  Lucky she was good at biding her time.  She had more practice in that than she ever thought she would.
She resigned to watch him from the corner of her eye.  After he seemed to have the ice where he wanted it, the hard-working purveyor stood and wiped a forearm across his brow.  Anna couldn’t remember a time when she had seen a man so big.  When she was young, to her the guards in the castle had always seemed like big, barrel chested, impossibly strong men.  This guy almost to put them to shame.  She didn’t want to steal from him, she didn’t want to steal from anybody really, but she wouldn’t dare to beg this man.  If the scowl he’d been wearing on his face was any indication, she would likely be told to scram if she asked for a single carrot.
It wasn’t like she was going to steal that much.   Just grab the apple and run.  Okay, maybe a carrot too, but that was all.  She was almost positive with the size of the man that there would be plenty more in the bottom of the sack.  Maybe some dried meats, or some fresh rolls, or perhaps – gasp –  even a pastry!?
Anna gripped her middle as her stomach rumbled painfully.  Best not to think about such delicacies.
Instead she thought about the past.
The events of that day felt like an eternity ago.  The gates were finally open for her sister’s coronation.  Open for the first time that Anna could even remember.  She was headed out into the town to enjoy her exuberance. She was almost free too, when she was summoned back into the castle to prepare for the ceremony at the last minute.  She didn’t even know why she had to be there. No one gave her anything to do. All she was tasked with, was where to stand.  Apparently, Elsa didn’t even think she would get that right as Kai went over with her again the precise events of the coronation.
Late at nights, when she was too cold to sleep, Anna would often wonder what would have happened had she been able to explore the kingdom that afternoon.  Maybe she would have been able to talk to a few people and work out the nervous jitters from having no one to converse with except for staff and the paintings in the castle gallery for all those years.  Would she have been less awkward with the gorgeous man who approached her during the dance?  Maybe.  Probably. Instead she had gotten tongue tied and the dashing, young man – although he had laughed it off – gave Anna the feeling that she was making a fool of herself.
Flustered and impossibly embarrassed, she had disappeared down the expansive halls and out onto the roof where she went to be alone.
Staring up into the starry sky that night, she wondered what was going to become of her sister now that she was Queen.  Anna had no doubt that she would close the gates again.  Could Anna really live like that the rest of her life?  Shut off from the world again.  Alone.  She didn’t think so.
In truth, she knew she couldn’t.  She simply could not live like that anymore.
This night was her one chance.  Her once chance to branch out and try to change the way things had been since she could remember.   She had to go back to the party and try again.
Wiping the tears from her eyes, she put a smile on her face and headed back down to the ball, only to find out that people were leaving as Elsa had put an early end to the festivities.
Feeling ill, was her excuse. She was no longer in the ball room when Anna returned.  Anna knew she would be in her expansive room, the one her parents used to have, doing Gods knows what.
The thing that absolutely crushed her soul, was to see the lovely green eyes of the dashing, auburn-haired fellow being ushered out of the main entrance, looking at her with clear regret and a hint of longing.
If only she had stayed! If only she had simply sucked it up and laughed off her own awkwardness to continue talking to him.  She suddenly realized that living in the castle walls without companionship since her parents died, had left her completely naive to normal social interaction.
And where was Elsa through all of this?  Locked tightly away in her room, shutting her out like always.
Anna’s anger boiled over and she stormed up the stairs, finally ready to unleash her emotions on her sister.  She was not prepared to see what she did when opened the door to his sisters room without knocking…
“Ay, how much for a block?”
Anna had been so caught up in the past that she didn’t even realize the blond had a customer.  This was going to be her only chance.  She needed to act fast or she was going to starve all day.
Quick and quiet, she tiptoed up to the side of the sled as the big guy turned to talk to the customer. She didn’t pay attention to what they were saying, it didn’t matter.  She was focused on grabbing the food and slipping away unnoticed.
Anna ducked when she got closer, hunching forward as she crept slowly ahead along the front of the sled. She was so close.  She reached up and grasped the apple, prepared to turn around immediately, when she hesitated.  She was just so hungry, she reached up with her other hand and grabbed however many carrots she could manage in her tiny palm.  She was turning to escape when someone suddenly grasped her forearm.
She looked down at the big, warm hand clamped on her arm, then followed it up to the frowning face of the man who was selling ice.
“What do you think you are doing?” he growled.
This was not the first time she had been caught.  She immediately turned on the waterworks.
“Please, sir.  I am sorry,” she cried quietly, making herself tear up.  “I am just a lowly beggar in need of food.”
“You’re a thief,” he countered calmly, his frown deepening.
“I’m so hungry,” Anna pleaded, ready to amp up her voice and wail if it was called for.
That’s when his eyes changed and his face softened with them.
“I would have given them to you if you had asked,” he sighed, releasing her arm.
Anna’s first instinct was to run.  Run away and find a corner to fill her belly with ravenous teeth.  Instead she paused, taken aback by the reaction she had never gotten before.
“Go on, take what you need,” he gestured to the sack on the sled.  “You look like you haven’t eaten in days.”
Anna suddenly burst into real tears.  She had forgotten what simple kindness felt like.  She suddenly felt terrible for every morsel of food that she had ever stolen, even if it had saved her life more than once.  She would have dropped the apple as she collapsed onto her knees, had she not been so aware of how valuable fresh food could be.
“Forgive me,” she wailed, snot bubbling from her nose as tears spilled mercilessly from her closed lids. “I don’t mean to steal, I am just so hungry.  Please forgive me,” she choked.
“Hey, hey, hey,”
She suddenly realized that she could feel the heat pouring off of him and the breath of his speech on her cheek.  “Stop, okay? I’m not mad, just, please stop crying!” he hissed.  “You’re making a scene!”
Anna pulled in gulps of air until she was able to control her sobs.  When she thought she had herself under control, she finally opened her eyes and looked up at his face.
The compassion from his brown eyes nearly took her breath away.  He was kneeling with his big forearm bracing himself on his other bent leg, looking at her closely.  When was the last time someone had looked at her so closely?  No one ever gave her a second glance.  People could barely even look at her for how dirty and disheveled she had become.  Often times they would sneer at her when shooing her away or throwing her scraps that were headed for the garbage.
Why was this man so different?
They both turned when someone cleared their throat.  The big man took to his feet to attend to the customer while Anna remained where she was, too stunned from the interaction to move.  It took hardly any time before the blond came back and sat down beside her with a sigh as he leaned his back against the wheel of the sled and propped his elbows on his folded knees.
“Everyone is giving me gears about my prices this morning,” he grumbled.  “When they get to the end of the market they’ll end up buying from the other guys even though my prices are lower, just because they don’t want to double back.”
Anna watched as he studied his own hands while he spoke.  They were large, his fingers thick and covered with callouses. Working-man’s hands.  She’d never seen hands like his up close.
“I’ve been there,” he offered quietly when Anna didn’t respond.  “I’ve been desperate and hungry.  It sucks.”  He finally turned and looked at her, eyes so kind that Anna wanted to cry again.  “I’m here every couple of days.  Next time just come and ask, I’ll give you whatever you need.”
Without another word he lumbered to his feet and walked around the side of the sled to peddle his ice. Anna waited a moment but he never came back.  She finally got up and took a brisk pace away from the market to a place she liked to sleep in a forgotten stable of a run-down Inn.
When she had settled herself in the filthy corner of a horse stall, she looked down at the apple and carrots in her hands.  They might as well have been gold they were so valuable to her.  Still, she regretting taking them even after the stranger told her to help herself.
She might have pondered him further had she not been able to smell the apple in her lap.  She picked it up with a dirty hand and lifted it to her mouth, taking one last pause to appreciate it before she bit into the flesh.
It was so crisp!  So sweet!  Her eyes rolled back into her head and she let out a guttural moan at how good it tasted. She was in heaven, suddenly back in the palace, munching on an apple as she read a book by the window in the library.
No, not there.  She was cold and alone, her stomach cramping painfully as she ate.  She needed to slow down.  She’d had nothing but stale bread for so long that she needed to take it easy lest she throw up the first real food she’d had in weeks.  Despite her hunger she paused, taking time to consider the exchange with the man again.
She wouldn’t go back there. He was too kind.  It felt like a cheat to beg from him every time he was in the market.  She couldn’t rely on him to feed her.  No, she would find food elsewhere.  She needed to remember how to survive.
Yet his eyes had been knowing.  He admitted that he understood.  Did he offer this to every beggar that came to him?  Everyone whom he caught steeling?  If so, how would he have any food left for himself?  How could he afford it if he had a hard time selling ice?
Why did Anna care so much?
She knew why.  It was the way he looked into her eyes and didn’t sweep a disgusted gaze at her tattered clothes and filthy skin like everyone else.  It was the fact that she felt he was truly understanding.  Perhaps she should give herself a break and accept some help, even if it put the man at an inconvenience.
Anna nibbled on the end of a carrot as she thought about him.  She wasn’t sure how long she was caught up into her own mind when she realized that she had eaten the apple – almost the entire core itself – and the three tiny carrots she’d managed to grab.   She was still hungry.  She didn’t think she’d ever not be hungry anymore.  At least she was able to find sleep, pondering if she would see the ice man again.
*****
Anna staked out his spot in the market for six days, resigned to the fact that he probably wasn’t coming back, when he finally showed up on the seventh day.
During that time, she had begged and pleaded, having been given virtually nothing.  Eventually she had resorted to stealing scraps once more. Seeing him again had brought back her deep shame.
From the shadows she watched as he pulled some ice from his sled for a paying customer.  He moved the big blocks like they weighed nothing. Such endurance was incredible, even from a man of his size.  When he was finished the transaction, he reached into the bag on the side of the sled and fed a couple carrots to his reindeer as he patted the beast on the head with a faint smile.
Anna suddenly turned away, unable to take advantage of his good nature.    On one hand she needed to survive and on the other she didn’t want to take from someone who seemed so good hearted.  The other merchants were often ruthless, even booting her in the shins to get her to go away.   Never before had she encountered someone like him.  Perhaps that was the reason she turned back and peered at him again from her hiding spot.
Her mind was a whirlwind of indecision.  She stared longingly at the man who would give her food, too ashamed to take it from him.
It wasn’t until he returned to the back of the sled to wait for a customer that he started glancing around. Anna suddenly realized he was looking for her.  Deep in the shadows she knew he wouldn’t spot her, until his eyes swept past her hiding spot and came back to lock onto her gaze.
No one had ever done that to her before.  His face remained stoic as he nodded ever so slightly, acknowledging her where she cowered, letting her know to come to him when she was ready.  It took her a time before she gathered her rampart thoughts.   Finally, she emerged into the sunshine and slowly approached his sled.
His back was to her, leaning against the back of the sled while he waited for a customer.  “Wasn’t sure if you’d come over,” he said quietly after letting her watch him for a moment.
“Still feel bad about last time,” she said even quieter, watching his back.  He remained stiff as she crept closer to where the food was. “I wasn’t sure if I could bring myself to take advantage of you again.”
He was quiet while Anna looked down into the leather sack. In addition to apples and carrots this time, there was a small paper-wrapped package of what Anna assumed was meat, two small rolls, and a muffin.  Her mouth started to salivate uncontrollably, yet she pushed her desperate hunger from her mind to ask the question she had been dying to ask.
“You were gone longer than a couple days,” she said almost at a whisper.  “I didn’t think you were coming back.”
He nodded, still looking out on the street.  “Ran into some trouble with the sled.  Had to fix a ski and it took me a while to chop the wood for it.”  His large shoulders shrugged.  “Didn’t think I’d be missed too much.”
Anna could hear the smile on his lips and the side of her mouth curled in response.   He glanced nonchalantly over his shoulder at her and she let him see her own smile.  It head been years since anyone had made her smile for real.
“Got a few extra things this time,” he said quietly, turning his focus away from her again.  “I have plenty more than I need.  Please help yourself.”
Anna gave the food a sideways glance.  She had to swallow again, thinking about actually eating a piece of meat.  She was indeed hungry, but she was also incredibly curious.  Something so deeply seated within her that even starvation couldn’t drive it away.
“Where are you from?” she asked.
“The mountains,” he said slowly.
Anna thought his answer sounded careful.  “You have family?”
He nodded, still facing the street.  “I do.”
“A big family?”
“You could say that.”
Why did it sound like he was smiling again?  Anna took a tentative step closer to him, almost standing at his side but still far enough behind that he would have to turn his head if he was to look at her. “How long have you been harvesting ice?”
“Almost as long as I can remember.”
“As a child then?”
He nodded.
“Were your parents harvesters?”
She noticed him stiffen ever so slightly, immediately regretting prying into his life.  It wasn’t any of her business.  Why the hell was she even asking him questions anyway? He said she could take the food but it still felt like stealing anyway.  That’s all she really was.  A dirty thief.
Anna turned, red-faced, and grabbed a few of the items from the top of the sack.  She didn’t even look, she just needed to get out of there and never return.
She ran, despite hearing him call for her to ‘Wait, come back!’ and something else she couldn’t quite make out.  She kept going until she was back at the dilapidated stables, tucked in her filthy horse stall, sobbing uncontrollably.
She wished she’d never engaged him.  She should have just taken what he had offered and left.  How could she have been so stupid, trying to talk to him. The last thing she needed was to become invested in him.  What would happen when he stopped showing up at the market because he didn’t want to deal with her anymore?  That was surely the outcome, wasn’t it?  There was no way he wanted a beggar hanging around every time he was in town, asking annoying questions and taking what little she was sure he could afford himself…
Yet she could not get the kindness of his eyes out of her mind.  He had seemed so careful around her, like he was afraid of scaring her away…
Then she had ended up scaring herself away.
It took a while to compose her emotions.  When she finally did, she looked at the items in her lap.  She had grabbed one of the small paper packages, an apple, a roll, and a small wax covered roll of cheese.  Tears sprung in her eyes at the feast that she was almost too guilty to eat.
Almost.
She unwrapped the paper with shaky hands, bringing the meat to her lips and taking a tentative nibble.   The last time she had eaten a piece of meat was in the castle.  The taste flooded her senses, making her cough from the saltiness.  She could grab some water from the horse trough a half a block down the street but right now she needed to simply appreciate.
She cut the salt by taking small bites of the roll and the cheese with her meat, eating slowly and methodically, making sure not to give her stomach too much.
About half way through she had to pause, giving her churning stomach a chance to catch up.  She took the opportunity to shuffle down the street to the trough and fill the filthy bucket she found in the old stables.   Careful not to lose any water, she went back to her nest and settled in.  She sipped the water through her dirty hands then resumed her feast.
The meat somehow tasted even better.  The cheese and the fresh roll were incomprehensibly delicious.  With a few bites left of each, she carefully wrapped them back in the paper for the morning and started on the apple for dessert.
While she was chewing slowly, she finally clued in that the big blond man had put that particular food near the top of the sack on purpose.  He had wanted her to have it.  He had wanted to give her some better food.  There was no way she could possibly know for sure, yet in her heart she felt it to be the truth.
Anna settled her frail body into the corner, trying to find sleep that would not come.   It was always hard to sleep.  This time wasn’t because of the cold or the hard ground. It was because she couldn’t stop thinking about him, wondering about him, feeling a weird sort of desperation to see him again.
Surely, he would be gone when she woke, like the last time.  She would resume what she knew… try to stay alive.  Even with her hunger muted for the first time in what seemed like an eternity, she would wake with a painfully empty stomach.
Perhaps it was time to move on, time to spare the nice man from her dependence.  She could survive until she got to the next town.  She had done it before when she left Arendelle.
The past came back with a vengeance and her thoughts were consumed of nothing else until it was nearly dawn when she finally drifted off in a fitful sleep.

I have no idea why Thor is so photogenic. Its not fair. He won’t save any beauty for anyone else. I have so many photos of him in my digital camera just because he is so easy to photograph. I’ll have to find them for ya, they are pretty cute. He’s cute and all, until he starts rolling in the dirt. I’m not sure if I mentioned this, but he likes to go on the porch and roll around in the dirt. And he will meow (more like mew) to go outside and stand by the door and wait for us to open the door. He doesn’t understand that it’s too hot for him and his thick fur and often just turns back around lol. Then an hour later he’s back at it again, smh. I have a problem in thinking that everyone I speak to online is American 🤦‍♀️ it’s giving entitled American vibes LMAOOO. But mainly I think that it’s just hard to comprehend how big the internet really is and how many people spend their time in there like me. I feel like people don’t understand how amazing the internet can be and how you can connect with people from absolutely everywhere, yknow? I feel like that made me sound like a grandma jfjsjsjsvdh .
The “boarding school” I went to was actually a “therapeutic residential” or a more long term psych hospital stay with more privileges and such. I went since was struggling really badly with my mental health, I was given several different diagnosis (adhd, anxiety, autism, depression) almost all at once while going through puberty, a time where people struggle finding out more about themselves and such. It fucking sucked. There were more factors but that’s mainly the gist of it that led me to being enrolled in a residential for my seventh grade. Everyone had their own problems and shit going on but it was much more “externalized”(? If that’s the right word) compared to me, who internalized EVERYTHING. So I got a lot of “why the hell are you even here?” (Not in a rude way, more in a way of general confusion) from staff and residents alike. To which I responded “I don’t fucking know??” So technically it’s not a boarding school, but it has the characteristics of one in several ways and it’s much easier to call it a boarding school because it gets a lot less sideways glances and or ones of pity. It seems VERY different from your school. When I think of boarding schools I think of either two things; a very preppy, fancy school or a reformitary school for “juvinile delinquents”. And cults. Which i guess means three things but cults in either kind of boarding schools aren’t necessarily uncommon. Maybe they are, but I’m a true crime addict so I’ve heard plenty of shady things about boarding schools. High key just listened to a documentary of sorts about a boarding school like two days ago. In other words, what was your school like? Lol it sounds very interesting and fancy. Was it fun? Did you have to wear uniforms? When I was in kindergarten-2nd grade I wore a uniform, which I didn’t think was weird until I moved and went to a different school and realized that only preppier schools have their students wear uniforms, and my old school was not preppy at ALL. It was just a normal school. So like a year or two ago I asked my mom why I had to wear a uniform -white collared shirts and navy bottoms- I was a very lanky kid that grew a LOT. I was also messy and has sensory issues with the stupid collar on the shirts. We had to buy them at special shops and no matter what size I bought the pants always showed so much leg and the shirts would always go up to my belly button. And since I was so messy I always had stains on my shirts. I probably looked homeless I swear. But anyway I asked her and apparently the area around my school had some GANG ACTIVITY???? and they didn’t want us kids wearing clothes that matched gang colors??? But the highschoolers (who would be around the age to be in a gang) didn’t have to wear them? Idk weird. And omg I do remember Madeline!!! It’s a show locked deep deep down in my childhood memories. I remember the last time I thought of it was a few months ago actually when I made a comment about riding along the luggage bag things they have in hotels and such and my mom mentioned something along the line of “like in Madeleine?” Like wow ok I don’t think I thought of Madeline since I was like four, that’s a throwback.
Ok so my other ceiling story happened in my room, well shared room. So here’s a very shitty sketch of the room since it’s too odd looking to describe in justice. The orange highlight is the layout of the room, and the yellow bits give better detail of certain sections. Ok so each room had a wooden desk, bed and wardrobe for every person living in the room. They also had a wall that was a fogged window with a section up to that was not fogged. Surprisingly, the staff didn’t mind if we sat on top of the wardrobes. Usually we sat up there to look out the window since that was about the only way u could see out it. I usually did that by hopping up from my bed (as you can see with the lil stick figures) but most of the time we just climbed up them using the wooden slots separating each cubby. Most of the rooms were two person rooms besides the two back ones, including the one I drew. Now that one was kinda famous on the unit for several reasons. First it was one of the only three person rooms- like previously mentioned , second it looks weird (it was also painted a pea green color, where all the others weren’t painted at all?) and it didn’t have an obnoxious window wall that people can tap on from the outside and that blinded you every morning. But it was mainly famous because the wardrobes were all lined up in a slim row and you could all crawl up there and look out the window- or crawl up into the ceiling. The little corner the wardrobes were in had a wooden panel and room for a person to sit up there. It was relatively safe, at least to what Peter did and most of the kids who slept in that room went up there at some point. I didn’t, I didn’t wanna get in trouble and besides; my Lanky, 5’7 ass would not fit in there quietly or neatly and I did not wanna break shit, no thank you. I pride myself on being self aware and I am very aware of how messy I am, and how much more of a mess I was a twelve. The room at the moment was occupied by me and my two roomates; Daia and Kayla. One day, Daia and Kayla crawled up the ceiling- whilst calling me a baby for not-while I read a comic. I went out in the common areas to socialize while Daia soon followed me, because their isn’t much to do in the ceiling . Kayla on the other hand stayed up in their even tho we both told her she should come down, she’s being too reckless. But she said she was fine. I bet you know where this is going. A little while late we hear a loud ass CRASH and Daia and I run out from the common room only to find out that the loud noise came from our room. Kayla somehow sat on a piece that wasn’t stable and the WHOLE rectangle section fell. All over our wardrobe, all over our clothes, everywhere. Our whole room was a hazard.
Tumblr media
I was really irritated since we both told Kayla she needed to be less reckless and she was known to be kinda selfish and she had a tendency to do whatever she wanted no matter who it harmed. But daia? Daia was PISSED. Absolutely LIVID. let me tell you a few things about Daia. She was a year younger than us, and much much smaller. She was small and petite with baby chin and hands. She had a head of tight small curls. In other words, she was very cute. Like a teddy bear. Or doll. But the similarities end there. like they say, the shorter they are they closer they are to hell and man did she have a TEMPER! she was very feisty and had an attitude when needed. Once One of the night staff told us about how she once got up and stood in her doorway and when the staff asked what’s up she stuck her lil chubby hand with her little chubby middle finger and said “fuck you” and giggled (more like cackled) as she went back to lay down. Do you know that meme with Cardi B saying “who am I? Who are you?” Then chucking? Yeah she kinda sounded like that. The staff was so confused, not just because she didn’t do anything that required such hostility. BUT BECAUSE SHE WAS ASLEEP THE WHOLE. DAMN. TIME. the staff checked and double checked too, she was dead asleep. If that doesn’t give a description of daia as a whole idk what does. One of the staff said that she reminds him of a Grateful Dead bear, always sneaking around with a mischievous look in her eye. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone told me she punched him in the nuts. She was pretty chill when not being a menace to society, tho. But unluckily for Kayla, she just flipped her “bitch switch” and I had to PHYSICALLY hold her back. Was not fun, 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Thankfully Kayla was ok (after falling and avoiding Daias rath) but we all had to sleep elsewhere, so Daia and I moved our mattresses to the group room and Kayla moved hers to the hallway, where she would be constantly supervised. It was wild. You would think having one weird ceiling related incident there would be it right?
And about the twerking party- you read that right. That’s exactly what happened, which honestly wasn’t very out of the ordinary, very on brand. They would always be dancing and stuff and they always tried bringing me in. Which as an awkward, lanky 12 year old I would always decline. Do you know that one TikTok audio “Bitch did you hear what the fuck I said? Shake some ass!!!” It was pretty much that. To which I promptly replied “what ass????? I have nothing to shake!!!!” Which usually got them off my case. But if they ever caught me vibing to any r&b/rap/trap (the music they played) they would hype me UP. They loved “corrupting” the shy lanky emo and would always go “MAEVE!! OK WE SEE YOU!!” It was so embarrassing!!!! I was pretty much the chillest and most rational on the dorm and got along with everybody so they sorta saw me as the baby (even daia and Kayla did… which was weird because I was technically older??) once I was getting changed in the room real quick and Kayla was like “DAMNNNNN” and Daia was like “You never told me you had titties??” And I was just like ????? I never hit them away??? I just wear sports bras???? Kayla then told me I was “slim thicc” and daia and I were like “yeah no” big then Kayla’s said I’m “thicc slim” which apparently made more sense because daia agreed?? They saw me as a goodie two shoes as well so after they found out I “have boobs” they tried to make me wear more “whore couture” or revealing outfits. And I was like bitch?? We are twelve?????? Yeah it got messy lmaooo
I literally had to type that all out on notes, it took forever lol
Thor sounds like a troublemaker but you wouldn't get mad at him bc he's such an adorable fluff. Momo used to mess around too but she's 6yrs old now and kinda oldie so she would rather look through the window, sleep and eat all day than do anything. In short, she's a freeloader in our house lmaoo that's okay! idk but it's weird ever since i got into social media i always get assumed as an American? or someone who lives in the west but l i'm very much asian. from my ancestors' knowledge, our blood is mixed but still from an asian descent. so that makes me asian x2 LMAO I DONT KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING.
CULT?! GANG?! is that tokyo rev irl? lmao jk. omfg i love love crime documentaries but i have never heard a cult incident near my area so that being "normal" in where you live is surprising to me. yes! we used to wear uniforms. i attended a religious all girls school all my life before uni. from 7th grade to 10th grade i liked our uniform. we wear a blue skirt and a bottom up white polo but the buttons are at the back. we also wear a neck tie where we improvised to put our pens and highlighters inside so it becomes handy. then, we have black doll shoes with white socks just above our ankles. the uniforms changed when we reach 11th to 12th grade. it's more "mature" but technically it's almost the same thing as the previous uniform but the buttons are at front and we no longer have the necktie which kinda sucks. oh, if you need a point reference i think the closest look we have of our uniform is Fukurodani's!! (minus the bow cos we wore a navy necktie, as i mentioned earlier) my high school life is pretty normal. i didn't belong to the "cool" group but i wasn't isolated from the rest. i kinda just... existed LMAO but my status slightly changed during my 11th to 12th grade. i gained a bit of confidence. i was a sports captain during a sports event and auditioned for a musical play for a cause (a school event) actually i wasn't planning on auditioning but my friends signed me up 😭 i have stage fright but i love performing (i am a walking irony, i know) i sing and my friends know i can sing so they wanted me to show everyone what i can do. i curse but at the same time thank them for signing me up cos i got accepted! from the point, my batchmates and teachers were shocked to see a different side of me. no one knew i can sing but from mini plays in english classes they have enjoyed my quirky acting lol sooo i guess it was a good memory. also, idk why but i always get caught in the "cool" kids dramas when i'm literally just a chilling potato. like, i swear i can tell you about it next time if you want to. it's a whole au moment for me but i was confused half of the time. it sucks that you have to call your school a "boarding school" just so people wouldn't be shocked when you tell them you studied there. we don't have that kind of school here in my country or maybe i am not aware of it, but part of it is that my country isn't open yet when it comes to mental health (sucks cos i'm a psychology major lol) but how were you in your school? did it helped you? and it's good that your parents supported you or at least find a way to help you when you were struggling with your mental health.
alright, first off THE EFFORT MAN 👏🏼 as a visual learner, thank you for the drawing AND THE SMALL STICK FIGURES WITH CAPTIONS OMG aight so as i type this i have read the part about the ceiling incident AND SHIT YOU NOT ONE SEC I WAS NODDING, THEN LAUGHING, AND WRAPPED IT UP WITH MY JAW ON THE FLOOR. i thought daia is a sweet little human when you told me she had come down from the look out. i thought kyla is the problem child and you had daia on your side. but when you started describing how cuddly and cute she appeared i saw it coming. she isn't a doll or if she is then she is definitely chucky 😭 NO THAT'S A BAD COMPARISON BUT LITERALLY THAT WAS THE IMAGE I HAD OF HER WHEN READING THE DESCRIPTION OF HER. the middle finger and fuck you while she was dead asleep?? ARE YOU SERIOUS GSNDBSJ and "the shorter one is the closer to hell." MAAM SIR THAT HIT ME. AS A FIVE FEET FLAT THAT WAS PERSONAL /jk (lmao i get that a lot too tho i have a veryyyy longgg patience once shit gets to me i bring hell to earth lmao so my friends are wary of me when i'm angry or pissed tho i don't physically hurt someone but they say i have this black aura thing clouding me similar to that of anime characters when im mad LOL but yeah that's rare since i appear collected and calm most of the time, ANYWAY) your boarding school stories are out of this world i feel like this belongs to a series "keeping up with myve's boarding school." "90 days in boarding school." "survivor boarding school." 😭 why do i feel like you lived with the most problematic kids in town and you had to somehow be friends with them. but i commend you for doing the right choices tho, not climbing the lookout thingy (and heck you're 5'7 at that time?? wtf is in the air in your country 😭😭😭) i bet you're one of the best behaved kids in your school at that time. btw, was kyla bought to the hospital? i mean the fall hurt her (also daia's wrath) that story is crazy shittt but i enjoyed it heckk lol. also, do you get to choose your roommates or you get assigned in a certain like how i always get assigned to the most rowdy pupil in class in hopes i'll "turn" them nice or get sat next to the most talkative in class cos when in class i always have this face -__- i was generally quiet, shy, and nice (teacher's description) or do you get assigned randomly? i'd love to hear more of your stories boarding school or not it sounds interesting and entertaining. i love the contrast we haveㅡour's is very prim and proper, don't hurt a fly. always respect each other policy and your's is a tv series. i feel like when you get old that's the kind of stories you'll tell your grandkids.
i- am i the only who didnt get the thicc slim and slim thicc? like... what's the difference GSNSBS and they didn't expect you to have boobies cos you're "hiding it" heckk were you ever pressured to wear revealing clothes? i guess that's the advantage of wearing uniforms in school. we don't have issues with attire since technically we wear the same clothes and even if we have a school event that requires us to wear civilian clothes, the school rules are VERY strict so they wouldn't let us wear anything other than a pair of pants, shirt, and closed shoes. but since i studied in an all girls school i am used to changing clothes inside our classrooms. we shut the windows and door and we find our own corners tho before i used to be very conscious so i'll go out to use the bathroom but eventually i got used to it. some of the "liberal" girls poked other girls' boobs and point out how big/rounded it is or show off their bras and panties. i never flaunted my body to anyone so i just changed quietly lmao BUT one time one of my friends took notice of me changing clothes and was like "ooOoOoOoHh look at pea changing didn't know you got curves" (i butt is defined, that's what they meant." so i quickly grabbed my top uniform and covered my body and shoo-ed her lmao but it gained eyes from others but i don't mind, really.
thank you for typing this all out I ENJOYED THIS CONVERSATION OMG sorry if i reply late (hensns introvert stuff when i get drained af socializing irl i tend to shut down) hope you're doing well!! stay hydrated bubs!

The problem with saying Loki ruled Asgard longer, and was a better ruler of Asgard than Thor,  is VAST.
First off, Thor didn't have a fucking chance. He ruled for only a few hours if even before Thanos came and slaughtered the Asgardians because of LOKI stealing the tesseract in Ragnarok. You can not compare their ruling based on time. Thor needed the time to be away from Asgard to learn to be a good man, and to know his limits and when not to be a spoiled brat chasing war for no reason, and to learn what was important about ruling people/learning more about what it meant to truly protect people and the things/places he loved. He has major character development through the series that makes him a good king because he recognizes that the title requires more than sitting on your ass eating grapes watching bad theater.
The way they rule... Originally if he had been king in the first movie, Thor would have had Asgard at war at every turn. It would have been chaos. But after everything he's been through, going from God/Prince/Future King to Mortal/Weak to Slave/Possession (for someone's violent amusement )the character development changes how he would have ruled. He thought only for the best of his people, got half of them to safety with Valkyrie, and fought -most likely with the intent of dying for his people- until he had nothing and was completely broken. Thor's actions in Infinity War are flat out suicidal and fueled by rage and depression. He's lost everything - and it all started with Loki allowing Jotuns into Asgard to prevent his intended rule. But at the same time, Loki helped him be a better fit for a king by doing so. But Thor didn't have a chance to prove himself a worthy and good king before Thanos came and fucked shit up because Loki couldn't keep his hands off of the Tesseract. But, that brings the question of if Thanos would have come either way. Loki owed him the debt from his failure after all. But in both scenarios- he came because of Loki. Loki has ruled twice. Let's talk about instance number one-    to get the title of king he a)let enemies into Asgard b)caused 4 deaths and showed zero remorse for what he'd done c)Had Thor banished (you can argue if this was intentional or not based on the movie and one of the Thor guidebook which says he intentionally goaded Thor into going to Jotunheim to get him in trouble with Odin) d) Only got it because Odin went into Odinsleep (you guys joke but this dude was already in poor health-poor enough for his enemy to take notice of his weakness- add the stress of his 1st son being banished because 'well fuck he's just like the banished child and needs to learn not to be' and the stress of Loki finding out who he really is/that originally he planned to use him and Loki refused to let him explain further and instead went full out pissed and yelling at a weak old man)
Now there is that deleted scene where Frigga gives him the title BUT IT DOES NOT FIT INTO THE MOVIE. Rewatch it, try to place that scene. It doesn't fit. Loki is playing King before he speaks with Frigga in that deleted scene- which was shortened and edited in after he's already playing king. It does not fully apply to the canon of the movie because of this technicality. So for all we know- he took the title without Frigga's knowledge. So during that first rule, what did Loki do? A)closed off the Bifrost to prevent Thor's return B)Sent the Destroyer to kill Thor, and even told it to destroy everything in the little town Thor was in -with no regard for the lives which could be lost because of his actions. C)Allowed Laufey into Jotunheim, and let's be real Laufey could have easily turned around, stabbed Loki, and then gone off to kill Frigga and Odin. D)Let Laufey hit Frigga, played perfect hero son only after Laufey was already on top of Odin about to stab him, and pretended not to know a thing, like 'Lol how'd he get here idk mother but I'll protect you even though he already flung you across the room'
Loki's rule should technically end when Thor returns. But even then, Loki has Gungnir, which is basically saying he's still in some way in charge and what does he do with this power? He takes the kings staff to the Bifrost with the intent of destroying an entire planet after already murdering his biological father/a king, putting Asgard in danger, and his own king and queen-his adoptive parents, in a very dangerous position. -Frigga may be good with small knives but she was struggling with that sword.
Let's move to rule 2.
Take into consideration everything he did in Midgard-   bringing an alien army to attack the planet, killing over 80 people in like 2 days, causing destruction and chaos in New York which would later lead to the problems in later MCU movies that take place in Midgard (Spiderman Homecoming is a good example) and let' not forget having mind slaves he completely damaged. All of this was in his conquest to gain enough power to be king. But we know Midgard was never the end game for Loki- it was always Asgard. And remorse? Yeah, not really there. He has a brief moment of 'It's too late', but he uses that to stab Thor- meaning he was likely playing on Thor's emotions knowing Thor would fall for his puppy eyes.
So Loki's imprisoned (for showing no remorse and acting like everything is just a silly children's game-and Odin knows where it is headed because of Hela), he's not in any way a king or ruler of anything, but even in his cell he inadvertently causes Frigga's death in hoping to send Algrim/Kurse to Odin and Thor. 'I don't think the people of Asgard would take kindly to a king who murdered their predecessor' -So I'll send someone else to do it for me. (Because who is next in line if Thor and Odin die? Loki, you know if they hadn't decided to do that fuck up of 'lol Hela is their older sister now', but I digress.) The fact is Loki never shows real guilt or remorse until he realizes he is the reason that Frigga, the only person still giving him any chance and sneaking around to speak with him, died. So the story goes -he sets off, helps Thor, even protects Jane, and then fakes his death. Again. Both times were different though- I believe he truly believed he'd die if he let go of Mjolnir's handle based off the tie in Avengers comic-they believed Loki would be torn to shreds by the world tree. But in this fake death, it's all Loki. He gets up, brushes off, returns to Asgard.
So how does he get to be king the second time? He curses Odin, banishes him in Midgard in a retirement home -and never checks up to be like 'oh yeah whatever happened to dad?'- which leads to Odin being a homeless vagabond just chilling in Norway waiting to see his sons one last time. In the meantime, Loki gives Thor what he wants and sends him to Midgard. Of course, Thor says he returned to Asgard once in AOU- but did he really? He would have caught on that Odin wasn't Odin if he really had. (Really it's a shame they wouldn't let Joss focus on Thor like he wanted) - So that mention of going to Asgard in AOU-let's assume Loki was off doing Loki things and avoiding Thor. Which leads to Thor traveling the universe for YEARS trying to find answers about the Infinity Stones. -A mess Loki helped make worse, but that began in Captain America. (Thanks, Red Skull.)
So what's Loki doing while Thor's off trying to save the universe? He's ignoring Asgards duties, which leads to the Dwarves slaughter and the gauntlet being made (of course he may have thought he had the real and only gauntlet in the vault).  Loki gathers up some bad actors, writes his own little play, erects a giant statue of himself, MOCKS FRIGGA'S DEATH by making his 'sacrifice' in avenging her a total joke in the play and by laughing at it, and maybe even hoes around with the servant ladies that surround him while he watches the play. Which if he did- further mocks Frigga and Odin.
Thor arrives and calls him out on his shit, his reign is pretty much done for. But Thor doesn't get the chance to rule, he has to clean Loki's mess and get Odin, and then he has to clean Odin's mess with Hela. Thor tries to prevent Hela from reaching Asgard, but Loki shouts for the gate to be open-if Heimdall was in charge of the gate and saw this shit he would have kept it closed. Just saying. So Loki gives Hela an opening to put Asgard and its people in danger- which if she had won in the end, would have led to death and chaos across the universe. But that's not how the story goes. Thor and Loki get thrown into Sakaar. Loki's been there for weeks and is just mingling and partying, making jokes about his first death, and while he's stolen ship passcodes-is making no real effort to leave and go fight for his people. But that is all Thor is worried about and wants to do. Even when Thor is a slave, locked up and unable to do much but fight to get his freedom, he only thinks of returning to Asgard to save the people. Loki even tries to prevent Thor from doing so for money.-and possibly being petty that Thor would not go with his plan to escape together and ignore Asgard, let it burn. Thor escapes, he fights for his people- and Loki turns up afterwards, only to ham it up and be a big diva like 'LOOK I AM BRINGING A BIG SHIP AND I AM SAVING YOU ALL WITH IT' -yes, he fights, yes, in the end, he pledges allegiance to Asgard, but his actions prior to his Infinity War death are not the actions of a good king, only a selfish man. He and Thor both understand ruling well, but they both understand different aspects, and Loki's is the toxic form, while Thor's is the good-natured and humble form. Combining them together=great king.
If Thanos hadn't of come, Thor would still have people to care for and rule over, but he doesn't. He has nothing. He's a space hobo now. His rule would have been much longer than Loki's, and, in an ideal world, they could have learned to work together to combine their understanding of what it means to be king. But that world doesn't exist.

ok, who bet it’d take me this long to make a BNHA AU for Superverse lol
in this universe, our already established heroes were all there right; the Power Pals were a thing, and they saved the world from the super villain group The Body of Evil, but both sides had casualties. Crimson Chin was sort of a rookie/apprentice to Super Sam there, and was one of the survivors, and became poster child for heroism because he was young and survived, and blahblahblah. Catman was there too, but he got hurt and sorta retired. but after that, there weren’t *really* any super or villain teams
fast forward to the present, and there are rumors that the Body of Evil are trying to reform, and looking for young recruits as a great evil is resurfacing. so the Chin goes to the school to try to help Catman protect the students from corruption and whatevers; they also suspect that a member of the staff might be an evil plant, but they can’t figure out who (spoilers there is one; Mrs. Sunshine is actually the villainous Doombringer and she is, in fact, pulling a Medusa on them)
but enough about plot, lets talk about the kids! lol
Timmy Turner
Quirk: Luck/Probability Manipulation
Tim’s quirk went unrecognized for a very long time, since it’s very passive in teh way that everything just naturally seems to go his way...even when it seems competely improbable. he’s never wrong when it come sto situations, and he comes out of tough scrapes with ery few, if any, injuries or inconvienaes himself. it was after the loss of his Dad that his ability was really figured out; their home was collateral damage during a super fight, and while his Dad died and his Mom was left in a coma, Tim escaped completely unharmed from the wreckage
Nicole Amsel (Gertrude Summers)
Quirk: Weapon Manifestation-Fire Arms
Cole here entered the school with her own agenda; she knows there’s a traitor in the school, and is trying to find them to get information out of them about where her family was kidnapped to. of course, she doesn’t bother telling anyone what’s going on, so she’s suspected as being a traitor...that and the fact that the new villain that pops up who can manifest blades *coughBabyShreddercough* seems to recognize her and calls her out doesn’t help her case at all.
her quirk works in the way that she can basically pull firearms out of her body at will...of course she has to be in good health to do that, and needs  to know the make of the weapon she wants. she typically sticks to hand guns, but can create larger caliber weapons. this also explains her long coat, cause she just constantly is reaching in and pulling things out lol
Sanjay Dev
Quirk: Sound Projection
Sanjay’s mother is either quirkless or has a very passive quirk, but in the field of quirk studies i guess, so he had no problem getting supplemental training growing up. he also knows how to use tech to his advantage too, seeing as his powers basically let him scream with a sonic projection, but due to his flight glider pack, he’s able to manipulate his powers enough to give himself limited flight.
he also got into the school on recommendation, and was not present for the main big test day, so no one knew who he was the first day of school
Francis James
Quirk: Bovine Physiology
he’s actually older than the rest of his classmates, because he was a homeless street punk, getting in trouble with the law. Catman crossed paths with him and took pitty on him, offering him the chance to attend the school instead of going to jail. Francis took the offer, figuring he’d just ditch it...but turns out going to school counts as his parole pretty much.
he’s another obvious plant for the “who’s the traitor???” plot, but he does not have a connection to the BoE going in...but he is one that they approach later on to join them
Chester McBadbat
Quirk: Matter/Energy Conversion
Chester’s dad (or grandfather, not sure yet) once tried to be a Pro Hero and...yeah...he was branded as “the worst hero of all time”
Chester’s ability allows him to consume any type of matter and his body will convert it into energy, which he burns through to achieve super sonic speeds and the like. this means he’s nearly constantly eating, and if he’s not eating he’s dead asleep because his metabolism is super high.
Molly Wright
Quirk: Power Mimic
the oils in Molly’s hands act as some sort of conductor that will first temporarily paralyze anyone she touches, and secondly give her the instinctual knowledge of their fighting moves and a copy of their quirk powers. this is only on her hands though, so she constantly wears gloves (and if they don’t breathe right will just intensify the potency of the oils in her skin)
she comes to school with the attitude of “i’m here to learn not to make friends or a comic book deal”
Missy Lebowitz
Quirk: Impenetrable Skin
Missy is Luke Cage ok, unbreakable skin, and has built up her own athleticism over the years to be more muscularly toned. she is quite literally the tank, and she’s not ashamed of it
Trixie Tang
Quirk: Glamazon Might (known) and Energy Blasts (unknown)
the Glamazons are actually a group of heroic women, mostly related to one another, and all share a similar power set. the current leader is Harmonia, but she’s getting old and is going to step down and is looking for a successor. Joan Jett was a Glamazon, but she was one of the PP that was lost in the big battle. Shannon is a retired Glamazon, but she does teach at the school, whole Marigold is the most active and publicly noted Glamazon currently.
Trixie here is the youngest Glamazon, and could have just attend school without going through the entrance exams because she had full recommendations, but she still took the exams to prove she was worthy of attending.
she is the biological child of Joan and Sam (Glamazons are known for quirk marriages), but her secondary quirk, which was inherited from her father, hasn’t really become prevalent yet since all the Glamazons basically share a similar enough power set of super strength, speed, and durability
Veronica Star
Quirk: Avian Physiology
Veronica was born with bird wings and feathers, but as she got older she molted and became more human-like in appearance, but her avian features are still very prevalent. she has hollow bones like a bird, and a matching circulatory system to match. she can fly, and doesn’t eat meat.
she really wants to be a Glamazon, so she follows Trixie like a groupie at first
Chloe Carmichael
Quirk: Persuasion (Mind Control)
Chloe’s powers were always thought to be very passive; she was always good at talking to people, and getting them to talk about their problems and work through issues, so she originally applied to be in the support class, figuring her skills woudl be better suited for like social work or something
but Doombringer recognized that her powers weren’t just persuasion, but showed signs of actual mind control, if she was trained properly, so she switched Chloe’s application from the Support pile to the Hero pile
since the Support class was filled up, Chloe settled on doing at least a semester of the Hero course, because it wouldn’t hurt after all if she wound up going into hero-Public relations instead
and as i said, Catman sorta seems to be in charge of the school, while Shannon (Wandergal) is also a teacher, when CC joins the staff. and Doombringer works there too, but as Mrs. Sunshine, because she’s working for the bad guys. Vicky shows up to annoy people at some point, to throw suspicion onto Tootie (because they are still sisters), and Kevin might join up later down the road too as a defector from the evil team
so BNHA AU for Superverse. whooot!

Arguing is for people who have energy. What is the point arguing with someone who would never consider your thoughts as facts but rather opinions in respect the authors who created all the problems to begin with pertaining to the new and old testament of the bible.
I always ask myself and my mentors in the church a serious question. How can you consider yourself saved if the word of God says in Deuteronomy 4:2 you shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
My question always puzzled most preachers and then they would say something like well they took those books out because they didn’t line up with the word of God in the old and the New Testament. And then I always say well who ordained or gave anyone permission to touch the word of God if it is indeed in its true form.
That’s when I get the since that I am causing confusion in the church lol. How can you get upset with someone who ask a question like that? That’s when I realized the church is filled with Hustlers and Swindlers. Not every church but especially Jamal Bryant’s church Empowerment Temple.
When you walk in the church there is a ATM machine at the door witch charges you to withdraw money as  well as when they take up offering they have a credit and debit machine along with the money baskets in the sanctuary
I guess he is such an eloquent speaker that it profits him to do 3 services every Sunday from 7 to 3pm where he takes up tithes and offerings from his congregation and his online congregation for 3 different services. So if you are a member of his staff or clergy you get paid nothing. If you come to the church homeless and needy you get kicked out and possibly assaulted by his goons in my opinion.
Not to mention this Preacher has multiple babies in and out the church by various different woman he’s definitely not a shy preacher when it comes to flexing off his money with the ladies. He has probably paid 4 numerous abortions and bribed several ladies not to mention the way he handles his affairs outside the church.
I’m from the sand town community and my church is small but effective in a way where we don’t have 3 services every Sunday we have Sunday school where the congregation can be involved and we have service that runs from 11- 2pm and only 1 offering and tither implication throughout the service. My pastor is not a player or a pimp and in fact he has been married to his wife for over 20 years so I highly doubt that he will put himself in a position to lose her. His wife is the first lady of the church and held in honor as a prize to the church family of what real family should look like. When homeless people come to the church we offer them food there and provide them with resources to help them attain shelter. PFK BOOM Exposed Jamal Bryant in my community as well one day last year after coming out of one of his chick’s apartment on the low.
The Game has changed from being the Gods Holy war to preachers in the pulpit playing the devil’s advocate. Now this is not all preachers, wherefore I just gave you an example of my church that helps the poor and the needy everyday but as for Jamal Bryant and his flock they are misleading the people
The capitalist game has been played far too long in the work place and now its even being exploited in the church. How many women do you know on a fixed income going to church every Sunday to be an asset to a church that is taking from the poor?
It became clear to me what the purpose of school was for when I realized everyone who finishes school becomes a capitalist to a degree.  Understanding that the school gives me the credit and the information that allots me the privilege to teach what I’ve been taught. In so many ways the taught graduate wants to reteach what he or she has learned.
The real question is what make the science or knowledge you are sharing uncontradictable. Is it the arithmetic that 1+1=2 so a+a must = AA or b? I question your logic when I can clearly see the historical changes made.
I always wondered why they said father son and Holy Ghost, but I assume our woman was so esteemed about themselves that the Most High decided to allow evil people to just come into the world and destroy every holy thing that may have ever existed. If mid evil times were a few centuries ago and it was possible that we were in the dark ages then what would you consider the time we are in now? I pray that the truth be reviled in a way that make the least of us feel complete, the reason the bible was changed was so that way it would be easier to enforce the mindset of independence and not needing your family. It also emphasizes in Tobit and Sirach that the giving of alms and prayer and supplication in spirit and in truth is what saves you
Sadly Jamal Bryant’s church is on the platter for disaster because they are clearly not acknowledging the facts and just focused on leaching from a poor community and its members. This type of Sin is why the God said the temple is your body and soul and no longer found in place built with stone. It’s sad who can say they love God and be a thief in the same breath.  It’s obvious some churches work out of their love for God, but then my question remains the same how you can say you love God and not allow yourself to inspect and reflect on what the word of God says.

2-30 even for Tu'an and 1-29 odd for Ida please :D
Tu'an. Oh Tu'an. My disaster daughter. My awful child. I love her so much she’s a BLAST to play, barbarian for life, yo
2. How good are they at tongue twisters?Awful. But she commits to the awful, like she’ll mess up and then make it worse on purpose. If she can somehow wrangle it into a dick joke she will.
4. Are they formally trained or have they gone through a more organic learning experience for their skillset?
Uhhh…. well… organic is… one way of putting it. She’s a barbarian bc of Vrig, who took a long look at the traumatized child she had saved and another at the long and dangerous road back to Grevenia and made the decision to teach Tu'an how to protect herself. Except Vrig didn’t know how to half-ass anything so Tu'an got the full barbarian training.
6. What’s their theme song?
Good Girls by Elle King
8. Paper or plastic?
Tu'an stares the clerk dead in the eye as she shoves an entire loaf of bread into her pocket and dumps 50ft of rope, 12 caltrops, and 2 entire hams into her pack. The party looks on in resigned dismay.
10. What’s their best stat?
Strength and Constitution are tied at 20. She can (and will) do pushups for days.
12. What’s their favorite beverage?
Alcohol. But only interesting alcohol. Beer is overdone and wine is just rotten grapes. Hard liquor mixed with fun flavors.
14. Most heroic thing they have ever done?
Well she and the party stopped a crazy orc demigod from summoning a dracolich and trying to destroy civilization so that was pretty good.
16. Are they a hero or a supporting protagonist
Tu'an has hero tendencies, she’s not the kind of person who can see something bad happen and just let it go, but also she’s got some weird hang ups about Getting Involved, which tends to manifest with her getting beligerent and forcing a confrontation, bc then the other party was the one who attacked first and she can tell herself she didn’t really do anything.
18. Would they rather fight a hundred duck-sized horses, or one horse-sized duck?
Tu'an wants to fight all of those things.
20. Are they religious? If so, what god or gods do they serve?
She doesn’t care about religious exclamations that happen outside the bedroom.
22. Most amazing monster they have ever killed or helped kill?
A half- risen dracolich, and the sort-of god who was trying to raise it. Personally she thought he was less amazing and more… squishy, than anything. Made a nice satisfying wet crunch when she smashed them.
24. Do they have any interesting skills?
Tu'an: *flexes, sleeveless* Everyone around her: *impressed and mildly terrified*
26. Expansion of civilization or the preservation of nature?
Nature makes the stuff that civilization turns into food/alcohol so… ummm… yes?
28. What do they do between quests?
Go looking for trouble, usually finds it.
30. Would they smooch a ghost?
Is the ghost hot? Then yes. Yes she would.

Ira (lol I just realized I mispelled that in the tags cool) is a 10-12 year old half-elven boy whom the party rescued (along with Edna, a very tiny halfling girl he was protecting) from Penny Pincher, the gnomeish ringleader of a band of slavers who specifically targeted children.
1. How many dead parents do they have?
He grew up on the street as far as he knows he’s got no parents at all. Did they die? Did they abandon him? Was he stolen? He doesn’t know.
3. Biggest regret?
At this point in his life he regrets believing Penny when she told him she had a nice warm place for him and Edna to sleep. That’s not really his fault tho, she has a staff that basically let’s her cast charm person at will. He was under magical influence when he followed her into her hideout.
5. If they could hang out with one famous person in 18th century American History, who would they want to hang out with?
Ira would absolutely not want to hang out with famous people from any century, he’s super not interested in history. You can’t eat history.
7. What fictional character are they most like? Was this an intentional or accidental influence?
As far as I know he’s not really like any specific character he’s an npc the party adopted. Like… he’s got tons of empathy but it’s all tempered by anger and a desperate helplessness that feeds that anger so maybe young Anakin Skywalker?
9. What’s their dump stat?
He’s a baby his dump stat is all of them. J/k, he’s actually a pretty good pickpocket, if nothing changes he’s probably gonna end up a rogue when he’s older. His dump stat is wisdom.
11. What is their favorite anime?
If Ira knew what anime was it’d probably be like… Naruto bc ninjas are cool, or Sailor Moon bc it’s very pretty.
13. If they can use magic, what’s their favorite spell?
Fun fact: he ~could~ use magic if properly trained, but he’s got something of an… understandable aversion to it, thanks to a certain gnome sorceress.
15. Most despicable thing they have ever done?
In his opinion he got Edna caught up in all this misery with him bc he stupidly believed Penny.
17. What’s their favorite food?
Spaghetti with meatballs and garlic bread. There was a restaurant in his hometown that would feed the street kids once a week, and they did a lot of noodle dishes.
19. They have to go live on a deserted island. They can take one thing and one person. What do they take?
His knee-jerk reaction is to take Edna bc how can he keep her safe if they’re seperated? But then he’d feel guilty bc she’d be LESS safe on a deserted island (but also she’s like barely 5yrs old if he left her behind she’d have no one to look after her). He’d take a knife. They’re mulit-purpose and useful.
21. How did they become an adventurer?
Teeeeeeeechnically he’s not an adventurer he’s an orphan (but not for much longer if Pi has his say). If he and Edna stay with the party (bc he won’t stay if Edna doesn’t, she’s his sister as far as he is concerned) then he might actually end up as one, bc Hazel will def see his potential and teach him all kinds of neat (read: illegal) tricks and tips.
23. Thoughts on death?
Avoid it at all costs.
25. Favorite animal?
He’s partial to birds and kind of wants to meet a dragon, bc he’s read about them and they just seem neat.
27. They’re at a tavern. They bump into a big burly angry drunk with a combative attitude. What happens?
He kicks them in the shin and runs, at which point the party would swoop in and whisk him off bc what are you even doing in a tavern, Ira, it’s not a good place for kids, are you okay, how did you even get here it’s like, miles from the house, Cathy worried herself into a tizzy when she saw you were gone!
29. Biggest positive and negative influences on their life and development?
Negative: orphaned homeless child captured by slavers and forced to work for them under horrific conditions while slowly developing a healthy dose of survivors guilt.
Positive: has been more or less adopted along with Edna by a group of eccentric well-off adventurers who will absolutely murder someone to keep them both safe.
