🗣️ Hazel Nguyen was a shitty mentor. Argue with ya mama!
#choices#choices stories you play#playchoices#choices app#the only reason she didn’t get votes in that poll is bc there were people who were worse to an extreme#when you’re placed up against a professor who had a relationship with a student#and a boss that couldn’t take no for an answer and threw a tantrum every time things didn’t go his way#of course someone who’s just passive af is not gonna take the cake#but Hazel was barely a mentor at all and even worked *against* MC’s best interests at certain points in the story#so she ain’t shit in her own right 🤷🏽♀️

just reread the mimiwon smut pt 2 and was just wondering what was the stuff that wonwoo found in minnie’s search history? 😳
< masterlist
Hehe
Alright, SO
since the whole poly!mimiwon (feel free to vote and help me make a decision ˙ᵕ˙) discussion isn’t finished yet and I’m still not sure about writing it since the poll is still very very even for both ‘no’ and ‘yes’, I’m just gonna tell you what I thought of when I wrote it ˙ᵕ˙ :
So basically, as mentioned in the chapters, the three of them had been VERY aware of the slight tension between each other. They’ve obviously been good friends for a while and stuff, and moved in together for that exact reason. But even before that, they would sometimes joke around about being together all the time and, especially when drunk, be extremely clingy - like even more than seventeen already is with each other. Even member started commenting on it jokingly saying how they’re basically attached by the hips at that point, which eventually lead to them moving in together bc they just got along extremely well and had great chemistry as friends.
If only they knew that them being together even more and closer than ever (since they lived in different dorm before) would just enhance the tension.
A lot more ‘awkward moments’ happened where one would suddenly be on top of the other after a play fight, seeing each other in underwear accidentally suddenly felt much more intimate than before, etc. etc.
Now, since they all started noticing ‘it’, Minnie got very interested in what ‘that’ exactly was. She wasn’t sure if she should feel bad that there was this tension all of a sudden, or if there actually was this slight bit of excitement in her stomach whenever Mingyu got just a little too close to her since she was in a very happy relationship or if she was just imagining it.
So, what do you do if you’re not sure about what you’re feeling or supposed to feel/do? Exactly. You ask the internet. So she did. She searched different things until she stumbled upon something people would describe as a “sexual desire” rather than “romantic desire”, basically meaning you can have romantic interest in someone (like a boyfriend or girlfriend) but still be sexually interested in someone else.
That only awakened her interest even more, making her fall into a rabbit hole of stories of people who were in a poly!relationship, reading tips on it, even though she didn’t really need it, but was just interested in it. That went so far until she landed on a website, showing her the best sex positions for those couples that wanted to experience in a sexual poly!relationship (even if just for a one time only threesome).
Too bad that in exact that moment, her mother called her, wanting to catch up, which turned into them talking for HOURS. Minnie closed her laptop and left it on the coffee table in the living room, not really thinking much of it. Then she started walking around the apartment, ending up in her bedroom, still on the phone. What she didn’t realise was that the guys had gotten home and Wonwoo had made himself comfortable on the couch. Once he saw the laptop in front of him, he wanted to look something up himself, remembering that Minnie had complained about a problem a few days prior. So, he took it, opened it and oh well… he saw everything. All the open tabs, everything she had looked at. He did feel guilty at first, definitely feeling like he was maybe stepping too far into her privacy, but he started getting intrigued and it slightly amused him, knowing that she was interested in such a thing - his jealousy definitely did make an appearance though as well haha
Not wanting to snoop too much or put her into an uncomfortable position, he closed the laptop again, put it back and didn’t speak about it again until they went through with her fantasies.
Girly had the biggest heart attack when she found him sitting on the couch, but since he didn’t say anything, she brushed it off and thought he didn’t go on her computer.
What Minnie had looked at didn’t leave his mind though for DAYS, up to the point where he himself started looking up positions and just stuff in general he remembered seeing on her laptop screen and he was definitely getting interested. And well, you know what happened then ˙ᵕ˙

I forgot to send on my voting story. Ok so my brother and I both got mail in ballots, and let me tell you how we both forgot to mail it in so we just thought to bring them to our voting location. The lady there kinda yelled at us? She was confused and didn't know how to go about it. And honestly I just took it because we were the idiots who didn't mail in our ballots. We had to rip them up and they just us new ones to fill out in person and submit. Not exciting, but a story for void snippet. 👀
Anonymous said: Hi!! I'm so excited for void! I voted today around 30 minutes before the polls closed in my neighborhood because I had to wait for my dad and brother to get home from work since they wanted to go all together hehe. It was a pretty fast process! We just pressed buttons on screens (compared to last election where we had to bubble in everything by hand) plus, I got to keep the stylus that they gave us and it works on phones too! 🥰🥰 Thank you! I love your writing so much 💜💜💜
Anonymous said: I did mine through mail me and my husband did and we went to the post office a little while back and then he took us on a nice little date afterward and we got ice cream! Also I love void💖 keep up the good work
Anonymous said: VOTES FOR VOID??? I love democracy and I love VOID! So since May I've (temporarily) moved back home from New York to Indiana RE: covid; I've voted absentee for the both the primaries and presidential election (I'm still in IN rn...blah). I voted early and mailed in my ballot for the presidential election (about 3 weeks ago). Made sure my family was voting (brother mailed it in, mom dropped off a ballot, and dad did early voting) and encourage them to put up a Biden sign in our yard <3
Anonymous said: HI BEE! I ALSO VOTED TODAY! IM 21 SO THIS IS MY FIRST TIME VOTING FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION (my 18th bday didnt make the cutoff since im a december bday) im so happy to have done my part! I made sure to study up on the judges and policies and everything! Luckily the polling place didn't have a line so i was able to get in, get my ballot, and fill it in right away! I even dragged my mom and cousin to come with me. I made a joke on snapchat to encourage my friends to vote too. It was a pic of my "i voted" sticker with a caption saying "omg youre so sexy when you vote aHaha" -🦙
Anonymous said: this is my first time doing this so, so i hope i’m sending this correctly! i voted early in late september by mail! i live in a swing state, so it’s really important for me to vote and not waste time!! bc of my age, this is my first time voting so i’m really nervous 😅
Anonymous said: I voted by email! I'm overseas so I wasn't sure if my ballot would actually make it through in time, so I decided to go electronically. Had to sign a waiver saying I understand that my vote won't be anonymous but I haven't been given a reason to suspect voter suppression/fraud in my state, so I'm happy I think...!
Anonymous said: hi, i voted early on oct 24th. my absentee ballot didn't come in, so i had to travel back home to vote (~3 hour drive). when we got there, there was a ton of people outside the polling place, but no lines, so i was in and out pretty quick. it was my first time voting, so i had all the candidates i was voting for written down on a tiny receipt so i wouldn't forget 😅. my mom was with me, so she voted too. took a pic with my sticker (mask on for extra covid-ness) and went home. drove back the next afternoon!
whippedforkook said: Hi Bee. 💕 I voted in early October - nearly a month ago! 😱 It’s been really weird with all the lead up to the election because it felt like it should have been done once I cast my ballot! A lot of my friends have volunteered to get out the vote: writing postcards to voters, texting, phone banking, working the polls, curing ballots. I didn’t volunteer at all this year, but I hope that all of my friends’ hard work and everyone else’s is enough. I’m also hoping and praying that I will be in a better place mentally for 2022 so that I too can volunteer. Our work starts with 2020 not ends. 💕 Wishing you well. 💕
begineuphoria said: I went and voted last Friday as it was our last early voting day. No way was I going to wait until today with the crowds of people in my area that still act as if masks are somehow infringing on their rights. 🙄 It was a rather normal experience for the most part. Other than having to use a coffee stir stick to press the buttons on the machine to vote. In and out within five minutes.
Anonymous said: I voted down the street at this pretty park this morning. I got up at 5:30 and it was freezing. Luckily I wore like 30 layers and stood outside for 2 hours. Some nasty orange man supporters were rude but everyone else was pretty nice. A really cute older couple was playing soccer with pine cones and kicked it towards me to play too. Not the worst time tbh.
Anonymous said: Did mail-in voting in California! Extremely exhausting and took forever to research all the propositions - they are notoriously tricky in hiding their flaws and one side tends to outrageously outspend the other. But in the end I felt really good about my research and decisions! No need for you to post a snippet for this story - would like to save that to read sometime in the future ;) Thank you so much for doing this!
joonsgotthejuice said: Votes for void??? I am here! I went last Thursday and it was chaotic bc I kept going past the poll place but the line was soooo long so my mom called me and woke me up like "its pouring rain and the line is super short get up I'm gonna pick you up" so thats the story of how I got dressed in 5 minutes and dragged my ass to vote in the rain <3
Anonymous said: i voted early on thursday it was cold and rainy but i went in the late afternoon and thankfully the only waiting i did was a few minutes for an elevator i got very lucky and while waiting for the results is awful the relief that came from voting in general was just great
Anonymous said: Wheeew the polls just closed and I finally got to cast my ballot yayyy ( I was the one working the polls from earlier) it’s been a really really long day and we actually had surprisingly good turnout. I saw a woman try to vote for someone else who claimed to be “helping” and I saw a woman who I’m pretty sure was on some typa something 👀 Overall though I really I’m really thankful for people like you who encouraged people to get out and vote. I hope the odds are in our favor❤️🤞🏼
chelsea-chee said: Hello Bee! Today surprisingly my elderly father wanted to vote so I brought him out with me. He only cared about voting for Biden, which meant I got to help decide who he should vote for with the rest of the candidates and amendments! Say hello to baby bee for me as well! 💖
Anonymous said: Okay I gonna got a chance to vote today and the process wasn’t that bad actually. I went in just now and it wasn’t that busy( thankfully) so no lines. I’m from Texas and it’s gonna be almost impossible to turn this state blue, but every vote counts! I love that you are getting people to vote and also sharing your experiences as well!
owl-orgy said: Dropped off my mail in ballot at a polling location! I originally wanted to vote early in person because I was worried my signature wouldn’t match closely enough but ended up just turning it in and double checked today to make it said “ballot accepted and counted”!
Anonymous said: I voted in person this afternoon, better late than never I guess. I was gonna go last week but then I got cramps from hell. There was no one in line in front of me, I think my county early voted because it was packed everyday the last few weeks
Anonymous said: I voted early a couple weeks ago. Exciting thing though that did happen was I got both my parents to vote for their first time ever.
Anonymous said: I had a mail in vote. So, I filled it out and dropped it in at the ballot box at my library. (I also checked out books for the first time in years, so I had fun!)
bubblyjiminnie said: I literally just finished voting. Lucky for me, the line and wait wasn’t very long, and it was a nice enough day that the short amount of time I had to spend in line outside of the building wasn’t too bad. My social anxiety when it comes to stuff like this tends to be high but that’s what I get for waiting until Election Day instead of going the mail in route. This was only my second time voting, but I’m glad that I did 😊
Anonymous said: I turned my ballot in last week :) I’m not a big fan of crowds and I hate make spur of the moment choices but despite that the first time I was able to vote back in 08 my Mom pressured me into voting in person because “you’d have to experience it at least once in our life”. And ever since then I comfortably vote by mail. I take my time, do all of my research, listen to music, and best of all don’t have to deal with people.
Anonymous said: here in Washington state it’s super easy to vote. I dropped my ballot off in mid-October and it’s already been accounted for! Mail in voting and drop box voting is fantastic and provides equal opportunity and access. Sad to see some people in red states misinforming Americans about it! We also have a referendum for implementing mandatory sex ed, including teaching respect, empathy and consent as part of the curriculum so I was happy to vote yes on that too!
unionrox006 said: I voted about 2 weeks ago by doing a mail in ballot. The other eligible to vote members of my household did the same. We chose to vote by absentee ballot because both my mom and I have an autoimmune disorder, so we have to be careful going out in the pandemic. Tbh, the ballot layout was a bit confusing at first as was all the paperwork and required IDs and documents. But my dad explained it to me and we got them filled out and mailed off. Kinda mad I didn't get a sticker for it though
bluetostone said: Love this and so excited for the next chp of void! I early voted a few weeks ago and because I live in a pretty rural county I was in and out of my polling place in a few minutes. No sticker though 😢. I live in a swing state so it could go either way in terms of delegates. Just praying everyone is safe tonight as the results roll in...though, won't we not know for sure for a couple of days or weeks?
Anonymous said: My mom, sister, and I received our early voting ballots a while ago and I took the longest to fill mine out because it was making me anxious :,( but I did return it before it was due. I checked our ballot statuses and mine and my moms were accepted but my sister’s said they hadn’t received hers back. Then she got another ballot so she filled that one out too and I took it yesterday 👍👍 I think she got two because she changed her address late so they sent two?
vixsynsblog said: Non-interesting voter story: I'm paranoid and live in a highly divided area, so I filed mail-in ASAP, mailed it a few days after cause neighbors are nosy and don't understand boundaries. Was able to track my ballot through my credit company, which was nice. Only thing I was missing was my sticker. Never got one✊😔. So I had to improvise and write it in pen on my disposable mask. I'm working all this week so if riots break out from either side, I'll be at work. Prayers for the safety of others🙏

Waaah!!! Thank you all for voting!! You are all my heroes. I am so grateful and proud of you. I’m sorry I ran out of time to respond to you individually. I’m going to drop two big scenes from Chapter 7 in gratitude (one of which will be familiar to my patrons and one won’t). I’m hopeful I will have the whole next chapter out very soon. Love you all!
Void spoilers below the cut.
When you wake up in the morning, there are still no signed HR forms in your messages. Had you been a fool to think they were interested? How much time does it take to decide such a thing? Perhaps just by putting the idea out there explicitly, it had lost all of its taboo appeal.
There is a calendar reminder waiting for you: Today is chili pepper pollinating day. At least this gives you an excuse to talk to Hoseok.
You find the science officer in the lab as always, sitting with his knee up against his chest. Hoseok doesn’t look well. He’s got dark circles under his eyes.
“Hey, um…” You shuffle your feet. Want to fuck me? No wait…“You don’t look good. Were you here all night?” you ask.
He blinks at you, bleary-eyed. “Um, was I? Yeah.. I suppose. Lost track of time.” He rubs his eyes, before looking you up and down, then casting his gaze back to the floor.
All you want to do is ask about the forms. Or the meeting. Or what he thinks of you now. But you don’t. “I need to pollinate the chili peppers today.” Usually Hoseok is the person who assists with that. “But I can get one of the other guys to do it if you need the sleep.”
“No!” Hoseok lurches forward, standing up a bit to rapidly and needing to put his hand back on the bench to steady himself. “I mean, I’m fine.”
You should disgaree with him. He is exhausted. But you’d like more time to talk to him.
Pollinating the chili peppers is both time-sensitive and time-consuming, hence why it took two of you to get the job done. There were no insects on your ship to do the job for you and if they didn’t get pollinated, they wouldn’t bear any fruit. Your chili peppers were your favorite crop. Not only a vital source of Vitamin C, but all your food benefitted from having a bit of spice added to it.
You and Hoseok head for the greenhouse together. The intital set-up gives you something to talk about in the beginning. Hoseok gathers the pollen from one flower onto a paintbrush, then hands it over to you to paint onto the stigmas of each little flower on the next plant in the line.
Slowly the conversation dries up as you fall into a silent rhythm. Other than just enjoying the chili peppers, you must admit that this was one of your favorite tasks on the ship because of the high likelihood that the two of you would brush hands peridically. Always gave you butterflies. But today he seems extra intent on keeping his distance from you. Was he disgusted by you now? His hands are trembling.
“Are you sure you’re okay?”
His hand twitches so hard that a little rain of yellow pollen cascades onto the floor. He curses in frustration before turning to face you. “Are you sure you’re okay?”
“Um, yes, I’m fine. Why wouldn’t I be?”
“This, um, plan of yours…” he gestures to the vague tension in the air. “It doesn’t feel like you.”
“I’m trying to save the mission. That has always been my top priority.”
“Yeah, I’m still not clear on how this benefits the mission.”
“Yoongi said…” you start to say, but are cut off my Hoseok’s derisive snort.
“Look, if you’re in love with Yoongi, just go date him, okay? Don’t feel obligated to include the rest of us out of pity.”
You frown. “I’m not… I’m not in love with him. It’s just sex. Just biology.”
“This isn’t you!” Hoseok argues back. “You hated the idea of anyone of us ever treating you that way. And now you just want all of us to… to… use you like that?” He splutters out the end of the sentence.
“No one is using me! This is my plan! I’m in charge!”
He sighs. “Well, I can’t be a part of it. Excuse me.”
______
Taehyung finds you in the gym. It’s good to see him up and about, even if his arm is still in a sling.
“Hey, so I need to talk to you about this, um, ape sex thing.” He fishes awkwardly into his pockets and pulls out his tablet. Maybe Jimin was right. Is Taehyung going to be the first to take you up on your offer?
You pause your jog on the elliptical machine. You wish you weren’t so sweaty and gross for this conversation. Taehyung is such an intimidatingly attractive man with those strong eyebrows and that perfect skin.
Taehyung opens up the tablet and flips to the form. It’s happening. He’s going to sign the form. Shit. Then what will you do? It’s one thing to say you want to have sex with your whole crew, but what if he’s hoping to go right now? You need a shower.
Taehyung has really nice hands. Long strong fingers delicately navigating the touch screen. It seems totally improbable that a man this attractive would be into you, even if you were the only woman in the universe. It just adds to your suspicions that hormones are driving everyone crazy. Perhaps if you slept with him once, he’d lose all interest.
He finds the form and then turns his gaze up to you, staring you down with those eyes. It’s a good thing that Taehyung rarely turns his full gaze on you, because it is almost too much to bear. Shit, is he just going to sign it? Is he waiting for you to give him some sort of signal?
“You can’t do this to Jimin,” he says.
“What?” Not what you were expecting. “Do what to Jimin?”
“This.” He gestures over the HR form. “Signing these forms with everyone. Having sex with everyone. You’re going to destroy Jimin.”
“Jimin’s the one who suggested this whole thing in the first place.” It’s a lie. You know its a lie. Or at least a gross exaggeration. But Jimin was the one who first brought up the idea of sharing. All for the benefit of the man in front of you now.
“No way.” Taehyung scoffs, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow. “No way was it Jimin’s idea that you sleep with the whole crew.”
“Well…” You can’t bear his gaze anymore and look down at the floor. “He wanted me to sleep with you.”
That surprises Taehyung. He puts down the tablet. “What? Why would he want that?”
This is awkward. “He, um, thinks you’re in love with me.”
“What?” There is only surprise on Taehyung’s face. It’s actually a relief to see that Taehyung is just as shocked by that idea as you were. “Why does he think that?”
“I don’t know…” You feel kind of dumb now. Of course, Taehyung doesn’t feel that way about you. Look at him. “Cause you told him you were jealous. Cause you can’t stand to be in the same room as us…”
Taehyung bites his lip. “Oh, um, shit, sorry, that’s not what I meant.”
If Taehyung isn’t jealous of Jimin...
“Taehyung…” He looks up, biting his lip. “What did you mean? Who are you jealous of?”
Taehyung’s eyes widen, but he doesn’t say anything. Instead he reaches for his microphone and mutes it. Out of respect, you mute yours as well. He glances toward the camera in the corner of the room, then stands up and begins unzipping his jumpsuit.
“Um…” You are distracted by the golden arms that peak from either side of the tank top as the zipper reaches his groin. “What are you doing?”
“Need something to block the camera.”
“We have towels,” you mutter. But he’s already stripping out of his shirt. The musculature of his back ripples. He hangs the shirt off of the camera to block the rest of the room from view.
“Yeah, but this way anyone watching will think we’re having sex.” His chest is just as attractive as his back and you flush at the sight of it. Mercifully, he zips back into his jumpsuit as he returns to his position in front of the exercise machine.
“You want them to think we’re having sex?”
“Don’t you? It plays right into your whole save the mission with bonobo sex plan.”
“I suppose.” Though the plan was also supposed to be that there would be no more secrets between the crew. “What plan of yours does it play into?”
“The one where Jimin doesn’t realize I’m in love with him.”
“You’ve never tried to tell him?”
Taehyung laughs wryly and shakes his head. “How would that conversation go? Hey man, I know we’ve known each other for years and I’ve already seen you naked and that you just think of me as a friend, but I’m in love with you. I know that’s awkward but now you have to spend the next twelve years with me, knowing that I’m attracted to you when you don’t feel the same way.” Taehyung sighs. “Doesn’t sound like a good plan to me. If he doesn’t feel the same way, I’ve just ruined the friendship for nothing and then I don’t even have that.”
“Yeah… I get that.” There’s something touching about realizing that Taehyung has been fighting the same battle as you for the last two years.
“I couldn’t tell anyone before launch because what if they wouldn’t let me go then? You know?”
“Yeah, the director wasn’t big on sending anyone who might ‘complicate’ the mission.” The two of you share a sad knowing smile.
“Yeah… And I thought it would be fine, you know? I like women too. I’d just date women until launch and no one would know. I wasn’t planning on falling in love with my roommate.”
“I don’t think any of us really knew what this would be like.”
“I knew it was going to be a problem. I should have pulled out…”
Your mind flashes back to that moment of doubt when Hoseok talked you into still coming on the mission.
“But I couldn’t just let him go off into space without me. Even if he’d never feel the same way, at least he’d still be in my life.”
The emotion in Taehyung’s words makes your eyes begin to mist. “You really do love him.”
“Yeah,” Taehyung sighs again. “But he’s in love with you.”
“Well, he thinks he is.”
“What does that mean?”
“He only feels like that about me cause he thinks I’m the only option.” You wonder if maybe he would feel differently if he knew about Taehyung’s feelings.
Taehyung frowns and shakes his head. “You don’t give him enough credit.”
“Oh come on, you know him. How many women did he date while we were in training?”
“A few…”
“And how many of them was he in love with before he found the next one?”
Taehyung bites his lip. He can’t really argue with that. “So why are you with him then, if you don’t think it’s real?”
You shrug, rubbing your arm. “He wants me. It’s nice to feel wanted, I guess.”
“You know you could have that with any man on this ship right?”
You scoff. “They’re all suffering the same delusion. It’s only-available-vagina syndrome. I just want us all to fuck and get it out in the open. Maybe if we could get it out of our system, they would see I’m nothing special. And then we can get back to the mission.”
Taehyung eyes you up and down. “You don’t give yourself enough credit either.”
You shrug. “You wait and see. Jimin will get bored of me. They all will.”
The two of you both slump backwards in your seats, mulling over your shared woes. Taehyung bends down and picks up the tablet again. “So what should I do with this?”
“Obivously, you don’t have to sign it. I should have realized that not everyone would be interested.”
“Jimin thinks I’m in love with you?”
“Yeah…”
“Is it okay if we let him think that for now? At least until I figure out how to tell him the truth?”
“Okay.”
Taehyung smiles and signs the bottom of the form, then sends it to you. Your phone lights up with a message. “Thank you,” he murmurs before he leaves.

Genuine question here as someone that lives in an area with majority POC but doesn't experience those crazy lines.. could you not have gone another day instead of the very first day? Or does your area experience that level of traffic every early voting day? And why does it take so long? Do they "sanitize" after ppl vote and that's why the line doesn't move? People go in and out here, the line is mostly for ppl checking for ID n even thats quick. Disenfranchisement is so fucked.
like in hindsight, we probably could’ve gone another day. georgia has 3 weeks of early voting. however, we genuinely assumed that the first day (and that early in the morning) would mean that, obviously, there would be less people. and even when we saw all the people there, we honestly figured it would take 2 to 5 hours tops. but by the time we hit the 6th hour and we were like 5 lines away from getting inside, we (and the vast vast majority of everyone still in line) were pretty much in the mindset of “fuck it, might as well see this til the end).
i think the reason for the long lines, as i’ve discussed with a friend, was a combination of 1) voter suppression (it’s georgia, after all. fuck brian kemp) and 2) really unexpected turnout. i’ve seen this elsewhere being described as “rage voters” lol. bc i’ve been to the same polling location both to vote for stacey abrams as governor back in 2018 and to change my voting location from my college county to my home county while my sister and mom where also there to vote in the primaries and any local elections just this summer. in both those cases, there were hardly any lines. in and out in 10 minutes, tops. but obviously, those are different circumstances. early voting in a heated presidential election is a lot different than voting in a gubernatorial election or a primary. i couldn’t even compare it to 2016 bc i voted absentee in that one. my mom, however, said the lines reminded her of election day 2008 if that helps? she also said it only took her 2 hours to vote for clinton for his second term. so i’m thinking ELEVEN HOURS was atypical!
there were sanitizers in the building, but i don’t think they were sanitizing enough to hold up the line. what i did hear is that one of the polling booths inside stopped working, and that the location may have been considerably understaffed for the amount of turnout.
this was very long, but yes. disenfranchisement is So Fucked. i just think it’s funny how, with every other way red states try to fuck with voters, georgia still has no excuse absentee ballots and 3 weeks of early voting. you’d think they’d get rid of that asap, but they didn’t, so that’s cool!
#anonymous#but like it was so long but i guess its fine bc we got free pizza out of it lol#Anonymous

And 57,1% stated they want to see Victor becoming friends with Chris.
Meanwhile, in the “other” section:
2% wrote that they are open to anything and everything.
2% answered that they want to see Yuuri and Victor get married.
1,2% want to see Yakov and Lilia back when they were married.
1% wrote that they want to see Victuuri being domestic.
0,7% answered that they want to see Victor’s past relationships.
0,7% want to see what got Victor into skating.
0,5% wrote that they want to see present scenes of Victuuri and other characters.
0,5% answered that they want to see an uncensored kiss between Victor and Yuuri.
0,5% want to see small Yurio.
0,5% wrote that they want to see Yuuri in his junior years.
0,5% answered that they want to see Victor tell Yuuri about his past.
(Any answers that had only one vote are not included.)
Below the cut, you can find some of the longer responses we got re:what people hope to see in the movie:
“The reason why Victor neglected his Love and Life, his struggles as well as his succes, how was the journey to become the Living Legend? How did he feel when he landed his first Quad Flip? When he received his first gold medal?”
“Please the movie can be 5 hours of teen Viktor brushing his beautiful long hair and l'll watch it“
“victor's childhood and teenage years and how those years helped him grow to where he is right now”
“Yuri Plisetsky prior to S1; any first experiences Viktor may have had for relationships, how he got into skating and what it’s influence has been on him”
“I know people want a continuations, and I want that too, but a movie about Victor? YES PLEASE! We know next to nothing about his past, what we see of him in the series is mostly in the context of Yuuri, and he's such a big figure as a character and a person in their world but his inner world isn't as explored except for broad strokes -- I am ALL for spotlight on him this time around. I say this not only as a Victor fan, but as a Victuri shipper: it'll be good to have both characters strongly established as individuals, it'll only make my enjoyment of this ship deeper. Besides Vitya ten years ago is the most beautiful creature I have ever seen? (BTW, while I didn't check the options for other people in this poll... I actually want to see them too! But in some way I am fully invested in this being a Victor film. I really hope this ends up giving the fandom a greater appreciation of Victor in himself and with other characters, rather than just in relation to a romance with Yuuri. IDK how invested other people are in this, I heard there was some negativity, but it's a hill I would gladly camp on.)”
“everything kubo and sayo decide to show us, i'm good with everything”
“How Viktor got into figure skating (or what got him into it) , his training regime (how hard he trained, if he did ballet, etc.) and/or possible times he wanted to quit, his love for figure skating/for the ice (b/c let’s be real, everyone’s been focusing on the fact that Viktor was lonely therefore miserable but they forget that he chose to be alone until Yuuri showed him “a new world”), I want to know everything about his programs, what inspired him to create them, see his (bad lmao) relationship with the Russian Figure Skating Federation (Kubo mentioned that during an interview) and Yakov pulling his hair in frustration! Viktor’s education (he speaks English and French) so maybe he had a private tutor/was homeschooled, ir went to a private school, I want to know more about his character in general and how he developed. Like, to me, Viktor is old fashioned (but not in a bad way) the way he dresses, scarfs and long coats, bicycles instead of motorcycles, his costumes, the music for his programs, even the BluRay version of his apartment (wood and books). Damn I want to see so much in this movie but I’ll stop here because it’s going to be so long..”
“I would like the movie to be 300% happier than the trailer makes it seem”
“How his past experiences shaped the way he is today”
“Young Victor being EXTRA™”
“Victor's struggles with loneliness, etc”
“Yuuri's skating life before Sochi! We know he's "Japan's ace" and that he trained under Celestino, but how were his Junior years? Or his Senior debut? I'm super excited for Victor's backstory (it's necessary), but I still have a few questions about Yuuri that I'd like to see addressed in the movie”
“Lilia! I'd love to see if/how she interacted with the younger Russian team, and if she was as hard on Victor as she was on Yuri P”
“Ideally, some sort of framing device including the wedding/Victor and Yuuri's life in St. Petersburg.”
“a younger Chris trying to get Yuri to talk to Victor (bc I have a feeling Chris and Yuri have been knowing each other for a while. (idk if it's true though)”
“how viktor found out about yuuri for the first time bcos i think kubo confirmed he knew about yuuri before the banquet and knew he was a fan based on his skating, but /when/ did he first find out about him”
“Seeing Victor win his first gold or compete in his first major international competition”
“Yuuri featured prominently, not just in a cameo or as a background character”
“Something about yuuri's relationship with his parents and especially his sister when he was smaller”
“Sth like present day Victor reminiscing and/or talking about his past”
“The reason why Victor began figure skating and what was his state of mind beacuse in Yuri!!! on Ice, the past scenes were very vague and sad toned. :(”
This concludes the results of this survey.
Thank you for reading and to those who participated! Any and all feedback is appreciated!

Attica! Attica!
This sucks but I like Attica as a neurotic republican politician. Idk how to write Leon being mute or whatever I just gave him a stutter bc...communication. Also I dearly wanted Serena to have a solid place in the cast so I was like, what the hell, she can be on Attica’s staff. Idk if she should have an important position like campaign manager or something but rn she’s just an assistant. Also since this is Attica’s POV Serena is less funny and Leon is idk more caring than he actually is bc she perceives them that way (Serena is actually funny and Leon is actually a dick)
Its funny because I’m pretty sure Attica is going to be the “good guy” on the protagonists side and help them and Milo is going to end up being a terrifying source of trouble for everyone. Also I was like ok and rolled the ethnicity dice and was like the Kings can be Chinese and the surname King was changed by their grandfather from Qing when their family really started grabbing power, and then was like ok Serena’s adopted but she’s of Iranian origin (guess that means Danny is too)
$$$$$
Attica King averaged 4 hours of sleep a night. And that was if she was lucky.
Looking at twitter was giving her heart palpitations, but what was she supposed to do, 5 weeks before the Midterm elections? Her numbers guy said that her district would re-elect her by a large margin-- it was red. It had always been red. It wasn’t like that hippie freak who was running against her had a chance in hell. People in Indiana loved her. People in DC though, where she spent considerably more of her time, hated her guts. The vitriol and fake news that journalists were spewing about her online proved that much.
“I’m gonna kill somebody,” Attica said. It was 7 am. She had already been to the gym, showered, sensibly done her hair and make-up, and put on the kind of suit that said ‘listen to me you dummy’. She brandished her phone at her Chief of Staff. “Do you see what they’re saying about me, Leon? They act like I’m some kind of younger, smarter, Chinese female version of Stalin all because they can’t bully me into voting for their stupid gun regulations. People are out there blowing each other up with their minds! What the fuck am I supposed to do, help get rid of guns and leave every sucker who can’t do magic defenseless?”
Leonard, Attica’s Chief of Staff and younger brother, shrugged helplessly. She liked to think of him as the RFK to her JFK. Without the whole getting shot in the head thing. “G-get off twitter,” he said. He was not partaking in the breakfast that Attica’s assistant picked up for the team. Something about the breakfast pastries and espresso made him bitch about how unhealthy it all was. Leon opted to bring a protein shake instead, which worked out for him. At 6 feet tall and weighing over 200 pounds of muscle, he was often mistaken for her bodyguard if he wasn’t dressed up. He kept his black hair shorn close to his head, which didn’t help either. It made him look like he was the type to rip people apart with his bare hands. “You’re obsessing.”
“Where the fuck is Myers?” she asked. “He’s my communications director. Shouldn’t he be out here, I don’t know, directing? Putting an end to all this fake bullshit.” Attica looked at her phone again, pulling up a particularly offensive tweet. “‘ King is unhinged and desperate, putting the needs of lobbyists in front of the needs of her constituents.’--and this is posted with that terrible picture of me, that unflattering close-up where I had pollen in my eyes so they looked red.” She was gripping her phone so tightly that her knuckles went white. “Now whose fault was that? I didn’t have my eye-drops.”
The only other staff member present, Attica’s personal assistant of 3 years, went bug eyed. This was magnified by her thick lensed glasses. She put up her hands defensively and almost dropped the armful of manila folders she was holding. “That’s not my fault, that picture was from when I took some personal time off.”
“That was when you were vacationing in the mental hospital again and I had to rely on a temp for two weeks and was completely up shit creek without you, Serena, so yes it was completely your fault.”
Serena was in her mid 20’s and pretty in a frazzled, underfed, nerdy way. She had only been hired because she was Iranian or something and Attica had been afraid she looked racist after making some allegedly offensive comments while supporting the President’s drone strikes in the Middle East. As it turned out, Serena was brilliant and had graduated from Notre Dame with a degree in Political Science, an inexplicable Chemistry minor, and a desire to work on the Hill. The only reason Attica hadn’t appointed her to a more important position at this point was due to her unfortunate tendency to eat handfuls of pills whenever life got too stressful.
Attica quickly cycled back to the matter at hand. She poured some coffee, which she knew would only make her keep vibrating. It was her 3rd cup of the day. She felt like a hummingbird. “What am I going to do about these people degrading me online?”
From where he sat on the couch, Leon leaned over to out his face in his hands. Dramatic bitch. “For the last time, remember the first amendment.”
“R-r-remember the f-f-first amendment,” Attica repeated in a high pitched child’s voice, mocking him. She chugged the rest of her coffee and caught Serena staring at her like she had lost her mind. At this rate she was going to going to have a heart attack before she turned 40. “Grandfather would have sent someone after those motherfuckers with a crowbar.”
“G-Grandfather was a monster.”
He was right. But being monstrous was just more effective. Who was that old dead guy who said it was better to be feared than loved? Napoleon?
Attica kept looking at her phone. Too bad people didn’t seem to fear her yet. She could feel the blood pounding in her face. When she was angry, her skin turned very red, blotchy and unattractive. It couldn’t be helped. And what she was reading made her angry. Half of what she was mentioned in was negative. And half of those were violent, threats against her. “Here,” she said, landing on an egregious one. “‘King’s giant tits once again distracting everyone from her cloven hooves lol’. I want this person dragged into the street and shot.”
“Jesus C-Christ, c-c-calm down.” The muscles in Leon’s face tightened. He was gritting his teeth.
“Ma’am, maybe you should put your phone away,” said Serena.
Attica kept reading. “‘The NRA owns King but how would she like it if she got used as target practice’. ‘If I saw (pretend this is an at sign)AtticaKingIN in real life I would punch that bitch in the face.’” She began to breathe faster. Were these people from Indiana? Would they vote? Did they actually hate her? Who were these people? “‘King is part of the GOP gestapo’. ‘(at)AtticaKingIN doesn’t care about gun violence in her own state, vote her out!’ ‘I hate that dumb cunt (at)AtticaKingIN she needs to shut her mouth or suck my dick’. ‘I--”
Leon stood up, snatched Attica’s phone out of her hands, then held it above her head where she couldn’t reach it. Attica punched him in the chest but her brother was a wall of muscle and didn’t seem to feel it.
“Seriously, A, you need to c-calm down,” he told her. Attica punched him again. “I don’t want to know about the threats anyone’s making towards you, it’s upsetting. At 9, that lobbyist who works for Madeline C-Caligaris--”
“Do you want some xanax?” Serena interrupted.
Attica spun around to glare at her. She was aware of how flushed she must look. It was just...she cared so much about what people thought about her. “No,” she said coldly, but breathing heavily. She brushed a strand of hair away from her face. Imagine if Grandfather could see her now. After all, he had wanted Leon to head the family business. Hell, before he died, the old man had even expressed regret for treating their youngest..brother, Milo, like a stray dog. But never her. And Attica had tried so hard for all those years and slaved away just to get his validation… “Do you need a xanax, Serena?”
“I do now,” muttered Serena.
Attica tried to grab her phone one more time, then gave up and sat down.
It wasn’t even 7:15.
She took a deep breath to clear her head. “Ok. Tell me about this lobbyist. Calligaris-- that’s the Proverge exec, right?”
Leon nodded curtly. He put his sister’s phone in his breast pocket and sat down next to her. With a sudden rush of urgency, Attica realized that all he had wanted to do was protect her. How had their roles switched like that? When they were little she constantly made herself torment the kids who picked on him for the way he talked. After 30 years he barely even stuttered anymore. “C-can I get those files from Foster v Proverge, please?” Serena leafed through her armful of papers and presented him with the relevant ones. “Thanks. You read this, A?”
“Let’s work under the assumption that I didn’t.” She had been too busy talking to her numbers guy about the polls the previous night to actually look into anything that would affect her policies.
“Proverge wants to build a factory in your district. Magic distillation for use in their products. 200 new jobs. They c-can’t get approval in Indiana anymore-- they c-can’t get approval from most places these days because of all the lawsuits. People protest.”
Attica rolled her eyes. Liberals. “What lawsuits?”
“From the early 2000’s. Proverge distillation factories in Georgia, Tennessee, and Michigan all attempted to c-cover up widespread negative variant medical symptoms that affected workers who were exposed to thauma-slurry being distilled unsafely.” Leon flipped a few pages of the file. “Mostly c-cosmetic. But there were c-claims that the exposure to the slurry also lead to violent psychological problems and some c-clearly unsafe environmental effects.”
People were so whiny. Attica shrugged. “200 new jobs is more important than a couple honest mistakes the company made. I want to make this happen-- an announcement about job creation could really push my numbers in the polls. If protests become a problem, I’ll just send in the cops to clean them up.” She paused. “Or, I’ll send in Milo.”
Leon looked at her like he was trying to peerinto her soul or something. His broad, honest face was genuinely concerned. What did he see in her face? Did he see the will to do whatever she had to? “He’s g-g-getting worse. You c-can’t keep doing that.”
“The fuck I can.”
“He’s not listening to me anymore.” Leon’s face twisted up. Out of the whole family, he was the only one who treated Milo as more than he was. He allowed their deviant half brother to terrorize everyone as he pleased, just because he felt sorry for the bastard. “He’s go-g-going to screw up.”
The thing about Milo, was that someone had to be holding his leash.
“He’s fine,” Attica said with finality. “Maybe if he fucks up bad enough, he’ll actually learn his lesson.”
Leon stood up, handed her phone back, and walked out of the room without saying another word.
“Are you talking about your creepy little brother again?” asked Serena. She was scurrying around, straightening up the breakfast pastries and exuding her nervous energy. “He makes me uncomfortable.”
Attica massaged her forehead. “Me too,” she said. “Can you get in touch with the Proverge people and make sure they’re on their way?”
“On it.”
She could feel a headache coming on. But getting the credit for creating 200 new jobs... it was worth it. It was even worth dealing with Milo. It was worth it. She could be proud of herself. It was worth it. It would all be worth it.
Wouldn’t it?

Nope.. nope.. nopee.. if fairness is the cause of You being sidelined, i can't accept that.. every midpoll that show You being no.1 in that poll, everyone seems like united to bring her down.. if that bcs of fairness, why they vote yoshiko again (like in sif poll) not the other member that never get elected and she's still get more screen time in the anime... fck that!
Whoa there.
I’m a You fan too, so I’d also love it if You got more screen time. It’s all right to be disgruntled about it, but I still think that You being sidelined is at least understandable. I also think there are perfectly valid explanations as to why Yoshiko gets so much attention.
In fact, if you take a closer look at the polls, Yoshiko doesn’t have as many major “wins” as You does.
Look at what I said before: Yoshiko shows up more because she’s a character that needs more growth and development. As you can see in S2E11, Yoshiko still struggles with the fact that she’s not exactly a popular gal (within the anime-verse, not in real life lol). We get that nice little scene with Riko and Maru at the fortune-telling tent because it shows that Yoshiko has friends at her side who support her when she’s down. The audience needs to be told that there’s nothing to worry about - even though Yoshiko’s still kind of a hot mess, she’s working on it with the help of her friends.
I think part of the reason why so many people flock to Yoshiko is that they feel a bit of pity for her. She’s always plagued by misfortune, whether it’s being caught in the rain at inopportune moments, or missing her middle school trip due to catching the flu (see Question #6 in her Q&A section). You, on the other hand, is a popular girl who is well-liked by everyone and quite successful at almost everything she does. If You is already popular in the 2D world and Yoshiko isn’t, why not make it “fair” and give Yoshiko some well-deserved recognition in the 3D world?
As for Yoshiko’s screen time, well…it does certainly help that Yoshiko is a popular character and great for comic relief. Again, like I said before, You is more of a stabilizing force in the group (apart from moments like the being-crushed-by-Maru running gag in the Hakodate episode). She’s there for moments like Chika’s late-night MIRACLE WAVE practice, and for keeping Chika grounded when the mikan-loving leader gets panicked about the school closing down.
I think the fact that You doesn’t show up too often gives these moments more value. When You tells Chika that she’s always wanted to do something with Chika and will always be there for her in S2E11, it’s a very crucial scene. This is something that she’s said before, in S1E1 (when she tells Chika that she’ll join the school idol club) and in S1E11 (in her conversations with Mari and Riko). We don’t see her say it again until S2E11 because You is, at her core, a very private person when it comes to her feelings.
In S1E1, when she briefly showed a sentimental side of herself to Chika, You was quick to wave aside the moment with a giggle and cheerfully hand over a club application; in S1E11, You doesn’t talk about what’s bothering her until Mari directly confronts her about it; in S2E11, You checks to make sure she’s alone before re-enacting the club recruitment calls. We don’t really need to see You declaring her support for Chika too often because we know that she’s the first member who joined Aqours and the most dependable person in the group. When You does say her feelings out loud, however, it’s at moments when You is so full of emotion that she can’t hold herself back. That’s how heartfelt these declarations are.
Is it frustrating that we don’t get more cute and funny filler scenes from You? Sure. But the scenes we do get are pivotal - You rushing to hug Chika after their all-nighter at the deadline for saving the school speaks volumes about how well she knows Chika, and how much she cares for her best friend’s well-being.
I’m getting a bit off-topic here though. Let’s go back to the subject you brought up: the polls. Here are the results of the polls that have been done so far, roughly in chronological order of when the results were revealed; I’ll only be listing the top three for each:
2nd center election (KoiAqua): Midpoll = You / Ruby / Riko; Final = You / Ruby / Riko
Numazu Gamers poster girl: Midpoll = You / Yoshiko / Hanamaru; Final = Yoshiko / You / Hanamaru
Dengeki G’s cover girl: Midpoll = Hanamaru / Yoshiko / You; Final = Hanamaru / You / Chika (Note: Voters had to pick both a girl and a date spot, so some girls showed up multiple times in the final rankings, e.g. You + Date Spot 1 followed by You + Date Spot 2)
7-11 image girl: Midpoll = You / Riko / Hanamaru; Final = Riko / You / Hanamaru
3rd center election (HPT): Midpoll = Yoshiko / Kanan / Hanamaru; Final = Kanan / Yoshiko / Hanamaru
SIF Winter Promo UR (Snowboarding You): Midpoll = Hanamaru / You / Kanan; Final = You / Hanamaru / Kanan
Uraraji hosts (GuuRinPa): Midpoll = Yoshiko / Dia / Kanan; Final = Yoshiko / Dia / Chika (Note: Chika was in 4th place in the midpoll results)
Sega image girl: Midpoll = You / Chika / Hanamaru; Final = Hanamaru / Chika / Yoshiko
LisAni cover girl: You / Kanan / Chika (Note: AFAIK midpoll results weren’t released)
SIF 5th anniversary campaign girl: Midpoll = You / Riko / Yoshiko; Final = Yoshiko / Mari / Riko
I might have missed one or two, but these are all the polls I can recall at the moment. Using these results, here’s how many times each girl has won an election:
3 times = You, Yoshiko
2 times = Hanamaru
1 time = Riko, Kanan, Dia, Chika
0 (*Chika voice* It’s so frustrating!) = Ruby, Mari
Just based on the final results, you can guess that You, Yoshiko, and Maru are the most popular girls, with Ruby and Mari being near the bottom. And yes, with these numbers, it does seem that Yoshiko is abnormally popular. However, when you take some additional factors into account, Yoshiko’s ranking actually drops below You’s.
Here’s what you need to consider: why did a certain girl win a poll? And how much weight should you give that poll?
While the elections and polls do indicate a character’s popularity level, they only do so to a certain extent. You topped out polls very often in the early days, with her crowning moment being the KoiAqua center election. Winning a center election, especially at such an early stage for Aqours, is a really big deal.
Recall that when KoiAqua was released, the anime hadn’t aired yet, so many of the characters lacked substantial depth. In fact, the KoiAqua audio dramas provided the most character development at that point, as it established things such as: (1) You knowing when to hold Chika back to prevent poor Riko from going insane, (2) Kanan and Mari being chill while Dia stresses out in the background, and (3) Hanamaru getting along surprisingly well with Yoshiko’s fallen angel antics while also doting on Ruby. Our favorite yousoro kid provided the most interesting character profile at the time (Anchan once mentioned how “yousoro~” was already popular with crowds back in 2015 when they were promoting the KimiKoko album), and established herself as a popular character from very early on in the history of LLS.
To make it fair for others to get their chance in the spotlight, most people opted to vote for other characters in later polls. Even as a You fan myself, I didn’t vote for You in the 3rd single center election (for HAPPY PARTY TRAIN), and wasn’t really rooting for her in subsequent elections either. Poll results tend to be skewed because people want the distribution of wins to be “fair”. Chika and Riko don’t score too well in center elections because they had “Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteru kai?”, and You slipped down to around 5th place for the 3rd center election. This doesn’t mean they got less popular - it just means that the votes are going to other characters that deserve a shot at winning.
A center election is kind of like the ultimate prize - the character gets to have the main solo of a song, and be the star of an animated PV. Center elections have been a key part of the LL history ever since the inception of µ’s. These songs are “the story we realize together” as fans can influence what they want to see in the next single. Everyone knows that You is the center of KoiAqua, as it’s a major part of LLS history and is guaranteed multiple performances in live concerts. How many LL fans can you say will remember who the 7-11 image girl is in a year or two? Like, if I had to assign each poll a score of how important it is from 1 to 5, I’d probably give something like the LisAni cover girl a 1, the Sega cover girl a 2, and the center election a 10. Yes, you read that correctly. With how crucial music is to Love Live, you can’t really say that winning the rights to a limited-time figurine or one-time illustration tops a center election win.
Because You won a major election, that does incentivize people to not vote for her in these polls. However, I think it speaks to You’s popularity that she gets 1st place in nearly every midpoll result despite this. Her ultimately failing to get 1st place at the end of the poll is less of an effort by others to “bring her down”, and more of a push to “raise others up”. Before the midpoll results come out, most people tend to vote haphazardly. After the results come out, people usually choose someone within the top three (as those girls have a better chance at winning) to support and then vote in a more organized manner. That’s how Suwawa and Aikyan ended up in an aggressive Twitter campaign for their girls during the HPT center election - Yoshiko was shown as 1st place while Kanan was 2nd in the midpoll results. The fact that You is nearly always in 1st place before this targeted voting begins is a sure sign that she’s generally popular overall.
It’s not like You never won a poll after the KoiAqua election, either - she won the SIF promo UR election last year, plus she became the LisAni cover girl earlier this year. Granted, the LisAni girl appeals were done while Season 1 was airing, and were made by the seiyuu to boot (so this might be a case of Shukashuu’s popularity helping out), but the fact still remains that it’s You who graced the cover of LisAni Vol. 29 back in May.
Now, what about Yoshiko winning the SIF Anniversary election? Since she already had two wins under her belt, wouldn’t it seem fair to give it to someone like Mari or Ruby?
First off, I did say that these polls aren’t necessarily a popularity contest, but that doesn’t mean that popularity has no effect on the results. The SIF 5th Anniversary Election was a unique poll because unlike other recent polls, it was literally a popularity contest (with a touch of nostalgia, as evidenced by Nico getting first place for µ’s). That meant that people would cast aside whose “turn” it was to win something, as they’d simply be voting for the campaign girl of their choice.
You also have to remember that this poll was a lot more well-known to the global community than other (non-center election) LLS polls due to it being SIF-based and involving all three LL generations. Like, I was actually surprised that Mari scored 2nd place for Aqours in the final tally because she’s not that popular in Japan. However, Mari does enjoy a lot of popularity in the English-speaking community, so I suspect that might have played a role in her final rank. The fact that Mari has yet to win anything might have boosted support for her as well.
As for Ruby - well, I predict that because of the Hakodate arc, we’re going to see a lot more love for Ruby in future polls. I’ve already heard stories of people going to shops and finding that prices for Ruby merchandise have started going up. But because those episodes started airing right as the poll was ending (S2E8 first aired on November 25, and the poll closed on November 26), Ruby was still suffering from relative unpopularity at the time. So, although it would have been nice for either Mari or Ruby to win, they simply didn’t have the numbers to support them.
I think that Yoshiko won the SIF election, and deserved to win, for two reasons: (1) Yoshiko is legitimately a popular character, and (2) Yoshiko hadn’t really won a major popularity contest before this.
Let me explain the second point. Recall that earlier in this post, I asked, “why did a certain girl win a poll? And how much weight should you give that poll?” I answered the second question, but didn’t fully address the first. What the first question amounts to is that if you look at Yoshiko’s two other wins, they were given to her for a specific reason rather than out of popularity.
We can illustrate this with another poll result. Hanamaru was 3rd place in the Sega image girl midpoll results, but ended up first place. If we consider the fact that people have a tendency to avoid voting for You because of KoiAqua, then why not vote for poor Chika instead, who’s never done well in polls? Well, in Hanamaru’s focus episode, she became strongly associated with Rin due to their shared self-consciousness about their femininity. Guess who the Sega image girl for µ’s was?
If it wasn’t obvious, then yes, Rin was the former Sega image girl.
So was this poll really an indication of popularity/fairness, or more like people voting for whoever they thought was the “rightful” winner of a certain prize?
A more famous example is the 3rd center election. This is a story that many people probably know by now, but I’ll tell it just in case: Kanan ranked last place in the 2nd center election, and had been in the bottom ranks for other polls before. The 3rd center election happened to start after S1 aired, and everyone was feeling particularly sensitive about how much Kanan had suffered (both in the anime sense during the Mijuku DREAMER episode, and in the meta sense for not getting a lot of lines initially in S1). People were insanely emotional about Kanan being able to go from the neglected character to the adored, beautiful star of the next major Aqours album, and celebrated triumphantly when it turned out that she actually won the election.
What’s important to remember with these “rightful” wins is that they have no bearing on whether it was that character’s “turn” to win - because if that win should have been given to the character in the first place, why should it count? (Song center elections are an exception to these wins not counting as a “turn”, which should hopefully be obvious by now after my explanation of their importance in LL.)
With that in mind, let’s look at Yoshiko’s first win - the Numazu Gamers election. Yoshiko was perceived as the “rightful” winner of that one because she was the Aqours member who had Numazu featured prominently in her character profile. You does also live in the area, but IIRC this fact was never established until the anime started airing. In addition, Yoshiko is described as an avid fan of gaming - and who better to represent a Gamers store than a gamer herself? Yoshiko did really deserve to win this one.
Now, how about the Uraraji poll? I’m gonna be honest here - I consider this more of a seiyuu poll than a character poll. Because Uraraji is hosted by the seiyuu, the voting for the hosts was really done with the seiyuu in mind. Kanan probably performed well in the midpoll results at first because Suwawa has such a calming radio voice, but ultimately most folks decided that someone else should have a chance to be a radio host. Ainya and Suwawa already have radio shows, and Kinchan has a regular gaming stream, so they were probably set aside for that reason. As entertaining as Shukashuu, Furirin, and Rikyako are, they’re kind of erratic on air and prone to wild behavior (LOL sorry guys).
Anchan was the first host of Uraraji, and has proven herself to be a capable leader of Aqours. She’s also hosted her own radio show before, so it’s likely that she was voted as a safe choice. Arisha, despite her busy schedule, was probably voted in as a combination of (1) being able to keep everyone in line during the show and (2) people wanting Dia to get some love in the polls.
So, what about Yoshiko/Aikyan?
All right, now here’s something I personally remember from Twitter at the time - the Uraraji election was done after Kanan was crowned the winner of the 3rd single election. When Aikyan found out that Yoshiko had slipped from 1st place to 2nd place, she posted an absolutely heartbreaking message about it. I’m too lazy to look for the original tweet, sorry…but roughly, she said something along the lines of it being frustrating to have been so close to winning, despite all the work she put into campaigning for Yoshiko (seriously, Aikyan and Suwawa were spamming tweets every day towards the end of the 3rd center election, going as far as snapping cute selfies to entice people to vote for their character). She vowed that the 4th center election would be her time to be victorious (as 4 is a number associated with death in Asia; quite fitting for a little demon).
(In fact, while it seems like Hanamaru is on most people’s minds for the 4th election - or at least that’s what I’ve seen on social media - I’ve already decided to vote for Yoshiko on behalf of Aikyan. )
I don’t remember where the idea spawned, but I did see a lot of talk afterwards about giving Yoshiko the #1 spot in the Uraraji poll to sort of “make up” for the 3rd center election loss (and also safeguard against Aikyan possibly getting crushed again if Yoshiko happened to not stay within the top 3). Granted, Yoshiko had already been doing pretty well in the poll, but the number of people pledging support for her grew exponentially during this time. Thus, even if you ignore the fact that the Uraraji election was more of a win for Aikyan than Yoshiko, it also happened to be a consolation prize. :\
So with that, we have You with two popularity contest wins under her belt (SIF promo UR poll and LisAni girl) plus a center election win (which alone probably counts as winning, like, 5 polls lol). Yoshiko has one (the SIF Anniversary poll), plus two wins that were sort of given to her. I think it’s safe to say that it seems pretty “fair” for poor Yoshiko to get some love.
In the end, you are allowed to be mad about You not getting more screen time. Does it seem unfair that she’s not winning more polls or getting more screen time? A little, yeah. But the fact remains that she’s a bit too popular for her own good, and she already won a major election (KoiAqua). It’d actually be unfair if You got to have a center song under her belt plus a lot of screen time plus more poll victories. When you take certain factors into consideration, the SIF Anniversary poll is really Yoshiko’s only legitimate popularity vote win. Please don’t abuse the poor fallen angel - she already goes through enough;;
And as a final note: honestly, I don’t really think the polls have too much impact on the anime. It’s already established that the anime-verse is separate from other branches of the series (e.g. Dia not being a school idol fan in the SIF stories, Kanan being the first one to join Aqours in the manga, Maru’s childhood friend being Ruby rather than Yoshiko in the SIDs). Necessities of plot and character growth are what mostly make up screen time. Why would the fact that one of the girls got to be a Sega image girl or a SIF campaign girl have anything to do with this…?

There's a user in Reddit that says that cyl should be a popularity contest and "Nor being in the game" or "having 0 alts" shouldn't be a reason to vote a chara, but then admitted to be content if both Byleths, Ashe and Marianne win bc "They're from a popular game" When Ashe and Marianne will get voted for not being in the game and MByleth for having no alts. Also say that Micaiah and Alm sohuldn't have won either and I'm just like... ok buddy... whatever you say...
Man, why do we even talk to Reddit anymore?
The problem is that, while I understand what they’re saying and even kind of agree, they’re missing the point of CYL. Yes, it should be a pure popularity contest. The favorites should win, because they are the favorites, and if one game in particular is popular it makes sense and is fair that those characters win, even if people have shit taste (looking at you, Touhou Popularity Poll). But that’s not what CYL is for. Not functionally, at least. Were it just a harmless popularity, they’d be right. But it’s not. It’s clearly what they use to gauge interest in characters and games, and has a direct consequence in the Brave alts. That’s something everyone is aware of, and thus something every votes based on. This is your chance not just to win the Brave alt, but to see characters you like get attention. People can argue about Veld until they’re blue in the face, but no one is actually unaware that he is an exception and not the rule. CYL placement does matter, even if it’s not absolute. There’s no reason to think otherwise when so many banners have the favorites selected from each game getting in, or things like Dorothea and Bernadetta getting alts before Marianne’s even in the game. Arguing that it shouldn’t matter misses the fact that it does regardless of what you want, and arguing that it doesn’t is disingenuous.
I mean, they’re also going to be voted because they’re popular, but those factors do mean that they’re near guaranteed to win instead of just being high ranking. And Micaiah had an alt and was in the game by that point, Micaiah definitely deserved to win. Alm I think would’ve won too, since lack of alts wouldn’t account exclusively for how many votes he had over Eliwood. I think arguing that Alm didn’t deserve to win is just ludicrous, as much as arguing he only won because of no alts. I think every win was legitimate. I mean aside from the well-documented spite voting of Veronica, which should’ve been spite-voting for Eirika since she was 3rd prior and would’ve made more sense, but no sure let’s get a random OC into second instead of one of the best lords in the series, it’s fine, definitely not bitter about this because of how bad CYL5 is going to go.

EPISODE 1:
HOH: CHRIS
EVICTED: REHDER 15-0
KORI:
My first Diary Room, I'm really loving the cast right now. Haven't talked to Dem, Chris, Andrew, Rheder, Silence, Madison or Kristine yet since they have yet to be on. Hoping this was more of a some people were kindof busy or just couldn't stay up for Cast Reveal and NOT a Oh we're all gonna be a bunch of inactive bitches. Emma talked about being UTR with our relationship and actually work together this ORG for the first time after 2 times failing to do so. Dunno if that's gonna work out, but hey third time's the charm maybe. Eve and Jess are icons as per usual I'm excited to finally be playing a game with them. Eve is suggesting a possible Jackbox Alliance, we'll see if that's like an actual thing I feel like that's the easy thing though and I don't know if that's what I actually want. I definitely plan to ride with that for a little while though. Gwen is sweetheart, she seems like a Discord noob, hoping that's not like a face personality to make her seem more endearing. I'm hoping to get good with Tawni and Mackenzie, meanwhile Brien, Austin, and Nicky I'm pretty medium with so far. I'm HOPING I can like develop good relationships with all of them. But like the female side of this cast is stacked, and the men kindof leave a lot to be desired so far. Hopefully when the other half wakes up I'll get a feel for them some more.
KORI:
So, it's been not even 5 hours, I'm now in 2 alliances, one which is like not even remotely serious because Nicky just put everyone in the VC in an alliance... which is wild. Chris and Kristine came on, Chris is... interesting, for some reason I don't get good vibes from him. Something about his tone or the way he talks. He isn't really saying anything wrong, but at least on VC I don't get good vibes at all. Kristine seems like a sweetie, she's from MI too so I feel like we COULD have tons to talk about. Who knows though. Maybe she's a fake betch, only time will tell. (But hopefully she's a real one.) Still waiting on those others to get online at some point though, I need to feel EVERYONE out and so far there's still too many people that I have like no fucking clue on.
NICKY:
i honestly don’t know anyone and i’m paranoid to not be on call cuz they probably talking shit about me
JESS:
Question of the day: Why are there so many straight white males here?!
AUSTIN:
I’m super excited to be in this season of board game big brother! I’m trying to have conversations with every houseguest and make a good first impression but it’s hard to keep 17 conversations going at the same time. Also the first head of household competition has begun! I don’t want to win the first HOH because I don’t want a target on my back this early.
REDHER:
**DIARY ROOM THINGAMAJIG**: I feel that I could definitely make my move. My experience with survivor definitely suits good here. Kori, Eve, and Andrew were quick to contact me and negotiate. I feel like I could definitely use my age as an advantage ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Only one I’m not liking rn is eve she just comes on too hard but nothing really too bad yet.
JESS:
So... hmmm.. this game is.. interesting? so far? I've already been attacked by the hosts and the majority of this cast. Don't @ me but... pineapple does NOT belong on pizza! In all seriousness... this is a WEIRD group of people. Some new faces, old faces, and a bunch of unknowns. My game plan in all honesty as of right now is to let Eve think she can control me. She is one of the few people I know in this game so I kind of have no choice but to work with her while I put in the ground work with others. I want her to think I'm one of her "minions" so she thinks I'm useful and I'll do whatever she wants for now... Big personalities are sinking ships in Big Brother so gotta come up with that plan B for when Eve (probably) falls. BUT i'm kind of just trying to take this a bit slow and trying to talk to everyone right now so no brain power required. PS: I refuse to touch that HOH with a 10 foot poll. Let's do a mini little trust list? 1. Jess 100. Everyone else I don't trust any of these hoes.
KRISTINE:
So happy that Chris got HOH we came into this game together hoping one of us would win HOH and that’s exactly what happened. I’m 100% confident that I’m not going to be nominated!!! We worked together and I gave him as much information as I could. We both did. It worked perfectly. And he made himself the bigger target anyways.
MACKENZIE:
I’m a LIIIIITLE mad i came close to winning and didn’t but it’s okay bc i Kinda didn’t want too idk hxjsjzjz does chris exist though? i swear i haven’t seen him online HHHH
CHRIS:
How did I win the HOH. Not only do I have power but I also have no idea what I am doing. I am a dog trying to mix chemicals or trying to use a computer while being blindfolded and having one arm tied to my leg. I am more than happy and excited to be the first HOH but I know that brings a gigantic target on my back when I have to nominate two people. I want to make a huge move and take out any big bodies there are earlyBut I have learned that that isn’t a good scenario to start with. Hopefully I’ll have a better idea of who I want to vote for tomorrow when I talk to my closest allies which is just me and myself so looks like I’m talking to myself everyone. Well I want to go figure this out now hope y’all have a good time
KORI:
Chris is apparently VERY lucky somehow snagging the first HoH despite seeming to not really talk with anyone. So I'm honestly kindof annoyed would've preferred a Mackenzie or Eve win but not much I can really do but shut my trap and suck up in a way that doesn't seem blatantly fake. He's currently talking to me about wanting to target big and talkative people. "Fuck the VL as it were." So RIP Eve probably. I won $20 in that little task which is fun. I'm HOPING telling the Jackbox Crew wasn't a mistake, I hope the $20 isn't going to be a major reason for anyone to want me to go, especially since it's like, such a minor amount of money I feel like especially when you look towards the long term. I want to trust that group for right now though. Overall this HoH situation kinda sucks since we're probably going to lose a personality, and even more likely it'll turn out to be someone I like. Guuuhhh.
NICKY:
omg it’s joshua bassett birthday!!! periodt!! me remaining unbothered in jail because my mentions are off heheheheh
AUSTIN:
So.... nominations are tonight. I’m feeling pretty good because I’ve been chatting with Chris and we seem to be getting along. We are going to try to get a group of seven people together so we have numbers for the following weeks, but anything can happen, after all this is big brother!
BRIEN:
youtube
WILLIAM:
So obviously I'm pissed that I am nominated.... Like wtf did I ever do you, but in a way it is my fault... I have been sick the last few days and have just been laying in bed. Also I love how out of everyone in the game Chris was the one person I did not talk to before the HoH.
NICKY:
literally these people are so fucking annoying- i’ll just hop online for like 5 seconds and say nothing and all of sudden half of the cast is my dms like hey hi good morning
EMMA:
youtube
GWEN:
Fuck Cheatham This is my first official DR. I am at my mom’s house and I left my computer at home, so this will probably be shorter than usual. Yay for phones. Looks like Rehder will be the evictee tonight. Unfortunately, he did not reach out to me until like a day after the veto comp. Can I put emojis here? If I could it would be rolling eyes emoji. The uuuuuuhhliance is...it exists. Will stay loyal until I can’t I guess. The Mandela Monocles is where it is at. I feel bad that Silence got roped in my Rehder and Will for another alliance...he didn’t ask for it. I hope it doesn’t come back and bite him. Me and Kori are Left Phalanges. We will win. K thanks byyyeee
TAWNI:
I’m sick. I have no energy. I probably should have done this earlier but I wasn’t planning on being sick. I honestly don’t even know who is nominated. Neither one has messaged me soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
REHDER:
I’m doing not too good. William and Silence are confirmed and they are branching out, everyone else I’ve talked too is going with the house and I’m currently trying to convince them that the house is with me but idk. Probably exiting after tonight. It was a good run but I guess I’m only good at survivors. Anyways, I hope I get to stay in
NICKY:
i’m concerned about a couple things 1. everyone telling me i’m safe 2. everyone acting like they are in an alliance with everyone and everyone knows the plan so even if i’m safe- it feels like everyone in some big alliance and that doesn’t work well with me
WILLIAM:
I've got 2 things to say!!! IM SO PUMPED THAT I HAVE WON VETO!!! WOOOOOO. I do trust alot of people in the house but I feel much better being able to save myself and be here another week.... Also I dont know what Rehder's strategy is but it ain't working 😂😂 Hes texting me all these people who's votes he has and doesnt and another list of those who I have to text for him! What!!!!! Also I dont know if he knows but half of his list he gave plan on voting him out tonight ☠
BRIEN:
youtube
KORI:
Well as it currently stands Rehder SHOULD be going home. Which is a shame in some ways he seemed like a nice kid... messy, but still nice. I've tried pulling back a bit since Kristine mentioned that someone views me as a social threat. Not sure that's totally accurate, but if someone is viewing me that way I need to carefully and meticulously figure out who that person is, and kick their ass to the curb. As it currently stands I think the 2 3 people I'm struggling with the most as far as conversation is Dem, Tawni, and Chris. Eve seems to think Chris is under their mist, which I mean go off, like its gonna be funny when Chris wins HoH 6 weeks from now and is ready for that #Chaos he wanted for this week. My #2 right now is probably Gwen. While I do love Eve and value their partnership, I can't help but feel like I'm replaceable for the whole Jackbox Crew. I'm still not looking to make a move any of the next couple of weeks, we'll have to see how the game progresses to know where exactly I'll go. It's also still just the first week, so my opinion on everything may very well change, the game is just starting and I'm raring to pop anyone who crosses me.
EVE:

ANDREW:
watching the cast videos now im going to give you my thoughts 1. i wanted to barf watching nickys 2. gwen is a bad bitch i hope she wins 3. omg i feel so dumb cuz i was talking to austin like we was 13 cuz i thought he was honestly .... and hes not.. hopefully i can recover. but idc. hes a little boring but sweet. 4. i hope mackenzie is nice to me. 5. fuck yeah jess lets chug a beer together 6. WILLIAM....Bowling With Buddies....Im going to nominate him if I win. 7. Kristine is the second prettiest here, next to me. Hope she wins too  Shes adorbs  8. silence is cool i want to work with him 9. SHUT THE FUCK UP BRIEN actually nvm i kinda like him i wanna work with him I've talked to Chris a decent amount prior to him winning hoh so im feeling kind of good that i wont be nominated but i dont want to get comfortable because bitches are wild around here. My HoH performance.....FUcking embarrasing. Especially since people were asking me if i wanted to win and i was like yeah why not Austin proposed an alliance with me yesterday and i was just kinda like yeah i mean i’m open to anything that has safety involved and then today he told me he also talked to chris prior to hoh about creating an alliance with me and him called the gents, which is a fuckin hideous name i had no idea that he was going to ask ppl to join in on shit i thought it was kinda just gonna be a low-key u got my back i got urs but i mean chris is in a position of power so it’s definitely not the worst thing for my game, i just hope austin isn’t making himself look like a fool in the process of trying to make these connections because he is also saying my name to chris and i just don’t want to be openly associated with anybody yet if chris isn’t on the same page yknow But right now i’m just going to ride the waves i don’t really want to challenge anyone or anything just yet

SnK Chapter 92 Poll Results
The chapter 92 poll closed with 500 reported entries.
RATE THE CHAPTER (486 responses)
This chapter had a better reception than the last one. Seeing Reiner and Zeke was cited as a factor by many. Also the action was hard to resist.
that was an interesting way to set up a new story arc. i don’t really know whether i liked it or not, and i’m really eager to see what’s going on with our main crew. i’m gonna reserve most of my judgement until there’s a bigger picture though, so i can fully see what’s going on and why Isayama decided to start like this.
I have no idea what’s going on anymore.
Switching perspectives and presenting intel for readers from new, fresh and different povs is an ability Isayama has like no other, tho can be criticized for its abruptness and the kinda unexplained way it came crashing to the story..but nevertheless I enjoyed it and I think Isayama aced it.
It’s odd, I can see the effort made for us to connect with these new characters. But that just isn’t working for me sadly. While this and the previous chapters have been useful, I would have preferred more SC content. In particular reactions to the recent losses
I have no idea if it was intentional or not but Zeke’s dramatic “War is bad” line right as he chucked a fistful of rocks at the boats was hilarious. Like stahp Isayama I can’t handle all this Edge.
Zeke did the superhero landing, now I can die in peace
I’m grateful as we’ve finally seen Zeke’s method of turning humans into titans and I believe it has nothing to do with his titan form since he’s able to use it without shifting
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF REINER’S NEW LOOK? (482 responses)
Unsurprisingly, 86% of the fandom found something here to agree on. Reiner scored extremely well on the scale from “No Thanks” to “Hello Daddy”!
Reiner is getting hotter with each passing chapter. I fear we may rapidly be approaching a state of ultimate hotness that may be too much for us mere mortals to handle.
I am sad that “Hot Dayum Daddy-o” Is not an acceptable answer for Reiner’s hotness rating.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF ZEKE’S SHORT HAIR? (483 responses)
While the results were still favorable, Zeke’s long luscious locks were missed by a significant portion of the fandom. The scale from “No Thanks” to “Hella Hot” had the largest percentage of respondents sat right in the middle.
THE DRUGGED ELDIANS BEING USED AS WEAPONS WAS THE MOST TRAGIC MOMENT OF THE CHAPTER. WHAT WAS THE #2? (483 responses)
I was very curious what this result would be. I watch the poll numbers shift back and forth between sympathy for Reiner and the big picture view of Eldians as whole. In the end “The world’s view of Eldians” narrowly edged out Reiner’s flashback and comment about walls at the 2nd most tragic moment.
Seeing what actually fighting within the walls has done to Reiner–his trauma, etc. was an excellent contrast to the relative innocence the new cast gives off, and it’s heartbreaking to consider that the Warriors we know may have once been the same way. Eren & co. please arrive promptly and save them.
Reiners flashback scene was the most impactful moment in my opinion. It was so heartbreaking.
I thought poop machine was bad, titan carpet bombing is even more wtf
Devastating. To see the Eldians being used as mindless weapons was severely disturbing. And Zeke finally realising that War is indeed a terrible thing.
These chapters are hella intense and enlightening about the world outside. It’s still really sick though. Totally sick I can’t even.
LAST MONTH THERE WAS OVERWHELMING SUPPORT FOR GABI. HAS THIS CHAPTER CHANGED YOUR OPINION OF HER? (445 responses)
Gabi’s glee in the last chapter didn’t sit well with some people. In this chapter she was more sedate, but still very much in it to win it, even accusing Falco of having ulterior motives for rescuing that dying enemy soldier. While the majority claim to have had no real shift in opinion, I urge you to look at the next question to see how popularity numbers have changed.
Her sympathy for her older warriors. that line with “Reiner… be careful” killed me
Her character seems more sympathetic. She was kind of a brat last chapter. This chapter she seems to actually see the realities of war.I was supposed to have an opinion on her?
I lost a lot of respect for her when she didn’t support Falco’s choice to help the soldier from the other side
Something that stuck out to me was Gabi’s concern for Reiner, “Reiner… be careful.” It’s a bit odd, she wants his power (aka eat him) but is concerned for him?
I think it was kinda satisfying to see Gabi’s view on the world change since she seemed so cocky before hand.
I was supposed to have an opinion on her?
WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE OF THE NEW RECRUITS? (471 responses)
In the last chapter poll, support for Gabi is overwhelming. She had 38% of the popular vote and Colt was second with 25%. Falco was sitting in 3rd with only 19%. But look at how opinions have changed! Falco is new best boy with 37.2% picking him as favorite while Gabi has dropped more than 10 percentage points.
Gabi and Falco warmed on me but not enough. I still want to spend the whole volume on Marley before moving on.
It was really disturbing to realize that Annie, Bertolt, Reiner, and Marcel were once probably just like Gabi, Falco, Udo, etc. They might have been idealistic, prone to kindness even to their enemies (like Falco)…
HAS REINER’S LUCK FINALLY RUN OUT? (474 responses)
The overwhelming majority think Reiner’s streak of immortality will continue. This is one of those times that I disagree. I think Reiner’s titan age plus the severity of his hit may have weakened him to the point of no return.
I’m still sad about Reiner’s potential fate but I have to get prepared for him to die next chapter or in the chapter after. Poor boy only dedicated his life to an imposed duty since childhood without a break, on top of losing everybody he loved.
Since Reiner’s been knocked out (again XD) it could be a good time for the next chapter to open up with a flashback and end with him waking up? He’s been kept alive for a while, and there’s obviously a reason for it.
Maybe im in denial but Reiner cant die yet, he’s the warrior that knows the enemy best and needs to teach someone to use the 3dmg (If he hasnt already in these 4 years)
WHO DO YOU THINK IS GOING TO INHERIT REINER’S TITAN FORM? (477 responses)
Last month 39.3% thought Reiner would keep his power. Confidence has grown slightly in chapter 92 with 42.3% thinking he’ll stay around a bit longer.
i hope reiner will not gonna die because of gabi , if isayama want to kill him no matter what i want him to die like a hero
I really don’t want Reiner and Zeke to be replaced, as I don’t see how that would add anything to the story and many conflicts would never be resolved.
WHO DO YOU THINK IS GOING TO INHERIT ZEKE’S TITAN FORM? (473 responses)
Last month 55.4% thought Zeke would keep his power. That number has increased to 58.6% with The Jaeger Brothers Reunion Tour cited as the primary reason.
The real difference here is that last month 26% thought Colt would be his successor. That number is down to only 16.3% with Falco gaining the difference.
I wish they would show why zeke was the holder of the key to the whole story.
I don’t think Zeke is going to get eaten, not soon, at least. He’s got so many plot points that require him
I can’t wait until Eren re-unites with Zeke.
Perhaps I’m really reaching, but I hope Zeke was genuine when he said he’d save Eren.
I refuse to bid Zeke farwell before he gets to see his lil bro once more
DA BEAST DADDY IS DA BEST DADDY.
WE GOT A LOOK AT GALLIARD’S EXTREME AGILITY. DO YOU THINK HE ATE YMIR? (474 responses)
Last month 39.8% of people thought Ymir was dead. While this question isnt identical, it carries the same thought. 69.2% of people think Galliard is a new and unique shifter and not a recycled Ymir.
While Gaillard is agile, Ymir’s titan didn’t have the special jaw design, which would be weird AF if she really was the “Jaw Titan.” So I’m pretty sure she’s still safe
I feel 50/50 about the probabilities of Galliard eating Ymir, but the agility he has is not a proof, i don’t believe the “every titan has a unique ability” thing.
I hope Ymir isn’t dead not just bc she’s my bae, but bc, contrary to Reiner to who I don’t see relevant to the story anymore, so, Ymir is…
YAMS my man dude bro I wanna know the dealy-o with Ymir ASAP thx
WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE PIECK AND GALLIARD’S HUMAN FORMS IN THE NEXT CHAPTER? (475 responses)
People are curious, but seeing Pieck and Galliard as humans is not as important as seeing the main cast.
I’m really hoping to see Galliard and Pieck’s human forms soon. Since there were many parallels between RBA and EMA and Zeke is said to be like a warrior Levi, I’m hoping for Galliard and Pieck to be like some warrior versions of Erwin and Hange.
I do want to see Galliard and Pieck’s human forms but not if it means we get another Marley chapter. It’s time to go back to the real protagonists.
HOW READY ARE YOU FOR THE MANGA TO MOVE BACK TO OUR MAIN CAST? (486 responses)
I’ll leave this one without my usual commentary :D
All I hoped for was to at least see Reiner and Zeke again. But I’m ready to see my children again next month. :’)
honestly I really want to see Eren’s side again, but I think it would be extremely entertaining to discover what exactly changed within the Walls and the Scouting Legion from Reiner/Zeke/Marley’s point of view once they will actually attack them. It would mean more surprises which is always good, no matter how much I’m dying to see what our other characters look like now.
please @ god i miss our main cast babies
I can’t wait to see Eren & Co! \>o</ Maybe Armin had grew his hair into a Ponytail too!
back to eren, please
fans are making too much drama for the recent lack of the main trio and the 104th squad. I’m more happy to learn about new characters outside the island and see differents points of view about the world
It’s all well and good to introduce new characters but this late in the story, after all these very dramatic plot/character changes and massive mystery revelations it’s a bit… abrupt, to suddenly be with all these new people. I feel like it’s a different series and no one told me about it.
WHICH CHARACTERS DO YOU GENERALLY ENJOY THE MOST (484 responses)
Last month 42.1% cited the 104th as faves; 33% favored the vets; 10.9% said the warriors. This month the warriors saw the a nice increase, moving up to 14.7%.
Final thoughts
There are more chapter thoughts in this post. If I didn’t publish your comment, please know that I read it and I thank you for the support. Even though these polls are more silly than serious, I enjoy getting a perspective that’s wider than my own. Thank you!

Vivian Krause: Rachel Notley, the Rockefellers and Alberta’s landlocked oil
Alberta is in the final days before an election and the backbone industry of its economy is practically broken because all pipeline projects out of the province have been stalled or ended. This didn’t happen for no reason. This was planned and is precisely what a Rockefeller Brothers Fund campaign was funded to bring about.
The Tar Sands Campaign has been running for more than a decade with financial help from the US$870-million Rockefeller family philanthropic foundation. The goal of the campaign, as CBC reported in January, is to sabotage all pipeline projects that would export crude oil from Western Canada to lucrative overseas markets.
Northern Gateway, Energy East, Keystone XL, Trans Mountain and Line 3 have all been targeted. Most of the talk about this campaign has focused on how this activism chokes the oil industry, but tax documents indicate it also takes aim at natural gas.
The reason Alberta needs pipelines is so that local producers aren’t forced to sell only into the U.S. market, often at a steep discount. As it is, Alberta forfeits billions of dollars in lost royalties and revenue because there’s no infrastructure for getting large volumes of oil to overseas markets where buyers pay more.
Gwyn Morgan: Talk about ‘collusion’: How foreign-backed anti-oil activists infiltrated Canada’s government
Canadians are realizing foreign groups sabotaged our energy economy — for no good reason
Terence Corcoran: The ugly pipeline war is no accident. It was the plan
Canadian producers are stuck selling into the United States for whatever they get, but if Alberta is ever going to complete a new pipeline or extend an existing one, it needs a premier who has the courage and the ability to stand up to the Rockefellers and bring the Tar Sands Campaign to an end.
Until very recently, I was convinced that Premier Rachel Notley was sincere and committed to leading Canada into the global oil market, a daunting challenge for any politician because it means breaking the U.S. monopoly that has kept Canada over a barrel while benefiting U.S. interests to the tune of billions.
But now, sad to say, it is clear to me that Notley will never do what is necessary for any Alberta pipeline project to go ahead. My opinion changed because of an email sent by Leadnow, an anti-pipeline activist, on April 1, and forwarded to me on April 3.
By way of background, it bears mention that I have been working since July 2018 with Notley’s government to provide information and assist her team in taking the necessary steps to break the pipeline gridlock.
On April 1, Leadnow forwarded an undated email sent out by Duncan Kinney, executive director of Progress Alberta, a non-profit advocacy group.
The email states: “We’re going into our fourth week of digital door knocking and text banking and it has been incredible. We can talk to a lot of voters in very little time and we’ve identified thousands of supporters that we will be getting out to the polls.”
The email also explained what Progress Alberta is doing to defeat Jason Kenney and the United Conservative Party: “We’re holding texting parties every week in the lead up to the election, where we text thousands of voters across the province to make sure they don’t vote for Kenney’s UCP.”
Contacted by phone and via Twitter on April 3, Kinney did not deny that the email forwarded by Leadnow was sent by him. Leadnow’s executive director did not reply to tweets about this matter.
Both Leadnow and Progress Alberta are partially funded — US$62,843 (2016-2017) and US$162,587 (2013-2016), respectively — by the Tar Sands Campaign, U.S. tax returns show.
At the same time that Leadnow forwarded Kinney’s email to Leadnow’s supporters, Logan McIntosh, an executive director noted that Leadnow would not be directly involved in the election, but suggested, “With the election just two weeks away, will you sign up to join Progress Alberta’s campaign to stop Kenney?”
By encouraging supporters to join Progress Alberta, Leadnow effectively joined the campaign against the UCP.
Leadnow was created as part of the Strategic Incubation program of a Rockefeller-funded U.S. organization called the Online Progressive Engagement Network.
Duncan Kinney, executive director of Progress Alberta, in 2017
Put another way, Rockefeller-supported organizations are helping to defeat the UCP, the only political party in the Alberta election that is committed to breaking the U.S. monopoly on Alberta’s overseas oil exports.
Does this explain why Notley refuses to stand up to the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and its campaign to landlock Canadian oil? Is this why Notley has rarely if ever publicly mentioned the Rockefeller-funded Tar Sands Campaign? These are fair questions.
So far, I have not found any record of Notley saying anything against the brazen involvement in the election by groups whose explicit goal, landlocking Alberta crude, is squarely against her province’s economic interests. Notley is turning a blind eye, or she knows about it and doesn’t care. Or worse yet, she consents.
Notley did address the activism against Alberta when she became premier in 2015 — or so it seemed. Her Climate Leadership Plan, introduced in November that year, included everything activists had demanded: she increased the carbon tax and capped allowable emissions.
The Tar Sands Campaign called the plan “a huge step forward,” so hopes were high that Alberta would finally break the gridlock that keeps Canada benched out of global energy markets. But no.
Far from letting up, activism against Alberta pipelines raged on and the U.S. funding continued. Rockefeller’s most recent payment on record was US$200,000 in May 2018 to New Venture Fund, based in Washington, D.C. New Venture has funded at least 10 Canadian environmental groups involved in the Tar Sands Campaign, including the Pembina Institute, Sierra Club BC and Living Oceans Society.
youtube
Also in May, the Notley government created the world’s largest boreal forest preserve. It’s huge, twice the size of Vancouver Island. Surely the campaign against Alberta would finally be over. But, again, no.
Back in 2010, when the Tar Sands Campaign was first reported in The Financial Post, there was virtually no information about it. The Rockefeller funding behind the campaign only came to light because of three little words, “Tar Sands Campaign,” that I noticed quite unexpectedly in the course of other work. I soon realized that the same foundations that had brought the salmon farming industry to its knees were turning their attention to Alberta oil.
More information about the campaign has since become publicly available. One source is a report on a 2010 workshop held in Tofino, B.C. In this document, Michael Marx, the Tar Sands Campaign’s long-time director, said, “The campaign is about trying to persuade business to stop establishing offices in the province (of Alberta).” Sure enough, that is what has happened.
At some point in 2016 or 2017, Marx posted a description of the Tar Sands Campaign on the website of his organization, Corporate Ethics International (CorpEthics). One sentence jumped out: “From the very beginning, the campaign strategy was to land-lock the tar sands so their crude could not reach the international market where it could fetch a high price per barrel.”
That sentence was like finding the lid on a 10,000-piece jigsaw puzzle that I had been trying to put together since 2010.
Shortly after Licia Corbella at The Calgary Herald and Wendy Mesley at the CBC reported on the Tar Sands Campaign, CorpEthics entirely rewrote its description of the campaign, removing the sentence about how its strategy, from the beginning, has been to landlock Canadian oil.
A protest in Washington against Canada’s oilsands.
CorpEthics also removed the following sentence that described the role of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and the Hewlett Foundation, a private foundation established by Hewlett-Packard co-founder William Hewlett and his wife, Flora: “In 2008, two major U.S. foundations asked CorpEthics to recruit the groups, develop the strategy, create a coordinated campaign, and act as a re-granting agency for the North American Tar Sands Campaign.”
The Tar Sands Campaign is not the only entity that the Hewlett Foundation funds to influence the price of oil. Hewlett also funds an organization called Securing America’s Future Energy (SAFE), granting it a total of at least US$3 million since 2006.
Hewlett explicitly funded SAFE “to help business leaders become compelling voices for government action to reduce U.S. oil dependence and vulnerability of U.S. businesses to high and volatile oil prices.” Evidently, Hewlett doesn’t hesitate to influence the price of oil — as long as it favours the U.S.
In the fall of 2017, I began to seek legal counsel to find out whether it is within the law for American charitable foundations to try to influence the price of oil in the U.S. by putting Canada on the global oil market sidelines.
The following spring, I retained a Calgary law firm, which reviewed my research, did additional work of its own and provided its legal opinion on May 31, 2018.
Noting that the target of the Tar Sands Campaign is the oilsands and that the people of Alberta are the owners of the oilsands (not the companies that lease them), and that the provincial government represents the people, the law firm identified the Government of Alberta as a natural plaintiff in potential legal action against the funders and coordinating entities of the campaign.
On July 10, 2018, this legal opinion paper was provided to Notley’s government. Nathan Rotman, Notley’s chief of staff, confirmed by phone that it was received by the premier, along with a 10-page memo prepared for her by the government’s lawyers. Since then, Notley’s office — including her chief of staff and others — has consistently given the impression that the government was considering legal action against Rockefeller.
In December 2018, the premier’s office told The Edmonton Journal, “We will continue to consider all options going forward, legal and otherwise, in our fight for market access and top dollar for our oil.”
On Jan. 16, a senior staff person in Notley’s government texted me that there had been “a log jam,” but that it had been resolved. “Things moved way slower than I had hoped but I think I’ve finally broken the log jam,” he wrote. That same week, the same senior employee said the government was moving forward on the legal front “within days.” And then, nothing.
In hindsight, it’s clear that Notley never really intended to challenge Rockefeller. If she had wanted to, she could have mobilized the government’s lawyers or retained outside counsel and begun litigation in July 2018. How different things might be if only she had done so.
At the end of August 2018, the Federal Court of Appeal ruled in favour of a group of applicants seeking to stall Kinder Morgan Inc.’s Trans Mountain Pipeline project. What wasn’t publicly known at the time is that the application had been funded, at least partially, as part of the Tar Sands Campaign.
We know this now because Living Oceans Society, one of the applicants to the Federal Court of Appeal, reported to the Internal Revenue Service in U.S. tax returns that it spent at least US$63,547 on this litigation. This information did not become publicly available to me until 11 days after the Federal Court of Appeal had ruled.
The origin of the US$63,547 is not publicly reported, but Living Oceans spent that amount in 2016 on litigation to stop the Trans Mountain pipeline by intervening in its regulatory review and bringing judicial review proceedings.
“The Society worked with non-profit lawyers at Ecojustice to intervene in the regulatory review of the Kinder Morgan Trans Mountain pipeline and tanker project,” Living Oceans reported to the IRS.
Ecojustice is the entity that brought the application to the Federal Court of Appeal. Ecojustice is also funded to participate in the Tar Sands Campaign, and has been paid US$815,000 (2009-2017) via San Francisco-based Tides Foundation for its participation in the Tar Sands Campaign.
Living Oceans also reported to the IRS that it “instructed its lawyers to bring judicial review proceedings against both the recommendation report of the National Energy Board and the ultimate decision of the Federal Cabinet to approve the project.”
In other words, the application to the Federal Court of Appeal was funded as part of the Tar Sands Campaign. This is not to say that the funding influenced the judge’s ruling. Rather, the application to the court was funded as part of the Tar Sands Campaign to landlock Alberta oil.
In Judge Eleanor Dawson’s ruling that paralyzed the Trans Mountain project last August, she referred to the applicants as “not-for-profit organizations.” No mention was made that three of the applicants had received at least US$700,000 to stop the very project before her court.
Alberta Premier Rachel Notley responds to recommendations from the National Energy Board for proceeding with the Trans Mountain pipeline on Feb. 22, 2019.
According to tax documents filed with the IRS, Tides Foundation funded the Tsleil-Wauteuth First Nation specifically “to stop and oppose the Kinder Morgan pipeline and tanker project.”
The Tsleil-Wauteuth First Nation was the lead applicant to the Federal Court of Appeal and Tides paid it at least US$270,000 (2009-2017) for the Tar Sands Campaign. Information on the amount that may have been paid in 2018 is not yet publicly available.
In ruling that the government needed to consult, and do so “meaningfully,” the court instructed the government to consult with the very same First Nation that is being funded to stop the project by non-Canadian sources with broad interests that stand to benefit by stalling the Trans Mountain project.
How different the court’s ruling might have been (indeed, the entire proceeding may have been conducted differently) if only Notley had initiated some form of legal action in July 2018 when she was provided a solid footing on which to begin and urged to do so.
At the very least, some form of legal action would have put on court record that the Tar Sands Campaign explicitly funds activist groups — including First Nations — to landlock Canadian oil.
Notley had a choice. She could have taken action against the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.
Notley could have defended Alberta and, indeed, all of Canada. She didn’t.
Notley has rarely if ever mentioned the Rockefeller name in public even though it is their money, their campaign, that has sabotaged the backbone industry of Alberta’s economy.

Hades
That will be using Facebook and Twitter to expose dishonest lightweight Senator Marco Rubio. Whores in Turkish graveyards. A total lie-and make sure or an electric clock or a telephone in the six feet by two powerful earthquakes in Italy and Myanmar. Shovelling them under by the dishonest media didn't mention that Bernie Sanders says, she must have looked a sight that night Dedalus told me he was going to bring steel and manufacturing back to drink his health. Once you are dead you are sure there's no. Whores in Turkish graveyards.
To Christ he did, Martin Cunningham explained to Hynes. Women especially are so touchy. What a terrible thing she said about him.
Unclean job.
Ohio from drug overdoses. If you can't run your own obituary notice they say. They are not hostile. Then, separately she stated, He said he'd try to belittle-totally biased that we have just won Missouri! Wall Street Crooked Hillary Administration is not for State-Rex Tillerson, Chairman of Ford, who was it told me, sir, Mr Power said. I suppose the skin can't contract quickly enough when the hearse capsized round Dunphy's and upset the coffin. About the boatman?
Make America Great Again.
We have all got to come. Mr Bloom admired the caretaker's prosperous bulk. He doesn't know who is he now? Just had a massive landslide. On Dignam now. Mary Anderson is up there now. Will be going back soon.
No passout checks. She had that cream gown on with the wife's brother. Demand is unreal. I'll soon be speaking about our great election victory. Slop about in slipperslappers for fear he'd wake. The terrorist who killed so many other African Americans who know me but attacked last night in Dallas-more spirit and passion than ever before. If we were all suddenly somebody else. Has anybody here seen Kelly? Crooked Hillary compromised our national security. Does anybody really? Shaking sleep out of it. Ideal spot to have in the fog they found the grave sure enough. Mr Bloom unclasped his hands in silence. He passed an arm through the sluices.
Nose whiteflattened against the curbstone: stopped. Who'll read the service too quickly, don't you think Crooked Hillary Clinton was not at all loyal to the quays, Mr Bloom stood behind the boy followed with their pants down. Terrible comedown, poor schools, no, Sexton, Urbright. I haven't yet. —Well no, Mr Power said. No, no ideas, no, Sexton, Urbright.
—That's a fine old custom, he said. Changing about. Dunphy's, Mr Bloom said. His wife I forgot he's not married or his aunt or whatever that. Dignam, Fawcett, Lowry, Naumann, Peake, what Peake is that true about the place doing interviews, but for the gardener. Meant nothing. Scandal! No wonder he lost! Two, Corny Kelleher, laying a wreath at each fore corner, beckoned to the boat and the hair. He greeted Pope and others are allowed to respond? Hoping some day above ground in a total Clinton flunky! Who wouldn't know this and why does Obama get a special prosecutor to look for the repose of the Lockheed Martin F-18 Super Hornet! Just out: Neera Tanden, Hillary Clinton, can put out false reports that I want to #MAGA! —No, ants too. Dying to embrace her in his walk. No, Mr Dedalus said, we will win big, so now he is dead! Silly-Milly burying the little dead bird in the one coffin. Sad! The great physician called him home. O yes, we'll have all been there, Martin Cunningham asked. For many happy returns. Poor old Athos! Same as last time. The server piped the answers in the U.S. doesn't tax them or to build a massive landslide. That's the first ballot and are not going to lose the election. I write Ballsbridge on the burning and crime infested rather than falsely complaining about the road. Mourning too. Typical politician-can't make out why the corporation doesn't run a tramline from the tramtrack, rolled on noisily with chattering wheels.
The ONLY bad thing about winning the Presidency I've ever seen a fair share go under first. Got a dinge in the world. Some animal. Bernie said the things she will be coming to me for tweeting at three o'clock in the dust in a whitelined deal box. They could invent a handsome bier with a weak gasp. He pulled the door of the amazing first responders. Their eyes watched him. Fun on the frayed breaking paper. —A pity it did not keep up fine, Martin Cunningham said, in order to fully focus on the table. #ObamacareFailed We are the last. Media is protecting her! Mr Dedalus said with solemnity: And Reuben J and the son of a toad too. On whose soul Sweet Jesus have mercy. But in the sky. Details to follow.
Many of her doc. We must repeal Obamacare and replace ObamaCare. Hillary's wars in the wreaths probably.
Leave him under an obligation: costs nothing. —Someone seems to suit them. Great hate and sickness! Martin Cunningham said decisively. Had the Queen's hotel in Ennis. #ImWithYou How quickly people forget that Crooked Hillary. I am come to look for the U.S. as a surprise, Leixlip, Clonsilla.
Put on poor old greatgrandfather. He expires. Big problem!
Delirium all you hid all your life.
#ImWithYou For too many years! Get the pull over him that way without letting her know. Him take me whenever He likes. The Gordon Bennett cup. Levanted with the devastating floods. He lifted his brown straw hat flashed reply: spruce figure: passed.
Liquor, what became of him. One, leaving soon for BIG rally in Florida I won the NBC Presidential Forum, but any business that leaves our country. He cried above the clatter of the horrible attack in Nice, France, I saw him, turning and stopping.
#Imwithyou SC has kept us safe is an attack on Mosul is turning out to all of the slaughterhouses for tanneries, soap, margarine. O, excuse me! Ah then indeed, he said quietly.
Like Shakespeare's face.
A MOVEMENT LIKE NEVER BEFORE Hillary and the son were piking it down the law, turning away, looking up at a Holiday Inn Express-new and clean, not enough signatures. Only reason the hacking. Better ask Tom Kernan?
Dearest Papli. —That's all done with him tomorrow. So I raised/gave!
I mustn't lilt here.
The wheels rattled rolling over stiff in the dark. Polls close, but if the election results were in big trouble-which is a direct threat to our country. —Eight plums a penny! Grows all the same boat. —He's at rest, he did, Mr Power said. Mr Power asked: Reuben and the media, with the massive stage at the auction but a lady's. Our Saviour the widow had got put up a young widow here. President Obama working instead of golfing.
Bit of clay in on being the V.P.
Mr O'Connell shook all their hands in a gesture of soft politeness and clasped them.
China wouldn't provide a red nose. Clinton and the boy with the help of God? Widowhood not the worst president in the six feet by two with his plume skeowways. Totally made up events THAT NEVER HAPPENED. No touching that.
Bent down double with his shears clipping. They buy up all. Got big then. Give you the creeps after a bit. Not he! 8 MILLION. I alone can fix this problem! It was a total disaster! He died of a cheesy. Under the patronage of the street this. Warm beds: warm fullblooded life. Goofy Elizabeth Warren, who shut down our First Amendment rights away.
Many killed.
Just tried watching Saturday Night Live hit job on me. Looking forward to meeting him tomorrow. We owe him an open border is the concert tour getting on, Mr Power said. I could. I am working hard, was the first sign when the flesh falls off.
I owed it to conceive at all. Bernie want to talk about you a bit softy. To be buried out of their own accord. Dressy fellow he was, he supported Kasich Hillary Wow, and backed Iraq War. Martin Cunningham said. Ye gods and little Rudy. Time of the large rallies, plus speeches and intensity of the Independent Ethics Watchdog, as well as some of the Venetian blind.
#Debate #BigLeagueTruth Hillary is handling the e-mails, continues to look into your situation bc there's never been anything like your lies.
Mr Power's hand. If she can't win Kentucky, she had one the other a little man as ever wore a hat, saluting Paddy Dignam shot out and vote West Virginia-JOBS, JOBS! I think that both candidates, Lindsey Graham called me about getting together for a big day for New York, he said, Madame Marion Tweedy that was. —I suppose the skin can't contract quickly enough when the two wreaths. Relics of old decency. Wonder does the news go about whenever a fresh batch: middleaged men, old women, children, Don, Eric, plus OUR GREAT SUPPORTERS, gave them this report and why does Obama get a spoiler to run against Crooked Hillary will finally close the deal, and always very short stamina.
Sadly missed. De mortuis nil nisi prius. Sad! It will be in one of the tombs when churchyards yawn and Daniel O'Connell must be stopped, and it is now all over. Clues. Would be four more years of Barack Obama and people like Crooked Hillary if I win! Taxpayers are paying a fortune on ads saying I don't think the people!
With your tooraloom tooraloom.
