anyways, constantly thinking about my headcanon that minato was the only person who took the time to educate kakashi on how to safely bind. most people didn't disrespect kakashi's expression of self/gender ( some people push back later in life; but it's nothing he can't handle ) but no one took the time to educate him either. except for minato, of course. i think minato helps kakashi look into certain resources for trans men as well. i think he had to largely educate himself in the process though? but it was worth it for kakashi not to have to go through it alone.

Change Of Plans
Au: Mafia Au
Words: 1156
Pairing: Hatake Kakashi/ Anko
Summary: The jobs was to get into Onoki's party and make sure that Anko was safe while she was wooing her way into the targets bed. The problem? She's not the targets type.
Seduction missions aren’t Kakashi’s usual job, but Shikaku had wanted his best watching over Anko when she went into such a dangerous situation. Someone who was nearby and capable of handling an extremely dangerous situation just in case. After all, if something went terribly wrong when she was stuck in a building that was littered with Iwagakure gang members, Anko would be screwed.
Not that she couldn’t handle herself. Deadly and ruthless were the best words that Kakashi could think of to describe Anko. Though, her deadliness fit more with poisons and silent murders, rather than face-to-face confrontations.
When it came to facing the enemy down and making it out alive, that was Kakashi’s area of expertise.
So here he was. Standing in a room full of people who would kill him if they even caught a hint of who he was, watching as Anko slid up to her target’s side and started to flirt. Working her way into his good graces in hopes of getting him alone.
People always talked more when there weren’t prying ears listening in to private conversations
What he expected to witness was a successful wooing session that would result in Anko being led away to ‘private quarters’. Which would be his cue to sneak his way into the hallway and follow them to wherever it was they were going.
Make sure he was close by to help out, in case anything went wrong.
So when he instead sees Anko slinking away from her target, an annoyed look on her face, he knows that something’s wrong. Perhaps the target already had someone in mind, or he was too busy trying to chat up the people around him to pay Anko any attention.
Whatever it was, he knew he’d have the answer as soon as she pulled her phone out of her pocket and started typing. Most likely sending him a detailed description of-
His phone vibrated in his pocket.
Frowning, he dug it out and clicked the button on the side to see the message that Anko had sent him.
Not his type.
What was that supposed to mean? Anko was drop-dead gorgeous, with a voice that could make a person melt. How could anyone look at her and not be interested?
Unless…
Frowning, he opened the message and waited for his screen to spring to life. Allowing him to type out one simple word to confirm his suspicions.
Gay?
It’s only a few seconds before her answer rolls in, and his suspicions are confirmed with a simple rainbow flag emoji. There was someone slacking in Shikaku’s ranks, and Kakashi didn’t appreciate it. If they had done their research they could have sent in someone capable of doing the job from the start instead of wasting Anko’s time like this.
Now they were crunched to find a new solution. The next opening wouldn’t be for a month at least, and that was if they were lucky. Even if another party like this was held, there was no guarantee that they could get someone in again.
Onoki was particular about who he invited to his party, and it was part luck and part determination that had secured Kakashi and Anko a spot. It would be damn near impossible to get another invite unless they made one hell of an impression.
He needed to think fast. Shikaku wouldn’t be pleased if they came back empty-handed, even if it wasn’t technically their fault. He’d expect Kakashi to figure out a new plan on the spot. That was his specialty.
Feeling his phone vibrating in his hand, he glanced down to see what new message awaited him. What he had expected to see was something along the lines of Anko telling him that she was going to try another approach. That perhaps she had her eyes on someone else that might have information or at least an idea that would help him formulate a new plan.
Instead, he was greeted with the worst news she could have possibly sent him.
He keeps staring at you. Maybe the solution to our problem is easier than that pretty face of yours is making it seem.
He hated when she flirted with him while trying to convince him to do something he really didn’t want to. Seduction was not his area of expertise, and he had no interest in giving it a shot with no prior preparation or even the barest hint of what to talk about.
He was terrible when it came to talking to people. She knew that. Not that he couldn’t do it, but he needed time to prepare. Knowledge about the person he was talking about.
This wasn’t him picking on Tenzo by smooth-talking his way into a free lunch. If he screwed this up he was going to have to fight his way out of a building full of rival gang members.
Not impossible, but not preferable either.
Seeing another message pop up on the screen, he narrowed his eyes.
Quit having a panic attack and go flirt with the man. If you could convince me to crawl into bed with you, you can do it with him.
Somehow that didn’t feel like the compliment she probably intended it to be. They didn’t have time to discuss it though.
Pocketing his phone, he relaxed against the table and took a moment to examine the room around him. Reminding himself of the number of armed Iwagakure CBD gang members and each of their stations in the room.
If he so happened to lock eyes with the target while doing one last assessment of the place, that was merely a coincidence. One he took full advantage of when he noticed that Anko had not been lying to him. The man was eyeing him, and he wasn’t even trying to hide it at all.
Clearly, Anko wasn’t joking whenever she called him a ‘snack for the eyes’.
“Fine,” pushing himself away from the table he pocketed his hands and headed towards a small group off in the distance. His hope was that the target would see his movements and decide to cut him off, rather than forcing him to make his way over to where he was for what was no doubt going to be the worst flirt session ever.
Hopefully, Anko would have a nice present waiting for him when this was all said and done. There were a few things that he could think of that would make such an unpleasant turn of events a little more bearable, and as he watched his target dismissing himself from his current conversation and heading straight for him he couldn’t help but let his mind wander.
A few enjoyable thoughts about Anko and those delicious lips he loved so much were bound to get him through whatever he was about to endure for the sake of taking Onoki and his little territory stealing gang down a peg.

Rogue Kakashi AU / @depressedkakashihatake
___
Kakashi is baffled by Gai decision to leave with him. And even if time with Tenzo and Naruto were good he realise he missed Gai presence and their ability to be absolute fool when they are together, more than anything.
He is also baffled by Gai faith in him even after so many years.
Despite the reputation Kakashi has in the village, Gai never doubted there was more to Kakashi’s decision than what he is told. People bashed Kakashi but Gai never spoked bad of him. If anybody in the village met with Kakashi on a mission or heard about him you could be sure Gai would be there to ask you detail.
Gai didn’t care about being mocked for holding onto Kakashi so bad and still seeing good things in him. Gai don’t care and after some time he don’t argue anymore, people can shit talk Kakashi all they want, he won’t, and he won’t lose time trying to convince anyone that there’s more to it. he doesn’t know what and any investigation he does on the matter is frutless because Danzo erased the trail to the truth, but he knows there is.
He never lose hope, he never stop caring.
Somehow he never meet Kakashi during mission, the one time he did, was when he was ordered to hunt for Kakashi specifically. after over seventh weeks they had finally came to a confrontation. Kakashi was alone and Gai’s team managed to take him out. but before they could even consider to bring him back to Konoha Gai took out his team members from behind (making it pass later as if Kakashi had reinforcement) and left with Kakashi, taking care of his injury (nothing serious they probably pushed him to chakra exhaustion) until he wakes up.
There he asks, with no animosity in his voice, why he left. Kakashi doesn’t answer. No matter what Gai says, he doesn’t says anything. What is the point Kakashi think he will be tortured until he spill it out or they will take anything they want from him from his head anyway. Though he find weird that not only are they alone together (where is Gai’s team ?) he is not tied/restrained in anyway, hell Gai is actually caring for him like he would any fallen teammates. it’s weird and he can’t make sense of all the inconsistency.
Tenzo and Naruto come to the rescue and Kakashi take the opportunity to flee, but Gai doesn’t fight back, and as they leave Kakashi looks back to see Gai watching him. it’s a neutral expression with hidden hope and disapointement. Kakashi understand Gai won’t pursue them anymore.
Gai know he failed to gain Kakashi’s trust. And he knows it’s pointless to follow them and continue this ‘hunt’, he just wanted to talk and Kakashi doesn’t want to. it was good to see him thought, at least he seems healthy.
Kakashi is surprised Gai doesn’t follow them or fight them, even if the three of them overpower him Gai could still cause them some trouble. He realise Gai never had the intention to bring him to the village, he was sincere in his curiousity.
Gai join back his team and declare the failure of their mission. lying to cover his own action.
this event stay in Kakashi’s mind, a lot more than he admit Tenzo or Naruto.
__
It takes time for them to recover the familiarity they had, even after the years it’s still feel a bit like they never really meet, but they have a lot of catch up to do and they are not too used to each other in combat, but they both have good instinct and make it work nonetheless with a bit of trial and error.
Also both of them discovering each other skills and strenght, wait till Gai show them hirudora x)
Naruto is very happy for team 10 to join. Gai quickly become his third dad and he loves training with him and team 10.
Neji, out of oppression, is blooming in a whole new way, though if they encounter Huyga from the main branch Neji is out due to the power they can have on him. One of their goal now is to find a way to release the cursed seal
___
Even if Gai wish he could have followed Kakashi on day one, he knows he would have never met Tenten, Lee and Neji if he had. He grieve for the years he didn’t pass by Kakashi’s side, but also don’t regret that it happenned that way because he was able to meet Neji, Lee and Tenten and he is forever grateful for that !
