I open the naruto tag and see a really cute comic about someone colliding into naruto and him accidentally kissing sasuke, being very naruto and sasuke about it but then reaching out their hands again and kissing again. It's cute. I try to insert different characters into the design of the person colliding into naruto. it could be kiba or maybe that guy who collided into naruto the first time he accidentally kissed sasuke at the academy. i think maybe people in the comments have better ideas than me and open the notes. First one reads 'I did not cheat on my wife, someone collided into me and i accidentally kissed this man'. I remember why I am not in the great yaoi fandom of naruto.
#i think saddest part is i was so happy to see that victims of yaoi poll#and all of sakura's propaganda was about how sasuke is gay and she is a lesbian and why are people even threatened by her presence around#sasuke and shitting on her. and it's like that's just another facet of victims of yaoi!!! just saying she is a lesbian anyway is not the#'be normal about women' idea that you think it is#i'm so tired of this. this is why you only get fanart and 'funny lmao' posts on this blog now#naruto#naruto women i'm so sorry#why are you assuming that they are cheating on their wives or that they have wives if they like each other like ffs if you dont like#something in canon ending just fucking disregard it why twist it into disgusting things showcasing your misogyny#the idea that sasuke would marry sakura if he doesn't like her is SO BIZARRE to me. have you met sasuke?#do you really think he would do something out of pity or for social image or pressure or anything? you can NOT make sasuke do anything he#doesn't want to and it's not like they got married really early like right after the war? there was A LOT of time for BOTH of them to#consider their feelings for each other AND for other people#so i'm equally okay with sasuke doing his travels and arriving at the conclusion that he like sakura or naruto and wants to marry them#but what we would never do is marry someone and then cheat because he loves someone else#i personally don't even think that there's a possibility of sasuke and sakura getting married and realising much later that they dont like#each other as partners like they already have time to figure that out. i think it's canon they do spend a lot of time together travelling#and such before having sarada. oh i am not even going to talk about people saying sasuke is with sakura only because of sarada or something#the only other valid way of looking at it is that beautiful post about sakura sasuke and karin travelling together because that's just so#fucking good

n25 and sakura: secret distance event analysis
I read the Secret Distance event a while back and it’s been stuck in my head ever since, so I wanted to take a deeper look into the scene in chapter 6 where the members of Nightcord at 25:00 discover the sakura tree. Specifically, I wanted to analyze their individual reactions to the falling blossoms and the way these reactions all reflect larger themes in each of their own stories. Spoilers for the Secret Distance event below cut, as well as discussions of suicidal ideation:
mizuki
Mizuki’s reaction is the easiest to decipher, since this event is mainly focused on them. From the flashbacks to their past, we can see that Mizuki associates sakura with the experience of being an outsider and watching everyone else admire the flowers with their friends. Because they thought this was something they could never experience, they didn’t see the sakura as pretty, even though the flowers perfectly fit the cute pink aesthetic that Mizuki loves. In the present, Mizuki is watching the sakura with the other members of N25 and realizes the flowers look beautiful because they’re together with people who genuinely care about them. Another factor might be that Mizuki has grown into the cute feminine aesthetic much more since middle school and has used it to develop an identity of their own, allowing them to appreciate the flowers that fit their own aesthetic.
kanade
I get the feeling that Kanade hasn’t seen anything other than music as beautiful in a long time, especially anything commonplace. It’s been shown that she rarely goes outside and has little interest in tasks like eating or sleeping as they take time away from music. In the previous event, Singing Among the Cherry Blossoms, she sees Ichika, Kohane, and Minori singing together under the sakura trees in the park but makes no particular note of the flowers, only saying the trio’s music is nice (Chapter 8: Meeting As They Bloom). However, here with N25, ordinary sakura become so beautiful for Kanade that she is confused by her own reaction.
mafuyu
Mafuyu is envious that the sakura petals look beautiful as they die. This event does a good job of highlighting Mafuyu’s passive suicidal ideation and shows that although she has made the decision to live on and continuee making music with N25, she still considers death to be the easiest escape from everything she’s going through. In chapter 5: The Last Haunted Place, Mafuyu expresses empathy with the prodigy music student who died under the pressure of everybody’s expectations.
However, Mafuyu also knows that if she were to ever disappear, her parents and peers would all be disappointed in her. She’s envious of the sakura and how they are admired by everyone as they fall, seen as beautiful in their final moments, because it is something she will never have.
ena
Ena is envious that the sakura are admired for their inherent qualities while she struggles every day to receive attention. For Ena, beauty is a tool she uses to get validation from others. She constantly tries to create beauty through her social media posts and to some extent her art. The idea that something could be beautiful in its natural state, without even trying, is unfair to her, especially the fact that it is admired by everyone. (Side note: I am begging Sega for a MafuEna cover of Jealousy by *Luna).
TLDR: no one in this damn group is capable of looking at sakura normally.
Okay, that’s all !! I have a million thoughts about this event but I wanted to analyze this moment in particular.

would you like to stay forever?
SUMMARY⎮ Sparring with Pro Hero Kirishima Eijiro in his private gym at his home doesn't seem like a bad idea if you don't count the fact that you really, really like him.
STATS⎮ minors do not interact, 18+ ⎮ Rating: M (for mature) ⎮ WC: 5525 ⎮ Pairing: Pro Hero Kirishima Eijiro x Fem!Reader ⎮ Tags: Aged Up Character(s), Friends to Lovers, Sparring, Smut, Fluff, Age/Experience Gap (if you really squint) ⎮ AO3
NOTES⎮ Thanks to @spacelabrathor for listening to me scream about this and to @some-kindofgnome for fueling my Kiri fever dreams. Yes, that title is based on a Mulan quote. This whole fic was based on THIS POST and Kirishima seemed like the perfect character for this pwp. Hope y'all enjoy! (Also please for the love of God, click on the banner to see in HD if you’re on mobile, it looks so much better lol)
It was Saturday and even though you’re on your way to becoming a Pro Hero, you can think of several things you’d rather be doing with your one day off than going to Kirishima Eijiro’s house to spar. But here you are pulling into his driveway, going over combat moves in your head as if your life depended on it. They weren’t really serving their purpose which was to distract yourself. Kiri had offered up his personal gym, encouraged you to stop by with one hand in his pocket and the other rubbing the back of his neck as if he was nervous.
A couple of his friends had already taken him up on the offer. You were the only one he’d offered who hadn’t come over yet. He had texted you a couple of weeks later saying he was starting to take it personally… and then immediately texted with a laughing emoji just to clarify he was only giving you a hard time. It brings a smile to your face now as you remember it. Yesterday he had also clarified it would just be the two of you if you were self-conscious sparring in front of other people. You’d have the whole place to yourselves. Like that should mean something. Which it did. It does , you realize with butterflies growing in your stomach. Kiri doesn’t need to know that though.
The two of you had been toeing around something since you had been hired at Fatgum’s Agency a year ago. Neither of you had made a move. Kirishima, the Red Riot, was a big Pro Hero and while you took pride in your quirk, it didn’t hold a coin to some of the others you’d come in contact with. It had surprised you when Toyomitsu had brought you on. But he had mumbled something about “liking your spunk” and that he thought a teleportation quirk would be a useful one to add to his agency. The first day you had shown up, Kiri had immediately caught your eye. Not for the obvious reasons. Obvious reasons being the fact that he was climbing the Pro Hero charts or the fact that he had a dynamically interesting quirk or that at twenty-five he was already built like a brickhouse.
Those were all valid reasons, yes, but what had pulled you in was his smile and his genuine interest in you outside of your quirk. But he was just like that you had quickly discovered. He knew everyone’s coffee order and what they liked for lunch. He knew when to push and when to back off. He knew when to talk and when to listen , knew when he still had a lesson to learn. The kids flocked to him. Even now you’re still entirely convinced that’s actually his quirk, getting people to like him. It’s not a difficult thing to do though.
Your brain stutters back to the present when a text notification pings from your cell phone as you sit in Kiri’s driveway, picking at non-existent lint on your gym shorts. The cute ones you’re still convincing yourself were your only clean pair and that’s the only reason you wore them.
KIRI : i saw u pull up, u gonna come in or what 😂
Had he been waiting for you to get there? You tapped out a quick response, one that hid the little flip in your stomach at the thought: creeper, you were watching for me lmao
Response bubbles immediately flash on your phone screen but you’re angling out of your car and shutting the door before he can reply.
Somehow, this house fits Kiri perfectly. It isn’t big. You had seen pictures of other top-ranking Pros’ houses. Enji Todoroki’s house, for example, was fucking ridiculous. But even without a massive floor plan, Kiri’s house is nicer than any you’d been in for some time. Clean, straight lines and lots of windows. In fact, you can see straight through the floor-to-ceiling windows out to his backyard when you reach the front door. Is that a pool ? Kiri had tons of fun showing pictures at the agency; it was a well-deserved investment for his already multiple years of service as a Pro. The pictures hadn’t done the place justice though.
Kiri comes to the door, throwing it wide open with a huge grin that shows off his sharp teeth. You ignore the way your mouth goes dry as he drags you in, babbling on like an excited little kid at you actually coming.
“I really thought you were gonna back out! I mean, that would have been fine, of course. I just can’t see the point of having the whole place to myself all the time.” He’s irresistibly cute, walking around showing you the living room and the kitchen and pointing out to the backyard where, yes, there is indeed a pool. “You can come over any time and use that too if you want!” You thank him, warmth pooling in your stomach at how incredibly nice he is.
“Uh, we should probably get in the gym. I have… stuff to do later,” you finish lamely. You don’t have anything to do later but very quickly you’re realizing how far out of your depth you are here. The familiar beginnings of the head over heels fall is washing over you in steady waves. But you’re coworkers and the thought of coming to work every day and having to see his adorable face and not doing anything about it is almost making you nauseous.
“Oh, yeah, it’s just down the hallway,” he rumbles, leading the way and you follow trying and failing miserably to calm the nerves flashing through your veins. You’re here alone with Kiri , the man you’ve been crushing on since you’d started working with him a year ago. And now your stupid brain isn’t just thinking about what it would feel like to run your tongue along his teeth or how his hands would feel between your legs. No, your stupid brain is thinking about what Kiri looks like when he first opens his eyes in the morning.
Your one-track mind is not getting any help, especially when Kiri walks through the doorway of the gym addition and immediately proceeds to pull his shirt up and over his shoulders and tosses it to the side. Shit. His back muscles ripple with the movement and when he turns to face you, it’s heart-wrenchingly obvious that he has no idea the effect he’s having on you. He has to know . Doesn’t he? From your end, it seems wildly obvious that someone as good-looking as him should know .
You glance around, eternally grateful for the fact that the gym is also attractive. Floor to ceiling windows span two of the walls here as well and there’s a large set of French doors leading out to the yard. You find yourself actually in awe when you get a better look at the landscaping. It’s so green . There’s a small patch of lawn but the rest is just artfully arranged native flora and fauna. Violets, tulips. Huge hosta plants. And cherry trees heavy with their signature sakura blossoms.
“Kiri, it’s beautiful!” He comes to stand beside you, looking out the French doors as well.
“You like it? I guess it is pretty nice, huh?” You glance up at him, your chest expanding on a lurch looking at his smile. You’d never noticed before but he has a light dusting of freckles across his nose.
“Yeah, really nice.” You look out again, letting the silence grow until it feels like the most comfortable thing in the world. After what seems like an eternity Kiri clears his throat, rocking back on the balls of his feet. “What are you thinking for today?” The question leaves your lips and you’re immediately regretting it; your stomach flips again when Kiri looks at you like you’re prey.
“Close combat, hand-to-hand combat. You did mention a while ago you wanted to strengthen that, right?” You throw your head back, rolling your eyes, and groan. The two of you make your way to the center of the mat.
“Yeah, I mean, I’d be scared to take me on too,” Kiri says, large hands on even larger hips. He isn’t as tall as some of the other heroes at six foot three inches but he’s wide , thick. You know for a fact you couldn’t wrap your arms around his waist and have your hands meet. He’s wearing the biggest shit-eating grin you’ve ever seen. The sharpened points of his canines are out and on prominent display. Famous last words you think as a snarl erupts on your face.
“I’m not scared , Kiri. I just don’t want to wear you out . You’re a Pro Hero. You’re on the job a lot more than I am. Plus, you’re getting kind of old. Is that a little gray I see coming in?” Kiri bares his teeth even more but it’s not lost on you that he quickly reaches up to rake his fingers through his hair. There isn’t any gray, obviously , but the thought has Red Riot distracted. Distracted enough that when you plant your feet and your fist connects with his face, your knuckles hit skin and not the reinforced rock of his quirk.
“ Shit.” Kiri takes a step back, reaching up to cradle his jaw. His tongue swipes out to lick at the blood on his bottom lip. His vermillion eyes find yours and if you didn’t work with him on a regular basis, you would have felt fear at this moment. You know he wouldn’t hurt you but even now, a thrill races through your veins like electricity. He looks as if he’s going to devour you. You take your own step back, readying your quirk, reaching out to it as your fists hold their position in front of your body. A dark chuckle spills from his chest as Kiri calls on his own quirk.
Now it was your turn to be distracted; you had always been fascinated by Kiri’s quirk, the way his body looked when it hardened up. The ripples of muscle still visible under the toughened skin. The divots and ridges and how they mapped their way across his shoulders and chest and abdomen. You knew how it felt to the touch in fake combat. The Fatgum heroes all took pride in maintaining a healthy routine; sparring was a common workout that was previously done at a local public gym. You wonder absently what it would feel like to touch him slow and at the moment. When you could give extra attention with extra time.
Kiri closes the space between the two of you at the moment your mind strays and you barely are able to teleport out of the way to avoid him crashing into you. You try to take a swipe at him as you materialize from in front of him to behind but this time he’s ready for you and he’s using his quirk. Instead of moving out of the way, he plants his feet and allows your punch to hit. Pain radiates up through your fingers and wrist. It always irritated you that you had to prepare yourself to strike Kiri when he was using his quirk. Otherwise, you’d be in for a whole lot of hurt every time you landed a punch.
Teleportation is a pretty handy quirk. It gives you a pretty good advantage the more you work on your close combat skills. The trick with Kiri was to keep going at him until he ran out of energy. You hadn’t gotten to that point yet; your quirk had its limits as well. You were only two years out of UA, Kiri was out by seven. His strength was already fairly unmatched; sparring with him was always good practice. You relish the thought of the day you can win a sparring session without tapping out. It surges through you like pure energy.
You teleport to stand in front of him again, shifting your weight into your hips and up through your right hook. This time your fist connects with Kiri’s side and he lets out a small grunt. Your fingers don’t hurt so bad this time and by the time Kiri is retaliating, you jump back a few feet. He hmms, a sound that reverberates from his chest.
“That’s all well and good but how do you expect to do anything if you jump that far away?” He lunges forward at a running start, leaping at the last second, sending his gloved fist into your stomach. You were fast, but still not always fast enough. You double over, the air rushing from your lungs and your pre-workout protein smoothie threatening to exit back the way it went in. Sweat is already beading on your brow and sliding under your tank top. You take a few breaths through your nose when an idea pops into your head; you stay bent over. “Hey, I didn’t hit you that hard. You good?”
Kiri comes to stand in front of you, leaving him vulnerable. He can’t see your smirk until it’s too late. You wail on him, using some of the basic combos he’s taught you before today. Satisfaction rolls through you when he actually takes a step back. But then he puts his arms up in front of him, clenching his abdomen and bending inward to protect his core. He drops just a fraction and before you realize what’s happening, he’s swiping his leg out to push through yours. You watch in slow motion as you see his laughing face then the ceiling of the gym as you flip and land on your back.
If you thought you were out of breath before… “Fuuu-.” It’s a wheeze that feels like it’s ripping your chest open. You’re seeing stars. Kiri stands over you, hands on his hips again. You stare at his face; the hero has his hair pulled back into a bun. You snort, rolling your eyes. Why does he still look so fucking good? The sweat has caused some of the pieces falling out of his hair tie to curl. His hair has curl to it? You’ve never noticed before, considering he always gels it into spikes. You like the curl. “Are you--are you gonna help me up, or what?” It was still painful to talk.
Kiri tilts his head to the side, just slightly, and crosses his arms. “I’m thinking not. Last time I let down my guard you got those good combos in.” You stare in stunned silence, sitting up so you’re supported by your elbows. Kiri shifts slightly and if you didn’t know better, you’d say he’s backing up to… get a better view.
“Is that any way to treat your student, Red Riot?” You know you get under his skin when he clicks his tongue against his teeth and holds out a hand with a begrudging eye roll. He pulls you up with ease, quickly enough that you almost lose your balance, swaying into his space. You look up, eyes moving back and forth between his.
He draws in a breath and drags his bottom lip between his teeth. “First of all,” he says as he places his hands on your upper arms, “I’m not your teacher. I’m not that much older than you. Secondly,” he mutters as he tucks a stray lock of hair behind your ear, “our relationship isn’t that formal is it?” He’s so fucking close. This is getting dangerous. Dangerous because Kiri is within kissing distance. Dangerous because this gentle side of him is making you lose more breath than falling on your ass. Dangerous because the thought of Kiri taking you on the floor right now is almost too much to bear.
So you fall back on what you’re here to do. Fight. You flash him a wicked smile before rallying your quirk and teleporting a few feet away. His hand is still raised in mid-air and when his head whips to look in your direction, his crimson eyes are narrowed and his nostrils are flared. He laughs and rolls his neck, dancing on his toes.
“Okay. I see. I’m not gonna go easy on you, you know?” You snort and put your fists up in front of you again.
“As if you were going easy on me before, Kiri. Bring it on.” He smiles, the sharp points of his teeth enough to make your thoughts swerve again before you bring them under control. “Bring it on,” you whisper more to yourself as you brace for the fight.
Two hours later, you feel the strain in your muscles. Your quirk is running low on reserves and you know you won’t be able to use it much more. Kiri looks like he hasn’t wasted a breath but you can see he’s getting tired in the way his feet don’t move as sharply. And if the length of time he’s using his quirk is any indication to his state of mind, you know the two of you will be calling it a day soon. But you’re also both stubborn. And you’re dying to get one more good move in on him.
The cockiness the two of you had at the beginning of the sparring session hasn’t gone away but has burned hot into determination. No more smiles, only clear-headed concentration. The two of you are an arm's length from each other, throwing various punches and switching quickly between using your quirks and not. You’re breathing hard, sweat gathering at your brow as you throw another right hook that Kiri easily blocks.
“Get out of your head. You can be too predictable sometimes.” He doesn’t mean for it to come across as rude but the words strike a match to a guttering fire. You bare your own teeth at Kiri even though they aren’t sharp and probably don’t look nearly as threatening but it helps you feel powerful nonetheless. You drop without a second thought, lowering to your palms and sweeping your leg out in front of you in a wide arc. A grin spreads across your face when your calf meets Kiri’s ankle. He’s too physically dense for this move to work if he had seen it coming. But he doesn’t. And his solid 220 pounds of muscle falls hard.
You allow yourself the satisfaction of the moment for only a split second; Kiri’s recovery time is much shorter than yours so it isn’t long before he’s scrambling forward. He goes straight for your wrists to subdue you but with a smirk, you realize in his haste he’s put himself in the perfect position for you to possibly gain the upper hand. You scoot up away from him just enough to drag his arm forward and swing your legs around his neck. Then you elevate your hips and lock your core.
It’s over from there as you squeeze with every last ounce of strength left in your body. It doesn’t take long for him to tap out. You release as soon as you feel his loose hand tap your arm; he collapses over you and you’re too tired to move away or push him off. Now his breathing is rough and you feel a surge of pride. You reach up and place your hand on his head where his bun has come undone; he’s so heavy but it doesn’t feel bad. In fact, the feel of Kirishima resting his head and upper chest on your stomach is feeling nothing short of good . He’s still between your legs and suddenly the air is crackling with a new kind of energy when you gently comb your fingers through his hair.
He rises up, his hands on either side of you. His hips rest between your legs; the mingled heat radiating from both of you is almost more than you can take but there is no way you’re going to move anywhere. He leans forward, so close you can see the flecks of burnt orange in his eyes. If you moved forward just a little, you could close that space between you. He leans down more, his mouth right next to the shell of your ear.
“Maybe not always predictable. You did good today. Probably some of the best fighting I’ve seen from you so far. Keep it up.” He grunts, a shift of his hips allowing the curve of his cock to brush against your clothed sex through his gym shorts. He stiffens in what you think might be embarrassment. “Shit, sorry, let me just, uh--” The stuttering mess he becomes right before your eyes makes something lurch in your chest; you reach for his face without thinking.
“Kiri,” you whisper, rolling your own hips against his. His cheeks are burning a shade of red almost as vibrant as his hair. You bring up your other hand, holding his face between them and bringing him down to settle over you once more. Your lips meet his; he seems to war with himself for just a moment. A suspended second in time. But then he gives in, slipping his tongue against yours in a delicious sliding vision of what’s coming.
He reaches between you to slip his hand under your tank top; his hand is big and nearly encompasses your side. But it’s warm and gentle. Gentle. Who would have guessed that Red Riot could be so fucking gentle? But he is and when his hand moves lower to slide below the hem of your shorts, you give yourself to him with no reservations. His middle finger passes through the mess of your sex; a hissed breath rattles through his chest as your back arches on a ragged groan.
“ Shit. You’re so wet .” He slides his finger back and forth, gathering your slick on the thick digit. He takes his hand away and you mewl. “Can I?” He asks breathlessly as he hooks his hands on the hem of your shorts. You nod, eyes half-lidded. He pulls them down along with your underwear and the way he looks at you, at what’s between your legs, you don’t even have the wherewithal to feel self-conscious. Adoration. It’s the only word you can think of and it makes you wonder if you’d made a mistake waiting so long.
He’s on his knees when he takes your legs and drapes them on either side of his hips; this time he doesn’t hesitate in slipping his finger into your cunt. You nearly see stars just from that and if one finger is any indication, you’re in for it. Slowly, he adds another, his hand pumping into you in a steady rhythm. You’re grabbing for the ground, grabbing for him as a strangled noise pushes from your throat. He reaches out with his other hand to splay it across your sternum and it’s the only thing anchoring you as he adds the third finger before scooting down to put his mouth on your clit.
“ Kiri,” you keen, shoving your hips into his touch, frantically scrabbling for his wrist that’s on your chest just to have something to hold on to. He’s done this before, he’s had to. He’s too good. Too fucking good. Already there’s coiling in your gut as incomprehensible words tumble from your mouth. “Shit. Shit. Kiri I’m--I’m gonna--” He rumbles approvingly against your clit; the vibrations send you closer and closer to the edge and when it crests, your back arches near pain as you cry out, your voice echoing in the gym. It’s deep, roaring through all of your limbs but Kiri keeps going, fingers still pumping, tongue still swirling around your sensitive nub.
Another orgasm breaks over you sharp and quick and the overstimulation has your legs quaking as your arousal gushes over Kiri’s hand and tongue. But then he’s moving again, and you’re blearily aware that he’s shoving his own shorts and boxers past his hips to free his cock. You stare as it bounces back to sit near the planes of his stomach; it’s already leaking steadily with precum. Kiri looks back at you and when your eyes meet, you dart your tongue out between your lips to wet them. Another time, maybe.
Kiri leans forward to lift you up and the closer you get you can barely see any red in his eyes; his pupils are blown, his nostrils flared as he lifts you like you weigh nothing . He could snap you like a twig. But he won’t. You know without a doubt this is the safest you’ve ever felt, even as he lowers you slowly over his cock and it does feel like you’re being split .
“ Fuuuck…” You wrap your legs around him, your mouth dropped open, your hands gripping his shoulders. You try not to dig your nails in but it’s almost impossible with how you’re being filled. You knew Kiri was big but this was almost too much. His forehead drops to yours as he pants. But he’s not moving, won’t move until you tell him to. It makes your heart ache and your cunt floods, drunk on the affection thrumming through your veins. You roll your hips experimentally and the friction is bliss. “Oh fuck, ohfuck.” You move again, pushing yourself up and back down, listening to the hitch in his breathing. “ Kiri, please, ” you whisper. Those words… they’re enough.
Kirishima grips you by the hips, his fingers splayed and digging into the flesh; it’ll leave bruises and the knowledge cracks through you like electricity. Let him leave marks. Let him leave them everywhere. He’s moving you up and down his cock, grunting, mumbling. “Tell me, Kiri, tell me.” His eyes meet yours again and his own mouth drops open.
“Fuck, you’re so good. S’ tight. Jesus, I-- ” Kiri moves his hands from your hips to support you as he lays you down on the floor of the gym. The idea should be questionable but it’s not, it’s fucking not and you can’t concentrate on any other thoughts when Kiri grabs your wrists and pins them gently above your head with one hand while the other comes back to your hip. He thrusts into you at a brutal pace but… it feels like home and you think in that moment as your cunt begins to seize around his cock that you would give up forever to continue touching him.
“Yes, Kiri, yes. Right there, right--shit yesyes yes. ” He pistons up, the veins of his cock rubbing just right and when he releases the grip on your hands, they’re moving to wrap around him on instinct. He’s planting kisses along your jaw, mouthing up to your lips and back down to graze his teeth over your pulse point. “Do it, fuckin’ do it, let them know ‘m yours, ” you slur and when he bites down you crash over the edge on a groan that’s really more of a scream. Everything goes black but you're cradling him to you as his movements become more erratic. The snapping of his hips is getting sloppier by the second and a steady growl punches from his lungs with each breath. “Cum, Kirishima, cum inside me.”
He’s never heard those words before and it lights a fire in his veins. His head is buzzing and then he can’t hear anything as his cock releases and he’s spurting searing hot ropes of cum into your cunt. He goes until you’ve milked every last drop from him and he’d be lying if he said his world didn't suddenly feel whole. Finally, his body settles and his chest drops to yours. Everything slowly bleeds back into focus and somehow, everything seems more colorful than it did moments before. You’re still clinging to him.
“Kiri. Kiri, babe, I can’t breathe,” you say and he slowly rises, taking in your blissed-out expression. Your eyes can barely stay open, your cheeks are flushed. He backs up to see his handiwork on display, hyper-focused on the trail of the mingling cum dripping from the mess of your sex. But you’re smiling. Lazy and tired, completely at ease. “Wanna take a shower?” When you nod he doesn’t hesitate in standing to kick his underwear and shorts the rest of the way off his legs and then he’s grabbing you, scooping you into his arms and against his chest. He pads out of the gym and across the hall to his bathroom where he deposits you on your feet, only after he’s sure you can stand and only long enough to turn the shower head-on.
He puts his hand under the water, waiting for it to get warm. Steam billows from behind the glass door when he’s turning back to you to remove your tank top and your sports bra. Thank god you chose the front-closure one today; you didn’t think either one of you wanted to struggle to get one up over your head right now. When your breasts spill out of the high-impact fabric, you notice with tender amusement that his cock is half-hard again. His eyes go dark again and he leans in for a kiss. But it's slow and sweet.
"You're so fuckin' beautiful," he whispers. He ignores his arousal, ushering you into the stream of water. Your care is the only thing that matters to him right now. The heat slides across your body, and when Kirishima steps up behind you and begins soaping up your shoulders, it feels like heaven .
You take turns washing each other until you’re both blissed out in a different kind of way and the only thing either one of you can think about is sleep. But the afterglow is fading and doubt is creeping in. When you step out of the water, you stand awkwardly as Kiri hands you a towel. “You okay?” He’s actually concerned and you can’t put your finger on why you’re so fucking grateful for it.
“Yea, just tired. I should, uh, probably get going.” Kiri freezes and you think you’ve said something wrong, already crossed a line. Your brain is like a broken record as the stomach-curdling image of having to see him at the agency flashes across your eyes in vivid detail. But then he’s stepping into your space and pulling you in for a hug. A hug.
“Don’t go,” he whispers into the crown of your head and it has you smiling like an idiot against his chest. His skin smells clean and warm with a hint of spice. You bury your face further in as you nod against him. Then he’s leading you to his room, to the king-sized bed. He peels back the comforter and the white sheets and pulls you in beside him. Your back is against him and he hooks his foot around your ankles, bringing you even closer.
He doesn’t say anything more, just lets out a huge sigh as he wraps his arm around you. The last thing you notice before your eyes flutter shut is how your heartbeats are thumping at the same steady rhythm.
Late afternoon sunlight slants in Kirishima’s bedroom window, creating interesting patterns across his blanket. It’s pushed towards the end of the bed, your legs intertwined and tangled in the sheets. He’s still dozing, his breathing not quite that of someone sleeping but not of a person fully awake. You reach out to cup his cheek, stroke above his eyebrows, caress his lips with your thumb. A contented sigh leaves his chest as he grabs your hand and kisses your wrist. His eyes are open now and he watches you. You smile at him, snuggling closer, not wanting the moment to end.
“Hey,” he says quietly, suddenly serious. “I just want you to know, I don’t do this all the time. I mean, I’ve been with other people before but I don’t… I don’t really hook up .” Things start clicking into place as you realize what he’s trying to get across. He just fucked you stupid in his personal gym and somehow he looks bashful. And because you love it, you’re not going to help him along. You just watch, biting your lip to keep from giggling. “I just. I guess what I’m trying to say is I like you. I’ve liked you for a long time. And normally I would have wined and dined you first but... Well. Here we are. Would you like to stay for dinner?”
That’s the last straw; your laughter comes bubbling out of you and Kiri is leaning back to look at you with a quizzical expression on his face. “Is something funny?” That just makes you laugh a little harder but the confused look he’s wearing has you leaning in to press your lips against his.
“I’ve liked you from the first day I met you, Kiri. I’ll one-up your offer and tell you that I might like to stay forever.” A grin rips across his face and your heart blooms with warmth and affection. The world seems full of possibilities but none of them matter except for the possibility laying right in front of you.

But Kishimoto gave gender to his characters and he created pattern concerning the gender. It would be different if we had some female characters that are similar in dream, motivation and power etc. to the male characters. Look at Attack on titan, we also have gender there but we don’t feel it because the author established this pattern about dreams, motivation, power etc. that I mentioned above but in Naruto we don’t have it. Even Konan or Tsunade they are bland compare to male characters. And of course we have some male characters that are not developed but we don’t look at them because we have so many male characters that are greatly developed but with women we look at them that way because they suffer in not being developed enough and they are made as women, even great female characters such as Tsunade and Konan lack development. Why is that this lack of development concern every women in Naruto while majority of male characters have development and take roles that women wanted to achive. I don’t think Kishi is sexist but I think he keeps this stereotype in his head concerning women and that’s why they are written that way. I don’t know if this is true but in one of his interviews someone said to him that he likes Hinata and Kishi answered sth like you like girls with big boobs. This is really inappropriate. I hate Sakura but when she was hated Kishimoto instead of changing her personality, goals chose to make her more beautiful. If it was like you said then Kishimoto wouldn’t look at gender while creating his characters because he could create an amazing character with development and then he would add gender or even change gender if his claims are true that he can’t write female characters but he chose not to do it because he has a pattern concerning women. I know that you won’t agree with me but this is just my opinion.
Thanks for your opinion. @carmenserenity123456
I am not at all saying, "I disagree with you"..... This isn’t like SNS vs SS/NH argument where I can debunk you with all the valid panels.... Because, this discussion is so complicated and the opinion varies from people to people because the topic is in and of itself is vague.
I would have joined you, if all this criticism were for any other Shonen.
My whole point is....
Your Opinion is just not suited for Naruto, the Series.
That's where I am coming from. You can take this as a Rant and see what I am trying to say rather than me opposing your view or anything....
When I complete watching Naruto, there’s not one moment I felt any blatant misogyny under my skin which made me go off the rails.... It’s only after visiting these Social Media platforms, I’ve been seeing these Misogyny claims getting prevalent which always confused me. Because the only Negative feeling I felt after completing this series was... “Why this Sakura and Hinata wants to get inside N and S pants so badly???” That’s all... Other than that, everything was fine with me.
And initially I too thought that the Author was bad at writing women characters... But after I started to pay real attention to other female characters, I realized that the Author was intentionally mocking Sakura and Hinata... And I’ve explained more than once about why he chose to mock them specifically. Yes, I agree that compared to the other male characters, Women characters lack screen presence and development. But I know the reason why.... And that’s what I am going to explain here....
Why every women in Naruto suffers from lack of development while majority of male characters have development?
LACK OF A MAIN FEMALE CHARACTER
Yes, You can say Sakura was the Heroine of the series because she was in Team 7 and featured in most of the Chapter Posters, Promotional Material and so on. She is a Heroine but only in Name.... The Real Heroine of this series is Sasuke which was acknowledged by Kishimoto and I’ve talked about it extensively in this post... [Link].... And the way he gave all the Tropes of Hinata to Sasuke at every given time, the way he gave Kushina’s tropes to Sasuke, the way he blatantly sexualized Sasuke and made him play a femme fatale by hugging Naruto in Orochimaru Lair and liked Naruto’s kiss in Chapter 27...
How is it that Sasuke was a given the tropes of 2 women... Not to mention one was Naruto’s mom and another was Naruto’s ‘nonexistent’ wife??? And this even gets more funny when the Author made his Hero from his other Manga to say this to Saori, the Heroine????
“I Like you... You.... Resemble my mother... A little...”
Ummm, Excuse me???
People who realize these facts... will not expect anything from Sakura because she is not the REAL HEROINE... She was just another valuable plot device to promote another Bond. That’s all.
When a Shonen series which ran for 15 years has a Heroine in all just a name but ended up having no relevance to the story..... general Audience will surely criticize this development... Because they don’t know the real purpose of Sakura’s presence in the story... And that’s understandable...
If only Sakura had some relevance to the story, then 2 things would have definitely happened...
1. No one would’ve raised this issue of Misogyny claim or anything... Because they will be happy with whatever development Sakura got from the Author...
2. It would’ve opened a welcoming door for more women to have some relevance... because if Sakura is relevant to the story, then the women associated with her would also ended up having a lot of relevance... And that brings me to my next point
LACK OF FEMALE CHARACTER ECOSYSTEM
This is such an important aspect in any media to have strong presence of Women Characters....
For Example....
This is a picture from Kill Bill movie where the story revolves around the Heroine.... And the people in this picture are the Perpetrators behind the Tragedy that had happened to her.... If you notice, out of 4 people in the picture, 3 were Women....
If you look at the Right Corner of this picture, you will see a Chinese Woman who is the Main Antagonist of the First Volume of Kill Bill. Since she is also a Main Character.... We get this Extremely Gratifying power display
She is not a Cartoonish Villain, FYI.... She is the Boss of the Criminal Organization.... And this gave rise to....
2 more women Characters were seen standing behind this Boss Lady.... They are her Loyal Assistants who would do anything for her.... And that leads to...
The Protagonist having an extended fight sequence spanning 5 minutes with this girl.... in a 1.5 hrs movie.
A Strong Female Protagonist gave rise to another Strong Female Antagonist.... And that gave rise to strong female Assistants who follows her.... And this is what I call as Ecosystem... Pushing more women characters into the Main Menu will lead to opening doors for more women who follows them...
However, When you look at this other Movie....
This is from the Movie called Lord of the Rings (LoTR).... And this movie was all about the struggles and hardships faced by this Fellowship of Men whose only job is to destroy the One Ring... Source of all evil... And it’s very clear that this movie will have no big amount of Relevance for Female Characters.... Because they don’t belong to the fellowship.
Yes, there are couple of Women characters in this movie who played a role of an Angel, Damsel in Distress, A Warrior (for a very short time).... But no one had any true development as equivalent to the male characters...
I won’t be calling LoTR as the Misogynistic movie.... It’s just that there is no scope for a Strong Women Characters here... Because the Ecosystem is dry....
And this brings me to Naruto....
These are the only Main Characters of Naruto series...... And they are Boys at that... You can argue as much as you want that Sakura and Kakashi were also main Characters.... but this is the Truth. Kishimoto never gave 2 fucks about Team 7 or anything.... He was all about Naruto and Sasuke.
The Eco System is absolutely dry here... Not one Female character has been pushed as the Main character and hence it feels like the relevance for Women characters are very less...
You may now ask... Other Animes were also like this... that is, it revolves around a Male Character or two... But still it ended up having Women Characters with reasonable development... And Why didn’t Kishimoto do that here... ???? He could’ve easily made certain Male Characters into Female and developed in the same way.... Why didn’t he do that???? And this question brings me to...
PARALLEL STORY TELLING
I’ve asked myself many times.... as to why he didn’t change the Gender of certain Male Characters and give them to female Characters... That would’ve attracted even more women readers into this Manga.... But only after carefully analyzing it I found this thing....
That is, Kishimoto is an Obsessive Freak for Parallels....
In the very First Arc, He made a literal parallel of Haku with Sasuke and Zabuza with Naruto in many ways.... One of the important thing established in this Arc is the Nature of the Bond between Haku and Zabuza is very similar to N and S...
And then the Author made a literal parallel of Team 7 with Team Sannin.... Each Sannin becomes the respective Master for their students.... Similar to Orochimaru, Sasuke also treaded into the Dark path.... Just like Jiraiya, Naruto stayed in the Straight Path.... Just like Sasuke, Orochimaru also left Konoha to achieve his goal... Just like Jiraiya, Naruto couldn’t able to bring back Sasuke after part 1....
I simply can’t see either Jiraiya or Orochimaru were to be gender swapped and teach boys and pass their knowledge... Because their bond somewhat parallels N and S to some extent...
The Fact that Jiraiya couldn’t able to bring back Orochimaru was because Jiraiya gave up pursuing Orochimaru after some time... and Orochimaru has no ‘special’ feelings for Jiraiya to make an exception for him.... Whereas that’s not the case between N and S...
This is another parallel between Obito & Naruto.... and Kakashi & Sasuke....
What if Naruto treaded into the Dark path???? And What if Sasuke stayed in the Light Path???? That’s the parallel Kishimoto wanted to show between these people...
Kakashi also lost his mom, dad, his friends, his Sensei... Somewhat very similar to Sasuke..... And yet he could stay in the Light Path without succumbing into Darkness....
Whereas Obito also had the same dream & similar personality as Naruto.... And somehow he succumbed into Darkness.... Obito is the Main Villain and Naruto is the Hero...
Again, I simply can’t see either Obito or Kakashi being women when the Author wanted to show this kind of parallel for N and S....
This is one of the most Cleverly designed panel in this Manga which always makes me cry....
What is the similarity between Minato and Itachi, by the way?? Well, there are many... But I’ll attach just one....
Regrettably, Both Minato and Itachi were responsible for Naruto and Sasuke’s loneliness.... And it all started from the Kyuubi Incident....
And the last and obvious one...
I really don’t have to go into anymore detail, Do I????
Hashi and Madara bond is a plot device to show what went wrong between them so as to not able to break the Curse.... And how would N and S would break the curse??? What’s the difference between these 2 bonds??? And What are the similarities....
I’ve never seen any media where these many insane amount of parallels were drawn just to exaggerate the Bond between 2 people....
Haku and Zabuza were drawn to mirror the possible feelings between N and S...
Orochimaru and Jiraiya trained their respective students... How did their pupils turned out in the end??? Since N and S never ended up like J and O, What’s the difference between these 2 bonded pairs????
Team Minato parallels Team 7.... But somehow personalities got switched and ended up in different paths.... Why is that??? Why a person similar to Naruto ended up in such a way??? And How could a person similar to Sasuke ended up staying in the right path???
Hashi and Madara loved each other.... But why couldn’t they break the curse??? What’s the difference between HM and SNS???
If only Sasuke or Naruto were to be a Girl... Then all the respective people who parallels them would’ve been changed into Female characters.... For Example, if Sasuke were to be a Girl.... Then Haku (who already dressed up as a Girl), Orochimaru (Gender fluid), Kakashi, Itachi would’ve been changed into Female characters and I wouldn’t be writing this explanation post here....
Or If N and S were just friends.... Sakura would’ve been given a great relevance to the story... Which means, Her Family background would’ve been explored and her direct parallel people like Rin and Tsunade, Ino would’ve ended up getting good development.... But Since, Sakura was made into a Laughing Stock of Naruto series, any female characters who were associated with her had suffered the Lack of Development.... Thank the Heavens, Tsunade survived this mess... And Rin was made into a pleasant one...
Man!!! Kishi used all those bonds to exaggerate N and S whereas he used Tsunade and Rin to mock Sakura....
Look at Iruka.... The most important person for Naruto... But he barely appears in the Manga... Other than offering Moral support for Naruto, once in a while, he has no other purpose...
Look at Orochimaru, The Villain who terrorized Part 1 of the Manga.... was killed off in the early half of the Part 2.... And then he was reduced to a Joke...
Jiraiya has no dreams other than ogling Onsen Bath and write smut novels... And he was killed off to make Naruto understand Sasuke’s pain...
Neji was killed off as a Marriage Broker....
So, Even though Neji had his own narrative, somehow Kishi used him to serve the love development of Hinata & Naruto.... So, even Male characters’ purpose revolve around N and S... Unfortunately, that’s how the Author designed this story to be...
The reason why he resort to such a story telling is to show that... Neither Jiraiya and Orochimaru nor Kakashi and Obito loved each other like N and S... Naruto and Sasuke didn’t turn out like their predecessors because they both love each other strongly... After Madara manipulated Obito, his attitude towards his own team member had changed... But even though Obito manipulated Sasuke, he still couldn’t stop himself from concerning about Naruto....
This is called Parallel Story telling and fortunately or unfortunately, The respective people who paralleled N and S were given a very good development, narrative wise.... Whereas other characters were mercilessly abandoned if the plot doesn’t require them...
And this is one of the most important reason.... you feel like Female Characters have less development as compared to their Male counterparts... Because just to show N and S were better than everyone... He created 6 more Male Characters who are very similar to N and S and ended up having a very good development in this story....
And that leads to my final point...
NATURE OF THE CHARACTERS
If the Author is pushing just 2 boys as his main characters... Then the only way a woman can have a good development in this kind of story is either she should be the Love Interest for one of the Boys... Or she should be related to Blood with one of the Boys....
Since N and S were established as orphans... There will be no scope for any Female Siblings who possibly could have any influence over these boys... You may argue, Itachi could’ve been written as a female character... But I am Sorry... Same gendered siblings have a different dynamics than the Cross-Gendered siblings.... Sasuke being obsessed about his revenge to Kill His Elder Sister might sound good on paper... But people would end up wiping tears for Itachi, if he were a Girl... And the closeness between same gendered siblings is very stronger as compared to the cross-gendered one...
And that leaves us with A Girl being a Romantic Interest to one of those boys...
If N and S were just friends... then Hinata and Sakura would have some good amount of influence over the Boys they love earnestly and they ended up having a better development...
But Since N and S love each other.... And also I’ve told this many times in many of my posts that Hinata and Sakura were just an Useless Gay Shields... Can I simply say, there’s no space or need for any women in this kind of Story???
I’ll bring The Untamed as the example, A Certified Gay media... And hilariously, this series also had very few Female Characters... Sorry... Few means... It’s exactly 4.... Out of which 3 were killed off to advance the plot... And One had a very less screen time... Probably 10 mins in total out of a 45 hour Series...
This is out Main Character’s(MC) Sister..... She had a great influence on our MC...
And she was killed off... to make our MC go mad....
And this lady had a Decent Development who is a Platonic Friend of our MC.... But she was also killed off... to make out MC take a further Dark Path...
This is another Girl... with whom our MC casually flirts... But she didn’t have that big of a role, tbh...
Compared to these women Characters.... There were plenty of male characters who were given interesting roles, ambitions and dreams in this series... And it was written by a Woman at that...
But I’ve never seen anyone had criticized this series as Misogynistic... Or criticized for lack of development for women characters... Because what is the use of having a Strong Woman in this Genre?????
This is the same pattern I saw from this Movie called Broke Back Mountain.... Which portrays about the Love between 2 men...
These are the two male lead characters (Dennis and Jack).... On whom the entire movie revolves around.... They meet... Love sparkles and they get extremely intimate...
Even though Dennis knew that he loves Jack... He still went on to marry this Girl... Because of Societal Norms and he lives in a Homophobic Repressed Society....
Now if I wear a thick FEMINIST LENS and view this movie... This Lead guy (Dennis) looks like a total jerkkk.... Who cheats an innocent girl despite loving another person... In other words, He marries this Girl (Alma) to shield his homosexuality.
Whereas if I remove my Gender Lens... And see this movie without getting biased, then I could thoroughly understand the movie in a better way.
It’s all about perspective, you see.... You can totally expect this Girl to develop her own dreams.... Choose her path and punish this Asshole for using her and screwing up her life... That’s another interesting story to explore....
But Since, this story was all about the love between Dennis and Jack.... Alma’s feelings were mostly ignored. Now can we call the writer of this Movie, a misogynist???? Just because he made his leading man to cheat this innocent woman??? Or to reduce a woman into a mere Gay Shield???
And especially after finding her husband being sexually active with his former Boyfriend... This Girl breaks down completely... Not to mention she has 3 little daughters with him...
Since this Girl is innocent... I could actually empathize with her feelings... Fortunately, She got her Divorce in the later part of the Movie...
Now imagine Sakura’s face in Alma’s place...
Could you even sympathize with this face?????
Don’t you feel, “Sakura, Deserved this empty life!!!! Geez.... How horny must she be to chase Sasuke who clearly rejected her many times”.....????
If Kishi wrote Sakura in a likeable way.... We would definitely empathize with her and wipe her tears for her... But we will eventually join up in unison and hate Sasuke as this moron who abandoned his wife....
In order to not make that happen... But still keep Sasuke’s feelings for Naruto very intact even after their marriage.... The Author derided Sakura in the worst possible way... like, not knowing whether Sasuke wore Glasses, flaunting Uchiha Crest everywhere, Abusive towards Sarada, etc........ He precisely chose a selfish and insensitive character in Sakura’s place in order to preserve the bond of N and S and at the same time use her as a shield...
Unlike Alma from Broke Back Mountain... Sakura is neither innocent nor sensitive.... So, I don’t care what happens to Sakura.
This is what I meant in my previous post.... “Don’t expect strong women Characters in a Gay Media... Because it’s a world for Men where Women have no role to play and it would be a great injustice to those Strong Characters being wasted for Nothing....”

I hate Sakura but when she was hated Kishimoto instead of changing her personality, goals chose to make her more beautiful.
Like I said above, her character was nothing but being a Gay Shield and a Third Wheel for N and S... She was written to be hated. Why would he change her goals??? What would that achieve????
Sakura could have been written to have gotten over her crazy obsession with Sasuke. But Boruto disaster was waiting in the alley... She will eventually marry Sasuke... So, realistically she was doomed to have no development... The Author clearly wanted to mock Sakura and Hinata in the war arc... So, that the bond between N and S will never diminish and more visible.
And Just in case you don’t know, Kishi gave that interview in 2015, that is after finishing the manga.... Plus, Kishi said that he drew her to be pretty on Chapter 66 cover for people to notice. Out of 72 Volumes, what useful & realistic dreams Sakura could have after Volume 66, anyway??? Because Her fate was already sealed on 45th Volume itself, that is during Pain Arc.... If an Author was not willing to give her any development for 95% of the series, what development will he give her for the rest of 5%, anyway???
I don’t know if this is true but in one of his interviews someone said to him that he likes Hinata and Kishi answered sth like you like girls with big boobs. This is really inappropriate.
You may take my answer as a justification or whatever... It’s all about context and when that interview happened.... And that interview you are talking about happened in 2015... Long after the series got over. Kishimoto clearly knew Hinata was a character with no usefulness to the story...
Tell me, if you are an author... And you wrote a successful Manga... with many strong characters... And when you ask a guy, “Who is your favourite character?”... And that person shamelessly tells you, “Hinata” of all people... What would you think??? Provided that she was extremely sexualized by SP in a vulgar way.... I’ll attach that interview excerpt...
“I like the fact that at the beginning she was a weakling, but due to Naruto’s influence she steadily became strong...”
God!!!! I wonder if this person really read the Manga... She never became stronger... She was a joker who was tripping up on the battle field.... Don’t you think Kishimoto don’t know any of this???? Even to my eyes, it’s very clear that this person wanks for Hinata for her big breasts...
If that doesn’t convince you.... Here’s one of the meme from Dudebros...
My Eyes!!!!
What a vulgar people!!!! Even though I hate her... I can’t even process this meme...
It’s very clear that All of those boys likes Hinata because of her jugs... And Kishimoto was pointing that perverted ass out. I definitely would have been furious if Kishimoto made this remark for any other female characters like Tsunade or Temari...
One of my guy friend... told he liked Hinata... Much to my disgust, I too asked the same question just like Kishimoto... And My friend became so shy for a moment... Because that’s the truth. If Kishi’s statement still looks inappropriate... It’s fine. To me, he was just mocking the fans of Hinata who like her for nothing other than whatever she has.
It would be different if we had some female characters that are similar in dream, motivation and power etc. to the male characters. Look at Attack on titan, we also have gender there but we don’t feel it because the author established this pattern about dreams, motivation, power etc. that I mentioned above but in Naruto we don’t have it.
Sasuke didn’t have a dream and healthy motivation until Chapter 699...
Jiraiya didn’t, Kakashi didn’t...
Neji had a dream but was killed off to play a Marriage Broker...
Whereas Tsunade had a dream and a realistic one at that...
This is her dream... And she fulfilled it... And it still lives on... Added to that, she fulfilled Dan’s dream to become Hokage as well... Since she is not a Main Character, we can only get limited amount of her screen time...
Not to mention, she is the only woman character to have her own Arc.... And went on to have an interesting Battle with people like Orochimaru and Madara.... I think for a side character.... She did a lot more than Sakura will ever do in her whole life...
And you said, Attack on Titans had women characters who have dreams, motivations and such... I never watched this series and I am writing this purely from my observation from Naruto fan’s discussion in Tumblr...
“Set in a world where humanity lives inside cities surrounded by enormous walls due to the Titans, gigantic humanoid creatures who devour humans seemingly without reason, the story centers around Eren Yeager, his childhood friends, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert, whose lives are changed forever after the appearance of a Colossus Titan brings about the destruction of their home town and the death of Eren's mother. Vowing revenge and to reclaim the world from the Titans, Eren, Mikasa and Armin join the Survey Corps, an elite group of soldiers who fight Titans outside the walls.”
This is the description I see everywhere.... From what I can understand, Eren, Mikasa and Armin were pushed as the Main Characters of this series... Unlike with Naruto, this series has a female character in the Main Menu...
First, AoT and Naruto are not same.... Because Naruto is a Gay Media... Whereas AoT might have Gay characters... I don’t know and I am writing this purely on Fandom’s discussion... But it doesn’t have a Bond like SNS... So, Can I say it’s not a Full on Gay media????
Second, If Girls had great dreams and ambitions.... then why am I seeing this kind of views very often???
This is something I saw from one of the Naruto fan blog.... Added to that... this
Excuse me????
I can jump off from any mountain and boldly say... No other Characters could ever be as bad as Sakura in any other media.... But somehow Mikasa was always compared to Sakura by a large amount of people...
I know fandom dudebros are shit... They are disgusting and I get it...
But if Mikasa, the Main Character were written to be really strong with multiple layers, then how come such a divisive opinions arise from the Fandom??? People can criticize Mikasa’s decision in certain Plots and Arcs... That’s totally different... They can claim she is Bad or Evil or what not... But why comparing to Sakura???
With Naruto series, I can cite Gayness as the reason and also Sakura was never pushed as the Main Character by the Author... But what reason does AoT author has to not make Mikasa equally strong with her Male Counterparts like Eren and Armin????
I don’t understand this Shonen thing... AT ALL...

To finish off this post....
This post’s intention is not to change people’s opinion... It’s just my thoughts as to why I feel Kishimoto is not a Misogynistic Monster as the Fandom makes him out to be... Because Naruto Fandom is totally weird and it has a persistent habit of Blaming the Author for everything that they can’t understand... And the sole intention for writing this reply post is to make people see the important Aspects of Story Telling, Author’s motivation and Genre... And then come to a judgement rather than jumping into a quick conclusion without considering any of these...
This Author is insanely obsessed about the bond between N and S to the point of creating 4 other parallel bonds which failed in certain aspects... He wanted to show that what makes N and S different from any of those other parallel bonds... And if he was this much obsessed about this Bond, then I am pretty sure he would throw any character under the Bus to emphasize SNS... Male and Female alike...
There are so many Misogynistic Tropes in Media like... Gratuitous R*pe, Killing off Main Female Characters to push the narrative of Male Lead, Characters slut shaming another Characters, Romanticizing Abusive relationship like Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey shits... (which were also written by women), Portraying Hinata as this ideal waifu but dissing other Women Characters, Blatant Sexualization where women were just used as a Sex Doll for the Male Character to achieve and there are so many.... Of all the Tropes I’ve mentioned above, Naruto don’t even qualify under one...
Instead of sexualizing a female character, he ended up sexualizing Sasuke (Sasuke on Sai jutsu...???)... Instead of making a Woman Character as the trophy to achieve for his Male character, he ended up making Sasuke as the trophy which was achieved by Sakura...
I acknowledge the fact that Women Characters in Naruto may look Lacklustre as compared to other Shonen... But Lacklustre is different from Bad Writing... The Author who wrote Sakura also wrote Saori, Granny Chiyo, Tsunade, Konan, Kushina... Yes, their presence is very less in the story because they are side characters... If he can write these women with a better & strong personality, then I am pretty sure he could’ve did a lot better for Sakura and Hinata too... But he won’t... Not if they come between his favourite boys....
But Will he ever write a woman to have any importance on N and S, in that way??? I don’t think so... He is totally selfish that way... Kishi wants N to be everything for S and S to be everything for N.... Can’t blame his desperation though...
And this is exactly why I am so baffled as to why SNS fans expect strong women characters from Naruto, when you all clearly believe it’s a Gay Media??? Which Gay movie has a best women character, I wonder???
#sns#sasunaru#narusasu#sasunarusasu#Respect the Genre and you will enjoy it!!!!#Expecting Timeless Romance from a Horror Movie is just Absurd!!!#Or Please watch the Gay Media I mentioned in this post and judge for yourself#I've read a lesbian novel where Men were written to be totally irrelevant to the plot#I desire women characters to be written well too... But not in a media similar to Naruto

On Itachi, his fandom, and moral standpoints
Once again I come back with a meta, unsurprisingly, of Naruto’s manga and, more specifically, about a character in particular, Uchiha Itachi, his fandom and what it entails and represents. My decision to make him the primary focus of this meta is just to bring light (open the door for more in depth debates) of a deeper, much more complicated problem that Itachi represents, but undoubtedly surpasses him and the Naruto manga as a whole.
Be warned, my take on Itachi’s fandom does not contemplate those fans who merely enjoy him but do not negate important parts of his character, if that’s your particular case, then be assured that I did not have you in my mind when writing this. This is about, let’s say, the hardcore fandom he possesses, that justifies (and to some extent, celebrates) his implications in the UCM and blindfold loyalty to Konoha and its system.
How can I even begin to introduce Itachi’s character? What he was supposed to be and what he surprisingly became? How to start to explain his fenomenon? Itachi was not supposed to be good, from his introduction he was a manipulative, dark character that tortured physically and mentally Sasuke and was a threat to Naruto’s (the protagonist) life. At no point during the first part of the manga were we able to see glimpses of a “good” Itachi that the narrative later on tried to establish, and yet, there were three (conected) factors of imperative importance to understand the raise of his character from the first part of the manga to the other.
The first one was, let’s call it, his intrinsecal persona's appeal (and everything it encompases).
Itachi’s not the first cryptic male character that gets favored by a large part of the fandom for that mere trait (look at any shönen or show and see how many characters whose sole trait is to be mysterious becomes the fandom’s favorite), added to the fact that he’s powerful enough to subdue men who’s status of geniuses are often highlighted in the manga (Orochimaru and Kakashi), and his... physical charm, you have a powerful combo to make readers incline more and more on his favor. Itachi had sparked their interest.
There are boxes to fill to attract the public interest to a character, and Itachi filled in all of them.
The Power-Mystery-Beauty triangle is not an unknown formula (Christian Gray, Edward Cullen, to name characters from mainstream, from other manga there is Light, now surprisingly, Dabi) and in every fiction work it has appeared, it worked to lure the (female) public towards it.
But is that enough? For some, yes, for most, Itachi represents something that they desired profoundly, and that’s entirely attached to Sasuke’s character.
Even back in the first part of the manga, Sasuke’s character was received mixedly, there were people who saw his personality as too abrasive (similar to Itachi’s but because Sasuke was supposed to be with the nice guys, this aspect of him clashed rather harshly with his position on the narrative) and considered him a mere emo who believed himself to be better than Naruto and Sakura (he was, but he also acknowledged this fact, which make some readers disapprove of him even more).
Itachi challenged that “so-called” superiority, additionally downgrading and humiliating him in a way readers felt he, to some extent, deserved. The dislike of part of the fandom of Sasuke’s character found a way of purchase inside the manga. Naruto wasn’t strong enough (and eventually cared too much) to subdue Sasuke, Sakura was too in awe with him to “stand up against him”, Kakashi saw his greatness and taught him powerful jutsus while paying zero attention to his other students. Until Itachi, no other character seemed to put Sasuke “in his place”, because even the villains of each arc seemed particularly obsessed with Sasuke and Sasuke only, elevating even more his importance and status and sidelining Naruto and (of course), Sakura, who were left with mere participations in what seemed a Sasuke-focused plot. Up at this point, Sasuke was far more important than the actual protagonist of the manga but Itachi, who was actually Sasuke’s goal, who was actually the person Sasuke aspired to surpass, abused him, manipulated him and -more importantly- seemed more focused on getting Naruto -hence, retribution: the only person Sasuke seemed to care about didn’t seem care about him at all.
Itachi’s coolness, strength and mature handsomeness (that Sasuke did not present until Shippuden, but Itachi was literally introduced with), plus the dislike of Sasuke’s character and the belief that he needed to be rectified, the reason of which will be brought up next, appealed the teenage fandom in a way strong enough to catapult him inside the popularity polls just right after his presentation.
The Self-inserts inside Itachi’s fandom
As I introduced, a large part of the fandom back in the first part already, and in Shippuden particularly, had a deep dislike of Sasuke’s character and wanted him to suffer -to be beaten, to be “owned”, Itachi’s character fulfilled that wish, which takes me to the second factor.
You can’t explain this point in particular without adding the “self-insert” and “reader-insert” notions that often gets attached to Itachi (Sakura, Naruto and Hinata) fans,
“Self-insertion is a practice by authors of writing themselves into their own stories, either explicitly or in thinly-disguised form; in a fannish context this most often means fan writers writing themselves into their favorite source material so that they can interact with canon or its characters” (X)
Whilst
“Reader-Insert is a type of fanfiction, almost always written in 2nd person Point of View; the protagonist is always the reader, and is usually paired with one of the canon characters. "Reader-insert" typically has a hyphen hyphen, but is also known as Canon X Reader (sometimes CanonXReader).” (X)
In this particular case, many readers had succumbed to something slightly in between. The manga doesn’t belong to them, so the only one in position to literally self-insert is Kishimoto (canonically), so they are left with the option of attaching themselves personally to a pre-existed character with whom they feel somewhat represented. If not, then at least they attach emotionally to a character because it represents what they desire (this can be more observed in the shipping part of the fandom). Meaning, they use a canon established character that is not literally the reader, but who clearly represents them or represents what they want in their significant (romantical) other.
Sakura was the only female lead who had a crush on the cool guy, readers (particular female ones) didn’t need much to feel a connection with her (during the first part, Kishimoto didn’t even give them much to do so, but they still attached to her with the prospect of what she might become), while Naruto was the dead last, it appealed to those who also felt that they weren’t popular or were mistreated by their peers.
But what the self-inserts of Sakura or even Naruto had to do with the increasing love for Itachi?
To explain this in a way that can be understandable: Sakura fans who believed Sasuke disrespected her when not acknowledging her feelings or when downgrading her skills often turned their attention to the man of similar physique and strength to fulfill their fantasies of reciprocation -because canonically, Itachi had neither rejected, nor downgraded her character. In the same fashion, Naruto fans who believe Sasuke is egotistical by not caring for/acknowledging Naruto in the same manner he does (hence, not deserving him), tend to also indulge in the same type of behavior previously mentioned.
Later on, when the narrative introduces the idea that Itachi stands alongside Konoha (Naruto and Sakura), thus, against Sasuke (from an idealistic standpoint), this particular practice deepens, grows. They feel validated on their idea that Itachi will treat their favorite character (them) better, while at the same time punishing Sasuke for rejecting them.
There are not many cases of Itachi self-inserts, I’m not denying their existence however because he did fulfilled a wish many readers had (against Sasuke), but Itachi’s self-insert part of the fandom seems to be more in terms of female character fans that desire their favorite kunoichi to be loved/desired/respected? by a powerful, handsome, mysterious character.
Sasuke’s importance in the narrative (and character growth)
Sasuke escaping Konoha to get to Orochimaru, train, and become strong enough to defeat Itachi and avenge his clan won’t hold up for the four hundred or so chapters Naruto Shippuden lasts. After Itachi’s defeat at his hands, Sasuke had no reason not to return to Konoha, more importantly, he had no reason to fight Naruto as it was the intention and ultimate and most important clash in the manga since the introduction of their rivalry.
Sasuke’s growth as a character (that I spoke more detailed in this post) was tied to the introduction of a deeper, more important problem: Konoha’s involvement in the UCM. It wasn’t new in Naruto to present the dichotomy and harsh truths of the shinobi system (Hyuga clan, Haku, Jinchurikis), and the intervention of Konoha’s government in the massacre of the Uchiha clan provided the narrative with a reason to have both Sasuke and Naruto fighting in different sides of the battlefield, but also presented a deeper problem: Itachi couldn’t be bad.
He couldn’t stand in the “bad” side of the field because both, that would put Naruto (the hero) in the same morally bad position, and Itachi's fandom (which was massive), was eager for redemption, they demanded it, and Naruto is not a manga that doesn’t get influenced by what its purchasers want. In consequence, they needed to justify Itachi’s actions. We can talk about how abysmally bad they did it, we can talk about how much better this problem could have been sorted out, but that is not the core of this post.
Kishimoto loved Sasuke, I have said this before, despite the fandom wishes, he stood his ground when it came to Sasuke and his revolutionary position until the very end. Maintaining that ideal as just, put Naruto (hence, Itachi) in the wrong. But because the narrative needed Naruto to be good and in the right, he ended up justifying genocide by justifying Itachi.
Consequently, and with the appeal he earned with his introduction and the Sasuke-hate (self-inserts), Itachi became a favorite character amongst favorite characters despite being a plot holes with legs. Readers eagerly consumed whatever panel proved that Itachi was not the bad guy he was previously believed to be. (proved or at least didn’t show, Itachi still commited genocide, but we don’t get to see such attrocities so its easier to forget he slaughtered innocent people, children amongst them). Readers who liked him were desperate for the narrative’s validation.
Core of the issue
Which brings me to the core of the post and in retrospection, I have already presented it: moral standpoints. This is not new, I’m not introducing any new idea, and this is hardly something that happens solely in the Naruto’s (and most specifically Itachi’s) fandom. Liking or not a character is tied to so many subjective variables that it’s hard to pinpoint exactly what makes a character desirable or despicable despite solid traits being commonly shared on particular troups. And yet, liking or not a character became a moral standpoint for which people judged each other on a personal level. It has happened since always, but the internet did nothing but make more accessible and public this type of clashes. Therefore, Redemption Arcs became the most precious gem inside fictional works and Naruto fell for it, and fell hard.
It’s almost mandatory to have the narrative’s validation in order to enjoy a character freely and Naruto provided it to Itachi’s fandom. His actions were justified by the manga and the most important (and beloved) characters stood by his side, even those who were victims of him forgave his actions because there was someone (with less appeal and more morally questionable actions under his belt) to blame further. Having the narrative’s moral validation is more important than actually being in the right.
Itachi was manipulated by the Will of Fire who he learned from Hiruzen who was passed to him by Tobirama who created it because he was raised during the Warring States Period, so his apprehension to the Uchiha was justified. It’s a train of justifications that ultimately holds no one responsible for the genocide of an entire clan/race which then becomes something bound to happen. So to save face, they use an escape goat: Danzo and the Curse of Hatred. They put the blame of the massacre to a single character and the actual victims because, well, they were genetically prone to disaster and killing them was the only way to ensure (temporary) peace.
Liking a character doesn’t automatically mean condoning its actions but because that subjective appeal became more and more the reflection of the reader’s ideals (for some reason I’m not here to trace), those two actions merged, which translated consequently into demanding the narrative’s validation of our tastes. There’s no denial of the pleasing sensation that comes with having the plot’s endorsement for liking a complex/morally gray or even dark character, but that approval turned to be the most important/valuable requirement, which, in turn, made readers justificate (supported by the narrative) despicable actions, such as genocide.
Let’s go back to the second bullet point, self- inserts, as to discern more in depth their reasons to look for a justification on Itachi’s character: Itachi (an Uchiha that was not affected by the Curse, as his peers were) who the narrative proclaims wanted his brother’s safety and happiness above all things, stands morally with Konoha (hence, the readers’ favorite character). Therefore, justifying his actions is justifying Sakura and Naruto’s actions against Sasuke (manipulation is alright because Itachi did it, trying to kill Sasuke because he didn’t want to bend to their will is alright because Itachi did it), it gives them reasons to believe that they are on the right side of the battlefield, it gives them moral superiority. They’re in the right, they are good people, Sasuke was too deep in his hatred to either see it or correspond their feelings and that’s why he needs to be saved, and who more appropriate to do so than the two characters that were mocked by him during the first part of the manga? Even in the end, Itachi still gives them the retribution they still feel deserve and that Sasuke -still- didn’t give.

Why Sasuke & Sakura Constantly Say “My Wife” & “My Husband”
I can’t fucking believe I have to explain this but here we are. This is a long ass post so I’ve done ya’ll a favor by putting the “Keep Reading” thing here.
When Sasuke was 7 years old he lost his entire family and clan in one night. His Older Brother twisted his memories with his genjutsu and left him as an orphan in the village. For the longest time he was on his own. No relatives to raise him, no one to comfort him or teach him the ways of his clan. No one to support him and listen to his problems willingly. He grew up longing for love.
This man has been longing for a family since he was no older than a first grader in our world.
Sakura was insecure about her appearance and her confidence was really low as a child. But with a little help from Ino and her newfound feelings for Sasuke as kid, she became a little more stable. All she wanted was his validation and his acknowledgement.
Sasuke was longing for love and acknowledgement.
Sakura was longing for love and acknowledgement.
Their desires in life have always been the same thing.
After getting on the same team, they start to learn about each others’ strengths and weaknesses. They saw each others’ good and bad sides with each mission. Then after a while before they knew it: they were willing to risk their lives for each other.
Throughout the course of Part 1 we see their relationship go from strangers to a pair of “secret lovers”. Because every character around them have indicated that Sakura was different from everyone else when it came to Sasuke’s relationships. He had put her on a pedestal above everyone else and Sasuke himself reinforces this when he called her “Precious” / “Dear” to him and stated that he wouldn’t forgive “Even her” if she had gotten in the way of his goal. She was the only one he thanked when he left the village and instead of leaving her to catch a cold on the hard ground he laid her on the same bench she first confessed her feelings for him.
Keep in mind: Sasuke never rejected her feelings for him that night before he left the village.
Sasuke knew Sakura’s love was real and pure. He felt the same way, but he had to leave in order to get the power to kill Itachi. He couldn’t bring her with him and he couldn’t risk putting her in danger. So he thanked her for everything. It was the only thing he COULD say to her in return.
Why do you think Kishimoto felt awkward when drawing / writing this scene? He said he felt awkward because Sakura shouting “I love you” to Sasuke made it sound like they were already lovers. You weren’t just hallucinating the romantic tension in the air in that chapter. It was MEANT to be romantic.
Then when we reach the 2nd half of the series, Sasuke refuses to hurt Sakura physically. She was the only one uninjured during their first reunion and every time their team met up again she was the first one he always addressed and vice versa. The romantic tension between them can be cut with a knife. It’s like something out of Shakespeare’s plays with Sasuke’s plunge to madness when he attempted, for the first time, to harm Sakura physically.
But even then: he couldn’t look her in the eyes like he did when he stabbed Karen. He had to attack her from behind because he couldn’t look the only one who loved him unconditionally in the eyes as he tried to kill her.
I could go on for centuries about the eye sex they have later on so that’s getting it’s own post later. But let’s just say that Kishimoto made it blatantly obvious to anyone with a pair of eyes that Sasuke still loved Sakura and Sakura still loved Sasuke.
She made him falter. He had to knock her out so she wouldn’t stop his fight with Naruto.
Then when the war was over he shared his sign of affection he shared with Itachi. To let her know his feelings for her were mutual and that their love story wasn’t over. It was just the beginning.
Now as Husband and Wife they serve as the new Patriarch and Matriarch of the Uchiha Clan with a beautiful Daughter who takes after both of them in all respects.
So Sasuke saying “My Wife” a million times throughout Boruto and the novels isn’t just a title she has now. It’s his way of showcasing PDA with her around others. Just as “My Husband” is Sakura’s way of showing pride and devotion to Sasuke around others.
So when people say that him saying “My Wife” is cringey or is “OOC” for Sasuke, just remember this man married his first love and finally got the family he longed for as a child.

Okay so I have watched the 2 premiers twice now, and I have FEELINGS about the season 12 cast!
Before we get into it, let's address Sh***y P** real quick: we do not stand for abusers in this house, I hope she never works again and that she ends up in jail.
Now that's out of the way, in alphabetical order:
1. Aiden Zhane
I see potential! I loved her spring look, and her Fosse performance was on point. Her makeup could use a little finessing, but I definitely see where she's coming from. Having said all that, she's already got herself involved in a world of drama. Her comments about the Atalnta drag scene I found really odd, because it's just not true? Weird. Her comments about trans people and specifically trans women doing drag... hmm. On one hand, I appreciate that she apologised, and it seemed fairly genuine - as did her message about all forms of drag being valid. On the other hand, there was a defensive tone, and there seemed like a lot of "I've learned, I've grown, that was a long time ago" and I kind if feel like... 2018 wasn't that long ago girl. You were already 26/27, it's not like you were a teenager making stupid comments. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but also I'm not a trans woman and I dont do drag, so my opinion doesn't mean much!
2. Brita
Whenever I hear her name I feel thirsty 😂😂 I'm kind of underwhelmed so far, her entrance look was okay, both her mini challenge looks were alright, and her rap challenge look was a bit meh. The look she wanted to wear for the challenge (posted on her insta) was stunning though. I hated hated hated hated her runway look! It looked like a disco ball version of Alexis Michelle's rainbow look from season 9. I dont have all that much else to say about her, I didn't love any of her looks, I wasnt blown away by her performance, let's see what she does next week!
3. Crystal Methyd
I. Love. Crystal. Methyd. That fall look ended me. It was so perfect, she was giving me fashion, she was giving me camp, she was giving me references, she was giving me attention to detail, she was giving me LIFE. Every look she served was incredible. I knew exactly who she was when she walked in the work room, she elevated herself in the mini challenge, she showed up for the performance in the rap (and by the way her Nicki Minaj look was perfection), and her runway look was so well executed. I adore her. Top 4 pick.
4. Dahlia Sin
I still cannot get over how much she looks like Aja! I had really high Hope's for her because she's from the Haus of Aja, but she just didn't quite measure up, which is a real shame. Her entrance look was gorgeous, her mini challenge looks were okay, her runway look was alright. Her Fosse performance was okay, I think her voice is pretty, I liked her lyrics and she can clearly dance; she just wasn't giving me the ~performance~ aspect, which is a shame. I'm hoping she gets out of her head a bit and loosens up, I think she'll do much better! She's middle of the pack for me at the moment, but if she can trust herself a bit more I think she'll be unstoppable.
5. Gigi Goode
Good morning Miss Goode! I'm blown away by Miss Gigi. I cannot wait to see what she pulls out next week! She's fashion, she's elegance, she's beautiful, she's a performer, she's personality, she's funny, she's clever, is there anything she can't do?! Her entrance look had me screaming, her mini challenge looks had me in the floor, her runway look had me gagging. The only problem for me was the rap challenge look, it was pretty horrific. I'm counting it as a blip, and her verse more than made up for it! Top 4 pick right there.
6. Heidi N Closet
Okay, I'm not in love with Heidi's name choice, but can Ru and Michelle really say that it's the worst name in drag race history?! I mean girl, Kalorie Karbdashian Williams? Really? I like Heidi so much, though. I wasn't the biggest fan of her looks, particularly the mini challenge spring look, but girl the headpiece fell off and just kept on going! I respect the fuck out of that, that's a professional right there. And anyone that is in hospital during the night and turns around the next day and delivers a performance like that?? What a trooper! I fully respect her. I just wish her hair and makeup was a little bit more polished. She could definitely be the dark horse here, anyone who discounts Heidi N Closet is making a huuuuge mistake.
7. Jackie Cox
Yaaaaaas Jackie Cox!!!! I was nervous when she walked in in that red skirt, but as soon as she pulled out her mini challenge looks I was SOLD. She has a really distinct point of view, she clearly builds characters for each look and sells you that fantasy with every walk, and that's talent. She's also hilarious and adorable as shit. Her performance was incredible as well! I. Love. Jackie. Cox. Top 4.
8. Jaida Essence Hall
So many queens come into this competition with room to grow, and things to learn (which is not at all a bad thing), but my girl Jaida is THERE. My queen is polished, she is elegant and elevated, but she also knows how to have fun! I feel like she is going to go from strength to strength in this competition. Her entrance look was gorgeous (and she made it!), her mini challenge looks were really well thought out and well executed, her performance in the Fosse number was amazing, and her runway look was so stunning. This is someone who knows exactly who she is, she knows her strengths, she knows how to play to them, and she knows exactly what she's doing. She's Top 4 right there.
9. Jan
Just Jan! I'm speechless. I adore her. She's perfection. This week was the perfect set of challenges for Jan, and she sooo should have been in the top 2! Her voice is amazing, her lyrics were perfect, and cam we talk about her tulle look?! It was so so so smart, and so well done! I would have been impressed just with the idea of the tool/tulle look, but to also have it executed so perfectly?! Gagged. Also she is just to most adorable little ray of sunshine!! She's so happy to be there and her energy is so infectious! Every time she was on screen she made me smile. So excited to see what she pulls out next week. Top. Fucking. 4.
10. Nicky Doll
La diva Francaise! Every single look she pulled should be on a Vogue cover. ESPECIALLY that fall mini challenge look I was screaming. I was so worried that her verse and performance wasn't going to be up to scratch because she might just be a "look queen" but she proved me so wrong and I was soooo happy! She's a performer, she's a fashion queen, she's a dancer, and I was so proud of her! Is she Top 4 material? Yes she is! Don't discount Miss Nicky as a look queen because she's got hidden depths.
11. Rock M Sakura
Rock M Sakura? Rock my world! She gave me everything I didnt know I needed!! She's a little fireball, she's got so much talent, and ambition, and passion and I cannot get enough. Her mini challenge looks were perfectly executed, fully realised, and fully Rock M. I feel like I know her already, and I love her so much. I'm so glad she told her story, and I hope she knows how important her story and her voice is. Her Fosse performance was really good, but i wish she hadn't put on the character - it's Rock M we love and Rock M we want! Her tulle look fully made up for it though, I loved it! I think if you're going to do tulle then fucking do tulle. And she gave me that. She's fully Top 4.
12. Widow Von Du
The Widow Von Du, where to even begin? Here entrance look was a 10. Her mini challenge looks were a 10. Her rap challenge look was a 10. Her runway look was a motherfucking 11. Her rap performance was the. Best. Performance. Of both premiers. Her lyrics were incredible, and she is so clearly a performer! I am so so impressed by Widow and I absolutely cannot wait to see what she does next! She's a superstar. Even if she doesn't win (which something really left field is going to have to happen for her not to be at least top 4), she's going to be one for the fucking history books. I think you already know I think she's Top 4.
To sum up, this is the most exciting cast (for me) yet! I can't imagine any of them going home, I think they're all amazing!!
As a side note as well, can we talk about Nicki Minaj? Shes the best guest judge that has ever been on that panel. Her critiques were thoughtful, detailed, personalised, and constructive. She really listened to their lyrics, she had something good to say about everyone and she was so sweet watching them perform! I love her.

Translation Time! - “Gotta Catch Ya Later!”
DISCLAIMER: These translations come from a Facebook group that has posted clips of the original Japanese versions of certain episodes with French subtitles. I am not fluent in French, but between what I do know and research aides, I’m moderately confident in these translations; any spots I feel particularly troubled by will be noted. While the subtitles I’m using were written for the Japanese version of these episodes, that still means that this is a translation of the Japanese version by way of another language.
With all that said - let’s take a look at a few key scenes from “Gotta Catch Ya Later!”
(Two more things before we get started: One, if there’s ever a need to go through GCYL again for any reason - trivia, screenshots, to open a wormhole into a parallel universe where magic is real and death has been conquered - someone else can do it. This damn episode tugs at my heartstrings more than any kids show has a right to do to someone less than a year away from 30.
Two: what little of Pokemon I’ve had a chance to see in Japanese, I prefer in Japanese, but this episode is an exception. Mayumi Iizuka’s performance is fine, but I think Rachel Lillis, throughout the episode, has a more broken and vulnerable quality that fits the writing extremely well. I also prefer the song and montage 4Kids came up with; while it is nice that the original version looks back at Misty’s entire time on the show, it’s her separation from Ash that forms the emotional core of her arc in this episode, and I think having a montage that focuses in on that aspect is ultimately more appropriate.)
SCENE: Misty gets the call.
English:
DAISY: Where have yo been, Misty? We’ve been trying to reach you. I was afraid it’d be too late. MISTY: Everything OK? DAISY: TA-DA! Tickets for a trip around the world! I came in third in a beauty competition, and I’m able to bring...two others! MISTY: Huh? DAISY: We, um, kind of figured you wouldn’t be that interested in coming along anyway, so you can cover for us at the Cerulean Gym while we’re seeing the world! MISTY: Hey, hold on a minute! DAISY: We’ll be back before long! MISTY: What just happened...? BROCK: She deserved to win that trip around the world! ASH: They’re lucky. MISTY: Well, I’m not! Why should I be the one who has to go work at the Gym!? ASH: But Misty, it’s only while they’re gone. MISTY: That’s true...
Original:
SAKURA: Kasumi, it’s about time! I thought you wouldn’t get the message in time. KASUMI: What’s happening? SAKURA: TA-DA! These are tickets to go around the world! We just won them in the lottery! And they’re valid for the whole family! We didn’t think you’d be interested, Kasumi, so until our return, we’re counting on you to watch the Hanada Gym! KASUMI: Wait a second - ! SAKURA: Alright, we’re going! KASUMI: She...she hung up!? TAKESHI: What luck! A tour of the world! SATOSHI: I’m jealous! KASUMI: I don’t feel jealous at all! Why is it me who has to watch the Gym!? SATOSHI: I don’t see what’s wrong with that. KASUMI: But...
ANY DIFFERENCES? Misty’s sisters win their tickets in a lottery in the original, not a beauty contest. The dub implied that Misty’s departure from the series might be temporary by adding in the line about how she’ll only be watching the Gym until her sisters get back; in the original, there was no qualifier. And in the original, this scene sets up the next one by having Ash already acting cavalier about Misty’s departure while she’s upset and uncertain about it.
SCENE: Ash gets a clue.
English:
ASH: That’s great! You finally got your bike back! Now you’ll get home fast. MISTY: Whoopty-doo. ASH: Why are you so grouchy? MISTY: I’m not grouchy! Why don’t you just leave me alone!? PIKACHU: Pika! ASH: Uh, Misty? That was weird. What’s wrong? BROCK: I get the feeling that maybe she wanted to keep on traveling with us. ASH: Oh, really?
Original:
SATOSHI: That's great Kasumi! With that [the bike] you'll be able to quickly get home to Hanada! KASUMI: You really don't understand anything! SATOSHI: Why are you angry? KASUMI: Satoshi, you don't understand how I feel! SATOSHI: Kasumi! ...What's she talking about? TAKSHI: Kasumi might not want to stop traveling with us. (Satoshi’s expression falls)
ANY DIFFERENCES? Misty flat-out tells Ash that he doesn’t get it.
SCENE: The walk.
English:
MISTY: I can’t believe how Ash could talk to me like that after all we’ve been through...like it means nothing to him. The worst part...he isn’t even sad about us having to split up...
Original:
KASUMI: Satoshi...we've traveled together until now...it looks like he doesn't care...couldn't he be a little sad?
ANY DIFFERENCES? Not really.
SCENE: “Your bike’s there.”
English:
ASH: You were great, Misty. MISTY: Thanks. I feel a lot better now. ASH: It was awesome, watching you battle like that. MISTY: Thank you, Ash. That’s sweet. And thanks for always being a good friend to me. ASH: Yeah, sure! Misty? MISTY: Yeah? ASH: Your bike’s there. MISTY: Oh... ASH: You’re...in a hurry, right?
Original:
SATOSHI: You did it, Kasumi! KASUMI: Yeah, I feel better now! SATOSHI: Your battle was very impressive! KASUMI: Thank you, Satoshi...to have allowed me to travel with you. SAOTSHI: It's me who should be thanking you! ...Um... KASUMI: What? SATOSHI: Your bike...you're in a hurry, right?"
ANY DIFFERENCES? Misty thanks Ash for letting her travel with him, instead of for being a good friend to her as she does in the dub. On the other hand, Ash says that he’s the one who should be thanking Misty in the original.
SCENE: Lead-in to the montage
English:
MISTY: So Ash - don’t forget your morning rituals. Take a bath and brush your teeth. ASH: I’ll remember. MISTY: And make sure that Pikachu doesn’t eat too much. PIKACHU: Pikachu! MISTY: And now Brock, try not to get too distracted by all the girls. BROCK: (Laughs) MISTY: One more thing... ASH: That’s enough! MISTY: It’s just something that I feel I need to tell you... ASH: Alright. MISTY: Just keep on...doing your best... ASH: Uh, what do you mean? MISTY: Well, you know...without me there...
Original:
KASUMI: Satoshi, remember to wash your face in the morning! SATOSHI: OK. KASUMI: Pikachu, don't eat too much! PIKACHI: Pikachu! KASUMI: Takeshi, stop being a fool around the pretty Trainers you meet! TAKESHI: Hey! KASUMI: And... SATOSHI: Alright, that's enough. KASUMI: If I don't say it, no one will! SATOSHI: OK, OK! KASUMI: It's just...weird... SATOSHI: Kasumi? KASUMI: If I'm not here...
ANY DIFFERENCES? The end of the conversation is a little less focused; the dub used it as a lead-in to their song “Misty Most of All,” which is a terrible pun that makes my eyes tear up every goddamn time.
SCENE: Aftermath of the montage
English:
MISTY: It’s ‘cause of this bike that I met Ash. Togepi, it was a coincidence that you and I met too. ASH: Our wasn’t coincidence. I don’t believe it can be just a coincidence that I met you, out of all people. MISTY: What do you mean, Ash? ASH: I guess what I mean is, even though that happened, I think that we were meant to meet and become friends! BROCK: Me too. We’ve been through so much together on our travels, I’d say we’re best friends now! MISTY: You mean it, Brock? We’re really best friends? ...Yeah!
Original:
KASUMI: If I'd had this bike, nothing would have happened. Togepi, it's by chance that we met. SATOSHI: It wasn't chance. The fact we met couldn't be due to chance! KASUMI: What are you saying? SATOSHI: After all the adventures we've gone through - we became best friends that day! TAKESHI: And these three best friends have traveled together so far! KASUMI: Three best friends?
ANY DIFFERENCES? Not really.
SCENE: Final good-byes
English:
MISTY: Guess I’ll be going this way. ASH: Yeah. MISTY: Take care, Ash. ASH: Mmm-hmm. You too, Misty. MISTY: Will I...see you again? ASH: You will - I swear! BROCK: HOLD EVERYTHING! ASH: What’s gotten into you, Brock? BROCK: Actually, I also have to go back home right away. I got an e-mail saying I had to go back and take care of some errands and stuff, and I almost forgot. ASH: How could you forget something like that? BROCK: Ah, I’m not sure exactly. MISTY: Maybe because you didn’t want to leave? BROCK: Probably. MISTY: I know, Brock. I understand. (Transition) BROCK: Well, I guess this is where we all split up. MISTY: Are you sure you’ll be OK without me, Ash? ASH: I’ll be fine. BROCK: See ya, then. MISTY: Buh-bye... ASH: So long...Misty, thank you...and Brock, I know there’s no way I could’ve ever - BROCK: ...Go on. MISTY: If you have something to say, Ash, then say it. BROCK: Yeah, we’re all ears. ASH: WHA!? Why you creeping up on me like that!? BROCK: Sorry. I forgot to give this to you. ASH: Uh...? BROCK: Something to eat. A lunch-box picnic. With matching cutlery! MISTY: And this - makes it easier to carry. ASH: Misty...you guys... MISTY: Here. ASH: (Tearing up) I guess you guys should go now, huh? MISTY: OK. Take care. BROCK: We’ll miss you. MISTY: Well, Ash Ketchum - finally, I know how you feel about me. BROCK: It must be the onion making my eyes water... ASH: Thank you, Misty - and Brock - I’ll miss you!
Original:
KASUMI: Well, I'm going this way. Take care of yourself. SATOSHI: You too, Kasumi. KASUMI: We'll see each other again?" (NOTE: The subtitles have this down as a statement, but the performance suggests a question; I went with the performance.) SATOSHI: One day, I'm sure! TAKESHI: AAAAAUUUGH! I JUST REMEMBERED! SATOSHI: What’s up with you, Takeshi? TAKESHI: I actually have to go home, too. With all this, I forgot that I had received a letter from my father asking me to come home. SATOSHI: Why didn't you say so before!? TAKESHI: I'd forgotten about it. KASUMI: You managed to forget something like that!? TAKESHI: Perhaps. KASUMI: I see. I understand, Takeshi. (Transition) TAKESHI: Alright Satoshi, we're going. KASUMI: I won't be here to worry about you anymore. SATOSHI: I'll be fine, I tell you. TAKESHI: See you soon! KASUMI: Goodbye! SATOSHI: Thank you, Kasumi...Takeshi...because you were there, I... TAKESHI: You...? KASUMI: If you have something to say, it's now or never. TAKESHI: We're here, we're listening. SATOSHI: You haven't left yet!? TAKESHI: I forgot to give you this. A bento box you can eat, and the cutlery to go with it. KASUMI: Take this to pack it in. SATOSHI: Kasumi...Takeshi... KASUMI: Here. SATOSHI: ...Go on, get going, both of you! KASUMI: See you, Satoshi! TAKESHI: Take care. KASUMI: I understand how you feel, Satoshi. (NOTE: This line could either mean the same thing as the dub - in other words, “I understand how you feel about me” - or it could have a more general meaning of “I understand how you’re feeling about us splitting up.” It isn’t clear, from context or from performance, which is the case. If I had to guess, I’d say the latter is the safer bet, given what the other two say as they go on their separate paths.) TAKESHI: I put too many onions in the onigiri... SATOSHI: Thank you, Kasumi...Takeshi...thank you!
ANY DIFFERENCES? Not really, but if you ever watch this scene in Japanese, be prepared to feel it; Rica Matsumoto sounds as if she actually broke down crying on that final line.)

Fighting For You [1/?] sasusaku
Summary: They were from different worlds. They were both interested, but knew a relationship between them was less than likely to happen, even if they both wanted it. Sasuke's profession was dangerous, and Sakura was sheltered. Her parents' did not approve of him. Slowly though, feelings started to take root and both of them were willing to fight for each other.
Genre: Romance / Humor
Rating: M
A/N: Cheers to another collaboration! Co-written with @ss-tyytyy she will be posting it on her FFnet, while I will be posting it here on tumblr. Enjoy!
The smell of coffee and pancakes, the feel of plush seats, and the sound of her best friend talking her ear off was exactly what she needed this Saturday morning. She absentmindedly picked up a strawberry and took a bite, closed her eyes and relished in its sweet and tangy flavor. A sound of gratification escaped her throat.
“Forehead, are you even listening to me?”
Still floating on cloud nine, Sakura nodded and giggled. “I really needed this day off, Pig.”
“You really need to ease up on your studying.” Ino huffed. “You go stating medical journals on the importance of sleep and a proper diet yet here you are,” she waved her hands in the air, “It’s summer and you still won’t let yourself sleep in!”
Sakura had been working and studying her ass off in medical school. For the longest time, she was running on nothing but cups of Ninbucks and pre-packed cookies. It was hell, but she knew it would be worth it. Now that it was finally summer break, her mother was able to get a favor in the city’s best hospital. She was privileged enough to shadow Tsunade, a famous surgeon, for three months. She was only supposed to come in three times a week, but she couldn’t let the opportunity pass when Tsunade offered her more exposure.
It meant more work hours in the hospital, and less time to see Ino. She knew her best friends’ complaints were valid. It was annoying, but Ino meant well. “Alright, alright.”
She crossed her arms across her chest. “And you ditch me on weekends for that added Scribe work of yours in the hospital. Can’t I live and see my hopeless best friend once in a while?”
She rolled her green eyes but couldn’t help but smile. She really was hopeless at times, and she often did skip out their Saturday brunch dates. But Sakura just couldn’t help herself. She liked to help people and keep herself busy.
“This is why you’re still single.”
“Hey!” That was below the belt. “You’re single, too!”
Ino held her head high and announced, “Not for long, I won’t be.”
The pinkette’s jaw dropped. “You’re seeing someone?”
The blonde winked. “You bet. And he’s so hot.”
Sakura squinted her eyes. Something didn’t feel right. “What are you up to, Pig?”
Her friend gasped and feigned shock. “Whatever do you mean? I’m simply stating that I have met someone I like.”
Unlike Sakura, Ino had it easy when it came to attracting guys. They always just seemed to fall at her feet, and are always instantly wrapped around her manicured fingers. She was happy for Ino, but when was it her turn to have luck with love?
“I know!” Ino exclaimed, her blue eyes sparkling at her epiphany. “Come with me tonight. Let’s watch his fight!”
“Fight?” She blinked a few times and squinted her eyes. Ino looked so smug and it irritated her so much that Sakura wanted to throw a used tissue at her but restrained herself.
“Yes, Forehead. Fight. He’s an MMA fighter.” She said proudly. “I’ll have you know, he’s undefeated and just in his prime!”
The pinkette scrunched her nose and leaned back on her seat. Standing with a crowd of loud, and sweaty people while watching two even sweatier guys beat each other to a pulp did not sound like how Sakura wanted to spend her evening. Plus, her parents may not even let her go. It would be far too dangerous for her to be in a place like that.
Ino glared. “Don’t give me that look.”
Sakura laughed nervously and looked away. “I just remembered, I have a dinner to attend tonight.” she lied.
“No,” Ino slapped her hand on the table and leaned forward. “you don’t.”
There was no use lying to Ino. To anyone, actually. Sakura sucked at lying. She chewed on her lower lip and counted how many escape routes she could take--none.
The pathway that Ino lead her through to their seats was dark, and dingy. But the light ahead the hallway, and the low rumbling of a cheering crowd slowly crept up towards her. As they reached the end of the hallway, the bright lights temporarily blinded her, and the full force of the cheering crowds resonated within her body. Slowly, she opened her eyes and look in the sight. She could see the ring at eye level. She followed close behind Ino until they got to their seats which happened to be on the front row. Looking to her left and right, she was sitting with some of the sponsors.
“Best seats in the house!” Ino cheered. She elbowed her friend and grinned. “Told ya this guy likes me.”
Sakura rolled her eyes and settled on to her seat. The first round already started.
There were two guys in the ring. One wore orange shorts, and had a shock of blond hair. The other wore red shorts, and had brown hair.
Ino pointed to the blond. “That’s Naruto!” She then placed her hands on either side of her lips and shouted, “You go, Naruto! Beat Kiba’s ass!” She then proceeded to pumping her fist up in the air to cheer for him.
Naruto. Sakura repeated the name in her head. It was a funny name. Wasn’t that something you placed in Ramen?
After a few more minutes of cheering, all of Ino’s enthusiasm was starting to rub off on her. She couldn’t help but watch Naruto grapple with the other fighter in the ring. She had to hand it to him, he was pretty good. Both fighters had rough and aggressive fighting tactics. But Naruto was quicker and stronger. The fight lasted three rounds, and the decision was announced. Naruto won. Again.
Loud cheers erupted from the crowd, and Sakura found herself cheering alongside her best friend. There was something about Naruto that she instantly liked. Maybe it was his sunny smile and disposition that made her grow fond of him. Even after being beat up, and his face was surely going to bruise, he was still wearing the widest and brightest smile.
The two girls watched a big man with wild, white hair usher him out of the ring. After a few minutes, the crowd started to settle down, and so did the two girls.
The next fight was about to begin.
Sakura watched excitedly as the next fighters entered the stadium. There were large screens that showed them on their way. The first man looked undeniably scary. His music and even the crew that walked in with him left her feeling anxious. Though for some reason, Sakura had never felt such a thrill.
“We’re going to go backstage and see Naruto, but I know his best friend is fighting this guy here so I didn't want to miss it.”
Sakura nodded at Ino’s words though she was quite enthralled with this whole fighting thing. The next fighter started entering the stadium just after the first one got inside the octagon.
Eyes glued to the screen, Sakura was on the edge of her seat as she took in the guy entering. He was much younger than the man he would be fighting but it was obvious that he was fired up just by the way he bounced around on his way towards the octagon.
His face was almost too beautiful for him to be a fighter. Someone punching that face would be a disgrace. His dark eyes and ebony hair pulled her in and when he took his shirt off and stepped inside the octagon her body temperature spiked.
She had never seen such a beautiful male specimen in her life. His body was so strong and muscular, though not nearly as bulky as his opponents’. Sakura found herself clenching her fists in fear as she watched and listened to the announcements before the fight would commence.
As excited as she was, Sakura was certain she couldn't watch that beautiful creature take a beating- and his opponent was a beast.
However, she couldn't look away for even an instant. Not even after the two of them touched gloves and backed up just as the round started. There was never a time that Sakura could remember feeling the nervousness that she felt at this moment. Her interest overwhelmed her worry though, because that guy was hot and he didn’t appear worried in the least.
He was the epitome of composed confidence as his fist raised in a defensive motion, just as the older man came charging at him like a bull. Sakura leaned back in her seat, cringing just as the man swung, knowing full well this younger guy was about to take a slug to the face that would knock him two weeks into the future.
She couldn’t believe it when the younger guy dodged the hit effortlessly before he countered with a strong left hook that sent his opponent straight on his back. A squeal escaped her, all else forgotten as she stood on her feet and watched the guy take a mount, the roar of the crowd deafening as he started raining down punches, though the man was knocked unconscious after the second hit.
He was several hits in before the referee stepped in and stopped the fight. Sakura was jumping up and down with excitement. She’d never felt such a thrill as this. Her cheeks were flushed and the brightest of smiles adorned her face as she watched him hold up his arms in victory. It was amazing, exhilarating, breathtaking. This guy was something else. She was most certainly a fan.
“Are you excited because he’d such a badass, or because he’s hot?” Ino questioned her with a smug smirk and Sakura calmed down instantly, blushing furiously in embarrassment.
Maybe she had gotten a tad bit over-excited. “Don’t be ridiculous. You know I hate violence.”
Ino laughed. “Says the girl who punched someone last week to get the last pair of heels.”
Sakura huffed and crossed her arms across her chest. “Whatever. Are we done here?”
Her best friend rolled her eyes and stood up from her seat. “We’re going backstage.” She fished out two IDs and gave one to Sakura. “If we’re lucky, you’ll get to meet Sasuke.”
Sakura felt her cheeks heat up. As much as she didn’t want to weave around the crowd, the possibility of meeting the fighter excited her. But of course, she wasn’t going to let Ino see that.
“Sure. Whatever,” she said with as much boredom in her tone that she could muster. “I’m much more interested in meeting this Naruto person. You must really like him.”
“You’re such a horrible liar,” Ino said. “But yes, I do like him. And I’m sure you will, too.” She grinned.
Sakura held on to her best friend’s hand like a child afraid of losing their mother in a crowded mall. It was all too overwhelming. The people backstage ranged from fighters, medics, media personnel, sponsors, and rabid fans. She caught on little bits of conversation here and there. The pinkette was straining to hear a medic’s conversation about another fighter’s current condition, but she was interrupted when Ino’s hand was forced out of hers.
“Ino-chan!”
“Naruto!” She watched the blond engulf her in a giant hug. He lifted her off her feet, earning a squeal from her.
“I’m glad you came!” He put her down and flashed her a wide grin, showing off a perfect set of white teeth. He had already been patched up. There was a large bandage on his left cheek.
It was easy for Sakura to see why her best friend was smitten. This guy was the personification of the Sun. He had such a warm aura, and his personality just drew everybody in. His bright blue eyes and tan skin complimented each other well. His body was fit, and muscular, too. Just Ino’s type.
“Of course! And I brought Sakura, too.” Ino pulled her arm and dragged her closer to Naruto.
She looked up at him, and offered him a warm smile. “Hi there.”
“Oh! You’re Sakura-chan,” Naruto said, and grinned. “You’re a lot cuter than I expected.” He laughed.
Sakura felt her face color, as Ino joined in laughing with Naruto.
“Hey, we watched Sasuke’s fight, too.”
“Oh yeah? Heh. That bastard’s getting better each time.”
“Can we meet him?” Ino asked.
“Ah, yeah. Sure. Hold on a sec, let me find him.”
Naruto vanished momentarily, though the two girls followed him with their eyes. Sasuke had been just behind a small crowd of people, with his crew and his manager. Naruto pulled him away easily and Sasuke came along though he didn’t appear happy about it. He was rolling his eyes at Naruto just before he was pulled up close to the girls and his eyes met Sakura’s.
Those dark eyes of his were nearly smoldering as he stared into her emeralds. Her breath caught in her throat at that instant and she felt her knees tremble slightly as his eyes trailed over her as if to examine every inch of her. She shuddered when his eyes found hers once more and the fact that he hadn’t spared Ino a single glance hadn’t gone unnoticed to her.
“Teme, stop staring like that!” Naruto exclaimed. “Stop being such a douchebag.”
“Tch. Just wondering what all the fuss was about,” Sasuke grumbled.
Naruto pursed his lips and gave him the stink eye. “Yeah right, bastard. Anyway!” He instantly perked up. “This is Ino-chan,” he gestured towards the blond, “and Sakura-chan.”
As soon as Naruto shifted his gaze over to Sakura, Sasuke’s dark eyes followed. The pinkette felt her heart skip as Sasuke landed his gaze on her yet again.
“Enjoy the fight?” He asked Sakura directly, a sly smirk on his lips.
“I think she enjoyed more than just the fight,” Ino teased, as she eyed her friend.
Naruto grinned slyly. “Ah, is that so?”
Sakura flailed her arms around. “I liked the music, too! So entertaining.” she rambled on. She needed to save her dignity, because honestly, Ino was not going to do that for her anytime soon.
Sasuke’s smirk only turned more smug as he watched her until a man appeared, dropping a hand on Sasuke’s shoulder and drawing his attention. The man with the spiky white hair glanced at the girls briefly before looking at Naruto.
“Sorry, but you’ll have to excuse Sasuke.” He said simply and without another word, Sasuke walked away with him.
Ino scoffed. “That’s it? No ‘bye’ or ‘nice to meet you’?” She placed her hands on her hips. “What an asshole.” She turned to face Sakura. “I don’t like him.”
Sakura looked at Ino. She recognized the fire in the blond’s eyes. It screamed, ‘you’re too good for him, so forget it.’ And maybe… she was right. Ino always had good intuition, and she had far more experience with boys than she did. Sakura trusted Ino with her life, but that didn’t ease the dull pain she felt in her chest knowing that this handsome boy was instantly denied to her.
“Sorry about Sasuke.” Naruto laughed nervously. “He can be a jerk, but he’s a real softie, ya know?”
That made Sakura feel a little better, but the hard stare and the way Ino huffed watered it down for her. “Whatever,” Ino said.
“Naruto,” A man approached the blond and gave the girls a wide grin. He was tall, and had wild, white hair. “Sorry to disturb you and your fans.” He grinned until his eyes disappeared. “And oh my, aren’t they cute.”
The two girls laughed nervously, not wanting to be rude. Sakura recognized him as the same man who ushered Naruto out of the octagon after his fight.
“Stop being such a pervert, you old man!” Naruto yelled. “You’ll creep them out.”
He feigned shock and innocence. “Nothing of the sort!” His voice boomed. “I was just giving them a compliment--” he made a move to reach out and grab Sakura’s hand, but he was pulled away by Naruto. Who then proceeded to drag him away and towards the exit.
“Sorry, Ino-chan, but I have to go!” He laughed. “See ya around, Sakura-chan!”
The two girls stood there and waved, still trying to process what had happened. Everything was still so new to Sakura, and very much overwhelming. She scanned the crowd again, and noticed that it was starting to thin. Ino was talking to her. She could see her lips move, but Sakura didn’t listen to any of it. She let Ino grab a hold of her hand and pull her out of the stadium.
She couldn’t stop thinking about the fight. How calm and confident Sasuke was. How dangerous his profession is. Her brows furrowed together. She hated the probability of seeing him at the hospital, being rushed to the ER. It was bad enough that his face was too handsome to receive a hit. She shook her head to clear it.
These guys were professionals. They know what they’re doing, and they train for these things. There was no need to worry. Why was she even worrying? She didn’t even know him.
“Earth to Sakura!” Ino flicked her forehead, which caused her to take a step back.
“Ouch! Stop it!” Sakura complained.
“Finally!” Ino rolled her eyes. “Have you been listening to me?”
Sakura laughed and gave her best friend a sheepish look.
“Come sleep over my place? We haven’t done that in like, forever.”
She nodded her head and laughed. A night with Ino was sure to make her forget all her worries, and the events that transpired that night. Kami knows she didn’t need another sleepless night. “Sure, just let me call my mom.”
Their sleepover was filled with fun stories, sweets, and a whole lot of laughs. Neither of them even mentioned the boys, or the fight, which brought a lot of relief to the pinkette. However that night when she closed her eyes, she dreamed of a boy with dark hair and eyes.

Things to Know Before Travelling to Japan for the First Time.
I can close my eyes and picture myself standing awestruck on the fascinatingly busy Shibuya crossing in Tokyo. Gaping at the dazzling lights, fancy skyscrapers and scores of businessmen darting about in dark suits. I was travelling to Japan for the first time, and it was my first day in Tokyo. In equal parts, I felt excited, intrigued and apprehensive, recalling all the Japan travel tips I’d read online. I had dreamt about Japan for so long, but now that I was finally here, I couldn’t help but wonder what spending an entire month exploring the country would be like.
In the months since I left Japan, I faced a strange melancholy… and a barrage of reader questions. Many of you reached out to me to ask, “When is the best time to visit Japan?” “Is the Japan Rail pass worth it?” “Do they speak in English in Japan?” “How to survive as a vegetarian / vegan in Japan?” “Do you have any Japan travel tips?”
I’ve finally put together this post to answer all your questions about travelling to Japan for the first time – including visas, flights, where to go, what to eat and how to stay connected.

How to score a Japan tourist visa on an Indian passport?
Boarding a ferry to Yakushima island in Japan.
Until 2016, it was a pain to get a Japan tourist visa for Indians. We had to get an invitation letter from a sponsor in Japan and go through a tedious application process.
Luckily, the Japan visa requirements for Indians have finally been relaxed. Although a Japan visa on arrival for Indian citizens is still a distant dream, the Japan visa application now takes only 4 working days to be processed, without the need for a sponsor. The application must be filed at VFS Japan – the official visa application centre for the Japan Embassy in India. The process is similar to the Schengen visa application, with return flights, accommodation bookings, and bank statements needed to score the visa.
While travelling to Japan for the first time, I received a single-entry Japan visa on my Indian passport. It allowed me to stay in the country for 30 days. I was given 2.5 months from the application date to use it.
Japan Travel Tips: How to apply for a Japan tourist visa on an Indian passport
When is the best time to go to Japan?
Surprised and lucky to catch the cherry blossom in Japan.
Most people tend to plan their trip during the much-anticipated cherry blossom season in Japan. It’s a beautiful time, but it’s also when Japan tends to get the most crowded and expensive.
I landed up in Japan in early March 2018 and stayed exactly a month. Although Honshu, the main island home to Tokyo and Kyoto, was quite chilly, I enjoyed the quiet shoulder season. And I got a chance to catch the Ume – plum blossom – almost as beautiful as the cherry blossom yet somehow more introspective. I then headed south to Kyushu Island, which was warmer, with many offbeat places to explore.
Cherry blossom time in Japan
Japan travel tips: Avoid the busy cherry blossom season in Japan!
My plan was to leave just before the cherry blossom began in Japan. But as luck (and climate change) would have it, the cherry trees bloomed early that year!
One of my most important Japan travel tips – even if you’re travelling to Japan for the first time – is don’t be hell bent on seeing the cherry blossom. Nature won’t time itself according to our dates. And Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka are seriously crowded during that time. There is so much more to Japan that I highly recommend visiting in late winter, autumn or early summer.
Cheapest time to visit Japan / low season in Japan
I witnessed accommodation prices in Tokyo skyrocketing and availability falling drastically between the beginning (winter) and end (spring) of my trip. It gets exorbitantly expensive in Japan in spring and I was forced to downgrade myself from a charming ryokan (traditional inn) to a pod hostel to financially survive the last few days of my trip. Autumn and summer are fairly popular too. That leaves winter as the low season.
If you enjoy winter, prepare to be spellbound as popular cities turn into winter wonderlands from November to February. With heating indoors, good clothes, few tourists and relatively low prices, it’ll be quite a delight.
Best time to visit japan weather wise
Early spring and late autumn are beautiful and wonderfully warm across the country. They aren’t the busiest, especially away from the main cities.

What to pack for Japan
A rainy, misty morning in Nikko.
What you pack for Japan totally depends on when you travel there. And where you plan to go. If you’re travelling to Japan for the first time, chances are, you’ll spend time on Honshu, exploring Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. The island distinctly experiences all four seasons – and can get very hot or very cold, even in spring or autumn.
Among my Japan travel tips, I always say pack in layers. Carry clothes that you can add on or remove. In my bags, I always have warm inner wear, t-shirts / tops, a couple of sweaters, a rain jacket and a light winter jacket. If you’re travelling in winter, definitely carry warm socks, boots and a real winter jacket. As someone who tries to avoid wool and down feathers for ethical reasons, I recommend the synthetic fabric jackets at Decathalon and those made with recycled plastic at Save the Duck.
Essentials to pack for Japan:
Towel: I was surprised to find out that most accommodations in Japan don’t offer towels! If they do, you have to rent them at an additional cost. Definitely carry your own.
Adapter: I used my universal travel adapter that works pretty much everywhere around the world, including Japan.

How to access the internet in Japan?
Sunset madness in Fukuoka.
Japan is the land of modern technology and high speed internet. But it comes at quite a cost. Outside of the big cities and train stations, Wifi is not as readily available as I’d hoped. And yet I found it important to have internet in Japan to use Google Maps, Google Translate and other apps to make life easier – especially since I was travelling in Japan for the first time.
Airtel international roaming plans for Japan
Before I began collaborating with Airtel last year, I had no idea it was actually possible to buy an international roaming plan for Japan. Compared to SIM card costs in Japan, the offers looks very promising (and is valid across 82 countries):
1 GB data with 100 minutes of incoming and outgoing calls – valid for 30 days – costs INR 1199. Data usage can be tracked on the Airtel App.
1 GB data per day with unlimited incoming calls and 500 minutes of outgoing calls – valid for 10 days – costs INR 4999 (coming soon).
Local sim card in Japan
Japan is probably one of the most expensive countries when it comes to buying a local SIM card! Mine cost 6000 yen (INR 3850) for 1 GB for a month – data only. The other option was 7000 yen (INR 4500) for 200 MB/day. Local SIM cards are available at international airports and 7-11s across the country.
Wifi in Japan
Many accommodations and restaurants in Tokyo offer fast and free Wifi. But unfortunately, Wifi availability steadily decreases as you to head to the countryside.

Japan is a huge country and it can be quite overwhelming to figure out where to go! I spent the first week in the city on assignment for Japan Tourism Board. We explored the Kantou region of Honshu, including Tokyo, Matsumoto, Nagano and Nikko. After that, my partner and I spent two weeks travelling south to Fukuoka and Hiroshima on Kyushu island, and then all the way to Yakushima island. And I spent the last week exploring more of the Honshu countryside and a bit of Kyoto on my own.
If you’re travelling to Japan for the first time, I recommend splitting your time between the popular cities and getting a glimpse of offbeat Japan:
First time in Tokyo
I stayed in three different areas of Tokyo, and most enjoyed the vibe of the Asakusa neighborhood. It retains the old world charm of the city with old Buddhist temples, little shops, a walkway along the river and charming sushi bars and izakayas (local bars). It’s also home to the stunning 14th century Sensoji temple – Tokyo’s oldest. I remember hanging out there late at night, when the crowds were gone, and witnessing breathtaking “sakura rain” on the way back. Oh how I miss Japan!
First time in Kyoto
I unintentionally hit Kyoto during the cherry blossom season – and must confess it was way too touristy for my liking. I borrowed my host’s bicycle for beautiful early morning rides to some parks and temples. But the overtourism thereafter killed the vibe. I imagine it must be a delight in winter though.
First time in Osaka
Osaka is just a short train ride from Kyoto – and a regular Japanese city without much of the old-world charm. I’d suggest picking one of Kyoto or Osaka – if at all, for your first time in Japan. I hopped over to Osaka for a vegan cooking lesson, based on macrobiotics and yin and yang principles, with a local Japanese family – and it was definitely one of the highlights of my trip!
Offbeat places to visit in Japan
Outside of the cherry blossom season, you are unlikely to encounter the crowds of Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka anywhere else in Japan. Places like Nara, Nagano, Hiroshima and Matsumoto, though not offbeat, are beautiful enough to spend a while getting into the Japan vibe while still having access to the comforts of tourism. Some people speak English, restaurants have English menus and there are plenty of accommodations to choose from.
If you really want to stray off the beaten path, head south. Some places I loved:
Aso: A little town in Kyushu, home to Mount Aso, an active volcano and plenty of hiking nearby.
Kurokawa: A charming onsen town, literally home to tens of onsens (Japanese baths). Some in the mountains, some in the forest, one even under a waterfall!
Yakushima: A difficult and expensive island to get to, but one of the last remaining truly wild frontiers of Japan. Great for hiking and moss forests.
Kambayashi: A region on the countryside of the Kyoto prefecture, home to charming little villages and slow life.

Where to stay in Japan
Staying at a 100-year-old Hakata townhouse in Fukuoka.
Airbnb, my favorite go-to platform for unique accommodations, is complicated in Japan. After a government crackdown, only places with a tourism license are allowed to rent on Airbnb. And only for 180 days of the year. This might make sense in tackling overtourism in places like Kyoto, but is a lost opportunity for the less-explored countryside villages.
Anyway, travelling to Japan for the first time, I relied mostly on booking.com and direct google search to find traditional ryokans, small B&BS, guesthouses, hostel pods and homestays.
Important Japan travel tip: Most accommodations allow check-in only after 4 pm and expect check-out by 10 am. This is to allow for their rigorous cleaning schedule!
Accommodations to try if you’re travelling to Japan for the first time
Ryokan: Traditional Japanese inns, typically home to tatami (woven straw) flooring with futon bedding and an onsen (hot spring bath). Here you indulge in a Japenese bath, then settle in for a lavish Japanese meal. If you afford it, I recommend splurging on atleast one ryokan experience while you’re in Japan! I tried mine as part of the JNTO assignment in Nikko.
Homestay / small guesthouse: We stayed in small guesthouses and homestays across the country. These typically had shared (but extremely clean) bathrooms and comfy DIY futon bedding on tatami floors. Most of our hosts were really friendly and even invited us to local events or secret hideouts nearby.
Hostel pod: I was nearby broke on my last transit through Tokyo, and decided to stay in a pod hostel is Asakusa. The walls were thin, but the beds comfy enough for a good night’s sleep!
My favorite accommodations in Japan
Guest House Asora in Aso: A simple guesthouse with a great location in Aso town and a sweet owner who invited us to a local fire festival.
Satoyama Guest House Couture in Ayabe: Run by the sweetest young Japanese host who reminded me of a typical Murakami character!
Heartland House in Yakushima: A family-run guesthouse on the island, hosted by a friendly couple. They speak very little English though.
Harborside Guest House Minato in Fukuoka: A restored Hakata townhouse dating back a 100 years, managed by a friendly host.
Bunka Hostel Tokyo: Budget bunk bed pods in the hip Asakusa neighborhood of Tokyo.

How expensive is Japan?
A yam-based vegan meal in Japan.
I hate to break it to you, but compared to most places in the world, Japan is expensive. Getting a local SIM, accommodation even in guesthouses / hostels, public transport, even food, can be a bit of a shock to the wallet, especially when you’re travelling to Japan for the first time.
Average costs in Japan
Hostels: ~INR 2000 for a bunk bed in a dorm in Tokyo.
Guesthouses: ~INR 3500 for a double room with shared bathroom
Food: ~INR 1000 – 3000 for a local meal in a small restaurant or izakaya
Transport: ~INR 8000+ for a 2-3 hour bullet train ride, like Tokyo to Kyoto or Tokyo to Nara.
Travel tips to experience Japan on a budget
Book early. Especially if you’re travelling in the spring or autumn, book accommodations atleast a few weeks in advance to be able to choose from a diverse range of options.
Get a Japan Rail Pass or regional travel pass. If you plan to travel by train a few times, definitely look at investing in a Japan Rail Pass or regional train / bus pass. Individual tickets cost an arm and a leg!
Use buses to get around locally. Unfortunately the JR Pass doesn’t cover travel within cities / towns. Opt for buses. It took me a while to figure out the bus system. Basically you get on, take a ticket from the machine, notice the number on it, notice the number you get off at and pay accordingly.
Stay longer in one place. Even if you’re travelling to Japan for the first time, fight the FOMO and include only a few destinations on your trip. That way, you can save transport costs, avail long stay rates and immerse deeper in the local culture.
Eat at supermarkets. Sounds like one of those Japan travel tips you don’t want to follow, but even supermarket food in Japan is high quality! And there are some vegan options available. Ask the staff to help translate ingredients if google translate doesn’t work.
Visit the local tourist information. Many places offer travel bundles, combining transport and some sightseeing. The local tourist office is the best place to find out.

Do they speak English in Japan?
Japan travel tips: Learn some basic Japanese phrases before you arrive in Japan.
Within Tokyo and Kyoto, you’re likely to find English speakers at accommodations and restaurants frequented by travellers. But beyond that, most locals tend to speak very little English. Which is great, because Japanese is a beautiful language and it’s fun to attempt to learn atleast a little bit.
Before travelling to Japan for the first time, I learnt a few basic Japanese phrases through a podcast. That, mixed with google translate, broken English and sign language, made it easy enough to get by. Besides, Japanese people are so friendly and kind that no language barrier could stop them from helping you out.
Japanese words to know, especially if you’re travelling in Japan for the first time
Konnichiwa – Hello, good day
Konbanwa – Good evening, good night
Arigatou gozaimas – Thank you very much
Sumima sen – I’m sorry or excuse me (also used to call the staff at a restaurant)
Kudasai – Please
Matane – See you later
Watashi wa began / bejetarian des – I’m vegan / vegetarian (though it might not mean anything to most people)
Ita daki mas – Said before eating, similar to bon appetite. Literally, it is a way to thank the animals that’ve given their soul for your meal.
Wakarima sen – I don’t understand
O genki des – How are you? (formal)
Genki – How are you (informal)
Oishikatta des – It was delicious (say it after a meal you enjoyed)
Kanpaai – Cheers
Best podcast to learn Japanese
I learnt basic Japanese phrases on the Japanese Survival Phrases podcast, available on iOS and Android. The podcast is recorded by a Japanese woman, which makes it easy to learn the diction without a foreign accent.

Is the Japan Rail Pass worth it?
Japan travel tips: Invest in a Japan Rail Pass!
Every time I got into a shinkansen (bullet train) in Japan, I felt like I was flying business class instead of rolling on ordinary railway lines! The Japan Rail Pass is a physical train pass, only available for tourists, that offers unlimited rides on most trains across Japan for a fixed number of days.
Priced between INR 18,000 – 36,300 (265 – 535 US$) for 7, 14 or 21 days, it’s probably the biggest travel cost you’ll incur in Japan. And yet, if you spend a week or less in Japan and do only the return Tokyo-Kyoto-Tokyo train journey, the Japan Rail Pass for 7 days is already worth it. The individual Tokyo-Kyoto journey costs 13,000 Yen (INR 8300 or 115$) one way!
If you plan to explore only one specific region of Japan – for instance, Kyushu island – you could also consider buying a regional train pass.

How to survive as a vegan in Japan?
Vegan in Japan – sounds difficult but it’s full of good surprises (mostly)
While travelling in Japan for the first time, I was surprised to learn that during the Edo period, the traditional Japanese diet was largely plant-based and meat-free! Both Buddhism and Shintoism, practiced for centuries across Japan, promote compassionate eating. And many Japanese rulers had banned the rearing of cattle and consumption of meat, because they couldn’t afford to lose more forests to animal agriculture. Unfortunately things changed during the late 1800s and veganism became an alien concept.
All these years later, as a vegan traveller, I felt spoilt for choice in the popular tourist cities of Tokyo and Kyoto. The HappyCow app is full of vegan friendly spots to try. But beyond, in smaller towns and villages on the countryside, surviving as a vegan or vegetarian requires a bit more effort. What really helped me was a note in the Kanji script explaining I’m vegan and what I can’t AND can eat. Overall, from vegan bento boxes to shojin ryori to incredible tofu and yam based meals, I mostly thrived!

What is the best travel insurance for Japan?
Japan travel tips: Japan is expensive. Opt for a good travel insurance!
Instead of opting for Indian travel insurance plans that are often cheaper but a pain to claim funds from, I usually opt for World Nomads travel insurance while travelling in extremely expensive countries. And so it was in Japan. Better safe than sorry!

Is Japan safe?
A rare glimpse of Mount Fuji in Japan.
Japan is one of the world’s safest countries to travel in. I walked the streets of Tokyo alone at midnight (akin to some of Murakami’s famous characters), without a care in the world. I took trains and buses by myself, rode a bicycle through small villages, stayed in local homestays, and never once felt concerned for my safety! The lack of crime and the general friendliness of Japanese people sets a true benchmark for safety.
Coronavirus in Japan
The unfortunate spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus around the world has made many people reconsider their travel plans. But I guess the sad truth is that we are as susceptible to contracting it at home, as in Japan. If you have a trip lined up to Japan, don’t cancel just yet. Follow updates closely, avoid areas with cases, and remember that Japan is a huge country and most parts, like in India and the US, are corona-free.

What are some Japanese etiquette for tourists?
Vegan sushi in Japan = happiness.
Before travelling to Japan for the first time, I was a bit apprehensive about all the intricacies of Japanese etiquette and customs that I had read about online! Much to my relief, a lot of it applies to business travellers in formal settings. The locals are quite relaxed when it comes to travellers. Still, here are a few basic Japanese etiquette for tourists that you should consider:
Japanese people are extremely polite. Learning and using words like “arigatou gozaimas” and “sumimasen” go a long way.
In Japan, people frown upon eating or smoking while walking! If you’re eating a bento box or snack outdoors, grab a bench.
Learn to use chopsticks! I was really surprised to learn that locals eat sushi by hand… but for everything else, you need chopsticks. Know never to point your chopsticks at someone, poke food with them or pass food around with them.
Don’t leave a tip. Japan is probably the only country in the world where it’s disrespectful to leave a tip after your meal, because good service shouldn’t be driven by the promise a monetary reward!
Be a mindful traveller. Don’t be loud on trains or buses. Don’t jump queues. Clean up after yourself, especially in public spaces and shared accommodation areas.
Is Japan among your dream destinations? What else would you like to know / share about travelling to Japan for the first time?

RE :: AIZEN vs MADARA
a major breakdown. get your snacks ready ppl
read if you are really bored lmao its fucking long
psa don't mix your personal biased based off of something that should solely be factual and unbiased but whatever to each their own, right?
lol okay before i begin this i just wanna say that i have zero knowledge on aizen’s abilities yet since all i know so far is that he disappeared up into the sky with the blind dude and gin but whatever. this is mostly concerning how the post made madara, kaguya and whatnot appear as though they were weak by giving FACTS and counter examples that ARE NOT BASED OFF OF MY own biased opinion to prove otherwise.
i am gonna go in order in which everything was presented in the original post otherwise everything will be all over the place lol. i am so tired
Okay well they started off with the fandom and presented this hilarious pic (honestly i am wheezing save me)
im not even gonna lie, this does seem like the case with the multiple switch of protagonist, but each one of them was opening for the opportunity to a higher power. in part one of naruto, it would have been safe to assume that orochimaru was going to be the whole series main villain. i mean, it was partially true since he was for the majority of the first part but i just want to say this
THE SERIES ‘NARUTO’ WAS ABOUT THE STRUGGLES THAT NARUTO HAD TO ENDURE TO ACHIEVE HIS DREAM.
lmao the series starts off with him shouting ‘I AM GONNA BECOME HOKAGE, BELIEVE IT!!’ bam. thats it. thats literally fucking it to the series. its just about naruto becoming strong and mature throughout the series to become hokage.
with that, through a person’s whole life, you don’t only face one struggle and that’s it. the series was about his life and yeah, physical people were his ‘struggles’ in a sense but that was to him to become stronger. so its only fair that through his life, he faces a series of people who challenges his strength and all this other shit.
like if i remember the series correctly the order of people that he had to face to become stronger was :: literally his whole entire village, mizuki, zabuza, the sound nin during the chunin exams, fucking gaara, orochimaru, sound four, kurama, the whole akatsuki so thats like seven to ten people arguably, then here’s where it becomes complicated nagato, obito, madara and then kaguya.
i took out zetsu because he posed no direct threat to naruto.
so if you are going criticize a series for not having a solid villain, then don’t bring in other alternatives to come up with a solution as to who and why that person is the main villain. idk did that make sense?
get my point with this? ultimately, the purpose of the series isn’t made to have a ‘main’ villain because all the ‘villains’ had a key role to play in naruto’s growth.
fight me.
also, i am going to just throw this out there right now before i continue- don’t crossover the series to fit your bias!!! lmao okay lets continue
the second point that was mentioned was a joke post that was mentioned for shits and giggles and then taken too far by this person.
so here is the source to the following pic
gotta admit, thats actually very fucking funny if you ask me. lmao but anyway BESIDES THE POINT !!!!!!!!!!
let me quote something properly for one “Naruto Chapter 679 - [...] This is the chapter where Madara swells, blows up, and literally disappears from the main story altogether. Yes, it is that chapter.”
let me just point out the fact that this person claimed to be in the naruto fandom but yet they fail to understand the true events of that chapter.
so essentially this is what happens. to a regular person, it does seem as though madara did in fact swell up and die but that wasn't the case.
let me give you a little context to this. THE madara uchiha had the ten tail, which was a combination of all the tailed beasts in one within himself. so he’s like naruto, he's a jinchuriki of ONE OF THE STRONGEST FORCES in their universe. the ten tails is everything tbh so its hella powerful.
ONE. SINGLE. MAN. was able to live and still be able to maintain his own psyche without the ten tails taking over. that alone should be evidence enough that madara is powerful but whatever lets continue.
anyway, he didn’t ‘swell up and disappear’ he expanded because his physical body could handle the extra chakra that was release in him, which happened to be kaguya. so the ten tails was kaguya all along but her powers was finally release, thus exerting a large amount of force/power so madara just morphed into kaguya. in a way???
look at the top left panel with sakura. if you can't read it she is saying “he shrunk down” hence his body compressing into kaguya’s figure, and in the following panel, you see kaguya, she finally makes her debut.
see? look at that, she’s so beautiful. ANYWAY. so yeah. madara didn’t just disappear, he body was just consumed by the power from within and that ‘true power’ took shape. like he was a dummy but it all worked out for kaguya’s debut.
they then proceed to mention that..... this event is what killed madara, which is true, but not exactly. its a little but more than just that simple. even the strongest person or shinobi can’t survive the extraction of a tailed beast. no one. any one of the nine tailed beast could kill someone with the strongest life force after no more than a short time after its extraction but madara managed to die shortly after the TEN TAILS was extracted from his body. (again the ten tails is one of the strongest forces in the naruto universe, so thats saying something but whatever) IRRELEVANT. I GUESS??
MOVING ON !!!
“Another comment even brings up Aizen mindfucking with ‘Shatter, Kyouka Suigetsu’; all the Naruto world is merely an illusion created by Aizen. The second comment dismisses the Naruto world as a joke created by Aizen on a whim. However, what is more interesting is the first comment, where Kaguya (the antagonist who killed the previous antagonist Madara within seconds) is placed on the same level as Hinamori Momo (a character who is often associated with getting stabbed by Aizen). Placing Kaguya (who killed Madara) on the same level as Hinamori SAYS SOMETHING.”
so i am going to merge two of their points into one major point to get my point across.
there’s that quote, then there this one: “In comparison with Kishimoto who never (or rarely if you are desperate) refers to Madara as God, KUBO EVIDENTLY DESIGNATES AIZEN AS GOD. There is an entire series of chapters named Deicide, which means Killing God, or much more like Soul Society’s attempts to kill God. Ichimaru Gin’s Bankai, which’s sole purpose is to kill Aizen, is appropriately named Kamishini no Yari, the God-Killing Spear. Yet again in Chapter 617, Kubo titles it RETURN OF THE GOD, complete with Aizen’s image above it. Aizen is never called ‘God of ‘*Something*’, as opposed to how Yoruchi is the God of Flash, Baraggan is the God of Hueco Mundo, or Juhabach is the God of Quincies/Christians. For Aizen, it is purely God. (and God of Trolls does not count FYI because it is not a named element in Bleach). In contrast, Kishimoto has not even given Madara the title of ‘God of Shinobi’. That title is reserved for Hashirama, Hiruzen, and Hagoromo.”
now i am going to rant a little more. those two arguments are a little reaching, wouldn’t you think?
so back with the ‘theory’ that the naruto is merely an illusion created by aizen. lets see, as far as i know, kyouka suigetsu had the ability of ‘near flawless illusions’ non? wanna know who is the daddy of a lot of the current uchiha abilities? madara fucking uchiha. the sharingan wasn’t mentioned, why? oh yes, thats right. because the sharingan is NOTORIOUS for genjutsu. (fancy word for saying the art of illusions lmao) so a counter argument to the one where the naruto universe was an illusion made by aizen on a ‘whim’ would be that the bleach universe was made by literally A N Y person who is able to preform any genjutsu. that’s right. not just madara is able to preform ‘illusions’ but so is his whole clan and anyone who can do genjutsus. so that means that... a hella weak person, who has a basic grasp of genjutsu could come up with the bleach universe FOR FUN!!!!!!! that shouldn’t have even been a valid argument but whatever.
going with the first quote, (trying to destroy the kaguya argument) you shouldn’t be relying on a made up theory to demean characters. i can assure you that kaguya is NOT on the same level as hinamori. that argument was a stretch.
in the naruto series, kaguya is LITERALLY a god. there’s no denying it. she’s a god. kaguya is a god. one of the highest powers in the whole naruto universe because that’s how high you can be in it because nothing can surpass a god. she is. a. god. well goddess because she's a female but you get my point. so being compared to a god is literally the shit. there’s no fooling around with it. like you're powerful af if you get compare to a fucking god.
anyway, moving into the second quote. i am pretty certain that madara was never referred as a god, but i do believe he was referred as possessing ‘god-like abilities’ (by all means, with anything that i have to state, or have previously stated, feel free to correct me if i am wrong) as for aizen. there is a difference to being MADE OUT as a god and BEING a god.
being made out to be a god is just being super fucking powerful and practically unbeatable.
while being a god is literally, by definition, a god.
i found it where madara was said to have god-like abilities:
right side, fourth panel down, it says “...the power... of a god...” there. course was chapter 560 of the naruto series. wanna know the following chapter’s name? it’s called “the power in a name” while chapter 560 was simply called “Madara Uchiha”
yes, with the fact that were stated, aizen was in fact made out to be a god. guess what? aizen is NOT a god, though. there are references that aizen was made out to be a god, same goes for madara. (directly and indirectly)
the naruto universe and the bleach universe are both very distinct and very different. with the point mention that its basically insignificant to be ruled as the “god of ‘something’” in the bleach universe, it is something to take seriously in the naruto universe. that’s the major difference that also shouldn't be viewed as a valid argument. some things were just viewed differently.
titles are just thrown around in the bleach universe like how oetsu is titled as “god of the sword” but does that make him a legitimate god? no. just ‘ruler’ over it. just like how in the naruto universe being titled at “the god of shinobi” doesn't make that person a legitimate god, but literally almost god like.
again -
KAGUYA IS A LEGITIMATE GOD!!
wanna know who’s a god in the bleach universe?
the soul king.
ANYWAY......
MOVING ON !!!
“Madara is basically written out “just like any other Uchiha, only more powerful” even before he gets any development as a person. He is EXPECTED to be powerful, aggressive, dangerous, vengeful, the founder of Sasuke’s and Itachi’s clan, etc. [...] Death (after a long line of supposed deaths) becomes the end of Madara’s story.”
F A L S E !!! I MEAN ISH AT LEAST
there are four characters of the uchiha in which you have an insight of their past/backstory. let me list them and tell you how there backstories came about.
madara - energetic little kid who worked for a better world and worked to become stronger and achieved most of his strength by stealing his brother’s eyes
obito - literally a dumbass who got crushed by a boulder and taken in by madara when madara was an old man, and gives obit his powers through the gedo statue
sasuke - family killed by his brother and who’s goal was to become strong enough to kill said brother
itachi - literally hailed a prodigy, strong ass mother fucker and killed his clan and just rolled over and let his brother kill him bc he his illness killed him, not actually sasuke
now tell me the similarities between all these uchiha boys to make madara “just like any other uchiha”.... can't? good because all characters are different, but anyway.... the reason why madara was “only more powerful” was because at that time, he was the ONLY ONE who had awakened his eternal mangekyou sharingan after stealing his brothers after his death. he possessed all of these powers that no one had seen before. but whatever, right?
he was never credited for being the founder of the uchiha clan, but founder of konoha along side hashirama. unless he was somewhere, which i don't this he was though.... he was simply a legendary leader as i recall.
---
look, i am not trying to say that madara is stronger than aizen and that he could beat him (actually.... look at everything i stated, he is fucking strong but whatever) but there’s just too many differences between the two universes to even make a safe decision.
idk i am sticking with n/a - not applicable for who would win between madara and aizen
okay, off to sleep
i feel so bad if u read this. how bored were u?
#(( I JUST NEED TO GET THIS OFF MY CHEST#i was so angry lmao ))#「 ☣ 」❛ LONG POST.#「 ☣ 」❛ OUT OF CHARACTER#TBD.

“Come on Hinata, get up!”
Hinata lay flat on the ground for what felt like the 100th time. Sasuke had yet again found an opening and knocked her to the ground.
“Sasuke don't you think you're being too harsh -” She heard Naruto protest.
“She has to learn-”
“But this is just torture.” Sakura interjected.
Hinata pushed herself slowly up off the grass to standing.
“Good.” Sasuke smirked at her, “Again?”
Hinata nodded her head in response and they both moved into their stance. In an instant Sasuke was in front of her again and they were back to sparring. She was able to block his first and second attempts but Sasuke was much faster than her and with the many hits she'd already taken this morning she was feeling disorientated. Feeling his kick to her side Hinata fell to the ground letting out a squeal of pain.
“That's it!” Naruto stood in front of Hinata, shielding her from Sasuke's sight, “Enough! Can't you see you've hurting her.” He shouted.
“I'm not trying to hurt her, I'm training her. Something Hinata is more than aware of if you just open your eyes.”
“How? You're beating her to the ground not teaching her anything!”
“Hinata is learning from her mistakes and if you and everyone else stands in her way and protects her she'll never learn! Look at her Naruto, she's not as delicate as you think!” Naruto looked behind him to see Hinata standing yet again, she had a busted lip and was clutching her left side but her face showed her determination.
“She's a trained shinobi, just like you and me so give her the respect she deserves to prove to you and herself she can do this. How many times have we been beaten to the ground? And how many times did that beating make us stronger?” Sasuke urged his friend. “You think I want to hurt her on purpose? I'm teaching her her limits!”
Naruto glanced from Sasuke to Hinata still unsure of what to do. His gut was telling him to listen to Sasuke, he had a very valid point after all, but his heart hated to see a friend in pain.
“Naruto-Kun, please.” Hinata asked him quietly, “I'm ok I promise. Sasuke is right I need to figure this out.” She smiled at him softly. Hearing Hinata call him Naruto-Kun once more broke the fight within him. She hadn't called him that since they arrived back to the village after the war, he hoped it was a sign they were friends once again. Not that they'd ever stopped being friends, but with Hinata distancing herself since their return from the battlefield it had felt like they'd lost Hinata as well as Neji. So reluctantly he went to stand by Sakura again, giving one of his dearest friends the chance to prove herself like she so desperately wanted.
“Ready?” Sasuke asked Hinata.
“I'm ready.” Hinata told him and stood in her stance once again. As they came together Hinata felt more determined than her previous attempts. Sasuke had faith in her to figure out how to improve and with stand his attacks, so she should have faith in her own abilities too. Yes he was much stronger but Hinata was smaller meaning she could be faster than him, she just had to push herself like Sasuke said.
Hinata could barely move, her whole body ached, bruises scattered all up her arms and legs; some more fresh than others. For a whole week Sasuke had pushed her during training, each morning they would spar till Hinata could take no more. As the week progressed she had noticed she was becoming faster and able to read his moves more clearly; however Sasuke was still a formidable opponent, he was still able to win each spar but not as easily as he had at the beginning of the week.
Easing herself out of bed she gingerly made her way around her bedroom. A warm shower would ease her body at least for a little while, she thought to herself as she quickly dressed. There was no point in having a long shower or washing her hair after all, a training session with Sasuke is likely to make her sweat from ever pore.
While brushing her hair, after having a quick shower, Hinata walked to the window and smiled seeing the sun low in the sky to welcome her as her day started. Seeing a figure move at the corner of her eye, she looked away from the sun and watched as Sasuke began to warm up in the garden. Hinata couldn't fathom how Sasuke had so much endurance and resilience to pain, her body was crying in pain after each session, and Sasuke would just continue sparing by himself or with Naruto. And here he was again, waking before anyone else to train.
Seeing this resolve to still become strong, even though he was known as one of the strongest shinobi in the world still, Hinata turned from the window with determination in her steps. She would become just as strong, with or without anyone's help just as Sasuke had. She would train with or without someone else; just as Sasuke had.
Heading out the house and in to the garden where Sasuke was Hinata quickly braided her hair while she watched Sasuke continue his warm up. He knew she was there, she hadn't exactly hidden her arrival after all.
“We're going to be doing something different today.” Sasuke told her, his voice was still gruff from the early morning Hinata noted. “We're going to meditate.”
“Meditate?” Hinata questioned, how would that help her become strong?
“It's important to rest as well as train.” Sasuke explained, “However this meditation will be different. I've been researching on your Byakugan; it's strengths and weaknesses. You have many abilities at your disposal for one-on-one attacks at closer range. But few I have come across are able to attack a group of enemies at once. If you do as I say maybe we could rectify that.”
“I will do all I can to become stronger, so people will acknowledge I don't need to be protected.” Sasuke smirked at her words and nodded his head in agreement.
“You know how to meditate?”
“Of course.” Hinata answered confidently.
Sitting herself on the ground Hinata crossed her legs and closed her eyes.
“Now listen to nature around you, feel it, become one with it.” Sasuke's voice spoke above her. Forcing herself to take a deep breath she tried to relax herself. She listened. She waited. And... nothing. Instead her mind filled with random thoughts; 'really need a trip to hot spring, then I can relax my aching muscles in the hot water.' She could just imagine herself submerged in the water and...No! Hinata thought to herself, I can't think of that right now! Shaking her head in the hopes of clearing away her scattered thoughts, she tried again, this time urging herself to listen. However her subconscious mind had other ideas and random thoughts, musing and questions bombarded Hinata one after another.
“Harder than you think isn't it?” Sasuke spoke causing Hinata to open her eyes. Sasuke was sat on the ground at the base of a near by tree and told her to come and sit by him and they can try again.
“First of all you need to take this off.” Sasuke pointed to her purple and cream jacket.
“B-But I..I...” Hinata couldn't bring herself to talk she was so nervous. Her purple jacket was like a comfort blanket to a baby. Her jacket hid her, let her not feel self-conscious about her body. She had always felt her body was too curvy, her hips too wide, her breasts too big. Why couldn't she have a body like Ino's or Tenten's?
Sasuke sighed at her reluctance and took a step towards her. Hinata's eyes widened as Sasuke took hold of the zip on her jacket and began pulling it down slowly.
“How do you expect to become one with nature when you can't feel it?” Sasuke asked her. Hinata gripped Sasuke's wrists stopping his movements any further as his fingers (although still on the zip) were about to travel down her cleavage.
“I-I am very capable of undressing myself.” She couldn't help but stammer.
Sasuke removed his fingers and as Hinata took over undoing her jacket he moved behind her and began to unravel her hair.
“You're too...restricted and stiff.” Sasuke spoke behind her, “Typical Hyuga.” He teased her trying to ease some of her tension. “Your jacket.”
Hinata let out a breath that shook with her nervousness, her jacket was now undone but her hands gripped on to either side wrapping it around herself still.
“Hinata?” Sasuke questioned. Moving in front of her again he took in her reluctance and the fear in her eyes. “You can do this, it's just a jacket. It's just you and me. I promise this will make you stronger.” He spoke calmly to her.
The breeze rustled Hinata's long hair making it swish and flick with the winds power now it was free to move. Noticing Hinata closing her eyes and moving her head to a different angle to feel the wind on her face, Sasuke began to talk again. “You feel that?” He asked her, “The wind gliding through you hair, feel it's force, it's power against your face. That's what all this is about.” Hinata nodded her head at his words and calmed herself. Sasuke probably thought she was being ridiculous clinging to her jacket like this, she thought to herself. She told him only 15 minutes ago she would do all she could to become stronger and here she was at the first hurdle stumbling. Letting go of all reluctance Hinata took her jacket off and threw it on to the ground.
Feeling self-conscious at the fact she was now showing her black crop top and sports bra Hinata tried to cover her stomach by crossing her arms over her waist. Sasuke rolled his eyes at her but otherwise didn't comment on the fact and gestured with his hands for them both to sit down at the base of the tree.
“Let's start with the basics.” Sasuke suggested, “First close your eyes and allow your mind to go blank.” Hinata did as he asked, but making her mind go blank was the issue though. Hinata shook her as if that would help her to think of nothing. “Ok, ok stop, what's that about?” Hinata's eyes opened and looked to Sasuke smirking at her.
“My mind won't go blank, it won't...let me.” She tried to explain.
“I see, so that's why women never shut up.”
“Sasuke!” Hinata could tell he was being playful and teasing so leaned over and shoved him, not hard but enough to rock him sideways.
Hearing Sasuke chuckle beside her Hinata folded her arms in an attempt to look annoyed, but he knew her too well to know she wasn't offended in any way. Sasuke asked her to try again, which she did and for a while she felt her head clear.
“I see what you're doing wrong you're not breathing right.” Sasuke explained.
“I seem to be quite alive and well so how am I breathing wrong?”
“Such a smart arse now Hyuga.” He smiled at her. He asked her to sit in front of him so he could show her because explaining it to her obviously wasn't working.
“No, back towards me.” Hinata looked questionably at Sasuke but did as he asked. She could help the little 'eep' escape when she felt his hands on her hips as he pulled her back so her back was pressed up against his chest and stomach. He then kept one hand on her hip and the other he rested on her stomach.
“Can you feel the pace of my breathing?” Sasuke whispered against her neck. Hinata's eyes closed at the sensation of feeling his breath tickling the side of her neck making goosebumps appear and her body involuntarily shiver. “That as I inhale my stomach expands and when I exhale my stomach goes flat.” Hinata could only nod her head, yes she could feel it! She could also feel the muscles on his chest she thought to herself. “Now you try do it with me.” Hinata willed herself to just concentrate on Sasuke's breathing pattern and on nothing else, not his scent, not his tickling breath and certainly not his hand on her bare stomach. After a couple of shaky breaths soon she was able to breath along him, they were at one with each other.
“Good. Now, feel nature.” Sasuke moved the hand he had resting on her hip and interlocked her hand with his with her palm facing down. He guided her hand to the grass where he slowly moved it from side to side so she could feel each and every strand. “Feel the earth's energy, how each blade of grass moves.” Sasuke's voice seemed so far away now, but she was amazed to find that she now understood Sasuke's words. She could feel it, not just because she was physically touching the grass but there was something deeper there. She could feel an energy, almost like each glade of grass was it's own being. The energy had been hidden from her because she'd never taken the time to just sit and listen.
Next he slowly turned her hand and pulled her arm up above their heads and glided her hand down the rough bark of the tree behind them. In this position Hinata was now lent right back against Sasuke with his hand still on her stomach seemingly pushing her into him all the more. There was no words needed now between them, she could feel nature around her as Sasuke had wanted. She could hear the scurry of a beetles feet making its way up the tree, in the woods the sounds of an animal moving away leaves on the ground and birds in the sky flapping their wings as they searched for prey.
“Hi-nata!” A broken female voice called out. Hinata's concentration on meditating and Sasuke broke the second she heard the voice. Leaping up, with an enormous smile on her face Hinata quickly activated her Byakugan. She couldn't control her excitement at seeing her little sister alive and well running up the deserted streets of the Uchiha district.
Not being able to stand the wait any longer she ran in the direction of the gates to the mansion, Sasuke right on her heels calling after her. Each sister let out their out a squeal of excitement as they both saw one another face to face as they rounded a corner of the wall surrounding the mansion.
“Hanabi.” Hinata whispered. She'd been trying not to think of the dangers, if a puppet might be out to catch Hanabi too as she was called back from her first mission. She'd been praying to all the Gods just in case one wouldn't hear her plea to bring all Hyuga back from their missions safe and selfishly (Hinata thought) she prayed most of all for Hanabi's safe arrival. Hinata promised with herself she would visit the Hyuga temple and thank any God who would listen!
In her moment of sure relief at seeing Hanabi Hinata had stopped running, Hanabi however was running towards her still. Knowing exactly what Hanabi was planning on doing Hinata held out her arms and caught Hanabi as she jumped at her, from the force of the jump and Hanabi's speed Hinata went falling to the ground. But the Hyuga sisters clung on to one another as if they hadn't felt the earth, they were together again and that's all that mattered.
“Oh I've missed you so much-”
“Me too-”
“You're never going away on a mission again-”
“I have to if I want to be strong like you-”
“No I can't loose you. Are you hurt?” Hinata gripped Hanabi's arms to push her back so she could get a closer look at her, “Did anything happen on your way back? Where were you?-”
“Which question do you want me to answer first?” Hanabi giggled. “I'm not hurt, but if you keep squeezing me so tight then that might change.” She teased.
Sasuke kept to himself the rest of the day, allowing the two Hyuga sisters to catch up in private. He knew Hinata's chakra signature now like the back of his hand so at all times he was able to sense her now meaning just because he was ordered to protect her, didn't mean he had to be by her side 24/7.
While Hinata spoke with Hanabi, Sasuke was able to do some more research on helping Hinata. He had come realise last week the amount of guilt Hinata carried around with her. He felt he was probably one of (if not the only person) in the village who knew what it was like to feel guilty about killing a beloved sibling. However, in Hinata's case it truly wasn't her fault! He'd read many reports on how Neji had died thanks to Naruto bringing them back with him from the achieve in the Hokage tower. Naruto had also told him what Neji had told him before he passed away too. Sasuke just had to figure out a way to make Hinata understand that she had no reason to feel guilty.
For Hinata to become stronger, not just physically but mentally too he had to make her see she wasn't guilty of anything. If it wasn't for the threat of this 'master' the puppet spoke about Sasuke could find a way in his own time and there wouldn't be such a rush. Especially now he knew for certain the 'master' only wanted Hinata. For if they were after the Byakugan, then logic plan would have been to attack the weakest of the Hyuga. Hanabi is the youngest a Genin and only on her first mission; a mission she has returned from unscratched with no dangerous encounters to speak of. Nothing was seemingly out to get her or her Byakugan. Yes, Sasuke was 100% certain the 'master' wanted Hinata. But what this 'master' had failed to factor in to their plan was him. He was her protection detail now an order given to him by Kakashi his Hokage (not that he needed the order!) and he will be there for Hinata, supporting her and aiding her every step of the way.
Sasuke lay in bed with his eyes closed waiting for the sweet allure of sleep to take him, when he heard a heart wrenching scream coming from Hinata's bedroom. In a second he was pulling open his door and running down the corridor as fast as his legs would allow him. Bursting in to her bedroom he took in the cleanliness of the room and no sign of an intruder. What he did see, was Hinata thrashing about in the bed crying out in pain at the top of her lungs.
Cursing to himself Sasuke covered the gap between them and tried to pin her arms down to stop them from hitting herself, instead her back arched off the bed so high Sasuke was worried she might break in two. Straddling her and keeping her arms flat on the bed at the side of her head Sasuke leaned down and tried to coax her out of her nightmare, through her screaming though she was unable to hear.
“Come on Hyuga! - wake up!” He shouted frantically.
Hinata suddenly stopped all her movements and at the same time drew a loud in take of breath, like she'd been drowning under water and coming up for air. Even in the dark, in the middle of the night he could still make out her eyes bursting open, the pain from the nightmare flooding in to them and then the tears pouring uncontrollably down her face.
Ever so gently he moved to her side and pulled her in to his arms allowing her to cry on him. He tried to sooth her by trailing circles on her back, desperately wanting to tell her she was ok but it was clear she wasn't. So instead he told her he was here, he'd always be here for her and he wouldn't go anywhere until she asked him too. As he'd said about leaving he felt Hinata grip on to his shirt tighter, telling him without words she didn't want him to go.
After an hour or so Hinata's crying died down to hiccups and sobs. He moved on to his side so he was able to see her face once more. What he saw made his heart throb even harder, he hated to see her in so much pain especially when she didn't need to be.
“Talk to me, Hinata.” He urged her, “Was this about Neji?” He felt her nod and bury her head back to his chest. “I hope you don't mind but I've read up about what happened.” He spoke gently to her while cuddling her tighter. “From everything I've read and heard Neji blocked that attack by choice because he cared for you. What happened isn't your fault-”
“It is! He wouldn't have-” Hinata lifted her head towards him.
“No it isn't!” Sasuke told her more sternly, looking at her in the eyes. “You never asked him to jump in front of that attack. He did so on his own free will because he didn't want to see you die.” He could feel her crying against him again and he hated that what he was saying was making her do so, but he knew he had to carry on. “When I spoke to Naruto about what happened, he told me your words saved him that day. That if it wasn't for you he would have followed Obito. That you made him realise that not only did he see everyone as his comrade and didn't want them to die, Neji and everyone else believed in those words too. Neji believed in them so much he willingly died for you. Hinata, don't disrespect his sacrifice for you by living your life in the past and letting it go by. It's not your fault, you know.”
“I know.” She answered almost automatically.
“No Hinata, you're not listening, it's not your fault.” He repeated.
“I-I know.” Hinata's gaze shifted from his, looking unsure of her own words.
Rolling over so he was now above her on the bed, he looked her directly in the eyes.
“No Hinata,” He tilted her face once more to him, “It's not your fault.”
“Sasuke. Please. Don't-” She tried to move from under him but with him above her she could only wiggle from one side to the other.
“It's not your fault.” He told her more sternly.
“Don’t -” She pleaded at him.
“It's not your fault.”
Hinata began to sob and she flung her arms around his shoulder's pulling him down on top her. With Hinata back in his arms Sasuke lay back on the bed and let Hinata cry it out. He realised that she'd never heard those words before which had all the more firmly established her guilt. He only hoped that hearing them now would allow her to see reason.
He didn't know when he'd fallen asleep, he hadn't meant to at least. But he stirred when he felt the most delicate of kisses on his cheek. In his half asleep state he knew it was Hinata just by the way she smelt and without opening his eyes moved his head to the side and kissed her fore head.
“Thank you.” He heard her whisper, as she lent her head on him and they both drifted to sleep.
