Theresa: I think all of Der Monster Klub is chronically online to some degree, Theresa's no exception. At the same time, she'd be good at hiding it, mainly because then she'd have people from her school finding out about her tumblr.

Levandar: Terminally online, but that's because he more so ego searches and sees what his fans are posting. In turn, he's probably not only seen the deprave stuff his fans would post about himself, but also the other fandoms their in.

Ignoring how busy he is with being a ninja, Randy would probs be online a regular amount. Definitely posts random youtube videos, but he's like,, trying to be youtuber so uploads are sporadic. Also, this boy does touch grass. He seems to want to be active in the social life of high school and that means hanging out in person rather than blogging on tumblr lol

Howard: Same level as Randy, but I can also see this guy trying his hand at streaming. Sporadically does it with no set schedule and it's only ever Randy and a few other people in chat, but like. It's fun. they're teenagers.

Bash: Normal amount? I don't think I have a lot to say on him, really. posts like,, pictures of all the stuff he owns to flex, but that's what any rich teenager would do. Would say something dumb online, but it never really blows out of proportion.

Brent: I think he'd really only post his work. Would occasionally vent too. Blew up at some random person who left a hate comment, making it his sworn duty of the day to make them just as miserable.

Debbie: I think she's not super social and really would keep up with her friends and like, the school accounts. That being said, I can see her running the social media for the news club too, that's where her passion lies afterall. Thinks about making a news/commentary youtube channel, but just doesn't have the time

Marci: I was initially going to put her down as a Facebook mom, and while she does have one, I also see her almost being like one of those Instagram influencer moms too. She does have the status already, so I think it would just come naturally to her. Thankfully, because she's already rich, she wouldn't try shilling you an MLM. Def follows her son on social media, but doesn't comment because Bash said it's embarrassing.

Flute Girl: Tumblr user, but not in trenches, you know? Runs several aesthetic blogs for each of her interests, but actually is sane enough to just block and move on. Could also see her writing fanfic, but most of it doesn't get posted because she might be a bit self conscious

P: I think bros neat design wise, so while I don't have many thoughts on him, I wanted to include him lol

Plop Plop: if this guy had social media, I think he'd be into the DIY stuff, for some reason? Never really posting his own tutorials, but always there to comment and help others out on forums

Rachel: Normal amount. Pinterest board game goes CRAZY. One of those cute aesthetic tumblrs, but genuinely a nice person. Avoids drama at all costs

Doug: Get the vibe his parents would restrict internet access. That being said, could also see him on Reddit, so..?

McFist: I don't think he would use social but instead pay someone to post McFist posts both for himself and his businesses. Does not understand it and is a very busy man.

Slimovitz: Just has a Facebook. Reposts minion memes and cat photos. He used to post about his car, but then a student found it and turned it into a meme showing the before and after of it's destruction one day. He put a ban on phones for a bit. They never found the culprit.

Bucky: Also probably had restricted internet for a while. Interested in getting a social media, but they say he has to be above 16. I imagine he'd actually want to post band videos, though, so that'd be nice

Jacques: He does have parkour videos, but I don't think he actually likes talking online. Touches grass.

Sorceress: I think she'd be on social media like any "teen" would, but I don't think she'd get it. Posts selfies, but also doesn't really post them enough

Viceroy: I just imagine this guy goes on engineering or science related forums and solves problems, but he'd like,, also be the dude that would message the answer directly to the initial poster so when you find the forum 10 years later for your very specific problem, the answer isn't there. Could also be on tumblr to and while he says he's above it, would start shit online (or at the very least keep tabs on it to watch from afar).

Juggo: I can't see him on social media, but like,, frequent poster in clown related forums and accounts? Would answer weird clown trivia questions and is a respectable member in the historical clown community.

McAffee: Business has a Facebook that hasn't been updated for several years because he keeps forgetting about it. Also would occasionally post on youtube, but I feel he really shines nestled deep within the comments of a random youtube video he got mad at. The comment was about how the Star Wars prequels suck and by the 100th comment, it's moved onto furry discourse.

Morgan: I think she lurks more than anything. Her account has nothing and if you ever see her, it's one of the other members of dancing fish posting and her showing up in the video (I also think I just make Morgan more mysterious than she actually is lol)

Why did you choose your url? - It first started as "thescrumptiousbookstuffs" cause I really like books but I never really have the time to actually write a proper review of books (or even read nowadays). And then I decided the whole name was too long, and I basically shorten it into the current moniker. Cause I thought, hey - BL boys are scrumptious too 😁

Any sideblogs? - If you have them, name them and why do you have them - I just started one but there is nothing posted on it. I called it "just writing" cause it will likely be my random thoughts that I will keep private

How long have you been on tumblr? - Since 2010 (I think) but for the longest time, it was empty where I will occasionally reblog random things. I only started to become active in during COVID lockdown

Do you have a queue tag? - Nah, I cannot be bothered. I usually just post it immediately.

Why did you start your blog in the first place - COVID lockdown means I was oscillating between depression and boredom. Apart from work (which was exhausting cause I worked in the medical field and during lockdown, I don't have to tell you want that means), I was pretty much isolated from my closest friends and family (as they all live in a different country altogether). So, tumblr allowed me to browse through my interest (mainly BTS and BL)

Why did you choose your icon/pff? - Erm, FK owns my soul. Hehe...They are my children/babies and I will defend them till the end of time.

Why did you choose your header? - I change this every few months. The most recent one is a photo I took when I went travelling to the Southern part of New Zealand (my other interest apart from BL/BTS is to take beautiful photographs of nature)

What's your post with the most notes? - I think it is the Wandee Goodday cast dressing up (and having fun) during Pride Month. I guess seeing Podd in drag is a highlight for everyone lol

I did some blog housekeeping today as I've been taking a little breather from my convention activities~

I added a few silly rp specific tags for castmates and this blog's Shitpost Lore TM. They're in the pinned now.

I also updated a few of my rules. To summarize:

Most important one: since I've been writing more about Artemis' backstory lately, I've revised the tw list on this blog to include domestic violence and past csa. Artemis is a csa survivor. I had intended to be fairly vague about that on this blog since it's such a commonly intense trigger for people (and I probably still will be), but unexpectedly a bunch of you have actually shown interest in learning more about this obscure little man?? Which is delightful to me, but now I want to warn more thoroughly about what's really going on with him, particularly if you guys wanna read any of the books :') I love you, thank you for your enthusiasm and be safe.

In practice, I've tended to flop between just regular text or -1 text in threads just mirroring whatever my partner is using, so I made a note about that as a stylistic choice. I think I'm also just gonna go Fuck It and start writing OOC and headcanon posts in regular text too from now on because it drives me nuts how often I switch on that front LMAO

Since the Legend of Drizzt fandom on tumblr is so small and chill, I don't mind if non-rp blogs follow me or even chat with me in ims or on out of character posts about the series. My only request is that you don't reblog any of my rp threads because it just messes up notifications for me and my writing partner. Other than that… I love you, tiny Drizzt fandom. So like, basically the blog is kind of Dead Dove-y and black humor geared since there's Horrors™ and the go-to method for coping with Horrors™ in this joint is goofs. There'll be talk of stalking, voyuerism, psychological torture, murder, death, cannibalism, mental health, psychosis, the mistreatment of the mentally ill, revenge, supernatural horror, humanistic horror, weird conflations of fear,sex and violence, and just kinda generally illegal or douchey activity. I try to tag things but pobody's nerfect so if you're following understand you're taking your own comfort into your own hands. Josh can be kinda crude and flirtatious. His jokes definitely aren't for everyone and he tends to be pretty flirty just to be funny. It's not mandatory to reciprocate his flirtation or like his humor. If your muse is consistent with telling him they don't like it he will stop/adjust. I will not however, tone down his overall issues with not knowing when it's appropriate to say what since that's just one of his flaws/issues he's dealing with. So while he might not make sex jokes around or flirt with your muse he'll still probably say cringe shit.

I do not have schizophrenia or any kind of schizo-effective disorder. I do tend to go with the theory that Josh has schizophrenia as opposed to having withdraw based hallucinations. I try to research and write shit related to these topics the best as I can and not fall into any unsavory stereotypes but I'm also just some fucking guy so if you see anything that should be corrected lemme know! I only ask for some grace since I'm writing an anti-hero/anti-villain in a horror setting which might send us into unpleasant places related to this topic that necessitate ya know, Bad Stuff, and balancing it all out can be whack.

🎃 Some changes coming to this blog 🎃

TL;DR Summary: You might notice me branching out into new topics or areas of interest now that I'm no longer writing TVD fanfiction. The overall vibe of this blog might alter a little. Although, I'll still be fall & autumn posting until the day I die and well into the afterlife if there is one. Things leaving: TVD fanfiction, my personal fanfiction, vampire stuff unless I feel like talking about them. Things possibly being introduced: More shitposting, mental illness related posts about my feelings on stuff, art maybe??? A journal on my adventures in lucid dreaming, shifting, and astral projection????* *That might turn into a whole new blog tbh. I don't know if any of my followers would enjoy listening to me babble about weird dream crap.

So! I've kind of run out of steam when it comes to writing fanfiction for TVD. Netflix eradicating the show from their streaming services kind of slammed down the final coffin nail on my muse, so to speak, & I was really bummed when I found out yesterday. This blog started out as a TVD/Originals sanctuary for me, after all... But it's grown into something more now. It's become a place where I can express feelings & thoughts that I've had hiding inside me but never felt safe enough to say out loud. And I've had so much fun with Autumn aesthetics; turning this blog into a Fall paradise has improved my mood in so many ways! Whenever I'm depressed, I just look at my blog and imagine that I'm relaxing in my pumpkin patch, far away from the noise and troubles of the world. & I've also made a couple of friends along the way here! Looking at you guys: @king-yandere and @margueritetheduchess05💖

The question remains, however. If I won't be writing about vampires anymore, then where do I go from here? What should I do? It's a solid fact that I go insane if I'm not actively engaging with my creativity in some way. Last night, the only thing I did was brainstorm, and stress myself out trying to think of SOMETHING. Today, I think I finally have a game plan. so lemme lay it out for you. Or rather, me. A LOT of effort, time, and research goes into fanfic that readers will never know about... 🎃 It's already been there on the periphery but I think this blog might just turn into my main shitposting/journal outlet for talking about my mundane experiences. Mental illness, funny thoughts, & feelings that visit my brain every day. If I can somehow get my "art brain" to work again, I might post art here, idk. 🎃 I'm a spiritual hoe. I love talking about witchcraft, tarot, and lucid dreaming but I'm not really sure this blog is where I should talk about that stuff. I have @flowercrone for all my tarot/PAC readings but I've really REALLY started to take an interest in astral projection, shifting, and lucid dreaming. I even started a journal recently to document all my experiences. I should probably start another blog that's dedicated JUST to shifting and astral projection, idk. Why did you choose your URL?

It's a combination of a couple of old jokes I had from middle school, the older of which was actually kind of a mean thing that I won't get into. However, KanoNavi was the second iteration of my old url FritoNavi, and because it rolled off the tongue better I decided to just switch to that full time.

I've tried sideblogs a couple times in the past, but they never stuck. I prefer to keep everything in one place, even if it means bombarding my non-Genshin mutuals with Genshin all the time (Sorry guys, thanks for sticking with me lol <3)

Before tumblr, I was on DeviantArt to follow Splatoon fanartists, and some of them mentioned having Tumblr so I decided to join that too!

Do you think it’s worth making a jpn studyblr if it’d be mostly reblogs? I don’t have a lot of time to study but I do follow several studyblrs so I come across jp stuff passively in my spare time, and I’m debating just… making a collection, plus whatever random thing I find that is part of my study when I have time or happen to be able to study while I do other things.

I think that it's a great idea! It seems like it'd be an easy place for you to be able to sift through and find what you're looking for when you have the time. Your blog doesn't have to be perfect--it's a place just for you and however you want to manage it is completely up to you. It may be fun to dig through later on when you've reached a certain progress point, too.

When I first started this blog, it was a catch-all. Then it was a sailor moon blog. Then i deleted all of that and dedicated it to be a progress report and me studying towards being a translator. But then i ignored it bc I was actively studying in school. Then I came back to it--but I had no original content; I was only reblogging. And that's fine! Now, I have original content, reblog others, and still shitpost on here, too lol. Everyone's journey in studying (or even maintaining their blogs) are different--none of it has to be linear. You just need to be you.

I can't speak for everybody, but I do think that the ppl I've encountered in the Japanese studyblr community on here are very kind and supportive and willing to share resources.

Since this is mostly my updates blog alongside being for shitposts, let me give you some updates on where to see me perform!

So my next concert is GleamFest on the 11th of March, go watch me do my very first Rawstyle only set there!

Right after that you'll find me (probably) doing a set for Burning Mare's Tales #001, the Hardstyle/Hardcore special! (Tales is also gonna be a monthly thing so you might just spot me there more often trying to dj more genres!)

And after that you'll see me again almost definitely performing for the 2023 Rave for the House of Belles in August, and I can already tell you I got a super exciting tracklist cooking for that!

Oopsie poopsie Riot did a fucky wucky uwu

It's been a bit since I've announced I'm basically quitting League and well... a lot has happened huhn? Between Riot not caring about the start of Season 13 and the OpenGL 1.1 shitshow I feel like I need to talk about the future of this blog.

1. WILL YOU KEEP MAKING D&D 5E CONTENT?

Yes. This is still the main TTRPG system I play and until the open gaming license completely forbids this blog I'll likely keep posting builds here. If OpenGL 1.1 comes out I'll likely be labeling all my builds with #WoTCBad & #OpenDnD for the foreseeable future but this won't impact what I post on this blog. Me boycotting WoTC's D&D branch won't stop me from posting builds with the content I have.

I might transition more into homebrew promotion if 5e's official content proves lazy and shady, but I am hesitant to turn this blog into primarily a homebrew blog if OpenGL 1.1 takes control.

2. WHAT ABOUT OTHER TTRPGS?

I don't know. I don't play other TTRPGs much: I have no interest in Pathfinder which would be the most obvious transition, and other systems would be... odd to move to, especially given the usual IPs I make D&D builds for.

Speaking of which...

3. WILL THERE BE MORE LEAGUE OF LEGENDS CONTENT?

Yes, but I don't see myself having any significant hype for new champions given the state of League after season 12 / moving into season 13. The game is moving in a direction I don't particularly enjoy or have interest in, and it's hard for me to find motivation to make content when I don't like the game. I still love League's characters which is why builds for at least K'Sante are coming but beyond that is up in the air.

3.1. WHAT ABOUT OTHER RIOT GAMES CONTENT?

Oh absolutely! If other games from Riot Games or Riot Forge provide compelling kits for TTRPG characters I may build them. The problem obviously lies both in the games I'm adapting (it's not like I can make much out of Legends of Runeterra) as well as how recognizable the characters are.

I have no interest in Valorant (though I'm not against trying?) so don't expect any Valorant builds. I'd like to stick to the Runeterra IP basically.

4. SO WHAT'S COMING THEN?

Not too sure. Not only did both Riot and WoTC do a fucky wucky, but I'm very busy with my own D&D campaign, a new semester of schooling and just... life? I have a lot less time in a psychology major than I do in my old business major is all I'll say.

I don't hate the current state of Dead by Daylight so I'm willing to provide promotion for that particular skinner box. Beyond that I'm not invested in many other games with the exception of... some...

Maybe I'll try to snag the Cult of the Lamb build before Tulok makes one. Maybe I'll finally go through my back catalogue of one-off builds. Maybe I'll become a filthy DOTA 2 player once again.

Art Summary and Art vs Artist 2022

2022 Art Ramblings and Other Shenanigans:

A.) I am not speed

Whenever artists wanna try something new to improve their art, we tend to make big drastic changes right away. This can be effective for others but not for everyone. As you can see, my art style is still the same as last year with minimal tweaks.

I decided that if I'm gonna make improvements, I'm gonna do it gradually instead of incorporating them all at once. This can be a big help in maintaining consistency. If the changes were small, we can easily remember and apply them on our next artwork.

“So is it effective? Did your art improve?”

It’s barely noticeable but yes it did. I like the direction in which my art progress is currently going. I am at the point where I actually like my finished work more than my sketch. You know that meme where artists like their sketch more than their finished work bec it looks better? I don’t feel like that anymore and that surely tells something haha.

B.) I failed successfully

Last year, I made a pseudo new years' resolution where I said "I hope I can draw my ships, anime and original stuff" since I mostly did Genshin. Well, I successfully drew my ships, anime and original stuff this year HOWEVER I made less videos lol.

I tried doing 1-2 artworks in between videos but sometimes the artwork took me longer to finish so I wasn't able to make video content afterwards. Another thing was the fact that I sorta dedicated some months tryna help save our country but in the end we failed miserably... Anyways! Let's not talk about that here.

Even though I made less videos, I managed to make 2 impactful videos which contributed a lot to my channel's growth this year. One of them is now my most viewed video. 

C.) I wanna delete everything

Checking other artists' IG accounts makes me want to turn my account into an art only account. But then again I know I'll be having the urge to shitpost and post irl stuff every now and then so as much as I wanted to be one of those mysterious artists who only post/talk about their art, I can't lmao. 

I feel like there's a lot of pressure on the artists who only post art related stuff bec people will always be expecting you to post art or even if they don't, you yourself might think they expect you to. And this kinda contributes to being burnt out somehow. 

Whenever I am on the verge of deleting everything (except art) I remind myself that it's fine even if I ain't one of those cool artists accounts. I am human and I do other human activities too besides drawing. It's like taking a breather I guess. 

"Make 2 accounts, one art and one personal"

Not everyone has the capacity to manage 2 accounts in one platform when you’re already managing other accounts on other platforms. Even if you did, most people who followed you for your art won't give a fuck about your personal one which kinda defeats the purpose haha. 

I know this is not applicable to all artists, especially the professionals/veterans. But for hobbyists like me, maybe you should consider this. I am not forcing you to post personal stuff bec I know not everyone likes that. I'm just saying that it's important to emphasize every once in a while to your audience that you are human too and not just an art producing machine. 

D.) I miss time traveling

Long time ago, during my Deviantart days, I used to type a bunch of shit in the description box of my artworks. Then came the Tumblr era where I continued to blog my heart out. When these platforms "died" and Twitter and IG migration happened, I slowly stopped doing this without me noticing it. 

I still say things on Twitter but since there's a limit and making threads is a pain in the ass, I ain't as expressive as before. And these platforms (Twitter and IG) made me adapt to its "culture" of short tweets/captions or sometimes nothing at all, just pictures. Which was great! I mean not everyone needs to know your entire business on the interweb right lol. 

But as time passed by, I began to realize that I love backreading (I dunno if this is the right term) whatever shit I used to talk about in the past. It's actually amusing no matter how cringe, happy or lonely it was. However, since transferring to Twt and IG, I can no longer go back to a certain period in my life to reminisce what the hell I was thinking, doing and feeling that time because I got nothing to backread and that made me kinda sad?

Even though I am still bad with words, I am trying my best to resurrect my old self here in IG (just less cringe and more careful this time). Don’t worry I am not going to make long posts everyday lmao.

True. HOWEVER my future self would and I think that's more important. It's the same as writing in your diary, you write for yourself first and foremost.

“Why don’t you just go back to Tumblr to blog”

My time on Tumblr has passed. Whatever good or bad memories I have there, I just wanna keep them as they are and no longer add some haha. I still love the platform and post my artworks there tho.

Conclusion:

Art progress and channel growth did great this year. Tho I fell short in terms of quantity of my video content, the quality compensated. I am not gonna make any pseudo new year’s resolutions this year. All I can say is I have a lot of ideas and I hope I can execute them.
