Hey! You've mentioned female!SQH in passing a while ago and that concept has been living rent-free in my brain ever since. I'd love to read your thoughts on it if you have more/are interested in sharing. Hope you're having a nice trip! :)

Thank you! I don't have many concrete thoughts on Fem!SQH (or Fem!MBJ or F/F!Moshang for that matter) besides the fact that I would try my best to make it a hot fucking mess. I would probably write it as a cracky one shot and I would want Fem!SQH to cause constant secondhand embarrassment on multiple levels. Not that Airplane Bro as Fem!SQH would be especially oblivious, no, she knows what she's doing and it's hugging thighs, committing crimes, and making other sect leaders walk out of conferences asking themselves if women should really be allowed to cultivate.

I'm exaggerating a little, but also not really. Airplane Bro is wily and genre-savvy and an apathetic bastard, at the same time that he's a clingy idiot who needs to pay more attention to what he's saying, and I resent assumptions that a female character is automatically the one "carrying the braincell". I would want to write something outrageously funny in which Airplane Bro transmigrating into Fem!SQH causes some chaos and gives MBJ even more issues than MBJ already had.

(I'm talking about a Male Airplane Bro transmigrating into a Fem!SQH here because I think a Female Airplane Bro transmigrating into a Fem!SQH sounds a little too OC for me to write that, though a woman writing an incredibly successful stallion novel like PIDW is very fun to think about. Even Airplane Bro growing up as Fem!SQH would inherently shift his character at least slightly, but that would be a firmer base for me to start on and I'm growing more comfortable with the idea. There's lots of room to explore Airplane Bro's relationship to gender and women by having him transmigrate into a female character in his stallion novel world.)

As for the idea of a Fem!SQH in PIDW... the details all depend on what kind of story you want to write. Only changing SQH's gender inherently has very different vibes to doing a full genderbend on the entire cast of PIDW/SVSSS. In a full cast genderbend, I personally don't really see the plot beats of the original SQH changing much. In a SQH-only genderbend, things could stay the same still, but if you wanted to switch it up, I suppose that in PIDW, the premise could instead have been an ambitious Fem!SQH trying to (maybe successfully?) blackmail MBJ into marrying her, but also resenting the necessity of having to marry for power, especially to a demon, and so hating MBJ's guts. Which would be mutual.

Lots of potential themes for a Fem!SQH's storyline in PIDW about how power can be given and taken away, the pros and cons of the legal situation of marriage, the intersection of sex/gender and class, and all sorts of interesting things.

Okay, now that I'm thinking about it, I kind of like the concept of PIDW Fem!SQH blackmailing MBJ into marrying her or something and then PIDW MBJ later on murdering his own wife. That seems sufficiently dark for PIDW. It would also be a stark contrast for PIDW MBJ to be a murderous widower when Luo Bing-Ge has so many wives. Putting Airplane Bro into that particular Fem!SQH situation for the SVSSS version of those events has strong Bluebeard fairy tale vibes. But that's also probably a slightly more serious story than the cracky vibe I was originally envisioning.

Mmm, I don't have any specific thoughts besides that at the moment. It's all fun to think about, though. ❤

ok i've decided i want to infodump about vee and nova a little after all! because uhh not only am i impatient because autism but i also. want to dip my toes into talking about this. just days ago i was still terrified but now i am Tentatively Brave... if i can talk about it here casually like this then i should be able to write a more formal summary later some other time

i've tagged this post appropriately (at least i think i have, feel free to suggest if i should add more) but also a heads up here too before i keep talking that while i'm not going into graphic detail on anything there are STRONG themes of organized sexual abuse of a child, sexual abuse of animals, and grooming! (there are no disturbing visuals in this post, just text)

takes a deep breath alright so the deal with these two. back all the way in 2021, i decided i wanted to make "vent ocs" as in i just wanted some concrete/consistent designs i could use in vent art drawings that weren't a direct reflection of what i envision myself to look like or whatever. i was going through a lot in 2021, in december 2020 i had just gotten my first big repressed memory back and my life was in a whirlwind of change and heavily increased PTSD and DID symptoms, so i was using art a lot as an outlet. in the end i settled on this drawing, based on the design taste i would have had as a young person (god the quality is so old now LOL i've improved a lot but anyway)

i was intending for these two to be just visual designs and nothing more than that but i got attached and actually ended up giving them a whole storyline and everything, which is something i admittedly hadn't done in a long time up to that point so that's cool.

the reason i preface explaining the premise of the storyline with this is because i think it's important to acknowledge that these two are intrinsically tied with my real life and the feelings i experience as a CSA/OA survivor. not because i think someone has to go through awful things to write or draw about them necessarily, but because i am passionate about expressing myself. it's important for me to be seen in some way, to be heard after years of silence. it is not safe for me mentally to share the exact details of my abuse online rn (and please don't ask for them!) but i also don't want these two to be removed from the message that i survived something and this is me making art about that in an abstracted and magical way with a fictional universe that brings me a lot of comfort. i hope this makes sense lol

oh and also with that in mind if you think for even a second any of this is a weird sex thing for me or some shit please stop reading this post and go do something else with your time. this is my trauma expression and i don't need to be compared to the people i was abused by when i was a literal toddler thank you!

AANYWAY so! premise! gonna be point blank with it! vee (not her original name but shh) is born as a normal 100% human girl, aka without the eevee ears and tail. she is groomed from a very young age (like, toddler age) and eventually abducted by her groomers which happen to be members of... well right now it's team rocket because i haven't spent the time to worldbuild a new villainous pokemon organization yet. roll with me here. she is taken to a remote facility out in the middle of fucking nowhere and is never returned to her previous life or family.

Why? well i'm glad you asked! the org is running a bunch of different experiments in this facility and one of them happens to be trying to enable humans reproducing with pokemon. this doubles as both a money thing and a power thing. they seek out a child as the victim of these horrible experiments because children are easily malleable. way easier to control a child than an adult who already has a firm identity/self.

vee is the child they chose. surgery is forcibly done on her to give her working eevee ears and tail, and also like, fuck with her body chemistry and stuff. she's biologically part eevee now. yes this is bullshit pokemon magic science LMAO but she is kept in this facility and chronically sexually abused for a few years by pairing her with various mons and trying to get eggs to happen.

the experiment isn't working though so they hypothesize that giving her a dedicated partner, especially of the same evolutionary line, would help, and they raise nova from birth as an eevee to take on that role. eventually the two of them are paired together. despite the acts they are forced to commit on each other and the abuse they endure, they actually become inseparable very quickly cause like. they don't have anyone else. and also they just genuinely care about each other. additionally at this point nova has evolved into an espeon and has telepathic powers, so him and vee can communicate linguistically with each other, so you know that helps

generally my current focus of this story is in the early years, when vee is 12 and younger, before they start realizing that shit is fucked up and they need to escape (up until that hypothetical point they have been successfully groomed into believing everything happening to them was not abuse/was normal). i have left out a metric fuckton of detail here just to get across the basic premise. i am constantly exploring vee's psyche, nova's psyche, it's like an in depth exploration of the mind of an abused child in horrific circumstances and god it's cathartic. i love these two so fucking much

btw i guess this art has more context now huh haha after i infodumped off the plot to my sister they looked at this art again and was like. OHHH THIS IS EVEN MORE OMINOUS AND HARD TO LOOK AT WITH CONTEXT. AND I WAS LIKE YEAH!!!! YOU SEE THE VISION!!! THE SYMBOLISM!! ETC!!!!

uh yeah if you read this far thank you and i just wanna say i've been building up the courage to talk about these two for GENUINELY two years, it has been over 2 full years since that initial drawing, and i am nervous and jittery posting this but i do not want to die without having shared my work with the world and i'm willing to take the risks to get my voice out there. so you reading it is very much appreciated ur like my first step into being more confident as a survivor lol

Last time I did this tag I did character inspirations, which are less concrete, so this time I did story inspiration. I think by now most of these are pretty obvious and/or I've spoken about them at length over the years. AoA's origins lay mainly in the Tolkienian world. Of course my love of elves is legendary at this point, but I was always most fascinated with what was going on behind the curtain. What would daily life have looked like in Rivendell, Lothlorien or Silvermoon. What would it be like to grow up in a society where that larger than life elegance, beauty and magic was simply commonplace. What would it be like to live in the days of kings, in a world not yet broken but still deeply connected to its ancient roots. Worldbuilding has always been my passion, so, inevitably, I take most of my inspiration from history's best worldbuilder.

As for Yeryn's specific dynamic, it was most influenced by Kuroshitsuji, which was my favorite anime in my high school/college years. Though it's no longer my favorite, I still deeply love the connection between Ciel and Sebastian. And I find that my current favorite storylines follow this trope almost as closely (Devilman Crybaby, Tian Guan Ci Fu, Mo Dao Zu Shi, SpiritPact). But it definitely all started with Kuro (I even gave it a tribute naming Yehl and Taryn's son after Ciel). As I grew older, I shifted away from Japanese animes into Chinese donghua. I just find that the genre of xianxia more closely resembles that epic Tolkienian fantasy, but in an eastern backdrop. Its inspiring, mystical art style and the all around beauty of Chinese animation and storytelling is something I've really latched onto and have started leaning into in my own works.

13. If you met your OC, would the two of you get along?

Khatte — depends. because on the one hand his job is to get along with people and he is extremely skilled at it, at surface level he is the kind of person who's really easy/enjoyable to talk to and will make people he's with feel liked/listened to even if they're not socially adept themselves. so as far as superficial interaction, yeah he'd be super fun to hang out with. as far as actually getting to know him as a person though, I guess I have the advantage of knowing exactly why he is the way he is but then he'd also hate that about me and frankly I wouldn't be well equipped to deal with his bullshit. so best not.

Kalarros — yeah tbh would love to hang out with that guy. he can get kind of obnoxious and full of himself but I have a distinct ability to work with that and despite it he'd be really interesting to talk to.

Jial-ro — yes but who's to say if it would be by choice or because of the Force glamor

Valdrynn — absolutely, love that guy

Qohi — absolutely not, fuck that guy

14. How does your OC want to be seen by other characters?

Khatte — well, if he could push a button and turn human he would. but failing that, he absolutely Needs to be the best at what he does to make up for it. he goes out of his way to imitate human mannerisms and social cues to the point that other cathar find him a bit weird and uncanny to interact with, but his priority is seeming Normal to the Imperials he's spent most of his life dealing with and it's a source of constant insecurity for him. at the same time he's careful to give the impression of someone who isn't really trying at all, and beyond that how he wants to be perceived at a given time really depends on what his goal is or what he's trying to get from someone.

Kalarros — he's had it impressed on him from a young age that he's a representation of his family/bloodline and to act accordingly. so for a lot of his life his priority was for everyone to know that he's Sith nobility and to be feared/respected accordingly, but by the Alliance era that's fallen by the wayside to a degree. He knows that he's perceived by the Republic at large as a monster and kind of revels in it, but he's also determined to sort of be a source of stability in the chaos. he wants to be seen as absolutely safe to the people he loves and extremely unsafe to anyone who might pose a threat to them.

Jial-ro — he wants to be liked so so so so much. he is desperate to be liked. please like him.

Valdrynn — he would prefer not to be perceived at all and generally makes himself kind of unapproachable on purpose. he spent his time during the main storyline trying very hard to be perceived as a Proper Sith in spite of the fact that he never wanted to be a Sith and hated everything about it, but once he's Commander of the Alliance? fuck that, he ditched all the mannerisms he picked up in order to be respected in the Citadel including the affected Kaasi accent and if people don't like him this way they can go fuck themselves.

Qohi — he stands at parade rest in line at space Starbucks and posts space instagram reels about respecting our troops.

17. What is the worst thing you have put your OC through story-wise?

okay so this is a bit tricky because these are ocs but they're also debatably canon SWTOR characters. so I'm only answering for the main two because I don't have concrete answers for most of them lol.

Khatte — the worst thing I've personally put him through was when he hit rock bottom during the timeskip and was as close as he's ever gotten to actively suicidal. fortunately Lana found him before ImpInt did but he was pissed about it for a good while.

Kalarros — definitely the aftermath of Ziost. I know that's not technically something I put him through since it's a canon game event, but I did line him up to get hit as hard as possible emotionally. he loved the Emperor to the point that it blinded him to the reality of the situation, and even after Yavin he believed that he was on a mission to save the Emperor, not to stop him. he thought that something must be causing it all, and Ziost was the point where it hit him that this was the Emperor's intent all along and all his devotion had meant absolutely nothing. and on top of that most of the Empire turned on him because they believed, for obvious reasons, that he'd been a part of the Emperor's betrayal knowingly. basically the foundation of everything he rooted his self worth in crumbled out from under him and it was rough for a while.

16. Did you ever change an oc's identity when they were already established? Why?

oh hundreds of times. many of my ocs stemmed from ocs and ideas i had as a kid (8+ years old) and because i was young, and bc i didn't know shit, many of my ocs were very cookie cutter. 100% not my fault cuz i was a kid, but now that i'm older i have been updating, editing, and changing my ocs to fit my worldview, to be more intruging, and to not be basic white fantasy character 2.0.

18. Do you prefer to give your ocs specific labels, or keep it unspecified? Why? If applicable, do you change their labels depending on circumstance?

because i (personally) have been getting more and more annoyed with the limited range of labels, and how i consistently have to have caveats for my own labels (which i'm thinking of dropping altogether lowkey, like at this point if anyone really needs to know they're getting queer or they're getting the dissertation i'm tired of trying to be in a box fr) i have been leaning more into keeping my ocs labels unspecified.

there are definitely many characters i have (especially ones in modern wips) that have more concrete labels (ie: darren or toph being bisexual, jenna being a aroace bi lesbian, etc). but when i start getting into the weeds of many of my pure fantasy wips like paramour or tcol, it becomes annoying to try and hold onto our world's notions of gender and sexuality bc simply put their worlds don't operate like that. like sure, amon is gay or masc attracted, but like, troibemme is a fully recognized third gender category, so like. it makes explaining things like that weird. in my mind amon is simply masc attracted, that's the best way to describe it. but like, that's not really a label, ya feel?

i don't really change their labels depending on circumstance, i just kind of know what they like and their general sex/intimacy preferences cuz that's more useful than having a label that means nothing.

19. Do you have preferences about depicting homo/transphobia in your stories? What, and why? Does it vary by story

i depict it if it makes sense for the plot. tcol has a homophobia storyline (around clear) because of how he was raised he faced it, and i have an in world explanation as to why. other characters like di (lukewarm rejection) or jake (purple haze) have it in their storylines because they're ways for me to explore my own struggles with things, but also because i made there a reason in their stories. even paramour has some because there's a small radical group of traditionalists who are specifically made so i can dunk on conservatives.

i have no issue depicting it but i don't put it in every story for the sake of having it though. and whenever i do depict it, i depict people triumphing over it because that's what's good for my brain space lol

All I really know for sure is that I have a lot of thoughts about pokemon's lore and plotlines. I want to try my hand at connecting stuff with a little more continuity because it's fun! There's no way I can get to everything because we'd be here all day, but I figured I'd set up the basic premise and include some fun notes/headcanons!

My general idea is focusing from the anime (up until Horizons) while also including more components from the games (such as more of the SWSH plot/rivals, Emma from XY's post game, Zinnia and the Delta Episode, etc). I also include a multitude of my own original characters, along with some of my friends' (most prominently @starkitters's goobers). Storylines are generally divided up by "sagas" based on the original generation they take place in! I may include some Horizons as it would coincide with ScaVio, but I need to catch up with that series (though from the looks of it it’s all pretty banger)!

This concept is definitely going to mostly get smaller things of art/comics/drabbles and whatnot rather than a full-fic/comic series or whatever because... oh gosh there's way too much. Also obviously not going to cover every single anime episode bit by bit because that would make me insane!!

As for a general timeline— a lot of this main stuff would kinda unfold in the span of 2-3 years? I might make it longer, but then again a lot can happen in even just a month, y’know? Generally, Ash would stay 10 between Indigo League-Advanced, 11 by DP-XYZ, and 12 during SuMo-Journeys. The Legends Arceus shenanigans would probably be during Journeys and the ScaVio stuff is definitely after (I'm thinking potentially a year or so after Journeys' saga would be wrapped up? Though it could even be immediately after idk).

There is. A ton of information even just in this little intro post, and a lot of it isn’t even fully concrete either. But if you find the time to read through it all, I’d really appreciate feedback!

General/Introductory Information

Earlier involvement from rivals/evil teams such as the Galar Rivals, N and Team Plasma, Team Skull, etc! All of that will be covered more in the respective sagas they all appear in, lol

I'm kind of on the fence for whether or not more player characters would be included? May, Dawn, and Serena are canon companions/major characters the anime, I'm including Brendan as Birch's son and Lucas as Dawn's twin brother, Akari and Rei are both going to be native to Hisui, etc.

So far, the mc roles that are taken up by OCs include my characters Lilac (involved in XYZ/SuMo but becomes a Swsh Gym Challenger), Stacy (Emmet's daughter, travels back to Hisui to find her missing Uncle), and Chrys (main Naranja student involved with Nemona, Arven, Penny, and also Kieran and Blueberry stuff). @starkitters's oc Arthur also kinda takes an mc role as Hop's bestie/neighbor and the two of them work with the knight-wolf duo (Zacian and Zamazenta) instead of Ash and Goh just kinda... feeling shoved in there. Ash and his Journeys buddies still get involved in the Darkest Day shenanigans, but another Gym challenger/Hop's bestie)

While characters like Red and Blue/Green aren't really going to be involved since Ash and Gary already kinda take up those roles, there is potential in making like... Ash's dad a Red-esque character? A character based on Leaf? We've also gotten cameos of Jimmy (Gold/Ethan) and Marina (Krys) from the old OVAs and Lyra is briefly seen during DP... but tbh we get so little on them it wouldn't be too difficult to make the OVAs an au or something? I'll have to play with all of it.

The Black and White/Best Wishes saga is going to get some major storyline reworks. Team Rocket (Jessie, James, Meowth, and Wobuffet, etc) aren't going to start actually doing evil shit/working directly with Giovanni out of nowhere. Rather, they get have their own route uncovering stuff about N and Team Plasma, which follows more of the storyline from BW1. Characters from BW2 like Colress and Hugh are definitely still going to appear and their deal won't really change too much, but I'll have to figure out their involvement (especially with Colress he’s got a lot of potential for his own stuff imo). Cheren and Bianca are in a "halfway" sorta period and acting as apprentices for Lenora and Juniper respectively.

I'm mostly going off of the Scarlet side of the ScaVio storyline, with Naranja Academy being in Mesagoza and Sada being the professor inside Area Zero. However, Uva Academy and Turo are also going to be involved! Essentially, Naranja is a school that focuses on helping its students figure out and prepare for careers connected with pokemon (trainers, coordinators, breeders, doctors/nurses, etc) in a more general sense. Uva Academy in Zapapico is primarily a research school (especially prominent for professors and scientists) while Blueberry in Unova specializes in professional battling (League Members, Battle Facilities, etc). Naranja provides courses and connections for careers Uva and Blueberry have niches in, but it's the difference between attending a more well-rounded school and attending a specialized one, if that makes sense.

Turo develops the Terastral Orbs used throughout the Paldea region, while Sada focused on Area Zero and develops the time machine that brings past and future Paradox Pokemon. Their relationship is super complicated and messy /pos. I don't think they ever got officially married, but they're 100% divorced in spirit.

Since the games kinda write Sada and Turo interchangeably (even outside of the whole AI deal) and they're described in the same ways besides pronouns and stuff, I want to make the professors a little more distinct from each other. Sada dives head-first into her passions and doesn't like anything or anyone holding her back, Turo is more conscientious but can come off a lot colder than he intends sometimes, etc.

I know most people hc the Subway twins (Ingo and Emmet), Elesa, Skyla, etc to be in like their late 20s/early 30s... but since I gave Emmet a daughter who's the mc of the Legends Arceus saga... they're actually gonna be slightly younger than Lusamine (around 38 or so) lmao. Let's get more nice and hot older adults up in here

Silver (Giovanni's son/Johto rival) is included! Since there's already a baby Lugia in the anime named Silver and that's just... too perfect, this rendition of the character is going to be named Sage (Yomogi in Japanese). I'm still figuring out his personality and stuff since Paul's whole "be the strongest/pokemon are just tools" thing was pulled from game!Silver, but I kinda want to play with Sage being a little more mellowed out by the time we would meet him in Johto Journeys? He acts as an assistant for Professor Elm, and is surprisingly great with raising pokemon despite the edgy tough-guy act he usually keeps up. He and Brock can nerd out about breeding and nuturing techniques and stuff.

An original team I made myself, Team Comet, acts as a foil of sorts to Team Flare. They’re fighting over (literal) life and death

I’m not entirely sure how to make this work, but I really want AZ’s ultimate weapon to be the (super buffed up) prototype of the healing machines used in pokemon centers. Like… the current machines extract infinity energy from deceased pokemon’s remains (such as ashes and stuff) instead of. Y’know. Draining living pokemon of that energy directly, causing them to die. AZ himself developed this practice as an attempt to redeem himself from all of the tragedy he caused in the name of his Floette. His full name is Azrael Jovalie… making him a pivotal ancestor to the Joy family.

Several large family-clans are the primary leaders of international organizations. The Joy family runs the pokemon centers and overall healthcare facilities, Jenny family runs the international and local police departments, the Jordan family are firefighters who provide aid and try to prevent natural disasters, etc (they may be involved with pokemon rangers? I’m not entirely sure). Others are obviously welcome to work in these forces as well, and members of these families aren’t (usually) forced into working the family business if they want to pursue other goals.

Obviously the anime has all the service-people look identical to safe on time and everything, but I think making unique designs and characters for the Joys, Jennys, etc is a fun concept! No matter their gender or ethnicity, almost every member of a poke-business family have hair and eye colors in the same spectrum. For example, almost every Joy has pink hair that’s styled in circular/drop shapes to some capacity, and blue eyes. Jennys have teal/turquoise hair in lightning shaped styles, and brown eyes. Jordans have charcoal black hair that looks like smoky wisps, and fiery orange/gold eyes.

Xerosic (creepy ass scientist dude who forces you to push a button and coaxes Emma into his expansion suit testing) was originally from Ultra Megalopolis. I’m not entirely sure how to connect him to all the Team Flare stuff??? Or even how exactly he ends up in Kalos but he was part of the Ultra Recon Squad and volunteered to travel to the “main” pokemon world for the to see where Necrozma might try to take all the light next. But when he actually shows up there, he just. Doesn’t care. He’s so fascinated by all of the different pokemon and how energy manifests in such different ways… All he wants to do is learn everything he can about it

Eternatus is an Ultra Beast! The ricochet from AZ’s Ultimate Weapon woke it up and caused the first darkest day.

Builing more from the Adventures manga, Galar was already starting to lose its energy, but the issue is actually going to be addressed far more openly. As Eternatus slept for thousands of years, its dynamax energy gradually dies down to the point where it can’t really be used as a proper resource— especially not to power so many of Galar’s communities. Rose definitely pushed a lot of the reliance of dynamax energy in recent history, but I’m certain Galar has relied on Eternatus for even longer. What makes Rose’s plan to wake Eternatus up again even more messed up (besides putting so many people and pokemon in danger), is that he’s essentially harvesting Eternatus of its energy: Wake it up to get the dynamax levels up again, (have Leon) catch it so it doesn’t go back to sleep… Rose sees the pokemon less as an actual creature and more like a walking power plant, definitely in part with how different Eternatus looks from “normal” pokemon.

The original Sun/Moon storyline with Lusamine and her kids happens first (Lusamine is a mix of the doting from the anime and her abuse from the games… she’s messy /pos). Then, around the time Ash and his friends meet Poipole, that’s when we’d meet the Ultra Recon squad and get into the Necrozma stuff.

Y’know Goh’s whole thing with wanting to catch Mew? How Jessie’s mom died in pursuit of Mew? And the eventual data she found was used for Mewtwo’s creation? Do you see how I’m connecting the dots?

Misc Information

Harley is one of Karen's cousins, making them both descendants of Sanqua (Galaxy Team's Construction Leader) and her little brother, Melli (Diamond Clan Warden of Coronet Highlands). Obviously... we can tell who took after who even after all these years, lmao. They also have a baby cousin (one of my ocs lol) named Jimson from Laverre City (Kalos) who is currently one of the Blueberry League Club's Biome Leaders! He specializes in psychic types... and is lowkey a chuunibyou (really commits to the wizard/witch act)

While Serena is in Hoenn, she meets Lisia and the two become girlfriends besties! They’re like twelve so idk if they’d actually do anything with their feelings but the mutual pining is very very apparent. Their ship name is Dreamshowshipping!

Chloe is highkey a lesbian. That’s just always how I’ve interpreted her??? She’s constantly shocked that Ash knows all of these cute girls. I think her and Iris eventually being a couple would be very cute. If Flowershipping isn’t taken, I shall call them that!

Because I am not immune to @yamujiburo’s propaganda of Hanamusashipping (Hiii Kiana if you’re reading through all of this I am so honored and so sorry it’s so much gjdhdhdhs), I love the idea that Jessie and James start a poly/ish thing with Delia!! By that I mean Delia and James are more so queerplatonic and Jessie is smooching both of them lmao. Ash’s step parents have been here the whole time yippee!!

Arven gets a harem to make up for all the trauma (/j but also not). He gets 2 boyfriends (Giacomo and Drayton) and a girlfriend (Copaia, my main Uva student character). They are all bisexual, bet u didn’t know that ;p

Carmen and Amarys are lesbians and girlfriends!! They’ve been dating for 2 years until the main events of the ScaVio saga

I’m not entirely sure what to do with Indigo League’s Elite 4 since it changes between Kanto and Johto?? Will and Karen are definitely well-known trainers (and possibly even coordinators?) in their own right, but idk if or when they would take Lorelai and Agatha’s places. They might become members around Journeys (since I’m treating that as a general 2 years since Indigo League), but that’s very much up in the air.

Xerosic straight up ditches his daughter (Zossie). Which. He was never that good of a parent anyways but.

Klara is the younger sister of Lacey’s mother (who I have as an oc), making her an aunt! She gave Lacey her Galarian slowpoke/slowbrow.

Lucy is Kieran and Carmine’s older cousin. I know the go-to is that she’s their mom but Lucy’s vibe is more around her early 20s or so to me.

Because I adore the concepts I’ve found from @critterbitter and their mutuals, Ingo and Emmet are Drayden’s nephews. Which makes Stacy and Drayton second cousins— there’s so much comedic potential there you have no idea. Keep in mind that Drayden is also paternal figure to Iris, and Hop and Leon are her cousins… the family tree gets real complicated real fast lmao

Oh heck it's past midnight and I didn't do today's OC-tober. I don't have time for an art so let's do some writing. The prompt is "Future" so there's a bunch I could figure out. My Blanksford story spans a lot of years and I don't have any concrete plans for the future of the timeline even though it's technically important for the overarching story.

Well let give this a go...

It's late and I'm gonna ramble so it's probably gonna be pretty long and depending on if I keep any of it would be heavily spoiler-filled so under the cut it goes.

So with a timeline this long I've been thinking for a while that I need to kill one of my main characters at some point. Like technically I don't have to, I've already had them give up their powers so they aren't an immediate threat to the limit of 6 supers, but I do kind of want to. I just don't really know how. Cuz the last time I killed a major character in a story (I won't spoil who, but it was in my Colostle story) I kinda lost all motivation for the story and I couldn't go back on it cuz of the formatting. But this time I can think about it and if I don't like it than I can try again in a different way.

So my first idea a while back was to have Artemis go overboard and accidentally kill a super. Since she doesn't resort to killing despite her role as one of the most dangerous villains it'd be an interesting turn for her. But now with what I've set up with her and Taylor it seems less likely, though still technically possible. But it'd probably only worth it if she kills Taylor, which would be a shame since I like him so freaking much as a character so I probably won't do this.

I could also have Gabby regret giving up their powers, maybe go the vigilante route. Help out Mercury's new Super Wing fight the Y13 & Y14 villains. ...Which does actually make a lot of sense (and would probably motivate me to write some Phase 3 plot points / stories too).

Okay yeah I'll have that be a good starting point. Take the really old idea of Twin & Distress and make it less about Twin being the villain and more about Distress betraying Twin for whoever I make the Y14 villain be. Then Distress and that villain end up kinda strong, so Mercury and Splash can't handle it themselves. They turn to Gabby for help off of Gordon Wheeler's recc. Gabby has another crisis about their powers (or lack thereof this time) and gets pulled back into the drama. And then either Distress or the Y14 villain kills Gabby after they got in the way. And this overstep would definitely bring Artemis and Blank into the drama too, and I'd get a good old-fashion classic superhero war. And all those fight scenes I've been avoiding would get to happen pretty much all at once. And maybe that war takes long enough that the Y15 super emerges and creates even more for everyone to deal with.

Aeri and Gabby's sister Katie would be fucking heartbroken over Gabby's death of course. They both live together at this point and the person who connected them is gone. They'd probably stay together for a while but I imagine Aeri would quickly get overwhelmed without Gabby and leave in some way; whether that's trying to get revenge, or straight up running from D-City, or something else entirely. So Katie would turn to Madi and Taylor, and they're all friends at this point so it'd probably work out. (Assuming I don't mess with the friendship dynamics by this point with what I'm also working on with Taylor and Artemis' storylines, who knows.)

But if I was going to kill off Gabby I'd want to get some good stories in for her send off, so the Y14 villain would probably end up being the fear-based villain that I've been thinking about. For that villain's inspiration don't think Scarecrow (Batman) but more of a villainous reverse Alex Chen (Life is Strange). Although I'm not too studied on scarecrow maybe that's more his vibe than I think. But anyways I'd get to do some AU stuff that takes place in character's heads and Gabby would see some dark timelines and stuff like that.

ACTUALLY... now that I think about it Distress is kind of a weak villain (I haven't even drawn her yet despite having thought of her like 5 years ago), so maybe I skip Distress altogether let the fear villain be the Y13 super. Hell Distress works as a name for a fear villain too, so I could just rewrite my plans for Distress / Twin and I'd get to keep the few things I liked about Distress and make that work out. Cuz ditching Drake really worked out for the story maybe this could work out too.

Okay yeah that works really well! Guess it turns out that forcing yourself to think about the future of your story for an hour and a half really helps you figure out the future of your story. Weird probably could've tried that before at some point.

Fuck this CS3 time bubble bullshit, The Hydaelyn saga takes 4 years, and post ew is maybe a couple of months? Haven't decided yet (But basically, Aresiba starts her journey when she's 23, and in Dawntrail she's 27ish)

Koana goes to Sharlyan for the same time Aresiba's gone, so 4 years instead of 3. He's her ride to sharlyan, and then from there she goes 2 limsa and then gridania, so like. they gotta leave at the same time

I'm sorry. i. love the twins so very much. but they add VERY LITTLE TO THE RITES RACE IMHO, SO I'm having them come in for the coronation. so that they're here for the Dome Nonsense. and I'm having Yahima/her current student (a hunter and lowkey protoge healer?? kids cracked) in their place instead

Basically I am making this a Girls Trip, moreso than the MSQ does. and yes Erenville/this new oc are also included as Girls in the Girls trip. For the Girlies and Erenvielle/new oc yk

But also I think the bonding moments/banter that Yahima/Wuk Lamat/Aresiba have would be alot. better to fill the dead air than what some of the scions companions give us tbh. There's still this level fish out of water/across the salt type beat tho, bc Outer Islanders (aka yahima and aresiba in our group) are Allies of tural, yes, but not PART of tural, so they're still seen as from beyond the salt. It irks Aresiba tho, bc she's spent a good portion of her life living/training in Tuliyollal/Tural, so she very much considers it like another home to her. Also I think krile and Yahima would make good friends so I want her to be there. also also WHY WOULD WE NOT BRING THE OTHER TRAINED VIDRAAL HUNTWRS TO /THE/ VIDRAAL FIGHT like it would even make sense. then. I want them there 🫵

I'd also probably add some time in places that feel like. happen fast. and overall have a more concrete time frame of when things happen.

Like I'd put at LEAST A DAY inbetween the group arriving to Tural, and the day the rites begin. The Rites maybe take like 2 weeksish. possibly a little less depending. I'd add a couple of downtime days to a week inbetween the final rite/finding the golden city and coronation day. The shaolaani trip maybe takes a handful of days, maybe a buisness week? The Dome Explorarion takes a few days, and ofc Living Memory less than a day. I'll keep the 3 day celebrations bc that's fun, then immediately after Aresiba goes on a full 7 day week No-contact vacation to see her family. and then that Final CS of her, Erenvielle and Wuk lamat takes place the day of her return to tuliyollal. probably a few hours since her arrival. After that it's all me time baeby YIPPIEEEEEE

Maybe. Maybe not. I'm sorry this isn't the most concrete of answers but HRV was a very intensive thing that got disrupted quite suddenly by a very, very traumatic offline thing. And, because of that, I ended up putting away the short story anthology I was working on as a sequel and I've only looked at it very sparingly since.

I still love Oozery (I've adapted him to be an OC, actually), but I don't know if I have it in me to go back anytime soon. I still feel a fondness for it, though, so who can tell?

could you elaborate on Essi and Juno's characters and how they are paradoxical? I'm curious, I'm taking any Essi crumbs I can get :D

OKAY SO LIKE BASICALLY I was thinking about some of their more internal struggles and things that they deal with and it’s so like, self contradictory to everything else about them and their personalities and I just find it so fascinating.

With essi, all around her personality is very much in line with a lot of protagonist type characters: she’s very energetic and outgoing, super hardworking and determined, and has her moments of silliness but also being very very cool. The interesting thing is that while she is for the most part pretty confident and self assured, she’s also in a lot of ways insecure. She gets very easily nervous and intimidated by other people, even if she tries her best to hide that and interacts with them despite her nerves, and sure, when she does warm up to people, she’s able to be her outgoing self very quickly, but that initial nervousness as well as the fact that she herself often doesn’t really know just how charming and likable she can be is kinda the cue that there is something more underneath the surface. More than that, when you look at her as a blader, I imagine there’s also some struggle there, because the thing about it is that Essi is a very strong and hard working blader, but she’s still not as strong as some others, and that is a source for some turmoil. Especially when she’s best friends with someone like gingka, it lends itself to a lot of comparison that maybe might not be the best for herself. The other thing about that is that she’s also very isolated in a lot of her struggles, despite the fact that she does have a lot of friends and people supporting her, because she doesn’t wanna be a burden to anyone. A big part of Essi’s character is the she likes to feel useful and helpful and she does a lot to support others, but she really doesn’t extend that to herself a lot and tries to tough out a lot of things she deals with on her own, not even feeling like her problems are really that bad/worth the concern. She’s so contradictory because of all of those contrasting features— she’s confident but she’s also insecure, she’s got lots of great friends but she’s also lonely, even just the fact that she is both strong and weak. Essi is a lot of different things but I love that about her and I feel like it works really well for her.

Juno, among my main four, I feel like is arguably the one who generally goes thru the least turmoil as a whole. She’s got herself pretty figured out. Since I kinda tend to depict her mostly in sillier/fluffier situations, I don’t really talk about some of the deeper parts of their personality a lot, but it’s kinda an important thing when I think about them plot-wise. As with most of my ocs, I don’t really have a concrete storyline for him so much as I do a general arc and progression of his character. The way I kinda imagine it, a lot of his early role would be kinda similar to the way takanosuke interacts with the main gang, in the sense that he’s not an antagonist and actually does tend to get along with the characters most of the time, but their appearances are sporadic and they don’t really tend to hang around a lot. It lends itself to them feeling more cryptic and mysterious, which is kinda the vibe I was aiming for there. A main idea with them though is that their first battle with any of the main characters which does eventually become a longstanding rivalry is with Kite, and I know I talk abt this a lot in a digivalen sense, but beyond that, it’s also what’s initially revealing about their character and that there’s more to her than what initially meets the eye. The idea with it is that juno talks a big talk about getting to know people more deeply through beybattles and revealing more about her rivals and their personalities through the act of communication via bey battle, and for most people, this ends up being a fairly enjoyable experience, but when kite battles her, he realizes one crucially important thing: Juno’s holding back. Kite ends up winning that battle, but it’s not a win he’s satisfied with because he knows Juno wasn’t giving it his actual best effort, and when he calls her out on this, Juno doesn’t let anything slip, still just as cryptic as ever, but does acknowledge him. I actually wrote a short drabble about this a while ago because the idea is so important to Juno’s character.

This kind of thing continues with her for a while, and the thing about it is that while yes, being a blader but not battling people all out is generally risky and weird behavior, but when Juno holds back, it’s not just that they’re not giving it their all, but also that they don’t extend their own philosophy to themself. Juno’s main passion and motivation generally is to understand other people better, to get them to open up and help them understand themselves better as well, and while she is very in tune with her emotions and tends to be a very friendly and empathetic character, he notably doesn’t tend to open up much to others himself. There’s a level of emotional distance that makes them feel unknowable to a lot of people, but that kinda starts breaking down once Kite (and eventually others) start acknowledging that and confronting that. For a while, Juno is content to just getting to know others without opening up herself in the same way, but that becomes very shaky once he’s called out on it, and part of what I think their character arc within the story would be would involve him doing more for himself, which also includes going all out in beybattles more often, not being content to just sit by but actually be a part of it himself. Juno’s real power as a blader isn’t really known for a while because they don’t fully apply themself, but the fact that he can hold his own for so long against strong opponents even without giving it his all is a testament to the fact that she is much stronger than she lets on. She’s so weird and cryptic and hypocritical, I love her sm.

I chose the ending where their brother returns to life; however, he no longer remembers them. This has, of course, amazing angst potential in both directions. I shall be writing more!

I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to do with Skelly; I know I want to continue the Evolution storyline, but after that I'm going to do some brainstorming and get more concrete information on them and Henry. I'm also going to have to choose whether Henry keeps his original last name (in which case I'll need to choose one) or if it ends up being Exoskeleton, the one that Skelly chose for themself.

Otherwise? I'm going to work on giving Mycelium a little development too, though I know more about her than I do about Skelly on account of he came from a genuine "I'm going to make a Fallen London OC!" rather than "Hmmm I'll just make myself – oh fuck no this is a whole different guy"

Also, Skelly definitely wants to kill Cups, in revenge for the fact that they didn't get what they wanted, but they aren't going to – they no longer have a weapon that can kill a Master.

I'm Hero (he/him)! I'm an autistic writer and artist whose two biggest interests of all time are Warrior Cats and Japan. This is a side blog for my fanclan/multiverse that...combines those two! This is just where I yap about it; the characters, the worldbuilding, post art of it, etc!

So...here's a quick rundown! (Of course, you can always read the Google doc, but that's less fun than a blog, yaknow?)

What is CCEU? (And WEU too)

CCEU stands for the following: "Cloudclan Extended Universe"! This is an umbrella term for all stories within the universe where Cloudclan and its surrounding groups reside. So, CCEU includes WEU (Wispclan Extended Universe), DAD (Dancing and Dreaming), HSO (Hangout Strike Out), and other stories. 

WEU, is in a sense, a smaller CCEU inside of CCEU? It's its own little universe inside of CCEU using the clan's old name Wispclan as a placeholder. WEU specifically refers to a multiverse of stories about the following three characters: Beatleeyes/Kabutomushi, Foxrun/Fox that Burrows in Snow, and Soba/Meiro/Brightseer. These stories do not happen in the same timeline, though some things remain consistent between them all. Some CCEU stories are canon to all timelines, or only some. 

The reason for this…really confusing set up that really only I understand is because…well, trying to come up with one, concrete story, for these OC's, drove me insane. I had too many ideas and too many fun dynamics and storylines running around in my brain that just couldn't be confined to one timeline. So: CCEU and WEU were born. Out of the two of them, however, WEU has the most content. 

CCEU takes inspiration from a lot of different things---worldbuilding wise, I'd say the main inspo is the BetterBones AU! Which, by the way, is one of the coolest things of all time, IMO. My goal for this Tumblr blog, I think, is to get a post a month out exploring the world of Cloudclan. Feel free to send in asks!
