More Manipulative Ragatha.
ACK-
This was meant to be ~500 words and one part of a short story that went into detail of Ragatha doing different things on different days to push Pomni's boundaries, get her closer, etc. And was inspired by yesterday's ask about Ragatha intentionally throwing herself into harm's way to get hurt and get Pomni's attention.
Instead it ballooned up into a little over 2000 words and will be something of a standalone.
I would like to give my thanks and dedicate this to @miguxadraws whose enthusiasm helped push me to hit the ground running with this one!
With that said: small TW for needles (the sewing kind), and I hope you all enjoy..!
“I’m never sure how to start these things…”
I muse to myself as I tap the colorful pencil’s eraser against the empty, waiting page of my journal. Being the second longest lasting person in The Digital Circus changes how you think about information. Unlike Kinger, for example, I’m doing my best to not go insane by holding on to every piece of information until my mind snaps and I become amnesic. That means writing things down. Journal writing and compartmentalizing things. Separating the bad from the good and keeping the good close and the bad locked away.
“I suppose starting with this morning wouldn’t be a bad idea.” I flip the pencil around and begin jotting down what all happened…
Pomni woke up on me today. I didn’t bother with sleeping. Instead I just enjoyed watching her quietly snore throughout the night. God, she’s so cute when she’s asleep. She’s even more cute when she’s startled. She woke up, adorably mumbling about whatever dream she was having (I heard my name!!!), and stared up at me for a few moments. I didn’t say anything because she was clearly still out of it and wouldn’t have understood me anyway. When she realized she was using me as a full body pillow she let out wildest little yipe I’ve ever heard. She nearly hit the ceiling from jumping off of me so hard! It took a hot moment and a re-heated, leftover salmon cake to calm her down after that. I let her get dressed in peace (thank you again, God, for giving me a button eye to stealth watch with) and she left with a sweet little smile on her face.
I pause writing for a moment when I hear someone trying to stay quiet while working on something outside my door. Probably Jax. Probably with a bucket of insects and some kind of mechanical trap setup. I shake my head irritably but stay quiet. Jax would have been a lovely boy toy to keep if not for the fact he can’t stop being a punk for more than ten seconds. My single regret with him is that he only had one heart to break. The sound of his trap construction jolts me back to writing by jogging my memory.
The adventure!
How could I have nearly forgotten that when it was a huge amount of progress with Pomni?
Caine rounded us all up just like he does basically every other day.
“HELLO MY MUTANT MASHED POTATOES TODAY’S ADVENTURE BLAH BLAH BLAH-”
It was some kind of movie-like, ancient temple we had to find the treasure room of. The important part was Pomni and I took the ‘medium’ difficulty route, and we did it by ourselves. I was just about to see how well she dealt with an unprompted hand on her shoulder when I realized I had seen the hallway we were in before on a different adventure. Caine doesn’t just re-use NPCs, he re-uses chunks of levels sometimes. And I knew we were about 15 steps away from a circular saw trap that would shoot out from the wall and try to leave us with a nasty cut, to put it lightly.
My first instinct was to let Pomni walk into it. I thought it’d probably go right through her leg, maybe even both of them. I’d have to carry her all the way to the end and she’d have no choice BUT let me hold her. My better judgment got a hold of me, though. That was an awful plan. She’d hate being useless and dependent on me (at the moment, anyway). But I could still use the trap to my advantage to make her touch me…
I suddenly remembered why I nearly forgot the whole thing. Ever feel so much pain your body and brain try to factory reset?
“Hey, I think I’ve seen this hallway before.” I told her as I switched the side of her I was walking on. I picked up my pace slightly to make sure I triggered the saw without catching her as collateral. I braced myself as hard as I could without letting on something was up. A small part of me was begging to just not do this, but the opportunity was too good to pass up.
“Really?”
“Yeah! From a different adventure!”
And I think she was going to ask if I remembered anything helpful about it. That’s about when a single stone beneath my foot pressed down and I let out probably the longest running censor-bleep in Digital Circus history. The saw was as quick as lightning. My left arm, right above my elbow, was effortlessly sliced off, and the blade tore through my side like I was made of paper. I screamed and fell away from the blade. I landed against the wall opposite of it and started sliding down to the floor. Good God it hurt so bad I was seeing stars. Pomni shrieked and rushed over to me, hovering over me like she’d found a murdered body in an alleyway. I was in too much pain to get her to stop screaming for a moment so I could tell her what to do, and then she said that she would go get help.
That lit quite the fire under me, because:
1. I needed to get her used to touching me by getting her to patch me up, and, perhaps more importantly-
2. I’M TIRED OF HER RUNNING OFF WHEN I AM IN INCREDIBLE PAIN.
I have to say, despite the pain I was in, I was pretty slick with my next words.
Any person scared and hurt might say ‘don’t leave me,’ but if I left it at that, she might have just offered me a platitude about being back as soon as she could be. I had to twist the knife. She managed a single step away before I lunged at her foot and seized her ankle. I didn’t need to pretend to cry, as there were plenty of real, agonized tears.
“Please don’t leave me again!”
The ‘again’ sold it like beer at a college ball game. Oh, it hurt to see so much remorse in her eyes but it’ll make her think twice before running off again in the future. She dropped to her knees next to me and sputtered a dozen apologies before going quiet when I placed my hand on her upper leg to get her attention.
I remember gritting my teeth and having to hiss through the pain to direct her to my dress pocket (conveniently on the same side I was missing an arm on, and oh my how those little hands wander in a pocket) where I had my emergency sewing kit. Ugh. I could have died from cute-overload while watching her fumble so shakily while trying to thread that needle. When she finally managed it she looked at me with huge, worried eyes for guidance on what to do next.
I pause again to enjoy the memory of her looking at me that way. It’s almost dreamy to picture her like that. So nervously hanging off my every word… I could REALLY get used to that. Where was I? Oh, right, my little jester doing doll surgery on my side.
Feeling her touching me gently was so, so nice. And she listens so well. I bet if I told her that the stitching would only hold if she barked like a puppy, she might have actually done it. I’m so used to sewing myself up that the little pricks of the needle barely registered to me, so I up-sold the pain they caused. Clenching my teeth and (remaining) fist, and scrunching my eyes while hiccuping every few seconds as if I were holding back a breakdown. She paused once and held my cheek, and told me if I needed a break she would stop. AGH. I could have eaten her alive on the spot for being so sweet! Instead I sighed, enjoyed the touch, and thanked her but said I was okay...
I love Pomni to bits but she sews like a blind grandmother with arthritis. No cut like that is ever good or easy to work with, but even Gangle manages a cleaner stitch on a bad day. Still, that meant we got to spend the rest of the adventure like that. Her pressed up against my side, trying her best to hold as steady as possible, while keeping my stuffing from falling out as she stitches me back shut. Definitely worth every ounce of pain. When she was done she even crawled over to my arm and offered to try putting it back on. Absolutely precious.
I told her not to worry about the arm. Caine could fix it when we get back, and about when I said that our AI Overlord’s voice rang clear throughout the structure. Caine congratulated Gangle and Kinger for reaching the treasure room first, and declared the adventure over. Pomni and I fell through a portal that suddenly opened beneath us, and just like that we were back in the tent.
Caine looked me over and quipped I had gotten “too adventurous for my own good,” before snapping his fingers and fixing my arm. He then said something about seashells and vanished. The others were already heading their separate ways when I walked over to Pomni and hugged her. She jumped slightly, but didn’t pull away. I thanked her as warmly as I could for staying with me, and I saw on her face that same guilt from earlier being soothed slightly. It wasn’t enough to put her at peace, but enough so she knows I will happily praise her for doing something good.
I let her go and I offered her another meal tonight – if she was feeling up to it, that is. I could see her putting real thought into it-
My writing is once again interrupted by a dainty knock at the door.
“Ragatha? I’m here for dinner, but-” I quickly slam my journal shut and hide it away again. The last thing Pomni needs to see is the contents of that book. I hop up from my chair with a spring in my step and grab the doorknob, only for Pomni to suddenly shout.
“D-don’t open the door yet! There’s a bucket full of something on the door frame. It’s attached to some kind of trigger. Kinger’s getting it down now.”
I hear Kinger scraping something metallic away from the door before the man himself speaks up.
“Oh! That’s where you’ve all been. How do my centipedes keep winding up in buckets..?”
I had clean forgotten Jax trapped the door. The thought of being stuck with a bucket on my head as all of Kinger’s little hellspawns crawl over my face is almost enough to make me throw up, pass out, and start writing a manifesto. All at the same time. Did I say earlier I only have one regret about Jax? I have two. And the second is that I can’t drown him in the cellar.
“Okay! It’s safe now!”
Cautiously I crack open the door. My eyes are drawn to the movement of Kinger walking down the hallway with a bucket full of nightmares in his arms, but I quickly focus back on to Pomni. I let out a low, tired sigh and smile at her.
“You saved me twice in one day.” I try not to swoon, but it still kind of comes out that way. The little blush she starts sporting on her face doesn’t help.
“Ah- don’t worry about it.”
God she’s so cute when she’s bashful. I open the door and step aside to welcome her in with a playful flourish.
“Well, come on in! A hero deserves her heroic feast! I’ll get on it right away.”
“A heroic feast of spaghetti and meatballs?” She laughs, the sound as sweet as wine, as she enters and steps passed me. I laugh back with her as I start to shut the door so we can start another night off right.
“And garlic bread, that’s the really heroic part!”

Bladders Gat3 Finish doc
:et me get the rest of my fucking feelings out about baldurs gate:
im so mad bc any character who is not human or realism/white passoid is literally regarded with the same type of dismissal that you would see in mainstream media. all the companions that are not white passing are treated like shit and have bad ends.
-Lae'zel (gith) gets abducted by the a bad guy for the last 1/3 of the game (also we could talk about her being the fighter class as default is also a bit racist, but the deep dive will be its own essay). and then she can die and not be able to be resurrected. (resurrection scrolls and revivify spells ONLY work on companions and not npcs)
Wyll (THE ONLY BLACK HUMAN MAIN CHARACTER, side note we could talk about how is name is spelled like a white mormon names their kids) is a big talking point bc he is constantly strung between the expectations put upon him by himself, his family, and then his pact matron. AND NO MATTER WHAT OPTION IS CHOSEN WILL CONTINUES TO SUFFER IN THIS EXECUTIVE PURGATORY. He starts as a "i have to kill this devil" actually its a tiefling (suddenly its now fantasy racial infighting, so of course u dont wanna kill another companion so early in the game, so Wyll is forced through Hell's Circles and the exposure makes him grown large demonic horns. (Wyll does not have control over his body or himself, nor his actions, and only suffers the consequences of the actions of the Tav (PC)). Wyll even gets to have the "I did everything for my father's (approval just to have my father misunderstand me and then the most noble course of action is to be independent because i am still bound by choices prior and also if two black people form any sort of family on screen its disgusting and blasphemous so I might as well treat my father like my brother who i never was able to relate to when i was younger" THIS IS NOT MENTIONING THAT WYLL IS LITERALLY THE SON OF THE DUKE OF BALDURS GATE. HE GIVES UP HIS STATUS OF NOBILITY TO BE HEROIC AND IS JUST FOREVER CONTINUALLY PUNISHED. THE DUKE OF BALDURS GATE IS BRAINWASHED TO RELINQUISHING HIS TITLE AND CORONATES THE WHITE DEVIL EVIL DICK BAD GUY WHO SOLD KARLACH (TIEFLING) TO HELL FOR GIGGLES.
Karlach (tiefling) is a bright eyed noble hearted character that is looking for solace after having 10 years of her life taken from her when she got sold to devil and hell and made a war machine slave because thats perfectly tragic. Her heart is taken from her and replaced with an engine (machine) that is slowly killing her when she is not in Hell. THE ENGINE DOESNT EVEN HAVE A GOOD IN GAME MECHANIC, YOU GET TO SET URSELF ON FIRE TO GET A 'HEAT' DEBUFF THAT U CAN CONSUME ON AN ATTACK, you build heat any other way, so its like only <Lv. 4, and if you minmaxed the opening scene, you get a 2h sword that does this every attack, so like its a bit moot and useless. Furthermore i think its really stupid that shes yearning for companionship and yet is not allowed because her engine makes her to hot to touch. Which rubs me the wrong way as a black transfem (u could argue tiefling coded) because I already feel like that. I feel like im too intense and hot with my passions and i intimidate people to the point that I'm actively denying myself the intimacy i crave so dearly just by existing and expressing myself. The taxation of life shouldn't really exist in video games!! The whole party gets mind enslaving brainworms that magically dont work because the plot armor is really strong yet the demon character who EVEN WHEN THEY SEEK HELP IN THEIR COMPANION QUEST ARE DENIED THE REALITY OF LIVING COMFORTABLY BECAUSE THEY SHOULD ONLY EXIST IN HELL. (cried actually). Before the last of this mess, she offers to turn into a mindflayer just to give herself the peace that she could be the hero that saves the world (become the villain because its better than who you currently exist as, or die being yourself (who has LITERALLY BEEN DEMONIZED). Karlach doesn't get to have have a happy ending because she either dies from engine overdose or goes to hell just to fucking breathe. THE KICKER IS THAT WYLL, THE PERSON WHO WAS GOING TO KILL HER AS PART OF THE WARLOCK PACT, OFFERS TO ACCOMPANY HER IN HELL AND FIGHT BY HER SIDE. WHICH MEANS THAT ALL OF THE MARGINALIZED IDENTITIES EFFECTIVELY FUCK OFF AFTER YOU SAVE THE WORLD.
White victim Shadowheart has the option of rejecting what she knows (which was a lie told her) or believing it. The worst she has to do is kill a bound seraphim, and free her parents held captive by putting their souls to rest (she turns them into light, killing them). She gets sick weapons. Clerics are busted anyway.
White devil astarion got to ascend in pale supremacy and got cool vampire powers (bite+, bite++, buff on kill, and consume buff for heal || next hit crits). The final battle WAS BUGGED FOR ME. I WAS STUCK ON THE BOSS FIGHT FOR TWO WEEKS BECAUSE THE END OF BATTLE SCREEN WOULDNT LOAD. LIKE I MADE A WHOLE NOTHER CHARACTER BECAUSE I BEAT THE BOSS 7 TIMES AND MY BUGFIXED DIDNT WORK!!
if im gonna get so heated about video games i am just gonna go play bloodborne so i have no room to complain bc im constantly sucking

i've also been answering slarpg-related questions over on my retrospring account lately (which basically serves as a twitter ask box for me), so here are some of those! this includes factoids about the main cast, lore questions, and design and writing questions! (there are also some light spoilers for the game here - if you've played through act ii you're probably good)
Since Reverie is a world where magic can do all kinds of crazy things, how come trans people dont use some type of transformation magic in their transition? We see that Melody has to take her hormones so I'm assuming transition here works the same way as in reality. Is magical transformation unstable or dangerous in a similar way to getting too much magic too quickly is? Or in a more meta sense was this just a conscious choice to keep that aspect of the trans experience grounded in how it goes in real life?
it was the latter. a lot of details exist in the world to make the lives of the characters feel more grounded in reality and to play into the modern fantasy vibe. like, why do they just have regular cell phones and computers instead of some fantastical equivalent or just beaming messages to each other telepathically? because that's the brand of fantasy i'm going for. does transformation magic exist in the world? sure, but then you get less of that "wow she's just like me fr" factor
reverie also isn't supposed to be a utopian world where all of the problems we have on earth have been solved, even with the existence of magic. allison still has to pay rent, harmful ideologies still exist, and, yes, melody is still going through HRT instead of just casting the boob spell and being done with it
(but for the record, on reverie medicine IS made with magic, so it's quite possible it's more potent than what we have because of it)
Do you think more comics can be anticipated in the future?
i won't rule out the possibility but we also don't have plans for more right now
Hey whatever happened to "The Whacker"?
it had an internal mana reserve that was depleted when melody cast that big spell in the comic so now it's kinda useless
The Notice Board in Greenridge -- I'm curious, was it ever meant to be more than the couple quests it gives you? (Or, at least, I only ever say the couple, lest I missed something.) I'm mostly curious as it seemed like something that would update over time, but never did. Figured it was just one of those things that never got as fleshed out as perhaps initially envisioned, likely due to time constraints.
the notice board was something added between early alpha builds of act ii. i had recently added the quest log and wanted to do something with that to test it out, and i also wanted the friends who'd already playtested the amber woods to have something new to do in the area. i did, in fact, assume that there would be more small side quests via the notice board in act iv, as well as some similar side quests in the wasteland, but work on the main story and the major side quests took so long and the game was already so much bigger than i had originally expected that adding more small fetch quests was deprioritized. as it stands now it's effectively a tutorial for the fact that sometimes you'll have secondary objectives aside from the main story, and that you can track them in the quest log
i definitely would've liked to do more side quests in general, but act iv already has so much more content than people expect that it would probably only hurt the pacing of the game to add even more side quests before the final dungeon
i will also say that i considered removing the notice board and just letting you get the two quests from the NPCs since it does stand out that it isn't used more, but the gag with pepper's request only works if there's a notice and i didn't wanna cut that
is there any Javis backstory that you have but just never put into slarpg, or was he always just Some Weird Dude and that's that?
he doesn't have a fully fleshed out backstory or anything but i do have more info about his origins than what's conveyed in the game. i'm sitting on it for now
How good are the main four (plus any other NPCs you like) at drawing?
melody: not good, but it'll be recognizable
allison: not a professional by any stretch, but loved to doodle in her notebook in school
claire: comically bad
jodie: shockingly good due to her experience drawing blueprints and designing armor as a blacksmith, but it's not a skill she even consciously thinks about having. in her mind faith is the artist
bobby what happened with the room off to the west in mumford inn. why did it exist at all if it was just being renovated all the time lol
i put the door in the middle of the building on the exterior art but then didn't have anything to put off to the left side of the interior
So here's a worldbuilding question: How many gods does Reverie have? Is it a (relatively) small pantheon where each member has wide-reaching power or is more like Greek mythology where you have both the big guys and minor gods for every increasingly specific possible domain? If it's the former, who are those gods? What domains do they claim? If it's the latter, who are the major players?
reverie has a small number of gods who each represent a big concept. i'm currently avoiding specifying too much about them to allow myself creative freedom on future stories, rather than deciding on and sharing 100% of my worldbuilding up front and being beholden to that forever
So we know what Allison's preferred weapon is (SWORD), but what does kind(s) of weapon does her mother Amelia use when she gets into scuffles? This may or may not be important for a fanfiction which I am writing.
she also generally prefers swords but will use just about anything. i see her as a jack of all trades when it comes to both fighting and magic - kind of like a red mage
Since most of the cast’s family/past is brought up at least in passing… Is there a reason we never hear about Melody’s? Or am I missing something? All I recall hearing was that she was constantly bullied and Allison stood up for her.
it just wasn't really necessary for the story or her character arc in the way that other characters' families were relevant, so i didn't want to commit to anything about them and potentially write myself into a corner in the future. i'll probably figure out what her family is like someday (and why we haven't seen them), when it feels necessary to do so
part of me also worried that melody might be interpreted as younger than she actually is (or that the game might automatically get more of a "YA" vibe) if one of the first things you see in the game is that she still lives with her parents, even though, like... she's a 22-year-old with no job. she shouldn't be able to afford her own house. where'd she get the house? who knows! but i wanted it to be clear up front that she's an independent adult, so she lives on her own, away from her parents
beyond that, if her family's in greenridge, then her parents become characters whose status you'd have to worry about throughout the game as certain things happen in and around greenridge. they're additional pieces on the chess board. where are they at any given time? where do they live if not with melody? why did melody move out? how do they feel about what's going on? are they worried about melody's safety? are THEY safe? how are these relationships affected by what's happening? it's a lot of additional character work that needs to be done for the sake of supporting characters that just weren't important to the arc i wanted to give melody
I see in Allison's character bio on the SLARPG website that she likes Fighting games… Which ones does she play and who would she main?
allison like the really flashy stuff like mvc or arcsys games. she would main dante in umvc3, and i-no in guilty gear because she wishes she could fight with a guitar irl
what SLARPG character has motion smoothing turned on on their tv?
jodie did until the exact day claire moved in

"Ignored Blessing" (1/?)
since im bored ill put lore here :3 oh and the numbers are not errors i put it there on purpose, the story will be confusing but trust the process, i don't wanna reveal the true plot yet soooo i might double post
Harem x Reader
Warnings: Derealization
you always thought of yourself as an average person you don't know a lot of people you have a few friends and you have a job at a cafe shop you loved working there since the smell of coffee always relaxes you. You barely remember the events in your high school since it had been a long time since the last time you talked to any of your friends
You dont even remember if you even went to high school you barely remember your past too its like you just woke up and exist its strange all you remembered was a few friends from your childhood but you dont remember any person in your past that isnt related to them
You felt like you know nothing else in the past and only the present memories you have now
you woke up, what day was it? it was strange you were just dozing off and then you were back where you were, you shrug it off as just your imagination there was no way that was possible you thought it was just a dream you stood up from your bed getting ready for the day as you did you look down at your hands and squinting your eyes
am i real?
you start to look around you, you lived alone since you moved out of your parents house...parents? you don't remember their faces or names where was your home town? you don't remember...what was your favorite fruit? color? how old where you? you look down at your clothes, you wear the same clothes everyday but strangely enough you don't smell, did you even sleep last night? it feels like your repeating what you do everyday you just now noticed that, how come?
Nothing feels...real everything looked the same you wake up get ready for the day go to work and go home over and over again you were like programed to repeat the same things everyday when was the last time you didn't just go to work? you never remember having any fun it was like...you were a NPC
you look at your hands again your vision slowly getting blurry as you drag your legs to your room, you plop down your bed and close your eyes, you sigh your eyes slowly closing again as you slowly fall asleep you realized-
01010011 01110100 01101111 01110000 00100000 01110001 01110101 01100101 01110011 01110100 01101001 01101111 01101110 01101001 01101110 01100111
looking at his paper, his room messy with papers around his room it was a messy scene as he sat on the floor staring at the blank paper thats writing on its own, he stared at the paper with shock the letter was writing on its own he shakily took the chair that he had threw earlier that was still in tact he stared at the paper
he blinked the character he wrote that he had already forgotten about was questioning its own existence it was a bizarre his gaze went from fear to interest. He slowly lift the paper stops writing on its own he blinked raising a brow, strange.
he put it back down and then its starts to write on its own again he instead starts to read what its doing, it was questioning its own life, he thought that he had threw away this one, it wasn't getting as popular as the other things he made so it was useless to keep it around any longer.
he picked up the paper once more and it stopped writing again. He carefully put it on his pocket and starts to clean up his room, after all he had more important things to write than focus on the one he threw away it was irrelevant now.
AAAAAAA i hope you guys liked it im not that good with writing and plots, this ones short so ill make the other part longer, i type slower at my computer soooo have a nice day/night
And for those whos waiting for the diamond reader x sagau it will come around soon please have patience with me T^T i get really random idea in my head so i cant really focus on one thing-
Edit: Reading this in my phone is actually very small, i have to make the part 2 longer

Oh yes! Non-WoL Meowdred and Theodore.
I made them to be compatible with my friends' WoLverses, but I mean. It's good food to chew on.
✧ They're contractors for the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. Skilled adventurers, but mostly just 2 guys who floated between high-paying jobs. They had an apartment set up in the Mist, but were reachable through linkshells and Thancred's contacts.
✧ Despite each possessing the Blessing of Light and the Echo, Minfilia could NOT for the life of her recruit them.
✧ Meowdred said the Scions sounded like a cult, offending everyone. He also said do-gooders like them were fated to die a wretched, meaningless death because he was still in his emo-era so yeah.
✧ He does the thing where he "belongs" to several free companies, but his main one was a money-focused if prestigious group of adventurers. Funnily enough, Theodore was not signed up with the same FC. Taxes, you understand.
✧ Meowdred and Theodore are available as Duty Support for all the ARR primal trials, and with an extra quest, could be available for Heavensward duties, replacing the random banneret or soldier.
✧ They could also be involved in the immediate aftermath of the Waking Sands being sacked by that Livia lady.
✧ Despite what Meowdred told Minfilia, he came running when he heard they were attacked. He was looking for survivors, and volunteered his services as a funeral priest to inter the dead and ensure news of their passing reach their families.
He told the Warrior of Light he was sorry for their loss, if there were any among those who passed. And that he would work to find out where the survivors were taken.
✧ Mordred and Theodore WERE able to corroborate the information of where the captured Scions were kept. They joined the duty to get them out of that castrum near Silvertear, and Theodore would remark that the "corpse" of Midgardsormr still felt like it echoed with a song.
✧ Mordred helped the WoL and company escape during the bloody banquet, putting the Brass Blades to sleep and guiding Lyse and Papalymo out of the dead end they found themselves in. He spent most of HW patches absent after returning from Ishgard, but returns for Baelsar's Wall where both he and Theodore were with the Grand Companies' forces.
✧ Although the two were involved in the Ala Mhigan front during StB, Mordred could mysteriously be found apparently in jail with the Sekiseigumi in Hingashi. Gosetsu remarked on it, because he recognized him from having hung out with the Doman refugees back in ARR.
✧ But the WoL can leave the cat for later because it would literally be a useless fucking side quest where apparently Mordred was found in the forbidden zones of the Garlean Embassy, and was summarily arrested. He was impatiently waiting in jail with the Sekiseigumi, but had broken out by himself at this point.
If/when the WoL caught up with him, he told them he was in the process of assaulting a "mobile Garlean base" south of Rhalgr's Reach, but they must've had a teleporter or something because he felt himself yoinked away and emerged in an unfamiliar case with the WORST nausea.
This was, of course, the precursor to the WoL being able to travel to the unattuned aetheryte in Yedlhimad. The Garleans had their own version of it.
✧ Anyway, you could take Mordred through Duty Support in the Far East if you do the quest. He doesn't offer anything particularly useful as a new companion, but is an extremely high-damage caster DPS who will explicitly use AoE attacks and might therefore get ur team through a lil faster.
Also he can be found around Locations offering his thoughts etc.
✧ Meowdred gets to go home when your WoL does, yaaay. Apparently he knew Carvallain and actually quite a few people in Limsa Lominsa, having spent his childhood there.
Theodore was BESIDE HIMSELF when u bring the cat back to Ala Mhigo. He thought he was DEAD like DUDE. and Meowdred said sorry, the linkpearl broke with the teleport, etc.
✧ Oh yeah they're background NPCs in Ala Mhigo dungeon and also were there during Ghimlyt Dark.
✧ Tbh anywhere the WoL went that wasn't the First, it seemed Meowdred and Theodore were there somewhere. The 2 Guys, you know?

ONE PIECE
So. The story so far.
YES THERE WILL BE SPOILERS
So. Firstly I would give One Piece an overall 9 as an anime. From what I've seen and heard, the show has kept up even after 20 years, thanks to the wonderful Oda, and that is very important to me as an avid watcher.
True, I never made it past episode 60 the first time I watched, I don't think, HOWEVER!!! That doesn't mean I disliked the show, I liked it a lot. I just probably have ADHD (╥_╥) which means a lot of the longer shows I want to watch get put down by accident because a new shiny show comes out that I want to watch then and there... (I'm looking at you Jujutsu Kaisen (๑•̀ᗝ•́)૭.
I restarted the anime about a week ago during my move into my new apartment at episode 45, as it's the last episode I can fully remember (though I did skip through a little because I can't lie... the Buggy filler episodes were not my thing) "૮₍ ˶•⤙•˶ ₎ა I also know that the Netflix live action ends around episode 45 as well, which- I'm happy to say, is probably the ONLY live action adaptation of an anime (apart from the theatre productions of studio ghibli films like My Neighbour Totoro) that ACTUALLY WORKED!!! Also, Jamie Lee Curtis, a true One Piece fan loved it! Plus, both Oda and Mayumi have crowned Iñaki as the real world Luffy SO SUCK ON THAT HATERS!!! True, I didn't watch the live action fully, as my friend was watching it whilst I played dragon quest 11 (good game) but I got the gist of it, and it was really good from what I could see.
NOW!! ON TO THE GOOD SHIZ!!!
I am currently on episode 57, as of writing this, which means Chopper is only 24 episodes away ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽ つ And I NEED to meet the baby!! I'm currently watching the crew sail with this little dragon doo dad (who I cannot remember the species name, but his name from Apis is Ryujii.) And shit just started happening. The boat is a rocking, the sky is raining, Zoro and Apis currently have rope burn. It's a good episode. If I recall correctly, they're about to enter the Grand Line?? I know they're right next to it at least, but I think they're trying to get Ryujii home- I just realised that they just landed on the island I am dumb. There was a strange wispy of wind a second ago, which means that one guy is likely already on the island with them I think. Who knows "૮₍ ˶•⤙•˶ ₎ა. Either way, once again this show is showing how corrupt the government system is lmao.
Anyhoo, overall, I don't think One Piece can really be judged by episodes, unless you talk about the live action. I'd say a better judgement would be going by arcs? I will say, this arc is pretty mid, just because I've seen it before and because I don't think Apis as a character is good whatsoever. She's just kind of that npc character in an rpg that directs you on a fetch quest before telling you that she must be protected as she's annoyingly coming with instead of staying home safe- oh wait she's the only one who can talk to the dragon and therefore knows where the fetch quest main area is. Great. Yeah, she's extremely mid now that I think about it.
I wouldn't skip this arc, just because I think all arcs leading up to the Grand Line are definitely important, HOWEVER, I do think she could've been in it less. The grampa would've had more to offer in my opinion, even if it was just comedic value. Plus, he could've been a secret badass who saves the day, who knows.
Also, as I'm writing this, my wifi CUT OUT (╥ᆺ╥;) so now I'm dying of death... (╥ᆺ╥;)(╥ᆺ╥;)(╥ᆺ╥;)
Anyways, I would recommend One Piece, but at the same time, if you aren't used to watching long form anime... gooooood luck. I can only do this because I watched Naruto and Shippuden a couple years back and that- ugh that hurt. One piece was still only one episode 800 too... It hurt so much. Yes it's a good anime BUT IT WOULD BE HALF THE LENGTH IF THEY CUT THE FILLER OUT, KILLED OFF SOME OF THE USELESS CHILDREN YOUNGER THAN NARUTO, REVEALED KAKASHI'S MOLE, AND CUT THE FIGHTS TO HALF THE LENGTH!!!!
Sorry, got emotional there. But yeah. One Piece? Good show. It also only has about 50 filler episodes out of the current 1076 episodes that are released. That's an achievement. Also I am now realising how quickly they must have pumped Naruto out if that show had 750 episodes plus movies...
Final thoughts? Watch One Piece. Don't watch Naruto. It isn't worth it. Also, idgaf if people disagree. If you watch Naruto, only watch Naruto. Don't bother with Shippuden. Hinata is the only good character after Naruto, but she isn't worth it.
#onepiece#one piece#luffy#naruto is too long and has too much filler#naruto isnt worth it#if you watch naruto only watch naruto do not bother with shippuden#sasuke isnt hot he was an asshole#sakura is abusive#luffy is the king of pirates#king of the pirates#chopper#tony tony chopper#jamie lee curtis loves one piece

'Everyone Calls Me That, I Swear'
So this is. Um. I guess my first piece of 2023. Scooter is literally a character that @modern-greek-tragedy and I made up based on that photo of the Hellfire Club. He's a menace to society and the strangest NPC in Gareth's life.
Scooter Phelps spent a lot of time in detention. In fact, by the middle of the ‘83-’84 school year, he had spent more time in detention than he had actively getting into trouble. After all, it only took a few moments to scratch ‘Fuck Reagan’ into a bathroom stall door with a swiss army tool, but it took several hours of intense boredom after school to make up for it.
Gareth Emerson spent a lot of time in detention. He picked fights with punch-happy seniors, started useless arguments with his peers, and always stuck his gum to the bottom of his desk in Mrs. O’Donnells’ American Poetry class.
Scooter Phelps typically sat three desks away from Gareth Emerson in after school detention. Scooter knew the kid from Hellfire Club, but didn’t usually talk to him much. Gareth seemed prickly and standoffish, like a growling dog. Like he’d bite you if you put your hand near him.
Scooter Phelps was not great at risk assessment.
“Hey!” He whisper-shouted, more for theatricalities sake than anything else. Every teacher with detention duty had learned exactly what to expect from Scooter, and it wasn’t quiet.
Gareth didn’t move. He hadn’t moved for the better part of an hour, really. He’d slammed the door behind himself, sat down, pulled out a library book, and gone completely still.
Once again, in case you missed it the first time: Scooter Phelps had no risk assessment skills.
“Hey! Gary!”
Gareth marked his page with his thumb and twisted in his seat to look at Scooter. Success!
“Gary?”
“I’m just fucking with you! It’s Gareth, yeah? Gareth the Great?”
“Yeah.” Gareth eyed him warily. “What do you want?”
Scooter leaned over the desks and held out his marker stained left hand. “I wanted to intro-”
“I know who you are.” Gareth looked from Scooter's hand to his face, then gave him a look that made Scooter feel, just a little bit, like the kid thought he was stupid.
“We’re in a club together.” Gareth said. He was still giving Scooter that look.
“But you don’t really know me. You don’t really understand, kid.”
“We’re in the same grade.”
Scooter stretched his arm out further. “I’m Razor.”
Both of Gareth’s eyebrows shot up. “Razor? Since when?”
Scooter retracted his hand and dropped back into his seat. “Since forever! People call me Razor.”
“Who? Nobody in Hellfire does.”
He deflated a little bit. Yeah, of course no one in Hellfire Club called him Razor, because when he showed up to his third club meeting with his newly self-christened nickname, they all just looked at him like Gareth was looking at him!
“I don’t think this is how nicknames work.” Grant had said, and that’d been the end of the discussion.
“They’ll start.” He assured Gareth. “But other people call me that all the time.”
“Okay…” Gareth faced the front of the room again. “I guess…”
Nobody called Scooter ‘Razor’. Some dreams just have to remain dreams.

@ivory-coronet I've kept playing TotK and oh my god do you want to hear literally every thought out of my head on the topic?
BEWARE OF TOTK SPOILERS ALL YE WHO ENTER HERE
First I love all the little newspaper quests they're silly but they're fun and it's pretty nice going everywhere doing random shit that in like a third of cases are just the Yiga trying to fuck with you. I'd say Penn is useless but actually I think we're splitting the work pretty well: I do all the fieldwork and he writes the articles and gives them to Traysi! Great partnership. I just need the Gerudo Stable and I'll be done, but Ihope you can do stuff with him once the questline is over.
Also I can't help but notice you have way more of an impact on the world in a way? The NPCs remember you, they know who you are more often, I saw the two horse researchers and since I'd already talked to Malanya I got to tell the one who was interested in him that he did indeed exist, it's really really cool. And the rebuilding quests!! The Rito Village bridge! The Lookout Landing mini-stable!! The monster-control crew stuff!!! I really feel like I'm not just doing random sidequests for a reward but that I'm actually contributing to the world and the world knows it.
On the topic of the Wind Temple: it was great, you were right it didn't feel like an annoying dungeon! More like a traditional dungeon but not annoying like they usually are to me. It took me uuuh humiliatingly long to realise you had to use Tulin's gusts of wind on the turbines even though the Sage just straight up tells you to do that lol. The Sages stuff is incredible and I'm absolutely delighted by the fact that I've done a quarter of what was the main quest in BotW but I still don't know what's going to happen at the end of the game. In BotW you just knew where the final boss was and how things would more or less go from the end of the tutorial but here I'm still kind of at a loss. Like there's the Sages but there's also the Depths and the ruins in Kakariko! That said one of my friends who's also playing it said he stumbled upon the Mastersword and the final boss at random just exploring so uh. That must have been weird.
Plus on the topic of the Rito I need to be insane about this to as many people as possible because I was a Revalink kinda girl and I won't forget my roots: when Tulin gets the Great Eagle Bow after the temple... Babe that's MY bow!!! Give it to me it's MINE!!! It does 3x28 damage and it has a great design!!! I got it by beating the dungeon and saving your village almost alone last time!!!! I knew Revali and I wam/am a Champion too!!!!!! IT'S MY BOW GIVE IT BAAACK!!! Make your OWN bow Tulin!!!!! No for real I would be so happy to make a new group for the Sages and Link and make some fabric we can all wear and he can put it on his own bow someone made for him/helped him make but you gotta hand that back baby it's mine!!!!!!
Also I've been to see the Zoras as well and I'm at the entrance of the temple but not there yet so I won't say anything about the dungeon itself but 1) god Sidon.... dreamy sigh. Also 2) Yona isn't that ugly people are just mean. She's great she's sweet and she grew on me real fast. And 3) I really do not care about Finley's appearance relating to her quest in BotW I think it's some fun background stuff but I'm disappointed they didn't give her an older model like they did for Kass' kids. Like she's been waiting for that growth spurt for years now Nintendo just let her gain a few inches!!
Anyway what I want to talk about is the way they handled BotW's existence & a little bit its themes, which I personally think is the biggest flaw of the game. No mention of the Divine Beasts no mention of the towers or the shrines there's some stuff about the Calamity but it's rare I'm sooo mad like I was there for all of it!!! Why are you not saying anything!!!! We can't be forgetting history like three-five years after it happened!! I know they didn't want new players to the franchise to be lost but it's offensive Purah doesn't mention Sheikah tech when explaining the towers it's offensive the Zora chest armour's description just goes 'made by a Zora princess for her future husband' like the Zora princess in question wasn't Link's childhood best friend and he wasn't supposed to be the future husband it's offensive there's no mention of Revali anywhere except the landing is still called Revali's Landing when he had extremely similar powers to Tulin and Teba spent his childhood talking about the legendary champion to him and he has his damn bow in his back!!!!!! I'm so mad!!!! Why Nintendo why!!!
And when I said themes I meant that I'm sad the Sages are all descendants of the original Sages. Cause see the new champions all occupied the same roles as the old champions (greatest Rito warrior, Zora royalty, Gerudo chief, Goron boss (to be)) but while the others all were descendants of the OGs Teba wasn't. It said something about the characters and their villages and what they all valued. And now we're totally forgetting Revali when he's relatively recent (100 years compared to like 5 000) and had similar powers because "what if the player hasn't played BotW". Honestly it made me feel like the shitty 180 the Star Wars sequels pulled with Rey where the message was that whoever her family was didn't matter because she got to decide her own path and - oh wait no her grandpa was Palpatine it was always meant to be fuck off. Like none of them need to be related to the OG Sages but if Sidon or Riju are it's at least coherent with the fact their tribes (?) both seem to have a hereditary thing going on with their leadership. But Tulin really doesn't!! The Ritos don't work like that!! The point was hard work!!! I'm so mad about this one. Note that I don't say anything about Daruk and Yunobo because Yunobo is sweet but Daruk's personality is flatter than a sheet of paper in BotW, especially compared to AoC. I guess at least Mipha's statue is still there and they namedrop her once really badly :)))
Anway I also went to the Depths because I need that camera and it caused me worse stress than walking around Central Hyrule at the start of BotW. So. Not hyped to have to go there more.
There that's it I think but if you have more stuff to chat about don't hesitate to answer or to hit me up 👀 👀👀
#in order i talk about the journal stuff - general stuff - wind temple - wind temple - the zoras - me ranting x2 - the depths#i'm really having fun with it it's so cool#i need the game to uncurl its grip on me i have things to do that aren't totk :'))))#wow i have a ramble tag now

After a month of playing I finally rolled the credits in Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Despite playing this game almost daily for a month I never really got bored. Well, at least for the most part. I could still easily squeeze a lot more playing hours out of this game, but I’m not really feeling it. Playing any game non stop for a month can get tiring, no matter how good it is. This review thingamajig will contain spoilers, so read below at your own risk.
Totk is an interesting sequel. It does a lot of good and improves in some ways, but at the same time stays pretty much the same. The enemies are mostly the same, the locations are the same, the weapons, npc’s etc... But it has a lot of added new things that spice things up. The existence of Totk pretty much invalidates Breath of the wild. It’s practically the same game, but has tons of new content and mechanics on top. It’s like a massive DLC, and I know some people use that as insult, but that’s not the case here. I think Totk does a lot of new things that justify it being a new title, but it can’t shake the “this feels just like botw” feeling. And I’ll dive deeper into that thought later on.
So the game is essentially botw, but bigger. What’s new? There are new enemies, locations and mechanics to play around with. The main mechanic is sticking things together and potentially building cool things, but I was never too excited about this system. I did build some hot air balloons, cars and boats, but I never built a working mecha because honestly I didn’t care. I love watching peoples creations online though. Fuse mechanic was also somewhat interesting and I loved that you could put materials to use by fusing them into arrows. There are no elemental weapons or wands in this game because you can just glue an electric horn to a stick and you got a lightning sword.
I enjoyed the story quite a bit, honestly it was my favorite part. It wasn’t mind blowing, but Ganondorf was a fun villain and there were some story twists that really shocked me like Zelda turning into a dragon so she could survive to the modern era after having been sent back to the past. The main dungeons were neat too and I liked the bosses as they felt very traditional Zelda like. The sage companions that you slowly collected on your journey added a neat flair to the combat, although I hated chasing after them to activate their abilities.
Talking about bosses the final boss this time around was on point. I always found Calamity Ganon disappointing despite all the build up, but Ganondorf felt like he was worthy of the hype. Three phases with some neat gameplay bending surprises in the second phase, plus a really cool design. I cooked a lot of food for the fight and realized it was useless because of course he used gloom damage instead of damaging your normally. What made the fight somewhat easy was that he only did one heart worth of damage which allowed me to make a lot of mistakes.
I did enjoy my overall time with Totk, I wouldn’t have played it for a month straight if I didn’t like it. But I decided to put the game down after rolling credits, despite there being ton that I haven’t explored yet and maybe 70% of the depths are still unexplored for me. What gives? Because I genuinely feel like I’ve already played this game before. And I have, in Botw. Botw blew my mind back in 2017 and I loved the game to bits and thought it had one of the best open worlds ever. It’s still a fun world, but I’m essentially running through it all again. Of course things have changed a bit, but like I said it can’t shake the feeling.
Instead of the “ooh what’s over there?” feeling I got a “oh it’s this place” when I kept exploring. This demotivated me a bit, but I kept going because I wanted to see what had changed. I just wish there had been a new region or something to explore. There were the sky islands and the depths, and I did like the sky islands nothing against them. But the depths I didn’t like. There are even fewer things to see down there and I fundamentally hate it being dark and having to throw those bloom flowers around. You just run after lights the whole way and when you light the place up you realize there’s nothing to see. Just the same enemies as up above, some mines and a couple new enemies. Maybe there’s some big secret I haven’t discovered (which is very likely), but I can’t be bothered.
I’ve also got some other minor annoyances, like the enemies. There are some new ones, but the game still feels like I’m just fighting the same Bokoblins and Lizalfos everywhere I go. Even before the final boss you fight a horde of those guys. Side quests haven’t felt as interesting either and the rewards suck ass. You go through a big chain of quests only to be rewarded with a diamond or a damn zonai charge. The most memorable side quest chains were the Hateno village mayor elections and working as a journalist with the pelican Rito. Also I kinda digged the orchestra one where you unlock the great fairies. But most other quests have been very uninteresting.
In short, it’s a fun game if you were into Botw and you’ll get a lot of enjoyment out of this one. I hope the next Zelda game does something truly new. A new setting, a new world and new mechanics. I’m pretty sure that the franchise is going to stick to the open world formula and I don’t mind that, I just want to see some truly new places and adventures. Tears of the kingdom gets a OH I REMEMBER THIS FROM THE PREVIOUS GAME out of HIYAAH!

Maybe it’s just me but I feel like most of the players never focus on uncanon stuff.
I am mostly bringing this up because people sometime tries to theorize who are the Awakening’s 2 generation’s canonical father. Unlike in Fates, each children in Awakening has a canonical mother save Lucina and F! Morgan, who are linked to their father. Awakening is hence one of the game where the pairing have very little canonicity with arguable canoncity for Chrom/Sumia though she is most definitely the most favorite candidate for Chrom’s bride. BUT recently enough I’ve seen people speculating that Chrom’s default second kid would be Inigo because, in Heroes, he always wink his right eye which is supposed to have the Exalt brand in it.... Look as much as I love Chrom! Inigo, I think it’s giving Intys a bit too much credit too think they actually care about those little details. In my opinion, the only reason why most of his art have him wink is because it’s his trade mark and that’s it. After all, people were saying the same thing about Henry because of Laslow’s dialogue with Soleil in Fates, others were doing the same thing about Gaius because in Hidden Truth Inigo brings candy with him... and the same thing with Robin because “only Laslow Recognized Amiboo Robin” which is not true as it’s the localization only, in the japanese version Lazwald says that this Robin just look like the one he knew and that’s it.... Asides from the fact that wondering which one is Canon I friendly remind you that game systems can often divorce their plot universe... What do I mean by that ? Well, that we are so bound to the Awakening system only allowing weedings between 2 units that we forgot that the Shepherds girl could have had their kids with literlay any body from a realistic point of view.
Let me explain : do you remember that when Chrom can’t get married to either Sumia, Maribelle, Olivia, F!Robin, Sully, the game systems pairs him up with a random village maiden to be Lucina’s mother ? Well, that’s what I am talking about.
Because of Time travel, normally marrying your units to obtain kids is actually useless. In Fates, it was necessary to marry to have kids because the Fates 2nd generation are the ACTUAL kids of the character. In Awakening however, it is not the case: the future folks are NOT the Shephered’s actual kids, their ACTUAL kids are yet to be born whereas the future folks’s ACTUAL parents were dead. By this logic, normally the future children should be available WITHOUT having to marry their mother to another playable units, a random guy from the army or a random villager could have do as their parents !!! I think the actual reasons why the game decided this system is :
1) To make the system come back as it was, you had to marry 2 of your units since it’s to obtain a powerful units in order to not create an imbalence if you were to lose a unit in Classical mode
2) From a story point of view, this avoid having to explain that the kids can still exist even if their mother marries another man than in their original timeline. But in normal times you would not have need to marry them to unlock the units
Same things for the Future folks : the game system has their love interest be other Time travel folks or MU, but if we put that asides, they could as well end up with any member of the Shepherds, not necessarily one of the playable units, but the other soldiers we never meet, the NPC, the mob, the random characters, literlay anyone from the present timeline other than Robin.
In short, this means that any of the Shepherds girl could have their kids with a perfect nobody so trying to make canon something that is highly linked to the game system is probably something that won’t happen. And like I said it works only for Awakening since Awakening’s time travel through multitimeline makes it possible to have a situation like marrying Lissa to Lonqu’u when in the original timeline, Owain’s father would be Stahl... it won’t happen in the game, but normally, storywise, this can happen. So actually to unlock the 2nd generation, marrying two units was uncessary, really... even if Owain’s father was Stahl and that you married Lissa to Lonqu’u, Owain won’t dissepear since our timeline Lissa is NOT his actual mother, this one being dead and that Lissa’s ACTUAL son will therefore be able to be born withou erasing Owain’s own existence (kinda ironic as if it was a linear timeline, than Owain’s birth in our timeline should erase Future Owain since he destroyed his own past and that the future version will never become what he became).
As for Fates, when the Time Travel Trio arrived, the purposefully claimmed that their default art hair is actually a dye hair like this they may not destroy any ships, since this make any Awakening or Fates non canon as the Trio is basically a boomerang : if you married them in Fates, means they were single in Awakening and if in Awakening they are married, but not in Fates than they can return to their spouses...and then you have the DLC creating a new timeline, with new version of themseleves... but this works as well as for the Shepherds as their father as if it was a random dude.
In short, because the marriage possiblity in Awakening is actually wider, the future folks’s possible father’s are not restricted to the Shepherds, but is actually wider... which means that we might never have a CANON Awakening pairing.
That’s why, I think that when they are in Heroes, the Future Folks parents are most likely a random character, a NPC, someone that doesn’t exist in Canon but is supposed to exist in the lore....
#fire embem awakening#fire emblem Awakening#fire emblem heroes#i feel like a total monster each time I wrote coldly that the future folks's actual parents are dead and that our units are not their actual#it feels heartless to write that they are not the actual Shepherd's kids but those of other dead version#but as silly as it is that means that when they get married they should go play the DLC to meet their actual in laws hahaha

Beaming on new platform
I’ll share some more facts. I will never stop talking about it until it reaches people. Never set yourself up for failure on Rumble. There are bigger oceans out there that will welcome you better. Don’t be loyal to a platform that only looks out for itself. The moment you point out the truth, there’s no such thing as free speech. Go to those who will listen and welcome you. Multi-streaming is the key, and if you grow on that platform, make it your own. If that platform goes down, it’s a shame, but you can just direct your community to a platform that is still standing. YouTube is here to stay.
You can send your Twitch, Kick, or Rumble followers to YouTube because these platforms are botting. As long as you obey the rules on YouTube, you’ll be fine. I’m a streamer who plays video games. Just avoid listening to music that could get you copyrighted. There are many YouTube video playlists that are allowed and not taken down because they feature custom music remixes. I always listen to that type of music on stream. I’m building up my community on this new platform, and I haven’t figured out the YouTube stuff yet, but I will definitely start streaming on YouTube. I’m doing well on this new platform, I had 715 views on the first day and 2,000 yesterday on one time. Today, i start stream late so had 70 viewers even that is pretty dope, so it’s similar to TikTok,you need to stream at Asian times for the perfect audience. Just playing COD i had people tune in. They so cute they using google translate just speak to me. The fact even they dont understand much they willing sit there and just watch and give you follow. its global platform.
Let's go! 🫶 Just finished playing the story mode of both Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3 campaign's on both. We're killing it on the new platform, trying to level up my account. It's similar to Mixer, which I love. The more you level up, the more features you unlock. I miss Mixer, so this is the closest I can get. Next going to finish far cry 6 game. All organically Ashwell.
Unlike Kick, Twitch, and Rumble, where all you see are viewbotters and talentless, unentertaining streams that don’t interact with the chat, I make it a point to read out people's names when they enter my stream. It makes them feel special and actually keeps them around. On Rumble, Kick, and even Twitch, you find a bunch of NPCs. Sadly, these streamers have huge egos and flex on their fake viewers. Since these platforms lack integrity and competent ownership, they just hand money to these people, even though they know they’re botting.
When you put in hard work and get views organically, that’s when you can proudly flex because you made it without cheating. They’re afraid of me becoming big, which is why I’ve been shadowbanned everywhere. It’s super obvious when I start streaming on a brand-new platform and get views, but on Kick, Rumble, or Twitch, these people with mental disorders and pathetic lives are so obsessed with me. They go around telling people in power to sabotage my account, making sure I get shadowbanned in search engines. A lot of people know this is happening behind the scenes.
See the picture look up👆. I told you. This is what the staff on Kick is doing. It’s so embarrassing for grown men to be this desperate for validation it’s such unprofessional behavior. There’s more to come it just not that. Not just her!
People don’t realize that if platforms like Kick or Rumble control the narrative, they hold the power. Rumble is a dead platform, which is why it’s only 7th on StreamCharts. Unknown platforms are still leading. That’s why Rumble is desperate, going around begging people to pay for their useless premium service. They put all their bets on Sneako, and now he’s moving to Kick and will stream on Twitch starting October 1st, from what I’ve heard. It was just a matter of time. They had egos when they got Andrew Tate, but nobody would have even heard of that platform if he hadn’t spoken about it. I actually signed up in 2022 the moment Andrew mentioned it. Who even watches Rumble videos? It’s just a bunch of canceled people on there. Nobody cares about political channels.
You know these platforms have done something to my account. I’m even shadowbanned on Twitter because these people know I’m pretty good at networking. The fact that they’re harassing big names and talking behind my back only God knows what they’ve been telling them. Imagine being so obsessed with me that you go around talking about me and begging others to ignore and stay away from me, even though these people have nothing to do with their petty drama. That they so press to be dictate over whom they should be friend with this what competent admin and owner of kick simp over 304 girls whom jealous of that i actual use my brain and personality get views they had with their power aka send nudes or do behind some weird shit. I have already expose people with screenshot on my tumblr whom these people are. This what people on kick in kcip program these people be doing.
This is the reality we live in that people sell their souls for money, sinking so low as to send inappropriate images to staff just to get favoritism. Oh yes, I said inappropriate images. Some even marry mods who are probably the ones botting because that 'that whale chick on kick ' isn’t smart enough for tech to do it herself, and she is not smart. flexing her degree we don't give shit. probably cheat in school too. Anyone viewbotting its clear they cheated in school. Its common cheaters do cheat in everything in life.
I’ve heard from many people that she has sent nudes, and I know for a fact that admins are also simping in the pool section, with Andrew from Kick telling them to mention his name to get partnered. These people need to be called out.
It’s the same with Rumble, where they simp for a guy whose wife does porn. The fact that I called them out led to them removing my checkmark. They know that if they didn’t stop me, I would have dominated them. The first time I streamed, I had 100 viewers organically on Rumble, and out of jealousy, they accused me of botting. I’m not dumb like them, wasting money on buying bots. I actually have a life and bills to pay. I’ve got my priorities straight, as well as my morals and principles. Yet all those bots, like Lumpypotato, only have 15 subs. You know it’s botting if someone claims to have all those VODs and only has 16 or 15 subs on Rumble. People are super gullible. I will share something yall should look into there is person on twitter whom actually show make you guys can see for yourself in better context and visually.

Write Your First Adventure Lesson 10: Allies and Enemies
The activity for this lesson suggested that the participant practice creating RuneQuest NPCs by picking their three favorite characters from their favorite TV show and statting them up in the RuneQuest system. I decided I wasn't going to do that, because, well, I was already behind schedule and statting up characters is time-consuming; why make three stat blocks I'm not even going to use? So instead of statting up three characters from a TV show, I decided I'd go ahead and stat up three characters in the adventure. Specifically, why not my three villains? I'd have to stat them up eventually anyway. Why not get it over with?
This was, by far, the most time-consuming of the activity for me so far. I had actually been catching up before this, but it took me days to finish this activity, and it set me further behind again. (To be fair, it's not like I was actively working on the activity for all those days. The activity was daunting enough that I did... kind of a lot of useless procrastinating. Well, not entirely useless; I did more reading of the RuneQuest books, and asked some pertinent questions on the Chaosium forum. Still... yeah, didn't work on this as assiduously as I could have.) It didn't help that the three characters were very different from each other and between the three of them used a variety of different RuneQuest rule subsystems I had to familiarize myself with, including geases, bound spirits, poison, and sorcery. It also didn't help that I gave one of the characters pets, and another the ability to summon a demon, and I figured I should stat those up too, so I really statted up six characters, not three, though the two pets in particular were substantially less complex. (Seven characters if you could the darkness elemental that one of the characters can summon, but that one's simple enough to not be counted.)
I'm sure copying and pasting this into Tumblr is going to play havoc with the formatting, but again, it's taking me long enough to post these that I'm not going to spend too much time making it look pretty; I need to work on the adventure. But here goes:
Deradi Onehanded
Growing up in the city of Nochet, Deradi Onehanded was apprenticed at a young age to a local stonemason named Barnadel. His master was cruel and demanding and had little concern for Deradi’s welfare or safety, overworking the unfortunate boy and having no compunctions about putting him in dangerous situations. Deradi quickly grew to hate him and long to leave, but he was never given the opportunity to escape, and had nowhere to go in any case. What finally freed him from his oppressive master was an accident in which a heavy, sharp-edged stone fell on his arm and severed his right hand. Without his hand, he was of no further use to Barnadel, and the mason threw him out on the street.
Without any other means to support himself, Deradi eked out a miserable existence by begging, scavenging, and theft. But he found that while he might not have any manual skills, he did have a gift with language, and a talent for deception. Before long, he was able to make a decent living through various scams and chicanery, using his wheedling words to part people from their goods and money. Blaming his homeland for his wretched childhood, he emigrated north to Sartar, moving on from place to place whenever it seemed the locals were about to catch up to him. Only recently has he tentatively decided to settle in one place, hoping that his latest scheme will be enough to support him indefinitely.
Although magics exist that could grow back Deradi’s missing hand, he has chosen not to seek to have them cast on him. He claims that his hand was lost in his quest for the shard of the Spike, and that he is geased to leave it as it is as a memento of his experience. In truth, there are several reasons why he hasn’t tried to get his hand restored. For one thing, people who pity him because of his maiming may be more likely to give him what he wants. For another, he can make up elaborate excuses of his having lost his hand for grand and honorable reasons, which again helps with his schemes. Also, the missing hand gives him an excuse to avoid manual labor and makes it easier for him to get him to do things for him, which feeds into his fundamental laziness.
Deradi is not actively malicious, and wishes no one any real harm (save perhaps Esrolian craftsmen like Barnadel), but he is self-interested and amoral. While he won’t go out of his way to hurt people, he’s not overly concerned if someone ends up getting hurt as long it works out to his benefit. At heart all he wants is to have his needs provided for and maybe have people look up to him, and with the cult he’s getting that. He does not share Asratha’s ambitions of expansion and conquest, but he appreciates her help with his cult scheme and is willing to go along with her plans.
Even if he weren’t missing a hand, Deradi would not be able to put up much resistance in a physical fight; he has no real skill with any weapons and is neither particularly strong nor agile. However, it would be difficult for the adventurers to get into a situation where they could face him without defenders. He spends most of his time in his room at the temple of the Shard, and although he occasionally leaves the temple to go on a walk through the town, he is always accompanied by a few of his cultists when doing so. Furthermore, he is never far from the two exotic pets he acquired in his travels, a young brown bear he calls Waddle and a velociraptor he named Snap. These animals are perhaps the only beings Deradi really cares for, and they return his affection and will defend him to the death. Also, of course, if the adventurers haven’t contrived to part him from the Shard somehow, he has its powers to call upon. If all else fails, Deradi can use his magic ring to summon a darkness elemental. He will do this only as a last resort, not only because he has no means of controlling the elemental, but also because he has no way of recharging the ring himself if the matrix is expended. (He can, however, convince a worshipper of an appropriate god to recharge it for him, and he’s done so in the past.)

Asratha of Wark
Showing her intelligence from an early age, Asratha was initiated into the cult of Lhankor Mhy where she could indulge her thirst for knowledge. She impressed the priests with the fervency of her study and with the avidity in which she devoured the books in the temple’s collection. She learned the lore of the stars, of the Elder Races, of the minerals of the earth. And she learned the secrets of sorcery, which she took to eagerly as a way to expand her power, seeking out obscure spells not commonly known to the cult.
Asratha was especially interested in history, and loved reading about the glory days of Sartar. She exulted in tales of King Sartar Ernalsarsson himself, who united the tribes of Dragon Pass; of his being bound to the Feathered Horse Queen in a ceremony conducted by the strange Inhuman King himself, of his walking into the Flame of Sartar that consumed his body as he rose to immortality. Of his son and heir Saronil Goodstone, who built the kingdom’s wealth and bargained with the dwarves for their secrets of construction. Of the tragic romance of Saronil’s son Sarotar, murdered by the other suitors of the Esrolian princess he loved.
But she found the more recent history disappointing at best. The nation Sarotar founded should have been the beginning of a great empire, but instead it was itself invaded by an empire from Peloria. She was aware there were those with ambitions to become King of Sartar, such as Kallyr Starbrow and Queen Leika of the Colymar, but doubted any of them was up to the task of raising Sartar to the grandeur it deserved.
When her own tribe, the Dinacoli, betrayed the Jonstown Confederacy to pledge themselves to Lunar ally Duke Harvar Ironfist of Alda-Chur, Asratha was disgusted, feeling that they were turning their backs on their chance to be part of a great united kingdom of Sartar. She left her home village of Wark to travel across Sartar, ostensibly to gather more knowledge by first-hand observation and by visiting other libraries, but secretly also in the hopes of finding some hope for Sartar’s ascension, some spark that perhaps she could help fan into the flame that would exalt the land.
When she ran across Deradi preaching about his cult of the shard, Asratha saw an opportunity. She didn’t believe for a moment that the rock Deradi carried was a genuine shard of the Spike; she saw him immediately for the fraud she was. But she also recognized his talent for persuasion and his ability to turn others to his favor, and she saw in him and his cult a useful tool she could use to unite Sartar and elevate it to its merited splendor. She offered to bind a strong spirit in the shard to give it real magic he could call upon to demonstrate its power. Seeing how this would help him gather his cult, Deradi accepted her aid. Asratha’s ultimate plan is to help Deradi’s cult grow to the point where it will become a force to be reckoned with, and Sartar will unite behind it—with Deradi as the cult’s face but Asratha, of course, as the real power and decider. Deradi is unaware of Asratha’s aspirations.
Asratha carries a codex, bound in fine leather and with gilt decoration on the cover, which she uses as a journal, faithfully recording the events of her days. The journal serves a dual purpose, however; it is also a binding enchantment in which she has trapped a spirit. She has another spirit trapped in a jeweled hatpin—and of course it was she who bound the spirit in Deradi’s shard as well. (This means she is currently at the limit of spirits she can keep bound, and cannot bind another without risk of one escaping.) Note that Asratha always keeps the journal on her person, so the adventurers will not be able to find and read her journal and learn all of her plans that way! Through her sorcery, Asratha can also summon demons of the Underworld to defend her or work for her. Doing so requires an hour-long ceremony, so it’s not something she can do in combat, but if she expects to need the services of a spirit she may perform a summoning ritual in the morning to summon it for the day. Her most frequently summoned servant is a demon named Foruel Ganodra—she knows the demon’s true name, so it is bound to obey her commands.

Foruel Ganodra (Summoned Demon)
To those who can see it, Foruel Ganodra appears something like a giant three-legged kiwi bird with a lamprey mouth on the front of its body and green pustules sprouting from its back. However, unless it is manifested it is only visible to those with Spirit Sight or similar abilities; it can manifest or discorporate at will. Foruel Ganodra claims to be a grandchild of Tolat the War God and Ty Kora Tek, Goddess of Dark in the Earth—though Asratha strongly suspects this is a lie.
Certainly there are other demons of Kaldan’s Gate that could in principle be summoned by Asratha’s spell, but Foruel Ganodra is the only demon whose true name she has so far learned, and therefore the only demon she will summon. Notably, Asratha does not know any spells to control or dominate demons, so if she summoned a demon whose true name she did not know it would be hostile to her unless she overcame its magic points with her spell strength, and that’s a risk she’s not willing to take.

Combat: When manifested,Foruel Ganodracan simultaneously stab with its beak and rake with its claws, at the same or different targets. A special roll with the beak indicates an impale result and the damage is rolled twice. If it impales, Foruel Ganodra can detach its beak and leave it in the target, immediately growing a new beak. The detached beak dissolves into foul-smelling gas when pulled out the target.
A special roll with the claws means that Foruel Ganodra has grasped the target; Foruel cannot attack a different target with its claws while it has a foe grasped, but on each turn that it has a grasped victim it will bring that victim to its mouth and bite it. (It can only use its bite attack on a grasped creature, but it can use its beak on a different target in the same round that it bites.) A failure on the bite attack means the target has escaped the demon’s grasp.
As a disembodied spirit, Foruel Ganodra is not subject to the usual effects of suffering damage to specific hit locations. However, if it takes damage to two legs equal to or more than the legs’ hit points, it can no longer make claw attacks; if it takes damage to its head equal to or more than the head’s hit points, it can no longer make a beak attack; and if it takes damage to its body equal to or more than the body’s hit points, it can no longer bite. It regains the use of these attacks when its magic points (and thus hit points) are restored to their maximum value.

Ketrin Olmedar’s Son
Ketrin Olmedar’s Son is a native of Marshedge who always had a fascination with combat and death and gravitated to the cult of Humakt. To show his devotion, he displayed the Death rune everywhere he could, having it embroidered into all his clothing and even having rows of Death runes tattooed across his forehead and a large Death rune tattooed on the back of each hand. On his initiation into the cult of Humakt, he was laid with a geas to never use a shield, but he made up for this by building up his skill with a sword in his off hand, and now he routinely goes about with two swords and wields one in each hand in a fight.
Until very recently, Ketrin’s fighting skills were employed almost exclusively against the undead that occasionally attack from the Marsh. He has put in frequent shifts at Sevenspear Fort, and his swords cut down hundreds of zombies and skeletons. Yet while a part of him exulted in the battle and felt good about defending his community, there was another part that longed for something different. He was fighting the good fight, but it was all the same, over and over. While he never spoke of these feelings to anyone, at some level he was hoping for a change, and for some way to make a difference on a larger scale than defending one village.
When the Cult of the Shard came to the village and offered a glimpse of some greater force, it found Ketrin a ready convert. Hungry for something else to believe in, Ketrin listened gladly to all Deradi’s honeyed words, and didn’t doubt any of his preaching and promises. The Cult of the Shard could lead to great things, and he wanted to be a part of it. He threw himself into his new cause and became one of Deradi’s more fervent supporters, helping to build the cult’s new temple and moving into it when it was finished.
There remained the matter of his prior allegiance to come to terms with. At first, Ketrin resolved that being initiated in this new cult would mean severing his ties to the old. He sliced and scoured the tattoos on his forehead, leaving him with ugly scars, and cut into his scalp above them the symbol of the (false) Spike Rune Deradi had shown him. But before effacing the tattoos on his hands, he had a second thought. Surely if Humakt were a good and just god, he would support the cult of the Spike, and wouldn’t begrudge Ketrin’s joining it, as long as he continued to honor the war god as well. Surely Ketrin could retain Humakt’s gifts and favor and serve both Humakt and the shard. And so instead of trying to cut out the tattoos on his hands, he added to them, realizing that by adding a chevron on top he could make them into a combination of the Death rune and the Spike rune.
Not everyone in Marshedge, however, took to the newcome cult as readily as Ketrin did. There were those who actively opposed it and spoke against Deradi and his followers. Ketrin was incensed; didn’t these people see the truth they were denied? Didn’t they see they were obstructing the growth of something grand? Didn’t they see they were doing evil? And then it occurred to him—if they were doing evil, then they must be eliminated, that the cult might continue unimpeded. And with the gifts that Humakti had given him, he would be the one to do it. To ensure his victims’ deaths would be even more certain, he bought some deadly poison from the local herbalist that he would apply to his weapons before he struck.
Ketrin’s current activities might not be in line with Humakti’s philosophy, but despite that and his joining the cult of the Shard, Ketrin has kept following his geases, and at least so far Humakti has not revoked his gifts. However, Ketrin will not use his rune magic unless he absolutely has to; he knows his relationship with Humakti may be tenuous, and doesn’t want to push things too far. (This is why he’s been taking out his victims with his swords instead of using sever spirit.)
As of the beginning of the scenario, Ketrin has only killed two people. However, he has a list of further intended victims, and more people are going to die if the adventurers don’t put a stop to it.

it's been 4 fucking years so I'm revising this list. rating the Thalmor:
Elenwen: 7/10. gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss. pure poise and very smart compared to the rest of the cast. the only one in the game who understands how military intelligence and espionage work, and the only Thalmor to understand tact. absolute genocidal racist war criminal of course, but that goes without saying.
Ancano: 2/10. It's been 11 years and I still don't know what Ancano was actually trying to accomplish aside from being Evil. only second to Elenwen regarding tact but the bar is low. also his voice is annoying and he's ugly unless you mod the shit out of him. why is he a tesblr sexyman I don't understand.
Ondolemar: 10/10. Actual tesblr sexyman for that single line of dialogue that 90% of players won't even hear. evil himbo. still a charming, amusing, lazy dumbass. between doing Literally Nothing to Talos-worshippers in Markarth (the temple of Talos is still open?????) and being willing to make a distraction so you can break into his own embassy (after he ruins any diplomatic rapport Elenwen has built of course) Ondolemar is not only useless to the Thalmor but actively harmful to them. best Thalmor hands down.
Rulindil: 5/10. Middle of the road. not very smart but at least he does his job, unlike the previous two on this list. not very well of course but he does do it. mildly amusing watching him taunt and threaten Gissur though I guess.
Ancarion: 9/10. he's nice and is the most reasonable npc in the game, abduction and torture aside. though he is willing to try methods other than torture and force - like, you know, paying the LDB like a normal person or even just giving up and leaving without complaint - which means he has better judgement and conflict resolution skills than most of the population of Skyrim.
Captain Valmir: 15/10 I would never change his rating except to make it higher. love this stupid fucker.
Estormo: 1/10. why did they even bother to name this guy?
J'datharr: 4/10. I love that the other Khajiit instantly sell him out bc he makes no attempt whatsoever to put effort into this whole infiltration thing. that they also leave him behind is just a bonus. otherwise he is nothing to speak of.
Agent Lorcalin:
Agent Sanyon: 6/10. he gets a posthumous honorable mention for 1) being 100% right and smarter than his peers, 2) hey he may have died but he was outnumbered and still took out multiple people so kudos to him.
Shavari: 1/10. I don't think I've ever encountered this character alive. either the Riften guards or my followers always take her the fuck out first. RIP.
Malborn: 0/10 I literally find the actual Thalmor more tolerable to him. he fucked around and won't stop crying about finding out. Please shut up and refrain from running headlong into the frost troll.

The Sims 2 Playable Tutorial
Hello everyone,
I created this blog pretty recently. I've no idea what I'm doing so I accept any tips.
But anyway…
Quite some time ago I felt like playing with Tutorial sims but I wasn't sure if there's conversion. I found one but then I realised it's gonna have clones and other stuff, as it's put right from game. Then I just thought I'm gonna make my own recreation. I decided to make it fully playable, without useless and/or corrupted data, and without the tutorial sim clones.
I am not too good at recreating houses, so I downloaded a really well made recreations from MTS - 3 Sim houses were made by fiona13 (1)(2)(3) and Creative Textures were recreated by PhilosophicalDebate.
I made this on Ultimate Collection, so it's probably required to work.
Download:
Main Hood
Subhood
Things that are different between the original tutorial and my recreation:
some minor stuff like file numbers, cuz it's a recreation and not conversion
name (it's now The Tutorial, cuz if it was just Tutorial then the game would break it a little)
This one has a subhood version if anyone wants it
there is only one set of Tutorial couple because I didn't want clones. They live in the New Gameplay house
As there by default are 2 Tutorial Janes and 3 Tutorial Joes with different interests, I gave them the interests from New Gameplay version
Joe and Jane have simple descriptions now (copied from Castaway Stories version of tutorial)
Family and Neighbourhood descriptions are copied from The Sims Wiki. These are just some info copied from their respective page.
some outfits may be inaccurate, because I couldn't really check them while making (everyday outfit is how it should be tho)
everyone who has parents (so our Tutorial sims and their parents) now have recessive genes. I chose what made sense in my opinion.
all ancestors have data now and are safe to resurrect (used Carrit's recreations cuz I love these)
Ancestral sims have random interests as I thought it won't really affect them anyway
Playables and their ancestors have full set of memories. I looked at all the tutorial sims on sims wiki and put their memories together, fixed order, and added what's missing. Decided to give ancestors basic memories as well.
I decided to set the Tutorial episode pictures as neighbourhood storytelling
NPCs dont have their thumbnail pictures, but it's not a problem as the game will generate them new ones once it needs them
If anyone had mismatched genetics now they're fixed as I didn't really check if someone does so, so I gave them the genes according to their look
I'm really unsure if all NPCs worked how they should as some of them were in Default bin but now they all should work just fine
Andrew Todd has a different outfit in my version than in game. It doesn't change anything about his character, he's still a firefighter but now blue
Social Worker NPC now has a normal Social Worker name instead of 'Social Worker Social Worker'

Espresso Might Be A Twist Villain
SPOILERS!!! You have been warned
Reason 1 : A strong dislike for light magic. In many of the story modes he participates in, he is constantly scorning light magic. This is probably a result of his childhood, since he grew up in the Night Market, or the slums of the Créme Republic. He scorns it for being useless, and that’s because in the Créme Republic they pray to such magic and divine beings. He may resent light magic for not saving him or the people who live there from that place. His dislike for light magic causes him to lean towards coffee magic, which has more of an ominous feeling leaning towards dark magic with it
Reason 2 : Frost Queen’s Kingdom Arena banner. This may seem very random, but if we pull up the image, we can see something rather concerning
Here, we have Pitaya Dragon and all of the Cookies of Darkness pictured on the “evil” side. But then, Espresso is up in the corner (right under the word “upgraded” if you can’t find him). This may seem like very circumstantial evidence, and Devsis may have just slapped him there for artistic purposes, but it’s a bit concerning. While Affogato hadn’t been released quite at this time (close, but not quite), Red Velvet is a villain who could have been placed there. It’s a bit suspicious that Devsis put Espresso there, and this could be a form of foreshadowing, since it’s so small but in plain sight.
Reason 3 : He knows a bit too much for comfort. I get it, he’s a scholar with insomnia, he probably knows a lot more than the average character. But there are points in the story mode of, “how do you know that?” Such being, he somehow knew that soul jams granted the Ancients eternal youth. How did he find that out? You can’t just open a book and find that information out. Dark Cacao, Pure Vanilla, and Hollyberry did not react as if they personally knew him, and we can highly infer that if Golden Cheese’s friends didn’t know where she lived, some scholar probably wouldn’t either. How did he find that out about the Ancients, unless he had access to a soul jam, such as White Lily’s, who leads the Cookies of Darkness as Dark Enchantress. If he was secretly working with the CoD, he would possibly know this information.
Reason 4 : He has the motivation to become a villain. We learned in the new Cookie Odyssey update that Espresso came from the Lower City, which is the very run-down, messy part of the Créme Republic. Life is hell down there, to put it simply. Baumkuchen is seen healing cookies down there, and none of the NPCs act like they want to be there. Seaweed even remarks how the cookies of the Upper City have a much more flamboyant burial than just being buried in the mud in the Lower City. Espresso only made it into the Upper City because of his research, and could resent them for that. He hates frivolous events and outfits. Espresso is smart, and knows he could have been stuck in the Lower City the rest of his life, and he could be motivated by that. He still keeps connections in the Lower City, so he may be plotting to help them.
Reason 5 : He possesses great power (too much for it not to become a plot point). At the very end of Cookie Odyssey Part 2 Day 3, Espresso creates a new soul jam (accidentally) by spilling coffee onto it. He remarks how it resonates with his soul, and how he felt a surge of power. We know soul jams are very powerful. The CoD are after them, the Créme Republic wanted them, and a whole war was fought over them. When Hollyberry and Dark Cacao clashed, it caused a huge spectacle. I mean, even game wise, the Ancients are much better than other cookies of the same class. And each of these soul jams somehow are an extension of the character. The Light of Truth for Pure Vanilla, The Light of Passion for Hollyberry, and The Light of Resolution for Dark Cacao, their soul jams seem to connect with them somehow. Based on Espresso’s remarks, we can assume this new soul jam is going to function the same way for him. This soul jam is going to be an extension of himself, because it seems to resonate with him. Espresso seems to be able to harness this power, yet we can only infer it based on the other Ancients because we haven’t seen him in action. Between his voice lines in that moment and previous knowledge from the other Ancients, we can assume he now possesses great power. To discard that without any thought would be foolish on Devsis’s part, and now he’s very significant to the story. I mean, the guy has single-handedly turned himself into a very powerful cookie. Even if this power isn’t used for evil, it will be an important plot point
Now this is just a theory, and there’s plenty of info that could have been used, but then easily disproven by other info. For example, when the soul jams are stolen, we could assume that he was part of that, since he would know a lot about the container holding it. But he had unlimited access to them in the lab, so it would make no sense for him to be part of that. Some of my evidence is circumstantial, but I believe there’s just a bit too much to be blown off without thought. Though I kinda hope he doesn’t turn evil, I also kinda hope he does. I don’t know, he’s one of my favorites, but a villain arc no one was expecting would be cool.
