But isn’t JK sort of "queer cleansing" in Ch 2?

All those women in his MV’s who he had zero chemistry with but not a single reference to being into men (not that I expect that of course, being from a homophobic country. More like being in the closet, unfortunately.. but still).

I think his side of Ch 2 is interesting, based on the past ten years up until the military announcement— which is when this sudden "flipped switch" from disliking/being indifferent about dating women, refusing to sing "girl" in a Jason Derulo cover and being the object of other men’s affection, to singing about boinking women seemed to happen.

If the blurry video wasn’t true, I wonder if BH didn’t rush to clean it up because it kind of worked out to help with JK’s new "ladies man" image 💀💀 His face isn’t even decipherable but at least half the fandom ate that up!

To some extent I guess.

Heteronormativity and queer cleansing are two related but distinct concepts so I hope you are not confusing the two as one and the same in this case.

Heteronormativity in this sense is promoting hetersexuality and images of it as the standard or mainstream idea of something. For instance, what is the purpose of choosing a female lead to play the role of love interest besides the fact that that is just how things are done in the industry??

At this point it doesn't even matter at all the female you cast, it just has to be A female to play the role. It's not political, it doesn't speak to the sexual orientation of the individual, it's just what sells and what is considered the norm or standard way of doing things. You could replace the female subject with an inanimate object and the message of love and affection will not be lost.

Over using female as love interests without allowing for much diversity in music visuals has led to a situation where the woman has become a neutral marker in art. Much like words such as Man or other masculine forms gained neutrality and universality such that where you see man or dude or guy in a text you don't necessarily think they are referring strictly to a man, it's the same for women. They are there because they are expected to be there.

We are not wired to see their presence in MVs as contributing any unique or significant meaning to the story telling.

However seeing two men or two women portrayed as leads and love interests adds a political dimension to the message of the song or story of the MV.

It's why visuals such as Blood Sweat and Tears and the whole visual album of HYYH era speaks to many of us. Other wise they are all men, they can just sit and shout into a mic cos no one wants to see them grope each other- it's gay.

It's also why a producer will tell Tae to find a female to sing a part he wrote for Jimin on his personal song- it wasn't because a female voice was required for the song but simply unconventional for two men to sing a duet of that kind.

That's heteronormativity not queer cleansing.

A cleanse is an intentional act meant to please an audience, to calm their wrath and to portray conformity to the desires of the masses.

Heteronormativity is unconscious biases and decisions that are meaningless in themselves and are done not just to please but for the sheer reason that that is what we know and have come to accept as the norm.

I guess the difference is, did Jungkook have a choice other than choosing a female character for the role? No. To choose a male character for such a role would be so political and revolutionary because it would be going outside the norm.

Having a female lead is just a trend. For straight people, if they want to be "political" they often cast the real object of their affections and discard the paid models and artists. JB did that with his wife and uhm- what's the name of the dude who said his lungs under water but was breathing fire?

Queer cleansing is not just about heteronormativity. Promoting and using women as leads is not necessarily a cleanse.

It's heteronormative because whether he is in Korea or not, whether his country is conservative or not, whether he is gay or not, he would have casted a female as lead because it is expected and normalized.

I mean, why else would they have casted female leads for their mv way back when they were starting out, as young as they were, as young as he was?

Why else would he date a girl when he had no feelings whatsoever for her.

Why else were they made to pick up girls and demonstrate how they would ask a girl out or kiss a girl as entertainment disregarding the fact not all of them might have been into girls.

Let me leave you with this imagery:

Heteronormativity, like right handedness, or able bodiedness is the default setting of society. Manufacturers create products build cars, roads on the assumption that every one is right handed able-bodied straight individual and every thing in society is made to cater to this group bu default.

So sometimes when people create products to cater to the audience we can't say they are making revolutionary statements or even deliberately being discriminatory- they doing so simply because it's how things are done.

Jungkook might simply film an MV that way because that's how things are done in the industry.

I hope in the future he realizes this challenge and goes out of his way to challenge it not because he is queer but because he desires to bring change and uniqueness into the world.

And you are right. There are so many instances of hybe cleaning up his image or putting him through queer cleansing- I just don't think the MV is one of those.

Like I said, even his own fans try to queer cleanse his image by cooking up straight rumors and attacking people to try to suppress and disassociate him from any queer narrative.

And it's a cleanse because they do this with the understanding that portraying him as queer is harmful to his image or reputation or even a threat to his commercial success such as them tearing down his banners and even banning BTS in certain places because they seem "gay" smh

honestly the most tragic thing about the next level fiasco is that everything is up to par with sm standards. the visuals in the mv, the performance the girls give, the styling. but the song is so fucking lackluster.

next level sounds more like a preview medley for an upcoming album than an actual song. resonance, despite the butchering they did to raise the roof, make a wish, 90s love & work it worked so much better because it IS a medley. it’s supposed to present four songs in one. four ALREADY EXISTING SONGS!!

one worked because they took the stronger parts from infinity & monster & mixed them together

zimzalabim worked because it’s supposed to resemble a roller coaster structurally & leaves you wanting more

i got a boy is so genius it has been dubbed the bohemian rhapsody of kpop because of the perfect blend of genres & the great transitions

next level has none of these. it sounds half-baked, & maybe if it had been presented with a mini album featuring the songs this was frankensteined from it would’ve worked better & it wouldn’t be as jarring because we would still be able to refer to their original sources. but it wasn’t because sm is more interested in testing their wack theories with aespa instead of letting them work like the well-trained musical group they are. aespa deserve better, they’re way too talented for this

lord was this a powerful first comeback !

fans are very aware of their sugar vs spice concept but didn’t expect them to pull out this old school hip hop spice song so quickly 

fans ate up the drastic change in styling and the attitude of the girls on stage

it was easy to tell piper and soyee enjoy their spice songs more cause lord was their stage presence amazing !

despite having cuter personalities, the other girls also did a really good job embodying the song and concept 

especially mika, which had fans shocked

like that girl was dominating the stage and it was such a drastic change from her sweet and cute persona during their debut era

speaking of performing, wow did they have a lot of stages and performances

sugar drops were definitely concerned for the girls since they barely had a 3 month resting period and now were constantly completing schedules 

the girls of course tried to ease the fans’ concerned by saying how they couldn’t wait to be back with their sugar drops and were enjoying having such a busy schedule 

no but seriously the girls were literally always doing something

when they weren’t performing, going on variety or radio shows, shooting for commercials, etc they were filming for their vlog series, hosting vlives, completing solo activities, and more

the girls barely rested and you could tell how tired they were at the end of the promotional period

their tiredness didn’t stop them from being their usual social butterflies though !

also yuri started her own little vlive series where she teaches sugar drops how to make needle felt creations :(

the styling still kept that retro feel from their debut era but this time around it was more 90s inspired

once again, their stylists are in love with hair clips so if a girl didn’t have a bucket hat or bandanna on, then her head was filled with barrettes and cute little butterfly clips

josie and piper both kept their naturally dyed hair colors

mika’s hair started out a more fuchsia color that blended into pink but by the end of the promotion cycle it had faded into a pink to blonde ombre 

soyee dyed her hair a nice orange shade

Um okay so I’ll go with explaining BTS and TXT I guess, haha. For BTS it was DNA! That was the first mv I ever saw by them and I was instantly obsessed with everything about it. For TXT, it was obviously Crown since I was keeping an eye on them as soon as BH announced a new group haha. But I initially loved the super bright and happy concept from Crown and they totally got me hooked by their personalities and other music!!

I love teddy bears. I have two that I sleep with every night! One is a gift I got for preschool graduation (eloquently named Teddy) and the other is my iron man build a bear that my uncle bought me to cope with Endgame.

tell a funny story about yourself (or just something that you’ve witnessed)

This took way more digging in my mind than I would like to admit but when I saw 5sos live in 2016 my best friend and I had soundcheck, so we got to sit in the venue early and ask them questions and hear a few extra songs. At the time I had beef with Luke Hemmings (because the girl he was dating at the time was one of the most toxic people on earth) and he wouldn’t break up with her. So the girl sitting next to me at soundcheck raised her hand to ask Luke a question so of course he was looking basically right at me. We were like maybe 8 rows back from the stage and at this point in my life I had bright pink hair, so there was no missing me. So this girl is asking her innocent question, and naturally Luke looks around a bit and we make eye contact and instead of fangirling like a normal person, my anger at him boiled over and I ended up flipping him off. The whole band noticed and had to pretend they weren’t laughing at the oddly aggressive 9th grader who flipped off their lead singer. I still feel bad about it to this day lmao but all my friends think it’s hilarious and it’s definitely my go to party story.

The US education system has massive holes. I was lucky enough to attend a pretty good highschool and take good classes so I don’t feel like I was as robbed as other people, but there are curriculum gaps and misinformation everywhere you go. As far as college goes, I think it is wayyyy too expensive. Despite that, I still signed myself up for 8 years of debt so yes, I am a slave to the GPA. Gotta go hard for the dream job.

Taeyeon was born in Seoul, South Korea and lived there until age 5, when her mother passed away from cardiac arrest, moving away to America (more specifically, Los Angeles) with her father, who was a neurologist, and her younger brother

During the time she was in Korea, she was childhood friends with G-Dragon of Bigbang, but they lost contact after she moved

Taeyeon wanted to be a criminal profiler during her childhood

Hi! I’ve actually hated tswizzle for a long time, and I’m sure I’ve said something about it before, but I guess either I was too vague or tumblr ate my posts because I cannot find what I’ve said. 

Anyway I guess this is as good a time as any to get my thoughts down. 

Firstly these two posts very much sum up the bulk of why I can’t stand her (and why I left the fandom and stopped defending her). 

besides that, please understand two things about me for context: 1) I’m a black/indigenous/latineh person who grew up in the Delta and 2) I was team Tswizz since day one. And so for me it’s a bit more personal. It shouldn’t be! She did what she felt she needed to do to get money and be famous and I fell for the pr! But I am still really irritated to here we are.

By far one of my biggest issues with Swift is the fact that she built her career on the Small town rural aesthetic uwu, letting all her fans take the heat for supporting her, even though she’s not even really rural in the way she was propping herself up to be (like half my life was spent on various farms, I know rural) and then when she dropped country music because she could make more money with pop, a lot of her fans followed her into the new genre even though she still made the same whiny garbage about haw she’s the victim in every situation even in the situations where she was the asshole, if you can believe the narratives that she was trying to peddle, and THEN has the fucking nerve to have that one MV Where she makes poor rural folk out to be nothing but bigots trying to hate on all these distinguished gays??? Fuck off!!! like I know the bigger picture was that she hates poor people and she likes to use rich minorities as props to shield herself from criticism but like!!! putting that aside for just a second, you don’t think rural Americans are overwhelmingly people of color???? and even more than that, how dare she demonize the very people who stood behind her in the beginning! She built her whole fucking career from us! Us small town rural folk and then she had the audacity??? the unmitigated gall to try and act like we’re the backwards ones? Like you know there are queer people who are poor and rural right?

AND EVEN MORE THAN THAT THE CMA’S ARE WELCOMING HER BACK WITH OPEN ARMS?? REALLY? SHE SPAT ON YA’LL BUT I GUESS IT’S FINE SINCE SHE RE-RELEASED FEARLESS

Now don’t get me wrong I one hundred percent hate cmt and the cmas It’s far too white and it always has been, especially seeing as country music came from black folk. The CMT and the CMAs have always been about upholding a narrative of these benevolent and heroic whites, and down playing the history of genocide, slavery , and institutionalized oppression that bipoc face in this country, while using black and indigenous aesthetics to sell it. And in that respect, TS is not that much different than all the other country singers who profit off of the country aesthetic like this

But it still pisses me tf off!

In conclusion if you made it this far, I hate Swift with a burning passion it makes me cringe when people praise her and if you’re reading this and you hate H buckle tf up because eventually you’ll be like me, pure foaming at the mouth cause this despicable person is everywhere and everyone one loves them and even after more than a decade you’ll still get people curious as to why you hate an absolute menace.

VIXX: Shangri-La in Sydney 171127

“What a bunch of wonderful dorks who can dance and sing good!” is my major takeaway from this show.

Firstly can I say I am bitter and sad that I didn’t get the VIXX fan at the merch stand because it was SOLD OUT. It was so pretty! And affordable! I just wanted to pretend I was in the Shangri-La MV sob. That was by far the saddest part of the evening. @proteinscollide can testify I got all sulky about it.

But on going in every attendee got this card, awwww!! (That’s all I got, in the cheapest seats. The higher tiers had stuff like autographed posters, access to a hi-touch, etc.)

Vixx started with a bang - Fantasy, complete with an explosion of streamers, followed by Desperate. The audio wasn’t great, and I think in the Big Top it’s just never gonna be that good for pop music, but they have such a nice energy and their choreo is so gooooood. The background visuals were slick throughout the night and everything just worked.

Love Me Do was so good and N’s dance break was SO GOOD, and oh my gosh I’ll never be over Chained Up. I do wish the lights had been less intense and flashy. Vixx are good enough that they didn’t really need the streamers or strobe lighting or the smoke machine - all that stuff was just distraction, tbh.

They then took a break to do some ments and chat about what each of the members had been doing, since it had been a while since they promoted as a group. They all sat down on chairs with the translator off-stage (like a disembodied voice!) and it was one of the most casual, relaxed ments I’ve ever seen.

Leo talked about being in the musical The Last Kiss, and Ken about being in Titanic, and each sung a bit of a song. We were also shown a photo of Ken winking, informed “Ken is winking”, and then witnessed a REAL LIVE WINK. Oh my god Ken why are you like this. (A recurring them thru the evening tbh.)

N had also been in a musical, though in Japan - they showed a photograph of him with one of his co-stars, who coincidentally had also been in Leo and Ken’s musicals! A small musical world, clearly. N then sang a little, after initially pretending to forget the words, then sang so much that Ken trolled him and yelled STOP again oh my god Ken.

Hongbin had been in a drama and showed us various cute photos including him in a ridic apron. Hyuk filmed a drama and a movie, I think? And Ravi had done solo rap stuff - which included a tour date in Sydney earlier in the year - and hosting TV show Style Follow.

Leo and Ravi teased us by singing a little bit of Vixx-LR’s Whisper; and Ravi was adorably flustered when he initially kept forgetting the words.

They then sang a couple of slower songs, still in their seats, before disappearing off stage for costume changes.

A fascinating VCR played showing each member doing something very spooky and supernatural. Each of them was a callback to an MV, apparently, though tbh I didn’t make that connection straight away. Hongbin was in a room of mirrors, seeing a darker version of himself in the reflections; Ken was first blindfolded and then all glowy-eyed; I think Ravi was Chained Up? Leo had a voodoo doll? Hyuk was uh something? N had flowers… Sorry, my memory fails me.

ANYWAY then they came back in satiny red shirts for SHANGRI-LA, THE GREATEST CHOREO OF ALL TIME, FIGHT ME. I just love Shangri-La so much. The song, the fan dance, the everythingggggg.  Then they killed us all by following up with Black Out aka LEGSSSSS. Just leave me here forever ok.

They had another ment with various questions on post-it notes, which they took MUCH too much time selecting tbh, but in the end the results were cute:

Ken yelled “let’s get it!” like an enormous dork then spent like five minutes selecting a post-it. In the end he chose such a boring one - “what did you do during your flight” (by the way, all of them doing dubious scrunchy faces or making ‘uhhhhhhh’ sounds before they read out the English notes was super adorable) and he answered it so cheesily oh my god: “Thinking about Starlights!” he said, before another member said, “Okay but what did you REALLY do?” L O L. So yeah they all like, slept and ate and watched movies or read. Cool.

N was asked about sight seeing in Sydney - he said he and Ravi went to Bondi Beach and took photos, and walked across - “what was it called?” “The Harbour Bridge,” Ravi said helpfully.

Ravi took FOREVER AND A DAY to select a question, and in the meantime Ken was like a hyperactive child. In fact he was like that through the whole ment - constantly fidgeting, or dancing the cha cha, or trying to grab N’s hands, goodness.

Ok Ravi was asked about what he’d do after the concert - he said eat and sleep in the hotel. N called him boring and hit him, before helpfully adding that Ravi liked fish and chips. (Someone in the audience yelled out “678 Eastwood” which is the Korean restaurant EVERY SINGLE KPOP GROUP EVER dines at when they’re in Sydney. I have no doubt that’s exactly where they went. *checks facebook* Oh my god, the restaurant even pre-announced it, good lord.)

Leo was asked if he had visited the Opera House. He said he had gone yesterday on his own and walked around for two hours. He says while he has there (presumably at Opera Bar or nearby) he saw a girl lying on her boyfriend’s lap, and then a group of tipsy girls. One of the tipsy girls took his hat and his phone, and then took a video of herself - then one of the tipsy girls lay down in the boy’s lap and they took a video of that, and used Leo’s phone to send it to herself! He was stunned! (I AM ALSO STUNNED, OMG THE AUDACITY.)

Ravi then piped up with a story from the fish and chip restaurant. So someone asked him if he could please take a photo of them. He thought they meant a photo WITH him - but what they actually meant was a photo of THEM! So he took three photos for them L O L omg poor darling.

Hyuk finally took advantage of the true power of the post-its, i.e. to boss around one of his elders THAT TROLL, and picked one that asked Hongbin to do aegyo. Hongbin VERY RELUCTANTLY posed twice and then was embarrassed, lol.

Hongbin had a similar idea and picked one asking Leo to hop like a kangaroo. Without any encouragement whatsoever, N and Ravi began boxing like kangaroos, while Ken did his own hopping. Leo did eventually hop around and chased Hongbin across the stage for his trouble. But then Ken hopped around AGAIN and I think, oh my god, calling himself a “Kengaroo” oh my god.

Ment over! They sang a couple more slow songs, and then a few more fast ones including my beloved Error (my first Vixx song!), then came back for an encore during which Ken jumped so hard he split his pants and had to finish the stage with a towel wrapped around his waist OH MY GOD KEN WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS.

So yeah I had a really good time! Honestly I’m not even sure they were all at max power - there were moments when I thought they were taking it a bit easy, or weren’t super in sync - but it was such a good, fun, entertaining show!

It’s a pity that the show didn’t sell out. The silver standing section looked especially under populated, and the bronze seats were cordoned off about two-thirds of the way up. 

I think Vixx are a bit of a victim of timing - the last show in a year full of many and very expensive shows, and for an audience that is for the most part younger (i.e. less income) and many of them probably studying at this time of year. Like, I’m a grown adult with a decent full time job, and even I find it pretty painful having to pay these super high prices.

I think the promotors have got to get a bit smarter. Space out the tours more, or drop the prices. High school and uni age ppl can’t be dropping like $150+ per show every two months or so. It’s just not feasible. And it’s not reasonable, in my opinion, for a show like this at the Big Top with minimal staging - bands come from Europe or the Americas, and charge far less than this.

Oh, one final observation - rather surprisingly we were told before the show that photography and videos were not permitted, and rather more surprisingly this was enforced. They weren’t draconian about it (I obviously got a few photos in) but there was a guard telling people to stop recording. Quite unusual! Pretty sure the last time this happened to me I was at some prestige indie show at the Opera House or similar… I’m surprised because it’s not as though they had any new material or secret stuff to showcase, and, like, it’s all free advertising really? SHINee WORLD V in Toronto fanaccount!!

here is general, redacted fanaccount of me seeing shinee in toronto!!! (the one i typed out has 3,470 words because i went into detail for everything lmao

but for those of you who don't know, i got into kpop  in summer 2010 when shinee was releasing the teaser pics for lucifer!! and bc I followed shinee throughout the lucifer promotions, i found the teenietops as they performed clap on music shows lmao going to this concert really reminded me of how much shinee has left an impacf my life

PRE CONCERT

before the concert my friend and i hurried to the venue to get some lightsticks kindly donated by j-shawols (they donated about 900 lightsticks!!!) because none if the canada stops was selling merch ;;;; this is one of the nicest things i have ever seen a fandom do omg;;; i got a light stick from their I'm Your Boy japan concert from 2014

pre concert was basically a hunt for fangoods lmao I got a key fan and banner from keysnote !!! also two jjong banners that my friend has, some photo cards, shinee ribbon, papers with fanchants, and a few glowsticks!! shawol fan goods are of such nice quality???? how???

my friend and i also made some fangoods!! i made shinee hello baby stickers and all 200 of them were gone within 10 minutes omg thank u for the support shawols lmao

we lined up to get into the venue and we were talking with two girls behind us!! one was a shawol and the ither a starlight and we all were listening to shinee music and dancing along because it was so cold

once we were inside the venue, everyone waited in the lobby bc the doors for actual concert hall were closed but the inside was lit up in pearl aqua and it was beautiful!!

I GOT TO MEET ONE OF MY LONG TIME TWITTER PALS AND I'M SO HAPPY???? we've been mutuals for seven years now and we've seen each other go from high school, to uni, to big girl jobs lmao and we've done dumb things like have movie nights and recast kpop idols while we did movie commentary (namely mulan and finding nemo) lmao im so happy we got to meet

CONCERT (also security was rlly tight rip fancams and fanpics)

HITCHHIKING: shinee opened with hitchhiking and it was lit?? BODY WAVES AND GOOD VOCALS??? honestly this song is now the equivalent of how i feel about rocking in some way lmao

PRISM: the music stopped after a few second bc technical difficulties and shawols tried to sing along but it wasn't working out too well lmao but key was like "okay let's take this again from the top" lmaooo THIS SONG WAS GOOD I LOVE IT LIVE

REPLAY: I WAS SHOOK SEEING THIS IN REAL LIFE WAS SO????? i don't have words for how beautiul it was bc they have grown so much aaaa;;; so many technical difficulties with the mics but they played it out professionally and i barely noticed??

LUCIFER: i said i was 100% shook at rdd bUT WHEN THE FIRST NOTE OF LUCIFER PLAYED I WAS 1004% SHOOK AND I DIED AND CAME BACK TO LIFE AND DIED AGAIN. my friend: "she hit my arm so much" look i don't even remember i was having an out if body experience 5 seconds into the song I LOST MY MARBLES so like lucifer started and i did the fanchants and i literally sound like i am dying. like u know when you're screaming at the top of ur lungs and your scream is kinda raspy.m bc you're giving it ur all and you're kinda out of breath. That was me. after the fanchants i was already out if breath and i could feel myself being sweaty lmao BUT FUCK THE CONCERT COULD HAVE BEEN LUCIFER ONLY AND YOU BET I WOULD HAVE DROPPED $250 FOR IT. THIS WAS ALL I WANTED. I DIED. I was dying at key's first solo line, and the part where taem does the dak dak dak in the beginning, and everyone going into a line and taemin does cool dance thing bc he's in the front of the line, and tae's line marked at 2:18 of the lucifer mv, and jjong's solo note, and minho dancing with everyone (i've seen minho dance to lucifer plenty but he had broken ankle when promos started for lucifer), and literally seeing this in real life ??? after lucifer was a talk segment and key was like "i see u guys rlly like lucifer" BINCH @ ME NEXT TIME

SELENE 6.23: THIS WAS SO BEAUTIFUL ??? i never actually heard this song before other than knowing on of the US stops is gonna sing it for encore lmao but everything from arrangement to composition to vocals to the background visuals if the performance was beautiful???

READY OR NOT: i knew this was on the SWV setlist but i was still so shook when they started performing it lmao onew got dizzy at from spinning around during the chorus, and minho was doing so many silly dances lmao go figure that one of my unexpected fav performances from the night comes from the lucifer album

SAVIOR: onew's pls be gentle line. i need it on repeat forever

EVERYBODY: lmao i never made the association that this song is also the song where onew does the propellor arms BUT PROPELLOR ARMS WAS LIT I CAN'T BELIEVE I SAW IT IN REAL LIFE also the crowd was super loud and good at fanchants during this song (same for view!!)

AN ENCORE: the encore was beautiful they had cannons shooting out white confetti and it looked like snow and it was such a beautiful sight bc everyone had white banners, the aqua pearl sea, and snow like confetti raining on everyone

AFTER CONCERT

While everyone left the concert room, they played Honesty like BINCH THAT'S MY FAV SONG

During one of the VCRs, kpop me sent a mass text to like 13 ppl telling us to pick up signed posters (giveaway winners) so that's exactly what I did!! kpopme emailed me saying they couldn't give it earlier because they literally signed it before the doors opened lmao now i can look at the poster and have a timestamp of when it happened

the next day, we were at muji and i opened instagram to see one of key's posts anD HE ATE AT THE PLACE WE ATE BRUNCH RUGHT BEFORE THE CONCERT LIKE BINCH????? HE LOOKED SO CUTE AND HE HAD SOME OF THE FRIES AND PANCAKES AND I ALSO HAD SOME OF THOSE YESTERDAY I'M!!!!!! literally the only place (out of four) we sat and ate, and DIDN'T take a selfie at lmao rip we could have matched in terms of selfie location lmao

OVERALL they really give 110% in their performances. their vocals, and dancing are perfect, and we also got to see them be really silly on stage. i’m really happy shinee came into my life when they did;;; i made so many friends and tbh, with how kpop fandom is like nowadays, i don’t see what happened back in 2010 happening now lmao i feel emo thinking about them back in 2010 because I def know my quality of life was improved by 525% when I started being their fan lol
