As 2023 comes to an end...

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone on Tumblr who helped make this year.

This was my first year ever joining Tumblr, and I was really nervous about it tbh LOL. Because this was the first social media I was joining for the actual social part LMAO. And I'd already seen for years beforehand how awful the internet can be. But I decided to give it a try anyway because Tumblr was literally the social media I was looking for for ages HAHAHA.

Anyway I'm not gonna make this long. Thank you to @the-old-fashioned-girl for helping me get settled into the world of Tumblr (and just, being the best best friend i could've ever asked for. I'm blessed every day just for knowing you), as well as @oatzams. Ty also to my friends @last-aid-kit, @conazpi, @titusthetraveler, and @amadeuslefay! And obviously @gangst3rswife too even if u don't use Tumblr much lol.

As for the amazing people I met on here, there's so many that I'm afraid I'll miss some of y'all 😭. Okay I just finished reading Alabasta and here are my thoughts!!!

Okay I see why people like Vivi so much, and also why people ship her with Nami, they are extremely cute. Reading about her in fic I was a little like 'idk why people consider her part of the crew so much if she's not with them??' but no I get it now I love her. I'm gonna miss her!!

I'VE NEVER RLY THOUGHT ABT THE SECOND QUESTION OMG.... guz would absolutely gift juno a wimpod at some point though,, I like to think they go hunt for wimpods sometimes as a shared interest activity :D guzma would also definitely gift juno a cutiefly early on maybe before they start dating because... how could he not HFSDJKL, he is fluent in bug-types and would want to flirt through bug-types hehe :3 also somewhat related, once he finds out about juno's interest in cataloguing the differences in plants in the different regions, he'd probably look into the alolan variants of pkmn (like vulpix and meowth and rattata etc) and then try to impress juno w his (newly acquired) knowledge JFSJKL

juno would absolutely eagerly help him fill out his bug collection with some sinnoh bug-types that alola doesn't have !! (i need to make a list of bug-types that each region has tbh...) they'd gift him some they had in their storage box, and then help him catch any others when they go to sinnoh together :D

ooh okay i have thought abt this third question a bit fdsjkl it's so fun thinking abt the different personalities of their pkmn :3

golisopod puts on a tough act for like. a day at most. and then immediately crumbles and is actually just a big ol' softie so he warms up to juno pretty much immediately fdsjkl. ariados doesn't like juno very much just because juno's a little afraid of him dsgjkl but eventually the two of them come to some sort of mutual understanding where they get along in a vaguely strained manner (guzma never rly understands why the two of them don't get along well and tries to facilitate some bonding moments that go disastrously sideways somehow every time LMAO). scizor is kind of stand-offish and unsure about juno but once juno hangs around for a while and he sees more of them, then he accepts them as one of the squad! pinsir is a little mean (he's just mischievous tbh) and likes messing with juno but they eventually catch onto his pranks and antics, and turns it back on him one day and that earns his respect LMAO. masquerain is just happy that there's more people in the house and gets along really well with Greer to everyone's surprise, so he's a happy camper :] (at some point i want to create a proper team list for guz and maybe come up w names for them hehe)

Henry is a shy but proud lil guy and doesn't really trust Guz at first but trusts Juno's judgement so he warms up to the big boss man soon enough (plus Guz works hard to get on Henry's good side considering Henry never goes into a pokeball so he's around almost all the time LOL). Greer HATES Guz at first 😭 it takes her a long time to tolerate him - she finally starts turning around on her opinion of him when he helps Juno through a flashback/panic attack that she couldn't calm them down from on her own. Huey is super chill, so there's no issues there fdsjkl, I think he'd get along especially well with the grunts tbh LOL they'd probably try giving him a painkiller one day just to see what would happen and he'd be forever indebted to them (Juno finds out later and loses their mind because painkillers aren't made for pokemon and they have to rush him to a pokecenter to get him checked over JFDSKL). and Grimsby loves everyone, if you give him any bit of attention he'll love you forever, so Guzma gets on his good side pretty much right off the bat :3

1. What’s your favourite sims death? Gotta go with a classic... the cowplant death. I really like cowplants!

2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match? I'm maxis mix, but hair must be maxis match.

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? Nope. I can't think of a reason I would ever need to!

4. Do you use move objects? Yes, but I use the T.O.O.L. mod more (for really accurate placement).

5. Favorite mod? UI Cheats or MCCommand are obviously necessary, but I could not play the game without Lumpinou's mods or custom recipes (Granny's Cookbook is my favorite).

6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? Get to Work, luxury party, and camping GP (outdoor retreat I think? It came in a bundle).

7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? Honest to God I go back and forth on this. Depending on the context I have used both! (I pondered this question for a few minutes but it hurt my poor little dyslexic brain. I just kept going back and forth until I was too confused lmao.)

8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? I really don't have a favorite child. Erwin is probably my favorite townie makeover, but I will always have a special place in my heart for my Carter family OCs.

20. How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? Back when TS4 first dropped I used alpha cc, no custom sliders, no skin overlays, and my sims were very ugly tbh lol. Then I shifted to a hyper cartoon look once I discovered simblr. But now I think I have my own distinctive style that I'm really proud of!

24. How do you edit your pictures? I mostly resize, crop, adjust the exposure and contrast as I see fit, then sharpen the image. I do have a new method for gameplay pics that I learned a few days ago that looks really clean and smooth that I'm excited about too!!! My whole process is pretty low effort as I'm not into that part of the process at all.

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? Strangerville (obviously) and Get Together, the underrated queen!!! The townies are so good and the world is amazing. But really I like any packs that add gameplay (especially family/legacy-centered gameplay).

26. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? Not a whole pack dedicated to horses that's for sure lmao 😅. I really want another city world, or at least a world that has apartments. More hobbies and skills would be phenomenal, like a whole skill game pack or EP dedicated to hobbies and personal passions (reminiscent of TS2 Freetime). More diversity of personality and skills in the game, more careers (not all playable ones like GTW, but I wouldn't object to a few). A skills/hobby pack would be a great pack to include bands and additional instruments. I would like more non-American-based worlds as well.

this man is so hard to get an ACTUAL romance good ending with because hes such a bitch KSHFGSIDUHF.

(I hope u did mean Sulyen and not Sugyn, but i AM gonna use this as an excuse to answer for both anyway &lt;;3)

Sulyen is so so very vain and stuck up and obsessed with himself and such a bitch about it tbh BUT

His route is a LOT of nice dinners and opera house dates and underground concert dates around Cantha. He's got a "human-sona" he uses in Cantha, as he is a mesmer AND not there legally. No one knows he's actually a sylvari. He's also, a "pop star" in cantha so you get some VIP perks from dating him.

The trick to earning his favor is telling him what he wants to hear. How handsome and pretty and better than everyone else he is so he can gloat and say "I knoow~" The more expensive the gifts you can get him, the better. He's also extremely bratty, and will pout and complain EVERYTIME you DONT give him what he wants. He's not very good with boundaries either. :/ He won't cross any hard lines because he NEEDS people to like him but he IS pushy along with being a brat. He'll give up eventually.

BAD ENDING - this happens from you, uh,,,,, being a normal person and finding him a little. too much. LMFAO You wanted him to treat you like you were an equal to him from the start and he was NOT having it. He is CLEARLY better than everyone else ALWAYS. Alternatively, you asked for basic respect a little further down the line of your relationship together and he obliged but you still didn't enable him enough and he lost interest once someone new started showering him in praise and affection. He is, unfortunately or, fortunately, depending on the person I GUESS LMAO, Just Like This.* (He is starved of real affection BUT it doesn't excuse the way he behaves and he won't change. It's somewhat motivated by insecurity but he won't ever unlearn his bad habits. He's Just Like This despite the original motivation behind his behavior.)

GOOD ENDING - You enabled him the entire time BUT you weren't a door mat for him to walk all over. You set hard boundaries and played the games, you demanded respect from him and he liked the confidence behind it and obliged. You got him so many gifts; beautiful flowers, delicious food like bean buns and sweet pastries, beautiful jewelry etc. He liked how confident you were in challenging him now and again despite still drowning him in praise and affection.

You've ended up with a mutual respect with him despite the fact that he IS still a bitch through and through, and extremely vain. and stuck up. and annoying. Atleast he's less annoying now and shares the spotlight with you a little more and a little more often.

BONUS ROUND!!! (just incase and also cause its fun >:3)

Sugyn's route includes a lot of secret hideaway meetups and exchanging note / letters silently. She'll leave letters and gifts on your desk in the dead of night and you'll find them in morning, wondering how she even got in. (*not personal desk inside your house, think more like your office in a room of the pact's current base of operations.) He'll also drag you away in the afternoons or middle of the night for a quiet walk to chat about life lately. Or even just whatever you both have on your mind. She enjoys reliable trustworthy company. She'll do subtlety affectionate things only you know how to spot, or know the meaning of. That specific little smile when she spots you, that specific little adjustment of her hair / clothing when she spots you looking her way, etc.

To her, the order of whispers IS honorable, as they do what must be done to ensure the safety of the orders and others lives no matter the cost or outward appearance of the order. If you're in The Pact and get sent out on a dangerous mission, she's going to trail your squad in secret and eliminate any unaccounted threats. He can't help it, he needs to make sure you're safe. She's the quiet sort and will happily listen to you talk her ear off about anything for hours. She's independent as well, and won't want to spend every moment with you.

Infinite & Rouge for the Ask Game

Infinite

First Impression : His design and powers were cool, but his overly edgy characterization and terrible story writing to go with it just didn't do it for me

Impression now : The power of headcanons and AU's has saved this character for me lmao. I CHOOSE to believe he was written as a tragic character who's acting out of guilt for not being able to save his squad to make him seem more interesting. I don't like what he is in canon, but I do like his potential, what he COULD'VE been. I replayed Sonic Forces for no reason and I found myself laughing at every edgy remark he made this time XD

Favorite moment : I actually prefer the way he was written in the IDW prequel comics over the game, so I'll say that. Is that weird? I got more of an impression of him being more over-confident and sassy in the comics, whereas in the game he just seemed kind of bland in terms of personality? I really hope that's not just me

Idea for a story : Aside from the Shadow the Hedgehog 2 AU, I once had this fun idea where Amy found Infy (that's what I call him lol) after the events of Sonic Forces, and wanted to help him out. I think if there could be anyone to try and redeem Infinite, it would be Amy.

Unpopular opinion : I don't really have any real ones, so, Infinite in a ponytail is supreme

Favorite relationship : He doesn't really have any in canon, so I'll pick one from one of my AU's. Infinite and Eclipse are like brothers, but they absolutely DISPISE one another (unless they're complaining about their mutual hatred for Shadow.) Infinite gets easily angered by Eclipse, but maybe that's because Eclipse will go out of his way to annoy him? Just for fun XD

Favorite headcanon : This is moreso one I made up (Or at least, I haven't seen it,) but I like it a lot. After Sonic Forces, Infinite didn't get absorbed into the Phantom Ruby, but rather, instead, the Ruby transported him into Null Space with the last of its power before shattering. That's where he is now, trapped in the nothing.

First Impression : I didn't really have one, tbh. I was just like "oh, there's a bat too, cool."

Impression now : She's an awesome character, and I REALLY wish she wasn't done so dirty by the fans, because she's a lot more than that. People will joke about her "big personality" when referring to something else when, in fact, she actually DOES have a personality! She's sassy and overall such a queen, I love her.

Favorite moment : Honestly she has a lot of good moments that I can think of at the top of my head, I can't choose just one. (I am NOT very decisive)

Idea for a story : None right now

Unpopular opinion : I don't really have one, so she should team up with Manic. They'd make a great thieving pair lol

Favorite relationship : The one she had with Team Dark in Sonic Universe, no doubt.

Well, in theory there's like. 2-3, depending on if you count the mysterious cloak guy as his own version of Xehanort. But what I understand as a "Xehanort" is just that one guy. He changed bodies a lot though. And some of them lost memories and ended up calling themselves Xehanort. The reason for Actually Fully Xehanort (his heart + body together) #2? Time travel. He went to the past (well. Only his heart did, because that's how it works in KH - that's how Cloak Guy happened!!! It's essentially him but changed because time travel has consequences like that) and took his young adult self back to the present with him. For uhhh. World domination reasons (not really. He just wants to start a war and make a key kinda but ALSO maybe world dominate)

NOW. The other guys. It's basically Xehanort bodyjumping/splitting into two/forgetting who he is and making a new identity for himself. First (?) there was Terra. Xehanort possessed him. That's Xehanort #3/4 (again depending on if you see Cloak as his own version), also known as Terranort. Norted Terra!!! Then he got pissed off at Terra's influence over the body so he got rid of that part of it and that caused him to forget everything. If I remember correctly. Then he went on to become Xehanort #4/5, aka Apprentice Xehanort (because he would kidnap children in the name of Science TM and worked under a different guy. I have to mention him because his name is Ansem (the wise). This will become relevant soon).

Then he either accidentally or on purpose discovered that you can split yourself into a heartless (a being created from your heart, therefore not having a heart of its own) and a nobody (aka your empty shell, no personality, just the body, but "nobody" in spirit. Well some nobodies have personalities and some have even retained their pre-split ones. That's what happened to our guy too...... i guess). So he did that lmao. That gives us TWO new guys:

Ansem (seeker of darkness) (I told you Ansem TW had to be mentioned; this is why. Idk why he calls himself that. He just stole another guy's name and sent him to the hell dimension lmao) the heartless

and

Xemnas ("Mansex") the nobody

who then went on to create a cult.

So that's Xehanorts #5/6 and 6/7. And that's kinda all of them? They only started existing all at the same time when time travel was introduced though, usually it was just one or two guys running around causing trouble.

HOWEVER. Remember how I said Terra got norted? Remember how I said Xemnas started a cult?

WELL. Turns out it was to find candidates for norting!!! Which. Means possession but done by Xehanort specifically. Indicated by white hair and/or yellow eyes (but those traits don't have to mean a person has been norted and vice versa; see also: anti Aqua)

Long story short some people didn't really want to let him inside them (hahah) so that's why he collected his past versions + some guys who really couldn't care less about being possessed. So that, in theory, gives us 7 more Xehanorts (13/14 in total, but the Cloak Version isn't a part of the squad because he really exists just during time travel). Not that bad, right?

I guess there's also several data versions of him and his versions. But tbh I don't feel like getting into that since they mostly exist just to be extra boss fights for tryhards. Mostly. Also tbh I guess if you count all the people running around who may or may not have some Xehanort inside them there's like 20+ of them. But I refuse to spend any more time counting Xehanorts

people often exaggerate the actual number though. Because saying there's 299272519191382 of the same guy is funnier than actually counting them. Jevil: Met during their early days in the Gaster Squad, caught feelings for each other (the feeling was "friendship" but neither one had ever experienced it) started a toxic and horrible relationship that consisted of cheating at games, bickering incessantly, and getting on each other's nerves. Ended because Jevil drew a mustache on Spamton's face while he was sleeping IN PERMANENT MARKER! BEFORE HE HAD TO FILM A COMMERCIAL!

Queen: Okay so she was COMPLETELY just using him to make her shitty ex (King) jealous as in sending him photos like "Hey Look At My New Boyfriend He Has A Car Lol" but on the flip side he was using her for her Wealth and Connections so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Manipulative Power Couple of the Week cause they didn't last any longer than that

Gaster: Kinda one-sided cause Gaster pretty much was like "he is a Science Project :) " so it was 90% Spamton kicking his legs waiting by the phone for his Bestie to call. And then he realized said Bestie was actually trying to turn him into a living puppet and use him against his will so obviously THAT ended. He never really recovered from this one tbh

Jevil again: Got back together, swore they'd never part again and were each other's soul mates true loves etc. Divorced 3 days later

Mike: ??? Not sure if this one ended because of any kind of mutual disagreement actually! Fascinated to learn more about this (unless we get trolled and don't lmao)

Swatch: Got kinda Into It with Swatch during the late stage of his Big Shot era when he couldn't sleep and would be up all night in the cafe drinking and well, needless to say he and Swatch forged a relationship based completely on the fact that they're a pair of Needy Fucking Assholes with no emotional awareness or honesty. Obviously this didn't go well. Swatch's complete inability to stop being a People Pleaser caused him to never ONCE let on that he was 1. Disturbed by Spamton's continuing downfall and 2. Honestly not Feeling It as much as Spamton clearly was so! He thought Spamton's eviction would be an easy out without having to go through any confrontation but Spamton took it as a betrayal!

Jevil AGAIN: Except this one wasn't really so much them getting back together as much as "going on a toxic drunken crime spree with your ex because your lives are spiraling downwards and you want to make every bad decision known to man" they were both at rock bottom at this point. Dozens were killed. Jevil went to prison a week later for unrelated charges, if you can believe it

Jake and Hitchcock: always down to do weird shit

Jake and Terry: each other's role model in any area, genuinely care and fangirl with each other all the time.

Jake and Holt: the father like love is everything to them - they love and care for each other no matter how many times they fight. Just *chef's kiss*.

Rosa and Terry: how they keep being amazed with each other's qualities and skills (also see: DAMN ROSA) and the mutual "look like they can kill you but are actually a cinnamon roll" vibe

Rosa and Charles: the progress from Charles being in love with Rosa, to realizing it's never gonna happen, to accepting and moving on without hard feelings, to being best friends and trusting and being happy for each other. One of my favorite storylines.
