[MA: Cross Crisis Episode 5]
An excript from the Cross Crisis Wiki's Official Episode List
Season 1 Episode 5: "Cross Hunt"
Maurice and Bishop end up in the hunt of their lives when a new Parasite takes over the history teacher and manages to catch the hero in a deadly trap.
Meanwhile, Hector and Molly have started to connect the dots between Maurice's sudden disappearances, and the activity of Paine Town's new secret guardian. When they realise their friend is in trouble, the duo may be the only way Cross makes it out alive! ---
A new event art for Myriad Anthology where we put our characters and stories in completely different genres or mediums. Here's the Cross story, but as a title card for a 2000s Saturday morning cartoon!

The Eye of Providence, is a symbol with particular significance for the Free Masons. It appears on the reverse of all dollar bills in the U.S. as well. The somewhat 'secretive' and mysterious Free Mason organization included many of the founders of the United States of America and even many American Presidents have been members. H. P. Lovecraft mentioned that the "Old Masonic Hall" in his tale, THE SHADOW OVER INNSMOUTH, had been usurped and converted to a temple or meeting center for the monstrous members of THE ESOTERIC OF DAGON. In that tale - one of Lovecraft's finest - HPL connects Dagon and his minions to the later and origional entity, Great Cthulhu. Dagon was an actual diety worshipped in ancient history whilst Cthulhu was purely Lovecraft's own invention. Lovecraft's Dagon was somewhat altered in nature from the historical figure, however. Though HPL himself was probably never a Mason personally he likely saw some interesting fiction writing inspiration in the organization. The Free Masons would eventually be associated with the Knights Templars and also with the fabled 'Illuminati'. Lovecraft found story writing themes in nearly all established, myths, religions, fringe organizations, folklore, and conspiracy theories of his time. Though he advised future writers of horror or supernatural fiction to avoid using the old stale themes of warewolves, witches, ghosts, demon possession, and haunted houses, in their tales, he himself fiddled with all of these, each time suggesting that there were far greater horrors BEHIND THEM ALL! The illustrations below on the lower left and right were created by your curator many years ago in pen and ink. (Exhibit 484)

Guys. Guys please. We have to remember that protagonist is not a stand in word for hero and antagonist is not a stand in word for villain. Please. We learned this in middle school. The protagonist is the character the audience follows. The antagonist is the character who is working against the protagonist.

i think its really really important to remember how EASILY stan couldve dropped a "now i have to deal with you BRATS for the summer.." or ford to slip a "dont let these snotty little children near my lab again, stan." but instead they never do that like. idk.
i like how the show makes it a very important and clear point that at least hear, the twins are Loved and Cherished and Wanted. so very wanted.
stan ADORES THEM. in his bones. hes trying to give them freedom but he is so so worried.
ford goes from growling to MELTING on sight "shermie had kids?" they are his babies.
its a very good and nice point like. these children are Loved and Wanted and their guardians are trying so hard and that is the bare minimum. and Not loving your kids is a bad fucked up thing to do with bad consequences.

The primary reason why Masons admitted women into the Craft was to head off the accusation that men-only Lodges were homosexual debauches. The accusation was particularly insistent in France, where it was widely believed that homosexuality was the Craft's notorious secret, and that the rituals were a naked initiation into sodomy. The fact that, in Paris, members of the gay subculture used secret hand gestures and code-words to meet one another in safety from the authorities only increased the suspicion. Homosexuals even started adopting Craft terminology among themselves, calling one another 'Brother', for example.

Doodles for an AU I’ve been simmering in my mind where Bill ends up stuck possessing Ford in the 80s, and he and Stan begrudgingly agree to help each other try get Ford back and free Bill.
And when I say simmering I mean brainrot. I have brainrot. Someone help me.
Stan and Bill are such a fascinating dynamic to explore, especially in a situation like this.

[MA: The Mason Brothers Summer Skatin]
Another image made for my comic group: Myriad Anthology, showing the Mason brothers enjoying some summertime fun! Maurice and Derrick are spending a day at a nearby skatepark, this would be the summer before the events of the webcomic, The Masons, take place.

dipper is a weirdly special kind of character to me because I was that type of kid, the one who wanted to grow up too fast and got irritated at their sibling not taking things too seriously and never wanting to seem childlike. i connected heavily with him, and honestly the entire arc of Gravity Falls being in part about him learning to just be a kid really helped me in the long run. it was a great wake up call seeing a character so similar to me at that age learn to finally stop trying to be an adult before i was ready.
