#sasha speaks#symphony 2. wooow#the lush strings. those american style chords. the orchestration with the touches of harp and celesta and snare and brass...#the english horn and bass clarinet...ughh it's gorgeous writing#and that finale. what an ending!! that huge sfortz in the whole ensemble to subito pianissimo violins sustaining al niente#wooooww. i knew i liked still before since covering his first symphony in music history class but this is my first time hearing him live#and it's amazing. oughh#and beethoven 6 is next...cannot BELIEVE i got this ticket for less than twenty american dollars#such luck
