Do you ever see a take so bad it makes you viscerally react to it? like imagine watching nwh, hell the whole home trilogy, and your only takeaway is that MJ was a “useless, boring character” or that she did nothing to help Peter?? Sorry you can't understand the fact that people don't need to have powers to help someone?

Because can we talk about this scene? 

Peter is wrought with guilt after everything that’s just happened. MJ holds his face as she tells him “we’re gonna get through this and we’re gonna get through this together.” She holds his hand. She comforts him. She just sits with him. 

It’s not always about being able to fight. It’s about emotional support. It’s about helping your friend/lover stay true to themselves even in moments of wild grief and anger. 

The other two spideys show up at first to SUPPORT PETER. Not to fight.

So many times throughout this movie, Peter’s loved ones (May, Ned, AND MJ) keep him grounded when everything is falling apart. 

if you honestly can’t see how important that is to Peter and you think it’s just about being a good sidekick, then you don’t understand the character.

MJ does this throughout the entire movie, and it’s from the very beginning; right after the identity reveal in the crowd, at Peter's apartment, on video chat, on the roof. And that's just in the first twenty or so minutes. 

She becomes the optimism he needs and makes him hope when he becomes jaded after May’s death. 

there is no Spider-Man without the people he loves and the impact they've had on him. And in the MCU, there is no Spider-Man without MJ, Ned, and May. Even with the ending, Peter carries May's moral compass, kind heart, and sense of responsibility; Ned's loyalty and humor; and Michelle's love and optimism, forward with him. He's able to continue being Spider-Man at the end because of May's words to him and because Ned and MJ are okay.

And I don’t even wanna get into the whole “MJ Watson’s not coming back/oh well she lost her memories!!” thing bc that itself is a post for another time.

Fellow The Betrayer lover here 👋 I’ve really gotta say that it’s such a piece of art. Absolutely no pressure, but purely out of curiosity, as I really cannot wait for more: any updates?

And yes I am working on chapter 10 of The Betrayer in tandem with chapter 4 of Half-Life! My goal is to finish Half-Life chapter 4 first and put it on hiatus so I can jump back into The Betrayer for a bit.

Summer is always difficult for me to write because although I’m out of school, I go to visit my family and I rarely have a moment to myself whereas I have a lot of alone time and privacy in my own home. I unfortunately struggle to write when I’m not in a certain headspace, on top of being in a very over-stimulating environment (surrounded by young, loud, and quite clingy kids lol).

I’m getting somewhere for both upcoming chapters, but they’re both gonna be long. My longest chapter I’ve ever written (chapter 9 of The Betrayer, I believe) is nearly 14k words, and I truly think chapter 4 of Half-Life may surpass that. Chapter 10 of The Betrayer is probably gonna be around 15k words if I could guess, cos I’m only a quarter into the plot of the chapter lol.

I know it’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted any of my fics, but life has been insane for me lately (though if I’m honest, it always is in one way or another lol).

But I’m quite attached to both The Betrayer and Half-Life. I truly believe that they’re some of my best writing, and I am so proud of how they’re coming along despite the gaps between posting chapters.

For any of my Madness is The Color Green fans, I plan on editing it heavily and will hopefully work on it again too!

I wish I was more prolific than I am, but it’s hard for me to write a lot quickly, especially considering some personal life stuff going on. I also tend to go through times of writer’s block which sucks and is disheartening when many of my stories have very involved plots with lots of references to previous chapters, consistent and/or evolving themes/motifs and character development, and trying to maintain a specific tone throughout the whole story.

Sorry for the essay, I like to talk a lot 😂

Side note, though:

I was thinking of releasing some teasers for both The Betrayer and Half-Life to give y’all something while I slog through the rest of them!

So I updated the compiled masterpost for my JasPlo fic and it's a hair shy of 84,000 words. What. The. Actual. Fuck.

This might actually be the longest thing I have ever written in my entire like.

Yo, that's like an actual novel.

WHAT THE FUCK.

And I still have a lot planned.

I think.....I have enough pre-written I would be comfortable maybe committing to a bi-weekly posting schedule. Fucks sake I have 15K up over however many chapters posted so I have PLENTY of buffer space and I could always stop if say tomorrow my muses dry up and I can't write shit.

Of course, that requires me to be disciplined enough to actually proofread and edit. This focused writing thing is awesome but I don't have any of my proofreading plugins installed so my fic is even more mistake-riddled than normally because I just kinda edit as I go whenever Grammarly or prowritingaid point out something is off.

And boy howdy do I hate editing. LOL Professional proofreaders and editors might actually be touched in the head. Like, credit where it is due, they are fucking superheroes of the writing industry but whoever chooses that as their career path, I don't know how you enjoy much less don't suffer through proofreading someone else's semi-polished work.

Hmmm so I was debating maybe going to see the new Dungeons and Dragons movie tonight but I might put that off till Sunday and maybe NOT do the whole editing thing and instead start the next chapter.

Word Count: Sadly I don’t track this from year to year so I’m just going by my total word count on AO3 stats page: 1,277,012. Which wow.  I am wordy. I am vaguely remembering I was right around the million word mark last year but I might be hallucinating that from all the cold medication I’m on. 

Hits: Again I don’t track this (both for my sanity and the hit my vanity would take on the wide margin swings for my favorite pieces vs things that are just in big fandoms). According to the stats page my total hits is 131,627. 

Bookmarks: That I made or others made?  My total bookmarks (of fics I liked enough to add them to my personal collection) is 1,009.  The total number of times my works have been bookmarked by someone is 2,487.

Most Popular by Kudos: Shocking nobody, this is Family, Familia, ‘Ohana at 1,373.  Again I do not keep track of my stats other than posts like this one. 

Most Hits: Also Family, Familia, ‘Ohana at 38,202.  It’s in a popular fandom with  a popular pairing. *shrugs*.  

Longest: Well…. Does this have to have updated this year?  My longest work ever remains An Andromeda Tale at 673,530 words.  If we’re talking this year… it’s FFO at 120,488 words (it beats out the Outlaw and the Cartel Boss by 15k published words—even if I think my unpublished word count would make Outlaw overtake FFO)

Shortest: Ha.  For once this is both this year and ever.  Blackmail Material is 334 words. 

Most Comments: An Andromeda Tale and FFO are tied at 127 comment threads total each.  Again, I don’t really track my stats year by year but I would probably say that if we’re just talking this year it’s probably FFO as I haven’t updated AAT in over a year.  Just assume I am wearing a very ashamed face when I say that. 

Fic that made me cry: er… none of mine.  I have been known to shed a tear or two reading someone else’s angst fic but I try not to emotionally damage myself while writing—ie I take a break if I’m getting too worked up. If we’re talking tears of frustration over how something isn’t working…. Yeah…. Um…. We’re not going to talk about that. *whispers: ALL OF THEM*

not a lot lol. i remember feeling like “well, this is self indulgent, but then again, so is most of what’s out there and i feel like my contribution will just be one in a sea of many. might as well post it, and just see if somebody likes it!”

my current wip just from working on it for so long. it’s the longest thing i’ve ever written and the most coherent multi-chapter project i’ve ever worked on. i got a lot of energy to work on it since graduating from school lol. i can’t wait for people to read it despite its issues.

Is there a fic you would redo completely if you could?

tbh, no. when i publish a fic, i’m happy with it as a master copy. very rarely do i see anything in my published writing that i’m not proud of or would revoke. im not even sure how i would “redo” a fic. to me, the idea and the words themselves are kind of intertwined. to try to pull them apart and remix them would essentially create a new fic entirely! so, to me, there are no redos! you can (not) redo

Is there a specific detail (setting, interaction, quirk, dialogue) you stole from your own life to use in a fic?

its more likely that it’s something subconsciously picked out of another book or piece of media. i’ve not been a lot of places so if i include a lot of sensory details of a place, it would be somewhere i’m familiar with like a college campus, a department store, a library, a restaurant or a medical office.

in terms of interactions i’ve really not lifted much directly from my own life i think. most of the interactions i have with people these days are too mundane to be that inspiring, sigh. i need my weird teachers back to give me some good interactions to steal

ive probably picked up a quirk or two from someone somewhere along the way to use. dialogue i kind of just come up with organically.

I've been working on a personal writing thing (that I'll almost definitely never post here) for a while and like... It's the longest piece of writing I've ever written. It's almost 15k words. It takes up 25 pages. It has several chapters and is going to have several more when I'm (eventually) done. It's absolute garbage and nowhere near finished, but it gets better and better the more I work on it and edit as I go. I lost motivation for a while and hadn't worked on it for about a year until I opened it up and wrote about half a page yesterday in a half-asleep haze (and I'll definitely work on that again at some point because my writing sucks when I'm really tired). I'm going back and reading through what I have, editing things, moving them around when necessary, adding more or less detail as needed, and writing more bits and pieces of the story. It's a lot of fun, though it's definitely frustrating and a real pain sometimes.

And even after all of this progress, I STILL haven't found the right name for one of the MAIN FUCKING CHARACTERS. At this point, I may as well just fucking call him (character's name).

I love writing, but I also absolutely fucking HATE it.

Back at it again!

So before I get into anything else, I’d like to once again plug the Hellcheer Helloween Gift Exchange. Sign-ups start in less than a week, and go on until nearly the end of the month. Check out the event blog, @helloween-gift-exchange for further details!

Now that that’s out of the way. This week I posted a new chapter of “One More Time, Steal My Breath.” This chapter took a lot out of me to write, and is the longest single installment I’ve ever written, clocking in at just over 15k words. I need to recharge my batteries before tackling the next one, but I’ve got it all planned out in my head.

Right now, I’m working on Chapter 2 of “Hold Me Like You Held Onto Life,” my vampire/reincarnation fic. No snippets available yet; the first one or two thousand words of a chapter are always painfully slow going.

After this… there’s a few projects I might wanna tackle next. I could dive back into the angst of “Searching For Those Wasted Years.” There’s the forced marriage fic I posted about a few weeks back. And there’s also a Little Mermaid idea sort of lurking… but I don’t think that one’s ready just yet.

tot stuff im currently working on

a fic titled "The NXX Investigation Team In Their Natural Habitat, Unhinged: A Documentary by DAVIS" which is a comedy ao3 fanfic i made and started developing just yesterday. i want to finish it soon as possible maybe this weekend because constant creation is the only way i kno how to EXIST and also bc im a very obsessed with the idea and ive been writing it every free moment since i made it. since itll most probly be coming soon, i wont post any teasers until i post it in full. all u get is the title. The Journal of NXX Investigation Team Behavioral Studies 2021. my younger sibling has agreed to layout this and make some kind of cover as well! im paying them ofc, value the work of creatives. started compiling the stuff and since 2021 isnt done yet and also because i'll do some editing, this will change. but as of today, all my character analyses put together clock in at 12,455 words. lowkey wanna see if i can bump that up to 17.5k in the remaining time before layouting so that technically this compilation will have the wc of a NOVELLA

How many works do you have on AO3?

I have a total of 67 works posted on AO3. (Even more on my ancient FF.net account.)

Of these, 38 are for Steven Universe, 17 are for Gravity Falls, 8 are for Doctor Who, and 5 are for Trollhunters. (One of the Trollhunters fics and one of the Gravity Falls fics are the same story, though- it’s a crossover, ahah!)

Out of the bulk of them, most are one-shots.

Oh hey, the answer I already gave above! Yeah, I’ve only written for 4 fandoms in my entire life. I’ve actually written tons more Doctor Who than I’ve posted on AO3, but it’s older fic I wrote when I was 12-18, so... not exactly up to my current standards of writing. There’s a reason I haven’t cross-posted many of those.

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try my best to! I’ve made some friends before by responding back and forth in fic comments, so I always think it’s fun to engage with my readers in that way.

Fun fact: if you theorize or muse about lore in the comments of any of my fics, I will also muse about lore with you! I love discussing deep character/plot stuff, and sometimes even go in a bit deeper about my thought process while writing certain bits when people ask me about stuff.

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Probably either Shattering Atlas (mentioned above) or The Price of Freedom, since they’re blatantly Hurt, No Comfort. Even the angstiest of most of my fics tend to suggest a light at the end of the tunnel, but those flat out END in a depressing manner, ahah. Fun to write, but... damn. You were sure goin’ through it then, huh Jen? Pat pat. XD

Do you write crossovers? If so, what’s the craziest thing you’ve ever written?

I have posted a single crossover- the start of a Gravity Falls/Trollhunters fusion sort of thing where teen Stanley ends up becoming the trollhunter, and meets Blinky and Arrrgghh. I got 4 chapters and about 15K in before I got sucked into Steven Universe hell, so I never continued it. Wrote a pretty bomb ass fight scene for it, though.

(I co-wrote one other crossover when I was a teen with some friends at a sleepover- it was the most Wild Dumb Bullshit ever, pretty much throwing Spiderman and Sherlock and Bilbo Baggins and the Doctor into a room together and locking the door. @yourstylishmom I know you know what I’m talking about, uhsndghjdj w h e e z e)

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Not that I can recall. The only strange comments I’ve gotten have been like... people debating about Spinel in the comments thread of Hollowed Moon...? That was bizarre. More amusing than anything, though.

I mean, I HAVE written smut before. Your typical kinky bullshit. Have I posted it, though? No. Will I ever? No. It’s for my eyes, and my eyes only.

What’s your all-time favorite ship?

I don’t exactly have ONE all-time favorite, but the only ones I’ve ever sat down and created genuine content for are the Doctor/Clara Oswald, Ford/Fiddleford, and Steven/Connie.

What’s a WIP you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Hmmm. Second Skin. There’s only two more short chapters I need to write, but I kinda started writing that as a vent fic, and... I’m (thankfully) not in that mindset anymore.

What are your writing strengths?

I like to think that I write pretty decent character dialogue, and have a knack for capturing the voices of at least a few of ‘em. Some are definitely easier than others, though! Steven, Amethyst, and Greg tend to be the easiest for me when writing SU fic. And back in my Gravity Falls days, I found it easiest to write Ford and Stan.

What are your writing weaknesses?

I don’t know how to write fluff. I don’t understand romance. I technically understand the CONCEPT of it, but I have never myself experienced what I would consider true romantic attraction, so I have no clue what that experience feels like. I tried writing romance once in Ticklish, a teen Steven/Connie fic, but I to this day have no idea if this is what it’s actually LIKE. XD

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I don’t really have any opinion on this, truth be told. I’ve never really run into this in the fic I read- but I’m guessing it shows up in plenty of anime fandoms.

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Doctor Who! That was the first fandom I read a fic for, too. If we’re counting unpublished fic that we wrote before we understood the concept of fanfiction, though... then the game Blinx the Time Sweeper *wheeze*

What’s your favorite fic you’ve ever written?

1) Crack the Paragon. It’s certainly the longest, most recent fic I’ve worked on- and I like to think the character work I’ve dug into with that is pretty neat.

2) Contact. This is the first true finished multichapter SU fic I have, and I think it’s cool to finally look back on this project as a cohesive short story, and be proud of myself for seeing it to the end.

i think the first one i’ve ever written for was harry potter? then there was SKAM (if you’ve never watched this tv show DO IT but only the original norwegian show not all the other remakes) and then i wrote for bts for a couple years but i don’t anymore

5. what is your favorite genre to write?

fluff, any type of fluff, especially domestic slice-of-life fluff, im a sucker for happiness and happy endings and just love in general! and i’m too much of a crybaby to write angst, i’d just make myself cry constantly 😭 ALSO smut but only when i’m really in the mood and even then it always ends up just being suggestive instead of explicit smut

6. are you a pantser or a planner?

girl i don’t plan FOR SHIT i just get an idea and unless i write it immediately as i get it i’ll probably never write it because my inspiration for specific fics only lasts a couple of hours and then my mind moves on to something else 💀

7. one-shot or multi-chapter?

definitely one-shot, i struggle at being consistent and i like to think about the things i write as entire universes contained in small amount of words, like those tiny ecosistems people grow in glass jars

8. what is the perfect chapter length in your opinion?

long enough to tell a whole story as a one shot or make serious progress in a multi-chapter, but not so long that it’s heavy to read so anything between 2k and 5k (but i always write stuff under 1k because the stories i tell usually lack plots and they’re just pretty to read, unless it’s a multi-chapter then i write between 1k and 3k)

9. what is your longest published story?

probably devilish, i think it surpassed 15k even if there’s still the final chapter left to publish, but i also have a 15k jikook one shot on ao3 that im NEVER showing to anybody ever

10. which story did you enjoy working on the most?

definitely the stray kids as hogwarts students series, i had to do so much character study and it made me love the boys even more than i already did plus it was extremely funny and it made me dive back into the harry potter universe which is very precious to me as it was my first fandom i actually joined

11. favorite request you’ve ever written and why?

its not really a request but i wrote it for someone else so i’ll consider it one and it’s operation ex aka minho being hot and getting his girl back after a break up lol, i like it a lot because i’ve never written a making up fic before this one and i wrote it for someone that was really special to me (they’re not on tumblr anymore and i don’t really have the means to contact them again so it’s kind of like the only thing i have left of them but it’s not as tragic as it sounds lol)

12. are there recurring themes in your stories?

ive been definitely indulging more into a magical, kind of ethereal vibe while before i used to write about everyday life (which i still LOVE doing btw) also the summer inspires me to write more cottage core things so that’s definitely a recurring theme

13. current number of wips?

none, zero, absolutely nothing. i don’t keep wips i just produce fics and post them right away because i don’t plan anything and my imagination is limited to magical moments of extreme inspiration followed by a long nap that leaves me too dizzy to think for the next three days after that

1. im good at descriptions and bad at dialogues

2. 70% is world building, 25% characterization, only 5% plot

“cannot break us, not with a thousand swords”, no question about it. this is the one in which Ladybug proposes marriage to Chat Noir via Princess Bride meme on Tumblr. —okay so this is cheating and I know it, since Uncertain Humors (the one where Marinette/Adrien is both Orpheus/Eurydice and Theseus/Ariadne) is nowhere near finished, never mind posted (maybe I'll get “Sanguine” done to post on my birthday?)

but it is still my favorite of the year. as you might guess from that description of the story, this scene has content notes for character death:

Hell is a maze. Marinette walks.

This acrid passage has little to see but damp stone, seeming blood-stained in the dim carmine light. At about the height of her heart, the faintly glowing thread cuts through the not-clammy air; it ought to be pulsing at the same rate as the heart it's bound to. She might be able to see her own reflection if she looked down at the open sewage pipe, or at one of the puddles that now and again she splashes through, dampening the canvas of her shoes. She might see reflected what's behind her.

She remembers Mme. Mendeleiev lecturing on human physiology. In healthy humans old enough to have learned how, urination is a voluntary action: one may not know which muscles one tenses and relaxes in order to do so, and probably isn't paying attention to those details when one is doing, but one has conscious control over whether one does. Usually. Stress and anxiety mean some people are unable to relax the relevant sphincter muscle and others are unable to stop themselves. 6) A fic or scene that challenged you:

where the firelight fades, no contest. this is the second story I’ve ever been able to stick with more than a couple hundred words past the 20K mark, but it’s easily the twentieth novel-length I’ve begun. (though also, you know that kedreeva post? well, 90K later, I’m less than 15K from completing this 10K fic! I think.) and I have been learning so much about long-form fiction.

there has also been a lot of weeping and tearing my hair. case in point: I just trashed the chapter 15 draft because I figured out the reason it wasn’t going anywhere! I can probably keep the first few hundred words of that draft without any editing, and another few hundred with some revision...

7) A line of writing you’re proud of:

from “j'ai rêvé (so I don't have to dream alone)”:

Everything about their partnership is fragments of sentences in the dream diary Adrien writes in ultraviolet pen. Disjointed flickers of thought even when examined under the black light he hides in the snack cabinet under packets of Super Yoyo sandwich cookies and bags of cheesy Monster Munch potato chips and boxes of petit écolier butter cookies (chocolat noir)—none of which explains the gym-socks smell. All fleeting incoherent flashes, invisible between the mundane lines of La Modification shelved at his bedside between Leroux and Dumas. None of it is solid. Adrien has more proof his room's haunted.

okay let me break this down for you!

* Adrien started a dream diary to make sense of the memories

* in invisible ink, in a book that (according to Wikipedia) is thematically appropriate and won’t (if Gabriel sees it) look like anything other than Adrien developing an interest in French literature

* shelved between Phantom of the Opera and The Three Musketeers

* look I didn’t come up with the name “black light”

* or “chocolat noir” for what English speakers call “dark chocolate”, or “petit écolier” (that is, “little schoolboy”) for that sort of butter cookie

* also not my fault that “chocolat noir” sounds remarkably like “Chat Noir”, which, attentive readers may have noticed, is not a name that appears in the story after the header and before Miraculous Cure

* I found the website of a store in Boston, Massachusetts that caters to French expats, and the yo-yo cookies and the monster chips were right there in the photos, y’all

* the snack stash and the black light live in the cabinet where, in canon, the Camembert lives; yes, that cheese smells in the real world like gym socks

* this story’s akuma was not able to affect anything but squishy human memory: nobody affected remembers anything about Ladybug or Chat Noir or Hawkmoth, not in any solid way, not even when they read news articles about the subject, and this includes Marinette and Adrien not being able to see or hear or remember their own kwamis—but you know what Adrien’s Insta post about his poltergeist and Adrien’s Insta post with the floating sock don’t show and don’t explicitly refer to?

I’m starting work on a fantasy novel, a Sleeping Beauty retelling in which I explore (among other things) the economic consequences of the king’s ordering all the spinning wheels burned, and I want to make significant progress on that. and I want to not make my hands any worse; I kind of need those!

(breaking news alert: bodies fucking suck. so does giving yourself repetitive stress injuries in doing one and a half to two people’s worth of work for an organization that was never ever going to pay you more than one person’s worth of pay.)

A Short History of What Happened

Written, with love, for EnKlave Fest 2021.

Prompt: Omegas aren't allowed to join the army, but then Omega!Klaus gets dropped into Vietnam and has to pose as a Beta. He manages quite well, right until he goes into heat. Alpha!Dave is protective and incredibly aroused/horny.

Genre: Omega verse, smut, developing relationships, slow burn, undercover, misunderstandings, secretly in love.

Word length: This chapter: 600 (Entire work: 15k+)

A/N: I've never written anything in the Omega Verse genre before. When I claimed this prompt, I had no idea where this was going to take me. But as I've been working on this over the last few weeks, this fic has just grown arms and legs. It's easily the single longest one-shot I've every written. So, basically, what I'm saying is that the entire fic isn't complete yet. For now, I'll just post the introduction. But watch this space, because more is coming...

In reality, however, it wasn’t quite that simple.

In fact, when Dave actually stopped to think about it, what really happened was that Klaus Hargreeves snuck up on him. Like a sneeze. Or an orgasm.

Dave smelled Klaus before he saw him.

He was fast asleep on his cot in the tent, in the middle of a warzone. Then, suddenly, there was a flash of blue light behind his eyelids and Dave became conscious of the most intoxicating omega pheromone scent he had ever smelled.

Then Dave opened his eyes and there he was. He was. Small and vulnerable and frightened and male. Also, beautiful. Breathtakingly, heartbreakingly beautiful.

Crack. Bang. The earth tilted on its axis. The ground shuddered and angels sang. There he was. The line in the sand. The before and after. Klaus Hargreeves had happened to him.

The first thing Dave noticed was the fear. He could smell it. It radiated from the omega’s scent glands in waves. It was fear, definitely. But there was something else in there too. Confusion? Dave thought. Disorientation?

The second thing Dave noticed was that the omega was mostly naked. He registered that almost as an afterthought. It was far less important than the simple fact that the omega was scared.

Even through the fog of sleep that still clung to him, Dave’s alpha instincts kicked in and his first conscious thought was: protect.

In hindsight, what he should have thought was: why is there an omega here? More specifically: Huh?! Omegas are banned from joining the armed forces. Baring that in mind, I wonder why a scared, naked one has suddenly materialised at the foot of my bed in the middle of the night? And why is he holding a… briefcase?

In those first few seconds, though, Dave’s brain didn’t get quite that far, because the omega looked up at him through large, hypnotically beautiful, dark-rimmed eyes and Dave temporarily forgot how to breathe.

The man looked up at him and cocked his head to one side, further exposing the scent glands on his neck. The pheromones in the air thickened. Then the omega furrowed his brows, his mouth opening slightly in wonder.

And Dave just wanted to scoop him up.

But at that exact moment, the assault started outside the tent and the night was suddenly filled with the sound of explosions and gunfire.

The man’s eyes got impossibly wider and the smell of fear intensified.

The other men in the tent began jumping to their feet, grabbing their guns and running to the exit. They barely spared Dave and the omega a glance. Thank God for betas, Dave thought with a small jolt of relief.

“Incoming!” A booming voice shouted through the night. “Go-time, ladies! Charlie’s on the wire!”

Dave hoisted himself out of bed, grabbed a pile of his clothes and passed them to the omega.

“Here,” he said kindly, his voice low so he couldn’t be overheard. “Put these on. I’ve worn them, so they’re covered in my scent. It should help… mask yours.” Dave swallowed and added delicately. “Probably best to… keep your neck and wrists as covered as possible. These guys are betas, but there are some pretty mean alphas out there, so watch your back.”

The omega let out a shuddering breath.

“Okay,” he said shakily, then quickly began pulling on Dave’s clothes.

1. What fandoms have you written for that you do not write for currently?

• I have written, but never published, fanfics for Marvel (mostly Bucky Barnes and Loki), Naruto, Black Butler, Harry Potter, and some Lord of the Rings, too.

2. What fandoms are you currently writing for?

• BTS

3. How long have you been writing?

• Probably around 3-4 years on Tumblr.

4. On which platforms do you post your stories?

• I originally used to write those drafts I mentioned earlier on Wattpad, but never published. That was for maybe a year or two or just writing drafts on Wattpad, but I only ever published on Tumblr.

5. What is your favourite genre to write?

• I feel most comfortable writing fluff and comfort.

6. Are you a pantser or a planner?

• I only really plan the basic plot, as in the way I want it to start and the way I want it to end, everything else in between is free game.

7. One-Shot or Multi-Chapter?

• I have an admiration for Multi-Chapter fics and extremely long One-Shots, neither of which I can accomplish at my current level, haha. I have only put out one Multi-Chapter fic so far because the concept of following up with more posts is a bit daunting as of right now, but hopefully in the future you will see more Multi-Chapter fics from me.

8. What is the perfect chapter length in your opinion?

• I struggle with writing stuff longer than 7-8k but I really want to push for around 15k.

9. What is your longest published story?

• So technically in terms of chapters, the longest story would have to be the multi-chapter fic “Love is Not Over.” But in terms of word count, I’m not sure because in my older fics, I never really used to put in the word count, but it’s probably “You’re My Forever,” or “My Dearest Queen.”

10. Which story did you enjoy working on the most?

• I absolutely adored working on My Dearest Queen, and it’s still one of my most precious fics to date. I also very much loved Painful Hugs ‘N All.

11. Favourite request you’ve written, and why?

• I’ve never opened up requests before!

12. Are there recurring themes in your stories?

• I write a lot of fluff, and established relationships!

13. Current number of wips?

• I have 4 wips and 1 outline/concept/idea that I haven’t started actually writing yet!

14. Three things you have noticed about your writing?

• First, I prefer happy endings. Second, I prefer starting with established relationships. Third, I’ve never written anything over 10k.

15. A quote you like from a published story?

• “Oh his eyes. They shone with the light of a thousand galaxies and were sprinkled with stardust.” [An excerpt from ‘Painful Hugs ‘N All’]

16. A quote from an unpublished story?

• “He drops sparkles and shimmers of stars as he gracefully rides along.”

• I want to thank all of you for being so patient with my gaps in between posting. I also want to thank all of you have come to my blog across all of this period of time because something I wrote brought you some sort of joy, or happiness, or comfort.
