fascinated by the implied fennec-ventress-phee friend group in tbb. even more interesting (funny) when you add boba in there during the tbobf era.

LIGHTSABERS AND THE FORCE#two. shes already on the pikes bad side; she has no rep to lose with the pikes if she does help boba#three. nobody in bobas entire retinue knows how to command anything larger than a small strike team#between boba fennec and krrsantan they're a full team of lone wolf solo hunters#they can barely coordinate a four person team let alone an army big enough to fight the pikes#in that last battle in bobf iirc boba straight up disappeared and returend with a rancor kaijuing everything with 0 warning to his friends#and they just kind of lost track of the shiny vespa gang#anything larger than krayts claw and boba just. loses everybody#he's busy fighting not looking for people!#on the other hand theres ventress who has several years of commanding literal millions of droids in massive-scale battles#boba: listen ill forget about quarzite if you help. please. i have an army and no clue what to do with it#boba: my friends dont know either i already asked#phee is their resident smuggler (very very useful when dealing with pike spice trade) and probably knows all the tattooine pike routes#boba please. you need some diversity on your team. you can't fight a war with eight solo assassins smushed together.

my favourite NO66 good-end AU idea is the one where Anakin is bankrolling the outer rim slave rebellion via his spoutube (space youtube) holonet ASMR channel. his channel bio is “I’m good at fixing things.” video titles include “giving my r2 droid an oil bath” “re-wiring my step-brother’s moisture vaporator” “changing the plates on c3p0 (no talking, spa music)” he has a shed out back in the naboo house gardens where he collects parts and records videos. obi-wan scoffs at him until one day he uses the ad revenue on “build a prosthetic arm with me” to fix up an entire starfighter & then obi-wan sighs and accepts his fate of delivering the cut up fruit that padme makes him take out to the shed for her when it’s raining

I’d be more convinced that the monologue from the end of “Tribe” was a throwaway line if it weren’t for the fact that we got the weeping maya tree right before Omega left Pabu, and if the batchers on Pabu weren’t left in the present day sequences with a group of force kids whose families need to be found and who will probably need somewhere safe to be once they are.

started watching another home makeover show and it hit me once again how much I want an AU where George and Sapnap are the hosts of a 'siblings getting their own rooms' show (they compete on which room suits their respective kid best) and Dream is one of the cameramen who ended up commenting out loud about something so he ends up being a faceless fan favorite. George does flirt with Dream a lot. Sapnap is very tired of it. They also compete about which room Dream would like the best, which is not the point of the show but in their hearts it is.
#it'll be the kind of show no one expects to succeed but dream's clip goes viral#literally he's not even supposed to be part of the show but everyone wants to hear what he has to say#and it works out well because george and sapnap are obsessed with getting his approval#dream does not have interior design background so he honestly has no idea why anyone listens to him#what he doesn't know is he is VERY GOOD at knowing what the kids want because he's good at listening and also figuring out what they NEED#like there is an episode where this girl wants generic princess stuff but it turns out she just really looks up to her big sister#so dream finds out she likes art and building things with her own hands and there's a whole segment#where you just see his back while this kid is teaching him how to build a castle#and you see george watching from the side COMPLETELY BESOTTED#I NEED TO WRITE THIS FIC#these men in the car makeover show keeps on bantering i feel like it could be flirting#i need to use this energy into something less crazy (dnf is less crazy than these people)#like why did this man program his droid to answer the question 'is donny cute' 😔 and it answered yes but only when he is not talking#boi u just called the beefcake who kept hugging you cute#how am i not supposed to think about dnf

Cody: Mando'a songs, specifically vode an. Reminds him of Alpha 17 quietly singing along with them as cadets, the closest he's ever gotten to a lullaby. And one piece of classical space opera that Obi-wan recommend that he cant get enough of.
Gregor: Less intense. Dinner jukebox dusty country. If its some guy singing about his lonley heart and his pick up speeder Gregors gonna love it. Some ballads to from a couple of the galaxies best divas. They kept him company when he did the dishes and missed someone he couldn't remember.
Waxer: Upbeat rock that makes you want to dance but is like about some guy going to prison bc he slept with his best friends wife. Most of them are restless and about getting away from it all. And easy listeners that he collects to share with Boil.
Boil: George Micheal in universe counterpart. Anything that either makes you want to slow dance or listen to in the rain. Except for a few exceptions: easy listeners that Waxer recommends and one song called grumpy old man that Wooley said was about him and he cherishes even though he acted offended at the time.
Wooley: Either Woodkid esk epic pieces or pop rock. There is no in-between. If it inspires him to work out or get creative, it gets downloaded directly to his bucket and a backup drive.
Crys: High speed, pixie rock, and nightcore. Brain numbing, heart pumping i need the rest of my brain to shut up while i hack the government music with again dashes of space opera and classical that Obi-wan said really gets the blood boiling

Honestly breaking my phone has me feeling oddly excited. Finally a chance to reset everything and sort things out right!
#I won't be getting a phone for at least a month I imagine#But I'll be finished with uni this month hopefully and with it a proper restart to my life#I'll actually sort out all the pictures I download#I'll have a calendar with proper alerts#I'll have actual songs on it and not listen via youtube#I'll only use F-droid apps#I'll have open source strategy games on it#My manga reader app will have manga downloaded on it#(inb4 I use up all my storage space instantly)#...considering the other times I've done it it won't be as good as I imagined. But! I'll still do it
