#an ounce of situational awareness would go so far in this institution#I’m about to storm out of the office#except I cannot make things harder for my coworkers who are experiencing the same bullshit as I am#so I won’t actually storm out#but I might still leave early because we have somebody closing#the level of gross incompetence combined with unearned confidence is ASTOUNDING#my boss was on the verge of tears this morning she was so angry#our department literally brings in the money that keeps the lights on and pays everyone’s fucking salary#you’d think there’d be a little more fucking respect thrown our way#museum musings#it’s a nonprofit kind of day
