#twist rambles#vc posting#the lestat period blood lust tho...nonstop sad but true.#it's just like im dreading the next book with such a fucking passion bc i know its incredibly triggering but this book sucks so much lmao.#i wish the exposition dump was not nonstop and it was more ok heres Lestat in hell. id like that way more but alas. like going from the last#book which had so much 2 say on lestat as a character and so much to explore w him to this is... very frustrating. if you think im hating#this series rn wait until i hit blood and gold. bc i am going to be genuinely pissed off thru all 700 pages of that lmao. but we survive ok.#we persist for the aliens in Atlantis#like the writing isnt...bad? it's just barely anything has happened in this book and i get why ppl say the exposition goes on forever.
