You know I always did like the idea of Ochako being willing to give Toga her blood freely as a gesture of wanting to allow Toga some form of validation in herself and her Quirk, because that was what she was MISSING her whole life and drove her down the dark path she took...I always thought it was a very poignant and poetic option for their relationship, and like YES offering her friendship was always gonna happen, but for it to ALSO go with ochako literally allowing Toga access to her blood to satisfy her Quirk?

it's just. two girls. in a room. fighting for their lives. over and over again and one is powered by the want to live and survive and by the notion that she will someday be free if she kills enough and the other who is tired and feels withered and has accepted fate of being killed over and over again.

the more times that they kill and die the closer they get to their potential freedom but the harder it gets to kill. because she sees the exhaustion in the other woman's eyes. and something about that draws her to her. she's never had to die in this room. the other had always accepted her fate. and so she kills and she kills and each time each death becomes more merciful and quick and each one they grow closer despite one hating each other with a fury of a burning fire and the other a dying fragment.

and the most horrifying thing is they're fighting over and over again because the narrative is a bitch and has doomed them when they could instead could be having gay sex and finding comfort in each others arms
