No one with any kind of creative or executive power over the Star Wars franchise cares about Padme Amidala except George Lucas, and even he decided her story and her thoughts and her work weren't worth keeping in Revenge in the Sith in the end.

For the past 20 years she's been a pawn, a narrative reason to explain Anakin's fall. She gets little to no merchandise and only sparing attention in the books and comics. The Clone Wars gives her a couple of cool Senate scenes in the middle seasons and then refuses to do much with her otherwise except put her in a convoluted, contrived love triangle to showcase Anakin's possessiveness. She's nowhere to be found or mentioned in Obi-Wan despite being one of his closest friends. Ahsoka went to her funeral but still never spoke her name. Luke and Leia never mention their mother in the sequels. Andor never brings her up despite revolving around the birth of the Rebellion, focusing on the ways people resist against fascist governments, and co-starring one of Padme's best friends. It's incredibly frustrating.

She's a ghost, she's haunting the narrative, she's a core facilitator of Lucas's thematic and political messaging, but Disney will never speak her name or acknowledge her importance or do ANYTHING with her. They won't even put her on the damn ROTS 20th anniversary posters! What will it take for people to finally acknowledge Padme and give her ANY kind of respect and narrative spotlight?

in legacy of the force: sacrifice, we see that removing one's boots before entering the house is a non-negotiable rule in the beviin-vasur household, including for fett.

this means that the majority of the scenes taking place in the farmhouse—including the most dramatic—must involve most of the mando characters (fett included) walking around in full armor and socks

god. GOD the Ezra transmission at the end of season 1 still makes me fuckigng sick to think about, especially with the context of Mira and Ephraim hearing it. To think that for eight years his parents had been ripped away from their son all for the crime of speaking out for hope, never knowing what became of their Ezra, of that tiny seven year old left on the streets scared and crying and alone, to spend days and months and years in that awful place with all of that emptiness and then, and then and then and then.

And then they hear their boy's voice again, and they know him immediately, even without name, because of course they do, that's their son, that's their Ezra, and he's speaking out for hope just as they did, and they've been apart from him longer than they ever had him, but his voice is here, his hope is here, and he talks about how they inspired him, how he's carrying on their legacy of courage and community hope, how he has a new family - thank God he has a family, he is safe and he is loved, even if they will never know who has loved him so much as to earn the title of family - and that hope will one day prevail, just as they taught him it would.

They hear his voice, by god they hear his voice, and it's one of the last sounds they ever hear.

Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Jango Fett & The Clones

Wanted to post this to show that during his origin story in the classic 2002 video game Star Wars Bounty Hunter, Jango Fett did indeed care about the Clones. Jango said he was "proud" of them; he even let this be known to his son Boba Fett.

(Unlike the in-universe narrative claiming Jango cared nothing about the Clones & the only Clone Jango ever cared about was Boba.)

In the following Cutscene Storyboards from Star Wars Bounty Hunter, Mandalorian Bounty Hunter (And Prime Clone Template) Jango Fett said his Clones were a damn fine Army, ready for battle. When Jango discussed this with Boba, Jango told him: "You shouldn't feel sorry for them. I don't. I feel…Proud."

Jango Fett consistently fought the Kaminoans over reconditioning/ decommissioning. In the early days he managed to convince the Kaminoans to change the expected standard, allowing for more leniency regarding deviations in physical appearance, speech patterns, behavior, temperament, etc. This saved many lives. He also regularly stepped in & rescued clones scheduled to be reconditioned for ‘aberrant’ behavior or mental health concerns. The Null ARCs & Delta Squad were saved from death because of his intervention. He also had a secret operation where he smuggled at-risk clones off of Kamino.

“ah, she’s going to be such a daddy’s princess. i can’t wait to spoil her.” he’d murmur against your skin.

“she?” you’d giggle, crooking your head while caressing his soft curls with both hands.

“just fatherly intuition, love.” anakin’d smile looking up at you, his big hands caressing the small of your back.
