Ok so this is like, lots of time in the making! Anyone remember the Sexiest Kirby Character Tournament? PFFFF And Meta Knight won?! LMAO I made a reaction doodle of my Meta responding to the outcome at the time (Maybe might redraw it)!

As you can see, he took it well! Lol And I teased a Ginjinka of DDD! But I never made him because I’m a Meta Simp.

So this was all of him I had made at the time. But now that changes today! ^^

Some notes of characterization: I grew up with Anime DDD, so he’s got that Southern Accent. He’s silly, loud, proud, and gluttonous, but he cares for his people and wants to prove he is a Great King! So I also mix in what is canon about him in the games!

I feel like DDD has that charm of easily getting people to open up and express themselves. Like, being really honest. He can be just as blunt and even point out some things others may not notice or want to notice. I feel like DDD is smart, not a genius, but he’s able to pilot Mechs and wield crazy contraptions! DDD is definitely naturally funny, so much so he even got Martin to laugh at one point!

When it comes to the King and his Knight, they are very professional with each other, though DDD can be a bit more open about his friendship with the Dark Knight. I’m making some Friendship Content about them and even adding some lore as to how their relationship formed. Just know they are close and mutual in my AU!

Bonus Bandana Dee Ginjinka! He took in Bandana, who I’ll call Bana, as his little one! This basically makes Bana the Prince, though he doesn’t consider himself such. He wants to fight for the King, stand by his side and repay him for his kindness of not only taking him in, but also taking in his Clan! Of course, he is aware of Meta Knight being King DDD’s Strongest and closest. He would like to challenge Sir Martinez for that position one day.

Finally here’s the Kirby Krew all together! I have not got to play Return to Dreamland completely, but I do plan to purchase the Deluxe Version for the Switch at some point! Hated how the jumping felt delayed in that one Winter Area, jumping over those Damn f*cking spikes. Made me so mad.

ANYWAY!!! ENJOY!!! I loved designing these two!!

Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers

I've been playing Ring Racers alot in my free time and it has been in my mind ever since it came out, I feel compelled to write how it makes me feel just to let it out. I don't think most people truly realize how amazing this game really is.

The kart racing genre is something I was never super into. most i've played was some Mario Kart games. However, I've always appreciated and continue to appreciate Kirby Air Ride for trying really creative things that still sticks with me, I also just love the presentation and execution of its unique ideas. I never thought a kart racer would ever match that level of creativity again untill I played Ring Racers.

Mario kart was always too simple and easy for me to play on my own or even online. srb2kart felt like a more challenging Mario Kart to me and I loved playing it way more than any other racing game, the controls are as simple as Mario Kart but it takes a bit of mastering and understanding to do really well, My only real gripe with it was that there wasn't much to do other than just playing online with other people since singleplayer content was basically non-existant.

But Ring Racers, oh man. I could not care less if it's not friendly to casual players. It is such a vast improvement from srb2kart to me. I've never felt so engaged with a racing game before. So many creative ideas, mechanics and content that never feels boring when i'm playing. I always feel challenged playing this game and It's so satisfying to get good at. I love how much more technical of a racer it is. It also is just a great sonic fangame, this is exactly what I would want an official sonic kart racing game to be. Kart Krew has really made something amazing here and I'm having the most fun i've ever had with a videogame in a long time. I feel extremely grateful to be able to experience this.

Perhaps i'll make more posts about other games i've played/been playing just to give myself a reason to use tumblr.

But yeah, ring racers is a great videogame. thats all i rly wanted to say.

she was born in the Jungle Kingdom and lives happily with her family. Well.. as happily as she can....

As a child, Dani enjoyed swinging in the trees as much as any other Kong, yet she never went beyond what she knew, preferring to take a more introspective approach. But don't let that fool you.. once Dani has her hands on some old parts and a wrench, she's going full throttle. She may not have as much interest in exploring the outside's greatest mysteries but when it comes to her work, she loves testing the limits. Dani is ambitious and analyzes anything she comes across. She's more reserved compared to her friends but can be just as outspoken, not afraid to tell anyone when she disagrees on a matter. She'd like to say she's a fairly reasonable and easygoing monkey but her own stubbornness has clashed against Cranky and DK's more than once. Although reserved, Dani is friendly to those around her and is devoted to her friends and family. Her ingenuity, reasonable nature, and loyalty to her friends makes her a valuable member of the DK Crew.

As she gets older, her skills in mechanical engineering improve greatly. Dani is responsible for improving kart conditions and track structure. After helping upgrade the Jungle Kingdom Raceway, she further evolved karts to have hang-gliders and even anti-gravity wheels.

Despite her abilities and supportive friends, Dani often puts pressure on herself for not knowing something or being useful. She stays in her own space and is perfectly happy working on her projects, even at the cost of other things in life. In fact, Dani sees no reason why things should change.. that is until a certain ape prince barrel rolls into her life....

Normally, I wouldn't post an OC profile until I have everything lined up, but due to what happened with my previous OC, I'm doing this to stake claims and avoid more conflict.. This post may be edited as I continue tweaking Dani's story, but thoughts and constructive criticism are appreciated (:

For anybody who wanted to see a more detailed look at the drawings of the Kirby Krew in my newest video (at the time of making this) here it is!

Before you go viewing just like to mention that I made these into PNGs and than put them into KineMaster to save some time on production.. it could be considered lame, cheating even, but to be honest I think it's a Smart idea to implement! Anyway expect this technique to be used in the future videos..

Next up on the Celebrity Cameo train, one of the five characters from Planet Popstar!

First among them, the Self-Made King of the Waddle Dees, the Royal Nemesis of Kirby and the iron-masked heavyweight champion himself, King Dedede!

Now his appearance was actually foreshadowed thrice already in what's posted! First was when Silver finished carving a boar mask from wood that "incites bestial savagery and violence in whoever wears it". That's actually the Forgo Mask that Dedede wore in The Forgotten Land, the second hint being when Ghirahim hears of the scheme and wishes that Silver gets horribly murdered upon a shooting star. The shooting star was actually Dedede crash-landing in Hyrule, the final clue being that short excerpt of a stranger waking up in a crater, hefts his hammer up and heads for the ruined Colosseum in the distance to find a way back.

All hints at Dedede appearing in due time!

The reasoning for why I wanted him to appear was due to his KILLER theme song in Forgotten Land. And hey, I already had the Kremling Krew included, canonzied ZeldWAH and made a villain inspired by FF7's Sephiroth, what's one more gratuitous cameo? Idea was that after the Gerudo Arc, the protagonists go to the Colosseum to investigate rumors of a serious monster infestation. Upon arrival, they find dead monsters left, right and center and in the epicenter of it all is a big penguin clad in beast furs, holding a colossal hammer.

The fight quickly turns south because although heavily outnumbered by the likes of Link, Zelda, Midna, Ravio and Linkle, this is King Dedede. He's a rare person able to go against Kirby, a literal planet-shattering god killer. He is one of the strongest living beings in his entire universe, even running solo he can take on the pirates.

Thanks to his first boss fight in Forgotten Land, I was planning on going full-on anime battle with this one. Dedede just rips an entire stone column out with one hand and effortlessly swings it around, Ravio's rings making him superhumanly strong has him punch Dedede into stone walls but he simply dusts himself off before creating a vortex by inhaling. Linkle hits him with dozens of Bomb Arrows and he's barely phased. Link has hundreds of tons of rubble collapse on him, and Dedede just punches his way out of the pile, still raring to go. Even the giant laser cannon that Midna has from HW, he just pushes through it and proceeds to body slam her with all the force of a freight train.

Seeing Midna get so attacked is what has Zelda able to draw upon her Triforce. With help from the Ghost Queen, she's able to use assorted magicks that past Zeldas used to augment her own strength and even then, Dedede's still stronger. Yet she's evened the odds enough for the Forgo Mask to be destroyed, freeing Dedede from its curse.

Once he comes to his senses, he's saddened that he's seperated from his friends, but offers to join the crew until he finds a way back. Midna's tries to object, but Dedede just "I wasn't asking" as he does. And although he's still lazy and a blowhard, he still pulls his weight aboard the ship. And due to Midna's flashbacks to "that one weird fever dream I had where I helped a gorilla in a necktie fight a mouse that can shoot lightning", she's able to confirm that Dedede is a legit king, albeit of a distant land.

His role in the plot was actually to help facilitate Zelda's growth into accepting her royal heritage. The Ghost Queen was never able to thanks to how she allowed the FIERCE Project and thus Dark Link to be created, which Zelda did not like in the slightest and put her off the idea of royalty. Dedede however, he's the self-made king. His Waddle Dees are loyal to him because when push comes to shove, Dedede is the first to defend them with his own two hands. He lets them eat as much as him and gives them respect where it's due for their unwavering dilligence.

In other words, he's a king that Zelda actually wants to be like. And although surprised, he actually serves a sort of mentor role with her alongside the Ghost Queen. The biggest lesson Dedede imparts to her is that "The crown's only as strong as the people", a lasting lesson that she takes to heart. Although he eventually returns to his own world, it's from his time with Zelda that she finds the courage within herself to accept the throne of Hyrule.

The Story That Will Never Be Told 6: Guest Stars

This one will be a thread, several reblogs detailing each different Celebrity Cameo. And to start us off, my favorite of these special guest stars; The Kremling Krew!

This band of crocodile pirates hails from the RareWare-age of the Donkey Kong franchise, originally appearing in Donkey Kong Country and going on to be the villains of the whole series along with one of my favorite games of all, DK64. They were under the command of the infamous King K Rool and first sailed to the Kong Isles aboard the battleship, Gangplank Galleon, until Donkey and Diddy thrashed him and sunk his ship. Their home island was sunk by Diddy and Dixie Kong (admittedly by accident) when they defeated K Rool a second time, leaving the Kremlings adrift in scattered clans. Although K Rool returned for the 3rd DKC game, he had to do so in disguise because the Kremlings were actually sick of him. His infamous Blast-O-Matic in DK64 was the last time he and the Kremlings got a major appearance in anything and it was disabled whilst K Rool was sent flying into the ocean again.

And from then onwards, the Kremlings and K Rool never got a proper appearance in any mainline games.

They were in a similar boat as Waluigi; designed by a 3rd-party that was working with Nintendo instead of Nintendo itself (Camelot actually devised Waluigi, the Kremlings and all the Kongs post-arcade era were by Rare). Ergo a bit of a debate on Nintendo's end if they kept any of these characters around, Diddy and a few other Kongs got to persist thanks to their popularity. But the Kremlings? Nintendo wasn't keen on them appearing again in a mainline game until Smash Ultimate.

Of all the guest-stars I had planned, the Kremlings were the first. They have such a rich roster of a crocodile cast across the 90s, a bunch of delightfully devious lunkheads determined to one day get even with the Kongs. And what's more, I even had that wonderful DKC tv show to draw inspiration from and provide a leader that was significantly more popular amongst his underlings; Kaptain Skurvy.

The history in my continuity was thus; DKC 1-DK64, with a light sprinkling of the tv show, happened as they canonically did. The Kremlings that you've gotten to meet in my fic are but one of many small factions, this crew of crocs led by Quint Skurvy the Fifth. Thanks to how tyrannical AND disasterous K Rool's leadership was in the past, Klubba led a mutiny aboard the Gangplank Galleon, deserting the former Kremling King with his prized battleship (as an aside, Klubba is from DKC2, a powerful Kremling that actually helps out Diddy and Dixie as "K Rool treats us rotten, I hope ye scuttle his plans"). Once at sea, the crew held an election for a captain (pirates in actual history were democratic), Skurvy winning the vote and he has been in command ever since. He's led them to great profits and spoils of war, earning genuine loyalty from the Kremlings under his flag.

What brings the Kremlings to Hyrule actually stems to the original Quint Skurvy, the current one's great-great-great-grandfather. He had obtained the legendary Crystal Coconut, but was betrayed by his navigator. The navigator, a man history refers to as "The Ancient Mariner" had stolen the Crystal Coconut, hiding it in distant shores from Crocodile Isle. When Skurvy caught up with the traitor, he threw him into a pine box and hurtled it overboard. Ever since, the SKurvies have hunted for the Crystal Coconut, the current of their lineage the first to sail Hyrule's waters.

For the Yiga battle, the Kremlings would actually have been allied with the Gerudo and our protagonists as they mistook the Yiga for the Kongs. They reveal that the Gangplank Galleon has an All-Terrain mode, allowing it to leave the water and assault the Yiga Stronghold itself. Upon finding out that "the death cult of assassins are not the gorillas they've a blood feud with", the Kremlings decide to just loot the stronghold of everything and leave. From there, that would've been the end of their little arc.

At least, until I watched this AMAZING video;

Then I thought up a soft-sequel for the fic. Running with the vid's plot, K Rool is able to reunite the Kremlings under his rule once more. After hearing from Klump, Skurvy's brother and K Rool's former supreme commander, about the wonderous lands across an ocean that no Kremling or Kong have sailed before, K Rool decides that salvaging whatever magic and technology they can from Hyrule might finally give him the edge over the Kongs.

And thus a decade or so after my fic's conclusion, Hyrule recieves word of a massive battle fleet sailing for the kingdom, led by a mobile island fortress that resembles a crocodile wearing a crown.
