Booooooring.

Cure Honey is one of the most boring cures to ever exist. Her only personality trait is food. All she ever talks about is wanting to eat rice. She even sings about it for her attack too, and it’s just so dumb.

That’s all I have to say about her. Boring.

She really has no personality, and her design is ugly. She’s only there for the plot. I was never a fan of her. The only thing putting her above Cure Honey is that her attacks are cool enough.

She’s shy, likes animals, and is Christian. That’s pretty much it.

But honestly, she’s not too boring. She adds something to the story. She’s just not as interesting as the others, and her attacks are cool.

I didn’t connect with any of the Hugtto characters at all.

I’m not a Cure Etoile fan. I don’t like her personally, and I don’t like her design. Like, why is she a flight attendant, and not a figure skater?

That’s all I have to say about her. I just don’t like her.

Honestly, I don’t think she’s as bad as people claim. Sure she’s rude, but at least she has a reason. And she’s not too rude for me. After joining the team, she gets better.

I really like her design too. She’s really cute!

She’s cool! I love how her richness comes in handy, and how she’s not afraid to use it.

Her whole backstory with her being afraid of her strength was really interesting, and I enjoyed her journey to becoming a Pretty Cure.

I like her design too. Her hair is so cute!

~🟡7 - Cure Papaya🟡~

I like Cure Papaya’s design a lot! I’ve heard quite a bit of hate for it, and I don’t understand it. She’s so cute!

She’s lacking a bit in the personality department though. But I think she’s really funny sometimes!

Her little backstory spoke to me on a personal level. She talks to much about her interests, and weirds everyone out. She’s so me fr.

I think her knowledge for sweets is really cool. She taught me a lot of things!

I’m not the biggest fan of her design though. I just don’t like that shade of yellow paired with brown.

She serves.

Her confidence is amazing. And her attitude is perfection.

Her design isn’t for me, but I think it suits her very well. That’s all I gotta say!

She was my favorite growing up(back when I watched Glitter Force… *sigh*). She’s super cute! And she’s an artist! I tend to like the artist characters a lot.

Her design is adorable too. I love her hair, and the little *pop* it does when she transforms. And the fact that she can control lighting is super cool!

~🌻3 - Cure Sunshine🌻~

I loved her backstory. Her feeling the need to be masculine, and her longing for cute things made me feel so sad for her. I was so happy when the other girls helped her explore more of her femininity. Did anyone else notice that her hair was longer in the last episode? I loved that detail!

She has a super cool design as well! And her relationship with Potpourri is really cute!

~🍋2 - Cure Lemonade🍋~

Cure Lemonade was the first cure I considered my favorite, and she remained my favorite for a long time.

I loved her personality and vibe. Her whole actress/idol thing was entertaining to watch as well.

But her design is probably what I love best about her. Her hair is just awesome. I love the way it swirls into place in her transformation!

One of my favorite cures ever!

I love her design. It’s so unique! The poofy underskirt is probably my favorite part!

I see myself in her as well. She gets caught up in the moment, and gets too excited. And she feels like she’s unintentionally dragging her friends into things they don’t want. Seeing things I don’t like about myself in characters pretty much makes me like them instantly.

So a long time ago I made a list of all the Pripara arcade songs (excluding gold versions) and I decided to post it here along with updating it to add new Idol Land songs and indicating if it’s on the Switch and Idol Land.

I’m not the best at maths lol but from what I’ve counted, the OG arcade game had 102 songs. With the All Idol arcade update release, it had 121 songs.

The Switch Game had 32/102 songs (all idol came after Switch release) which is about 31% of the songs on the arcade game. (Thank You, Sorry, See You Tomorrow is not included in this count because it is not accessible through normal means) Currently, as of October 23 2024, Idol Land has 27/121 songs featured on the arcade which is about 22%.

Pro-curetember Day 29: Rainbow!

Bonjour~! For today's prompt, I looked at the Cures who had Rainbow color scheme, according to Toei's official categorization, and decided this was a perfect time for our third Animal Sweets recipe translation on this blog. Un moment Parfait, if you will. This recipe is a one star difficulty out of three, so you should have a fine time with it. It's the Pegasus Parfait that Kirahoshi Ciel uses to transform into Cure Parfait from Kirakira Pretty Cure A La Mode Episode 23 of the Precure Franchise.

Let's・La・Mazemaze!

What you'll need

For the Waffle Wings:

85g, or 3oz, of pastry flour

1 tbsp of baking powder

25g, or 0.9oz, of caster sugar

A little salt

1 Medium Egg

100ml, or 2/5 cup, of milk

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

For the Pegasus Decoration:

Vanilla icecream, as needed

Fresh cream, as needed

Sugar, as needed

Canned pears

Melon Slices

Orange Wedges

Strawberries

5 Chocolate Pens (1 of each: Pink, Purple, Blue, Yellow, Chocolate)

Your favorite jam, as needed

For your pre-preparation step, pre-heat your waffle iron if your waffle iron's instructions require that, and cut your fruit into your shapes. If you're young, ask an adult to help with the knife.

Step One

We're going to make the waffles. Whisk your pastry flour, caster sugar, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.

Step Two

Crack the egg into another bowl, and beat them lightly. Then add your milk and oil, and whisk with a whisk.

Step Three

Very gradually, add your wet ingredients you made in Step Two to your dry ingredients you made in Step One, and mix with a whisk until smooth. The key to preventing lumps in this step is to add the liquid to the powder little by little, rather than in large amounts.

Step Four

Coat a pre-heated waffle iron with a thin layer of vegetable oil (not included in the recipe), and pour in the waffle batter you made in Step 3 with a ladle. Clover-shaped waffle irons work best to make heart-shaped wings, but any shape is fine.

Step Five

Cook your waffles according to your own waffle iron's instructions, then remove your waffle with chopsticks, allow to cool, and then cut the waffle in half.

Step Six

Dip your pink, purple, blue, and yellow chocolate pens in hot water, and cut the tip. Then, draw four lines in pink, purple, blue, and yellow on half of your waffle halves that you made in Step Five. We are done with the wings.

Step Seven

It's time to make the whipped cream. Place the caster sugar and fresh cream from the Decoration ingredients in a bowl. Place the bottom of the bowl overtop some ice water, and whip until it is about 80% stiff. Place a star tip on a piping back and pour the cream into it. We are done with the whipped cream.

Step Eight

It's time to assemble the parfait. Place the vanilla icecream into a bowl using a scoop and squeeze the whipped cream you made in Step Seven onto the top and in front.

Step Nine

Combine the canned pear and melon slice to make the Pegasus' head and beginning of the mane. Continue the mane down the icecream back with orange wedge and strawberry. To secure the melon mane on the pegasus' head, use short bamboo skewers or toothpicks.

Step Ten

Place the waffle you made in Step Six on top of the icecream to make wings. Put your favorite jam into a piping bag, cut the tip, and squeeze it onto the sides of the waffle.

Step Eleven

Squeeze the cream you made in Step Seven onto the neck of the pegasus in star dollops to make a necklace. Dip your chocolate-colored chocolate pen in hot water and cut the tip. Finally, use your chocolate pen to draw the eyes and nose of the pegasus on the canned pear head. Your Pegasus is assembled!

Please, everyone, enjoy your tasty Pegasus Parfait if you ever do try to make it, following the translated recipe. I apologise if it's a little unclear, but given how customizable it is in terms of your favorite fruits, feel free to do what you wish. Régale-toi bien!

Some general thoughts on Precure All Stars F:

1) I knew it going in, but it really is delightful that the literal plot of this movie is some kind of all-powerful alien capable of destroying planets deciding after a fight to become the most powerful being in the universe: a magical girl. (Complete with mascot made of the weak and useless parts of yourself like compassion and a desire for friendship and ugh you’re not destroying things with our incredible cosmic power, get away from me.)

2) Laura: I’m looking for someone (my girlfriend.)

Mashiro: What a coincidence! I’m looking for my girlfriend too!

3) Love how StarTwi staff have said Lala’s “On my home planet I am TOTALLY AN ADULT” is a lie, but she still got grouped in on Team Adult… as the token kid.

4) I will say, the evil alien bunny girl does have a really good sense of style.

5) Tsubasa just fanboys every time he meets a princess, huh. What a dork. <3

6) I missed Manatsu and Laura so much. But you know who I missed more? Nodoka. Also love the inherent in-joke of Nodoka talking about how she misses and is looking for Rabirin to Mashiro, who shares a VA.

7) So yeah the train part made me go wibbly. Also, Nodoka took up running to build her stamina but still can’t run as fast as the others, none of whom are particularly athletic but also aren’t chronically ill. YES. (Laura trying to use her tail to bridge the gap was a nice touch.)

8) A tiny puppy reminds Yukari of her girlfriend, who is a dog.

9) The reunions were so cute, all times. Team Soaring Sky getting a group hug. Manatsu and Laura getting a HUGE hug while Yui and Amane and Nodoka and Asumi’s are a bit more restrained. So cute. (And then meanwhile, the adorable bunny mascot with Serious Trauma is having a very reasonable freakout. Poor Puca.)

10) Team Wing sees explosions in the castle and just vanishes for like five minutes only to reappear having already defeated Supreme’s “final boss.” High achievers, all of them.

11) Also La Mer getting to do her little “Victory!” jump and kick after her attack, even though they’re still running. So cute.

12) Reiterating what I said when Toei posted the first Big All-Precure Fight Scene: People were not kidding, Milky Rose looks dead there, and I’m not sure we actively see her get up later in the scene when everyone rallies? I… assume so? Looking forward to people uploading screenshots of a lot of the quick shot sequences to get a closer look (that one and the Cure Allies shots during All For One Forever, in particular.)

13) So the last couple movies hadn’t used Miracle Lights. Sure. But would it really be an All Stars movie - for a milestone anniversary, no less - without them? Of course not.

14) I am always a sucker for a good memory montage featuring the power of love. And oh, that was a good one. Not sure my favorite: Manatsu and Laura and Yui and Amane reacting to their shared memories are both fantastic, but so’s Yukari just standing by the wall as her memory plays out, and of course they pick That Scene from Healin’ Good for Rabirin and Nodoka’s maximum emotional impact.

15) That said: Distinctly NOT a fan of Supreme’s design featuring a darker skin tone once she goes evil and only when she goes evil, even though she keeps the black costume change in the ending.

16) I was admittedly a LITTLE disappointed when I got the soundtrack to realize they weren’t repeating All Stars Memories with a like twelve-minute fight scene track that was a medley of the theme songs. I do love the eight-minute medley track. All For One Forever is more than acceptable as a substitute, though.

17) We finally get the Delicious Party/Kirakira a la mode teamup we all wanted and deserved. Plus, bonus food-themed Cures adding their own powers to the mix! The ULTIMATE battle cake.

18) Also great: Laura and Minami’s “did we just become best friends?” attack. (All the thematic combos were delightful but seriously La Mer and Mermaid just seeing each other and going “let’s do a combo” is PERFECT.)

19) Yukari and Akira trying to act cool once they’re reunited, like Yukari hasn’t been utterly miserable all movie because her girlfriend is gone. Lala wiping out some cannon fodder so Yukari can have a moment with her girlfriend. (Lala understands. Her girlfriend was past the cutoff for getting two major cast members this movie. Probably because Nodoka and Rabirin with Team Prism had thematic purpose and a sequence break would look seriously weird - Hikaru seems like a shoo-in for Team Sky’s Goofball Energy And Preme.)

20) Cure Puca, like Ellee, gets the benefits of being a Precure seemingly requiring you to be a humanoid teenager/whatever’s going on with Cure Earth Who Is At Least This Tall Unless You’re A Mascot: being able to give a heroic speech.

21) Things I’m remembering last-minute I enjoyed: Sora showing the others her Hero Diary and being sad when she sees the “We Are Pretty Cure” page of her and Prism holding hands. Sora incorporating Yui’s and Manatsu’s mottos into her own. The lead Cures during the Portals Sequence all being like “yeah we don’t really know what’s going on here but we’ve all been in an All Stars movie or several before, we can handle this, sure.” The emphasis on hand-holding in general, particularly that FLASH of the battle they lost and Precious that Sora gets the first time she takes Yui’s hand and the vaguer one for Manatsu’s. And in a “this amused me” way, the way everyone getting lined up for the battle before the Requisite Explosion Jump is just them floating in space like a bunch of dolls on invisible shelves because it’s the only way to manage this all, there’s like 80 of them, it is SO MANY PRECURE.

So yeah, solid movie, I enjoyed it greatly. Probably gonna give it a minute until I finally watch the Healin’ Good one.

For the Final Battle against Dr. Doom with everyone learning He was Manipulating everything from the Start involving the War for the Healing Garden, To get into Latvaria to get Revenge on Dr. Doom for Secretly Attacking the land of Hearts by using Bombs to cause Earthquakes in an effort to punish PreCure for ruining his plans of 2020, the Jerkinators and Ketchum Alliance came up with the Idea of Smuggling them into Latvaria, By placing Pretty Cure All Stars (From Max Heart to Healin Good) and the Fairies of UFO in Crystal Freeze, Being placed in Crystal Freeze will hide your thermal heat from any and all life-form Scanner, If some of you are familiar with my work so far, Being in Crystal Freeze places you in a Hibernation state and for as long as the Panel operator wished, the Process however can be Dangerous if not used properly, Aside from it being used for long distance Travel from World to World, it would be considered as a form of Punishment for anybody that's committed a crime against the PreCure Race, Before going into Crystal Freeze, All PreCure have to wear these Special Latex suits that can not just cover there privates and would serve as a Regulator for there Body Temperature, kinda like a Diving suit.

Vanessa grew worried when Diabolos used his magic to turn Noir, a German Shepherd who had never known happiness, into a Negative Boss. It turned out that Noir was a Pre Negative Boss, which surprised Sapphire who couldn't believe he hadn't already become a full Negative Boss. Sapphire asked how they were going to proceed and Vanessa showed her a picture of Lumière, a female kangaroo patissière who lived in Ichigozaka, a small town. Vanessa told her that soon Noir would come to this town and she wanted him to meet Lumière. Vanessa hoped that Lumière would be able to lift Noir's spirits and get rid of the evil inside him. Sapphire wondered if that would work but didn’t dare question her mother.

In the year 1920 CE, Noir visited Ichigozaka and met Lumière like Vanessa had hoped. Unfortunately, Vanessa's plan backfired when Noir's anger escalated because Lumière refused to make sweets only for him and as a result unlocked his Negative Boss powers. He stained Ichigozaka in darkness. As they watched Sapphire asked what they would do now. Vanessa said that it seemed like Lumière was the only one who wasn’t affected which meant that she would have to be the one to start the fight with Noir.

Sapphire questioned what she meant by ‘start’. Vanessa didn’t answer as she gave Lumière the ability to turn into a Cure and use an attack. Sapphire again questioned what was going on. Vanessa explained that Lumière wouldn't be enough to defeat Noir, only lock him away. She then told her daughter that in a few years when Noir returned, they would be ready to send the real Cures out but now was not the time.

When Lumière managed to lock him away she started to disappear. Vanessa quickly captures her spirit and creates a shrine to her under Ichigoyama. She then turned the land above into a hidden place for a new kind of Flicky called a Kirakiraru Flicky.

Vanessa explains that these Flickies have the power to see the Kirakiraru in desserts and to make it while also harnessing it. Vanessa created five other groups of these fairies and put them in towns with high levels of Kirakiraru.

Sapphire suggested giving the fairies Mobian forms so they could spread more happiness and Kirakiraru in the world, but Vanessa made it so they had to earn it by undergoing enough training.

Vanessa turned the leader of the Ichigoyama Kirakiraru Flicky, Chourou, into a Cure Flicky (by the time the Cures are activated he is an Ancient Flicky) and gave him the KiraPati in box form to guard.

A few years later, ten Kirakiraru Flickies are born but these Flickies look different. The other fairies tried to be nice to them but soon they were cast out for being unable to harness Kirakiraru. At that time Sapphire was working on making the five Sweets Pacts and Candy Rods and Vanessa was working on perfecting the magic that would create the Animal Sweets so neither saw this nor when Julio turned them into the Kirakiraru Thieves and when they did notice it, it was already too late. When the Kirakiraru Thieves attacked Ichigoyama, Vanessa quickly linked the items to the card.

Kirarin is a Kirakiraru Rabbit Flickie by birth but when she is Ciel Kirahoshi, she is a Horse Mobian. When she is Cure Parfait she is a Peguse.

~ When Rio realizes how sister-like your relationship towards him is, he’s genuinely confused. He doesn’t understand why you care so much. Not just as a normal friend, but like his actual sister. He questions your behavior, so you just tell him the truth. You see him as a little brother. He’s still confused as to why, but he’s not against it.

~ Rio’s actual older sister, Ciel, is already a handful. And for other siblings, it’s usually the other way around. But Rio can get a bit overwhelmed and a bit intimidated by her and her skills.
