My 2023 TBR (11/?) 

I have two of Mary Steward’s novels and I’ve been meaning to read them. 

I wanted to read Edith Wharton’s Summer. I have two unread novels by her. My copy of Age of Innocence was in an earlier photo for this shoot. 

The Bostonians by Henry James is supposedly the literary reference for The Boston Marriage (!!!). So I thought maybe I should read it?

The Grass Widow by Nanci Little is sapphic and historic fiction (I think it’s a wild west/American frontier story). I saw a review on here, actually which prompted me to buy a copy.

While working on my next big WIP, I realized there were some other needed things, so I made this set first. Converted from WoW. Note some of the tree items are names as "bush", because when exporting they were named as such and placed the "trunk" below the ground line, but while editing these I decided to raise some to let them look like trees.

Always suggested: bb.objects ON, it makes placing items much easier. For further placement tweaking, check out the TOOL mod.

Giant American chestnuts down the road from me. Last fall I harvested a bunch of fallen nuts from them. I ate some and this spring I planted ones that had been stratified in my fridge. While not native to my area at all, these trees are truly remarkable. If you get a chance look up the plight of the American chestnuts. They used to blanket the east coast but due to the Chinese chestnut blight they are now incredibly rare.
