Since Ji Ho had been able to fix Vlad's blindness before, they were looking for him. But he was nowhere to be found and didn't answer his phone. Saiwa has a hunch: "What happened yesterday? I should have known making the farm visible couldn't have been solved this easily. Why are you blind, Vlad?"

They went back to the farm to see if Ji Ho is there.

Jack is already running inside. Saiwa: "Vlad wait, Jeb is going to help you to dismount."

Vlad: "We need to leave immediately! Ji Ho went to Sulani! Alone!" Saiwa: "Did Vlad fall on his head?"

Jeb: "I'm sorry, he was too fast. But Vlad, Ji Ho would never set a foot at Sulani again. His life there was a nightmare. Let's get you patched up and then we try to find Ji Ho." Vlad: "NO! I've seen his dead brother, with the ghost and the shell! The shell resembles Sulani and the ghost Guidry, who also vanished at Sulani!"

Saiwa: "Vlad, that's nonsense. If he wanted to save his brother and Guidry, he would have told us and we would have helped him." Vlad: "He thought he is a nuisance and a danger to us." Saiwa: "Why would he think that? What happened that night?"

Vlad: "I wanted Ji Ho to be free to choose whom he loves and spare him from this 'save the world with making love' madness! So I wanted to cut our bond. I did this for you too. We can't be on the run forever. Each one of you deserves a life without this madness. Ji Ho must have had the same thoughts. You are all only in danger because of us and that damn bond."

Saiwa: "Do you really think that? What life would that be under the Council? Yes, we all want a better life - but this won't be possible without fighting for it! And that's why we are doing this!"

Saiwa: "So what happened?" Vlad sighs: "I remembered the prophecy and Morgan's offer and I called her to bond with her and finally end this. She must have told Ji Ho about my intentions." Saiwa started to cry: "I can't believe you did this. Why is no one ever talking to us before he does something stupid? But you didn't, right? Otherwise you couldn't have made the farm visible again, right? Tell me you didn't bond with Morgan!"

Vlad: "I couldn't. And she left." Saiwa: "Let me guess. Ji Ho does still think you did, right? Because you don't talk, right? Gods - I can't believe I shipped you!"

Saiwa squared his shoulders: "Get in the car. We're heading for Sulani." Vlad is Jack's best friend. But Jack is not sure if he can forgive him this. But Saiwa will kill Vlad anyway after they found Ji Ho, so...

They were out for most of the damn morning! *shakehead* Servos, man…

Anyway – Victor of course went to the greenhouse to help Elmer and Bugs with their efforts (the over-sized crops needed lots of weeding, watering, and bug-spraying), while Smiler sprinkled feed for the chickens, chatted with them, and got the eggs (six normal eggs and one hatchable this time) and Alice cleaned off poor dirty Moory. And then attempted to appease the specter bobbing around the cow paddock with her basic silver bracelet – only for the specter to go “what, no crystal?” and get all snippy. *shakehead* Damn picky specters… As Alice was hungry anyway, I had her flee the area in favor of going to the kitchen, where she set the table (I keep meaning to use that future more, so it seemed a perfect opportunity), cleaned all the spoiled stuff out of the fridge, then chowed down on most of a plate of spinach frittata for lunch. Smiler, meanwhile, made an eco-upgrade part, then fixed a busted water collector before going upstairs to have a nice bath in their newly-upgraded tub. Because no point in doing the upgrades if Sims can’t enjoy them! Once I was sure they were good, I had Alice head back over to Moory’s shed to refill her feed, then try to bond with the cow – unfortunately, the conversation went poorly. “Okay,” I thought, “let’s have her give the cow some prairie grass hay instead for a snack” –

And then watched as Moory VANISHED and Alice did the glitch thing of putting her hands behind her to “feed” the invisible cow. O.o I checked both her personal inventory and the household one, but didn’t see the cow. Fortunately she reappeared a little bit later, but that was WEIRD. Game – game, can you not.

-->Anyway – with that kind of sorted, I had Alice go do some more recycling, clearing out the bin and a bunch of rotten stuff in everyone’s inventories (including some of the massive amount of Granite-Falls-specific fruit and mushrooms in the household inventory – I’m not doing anything with it!). Once she was done with that, I checked the cow paddock anxiously – and upon seeing Moory was back to normal (whew), I thus sent her to give Moory a PROPER treat (Animal Party, to improve her social need) and milk her, getting the normal six bottles of milk. *nods* Good. Now let’s hope the cow doesn’t glitch out again!

While that was happening, I woke Marm from his “enhancement downloading” trance and had him chat with Smiler for a bit (gotta get him to bond with the other members of the household, after all), then had Smiler head down to see if they could help Victor in the greenhouse while Marm went to play with the cowplant again (I guess Toothy is now officially “his” pet). By the time they got down there, though, pretty much all the tending had been taken care of, so I instead had them initiate the great super-sell while Victor got the beeswax and honey from his bee box, and then collected a swarm to pollinate the trees at the back of the greenhouse. Victor then went in to use the bathroom while Smiler deactivated Bugs and Elmer (though they left them in the greenhouse, since they still have decent battery). Once that was done, I took a moment to make sure everyone was in a good spot and all the milk and eggs and such were in the fridge –

The Boys are packing their belongings together. They'll leave the farm early tomorrow morning. One of the neighbors gifted them an old horse trailer for Adriano. (In fact they were happy to get rid of it. Now that the horse hype is over, the trailers can be found abandoned all over Chestnut Ridge...) Jack: "Ah I can't wait to leave! We almost spent two months here in this wasteland!"

Ji Ho looks not good at all. Saiwa: "Don't worry. We will find a place for us. In the meantime we can stay at the Bunker or at the Temple." Ji Ho: "Ok..." Saiwa doesn't know about his inner turmoil revolving around Vlad and his dead brother...

And then Kiyoshi called Saiwa inside. Kiyoshi: "I'm leaving tonight. It's too uncertain for me now that the Farm is visible again and I'm not protected by how different time goes by here. The Council will want to see me soon. And I thought I might have my eyes and ears there to warn you if somthing comes up about you." Saiwa: "Thank you, Kiyoshi. For everything you did for us."

Kiyoshi: "And Dtui wanted me to give this to you. You know our deity, Kōjin, is watching over the household (editor's note: not only Kōjin, the three old hags too!) and so we learned about Jeb's and your problem..." Saiwa: "Problem?" Kiyoshi: "Him beeing afraid to hurt you." Saiwa: "Ohhh... and there is something inside this box that can help?"

Kiyoshi: "Yes, it's a wand and polish. Dtui bought it at 'Ye Olde Magick Shoppe' near the school they went to." Saiwa: "A wand? But I can't use wands and Jeb never uses a wand either." Kiyoshi: "Therefore. This is a special 'wand'. And it will help you to - slowly - get accustomed to Jeb's 'wand'. Make sure to use plenty of the 'polish'."

Saiwa: "Ohhh! I see! Oh Kiyoshi! That's so thoughtful. It will help us so much! I was a bit clueless, I must admit."

Saiwa: "Thank you Kiyoshi and thank Dtui and Kōjin from us! You are really something else. I felt that from the first moment I met you - it literally hit me like a bolt! Hahaha."

On The Subject Of Bots: A Former Bot Farm Operator Speaks On The Process (Also spread this video all over this website. I mean it. Spread it. For a whole set of reasons-one of them being antiblackness)

Wanna give you guys some information because American bot farm operators are pretty rare. Most bot farms operate oversea. I don't know if there's anyone like me in the US that can tell you this stuff is what I'm saying.

I'm typically way secretive about this but it's gotten so bad I need to talk about it

So what is a bot farm ? Something that an individual or a company purchases. You get a set amount of bots that look like normal people, go out, and spread your message. And here's the work that goes ino that:

I as a operator have to create each individual fake person. I have to create a bio. I have to create a username, a real name, then I have to generate content that has to be supportive of the message the client is paying for.

Positive opinion of the company or the individual. If anyone has ever tried to create content (you know that) that takes time and also that takes ideas; it's not easy.

Finally you need to program these bots based on activity. Bots respond to what you do.

You think that you going around and liking things is invisible. It's not. You're leaving a footprint across the app. That footprint is tracked by people like me. So based on what other people like or comment on, I program my bot to go and search for those people, find them, and then interact with them with my content that supports the message that I created.

This programming also includes research to find the people that are the most susceptible to believing the message that you're selling, and targeting those people. This is just a scratch on the surface of what it takes to program one of these. And people are buying hundreds of them.

Now here's the interesting part. The software to run all these bots is not free. And the time that it takes to create all the things that I just told you about also not free. All of this stuff costs money.

And it represents money when you see it. If you're seeing non stop videos posted with a certain agenda, someone's paying for that. So when you see a dump/ a ton of media that's telling you all the same message, do not say wow what a thing happening right now.

Please instead say wow who's trying to buy my opinion on this topic ?
