There are literally not enough songs in the known universe that begin with  ‘E’ or ‘Z’ to complete the name. I hate this man and his ridiculously long name, I hate this ask game, I hate you I hate myself. This took my three fucking days, I hate it.

have some time so i’m going to make a very dorky list of all the meaning/references in this under the cut ♡
images are all cut from a few sources. tried to limit my scope. there's some thrifted postcards, a book of antiques, couple of old magazines, a vintage time atlas, and a cocktail recipe book.
top middle is the only part from scratch, it’s a phil quote from his reports in book 3. tried to write it like i was filled with bitter lust. *edit* mad at myself, realised later this particular report would have been typed instead of handwritten
the skeletons are the absent (but ever present) other dean and cas. they’re outlined with a paint chip card called “devils cloak” (funnily enough, i was just trying to find a blood-like colour). there is a rose garden under dean & some black goo under cas. the goo is the only other piece not found as is, photocopied instead because i couldn’t cut it from the source.
the hippo postcard that got this all started is framed, i wanted the blue of the water to link with the blue of the sky in rome below.
above it are stained glass church windows, framed with jewellery charms of moons, suns, stars, men, & angels.
below is a antique ceramic pipe bowl in the shape of a goddess' face, the bowl looking like a hole in her head. underneath are fanned out antique arrows.
the corners are a quilt, which along with the plate, cup & knives are for the domesticity of it all. wanted to keep the mirror/duality theme throughout by using these this way. one of the knives is antique, the other is from a log cabin themed cutlery set.
the deck of cards & pipe in an ashtray are illustrations by m c esher. i have a few books of his work, i think cas would really dig him.
underneath those, part of a snow covered tree, and a mirrored shape cut of some hung party lights.
behind is a town square in rome, picked particularly because of all the cars. more roman pillars underneath framing some sheep in a field, a kansas map, and some hands. i don't think i have to explain hands here on the destiel website. was going for a alice down the rabbit hole/brownie bite hallucination perspective here.
to the left, a sculpture by gustav eberlein, "gott vater haucht adam den odem ein" (god breathes life into adam), full disclosure, i did just pick up this postcard because it looks like they're kissing.
to the right, an eldritch horror homage using a whisky bottle and some painted cherubs.
clock included for time travel reasons, chose this one because of the roman numerals, also liked the golden ouroboros frame for helping the psychedelic/infinity/lucifer vibe. the hands are from a older artwork which i don't remember the name of. the hearts are because i'm a sap & i wanted to call attention to the heart shape of the original clock hands.
andddd i think that's it?

found one hippo post card at the op shop and well, went a bit mad. seperis' fault.

What’s even better than make-out sessions? Disgustingly sweet domesticity. I hope you enjoy the fic!
There were a lot of things Pidge was expecting when she walked into the kitchen. She was expecting to grab a bowl. She was expecting to squirt some food goo. She was expecting to retreat back to her room with said goo and not have to endure the accusatory glances from her teammates because she stayed up all night on the computer. Again.
Approaching the door, Pidge heard soft giggling and voices, which already struck her as odd. Hunk was usually the only one in there, and even if Coran was helping him pick ingredients that wouldn’t kill them all, they certainly wouldn’t be working so quietly. The metal slid aside, and Pidge peered in.
     She wasn’t expecting that.
Keith was dressed in a ridiculous frilly apron, trying and failing to maintain his stoic demeanor. He gave up, smiling softly as Lance stifled more chuckles from his perch on the counter. With an irritated but fond huff, Keith planted a soft kiss on Lance’s nose, successfully turning him the same shade of pink as the apron.
Pidge slowly backed out into the hallway, door closing between her and the scene she had intruded upon. She stood in stunned silence for a moment before running a hand through her hair in disbelief; Keith and Lance were a thing. Keith and Lance were a thing. She had had her suspicions for a while, but she had no idea that the two numbskulls would be able to figure it out on their own.  She nearly laughed out loud, forgetting about the food goo entirely. Pidge was definitely showing up to dinner that night.
“Pidge? At dinner? I was starting to think you live on code and energy bars,” Lance remarked as Pidge took her seat. She rolled her eyes in response and dug in to the feast Hunk had prepared.
The whole time, Pidge watched Keith and Lance bicker. Something almost imperceptible had changed in the way that Lance tilted his eyebrows, how Keith bumped their shoulders together; she couldn’t believe she hadn’t noticed it before. It was probably because she wasn’t around to notice, she scolded herself. But now that she knew... why didn’t they say anything? She couldn’t think of a reason. The team wasn’t supposed to keep secrets from each other, right?
Pidge came to the realization that she wouldn’t get to tease them if no one else knew, and with that, she made up her mind. It wasn’t her job to tell everyone, so she was just going to have to get them to say it themselves.
“Whatcha thinking about?” Hunk asked, startling Pidge out of her conniving.
An evil grin made its way across her face, and she spoke loud enough for Keith and Lance to hear.
“Nothing, really. Just thinking how weird it’d be to see Keith baking. Can you imagine seeing him in a frilly apron, trying to make a cake or something?”
Lance’s jaw dropped, and Keith snapped out and closed it with a hand.
“T-That’s never going to happen,” Keith retorted.
Lance pulled Keith’s wrist down, shooting him a nervous glance. “That would be the day! Imagine Mullet in his crop top jacket, finished off with a bright pink apron! Haha, ha, heh...” He chuckled nervously. Hunk stared at him in confusion, while Pidge pushed further.
“We all have those secret things we like, right? It’s neat to share and see people’s surprise, especially if it’s important to you,” she pressed. By then, Shiro and Allura had joined the conversation, and they looked to Keith and Lance to explain Pidge’s odd behavior.
“Like... like how Keith loves hippos!” Lance blurted out. Keith rapidly nodded, adding, “And sparkly things for Allura.” They sagged a bit in relief, but Pidge had one last part to her plan. She stood, grabbing her empty dish and walking by the boys as if to go clean it up. She leaned in and whispered almost inaudibly.
“If you don’t tell them, I will.”
Keith threw his hands in the air. “Fine! It’s true! Lance and I are dating, alright?!” He turned to Lance, who was frozen save for a twitching hand halfway to his bowl of goo. “There’s no point in hiding anymore, especially if we haven’t been too great at hiding in the first place.”
Shock rippled through the room. Pidge was the first to break the silence, clapping her free hand on Lance’s shoulder. “It’s about time! How long have you two been lovey-dovey anyway?” “Just a couple of months, and we have not been ‘lovey-dovey!’” Lance replied indignantly. At his return to normalcy, the tension dissipated, and the team exploded with questions and celebration.
“You’re welcome, by the way,” Pidge said to Keith and Lance as they all headed out of the dining hall. “I suppose we should thank you, considering we can be all gross around the castle now,” Lance joked, smooching Keith sloppily and earning an “ew, nasty!” from Pidge. “Oh! On that note, there is one other secret I think the team deserves to know,” She said, pulling out her makeshift phone. Keith and Lance turned to her, quizzical expressions turning to horror and delight respectively. It was a perfect candid shot of Keith in the apron, twisting his face in disgust. “Gimme that!” Keith cried, swiping for the device. Pidge darted away, prize clutched in hand.
Pidge sprinted down the hallway, smirk giving way to cackling as footsteps pounded behind her. She made it to her bedroom, slamming the close button and collapsing on the floor in relief. She stared at the ceiling, chest heaving.
She really needed to leave her room more often.

Keith/Hunk
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEITH I LOVE YOU AND SO DOES HUNK
Who gets excited about Halloween in July:Hunk! Although winter is his favorite season, he really enjoys Halloween!
Who starts wearing sweaters and scarves on the first day of September and completely overheats:Keith does! As soon as the month changes, he expects the weather to change. (Sadly, that’s not quite how weather works.)
Who thrives in Fall/Who prefers Summer and warm weather:They both adore fall! Keith loves the crisp nights and the fall scents, while Hunk loves bundling up and cooking with fall flavors! Plus, they BOTH love seeing the leaves change color! (Hunk sometimes jumps in piles of fallen leaves.)
Who thinks the other looks so cute when they’re cold and trying to fight it with 50 sweaters:Hunk can’t help but feel bad when Keith gets super cold, so he often gives hugs to help him out~
Who offers the other their jacket:Hunk! He’s so giving and doesn’t mind putting his boyfriend before himself
Who doesn’t want to get out of bed in the morning because it’s too cold and has to run from the warm covers to the shower:Keith HATES cold tile on his bare feet!
Who touches the other with their freezing cold feet at night:Keith, but he doesn’t mean to do it! Hunk is prepared with his warm socks. “Dude, do you want a pair of these?” “…I don’t need them.”“I have red ones.”“… maybe.”
Who makes the hot cider to snuggle under a blanket and drink:Hunk does! It’s also his favorite way to decompress after a tough mission or a rocky flight.
Who loves carving pumpkins and buys about 300:Hunk gets waaaay too excited about pumpkin carving and buys more than they could reasonably decorate.
Who is terrible at carving pumpkins:“Keith, you don’t stab a pumpkin like you’d stab a Galra!”
Who thinks pulling the pumpkin guts out with their hands is icky:Hunk does not enjoy that part. He’d rather shove his hands in buckets of Altean food goo.
What is their favourite Fall activity:Apple picking! Aside from the fact that they make fresh pies, ciders, or apple carvings when they get home, Hunk always gets a chance to carry Keith on his shoulders~
Who gets scared when they watch Horror movies:HUNK DOES NOT DO HORROR MOVIES
Who hands out candy to trick-or-treaters:Keith! Given the choice, he’d rather stay home than trick-or-treat.
Who accidentally scares the kids:Keith, but he doesn’t do it deliberately! He just gives off an eerie loner vibe, and it seems a little menacing on a spooky night like Halloween…
Who suggested the couples costume:Actually, it was Keith! He debated for a long time whether or not to bring up the idea, but when he casually mentions it to Hunk, Hunk is absolutely THRILLED! He’d wanted to do a couples costume all along, but he never thought Keith would agree to try!
What is their couples costume:Hiro and Baymax
What is the best Halloween they ever had:The year that Hunk won Keith a little hippo plushie at a fall fair for his birthday, which is right before Halloween. Keith gave it a costume and brought it to Lance’s Halloween party.
What is the worst Halloween they ever had:That would be the year that Keith somehow convinced Hunk to try Halloween Horror Nights. Never again.
Who eats too much candy and ends up sick the next day:Hunk…
