Did a redesign of Connor’s mystery wife! She’s gotta be my oldest OC, I literally designed her like a week after I got into AC back in February 2019. I know @ramshackledtrickster has posted her a bunch, but I wanted to share her on here too :3

Her name is Tekonwenaharake! That’s more of a placeholder name, really, since there’s a living Mohawk person with the name, but I don’t wanna just refer to her as “T” or “Connor’s wife,” so I’ll be tagging her like this if I post her more!

These drawings came about because I was playing around with drawing her more historically accurate. Eventually, I found a happy medium between her original design and historical records from the time (paintings, clothes, etc.). I really loved how this turned out and I hope you guys do too!

Also fun fact: I always try to make her look like an older version of Io:nhiòte since I imagine she looks a lot like her mom. I imagine even the earrings were gifts to Io:nhiòte that she then wears in the AC Reflections comic!

Just had the mental image of modern AU Romance Dawn trio where Nami was the only one who had a bike and so they would constantly use her to get around town. Luffy either sat on the handle bars or more funnily, the basket and Zoro sat on the back but Nami got sick of peddling them around so she switched with Zoro. Problem was, Zoro had no idea where they were going all of the time. So instead of sitting back to back she had to turn around and give directions. And if Zoro didn’t listen, she would reach forward and YANK the handle to where they needed to turn. Luffy has fallen off multiple times through this and laughs every single time finding it hilarious.

I have been using my bullet journal less and less in the past year, because I simply didn't have the energies to keep up with it. With over half a journal empty I decided not to give up on it, and go back to my roots of using it to organize things in a way that should be efficient and not necessarly pretty or tidy. I made a simple header for the year, wrote down my little calendars to use as a reference when I need them, and then worked on a general February spread as well as a specific one in which I organized the materials I'll need to work on for my next exam. Will I plan things weekly and use to do lists like I used to? I have no idea. I will keep the journal on my desk and use it when I need to organize stuff and embrace the chaos of it. Maybe the monthly page will be enough to write down appointments and general things I have to get done, maybe not. I don't really care, it's there to be useful and will probably get messy and it's fine by me. I don't want to spend money on an agenda or something if I can avoid it, so let's see if going back to a less structured use of this journal is the way to go.

I don't know if we'll ever get to see more of it, but the early SaintShin dynamic re Saint's gang is so interesting to me.

Obviously, Saint is poor, isn't doing well academically, has an alcoholic father, and doesn't have a lot of control over his life and his future. Was the gang (built on the only thing he was good at - fighting) the only place where he could feel in control? Was this why this place, where Saint could be the best and the most important, meant so much to him?

But then again, we see that he is willing to let Shin be the "Boss", order him around, playfully insult him, and poke him. So obviously Shin had a very special place in the hierarchy, especially considering that he has to be personally cajoled by Saint into going to the internet cafe for some fight.

So it's all the more interesting (read totally fucking me up) that when Shin tried to leave it was the gang and its rules that Saint tried to use to make him stay, where previously Shin was more or less exempt from them. Was it because Saint felt like his control was slipping? Because he thought that putting Shin back into this hierarchy would give Saint power to make him stay? Because even right before the whole beatdown starts Saint still asks Shin if he's sure he wants to do this (with a kind of desperate hope that this is the point where Shin will finally reconsider). It is also interesting that Saint is the only one beating Shin, with all other boys just kinda...standing there, since usually a punishment like that would entail a sort-of group-beatdown? And god, what a stupid rule, truly deserving of a group of 15-16 year old boys.

Still, it's like even at his angriest Saint can't alow anyone else to hurt Shin.

It's also curious how in the present one of the first things Saint does is express his willingness to be Shin's gofer, again trying to put them both in this sort of rigid hierarchy, just with their roles reversed. Is it out of desire to have a familiar pattern to fall into in a very unfamiliar situation? An attempt to forge at least some sort of relationship between them?

Something-something patriarchy and society making boys believe they can only express anger and not sadness, something-something Shin saying no one will ever make him cry again, and still shedding tears whenever he is face to face with Saint.

batta bing batta boom rewritting/redesigning types of ghosts oh and punky's there

ok before u get confused of his design the types of ghosts are seperated in two different types the Naturals and the Stripped.

The normal Natural ghosts dies from old age, being shot, stabbed, pierced, poisoned, run over by a vehicle, a disease/virus, etc. Their appearance for both Stripped and Naturals are almost the same exept the Naturals have marks for how they died.

I made a new type of ghost called the Earth ghosts. The Naturals died from anything assosieted with nature or earth like killed by a wild animal, stabbed or crushed by a tree, earthquicks, etc. The Natural ghosts have more diverse hair types and larger antlers. The Naturals's gems/crystals change color from emotions. Earth ghosts in general are very calm and soothing and theirs very few Earth ghosts that rebel, like Punky.

The Stripped antlers, leaves, and hair has different colors depending on the season they were born in. The gems/crystals are the birthstones for the ghosts. The floating crystals can also be used as legs. The hair they only have avalible is the regular leaves, canadian leaves, or leaves of where they were from.

The Natural Earth ghosts are from ancient forests and temples and some Stripped Earth ghosts can be in the Netherworld.

The rest are rly old so bear with me

The Stripped are like the ones in the show, just a bit redesigned. Their speed in the water is much much faster compared the the rest of the other ghosts in water as they get slower due to the slime and the water musing up together. They have a more fierced or scary look and can go out of water but they're slower.

The Natural ghosts died from drowning, water poisoning, a wildlife from the oceon, running of oxygen in the gas tank, etc.. Their speed regular but their movements more fluid and graceful to the point where they can make turns just in the right time. They have a beautiful appearance and comes in many shapes and patterns. When they get out of water, they slowly die like fishes. They also have sharp eyes that help them see through the dark caves or the bottom of the ocean.

The Water ghosts are from any parts of the ocean.

The Natural ghosts died from being burned alive, the smoke from the fire, the heat, falling into a volcano or covered in lava, etc.. The Naturals are like the ones in the show, no pupils and sharp eyes. Their end can either be skinny or a large fire. They do have hairstyles but it's hard to shape it out perfectly since it's actually pure fire and not slime. Inside the furnaces are their hearts and if it's in the cold for too long, the Naturals turn into ashes slowly (And they can get freaky like the transformers cores😈😈).

The Stripped ghosts have pupils for eyes and some can be round eye shapes. Their end can be skinny or layered out like the one Betrayus has. Their hairstyles are the ones they had before they were stripped and can become pure fire if angry enough.

The Fire ghosts are from the Netherworlds

The Natural Ice ghosts died from avalanges, blizzards, snow storms stabbed by an icicle, the cold and snow, etc.. Similar to the Fire ghosts, the Stripped have pupils and can have round eyes and the Naturals have no pupils and only one shape. The snowflake on top is like the furnaces but exposed, if it melts, then the ghost will melt too (and they cant get freaky with the snowflake). Their arms are entirly covered in snow and ice, so much so that they can be taller than the ghost itself. They lack hair but the floating ice around them can create hair in a way.

The Stripped ghosts have a spiky cloak-like end and can sometimes have sleeves. Their hair comes in many ways and shapes, first the slightly melt the ice, then they shape it into them and the desired hair, and finally freezing it into full ice. In a temperature like the Netherworld, their hair can melt slowly and their ice powers can get weaker which is why theres no Ice ghosts in the Netherworld. They also have triangular eyebrows which the Naturals and most of the ghosts lack. Their end can be either small or large, or none.

The Ice ghosts are located in the Frostedlands (located under Pacopolis far from the Netherworld.)
