Imo the best ending to Supernatural would have been to just stop with them alive on a random hunt or them finding jobs and living the life they just wanted or whatever.

And then the story just fucking STOP, because Chuck is not here anymore, so they are no longer part of a story they are finally free. And we could still write and read fanfic about how they live after they won.

Y'know I kind of feel like when Megatron killed Tarn and said 'I want you to spend your final moments thinking of this: that everything you've done has been for nothing' he was kind of self-projecting onto Tarn? Mainly because at Megatron's statue, M and T had a conversation where Tarn explicitly asked if all the Decepticons in service to Megatron died for nothing, if HE did everything he did for nothing. (And I think M even gave an answer along the lines of 'idk I think we basically did'). And then after Megatron killed the DJD and Rodimus teleported in to rescue him, there was that silent moment where Megatron just stared at Rodimus not moving at all before he finally took his hand at the last moment.

It honestly feels to me like for a while, Megatron fully intended to murder-suicide himself. Murder the DJD, his monsters and his creation, and then take himself out alongside them, because he is also a monster. Because he also feels that everything he's ever done has been for nothing.

Goddamn it's no wonder I liked that scene so much LMAO, as someone who thinks villain Megatron > Autobot Megatron, literally one of his key traits is that Megatron basically took his pain/trauma/worldview and used it to lash out at the universe and try to subjugate it to his vision. So the fact that he took his own pain and brutally murdered the DJD while telling them the very same thing that puts him through so much agony is so very deliciously ironic. And a return, however brief, to the Megatron characterization that I know and love.

I cannot express how mad I am about this. Finally, FINALLY, we were getting something new from Star Wars and then they cancel it just because it wasn’t made for cishet white men. Like, not only are they canceling a very good show, but they are also discouraging anyone from ever stepping outside of the Hero’s Journey ever again and telling so many Star Wars fans that the franchise isn’t for them and white men are the only people they care about. I honestly do not know how long Star Wars can feasibly go without doing something new. The Acolyte could have been a springboard into a better era of Star Wars, but Disney decided they wanted to stay in the 1970’s with George Lucas. For the sake of wrapping up the story I hope they will give it a few specials like they did with the Owl House if not a full renewal.

I love Star Wars so much and the Acolyte was such a promising sign that the franchise would grow and evolve that I forgot Disney was holding its reigns.

I think the most time was taken by the final panel and adding in the finishing touches since I pretty much had to change everything to the pixel level, quite literally lol (I'm serious, I did)

Welp I hope the results were worth it! And with that, another one gets a good ending!!

Does anyone else ever think about what a shit move it was for Lily to date her best friend's literal bully. I mean, yeah, she started dating him after she and Severus stopped speaking, but Jesus, that must have been gut wrenching for him. I kind of get why he was such a bitter asshole later in life. It doesn't justify it, but I get it. That man never got the chance to live his life for himself and I will never stop loving him.

Some random sketches I've amassed in my Procreate file for The Line of Best Fit series. I've drawn both of the boys' faces here and there for years, but for the last few months, I've actively tried to study each of their features to understand how to draw them better.

I'm really glad to be in the position I am right now where I'm capable of both telling the story and illustrating how I see them. For two years, the series continues to occupy mental and emotional space rent-free, and the more I think about the journey these characters will have to embark to get to The End — which is something I've established the moment I said fuck it, I'll write it — the harder the blow is on me (positively). But I love it. I love sharing my interpretation of Separation and Longing, of Reparation and Redemption. If it's my last work for the ship, and I find the courage to move on one day, at least this is proof that the story lives on.

I don't know where this post is headed to; maybe it's a solid thank you to everyone who's stuck around.

im not caught up with MHA so no explicit spoilers but apparently deku and uraraka didn't canonically end up together and now dudebros are being absolutely disgusting towards uraraka. And im not surprised, they've only ever seen her as an object after all. They switched on her the second she stopped being a prize, moving onto the next girl they find hot (even if it makes zero sense)

I dont recommend going into the replies of any of them, it's full of sexism. They literally cannot fathom that a crush storyline could be used for anything other than being the mc's prize. The fact is that uraraka's crush was used as a foundation for her to relate to and connect with Toga. Whether or not she ended up with Deku is irrelevant. Her growth depended on her relationship with another girl--not the protagonist-- and they can't stand that.
