#the grid family fics are about to be absolutely insane

okay, so it took me maybe a little longer than the hour on the train BUT i've successfully navigated the murky waters of the markoscar grid family tree!! (i potentially made a visual guide to my findings https://imgur.com/a/oQpo8SQ 😅, also couldn't help myself and put Brocedes as the resident DINKs of that universe in the corner of the map) he hem...

After long hours of research i have come to the highly scientific conclusion that Nando didn't just adopt Max and Oscar but that there has been an immaculate conception. The three most apparent clues of this hypothesis is the ruthlessness in driving, the "no fucks given" attitude and the lack of good dance moves. (Nando has also an adopted son, Gabriel "Gabby" Bortoleto, which therefore is part of the family tree).

Charles later legally adopted Oscar but without knowledge that Max is Oscar's brother. If he'd know, the adoption wouldn't have come to completion. Luckily, since the adoption only originated from Charles and Max, as Charles husband, refrains from adopting Charles' children, there exists no paternity from Max to Oscar, which only leaves them as brothers.

It get's complicated though on another part of the family tree, since Max has already adopted his very own grid child, Liam. This relation makes Oscar both Liam's adoptive uncle AND step brother (and Mark Liam's aunt and sister-in-law).

We also cannot forget Yuki, who was adopted by Oscar's biological mother Nicole after Oscar's adoption by Charles, which makes Yuki Oscar's brother by association.

Oscar and Mark themselves have no biological children of their own yet, but with the addition of fellow Aussie Jack Doohan and the brewing baby fever of the couple, there is no doubt that the couple will adopt the rookie in the near future to "try out" parenthood.

I also want to point out a distantly related but equally interesting part of the family tree. Nando was once married to Jenson, who brought his son Lando into the relationship who once was Oscar and Max's step brother. After the amicable divorce, Jenson found love again in form of his young boy toy Logan, the best friend of his former step son, which now makes Logan Lando's step father.

okay, your anon/nico thesis has really got me worked up because it's so true! i am also rewatching the 2016 season (for fic purposes) and the sky commentary is absolutely killing me. at first i thought it was just my hatred for the british (my country doesn't run their own f1 coverage and english is the only other language i understand so sky sports f1 it is) but these commentators and pundits are soooo biased.

whenever nico has a great race and just zooms off into the distance the commentators talk about how it's just because he's got the best car or it's really easy winning from the front, but i've just watched the malaysia race and when lewis is doing the same thing, just racing off into the distance, crofty and brundle were going on an on about how brilliant he was and how well deserved his win would have been.

equally, when lewis was fighting through the pack throughout races, usually because of bad starts (which were his fault) they would go on about how brilliant he was at overtaking blah blah, but in malaysia, when nico was having to fight his way through the pack because seb ran into him, they went, oh well of course he can, he has the best car on the grid.

also, the blatant lies and conspiracy theories that they promote are ridiculous! in malaysia, lewis complained that it was just his engine that was blowing up, but we literally heard nico's engineer telling him not to push the engine too much at the beginning of the race because they have some issues with it. and earlier in the season, when lewis said oh they switched our engineers for no reason, but we know that toto told them the reasons...

and it's so obvious that the team backed lewis. even when he was on his petty rants about how they supported nico and wanted him to win, not lewis, toto and niki put so much effort into appeasing lewis. at malaysia (still fresh in the mind lol) nico had what was genuinely one of the best races of his career, with some incredible overtakes, and managing to come back from literally last on the grid to the podium, including a time penalty (which the sky reporters were then trying to say wasn't long enough) and in the interviews afterwards toto and niki spent the entire time talking about lewis.

also if i were nico i would have been literally insane after barcelona. lewis took him out because nico was going to get him off the line again, and he wasn't even punished. he took 43 points from the team and got away with it. when nico took lewis out in spa 2014, he at least got points for the team, but was still punished for it. i literally don't know how nico didn't go completely insane over at mercedes.

did you know niki talked about how lewis would tear up his room after losing to nico (which he then paid for), then merc made him officially retract his statement 😶

i mean. nico did go insane lol, the training and full focus regiment and diet he did for 2016 was nuts. he needed 2 hours of therapy a day!!! and he walked out of a 100 million multiple year deal -- which he'd already signed!!! which means he had to pay a sweet payout for breaking the deal no doubt. but yeah even though he didn't air this part out to the media, it clearly did get to him — he proved he Can be world champion in the right car and now he had a family to go home to. and that's slay on girlboss 🫰

Max and Charles, Charles and Max. I can't choose between the two of them to save a life.

Hell yeah. I don't have any drivers I particularly 'hate' (though some of them do piss me off from time to time and I don't hold back then), but if we're talking about the current grid, Oscar, Alex, Daniel, George and Lewis are pretty up there for me, but I root for them all unless they um directly interfere with one of my favs (I'm unapologetically biased).

Who is your least favourite driver?

Very difficult question bc like I said, I don't have a particular 'dislike' for any of them so I'm just gonna leave it at that.

I root for my drivers first, but I do root for teams as well.

A really close friend of mine is a big fan but in the casual sense and I do have a few other friends who watch it casually, but no one is insane about it the way I am. My parents do not get it at all, and my brothers just watch the race with me if they're bored and yeah, that's it.

Hell yeah, I am, but you will have to put up with me through my awkward and stilted phase before I get comfortable.

New Psychonauts oc just dropped fam

I'm about to show yalls the most f*cked up guy I've ever created

"Ah, Mr. Aquato. I'm glad you could make it. I've been waiting for a chance to Break Your Mind."

SO this is Tony Bridger 😬👍 that one absolutely irredeemable scumbag OC I've vaguely talked about. I guess I should get into his morals 'n backstory and yadda yadda yadda yadda

Basically, his Father created a machine that could send brainwaves or something like that, to control people. It was his life's work. Of course this was no good, so the Psychonauts were sent in to stop him. It was Sasha Nein himself in fact, who destroyed the machine. They never caught Mr. Bridger, as he took the young Tony and they went off the grid.

After his greatest invention was destroyed, the blueprints and notes all gone, Mr. Bridger went insane. It broke him, and he fell into madness. Tony tried his best to help the broken shambles of a man he knew as his father, but the poor kid was to young to be able to do anything.

Eventually, Mr. Bridger killed himself accidentally. He had stumbled onto some train tracks, got knocked out, and then a train came and ran over his unconscious body. The only family Tony had, which was already broken, was now gone. As if the insanity was infectious, Tony's mind seemed to break as well.

Its was those Psychonauts fault! It was that Agents fault! If they hadn't intervened, he'd still have a father. He didn't care if he took over the world, burned it to the ground. The only man he had to take care of him was gone, and it was all their fault.

So Tony's next plan, was to take action on how to help himself cope. In the worst. Way. Imaginable.

Since the age 14 he's been perfecting this twisted method. He somehow manged how to astrally project someone without a Psy-portal or a Brain Tumbler, and pull them into his mind. This is where the fun stuff starts

As if he's been working on it months, he's able to dig around your subconscious, find people you love, hate, respect, it doesn't matter, and twist and deform them into monsters to torment and torture you. He can create mental constructs in a matter of seconds somehow, with puzzles and monster so insane and so vile, any person who he drags into his mind...

Goes Mad.

When he was 20, he was discovered practicing this disgusting and ominous way of torment, and was thrown into one of the biggest prisons/insane asylum for Psychics ever. That thing, around his neck, is basically a psy-lock, but more powerful, and it gives you the nastiest shock anytime you try to use your powers.

He's not very worried about his position, however. In fact, he's actually quite happy he was thrown in there. Why, you may ask? Because this means he closer to the top agents. The ones who ruined his life in the first place.

Sasha, Milla, Coach, Lili and Raz have to go and try to find a way removed Tony's Brain from his body to be sedated, without having anything bad go wrong, but of course, bad things do, in fact, go wrong.

Because how do you get revenge on the very Agent who broke the one you cared most about?

By breaking one of the people they care about most as well, of course!

well… after being stalked and harassed for the past couple of months, i am finally back!! stay tuned lol i got some fics lined up for y’all 😁

anyway if you read that first line and thought to yourself “WTF?!?”, here is the full story for my curious readers (just a warning, it’s long and i rant a lot):

a couple of months ago, i started getting tagged by random accs on tiktok and insta that posted vids accusing me of the most random and heinous shit. honestly, it just baffled me the first time i saw them bc they made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

when the first ones popped up, i just blocked them thinking it was a random troll and went on with my life.

but then i kept getting spammed by other accs with new posts where they not only involved me but also my friends, and accused us as a friend group of being horrible ppl.

i had enough (i can’t even remember how many accs i blocked) and deleted ALL my social media apps for a while (i.e. more than a couple of months, oops) and basically isolated myself from ppl so that i could focus on other things to distract me (i ended up making daily exercise a habit so ig that’s one good thing that’s come out of this lol, i also rewatched all the marvel movies in timeline order hehe). i wish i continued writing so i could’ve at least had more content to share by now, but i was feeling so negative and pissed that i couldn’t even bring myself to write anything (i even uninstalled notion from my phone and that’s where i keep all my drafts and fic ideas)

i only found out the full situation less than a week ago when i reinstalled tiktok bc i missed it, only to find more burner accs harassing me. i finally had enough so i reinstalled insta to rant about it on my spam acc for my friends to see and to my surprise a couple of them knew who it was and explained the whole situation to me.

it was my first time interacting with ppl outside of my family in months lol, when i tell y’all i isolated myself i really did mean it 🙃 my irl friends didn’t even know anything out of the ordinary was happening bc i’m notorious in my friend group for going off the grid for months at a time bc of how bad my mental health gets sometimes, they know to just let me be and let me deal with it alone bc they understand that’s how i work best. (they won’t see this bc they don’t know this tumblr exists but i wanna apologise to my dear friends for my disappearing acts, my bad, i love y’all for being so understanding and still being my friend after all this time 🫶🏼)

anyway, it turns out the culprit was this guy that my friend had rejected previously and he’s so bitter and hateful that he decided to harass me bc he knew i was one of her bffs (the ppl he targeted were the ones in her closest friend group which included me)

but here’s the kicker: I’VE ONLY TALKED TO THIS GUY TWICE!! AND EACH TIME WE TALKED FOR LESS THAN 5 MINS ABOUT IRRELEVANT SHIT!!! WHY AM I INVOLVED?? YOU DON’T KNOW ME!!!!

when my friend found out she was so surprised and appalled that he was harassing me too, bc him, my friend, and the other ppl he targeted all go to the same college together (and i’m the only one in the friend group that goes to a different college, so to reiterate once again: this guy barely knows me! the last time we spoke was at my friends bday party 3 years ago!! he’s literally insane!)

she knew he was harassing my other friends since they’re all in the same school and know him in person, she didn’t think i would be involved too and i couldn’t believe i was.

anyway, i just wanted to rant about this whole thing bc i’m having a hard time processing it tbh. i hope that guy rots in hell and also finds a job there bc he was acting hella unemployed like who has time for this? he made me feel so confused and paranoid for weeks and i hope he gets all the karma he deserves in the universe.

y’all wanna know something funny tho? i started writing a changmin stalker fic in june, way before this whole situation happened. life imitates art ig 🤪 anyway i finally finished it and i’m gonna release that fic next after i fine tune it, at least now it’ll be somewhat realistic lmaoooo

Little Bean:

I have a little angst idea: Lando returning to racing when Fabia is about six months old and can be left with his mother for the race weeks because they don't want her traveling yet.

Lando feels good returning to racing. Him, Max and Daniel have done a few nights away to practice being separated from her so they don't go insane on race weekends but Lando finds it hard to return, not because of being separated but the media and some of the drivers on the grid

He gets a lot of hate, and pointed questions about having a child before fully mating with the two alphas. A lot of shaming about his parenting choices and the fact he's back racing and as the week goes in he starts to get really quiet and avoiding Max and Daniel because he doesn't want them to see him sad and ask him to maybe just be a stay at home omega (despite them having promised they'd never expect that of him)

Uncle Mindo:

Lando and Michael's first Christmas as parents is both heartbreaking and wholesome.

They realise when getting the their son to write a santa letter for him and their little baby girl that they've never had a Christmas and it breaks Lando and Michael's hearts. So they decide to make it the best they can and take them shopping to pick out a tree and decorations, and it melts their hearts when their little boy asks them if he can have help picking out a gift for them and his little sister.

They all get matching pj's too and they keep the day just to them because they know it'll be overwhelming for their kids

I am torn on an idea for their wedding:

I want them to have have either a winter wedding or a summer wedding with an outdoor wedding. I can't decide the season.....or if I want it to go a little wrong and Lando is upset over it but Lance and their friends and family pull together an amazing little wedding and lando is just in awe and so happy because he's marrying the love of his life
