There are things this show does with Xena and Gabrielle that you don’t even see with heterosexual couplings in TV art/entertainment. Their love for and relationship with each other really is that in depth.

Their connection is one-of-a-kind. Like you don’t see it depicted anywhere in art/entertainment in general.

Maybe some of Shakespeare’s stuff rings true to it but even so like… even classic literature cannot beat it because it’s just so well bloody written and portrayed.

So you don’t get the physical intimacy. So what?

You get everything else 100x the power you’d get in anything you watch today between romantic pairings.

Jacks made a point that all curses had backdoors. Just because it seems absolute, it doesn't mean that it can't be beaten. Evangeline defied fate and Aurora's curse by wholeheartedly choosing Jacks. She loved him so much that it broke his curse.

That's what I think happened when they kissed.

When Jacks held his heart, it was beating so much and glowing bright. It was like he was born again after their kiss. He felt it. After all, Evangeline and Jacks were destined from the beginning. 💕💕💕🍎🦊
