Adrien met Chloe before but didn’t like her as much bc of Marinette’s influence (he also got to hear first hand how she was bullying her)

They play a massive prank on their whole class when Adrien comes in the first day because of all people that know each other it’s them. people are shocked, Chloe is mad, Nino is like “bro i thought i was your childhood bestie” so Marinette is like “you are but trust me there is no need to be jealous, just spend like 5 minutes with him you’ll fall in love with him” and she was right

we get lots of post-reveal pre-relationship silly dynamics 

Alya and Nino eventually clock on the two of them like each other, but it looks like they’re both oblivious to it / don’t want to admit it

eventually, Alya and Nino confront Marinette and Adrien separately about confessing their feelings, but they both give back an eerily similar answer of “it’s too complicated to be together” that makes them think there is more to their relationship then they originally thought (Alya thinks they are LB and CN and Nino thinks they are already dating) (they are both kinda right).

Alya and Nino slowly put the pieces together, they’re making jokes assuming they are both dating and superheroes that they kind of just forgot that these are head cannons of their friends so when they eventually find out they’re like “yeah lmao”

*stretches fingers* where to begin, where to begin. WELL, one of the things that stands out to me about your writing is that it’s the embodiment of the “is for me? 😳👉👈“ meme in which me is….. me jkldjakljgklsdg. Like, this is why we can just plot an entire novel-length fic together off the top of our heads on VC, just give us like five minutes, because we share perfect taste in ships and tropes. The beautiful thing about this is that I always know I’m GOOD going into your fics. Like, you know what I want without having to ask. And so your fics are always a safe, familiar place for me to go and yours is some of the work that helps me calm down and sleep if I’m having a bad night and just need to read something that’s like a virtual hug.

Another thing that shines about your work is you do such an amazing job of ensuring equal parts love and attention to all the OT4/Core Four. I think it’s really sweet how you take the time to write stories where each one of them gets the spotlight for a while and has their trauma addressed, like with Lost in Lace and Baby Dragon, for example. You offer representation for everyone who relates to these characters and you very tenderly craft that representation and treat the characters with the respect they didn’t get from canon. With your multi-chaps, you do a wonderful job of honouring all the dynamics and never letting the BROTPs feel less important. The bonds are SO strong whether romantic or not.

Stemming from the above actually, I feel like the way you write the Core Four reflects a lot about you as a person (all good things!) and I see that in HD since we’ve become friends. You treat your characters with the same respect and attentiveness that I feel you treat people, not just me but others I see you interact with. Your people skills translate into your writing, if that makes sense. Like what I say above about how you take the time to ensure everyone gets the spotlight for a while, especially when they need it most, and I think that’s just something you do as a friend, too, and it’s a really great thing about you! You have a very big heart and your sensitivity makes you extremely empathetic, which allows you to get deep into these characters’ heads and write beautiful, believable relationships that are full of feeling.

Your passion and drive to overcome all the hurdles of life and keep creating is very inspirational, my dear. Truly, truly, I cannot say it enough that passion ALWAYS shines through and IMO it’s one of the most important things a writer can have ‘cause it’s the fuel for everything else, but also it’s just something that can be *felt* and I always feel your passion in your work and in everything you do. There is so much of the essence of Spidey in your work and that’s a very good thing! There is an inherent value in that, as in you. It is certainly a gift to this fandom.

Anyway anyway I honestly just think you are a natural born storyteller and that’s just something you have to accept. I’m very fortunate to be privy to all the fun ideas you help bring to life over VC. I would gladly listen to you narrate Rotten OT4 fanfic to me. I cannot fully explain how happy it makes me that you think of my fics as a safe space. Like YOUR fics do that for me, they’re like a breath of fresh air that uplift my every mood. whether they’re soft and silly or more indepth and angsty, like you got me and it’s like my own personal library of comfort fics for every occassion and mood. Honestly yeah, we have such good taste in ships and our VCs are one of my absolute favourite things, they always stem the best and most glorious ideas.

Thank you so much, for me - I love all of the different dynamics within the rotten four so much and it’s super important to me to get the balance right and show equal amounts of love to all of the dynamics, even when a specific dynamic is more of a central focus. im glad im not the only one who found the truck ad thingy strange.. i mean do people seriously think yg has or will ever give a shit? bc I don't. of course, some staff members might care about bb as people but the company won't? and why do I feel like ot5s are always demanding stuff they don't even know the members want/need? its a nice sentiment i guess but i always get the feeling they don't trust the members somehow? oh well. yb said what he said, i'll take his word for it. it'll be alright.

The project wasn’t what I was expecting -- and by that I mean it wasn’t as BAD as I was expecting -- so I’m not too bothered by it. But it was still embarrassing and IMO reflected poorly on IVIPs as a whole. Because in some ways it was a bit tone-deaf. BB aren’t having activities right now primarily because of COVID, sure, but there is of course another reason why they’ve been keeping things on the down low since last year and giving their image time to slowly recover. You know who. He is so hated by Korea at the moment that the Korea Subway Transportation Corporation refused an ad for BIGBANG bearing his name and face not because he isn’t a member of the group anymore but because he’s considered “immoral”. So, what do OT5 IVIPs do? Go and put him in a paid ad for BIGBANG demanding protection against hate. Aimed at YG, no less, who he no longer has a contract with 🤦 “Foreign roaches should read the room,” one knetizen commented. Yeah, some of us can. OT5s can’t. I swear these people wake up every day with the goal of finding new ways to get the guys dragged.

In another recent fan project (Fanplus) a fanmade OT4 poster was selected to celebrate BB’s upcoming 14th anniversary in Korean subway stations. OT5s raged online and bombarded the company with hate to the point where Fanplus issued a statement politely requesting that fans stop sending them profanity. This made the news in Korea, by the way. These fans ran amok on Twitter, plotting to sabotage the project (yes that’s the word they used), promising to vandalize the displays, and threatening to tear them down. Y’all. Who needs antis when you’ve got fans like that? Ironically, these OT5s don’t seem to realize they’ve become the very thing they’re asking YG to protect BB from.

And no, they don’t trust the members in the slightest. If they did they would stop screaming at them about Seungri daily and trying to strong-arm them into giving them what they want. They would stop baiting them into making statements about him... then manipulating, misinterpreting, and mistranslating their words when what they get isn’t quite what they were hoping for. They would see the foolishness of slapping his face on promotional posters and would think twice about demeaning the members by placing him front and center. If they truly trusted BB they would stop shoving him on them, where he no longer belongs, and on us, where he’s no longer wanted. They would quit forcing the issue, give up their demands, and simply let it be. Accept what’s happened and what is -- quietly.

If they trusted the members they would also let go of this pretense of concern they’ve been flaunting lately. “We care more about the members’ mental health than a comeback,” they boast, in a seemingly well-meaning but actually backwards attempt to disguise the fact that they’re reluctant (and for some, downright unwilling) to support new material from a four-member BIGBANG. It’s only a nice sentiment until you understand where it’s coming from, this faux caring. They are hoping the guys will lie low a little longer, quietly and uneventfully, their creative energies suppressed until their disgraced ex-member returns from the military and ~rejoins~ them. They’re pushing a tragic narrative that says the members are too depressed and broken to make music without him. Believing they don’t want to come back as four and patting themselves on the back for telling the guys to take it easy until they can be five again. Yeah, that sounds an awful lot like wishful thinking to me, from a group of fans who still, after a year and a half, haven’t come to terms with our new reality. We all know whose mental health they’re really protecting by balking at the idea of new music -- and it ain’t BIGBANG’s.

What’s especially funny about this is -- well, you know those teasers from TOP over the last few days? The clips from the studio with the caption “working,” him spitting lines with a vengeance, dancing in his PJs and looking for all the world like someone who’s ready to take on the stage, and even dropping a “Big Bang,” getting us all stirred up with excitement? He posted those just as these “we’re not asking for a comeback because we care” arguments were making rounds on Twitter. The timing could not have been better. Thanks, TOP, for serving a reminder to those who’ve forgotten (or have never known) that the most healing thing a creative person can do is keep creating 😘

In short, the truck project was messy, reckless, and unnecessary. And Youngbae’s “Cheer up, guys” that followed, with a fun message about shaking off hate, is all the encouragement I needed, personally, to keep believing good things are on the horizon for BIGBANG. I trust they know what they're doing. All there is for us to do is be there for them when the time comes. Until then, we wait.

for my top three moments, i would say:

1. the first time i met the house as their new professor - it was so fun and cute, with annette apologizing because she thought i was a student, then all the talk about formality which ending up with training plans because felix can’t ever not think about fighting. that was the moment i adopted them all on the spot

2. after rodrigue’s death, finding dimitri out in the rain and giving him your hand. i can relate to some of dimitri’s struggles with mental illness and having someone reach out to you like that??? that moment was really beautiful and it made me cry

3. retaking fhirdiad. everyone is so happy that they’re back in their homeland, they’re taken it back and saved their people. i was joining dimitri in his happy tears (also killing cornelia, bitch deserved it)

for ships:

1. anncedes! as you can probably tell from my url, i just love them. annette and mercedes are two of my favorite characters and i’m such a sucker for best friends to lovers ships.i can’t see it getting romantic until after the war, because of the age difference and the fact that they don’t seem like the type to realize their feelings until times of peace. the age difference actually doesn’t bother me though, because there’s no power imbalance there - it’s just two gals being pals, loving each other more than anything in the world

2. ot4- dimitri/felix/sylvain/ingrid. you know what’s even cooler than best friends to lovers? CHILDHOOD best friends to lovers. i really ship all four of them with each of the other three, i could probably make an entire post about each dynamic and why i like it. the only reason this one is lower than anncedes is because of all the angst making me sad ;-; intsys let them have their happy cuddle pile please

This is no particular order and based on Being Gross AU AU bakt endgame (I hope that made sense?)

Bokuto is an art history nerd. He can go on and on talking about it but he goes super quiet and focused when he’s reading or doing some research. Kuroo took an Art History class with him, and he’s used to Bokuto being super high energy about things that he likes so that gave him a chance to see his more focused and serious side.

Tsukki gets super jealous when it comes to Akaashi. I think it’s because he doesn’t see him as often as the other two. It’s mostly around the time Tsukki figures out he has a crush on his boyfriend’s boyfriend, but there’s this dude hanging around Akaashi a lot and Tsukki is… feeling things. He doesn’t say anything because that’s none of his business but he’s grumpier than usual. Eventually Bokuto finds out and goes are u jealous ??????? excuse, u like my boyfriend??????

To which Tsukki responds, Yesterday you told me u wanted to suck Kuroo’s soul out through his dick so pot meet kettle but also OH SHIT—He has a meltdown, it’s pretty funny. Telling Kuroo is not as funny.

Bokuto cuddles. A lot. He and Tsukki are cuddle match made in heaven. A lot of the times Kuroo will get home and they’re casually cuddling on the couch which is adorable as fuck but hella awkward when it turns into ‘My boyfriend is dating my best friend who is also my roommate and they are cuddling in front of me and I don’t know if I want to leave, fawn over how cute they are or join them if I’m allowed, which I might not be.’ It’s rough at first.

Tsukki doesn’t tell Kuroo about Bokuto’s feelings for him, and neither does Bokuto. Tsukki thinks those two need to figure it out on their own (with the tiniest bit of prodding, because he can’t help it. He should be able to cuddle his two boyfriends at the same time). BokuTsukki start dating first without Kuroo knowing Bokuto also wants him. He thinks Bokuto doesn’t also want him, and Bokuto thinks Kuroo doesn’t want him either and it’s a big old misunderstanding/mutual pining mess until they straighten things out.

Bokuroo will naturally gravitate towards Tsukki and initiate affection most of the time but when it comes to Akaashi Tsukki gets clingy and tries to glue himself to Akaashi’s side as inconspicuously as possible. After they’ve been together officially for a while the whole inconspicuous thing goes away.

Kuroo does something similar but it’s more like he’s shy about Akaashi’s attention, especially because those two are the last ones to come together. Kuroo likes to make him laugh and butt heads with him, but seeking comfort and being vulnerable in front of him is hard. They end up bonding over the other two. Kuroo still gets stupid when it comes to Tsukki and is stupid with Bokuto. Akaashi just nods like ‘yes, I agree.’

Kuroo gets sick and Akaashi goes to take care of him. He recovers quickly with Akaashi’s help so he says, “Now you can go tell those two that I’m better so that they can stop pestering you to take care of me.”  It’s not at all what he should have said, because Akaashi goes still and gives him a look before, “What, I can’t be worried about you?” That’s the tip of the AkaKuroo slippery slope. 

When Akaashi starts to see the four of them coming together he’s practical about the whole thing and drops a, “We should just all date each other. The bed’s big enough.” The bed isn’t big enough.

Everyone knows Tsukki is evil. They’ve all had Evil Tsukki moments and enjoyed them profusely. Everyone wants an encore.

The more I write this the more I want to write the au au, but alas, I don’t have time right now. Maybe someday.

Sorry for bothering you. I have some questions. I'm new in this fandom. At fist I supported Seungri but now I doubt him. Some vips say that he is victim of media, he run only Aori ramen and Kmedia is lying. I see posts claiming that OT4 won't go on without him. There are so much conflicting information. What exactly did he do? If OT4 had problems with Seungri why were they so nice to him during Last dance tour? Again sorry for bothering I just want to know the whole story.

I’m sorry, I’ve gone over this at length so many times over the last six plus months… do I have the energy to hash it out again in detail? It’s true that there is still confusion over his case, let’s face it, there always will be. It’s also true that there has been misinformation spread on both sides, both for and against him. Accusations that came and went, some that stuck, some that didn’t. All you need to know is that right now, based on the results of the police investigation he underwent this spring, he is currently facing 7 charges (from this article):

Solicitation of prostitution (for himself)

Prostitution mediation (for his foreign investors)

Occupational embezzlement of Burning Sun funds

Occupational embezzlement of attorney’s fees

Instigating destruction of evidence

Violation of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment, etc. of Sexual Crimes (sharing a photo believed to be molka)

Violation of the Food Sanitation Act (this is related to Monkey Museum)

He is also currently under investigation for suspicions of gambling while abroad (which, though few fans seem to have a problem with it, is illegal for Koreans) and violating the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act (raising gambling funds through “hwanchigi,” a term that refers to illegal practices surrounding foreign exchange transactions). So if you see people saying he’s facing up to 9 charges, that’s where that number comes from. The first 7 charges are currently in the hands of the prosecution. Police have recommended indictment on all 7, however, it’s up to the prosecution to conduct their own supplementary investigation and decide whether or not to formally press charges against him (i.e., indict him), after which, if indicted, his case will go to court. This is just a thought, but they may be waiting for police to finish up their investigation on the gambling suspicions so that they can make a decision on all charges at once. In the meantime, it seems his enlistment has been postponed indefinitely.

For the record, most VIPs defended Seungri against the Burning Sun allegations (not gonna get into that here, but it’s pretty horrific stuff). The Burning Sun situation is still murky, and probably always will be, but it’s worth noting that Seungri was never booked or earnestly investigated on anything related to the club besides embezzlement of club funds. Then, in late February the prostitution chats were released – chats which appear to show him and his business partners arranging for prostitutes for their foreign investors visiting Korea back in late 2015 – and he was officially booked as a suspect for that. Then, as if things weren’t bad enough for him already, there came the molka/spycam chats, in which women were filmed in sex acts without their permission and their photos and videos secretly shared among friends. We later learned that some of these women had been drugged and raped. Besides that, the text content of the chats themselves and they way these men spoke about the women they’d slept with was just vile.

Based on the very limited evidence we have available to us, Seungri’s involvement in those molka chats was admittedly minimal (at least when compared to the other chat members, many of whom are currently standing trial on rape charges). However, some of these men were close friends of his, and for many people, his knowledge of their despicable acts toward these women and his complacency (in neglecting to report, or at the very least condemn them for it) was enough. We know he viewed at least one molka video and seemed unbothered by it, even laughing at it. That was the point at which many (I would argue most) people dropped his ass like a hot potato, horrified that he’d had any part in it at all.

Everyone has to draw the line somewhere. For many, that was the line. As for me? I remember the first time I saw that headline, and how my heart sank. I was still on his side back then, perhaps not yet realizing just how serious the situation had become, but even so, I knew in my heart that it was the end for him. And sure enough, it was later that same day when he announced his retirement from the entertainment industry.

His supporters will swear up and down that he had nothing to do with it, but from his own mouth, in his Chosun Ilbo interview, he knew. And not only that, he apparently helped them dispose of evidence when the news broke by alerting them that they were in trouble and instructing them to change their phones (hence the “instigating destruction of evidence” charge). And this is to say nothing of the ridiculous explanation he came up with for the prostitution chats: that he was just providing girls for his female friend to party and go shopping with, an explanation that was shot down by that very friend who he tried to use as an alibi. So when you said “now I doubt him”? Yeah. Us too.

There’s so much more to this saga. So much more. And it’s ongoing. But I’m so tired of going over it again and again and again. The fact is, Seungri asked to have his contract with YG terminated and announced his withdrawal from the industry. So whether you like him or not, continuing to pledge your support to him is just a massive waste of time. Seungri has been a retired singer for six months now, and the cold hard reality is that since March 2019 Big Bang has been four members. G-Dragon, TOP, Taeyang, Daesung. They are still with us. They are who will stand on the stage before us again. They are who will bring us new music and feature in new videos. They are our future as a fandom. If we want more of Big Bang, if we want to see the band continue on at all, we have to express a willingness to support them as they are, now and for the foreseeable future. Otherwise, it’s like Youngbae said during Last Dance: it will be goodbye for real. And who wants that?

Seungri has been locked in an intense media and legal battle for almost all of 2019 – nearly nine months now. And I don’t see things getting better for him anytime soon. This could easily drag on for another three months, until the end of this year. It could go on for six. It could even stretch on for twelve, if he’s indicted on all charges and his case goes to trial. When you factor in enlistment, the absolute soonest Seungri can even think about being active again as an entertainer is in 2-3 years’ time. It has already been almost 3 years since BB’s last comeback. Does anyone really think they’re going to make themselves and us endure another 2-3 year wait (at best!) for a retired member to return to them before they'll release new music again as a group? When they wanted him to enlist alongside them, but he chose not to? And then became the center of the biggest controversy in kpop history? After they begged him not to get in trouble while they were away?

I don’t want you guys to think I’m spreading the message that BB ever hated Seungri. It’s more complex than that. I think they cared for him, but I think they were also frustrated with him. I think they wanted what was best for him and were concerned for him. I think they wanted to put their trust in him, knowing that he alone would be carrying the name Big Bang in their absence, but given how distant he’d become and the questionable connections he’d made, couldn’t help being wary of him.

And more than anything? I think they felt they’d lost him. For several years now. And it’s so damn sad.

Somehow, somewhere along the way, to someone (those friends of his) or to something (money and fame, greed and pride, power and envy, you name it), he slipped through their fingers. It wasn’t always this way between them, I’m sure of it. But sometimes people change, often as a result of their changing circumstances. Seungri, unhappy with his present situation (circa 2015, maybe even earlier), found a new passion and a new social circle (a problematic one)… and the closer he grew to them, the farther he drifted from BB. They said they only ever saw him onstage. Said they made plans together but he’d often cancel at the last minute. Said he was always overseas with his other friends and business associates. Said he was “totally a businessman” and that he “didn’t want to work [as a singer] anymore.” They said it seemed that Big Bang had become “business” to him and that all he ever talked about with them was money. I think they felt that though he stayed with them, he did so for all the wrong reasons, reasons that no longer included a passion for music. He didn’t even invite them to his last birthday party before they all enlisted, his big island resort birthday bash in the Philippines (and we’ve all seen that Last Dance tour behind-the-scenes clip in which GD scolded him harshly for it. In hindsight, they dodged a bullet by not being there, seeing as that party was under scrutiny this year for suspicions of prostitution mediation).

Sorry. At this point I’m just rambling. You say you want to know the whole story? Yeah, well, so do the rest of us. But for now, the best we can hope for is that it’s not over for Big Bang. So please, let’s give all our love to the four who remain.
