what’s your gym routine? just got a membership but lowkey doubting myself bc i just got a new pair of jeans that didn’t fit :/ any tips on how to be healthier? -🍯

yasss i love this question ty girly. okay so tbh i kinda just made up my own routine but the important thing is making sure u do all muscle groups !! some things i’m more focused on than others (like i do a lot more ab, glute, and chest exercises than like tricep exercises per se) but it’s rlly up to u and how u wanna look !! i also find it helps if u split it up by days.

this is my current split, so i focus on these muscle groups on these days! i also walk for thirty minutes at the end of my workout

i just looked up exercises for specific muscle groups on pinterest and tt and made up my own routine each day 😭😭 u also gotta find what works best for u, not everyone follows the same routine based on the results they want!!

it’s also important to eat well while ur exercising too 😭😭😭 ik it’s hard but like it’s such a waste to go to the gym while ur still eating poorly. me n my mom do weight watchers, u have to pay for it but it’s helped me learn to portion my food n shit like that soooo well. but honestly if u don’t wanna do all that just watch what ur eating! focus on foods that r sustainable and will fill u up for long period of time and drink water !!!

ik it sounds soo corny but u actually feel sm better when u exercise and eat well. like i started doing all this stuff in march/april and by like june i had lost like 20 lbs. but its also important to remember to take care of urself in the process too! make sure you take breaks when you need, don’t over work yourself, and remember its good to treat urself! it takes time but honestly to me its worth it bc the time will pass no matter what.

sorry this is like all over the place i hope this helps 😭😭 i struggled a lot w exercise and eating healthier but like this year i actually did it so i just wanna help others as much as i can bc i totally get how it feels to not be confident in urself and ur body. but always remember to focus on urself and not what others are doing !! comparison is a thief of joy and u will never get to where u want to be if ur too focused on others
