Rewatching Risk and thinking about how genuinely freaked out Félix gets when he sees Emilie in the basement. That’s not just his aunt but someone who looks exactly like his mom. He bolts the second he sees her and it honestly looks like he’s going to make a run for it out of the house before Nathalie and Gabriel find him. You can see him floundering a bit to act like Adrien again before he regains his composure. I just. AAA. I love this episode. It’s the definition of ‘Fucked around and found out’. Félix was prepared for a lot but NOT finding the basement.

why is it that every time the subject of ptsd in ancient greece or rome comes up someone ALWAYS starts talking about how much they love achilles in vietnam. like i know why but also why is the default paradigm for trauma the invading soldier in a field where we are constantly talking about invasion and rape. why do we talk about achilles in vietnam but not briseis in vietnam. or hecuba and polyxena in vietnam. or aeneas in vietnam. why do we talk about how hard it was for achilles to kill all those people but not about how hard it was for the trojans to lose their entire city and countless people they love. can anyone hear me it's so dark in here.
