Idk if this is a controversial opinion but I kinda like that Jess is introduced as this super cool, motorcycle riding Spider woman who's doing all the Spider stuff along with being pregnant
Before you get more disillusioned with her throughout the film as she constantly enforces Miguel's rules onto the kids while pressuring Gwen before abandoning her altogether (tho ofc she doesn't feel good about it)
You think she's going to end up as Gwen's new mother figure of sorts ("Can you adopt me?"), she did vouch for her inclusion out of sympathy after all, but in the end she fails to do anything other than constantly warn Gwen about the consequences of disobeying orders before throwing her back in her original universe with no support
She ended up more as a boss than family, which is what Gwen hoped to find in this group after losing the last of hers
It was a cool subversion to see

Ahhhh yeah Rhysand and Feyre do it hot and dirty on Calanmai and then a couple months later Feyre has to confess to tamlin and Lucien about the dark stranger with violet eyes who is now her baby daddy and they’re just like wait WUT?! THAT GUY?!?
This plot has the potential for optimal telenovela levels of drama and I am so here for it 😂
Hear me out: they have filthy sex on Calanmai and Feyre keeps la da deeing her human way through the Spring Court business per usual until Rhys comes back after the Summer Solstice and smells it on her

https://www.instagram.com/p/C60I-DmO1IT/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== here's a little lady who's gonna have pups soon =]
(images from the linked post)
I had no idea Ginger Rogers was pregnant!! With TWINS no less!!! She's so fucking round... I bet it'll be nice to have em out. Also check out those little pup skeletons in the X-ray!!!! So cool!! Their skulls are so TINY....
Bats tend to only have one pup, but Eastern Reds can have up to FIVE (although that is fairly uncommon) so twins aren't super unprecedented for her! They also have four nipples which is cool, I didn't know that until I looked up their litter sizes. These two will be able to suckle to their heart's content without bother :)
Here's hoping for everything to go well for her, I'm looking forwards to seeing the babies :3 Thank you for this VERY important Chopper update, anon!!! I haven't restocked the queue recently so I've been woefully behind on the PA bat rescue news...

Realized I forgot to introduce Eileen again LMAO
My sea shanty interest was reignited and I was like “:O Boston is a coastal town I can make a sailor oc!!” And promptly remembered Far Harbour exists and so now she is there :)
She left the mainland after nearly destroying the entire commonwealth for her kiddo Eliza. Blew up the Prydwen, Railroad, nearly collapsed the Minutemen, and eventually destroyed the Institute when they created a synth version of her husband and she realized just how much they were manipulating her. She left Eliza with Nick and fucked off North, a good fifty miles past the Nakano residence, where she fixes up an old boat and fishes the days away in solitude. Nick eventually finds her a year or two later and needs her boat to head to far harbour to find Kasumi Nakano, and they get stranded there together cuz a sea monster basically ate her boat :)
Anyway she’s also from Newfoundland and Labrador, got military training from soldiers she helped guide through the Northwest Passage, and commonly goes by “The Lobstermonger” in Far Harbour due to her hiding her identity out of shame for all she’s done. I <3 her I’m sorry

3.118 One last time
Sophia decided to go through the IVF process alone. While I would never understand why she wouldn't want me there, I respected her decision and waited nervously at home for her return. I was beside myself and paced around the house for hours. I really wanted to go for a nice long jog, but I also didn't want to miss her coming home as we had no idea how long it would take. So, there I was, trapped in our beautiful new home, hoping Sophia was comfortable and safe, but also thinking about our baby. We weren't the only ones thinking about it. Mama had been shopping for it ever since we moved in. I was certain we'd still have a baby shower so we could share our joy with the rest of our family and friends, but with all the stuff she already bought, did we really need one?
Finally, what felt like an eternity later, Sophia walked through the door, and I sprang toward her and squeezed tight.
"Hey!! How did it go? Are you alright? Did it hurt?"
"I'm fine. Not sure I'd want to do that again, but I'm okay."
We sat on the couch, and I was so relieved to have her back in one piece.
"So...how do you feel?" I asked.
"Veeery anxious."
"Yeah... Me too... So...how long do we have to wait for it to work?"
"They didn't say. I almost want to take a test right now."
"It would be dope to find out tomorrow, right? Best birthday present ever."
She went all doe-eyed on me.
"Awww! That would be a nice gift. But...what if it's too early? I don't want yet another negative test hanging over me on my day."
"I get it. So, when will you do it?"
"Right now!"
"Now?"
"Why not? Let's get it out of the way in case it didn't take yet and I can be over it by tomorrow."
"Are you sure?"
She got up and headed toward the bathroom.
"No, but it's never stopped me before."
So, there I was again, alone, nervous, and restless, but also hopeful. Her doctor presented three different options for artificial insemination, and IVF had the highest chance of success. It had to work. With Sophia's good health and strength, there was no reason to doubt it.
"HOLY FRUITCAKE," Sophia shouted from the bathroom.
I dashed in there as fast as I could, panicked and anxious.
"Sophia?? What's wrong? Are you alright??"
She sat there with her mouth gaped, staring at the test for a moment.
"It worked! It freakin' worked!!"
"It did???? Are you serious?? I'm-You're-A baby?! HA! Oh, WOW! I'm gonna be a dad!"
Sophia crashed into me, forcing us out into the foyer.
"We're having a baby!!"
When she finally released me, I bent over and placed my hands gently on her womb and gazed at our little miracle.
"There's really a baby in there?!"
Sophia laughed and cried tears of joy.
"Yes, it's real. Finally!"
I got on my knees and hugged her belly, relieved that we had finally done it.
"This is so magical! Can you hear me in there? I'm your dad! And I love you and your mom so much!"
