*ੈ✩‧₊ Thinking about how similar Red Hood is to Little Red Riding Hood, not just in name but also in practice. At their core, they are both things, red things, that survive. Reborn from the lugubre maws of death, forced to live another day, carrying baskets weaved of anguish and instability.
*ੈ✩‧₊ Jason keeps the old picture book tucked in his jacket pocket. He can't quite remember where he found the fickle thing. Can't remember why he chose such an evanescent tale to cling to.
*ੈ✩‧₊ Or maybe he does, maybe he knows exactly why he runs his fingers over his inside pocket after every fight, just to make sure the eccentric fable is still in place. Maybe it's because he understands Red Riding Hood. Knows what she's been through, what it feels like to have your innocence stripped like skin being torn from bones. To be killed and revived all in the same breath. Maybe it's because he wants to know what happens next. What happens when Little Red learns to breathe again? He wants to ask her, beg her to tell him. To be the solution to all his problems.
*ੈ✩‧₊ "How do you swallow the trauma? What do you do with the phantom pain of your heart's reanimation? How do you make the darkness go away? Did you come back the same?
*ੈ✩‧₊ There is only one thing that makes them differ. One fundamental little thing...
*ੈ✩‧₊ Jason doesn't mind the wolf. Pretty pup prowling about. He blames it on his upbringing. He'd been taught to fall in love with such wicked things. From as early as he can remember he's watched bats chase cats across gargoyle-littered rooftops. Watched pretty girls throw themselves at bleached killers. That's why he's quick to be enarmed with the new villain terrorizing the Gotham streets. The girl in a wolf mask, planting bombs in jewelry stores and biting off her victim's ears.
*ੈ✩‧₊ There is nothing scary about the big bad wolf, Red Hood thinks, as he re-reads the page where the wolf and girl meet. Why fear pain when you've been to the end of the road? Why fear something when you're acquainted with its ending?
*ੈ✩‧₊ "Shouldn't wolves only come out when there's a full moon?" He swings in from the skyline, ironclad military boots lodging into your stomach pushing you back into a glass display case. "That's werewolves you idiot" you mumble out of breath, glass shards pocking at your spine. The ticking of your newest explosive rings melodically through the air. He's quick to cut the wires, to defuse your toy without a second thought. Professional you think bitterly as you pounce on his back looking for an opening of flesh to sink your teeth into.
*ੈ✩‧₊ The thing they don't tell you about dying is that you always come back wrong. Primordially, spiritually, the person who closes their eyes, is never the same one who opens them again.
But Red Riding Hood was lucky, her story ended before she realized that dreadful thing. Jason has to deal with it every day, the reverberating scars, the colorless world that fractures and breaks should he let his mind wander astray. The fact that his heart only ever truly beats when he sees the fluffy ears of your cowl and that damn bloodthirsty smirk.
*ੈ✩‧₊ Yandere!Jason Todd who's only brave enough to call it love after you stake a knife through his heart. The bulletproof vest and armor keep the damage away, but he can see the murderous intent shimmering in your eyes. It's only then that he pulls you down by the back of your neck. Lips to lips, a messy clash of anathema and apprehension. Your teeth gnaw at his lips while his tongue composes ballads on the roof of your mouth.
*ੈ✩‧₊ He wonders if Little Red ever went back for the wolf. If she ever dares kiss him with all the pain and anguish she has left in her body. Nicking her tongue on his razor-sharp teeth. Guiding his claws to ghost over her frail body. He wonders if the wolf can even hurt her. There's so little left that can hurt you when you've already felt the end.
*ੈ✩‧₊ He knows you stalk him, follow him even during the day. Sometimes he pulls you into the back alleyway. Knife at your throat as he soaks up your ethereal face. Mask on, mask off. In the end, you'd have found out anyway. His hands squeeze at your hips, needing the flesh, leaving his essence over your body. His lips danced over the back of your neck, biting tenderly at the apex of your shoulder.
*ੈ✩‧₊ You seem to like it when his knife cuts deep. When his punches crack bone. When his boots crush you into the pavement. You throw your head back and laugh, witty little threats spilling from your mouth. So this is love he thinks as your claws rake over his biceps ripping the muscle like ribbons, rummaging through the blood and tissue in search of bone. "Poor little puppy" he mocks "looking for a bone to chew on". "Shut up you tomato-looking freak" you scream as his teeth sink into your jaw, crunching of bone.
*ੈ✩‧₊ He thinks you look gorgeous when you're irritated, he thinks you're beautiful when your bloodthirst seeps through the anger. He bites back a moan as your knee nests into his gut.
*ੈ✩‧₊ Did Little Red ever talk to her mother again? Or did she hold a grudge, haunted by her betrayal of sending her into the woods unarmed, heartbroken that she never came looking for her? Jason's thoughts pound inside his head, picture-book illustrations flash before him of Little Red pushing her mother away, of tears streaming down her face, screaming, screaming, screaming. He hisses as his lacerations burn. Hand suspended, pushing down the urge to knock on his father's door. Bruce would know what to do...he always knows what to do. It's such a childish notion, he clings to. Even now, even after he was killed and left un-avenged Jason still wholeheartedly believes in the notion that Daddy will fix everything...He's halfway to the entrance gate when Bruce alls after him, cadence thick with grief and ache. Jason doesn't turn back, he runs and runs and runs.
*ੈ✩‧₊ Yandere!Jason who crashes through your apartment window. Pushes you back onto the bed and lies next to you as you squirm and scream. He wraps his arms protectively around your waist and nuzzles into the crux of your neck. Mumbling Little Red Riding Hood's tale until you fall asleep. "How did You know I love the story?" you ask, the next morning to the empty half of your bed. Last night's tremulous dread still laying heavy on your corpse.
*ੈ✩‧₊ Yandere!Jason who lays on his window seal, watching as the sun pokes through Granny Red's face. It's funny isn't it, in such a twisted way didn't he also die in his grandfather's house? Only to be reborn while he watched? Didn't the same thing happen to Little Red?
*ੈ✩‧₊ That night Jason dream he's was walking through the grass, headed for the forest behind Wayne manner. He's trapped inside his jejune body, the body of a boy wonder. Clutching a basket with a crowbar inside as dread dances in his stomach. His old red cape taut around his neck, suffocating, skin-tight. He's forgotten how to breathe, puerile fear of those ghoulish old trees clawing at his body. Through the dimness, through lose rays that escape the moon's greed he's able to spot you. Weaving through the bushes and trees, stalking closer and closer. He doesn't know whether to meet you halfway or retreat. Frozen like a robin being pounced on by a sickly smiling cat. His eyes meet yours, right before you attack.
*ੈ✩‧₊ Yandere!Jason who misses you, when he doesn't catch you on patrol, of course, he misses you, it's hard not to miss a broken bone. Hard to feel the sting of your wounds and forget who put them there.
*ੈ✩‧₊ Yandere!Jason finally realizes that he just can't bear to be away from you. This love, this mania, it's all for you. He needs you. He's got you corned, the end of a chase. You smile, all teeth and games, "You're pretty when sulk" you whisper, tracing claws up his chest, digging into the space between each ridge. "Oh really? How can you tell when I got this helmet on?" You laugh, coy and flirtish "I just do" you shrug. Pulling his helmet up, lips ghosting over his in a mockery of a kiss. Jason pushes forward, entraping your lips against his. Lost in intimacy he's quick to grab you, to drag you back to his apartment, to lock the doors and throw away the key. To keep the big bad wolf where she belongs, right next to Little Red Riding Hood.

(Part 1) Film & TV Recommendations for Halloween
1. Over the Garden Wall (Miniseries, 2014)
Tumblr media
Over the Garden Wall features two half-brothers, Wirt and Gregory, who have become lost in a mysterious wood called The Unknown and attempt to find their way back home.
...
This beautifully crafted animated miniseries is the best thing to come out of Cartoon Network even after ten years. The unique atmosphere, which blends fairytale charm with Gothic eeriness, perfectly compliments the early 20th-century Americana-styled animation. At just ten episodes, Over the Garden Wall is a short but impactful experience that lingers with you long after it ends. I highly recommend this series.
2. Coraline (Film, 2009)
Tumblr media
Wandering her rambling old house in her boring new town, an 11-year-old Coraline discovers a hidden door to a strangely idealized version of her life.
...
This stop-motion animated film is a deeply unsettling and visually stunning experience. Blending a dark fairytale narrative with otherworldly imagery, it presents itself as a psychological horror for young and older audiences alike. Coraline explores the complex ideas about family, identity, and the dangers of wish fulfillment with grace. I strongly recommend this film.
3. ParaNorman (Film, 2012)
Tumblr media
Norman Babcock, a young boy who can communicate with ghosts, is given the task of ending a 300-year-old witch's curse on his Massachusetts town.
...
This heartfelt stop-motion animated film blends humor, horror, and themes of ostracization and acceptance. While blending classic horror movie tropes with a coming-of-age story, it manages to portray strong themes of prejudice by using zombies, witches, and ghoulish imagery. If you're looking for a unique spin on classic B-movie horror, I highly recommend this film.
4. Happy Death Day (Film, 2017)
Tumblr media
A college student must relive the day of her murder over and over again in a loop that will end only when she discovers her killer's identity.
...
Happy Death Day is an entertaining mashup of slasher horror and Groundhog Day-style time loop storytelling. This film stands out from all the rest of the horror-comedy franchise due to its emotion, mystery, and character growth. While it doesn't push boundaries for horror, it makes up for its uniqueness that balances humor and suspense. If you're looking for a horror-comedy film, I strongly recommend this one.
5. Jennifer's Body (Film, 2009)
Tumblr media
A newly-possessed high-school cheerleader turns into a succubus who kills her male classmates and devours their flesh in order to survive.
...
Though it was sorely misunderstood when it originally came out, it has recently garnered rightful attention for its subversive take on the horror-comedy genre. This film blends teen drama and supernatural horror and uses its genre to touch upon the objectification of women in horror and in reality. Its wit, self-awareness, and social commentary have made it a standout in the horror-comedy genre, and for that, I strongly recommend this film.
6. Sinister: Recut (Film, 2012)
Tumblr media
Ellison Oswalt is a struggling true-crime writer whose discovery of snuff films depicting gruesome murders and strange supernatural elements in his new house puts his family in danger.
...
Said to be one of the scariest films ever from a research study, Sinister is a deeply unsettling horror movie that perfectly mixes supernatural elements with psychological tension. The haunting score combined with the grainy, nightmarish footage of the murders results in an unnerving experience that sits with you long after you turn the lights out. Instead of watching the original movie, I strongly recommend this fanedit version of the film. It elevates the movie by removing some of the cheesy jumpscares and awkward dialog. If you're looking for a genuinely haunting movie this Halloween, I recommend this one.
7. 1408 (Film, 2007)
Tumblr media
Author Michael Enslin, who specializes in debunking paranormal occurrences, checks into the fabled room 1408 in the Dolphin Hotel in New York City.
...
This film excels in building suspense, using minimal special effects, and relying on our main characters' isolation and psychological unraveling to create fear. While this movie isn't as overtly terrifying as other horror films, 1408 offers an eerie, slow-burn experience, blending supernatural elements with personal trauma. The film has two different endings, the theatrical version and the director's cut. I'd suggest watching both to come to the conclusion of your favorite. It's a must-watch for fans of psychological horror, and I strongly recommend this film.
8. Midsommar (Film, 2019)
Tumblr media
A couple travels to Northern Europe to visit a rural hometown's fabled Swedish mid-summer festival. What begins as an idyllic retreat quickly devolves into an increasingly violent and bizarre competition at the hands of a pagan cult.
...
This is a visually stunning and disturbing horror film set against the backdrop of a bright, idyllic Swedish village. The movie stands out for its unique approach to horror, unfolding almost entirely in daylight, creating a sense of unease through its striking visuals, unnerving atmosphere, and slow-building dread. Midsommar is a polarizing piece of media, mixing folk horror with psychological drama, and is filled with symbolism and unsettling imagery. I highly recommend this film if you're looking to be disturbed this Halloween.
9. Skinamarink (Film, 2022)
Tumblr media
A young brother and sister wake up during the night to discover that their father is missing and that the windows, doors, and other objects in their house have vanished.
...
Skinamarink is an experimental analog horror film that trades traditional narrative for a surreal, nightmarish atmosphere. Shot in grainy, low-light cinematography, the film immerses you in a disorienting and eerie world where fear of the unknown takes center stage. The film’s strength lies in its ability to evoke childhood fears, using abstract visuals and unsettling sound design to create a sense of dread. However, its unconventional approach may alienate some people who expect a clear plot or resolution. The minimal dialogue and deliberate pacing make Skinamarink more of a mood piece than a traditional horror film, relying on atmosphere over jump scares. For those willing to embrace its experimental nature, Skinamarink offers a haunting and disquieting experience that lingers long after it ends, tapping into primal fears of isolation and helplessness. For all these reasons, I highly recommend that you check out this film.
10. Heck (Short Film, 2020)
Tumblr media
A child wakes up in the middle of the night to the sound of his mom's television blaring.
...
Heck is a short film that shares a similar atmospheric approach to the creator's feature-length film Skinamarink. Like Skinamarink, it explores the feeling of being trapped in a surreal, dreamlike space. The film's minimalist aesthetic, with grainy visuals and a haunting soundscape, creates a disorienting atmosphere that leaves much to the imagination. It builds tension through its slow pacing, relying on the viewer's discomfort with the unknown rather than traditional horror tropes. For people who thought Skinamarink's runtime was excessive, Heck is a great substitute that captures the same atmosphere of the former. I highly recommend this film to people who have enjoyed Skinamarink's take on horror.

So I saw in another post that Greg Heffley was originally intended to be in dr69 and possibly a culprit? If you managed to add him how would you go about doing it??
I know I answered a question similar to this one about Greg, but I wanted to go into more detail about how I would try and implement him in the killing game. Bear in mind I haven't read the books in years and only skimmed his wiki page (and the sociopath theory doc cuz that one's pretty useful for this lol).
Greg, would be granted (by himself, following the DR69 lore) as the Ultimate Writer, Video Game Expert, or Autobiographer (the former would clash a bit with Brian's talent so I'm a bit unsure). I think, being put into a life or death situation, he would be a bit more paranoid... or so we think. On the outside, he makes it out that he believes it's all a big prank or joke by someone, hiding any nerves to make himself look better in front of everyone else.
Through any daily life, hell, even investigations and trials, he does all he can to make himself look as impressive as possible, stretching the truth on his sleuthing skills. He paints himself as a brave representative, however when faced with a hard logical aspect of a case, casually tips it off to someone else, only to claim full credit for himself. I feel like some people would fall for it, while others roll their eyes and grit their teeth just so they can move on for the sake of the trial.
Now... when does he turn into a killer? Well, out of all the motives in DR69, the most fitting for Greg does feel like the 2nd: the granted wish. After all, all Greg's ever dreamed for is success and riches. I mean, he doesn't have to get his hands that bloody to count as murder, right? (I think the 3rd motive could also work as he feels like the type to get paranoid about someone having dirt on him, but the 4th isn't that strong as he seldom holds many people very close to him).
I'm not sure who exactly he'd kill, but it'd have to be someone that could be easily manipulated. I think anyone from Fluttershy, Parappa, Miku (but probably not, for obvious reasons), 2D, Dedede, or Mr. Krabs would be possible. Of course I'm not saying these guys are easy targets -- they're just very nice people who would unfortunately be victim to Greg's disgusting actions. I'd say Peter too, however he feels a bit too big for Greg to take one alone... who knows. Also Luigi but if he's still protag rights then nah lol.
His main factor for his case would be his lies. He would drench himself in as many alibis and fabricate as much evidence that removes him from the suspect list as possible. He would use anyone that falls for his narratives as bait and tools to further guarantee his safety. The details would be meticulous, or so he thinks.
It's the lies that get him caught, also. A slip of the tongue. An account that doesn't quite add up with another. He tries to stretch it further. He says he was simply forgetting this one part, didn't mean to say another. Eventually, no one is convinced by his fables anymore, and everything starts to fall apart. His facade starts to slip too, showing his true nature: just a young boy who wants validation. A young boy who wanted some recognition.
A young boy who isn't ready to die.
I'd like to think one of the remaining students finds a diary he's been writing in while the killing game was going on. He feels a lot more real through these pages than he ever did around anyone else. You could almost feel sorry for him, as if this was a cry for help.

Fanfic ask game - L and M!
L: How many times do you usually revise your fic/chapter before posting?
After I finish a chapter. I self edit two to three times than I send it to my sister to read. She'll correct my grammar. After her feedback I edit again. Send it to her to re-read. And then if I'm feeling paranoid I'll read through it incase I need to edit a second time.
After posting I tend to ignore it for a while, writing the other chapters til I decide to read through it again and it more than often results in me editing it here and there.
M: Got any premises on the back burner that you'd care to share?
I'm assuming I answered the question incorrectly last time which is my bad. I'll tell the stories and ideas I've thought about but done nothing with nor do I think I ever will do anything with. And for fun and it make it easy on others I'll give everything names.
The Fraggers!: LOL So Lobo, New 52 Lobo, Sheba (who I think was supposed to take Lobo's spot in New 52 before they created New 25 Lobo), Slobo from Young Justice, Crush/Xiomara Rojas Lobo's daughter, and my OC Leah (fun fact I created her when I was 11) get forced into an Alien Family Game Show. Sort of like Big Brother except it's families competing other families. Everyone agrees to it because there's this huge cash reward for winning. And everyone in the family likes money to some degree. Crush is lucky to have Slobo because he's the one making sure Lobo doesn't betray everyone. There's supposed to be bonding and fights. The Lobos keep fighting for the name and because they think they know how to handle teenagers better than the other.
Maggie Opal: It's about a young adult girl with an imaginary troll friend/boyfriend named Hank. Our girl basically has schizophrenia and is leaving in a shitty life. People start going missing in her town including our girl's bully so she looks into it. It's played throughout the whole story that magic isn't real. Like the woman kidnapping and killing people is labeled a "Hag" but she's not supposed to be. Until Maggie finds out she's pregnant which makes no sense to her because she's only done sexual things with her imaginary boyfriend. And than plot twist magic is real. Our girl hasn't been imaging anything. Hank is an actual troll. The woman she fought was an actual Hag. Magic just doesn't have a kewl color effect or anything like that. And Maggic never realized the truth because her extension of belief was too strong.
Yandere Boyfriend: A yandere killer becomes obsessed with a detective. So he's been going after and killing criminals that the law's been letting get away due to the lack of evidence, lawyers, or simply because the person has money and power. So our yandere has been playing Dexter, murdering them in the hopes our detective will fall in love with him that way and or to make their life less stressful. Of course the detective will catch on and try to stop the yandere despite believing he's doing the right thing because a crime is a crime. I even thought about the yandere having a pet turtle name Mr. Williams who he talks to about everything.
Demi: It's my demigod college AU story. Like Nicktoons it's gonna be a freak of the week so different stories about different characters at the time. All the characters are somewhere between 18 to 30 years old unless they're a staff member. I guess the premise is "I the writer love mythos and fables."
The last two are connected to my posted fics. One being Hellsing Dracula, which is the story Dracula but what I think the Hellsing's version of it is. Because as much as Hellsing is accurate to Bram Stroker's Dracula, it also isn't. So I figured it would be fun. The second would be a different story of how Shirley and Alucard met. Although I don't think it would be a good read which is why I've done nothing with it. Next would be my altered version of Nicktoon episodes and movies but in my universe. Again never done anything because I think I can explain those events through the Nicktoon series. I guess a fanfic for Dracula vs Hitler being it's my guilty pleasure book but it's too insane to every do anything with. And lastly the Future Hellsing/Blue Exorcist crossover but I need to finish the previous stories before heading to the that one.
Hopefully I answered the question correctly this time lol. I don't know what else to say I don't really come up with themes or messages for stories. At least not before I write them I just pants the stories.

Terrence Malick's Badlands is in its essence a fable about the nature of evil. Martin Sheen's Kit is, in the cliché parlance, a "cold-blooded killer," one who doesn't reflect on his actions, whether it's picking up the girl he takes a fancy to, or casually gunning down anyone who stands in his way. There's mercifully little in the way of backstory psychology -- we take Kit and Holly (Sissy Spacek) for what they are. We can surmise about Holly's emotional blankness, since we see a little of her father (Warren Oates), who is an inept and even cruel parent (he kills her dog to punish her), but we see and learn almost nothing about what shaped Kit. The tendency of some would be to fault the environment in which the two grow up: the bleak, opportunity-starved small towns of the American heartland. But Malick lets his cinematographers -- Tak Fujimoto, Stevan Larner, and Brian Probyn -- seek out the spare beauty of the region. We're left to surmise that perhaps this kind of evil -- the kind we see often in the cruel gun stories of our day -- can find its nourishment anywhere.

#Househuntedgame #ThisGrossAiArts #StuffIRandomlyFind
Randomly found this Maison Talo headshot art on google images and I'm not sure if it's actually drawn or Ai.
Might be Ai do to the eyes looking weird and I also found a almost full body.
I like actual art made by humans with heart and soul put into it and not machine made art the just steals from other people to make one artwork.
I wonder who generated these?
I sometimes check google images for Maison Talo to see if anyone was selling merch on Etsy and other websites or finding weird images/rare fanart.
I noticed this Ai Maison Talo doesn't have the blue and yellow house pin but when I tried to reverse image search this Ai art I did get Maison Talo's game image with some fanarts but not where the image came from.
Also this Ai Maison Talo's business cards give me Illbleed invitation card vibes since they are black and red.
Also seems like this Ai art program tried to copy Maison Talo's brown watch.
I noticed this Ai art might have tried to copy Mortisfox's Maison Talo's beta artwork without his house pin since the background looks similar but is a little off like the Ai art's drawing the ears weird.

Found these here.

Off topic but If my art was good enough to redraw this Maison Talo Ai art like my Illbleed level au idea I had for the REALTORs.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
This Ai Maison Talo seems like if the Illbleed creator Shinya Nishigaki made a Illbleed level then have a twist when you find a newspaper clipping of the killer that looks like the home owner without a house pin you are escorting out from the level which is the house to prevent the robber enemies from kidnapping him to later killing him in his own house then have a cutscene play where he puts on the house pin and your character gets shocked like in level 2.
Like this.

I did try to free Ai roleplay with this Maison Talo and this bot was pretty nice and was kind of in character from Zable Fable randomly realm jumping inside of his house body.
This bot interested me and was way better than the last Ai Maison Talo I chatted with a long time ago.
(The reply I would have gave if didn't have to login.)
Zable Fable: Well that's good and I love the outfit you are wearing. How are you doing today Mr. Maison Talo? *walks in place at 8029 then holds the microphone and Janet clings onto Zable's back while holding the cellphone to record *
Janet: You have a nice place sir. * she sees the pretty lamp in Maison Talo's house then randomly translates Maison Talo's name to shiver at the name while tilting her head back to Zable and holds cellphone while recording the interview *
I wanted to record this Ai voice from this Ai Maison Talo from this roleplay site when reacting to my oc Zable Fable randomly realm jumping inside of his house body.
I still like roleplaying with real people more than Ai.

#339: The Fable: The Killer Who Doesn't Kill (2021)
"The Fable: The Killer Who Doesn't Kill" is the sequel to the Japanese action comedy film The Fable >>>. This film was brilliant. The setting is similar to the previous one, but the storyline is more interesting. Although the film mainly follows the original, those who don't know the original or the animated version can enjoy it because it is a well-made action-comedy film.

ABOUT:
Some savvy historians may know of the tales of the forgotten Tsar. They're small and concise stories that mostly conflict with one another and boast various endings, all hidden in pages of old books and assumed to be fables that warn of greed and power-hunger. The stories depict a young emperor born of noble blood who watched his father drink and eat himself to death while his people died of starvation and poverty. The young Tsar took to the throne when he was a young man, thrust into a world of politics and distrust after his father's passing. The paranoia eventually appeared, the Tsar believing some of his closest people were ready to betray him for power and sentencing them to brutal deaths. The greed also overtook the Tsar, countless nights spent at lavish feasts and abandoning his duties for self indulgence.
These stories then claim the Tsar became mad with distrust, desperate to not lose his riches and power. He hired the help from a group of outsiders to be his eyes and ears. This coven of mysterious cloaked figures lurked through the Tsar's land and home, watching and listening and killing any potential threat. Apparently, one night at one of his many feasts, the cloaked figures approached the Tsar. "Are you ready?" was asked, "Yes." the Tsar replied, arms open wide to accept his fate. Some stories say he was expecting a crown, or gold to be thrown into his hands but other stories say he knew he was about to be killed before his guests' eyes. Then the stories claim that within the last inch of madness, the Tsar awoke and too became a killer ensuring he had the last word, last power and last greed after all.
The Zotov name can no longer be traced, essentially dead and not existing since the 1500s. Alec has lived many lives since that fateful night when he graciously accepted immortality as a gift. A priceless gift that gave him more power than he could ever dream of. Within the world of the Supernatural, Alec's name is known as a human trafficker for other vampires. He's manned a vast work force of vampires for centuries, kidnapping, trafficking and ensuring his kind have fresh blood to feed and be strong. He has traveled far and wide, sometimes going into hiding for decades at a time only to reemerge and continue on his way. Alec isn't an approachable man and he was never one as a human either, he sees Vampirism as a gift and has been very selective with the humans he's turned. He does not belong within a coven but there are many Vampires who work for him within the blood trade. His name is known, but isn't exactly always praised.
Alec was settled in Hollow Cove when the war erupted and has been indifferent about Werewolves joining them. He doesn't love having new pet dogs on his doorstep but he'd rather be there than have to constantly fight, because after all, the world may have forgotten the greedy Tsar who preferred to eat, drink and indulge. But Alec hasn't.

The Fable
Hiya, long tum, no blr. Hope you’re doing well. I guess I’m just here to share another piece of writing I recently did, where I talked about The Fable, a 2019 Japanese action-comedy, and its sequel. They’re good. https://themarckoguy.wordpress.com/2022/04/22/the-fable-the-movies-that-i-really-like/  Have a good one

So my logic here is that Bane is a pretty smart dude. He was able to deduce Batman's identity and stay in the shadows just enough to toy with him as he was worn down to a shell of a man. So given the right scenario he could keep a low enough profile to keep himself safe from having his name written down. This of course would be countered as established by The Tick that Kira would be "to smart" to figure out Bane is his actual name.
So after seeing criminals die, many of them by freak accidents something would click. Bane is no dummy he'd know this is to much to be a coincidence. Someone is killing these people and they're able to do it with no evidence. He'd go to the usual suspects first, Deathstroke, Deadshot, maybe even Luthor. But after each of them convinced them they had nothing to do with it, especially after Luthor dies of a heart attack right in front of him he'd suspect there was some supernatural work at play.
From there he'd use his connections in the League Of Shadows to research supernatural forces that could kill a man from a seemingly infinite distance. This is how he'd learn of a fabled tomb, a "book of death's favor" they'd call it cause Raz has got to be fancy like that. From here things click. This would be dealer of death is attacking criminals seemingly at random. And they are. This is not a play for power nor a bid to take out any rival family. This is a child playing with God's power.
Now this is the hard part. Which child has gained Death's favor. Smart as he is a kingpin he is not. He doesn't have connections to monitor so many schools in so little time. But assuming this is playing out as it does in the original show (Gotham just exists in this version let's roll with it) he'd realize the largest cluster of these random deaths are taking place in Japan. And of course, thanks to a certain detective's antics he would learn the killer is in Tokyo.
From there it would he a case of tracking down every loner with a superiority complex. Someone from the honor roll. Such students are always thinking they're above everyone else. He then finds one who seems to have one sided conversations with himself when he's alone and goes through an inhumane number of apples. Bane would then confront this child in his own home, break his hands, and then burn the death note in front of him to remind him that God's only power over man is what they give him. And Bane gives authority to no one.
