WAG Bootcamp
Part 2
Word count: 767
Pairing: lando Norris x reader, but mostly just Y/n and the WAGs
Summary: Y/n, Lando Norris’ new girlfriend, attends her first F1 race and is swiftly taken under the wing of the WAGs, who teach her the unspoken rules of f1
________________________________________________________
Y/n had been to big events before. Red carpets, premieres, and fashion weeks—she could handle a camera flash like a pro. But standing at the entrance of the paddock for her first-ever Formula 1 race, wearing her McLaren pass around her neck, she felt completely out of her depth.
The world of F1 wasn’t just about fast cars; it was about politics, strategy, and—most terrifyingly—the WAGs.
Lando had kissed her goodbye at the hospitality entrance, promising to see her after FP1, and that was when she was ambushed.
“Alright, rookie,” Kika, Pierre Gasly’s girlfriend, looped an arm through hers, her honey-blonde hair bouncing as she steered Y/n toward a private table in the paddock. “Time for bootcamp.”
“Bootcamp?” Y/n repeated, feeling a bit like a deer in the headlights.
“You think you can just waltz in here and be a proper F1 girlfriend without guidance?” Lily, Alex Albon’s girlfriend, teased, sliding into a seat with a knowing smirk. “No, sweetheart, it doesn’t work like that.”
“You’re lucky,” Alex, Charles Leclerc’s girlfriend, added. “Not everyone gets the full WAG orientation on their first weekend. Usually, we just let them suffer.”
Y/n blinked. “Should I be scared?”
Rebecca, Carlos Sainz’s girlfriend, gave her an encouraging pat on the back. “Yes.”
Lesson One: Pre-Race Preparation
“You need to know how to handle Lando before a race,” Carmen, George Russell’s girlfriend, started, flipping her sunglasses onto her head. “Every driver has their own pre-race routine. If you mess it up, congratulations—you’re the reason he finishes P12.”
“Wait—what?” Y/n’s eyes widened. “That’s a lot of pressure.”
“Not really,” Kelly, Max Verstappen’s girlfriend, said with a shrug. “Just don’t be annoying. Keep the energy calm, don’t talk too much, and if he’s in the zone, let him stay there.”
Kika nodded. “Pierre needs hype. So I tell him he’s the best, kiss him, and send him off like a gladiator into battle. Meanwhile, Lily literally has to trick Alex into thinking racing is just a fun little game so he doesn’t overthink.”
Lily grinned. “I gaslight him into thinking it’s no big deal. Works like a charm.”
“Susie?” Y/n turned to Susie Wolff, the ultimate WAG and wife of Toto Wolff. If anyone knew how to manage an F1 man, it was her.
Susie sipped her espresso like a woman who had seen it all. “Toto is different. He’s not the one in the car, but believe me, he’s more dramatic than any of the drivers.” She sighed. “My advice? Just make sure Lando doesnt forget to eat.”
“Got it. No messing with his pre-race mood, gaslight if necessary, and make sure he eats,” Y/n recapped. “I can do that.”
Lesson Two: Media Management
“Now, the media,” Alex said, leaning in. “You’re dating Lando. People will analyze everything you do. What you wear, how you look at him, whether or not you smiled when he crossed the finish line.”
“You need to learn the ‘paddock girlfriend’ face,” Kelly instructed. “Not too excited, not too miserable—just engaged enough to look like you care, but also mysterious.”
Lily demonstrated, tilting her head slightly and pressing her lips together in the perfect neutral expression.
Y/n tried to mimic her but ended up looking mildly constipated.
“We’ll work on it,” Carmen assured her.
“And social media,” Rebecca added. “Fans will stalk every post, every like. If you breathe near another driver, they’ll start a conspiracy theory that you’re cheating.”
Y/n groaned. “Oh, fantastic.”
“Just own it,” Kika advised. “If they start a rumor, make it worse. That’s what I do.”
Lesson Three: Surviving the Race
“You are now a part of the emotional rollercoaster that is watching your boyfriend risk his life at 300 km/h,” Susie said with a knowing look. “You will feel stress, anxiety, and possibly rage.”
“If someone crashes into Lando, you are obligated to hate that driver for at least two weeks,” Kelly informed her.
“And you need a coping strategy,” Rebecca added. “I stress-eat.”
“I online shop,” Alex said.
“I start manifesting,” Lily said dramatically.
“I drink,” Kika said, holding up a glass of champagne.
Y/n exhaled. “This sport is insane.”
The women all nodded in agreement.
As the session wrapped up, Y/n felt a new sense of confidence. Maybe she wasn’t fully prepared yet, but she had an elite team of WAGs ready to guide her through the chaos.
Just then, her phone buzzed. A message from Lando: How’s your first F1 day going?
She smiled, typing back: I think I just joined a secret society.
And so, the newest recruit of the WAG Bootcamp was officially initiated.

virtual racing bootcamp — 𝐦𝐯. 𝟏 max verstappen x fem!black!reader 2k words. fluff. brain vomit. tiniest explicit reference. not edited.
synopsis: you start showing interest in sim racing. max's only option is to turn you into the best virtual-racer there ever was--well besides himself, of course.
༊࿐ ⊹ ˚. thought about this the whole time i was working.
⌕ join taglist | feedback & requests | upcoming chapters | table of contents ↻
Tumblr media
you were probably unaware that sim racing was even a thing until you started dating max
like you’ve seen the funny little twitch clips of people playing driving simulators and being absolute menaces on the road, but you never knew actual virtual racing was a thing
anyways, whether or not you consider yourself a gamer in this scenario, you’ve always been pretty down to play videogames with max.
he absolutely annihilates you in FIFA, and no matter how much he tries to help you, you’re a lost cause
in return, you embarrass him in COD; he should’ve looked at your kd-ratio before he tried to play with you
but, sim racing 🧐
i mean, like, you never even fully considered that you could sim race at all, like not for leisure at least
max takes that shit seriously, he’s a part-time f1 driver full time simracing twitch streamer 😤
you are always around watching him practice on the sim, playing the f1 games, and even tuning in for his iracing competitions
at first, whenever max would stream you would probably be doing other things with your time
your hair, cleaning, self-care, cooking, etc.
eventually, you started migrating to sitting on the couch off-camera and watching him drive irl instead of having the stream on in the background
you were originally like, “oh it’s just because i wanna drool over his massive veiny hands” 🤤
but now it’s like “oh i wonder what each button he presses with his nicely proportioned fingers on the steering wheel does?”
and slowly it transforms from “wow my boyfriend is so cool” to “wait…this sim-racing thing is kinda cool”😵‍💫
now imagine you being like “lol wait a minute now” and being like i'm only interested in because my boyfriend loves it 🤥
in order to disprove this theory you start to ask max questions about virtual racing
not that you wouldn’t before, but they were fairly surface level; now you’re asking him about tactics, strategies, and track conditions etc.
and max is fucking thrilled 🫨🫨🫨 !!!
he eagerly answers all your questions (maxplaning 🥱), going way more into depth than you were expecting, but what did you think was going to happen
max is always happy to ramble about any small facet of virtual racing (doesn’t matter if it’s the sim, or iracing, or f1 2023) but
it makes him really pleased that you’re showing a genuine interest in it because most people don’t
you support him in anything he wants to do wholeheartedly, and listening and answering your well thought out questions has him falling head over heels for you again
so, he thinks nothing of it other than you being the best girlfriend he’s ever had and trying to learn more about what he loves
his previous girlfriends didn’t really care to understand how important vr racing was to him
they all just saw it as him playing a “game” and him wasting time when they could’ve been on dates or smth
anyways
everything is going fine and dandier, max continues to answer all of your vr racing questions, and you continue to watch him pilot the sim
until, he catches you watching a beginner’s guide on f1 2023 and get’s so jealous 😒
bro is all like “wtf, you’re watching some lame ass unranked gamer when i’m your professional driver boyfriend who does this for a living?? hell nah if you want to start playing i’ll teach you”
you’re just like, “nahhhh….i don’t want to waste your time trying to teach me, it’s not worth it. i’m not even a good driver irl, so—“
max shuts that down expeditiously
if his girlfriend wants to start vr racing, he only has one option
make you the best virtual racer there ever was (excluding him)
you’re wide-eyed like, “i just wanna go vroom vroom in circles for fun 😭”
max deathly serious, “that was never an option”
he enlists you in his virtual-racing training camp
if you are aware of the disney rapid training montage where the mc sings one song and suddenly they’re the best fighter ever, that’s how i imagined it
mulan, for example, i’ll make a man out of you
max reveals his inner george russell, he becomes a power point king
instead of date nights being cute pottery classes—they turn into him teaching you the parts of the car, the buttons on the wheel, f1 2023 settings breakdowns, reviewing iracing competitions etc.
eventually max finally allows you to play on the sim after he thinks you’ve got the theory down pretty good
you suck at first 🤗
but then you start clocking in some hours
after work, during your “lunch break”, using the sim while max is gone and playing during all the practice and media sessions
whenever max is gone, and you have any questions or ask for feedback on how to get better, you text him all about it, of course not expecting an immediate response back
max has told you before that he likes getting out of the car after a practice session and checking his phone to see all the missed messages from you with some wishing him luck and the others asking for his thoughts on your strategies
one day, he’s going for lunch with some of the other drivers and they start to make fun of him for how he’s stuck in his phone, heart-eyes and all as he rapidly texts you
they probably think that you’re sending him cute texts or photos like that one time they caught him looking at photos of you and learned he had a locked photo album of you on his phone ☠️
max remains unbothered under their teasing thinking, “they don’t know my gf can out pace them by .200 in f1 2023”
max even personally bothers christian into getting him another sim for you
christian is so tired of you two, max won’t leave him ALONE
i think max would text his team principal screenshots of your lap times and make jokes about it
“if checo keeps dnf-ing, my gf can fill in”
christian gets you the goddamn sim 😒
y’all procrastinate on building and calibrating it, max more so because it means his chair would stop smelling like you 🥺
you get it set up, but you still play on his sim every once in a while after he told you that because you’re a simp
he goes to stream one day, planning on practicing with the redline team for an upcoming iracing event
and the man almost BREAKS HIS LEGS trying to sit down because you forgot to move the chair back after you were done using it 😭😭
in between his groan of pain he let’s it slip “ow fuck, my girlfriend forgot to move the seat back after she was done”
chat goes ducking crazy
yooo, what? ur gf sim races???
is she good???
max is like “hell fucking yeah my girlfriend is great sim racer, she could replace one of the boys at redline if she wanted too!”
(team redline sweats anxiously, mics now suspiciously silent)
max continues, “well she is not as great as me, but she’s good i guess”
stream chat “they are going to have babies that completely dominate f1” “if their babies are born in the netherlands we will be stuck in purgatory cursed with hearing the dutch anthem forever”
max continues with his practice but everyone is begging to see you play, even some of the redline guys are asking questions
they wanna know if they’re really at risk of you stealing their seat
max gives up and turns to you on the couch with a smile and says, “i will beg, schatje. do not put it past me, we all want to see you drive. some people are saying i’m lying so you have to prove them wrong🙇🏼”
you’re like “what 😅 no 😧i suck 🤭 at this 🤗” but you’re already getting up and walking over to boot up your sim
the urge to flex on people and embarrass them is something both you and max share
max opens f1 2023 and starts a party for just you two, and you both decide to do quali laps at zandovoort
you do your hot lap first, and max goes after you
max y’ know, probably thinks that he can take it relatively easier on you, there’s no reason to put 100% effort into something for fun, so he puts in 95% 😀 (competitive boy)
and you know that one nepenthez meme
that’s how this goes
max is like, already rambling to the stream “yeah that’s a comfortable p1, she still has a lot to learn before she can beat a world champ—P2??!!!! 😧😳”
you’re just in the background in your sim chair, turned facing the camera with an innocent little smirk smile on your face ☺️
you got pole by .050, and chat starts bullying max, the redline boys laughing hysterically in his headphones
max requests a rematch and promptly annihilates you :)
i like to imagine that eventually you start joining max’s stream and the two of yous start having little racing tournaments whenever you guys have the time
omg could you imagine the little championship ceremony where you put party hats on jimmy and sassy and have fake little tiny gold trophies for whoever wins 🥹
imagine one day ‼️ you actually start doing iracing events, and just working your way up to being one of the best 😌
ANYWAYS to wrap it up, best teacher max ever
virtual racing 🤝 strong relationships

What Are Friends For? - Chapter 1
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Series Synopsis: Callum Turner thinks he’s a genius matchmaker. Angie, his best friend, thinks he’s meddling. Austin? He’s just curious. But as sparks fly, one question lingers—is this just a fleeting moment, or something worth holding on to?
Word Count: 3.2k
Masterlist
I’ve known Callum Turner since before I could walk—literally. Our mums were inseparable from the antenatal classes all the way through to playgroups. We were born three days apart, grew up living opposite each other on a quiet street in West London, and spent so much time together that people used to joke we were like twins.
In a way, they weren’t wrong. He’s the brother I never had, my partner-in-crime for as long as I can remember. The kind of friend you can scream at one minute and laugh with the next, no grudges, no pretence. We’ve been through everything together—bruised knees, first crushes, exam stress, and all the rest of it.
Now he’s off being an actor, doing incredible things, while I’ve stayed behind in the “real world.” Teaching primary school isn’t glamorous, but it’s solid. It’s meaningful. And while I’d never say it out loud, part of me envies the freedom Callum’s life offers—the chance to take big risks and chase something extraordinary.
So when he called me a few months back, buzzing with the news about Masters of the Air, I couldn’t help but feel proud of him. He was practically bouncing through the phone, telling me about the part, the cast, the bootcamp they’d be doing. “It’s a proper World War Two epic,” he’d said. “You’d love it, Ange. You’re the expert, after all.”
The “expert” part was pushing it, but he wasn’t wrong about my love for the era. It started with my Nan’s stories—tales of bomb shelters, rationing, and dancing with American soldiers. She made that time sound equal parts terrifying and magical. When she passed a few years ago, I started writing about it, trying to weave her stories into something meaningful. Not that anyone’s read it.
“You’ll have to let me visit the set,” I’d teased Callum.
“Absolutely,” he’d promised. “Though you might have to cook me a roast first.”
Now, standing in my tiny kitchen on a grey Sunday afternoon, I was realising he hadn’t been joking. Callum had insisted on coming home for the day, and of course, I couldn’t say no. It had been ages since we’d caught up properly. But the mention of a “plus one” came only yesterday.
“Don’t stress,” Callum had said over the phone. “He’s just a mate. You’ll get on great.”
The buzzer rang, and I wiped my hands on my apron before pressing the intercom. “Come on up,” I said, unlocking the door. A moment later, footsteps echoed in the stairwell, followed by a familiar knock.
I pulled the door open to find Callum grinning like the cat that got the cream. Beside him stood a man I didn’t recognise. A beautiful man. Striking, really, with sandy blonde hair and sharp features that belonged on the cover of a glossy magazine. His piercing blue eyes locked onto mine, and for a second, I forgot how to speak.
Callum beamed. “Angie, meet Austin. Austin, Angie.”
Austin shifted slightly, offering a small smile. “Hey. Thanks for having me.”
His voice was warm, low but unassuming, and for some reason, that grounded me more than anything else. I blinked, recovering from my momentary lapse into silence, and stepped aside. “Oh—yeah, of course. Come in.”
Callum breezed past me first, kicking off his shoes without a care in the world, while Austin followed more carefully, glancing around my flat with quiet interest. I suddenly became hyper-aware of everything—the books stacked on my coffee table, the slightly wonky gallery wall I’d been meaning to fix, the faint smell of roast chicken lingering in the air.
“It smells amazing in here,” Austin said, his smile soft but genuine.
“Yeah, yeah, she’s a bloody domestic goddess,” Callum called over his shoulder as he collapsed onto my sofa, sprawling out like he owned the place. “You’ll never eat a better roast in your life, mate.”
I rolled my eyes, untying my apron as I followed them in. “Don’t oversell it, Cal. It’s just a roast.”
“No, it’s the roast,” Callum corrected, before turning to Austin. “I’ve had Michelin-star meals that don’t come close to this.”
Austin let out a quiet laugh, looking at me. “That true?”
I shook my head, smirking. “He’s full of it. But I appreciate the enthusiasm.”
Austin nodded like he was taking mental notes, then hesitated for half a second. “Do you need any help with anything?”
The offer surprised me. I was used to Callum doing absolutely nothing when it came to meals, except for showing up and eating. I waved a hand dismissively. “Nah, it’s all under control. You can make yourself comfortable.”
Austin seemed to consider that for a moment before choosing a seat at the table, resting his forearms on the wood. He was relaxed, but not in an arrogant way—more like someone who was perfectly fine just observing for now. Callum, meanwhile, was already flicking through the books on my coffee table.
“Oh, come on,” I sighed. “At least pretend you’re a guest.”
“I am a guest,” he shot back. “A regular guest. I’m like—like an honorary flatmate.”
“You're not even in the city most of the time,” I pointed out.
“Details,” Callum said, dismissing me with a wave. “The point is, Austin, my dear friend, you’re in for a treat.”
Austin chuckled, glancing between us. “You guys really are like siblings.”
I huffed, heading back toward the kitchen to check on the gravy. “Unfortunately.”
Callum grinned. “You love it.”
I didn’t dignify that with an answer.
By the time we sat down to eat, the atmosphere had settled into something easier, more familiar. Callum had always had a way of making a room feel alive, and Austin—while quieter—seemed to absorb it rather than deflect it. He wasn’t trying to keep up or match Callum’s energy, but he wasn’t shrinking back either.
“So, how do you two know each other?” I asked as I passed Austin the potatoes.
“Work,” Callum said through a mouthful of food. “Obviously.”
“Obviously,” I echoed dryly. “I mean, how? Did they stick you in a room together and tell you to bond?”
“Pretty much,” Austin said, amusement flickering in his expression. “Bootcamp started a few weeks before we began filming, so we were thrown together pretty quickly.”
“You mean torture camp,” Callum corrected. “It was brutal, Ange. You’d have cried.”
I shot him a look. “Wow, thanks.”
“You know what I mean.” He waved his fork at me. “You don’t do military nonsense.”
“No, I don’t do your nonsense,” I muttered. Then I glanced at Austin, curious. “Was that the training thing Cal mentioned? Was it really that bad?”
Austin hesitated, as if weighing his answer. “It was intense. But I get why they did it. They wanted us to feel like a unit.”
“And did you?” I asked.
His gaze flicked toward Callum, then back to me. “Yeah,” he said simply. “I think we did.”
Callum grinned. “See? That’s soldier talk right there.”
Austin rolled his eyes but didn’t argue.
The conversation meandered between filming, travel, and Callum’s usual over-the-top stories. Austin listened more than he spoke, but when he did chime in, his words carried weight. He wasn’t just nodding along—he was engaged, asking me questions about my job, my life, like he actually cared to know the answers.
“So, Callum tells me you’re a teacher?” he asked at one point.
“Yeah, Year Four,” I said. “Mostly wrangling kids, trying to get them to listen.”
Austin smiled. “That’s impressive. I bet it takes a lot of patience.”
“Some days more than others,” I admitted. “But they’re great. Keeps life interesting.”
“I believe it,” he said. “My mom ran daycare out of our house when I was a kid. Always a full house. I don’t know how she did it.”
That caught my attention. “So you grew up surrounded by kids?”
“Pretty much,” he said. “I got good at sharing.”
That made me laugh. “Wish I could say the same about my lot. They’d fight over air if I let them.”
Austin chuckled. “I feel like that’s just kids in general.”
“Yeah,” I agreed, shaking my head. “Still. They’re brilliant. Exhausting, but brilliant.”
Austin didn’t look away, and I found myself holding his gaze for just a beat longer than necessary before I cleared my throat and reached for my drink.
After dinner, Callum predictably migrated back to the sofa, stretching out like he had no plans to move for the next several hours. Austin, however, surprised me.
“Let me help,” he said, standing and gathering his plate.
“You don’t have to,” I said automatically.
“I want to,” he replied simply.
I hesitated, then nodded toward the kitchen. “Alright. If you insist.”
He followed me in, rolling up his sleeves before reaching for the drying rack. “That was seriously good,” he said as I ran the tap. “Callum wasn’t lying.”
“He usually is,” I joked, elbowing him lightly. “But I appreciate that.”
Austin chuckled, taking a plate from me to dry. “Does he always invite himself over like this?”
“Like clockwork,” I said. “It started when we were kids. He realised my mum made better Sunday dinners than his and never left.”
Austin smirked. “Smart man.”
“Debatable.”
We worked in comfortable silence for a minute before he spoke again. “So, Callum mentioned you’re into World War Two history?”
I paused. “Did he?”
Austin nodded. “Said your Nan had stories.”
I swallowed, focusing on rinsing a glass. “Yeah. She grew up during the war. She used to tell me about it all the time.”
“That’s amazing,” Austin said, genuine interest in his voice. “You must’ve learned a lot from her.”
“I did,” I said softly. “She made it feel real.”
Austin studied me for a moment, as if he wanted to ask something else, but instead, he just nodded. “That’s really cool.”
I exhaled, forcing myself to relax. I hadn’t expected that conversation to affect me, but something about the way he listened—really listened—made me feel oddly seen.
And I wasn’t sure how I felt about that.
With the dishes done, we moved into the living room, where Callum had sprawled himself out on the sofa like he owned the place. I settled into the armchair across from him, while Austin took the spot beside Callum, resting his forearm on the back of the sofa, looking perfectly at ease but not overconfident.
The conversation drifted between light topics—London weather (predictably unpredictable), the state of Callum’s flat (“a disaster zone,” according to him), and the absurdity of filming in wool uniforms during a heatwave. Then, during a lull, I turned to Austin.
“So,” I said, tucking my legs under myself, “what else have you worked on? I’ll be honest—I haven’t seen much of Callum’s castmates’ work. He tends to just tell me they’re ‘brilliant’ and leave it at that.”
Austin let out a quiet laugh but hesitated before answering. He rubbed his hands together absently, as if weighing his words. “Uh, a few things here and there,” he said finally, his voice even. “Mostly smaller roles until recently.”
“He’s being modest,” Callum cut in, nudging him with his elbow. “You should’ve seen him in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Absolutely terrifying.”
I blinked. “Wait—you were in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood? I’ve seen that!”
Austin gave a small, almost sheepish smile, a faint flush creeping up his neck. “I played Tex.”
The name clicked instantly, and my eyes widened. “The guy in the ranch scene? That was you?”
He nodded, ducking his head slightly like he wasn’t used to this kind of attention. “Yeah, that was me.”
“That’s insane,” I said, leaning back. “I remember watching that scene and thinking, ‘This guy is way too good at being creepy.’ No offence.”
“None taken,” he replied with a quiet laugh, his shoulders relaxing slightly. “That was the goal, after all.”
“Tarantino helped, I bet,” Callum added, taking a sip of his drink. “But seriously, tell her about Elvis.”
Austin shot him a quick look, somewhere between exasperated and amused, but Callum wasn’t about to let it go.
“He just wrapped filming on Elvis,” Callum announced, grinning like he was proud of himself for being the first to say it. “Spent two years working on it. Two years!”
“Almost,” Austin corrected, rubbing the back of his neck. “It was… a lot. A lot of prep, a lot of music, a lot of late nights.”
“Two years?” I echoed, eyebrows shooting up. “That’s… intense. I can’t imagine staying in someone else’s head for that long.”
Austin nodded, his gaze dropping briefly to his hands. “It was one of those roles where you don’t really have a choice. You either give it everything, or you don’t do it at all.”
I studied him for a moment, trying to imagine what that kind of commitment must have felt like. Callum had told me before about getting lost in characters, but there was something different about the way Austin spoke—like the experience still lingered with him, its weight undeniable but not unwelcome.
“That must’ve been overwhelming,” I said carefully, unsure how much to press.
“It was, he admitted, his voice steady as his eyes met mine again. “But it was worth it. I learned a lot—about the music, about him, about myself.”
Callum, mercifully, took the reins, raising his glass in a mock toast. “He killed it. I’ve seen clips. Absolutely smashed it.”
Austin shook his head, smiling faintly. “It’s not out yet, so we’ll see what people think. You never know how something like that will land.”
“If you’re even half as good as you were in bootcamp, it’ll be amazing,” Callum said confidently.
“High praise,” I quipped, grateful for the chance to lighten the mood. “Callum doesn’t usually compliment anyone who might outshine him.”
“Oi!” Callum protested, though his grin betrayed his amusement.
Austin laughed, the sound rich and low, his earlier heaviness lifting just enough to make the moment feel lighter again.
And just like that, the evening settled into something easy—Callum cracking jokes, Austin chiming in with dry humour, and me, caught between the two of them, realising that maybe, just maybe, this wasn’t such a bad way to spend a Sunday.
Monday morning came too quickly.
One minute, I was sitting in my flat, laughing with Callum and Austin, half a glass of wine in my hand and no real obligations beyond tidying up. The next, I was back in the real world, standing in my classroom at 8 a.m., trying to summon the energy to wrangle a group of nine-year-olds into being remotely functional human beings for the day.
The contrast was almost comical.
I stacked the last of the exercise books on my desk, exhaling as I glanced around the room. The weekend already felt like a strange, detached memory—like something I’d watched happen to someone else rather than lived myself. That, or I’d dreamt the whole thing.
Except I hadn’t.
I’d met Austin Butler. He’d been in my flat, eating my food, washing my dishes. He’d laughed at my jokes. And, perhaps most disorientingly, he’d listened to me—really listened.
Not that it mattered now. I had a full day of lessons ahead, and the only people listening to me today would be my students, who, judging by the volume level in the corridor, were already far too awake for a Monday morning.
Midday—The Staff Room
“…And then he says, ‘Angie, meet Austin,’ like it’s the most casual thing in the world. Meanwhile, I’m standing there like an idiot, trying to remember how to speak.”
Zara, a Year Three teacher and my closest work friend, let out an exaggerated gasp, nearly spilling her tea. “Wait, wait, Austin Butler? Are you kidding?”
“Not kidding,” I said, stabbing at my pasta salad with my fork. “I had no clue who he was. Just thought, ‘Wow, this guy is stupidly attractive.’”
“That’s because he is stupidly attractive.” She leaned forward. “Angie. Angie. This man played Elvis.”
“Technically, not yet,” I corrected. “The film isn’t out.”
She narrowed her eyes. “Don’t do that thing where you act like this is normal. You had Austin Butler in your flat, eating your roast dinner, probably having a borderline religious experience because Yorkshire puddings aren’t a thing in America—”
“I don’t think it was religious—”
“—and you didn’t realise who he was?”
“I don’t live under a rock,” I said, exasperated. “I knew Callum’s new co-star was called Austin. I just hadn’t seen his films, and Callum’s descriptions of people are always useless.”
Zara groaned, flopping back in her chair. “I cannot believe you just casually had dinner with him.”
“It wasn’t a date,” I pointed out.
“Yet,” she shot back.
I rolled my eyes, but before I could argue, the bell rang, signalling the end of lunch.
Zara sighed dramatically. “You’re lucky I love my class, otherwise I’d stay here and interrogate you for another half hour.”
“Your class is adorable,” I agreed, standing up.
“So are you and Austin, apparently.” She winked before slipping out the door, leaving me shaking my head as I headed back to my classroom.
By the time I got home, I was exhausted. Monday always took it out of me, but today felt worse than usual. Maybe it was the mental whiplash—going from sipping wine with an A-lister (who I hadn’t even known was an A-lister at the time) to breaking up an argument between two nine-year-olds over whose turn it was to be goalie at lunchtime.
I dropped onto my sofa with a sigh, already thinking about ordering takeaway, when my phone buzzed.
Callum: Did you survive Monday?
I huffed a laugh and typed back: Barely. Back to reality and all that.
A second later, another message popped up.
Callum: Austin says thanks for dinner. Also, he thinks you’re cool.
I frowned at my phone. What does that mean?
Me: I’m cool? That’s a vague review.
Callum: Mate, just take the compliment.
I rolled my eyes but smiled despite myself.
I hovered for a second, debating whether to ask something before my curiosity got the better of me.
Me: So… what’s his deal?
Callum: What do you mean?
Me: Like… he seems quieter than the guys you usually hang out with. More serious. Is he always like that?
A pause. Then—
Callum: Yeah, he’s a good one. He thinks a lot before he speaks. And he’s proper dedicated to his work. Probably the most disciplined person I’ve met, if I’m honest.
That didn’t surprise me. I’d sensed something like that when Austin talked about Elvis—the way his voice had changed, the weight in his words.
I chewed on my lip before typing:
Me: What’s he like outside of work?
Callum: Why, you interested?
I groaned. I walked straight into that one.
Me: Forget I asked.
Callum: Nah, nah, I love this. Let’s unpack it.
Me: I hate you.
Callum: You love me.
I was about to throw my phone across the room when another message came through.
Callum: Just come to brunch on Sunday. You’ll see for yourself.

if you’re comfortable, could you dive more into your military family/background? like just lil facts or something, whatever you wanna share! i just love learning about stuff like this, learning about other peoples lives, especially because im a huge maladaptive daydreamer and into creative writing, n my current obsession is the military / SAS and im just curious about what things are actually like, from a personal perspective.
and if not that’s perfectly okay!! ❣️❣️
i cant say too much because the family members that have served, many of them have signed different kinds of NDAs (non-disclosure agreements, so i haven’t been told too much) but I can talk about some of my dad’s experience. My dad was in the Navy and he was a machinists mate nuclear. He worked on a submarine and worked on some things and witnessed some things he had to sign NDAs for. He managed to meet a couple of SEALs and had in depth conversations with them. My dad easily dehumanizes folks due to his time in the service, too. He was never special forces, but it’s very important even basic bootcamp teaches you to dehumanize folks. that’s the point of it!!
My dad’s dad was also navy, although i don’t remember his specific rate (rate = job, it’s the navy version of job/MOS or “military occupational specialty”) but i do remember it involved fighting, he was a ww2 if i remember right. My mom’s dad was air force, also a ww2 vet, he was a pilot of some sort, retired now. old bastard is somehow alive 😭 (my parents were born in the 60s).
a hard topic.. one of my babysitters (who is a family friend) is a veteran who went to afghanistan. (reminder im american). he didn’t come back the same and not all of him came back.. and he came back very.. violent if that makes sense?? he never hit me, his wife, or his kids, but he is very dehumanizing. he was some sort of special forces and this guy is messed up.
growing up, my dad wasn’t like.. strict, he wasn’t around too much, but you could tell the military changed his life. he always refers to the family as a team instead of individuals (the military does that to you, strips you of individualism and gives you the team mindset). he’s a great leader and he’s one of my role models as a human being in the real world. i grew up and got educated by him and the internet about the military, so i know quite a lot. if you have any specific questions about literally anything, i can try my best to answer!!!
i’m also going into the military and i’m open to questions abt that :-)

Lope: That Mirelle can be scary.
Jackalope: Hah, it's hard work in maintenance huh? I can't even begin to relate. My prisoners love me.
Lope: Ever consider the only reason they like you is because you have a guard for them to hurl all their animosity at. They probably don't even consider you being responsible for their predicament as a possibility.
Jackalope: ... Nah, I'm incredibly likable. So, it's only natural that they'd like me too.
03/05/24 9:45 PM
Mirelle: Huh, those guys weren’t lying... The lockers in here do open once we answer the question on the card- how obtuse. Nayo: This is ridiculous who sets up a system like this. Ina: Wow…seriously that’s so not cute you know. Like honestly a girl can’t have some harmless fun anymore. Mirelle: At his expense, right? Ina: Ahn, details. Sides fun is best had when it’s not at the expense of yourself ya know. Nayo: Shh- Be quiet for a second… I thought I heard something. Ina: Eww! Mirelle: Hey- Get off me! Ina: Ew gross, gross something furry rubbed against my leg- I don’t want to see. I don’t wanna- Mirelle: Girl what do you think it was? Ina: This place is old what if it was- was- Nayo: A rabbit? Ina: Huh- No, a spider. If it was a rabbit that’d be fine. Nayo: No, I mean there’s a rabbit down the hall. It also took our cards. Mirelle: … Ina: Huh… Nayo that’s not a rabbit. Nayo: Yeah, it is. Ina: Uhn-uh. Rabbits don’t have horns. Or clothes usually. Mirelle: Guy…clothes. Nayo: Well people dress up their pets all the time. Um Mirelle- Mirelle: DIE! Ina: Ah- Nayo: . . . Mirelle: GET OVER HERE YOU PERVERT RABBIT I’LL GOUGE YOUR EYES CLEAN OUT! PEEK AT ME WILL YOU- Nayo: I think this may be a trigger of hers. Ina: No, what tipped you off. Lope: This girl’s fast! A passage, a passage where’s a passage. Mirelle: I’ll teach you the importance of privacy- When I get my hands on you I’ll shave off all your fur and put you on display like a show dog you son of- Lope: ! Nayo: It’s just a rabbit calm down! Mirelle: Let me go! I’ll get you rabbit- I’ll get you and all your peeping kind! Ina: Um…we still need to get changed. Nayo: You don’t think I realize that! Ina: Well, excuse me…
Q.02 What’s the worst thing you’ve ever seen?
Mirelle: Pfft, this place for sure. What is this a bootcamp?
Q.06 Who are the worst types of people?
Ina: People who pretend to care about the rules or are super caring just to save face.
Q.10  What’s your worst subject in school?
Nayo: It's a toss-up between English and Art.

TRAINEE EVALUATIONS 007
SCHEDULE TYPE: TRIMESTER ( PART 1 OUT OF ??? ) SCHEDULE RESTRICTIONS: Cannot be paired with another trimester schedule, unless stated otherwise. for reference as to whether your muse is eligible for this event, please click over HERE.
later in the afternoon on JULY 10, SEO YOUNGJAE and SON EUNHO are present in the practice rooms as they watch the selected trainees enter the room one by one. listed below were the trainees who were called privately to arrive at the practice room:
BAEK BYEONGKWAN ( @lgcbk )
CHA HYOSEOP ( @lgchyoseop )
CHOI KAI ( @lgckai )
KANG MAXIMILIAN ( @lgcxmax )
KWON BAEKHYUN ( @lgcbaekhyun )
KWON HYUNTAE ( @hyuntaelgc )
“good afternoon.” SEO YOUNGJAE begins by greeting the trainees present before introducing the idol next to him, EUNHO, and what they’re about to do. “recently TYPE ZERO has lost two members and while this is unofficial, we’ve decided to take this time to find out who will be debuting in that group. unfortunately,” YOUNGJAE exaggerates the last word, indicating that what he’s about to say is anything but good news. “we felt that none of you are prepared to debut. there are many areas that all of you are lacking at and with us having limited time, all of you are brought here to participate in what could possibly be the most intense bootcamp or evaluation some of you have participated in.” even after revealing the most important part of the news, YOUNGJAE’s facial expression doesn’t change, still showing his poker face to the younger individuals.
“while TYPE ZERO is expected to have their comeback in a few months, they have other schedules to attend to. in the case of EUNHO,” YOUNGJAE turns his head towards the man next to him. “since BOMIN mentioned how much free time you have compared to the other members, you will be spending your time mentoring these trainees and practicing on your assigned skills too.”
for all of the trainees ( and EUNHO ), they will be told by YOUNGJAE the following skills that they will be asked to work on during this time:
BAEK BYEONGKWAN: SINGING, DANCING
CHA HYOSEOP: SINGING, KOREAN
CHOI KAI: SINGING, MANDARIN
KANG MAXIMILIAN: SINGING, PERFORMANCE
KWON BAEKHYUN: DANCING, PERFORMANCE
KWON HYUNTAE: SINGING, ENGLISH
SON EUNHO: SINGING, DANCING
the trainees in this group will not PARTICIPATE in TRAINING MISSION 014 because they will start their bootcamp training from today until AUGUST 12. HOWEVER, they will still be a part of LGC BOYS and their project.
SCHEDULES
for the trainees, they will be asked to learn the following songs:
JULY 10-15: BEFORE THE DAWN
JULY 17-22: MONSTER ( ENGLISH )
JULY 24-29: DIAMONDS ONLY ( MANDARIN )
JULY 31-AUGUST 5: BAD ALIVE ( ENGLISH )
AUGUST 7-12: SPRAY
since none of the trainees are asked to work on rapping, all of the songs that they will have to learn and perform in front of the coaches will be singing AND dancing only ( for songs that don’t have dancing in the irl reference, the coaches will show a choreography created just for this evaluation only ). if a song has a language listed next to it, that means that they will be learning the song in that language.
during JULY 10-25, SEO YOUNGJAE will not be present because he will be involved in TRAINING MISSION 014 and will be substituted with another coach ( JANG INSUNG ). also, EUNHO will be teaching all of the trainees the songs mentioned above and giving tips to them on what they could do to improve and prepare themselves for the evaluation. whenever the trainees are not available ( due to other schedules ), EUNHO will be having private singing and dancing lessons with JANG INSUNG.
EVALUATION & AUDITION
during the week of JULY 24-29, all of the trainees will be told beforehand that legacy is holding a private audition where each of them will be asked to perform one of the songs from PROJECT ORIGINS THE MUSICAL. results for that will not be revealed until the family concert 2k23 post.
furthermore, for their evaluation ( AUGUST 12 ) they will each be performing SPRAY in front of all of the coaches.
POINTS
as mentioned before, each of the trainees ( and EUNHO ) are assigned skills to work on during this period. to make sure that people meet the expectations set upon them ( both ic and ooc ), everyone involved will be required to gain AT LEAST 30 POINTS per person. this means that you must put at least 30 POINTS ( can be all 30 in one skill, or 15 and 15 with the two skills; doesn’t matter as long as you put 30 POINTS in total in one or both of the skills assigned ). ideally it would be best to get more, but it’s up to you how you would like to distribute those points. if EVERYONE meets this requirement before AUGUST 12, 11:59PM EDT, they will be given additional rewards for their efforts.
A FRIENDLY REMINDER…
just like the past evaluations and bootcamps, all of the boys involved ( including EUNHO ) are forbidden to tell anyone about the details of this project. to the rest of the trainees, this project is perceived more as training for a lgc family concert’s special stage. since debuting is the end goal of this particular project, all of the trainees involved will be carefully supervised and monitored during this time. because of the intensity of this training, all of the trainees CANNOT participate in the youtube shows/podcasts ( whether it is being a guest or host ).
WRITING REQUIREMENTS
FOR EUNHO
INTENSIVE TRAINING: write a 4 replies ( minimum 8 lines ) thread with another trainee about anything happening with the training ( ex. teaching them the choreography, giving tips on how to improve, etc. ) for +10 POINTS TO ASSIGNED SKILL ( SINGING/DANCING ) ! ** can be done up to two times as long as it is with different partners **
FOR EVERYONE ELSE
INTENSIVE TRAINING: write a 4 replies ( minimum 8 lines ) thread with another trainee or EUNHO about anything happening with the training for +10 POINTS TO ASSIGNED SKILL !
BONUS: write a 4 replies ( minimum 8 lines ) thread with another trainee or EUNHO ( not the same as above ) about anything happening with the training OR continue a thread that originally started ( ooc ) from the previous term/Q2 with 4 additional replies between now and AUGUST 12 for +10 POINTS TO ASSIGNED SKILL !
make sure to use the hashtag lgc:bgtraineeeval for everything pertaining to this mission. you have until AUGUST 12, 2023 at 11:59PM EDT to complete the requirements and validate your points. please submit the following form ONCE on the points blog:
MUSE NAME ∙ TRAINEE EVALUATIONS 007 - INTENSIVE TRAINING: +10 ( assigned skill ) [ LINK ] ** for EUNHO, this can be done up to two times ** - BONUS: +10 ( assigned skill ) [ LINK ] ** for everyone except EUNHO **

Secret Tips to Make Money in 2025
Tumblr media
The world is evolving faster than ever—and with it, the ways people are making money. Whether you're looking to build a side hustle, escape the 9-to-5 grind, or diversify your income streams, 2025 offers golden opportunities if you know where to look. But here’s the truth: the real money-makers don’t always shout from the rooftops. They quietly leverage smart tools, strategic thinking, and emerging trends.
In this article, we’ll unveil secret money-making tips for 2025—most of which are off the radar for the average person. These aren't generic "start a YouTube channel" or "invest in crypto" tips. We're digging deeper to reveal strategies that smart entrepreneurs and investors are actually using. Better still, these methods are accessible to anyone—yes, even if you’re starting from scratch.
1. Use AI Tools to Build Semi-Passive Income
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer the future—it’s the present. But instead of fearing it, the smartest individuals are partnering with it.
Whether you’re a writer, graphic designer, coach, or business consultant, AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, or AutoGPT can help you create products, content, or marketing materials faster than ever. The best part? Many of these tools have free or low-cost versions, perfect for beginners.
Tip: Start with AI-generated eBooks or digital courses. Write, design, and publish in days instead of months. Platforms like Gumroad, Teachable, and Amazon KDP allow you to sell with minimal upfront cost.
Want to shortcut the learning curve? Download our free guide to "5 AI Business Models That Work in 2025" and start earning in days, not weeks.
2. Monetize What You Already Know
In 2025, you are the product. Your experience—whether it's in gardening, tech, education, or cooking—can be packaged into sellable knowledge. The creator economy is booming, and even niche audiences are worth thousands.
Instead of becoming a traditional influencer, think micro-expert. Build a mini-brand on a topic you already enjoy, and offer paid insights, templates, or 1-on-1 sessions.
Tip: Create a low-ticket offer (e.g. ₹499/£5 cheat sheet or workshop) to test your audience’s interest. Use platforms like Notion, Canva, or Podia to launch in under a week.
Still unsure where to start? Take our free quiz to discover your profitable niche in under 5 minutes.
3. Capitalize on Skill Arbitrage
Here’s a smart strategy: Learn a high-demand skill (like automation, email marketing, or AI prompt engineering), then offer it to overseas clients at competitive rates.
Why this works: Clients in the US or UK pay a premium for quality work—yet you can learn these skills online for free and offer services from anywhere in the world. Websites like Upwork, Contra, and Toptal are teeming with opportunities.
Tip: Start with freelance automation using platforms like Zapier or Make.com. Businesses want to save time and are desperate for people who can automate workflows.
Don't know where to start? Our Skill-A-Day Bootcamp teaches you 10 high-paying skills in 10 days.
4. Get Into “Digital Landlording”
Real estate isn’t the only game in town. In 2025, owning digital assets—like websites, newsletters, Instagram pages, or domain names—can be just as lucrative.
You don’t have to be a coder or designer. Many buy undervalued websites for as little as £200 and flip them for 5-10x. Or build your own with templates from Carrd, Framer, or Webflow.
Tip: Look into newsletter acquisitions or content sites monetized via affiliate marketing. Passive income potential is massive if managed correctly.
Pro tip: Check our curated list of high-ROI digital assets available this month to get started.
5. Affiliate Marketing with a Twist
Affiliate marketing isn’t new—but in 2025, there’s a new way to do it that’s less spammy and more profitable. Think value-first. Instead of pushing random links, build a small niche audience (even 100 followers is enough) and genuinely recommend tools or products you love.
Use Instagram, LinkedIn, or a blog to build trust, and watch conversions climb. You don’t need a huge following—just the right one.
Tip: Promote subscription-based products (like SaaS tools or learning platforms). You’ll earn monthly commissions instead of one-off payouts.
Need help finding your ideal affiliate brand? Grab our Ultimate Affiliate Cheat Sheet for 2025 with 50+ high-paying offers.
6. Flip AI-Generated Designs or Merch
Yes, AI art is controversial—but it’s also selling very well. From T-shirt designs to logo bundles, the market for digital assets is booming. Create art with tools like Midjourney or DALL·E, and sell them via Redbubble, Etsy, or Gumroad.
Some creators are making £500–£2000/month with a few well-designed items.
Tip: Niche down! Don’t sell generic quotes or floral patterns. Instead, target passionate micro-niches—like Dungeons & Dragons fans, K-drama lovers, or indie horror gamers.
Our Midjourney for Merch course can help you go from beginner to seller in a weekend.
7. Invest in Creator Startups (Even If You're Not Rich)
Crowdfunding platforms like Republic, Seedrs, and Wefunder allow you to invest small amounts in creator-led businesses and early-stage startups.
In 2025, the creator economy is where the money is going. By owning a piece of the pie early, you could see substantial returns within 3–5 years.
Tip: Look for businesses solving real problems for creators—like copyright tools, AI editing, or micro-influencer marketplaces.
Not sure which startups are legit? Join our free investor newsletter to get vetted opportunities sent weekly.
Final Thought: Fortune Favours Action-Takers
Making money in 2025 isn't about waiting for luck or hoping to go viral. It's about understanding trends, taking small risks, and building assets—whether digital or skill-based.
Most people will keep scrolling through reels, wishing they had more money.
You? You’re already ahead. You’ve just unlocked the secrets. The only question now is: what will you do with them?

Are Quality Assurance Testing Courses Worth Your Time and Money?
In today’s tech-driven job market, software is at the core of everything from mobile apps and web platforms to embedded systems and enterprise software. But with every software product comes the need for quality. This is where Quality Assurance (QA) Testing steps in. As more businesses prioritize robust digital experiences, the demand for QA professionals is skyrocketing. But this raises an important question: Are Quality Assurance Testing Courses really worth your time and money?
Let’s explore the real value of QA testing courses and whether they can set you up for career success.
What Is Quality Assurance Testing?
Quality Assurance (QA) Testing is the process of verifying that software meets required standards and performs as expected before it’s released. QA testers are responsible for identifying bugs, improving usability, ensuring compliance, and maintaining product reliability. Testing includes several approaches:
Manual Testing – testing software manually without tools.
Automation Testing – using scripts and tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TOSCA.
Performance Testing – evaluating speed and responsiveness.
Security Testing – identifying vulnerabilities and risks.
This discipline requires a keen eye for detail, problem-solving skills, and technical know-how. QA professionals are integral to software development teams and play a vital role in the product lifecycle.
Why People Are Considering QA Courses in 2025
There’s a growing interest in QA testing courses and for good reason:
1. High Demand for QA Testers
The global software testing market is projected to reach $70 billion by 2030. With the rise of Agile and DevOps, companies are releasing software faster, increasing the need for real-time testing. Whether it’s e-commerce, fintech, healthcare, or edtech, every domain needs QA professionals.
2. Entry Point into IT
Unlike roles like software development or cloud engineering, QA testing has a lower barrier to entry, making it ideal for:
Non-technical professionals entering IT.
Recent graduates seeking in-demand tech careers.
Professionals seeking a career pivot into tech.
3. Remote and Flexible Career Opportunities
Many QA roles offer remote work and freelancing options. It’s one of the few tech jobs that allow flexibility while still offering competitive salaries.
What You Learn in a QA Testing Course
A good QA testing course is not just theory; it’s practical, hands-on, and job-focused. Here’s what’s typically covered:
1. Fundamentals of Software Testing
Software development life cycle (SDLC)
Software testing life cycle (STLC)
Test planning, test cases, and test execution
2. Manual Testing Techniques
Black-box testing
White-box testing
Functional and non-functional testing
Regression and retesting
3. Automation Testing Tools
Selenium WebDriver
TestNG
JUnit
Cypress
Tricentis TOSCA
4. Bug Tracking and Test Management Tools
JIRA
Bugzilla
TestRail
HP ALM
5. Scripting Basics
Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting
API testing with Postman or SoapUI
6. Agile and DevOps Integration
Continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines
Testing in Agile environments
Collaboration using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker
Are QA Courses Really Worth It?
Let’s break down the value proposition of a QA course:
They Teach Practical, In-Demand Skills
Hiring managers aren’t just looking for degrees; they want hands-on experience. QA courses typically include real-time projects, assignments, and test case writing, helping you build a strong foundation.
Many bootcamps and online QA courses offer capstone projects that simulate real-world testing environments.
You Can Land a Job Faster
Most QA testing courses are short-term, ranging from 6 weeks to 6 months. Unlike multi-year degrees, these programs focus on job-readiness, accelerating your entry into the job market.
Cost-Effective Career Investment
You don’t need to spend tens of thousands on a college degree to break into QA. Many online and hybrid QA courses are priced between $500 and $5,000, with some even offering job placement assistance.
When compared to the average QA tester salary in the U.S. ($60,000–$100,000), the return on investment is excellent.
Certification Adds Credibility
QA training programs often prepare you for ISTQB certification, which is globally recognized and improves your employability. Some programs also provide certificates of completion, boosting your resume.
Factors to Consider Before Enrolling
While the benefits are clear, not all QA testing courses are equal. To determine if it’s worth your time and money, ask yourself:
1. Does It Offer Job Placement Assistance?
Look for programs that include interview prep, resume reviews, mock interviews, and placement support.
2. Is the Course Hands-On and Project-Based?
Avoid theory-heavy programs. You need real-world experience using test tools, writing scripts, and reporting bugs.
3. Are Instructors Experienced QA Professionals?
Choose programs taught by industry experts with years of QA experience, not just academic backgrounds.
4. Does It Include Automation Testing?
Manual testing alone won’t cut it in today’s job market. Courses must cover automation tools like Selenium, TOSCA, or Katalon.
5. Are There Reviews and Success Stories?
Check for alumni feedback. A program that consistently leads to job offers is a strong indicator of its value.
Real-World Success Stories
1: Amanda, From HR to QA Analyst
Amanda worked in HR for five years but wanted to break into tech. She enrolled in a 3-month QA bootcamp that offered Selenium automation training. Within four months of completing the course, she landed a QA analyst role at a fintech startup, doubling her income.
2: Raj Fresh Graduate to QA Engineer
Raj, a computer science graduate with no prior testing experience, joined a QA testing course online. The course provided real-time projects, helped him earn ISTQB certification, and supported his job hunt. Three months later, he secured a QA engineer position at a multinational company.
These examples show that QA courses can lead to real, tangible outcomes, especially if you're committed and choose the right program.
Key Benefits of QA Courses

WAG Bootcamp: Part 2
Tumblr media
Part 1
Word count: 593
Pairing: Lando Norris x reader
Summary: On her first-ever race day, Y/n experiences the chaos, stress, and excitement of Formula 1 as the WAGs teach her how to survive the emotional rollercoaster.
________________________________________________________
Y/n thought she had survived the worst of the initiation. She had learned the pre-race rituals, mastered (or at least attempted) the mysterious “paddock girlfriend face,” and even accepted that she now had to irrationally hate any driver who so much as looked at Lando the wrong way.
But nothing could have prepared her for race day.
The paddock was buzzing with energy—fans screaming, engines roaring, and mechanics in a frenzy. Y/n had barely taken a sip of her coffee when Kika grabbed her arm.
“Alright, rookie. Time for the next lesson.”
“What now?” Y/n asked warily.
“How to survive a Grand Prix,” Lily said, tossing her a pair of noise-canceling headphones. “Trust me, you’ll need these.”
Lesson Four: The Race-Day Survival Guide
Y/n followed the WAGs to the McLaren hospitality area, where they had their usual spots. The screens showed the cars lining up on the grid, and she could already feel her heart pounding.
“Step one,” Alex said, crossing her arms. “No matter what happens, you do not freak out on camera. If Lando crashes, you hold it together until you’re inside.”
“Wait—crashes?” Y/n swallowed. “We’re talking about, like, little crashes, right?”
Silence.
“Right?”
Susie patted her shoulder. “You’ll be fine, dear.”
Not comforting.
“Step two,” Rebecca added, “learn the art of selective hearing. The commentators will say stupid things, the fans will tweet even dumber things, and some guy named David Croft will mispronounce names. Ignore it.”
“Step three,” Carmen leaned in, lowering her voice. “If Lando is leading, do not say out loud that he’s going to win. You will jinx it.”
Y/n blinked. “You guys actually believe in jinxes?”
Kelly, who had remained quiet until now, turned to her with a dead-serious expression. “Max retired from Monaco 2021 because I said, ‘This is going well.’”
Y/n gasped. “Oh my God.”
“We don’t talk about it,” Kika muttered.
The lights went out, and the race began.
Lesson Five: How to Emotionally Handle a Race (Spoiler: You Don’t)
It started fine. Lando had a clean start, holding position. Y/n sat on the edge of her seat, gripping her hands together, trying not to scream every time someone got too close to him.
Then, lap 12 happened.
A driver—who Y/n immediately decided to despise for eternity—dove down the inside, nearly taking Lando out.
Y/n shot to her feet. “WHAT THE—”
Lily yanked her back down. “Cameras!” she hissed.
“That was reckless!” Y/n whisper-yelled, furious.
“Congratulations,” Alex smirked. “You just experienced your first ‘what the hell was that’ moment. There will be many more.”
For the next thirty laps, Y/n experienced every emotion possible. Joy when Lando made an overtake. Panic when the pit stop took too long. Rage when another driver squeezed him off track. She nearly passed out when he was fighting for a podium.
And then—P2.
“He did it!” Y/n gasped as Lando crossed the line.
The WAGs cheered, clapping and hugging.
Y/n exhaled, feeling like she had just run a marathon. “I don’t know if I can do this every weekend.”
“You will,” Kelly said, sipping her drink. “Welcome to the rest of your life.”
Lesson Six: The Post-Race Debrief
After a chaotic cooldown period, Y/n finally found Lando, still in his race suit, hair messy from his helmet, grinning as he pulled her into a hug.
“How was your first race?” he asked, slightly breathless.
Y/n looked at him, remembering everything—the stress, the screaming, the insane group of women who had taken her in.
She smiled.
“Terrifying. But I think I love it.”

Let’s be honest: the tech world can feel intimidating.
You hear words like JavaScript, APIs, cloud deployment, and your brain instantly goes into “I’m-not-a-tech-person” mode.
But here’s the truth nobody talks about enough:
👉 You don’t need a computer science degree. 👉 You don’t need years of coding experience. 👉 You definitely don’t need to feel stuck in a job that doesn’t excite you.
In 2025, companies are hiring full-stack developers based on skills, not degrees.
So if you’ve been thinking, “Can I really become a developer with no tech background?” — the answer is a big, confident YES.
What is a Full-Stack Developer Anyway?
A full-stack developer is someone who can build an entire web application — from the front-end (what users see) to the back-end (servers, databases, APIs).
It’s like being the architect and the builder of a house.
And with the rise in remote work, tech startups, and digital transformation, full-stack developers are in high demand globally — even for entry-level coding jobs with no experience.
What Skills Do You Need?
We break it down in our Full-Stack Development Bootcamp designed for absolute beginners:
✅ Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React ✅ Backend: Node.js, Express, SQL ✅ Tools: Git & GitHub, APIs, and real cloud deployment with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS)
You’ll learn how to build dynamic websites, connect databases, handle user inputs, and even launch real apps into the world.
And yes — it’s all beginner-friendly. Step-by-step. Zero fluff.
💼 Will It Help Me Land a Job?
Short answer? Yes. Our bootcamp doesn’t just teach code — it teaches how to work like a real developer.
You’ll build 3–5 real-world projects, work collaboratively using GitHub, and get help with your resume, mock interviews, and portfolio.
Best part? 🧲 100% Job Placement Support. Many of our grads land roles in 12–16 weeks — even if they started from scratch.
🎓 Who Is This For?

What’s the Best Age to Start Training a Puppy?
Bringing home a new puppy is a joyful milestone, but it also comes with a series of responsibilities. Among the most important is helping your pup grow into a well-behaved and confident companion. While it’s easy to get caught up in toys, food, and cute outfits, one crucial decision often puzzles new dog owners: when is the right time to begin Dog Training Collars or behavior guidance?
Getting this timing right can shape your pup’s personality, learning ability, and social skills for years to come.
Tumblr media
Understanding Puppy Development Stages
Puppies grow quickly, and their brains develop just as fast. By the time a puppy is eight weeks old—the age most are brought home—they’ve already started forming impressions about the world. This is why the period between 8 to 16 weeks is often referred to by canine behaviorists as the “socialization window.”
During this critical phase, puppies are more open to new experiences, people, and environments. It’s the ideal time to introduce basic behavioral expectations. Sit, stay, leash manners, and gentle exposure to daily sounds and experiences can begin almost immediately—no harsh commands needed, just calm guidance.
Why Early Habits Matter
The behaviors a puppy develops in its early months often stick well into adulthood. Waiting until they're “older” to start establishing rules might allow bad habits to become engrained. Chewing on shoes, jumping on guests, or excessive barking are all easier to prevent than to correct later.
Consider this: just like children, puppies learn fastest when they feel safe and engaged. Positive reinforcement, gentle correction, and consistency can turn your home into a safe learning environment. Instead of focusing on punishment, think about shaping behavior through structure and encouragement.
Tools and Techniques for New Pup Parents
Every dog is different, and so are their learning styles. While some puppies are eager to please, others can be stubborn or highly energetic. Tools such as clickers, long leads, and treats work wonders when used correctly.
One method that has gained attention in recent years involves modern Dog Training Collars. These are not the harsh tools of the past, but adjustable, humane devices designed to reinforce positive behaviors when used responsibly. They can be especially helpful in safely managing distractions during outdoor walks or teaching recall without risking your dog running off.
It's important to match the tool to the dog's age and temperament—especially for more sensitive breeds or timid personalities.
Tumblr media
Recognizing Unique Challenges in Behavior
Some dogs present more complicated challenges early on, such as territorial barking, resistance to handling, or nipping. In certain cases, these can be signs of underlying temperament traits, rather than just disobedience.
That’s where a deeper understanding of behavioral conditioning becomes useful. This is especially important when working on Dog Training For Aggressive Dogs, which may emerge as early as four months in more dominant or anxious breeds. While these behaviors don’t mean your puppy is doomed to misbehave, they do require more patience and specialized techniques.
In these instances, consulting with a certified behaviorist can ensure that the puppy doesn’t feel fear or punishment, but instead learns trust and structure.
The Role of Play in Early Learning
Training doesn’t have to look like a military bootcamp. In fact, for puppies, some of the most effective learning happens through structured play. Tug-of-war becomes a lesson in impulse control. Hide and seek becomes an exercise in recall. Fetch builds patience, focus, and release cues.
By keeping sessions short, engaging, and upbeat, your puppy is more likely to retain the behaviors and enjoy the process. You become a partner in learning, not a taskmaster—and that makes all the difference.
Socialization: The Overlooked Training Essential
One aspect of early development that often gets overlooked is exposure to the outside world. Whether it’s encountering other dogs, riding in a car, or meeting the mail carrier, socialization helps puppies build confidence and reduce fear-based reactions later in life.
Start by taking short walks, inviting calm dogs over for playdates, or even visiting pet-friendly cafes. These outings expose your pup to the sights, sounds, and smells of the world in a controlled and positive way. That sense of safety becomes the foundation for future adaptability.
When to Seek Professional Guidance
Not every puppy journey goes smoothly. Some may show signs of fear, possessiveness, or overexcitement that becomes difficult to manage. If basic cues like “come,” “leave it,” or “no” aren’t sticking after consistent effort, it might be time to bring in a professional trainer or attend a group class.
Professional guidance doesn’t mean you’ve failed—it means you care enough to help your pup learn in the best way possible. Early guidance, when paired with expertise, can prevent long-term behavioral issues and ensure a happy bond between pet and parent.
Tumblr media
Starting early doesn't mean expecting perfection from a young pup—it means offering guidance, structure, and trust from the very beginning. By focusing on your dog’s natural curiosity, recognizing signs of discomfort or confusion, and using the right tools and timing, you set the stage for a lifetime of good behavior and companionship. Every puppy is a blank canvas, and your early actions become the brushstrokes that shape their future. With patience, love, and intention, you're not just raising a pet—you're building a lifelong relationship grounded in understanding.
