I'm listening to Michael Franti & Rono Tse, otherwise known as The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy right now.

"Hypocrisy Is The Greatest Luxury" is the album I pull out at certain times. Their skill, and their mastery of the language has always floored me.

My hot take on music is that it's getting too short. Songs should not be 2 minutes long that's hurting them. I would rather listen to an hours-long ambient track than a 1-minute tiktok groove. Also, people are fucking freaks about rap and hip-hop. The reason is obvious, it's the racism, but like...so many people dismiss it outright and it's horrid. Get some De La Soul and Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy in your diet. Good Kid m.A.A.d City. Come on.
