ok let me preface this by saying i made the mistake of drawing p1 burda strictly based off their models instead of their portraits lol. p1 daniil model's hair is so fucking terrifying when u draw it actually i did not realise how clapped those microbangs are until i drew them.

tastefully cringe. has made a few people go "bro what the fuck is that" but im blinded by parental affection for these two so i cannot see them as anything but my handsome boys.

@undeserved-halo is one of the Freakblr Original Seven, as sourced from a post made by @sobeksewerrat several months back. This affords them a special status on this blog as apart of a special set of records for The Freakblr Original Seven.

Halo cites that they believe they were one of the first few people to join Freakblr, "I don’t remember there being very many people in the fandom, it was pretty simple tbh. u looked in the tag, there were a few memes, a few headcanons or fics, but generally there weren’t many active blogs." These are the earliest days of Freakblr, before it was even given that name. When TMF content was scarce.

According to Halo, they were able to discover the community through a friend, "around mid 2023 a friend introduced me to gacha club and well it all stemmed from there really 😔." They also stated that they had had a tumblr prior to their entrance to Freakblr, "Until then it was mostly a st fan blog with a few other fandoms"

Ontop of running a multi-fandom blog, and being an involved member in Freakblr from time to time Halo also ran "The Original Jake RP Blog." But according to them, Jake dying ended up being part of the rp lore thanks to that lol." 'That' being the deletion of said blog.

They also ran the TMF Incorrect Quotes blog, which unfortunately succumbed to the same fate.

When asked about any blogs of note in Freakblr, they cited the Freakblr Time Traveler, who unfortunately has gone inactive. The account deleted several months ago. "That time traveler was pretty cool??? freakblr lore goes crazy." Speaking of which, they also noted the Freakblr Lore account, "@freakblr-lore shout out to that blog because honestly someone needed to gather all the. lore. together." They also stated that, "i was pretty close with [@sobeksewerrat,] milo and rhea (b0ytr4sh and xizxles)...during the freakblr peakblr." Halo also cited @cringelordofchaos, another Freakblr Original user, and stated that they were close.

When asked about any enemies they vaguely answered that there were a couple users they disliked, "for no reason either damn i was just a hater." They also mentioned a friendly and "sarcastic" Rivalry with @sobeksewerrat, another Freakblr Original user.

When asked about a memory from Freakblr/that resulted from their place on Freakblr they specifically mentioned, "That one Roblox game was fire. Me and @sobeksewerrat got married there, and it had a broken chat filter so i could say whatever I wanted...it was fun." I believe they could have been referring to the TMF Roleplay game on Roblox that was popular amongst a few users on Freakblr. But at the time of the interview it was unclear and I failed to follow up and confirm this hunch.

When asked about old Freakblr Halo stated, "I think around the end of last year, maybe August to November was Freakblrs peak. we were extremely cringe, yes, but honestly no one cared! I think id like the fandom to go back to how it was." Again citing the time when most Freakblr users considered the fandom to be most active. Like other older Freakblr participants, it's clear there's a sense of longing for the humble beginnings of Freakblr. The era of peak Freakblr shenanigans.

While I personally never got to know Halo well, it is clear they're a vital member of Freakblr. Like other Freakblr Original users, they paved the way for this fandom to grow and flourish on Tumblr. They made several frienships and connections with people through this site and fandom, and helped shape Freakblr into what it is today. It's clear things wouldn't be the same with Halo.

As a final quote to sum up their thoughts and feelings on Freakblr, Halo had this to say:

"Jesus fucking Christ what a beautiful mess this fandom has been."

12. show us an old drawing

I went into some old phone files, here are some drawings from when I was in high-school! Probably grade 10 or 11.. so probably around 17 years old? 🤔

I took many breaks from drawing, I was suprised to find like... not that much art in my folder as you'd think over the span of 7 or so years. I have a lot of regret about the fact my art hasn't improved much since this but I'm making regular effort to learn more and get better!

Gurl, how'd you make your gifs so crisp and clean?! Tell me your secret pretty please!

do you have a specific gifset in mind? because sometimes i use different methods depending on what i’m making gifs of (e.g. animation vs. live action).

but here’s a few things that always help:

1) the most important thing: good quality of the source material, i.e. at least 1080p. sadly youtube compresses even 1080p which makes the quality worse so it’s always my last resort to get stuff from youtube. (looking @ you, kenobi trailer 😔) here’s a good post on t*rrenting

2) use mpv player and make caps instead of importing video frames to layers. here’s a good tutorial on how to do that. i used to only make png caps because the quality’s better but i’ve switched to jpeg because i don’t have the patience to wait ages for the layers to load in photoshop anymore LMAO

3) coloring is sooo important. i can’t give you a magical solution here because i think everyone should find their own style but one thing i almost always do at the end is selective color > black > increase black. that makes the dark spaces less pixel-y and the gif looks less washed out.

4) you can change the opacity on filters. on my old gifs—and it always makes me cringe—the sharpening looks terrible because it’s just too much. you can right click on the smart sharpen filter > edit smart filter blending options, and play around with the opacity a little until it looks nice n smooth

5) if you do have gifs that look pixelated, try adding a ‘surface blur’ smart filter. that’s saved my ass so many times giffing star wars resistance. works best on animation but i’ve used it for live action before. i use these settings and lower the opacity as needed:

(i have no idea what settings are ‘normal’ for the surface blur filter but this works for me lmao)

6) save settings. i mostly use adaptive for the color reduction algorithm and pattern for the dither algorithm. i’d recommend not using diffusion unless you can’t avoid it 😭

but really it depends on the individual gif what looks best. (also: ‘matte: none’ removes that annoying small border around gifs)

I've always thought he did something really stupid (not the MySpace thing) because even after the MySpace thing he hadn't left the group and jyp even went on a show to talk about how he went to america himself to make sure he was practicing his dancing and singing and also said that he was fundamentally a good person then a few months later he was kicked out because of a serious personal issue in his private life or smth.

Like i feel like insinuating that he was gonna come back then kicking him out obviously is going to cause more backlash and is just more work in general then kicking him out straight away soo🤔

The members were alll sad and left his space open during their mama performance, said things like let's walk together and that 2pm is one on some site then deleted because of the hate that they were getting and talked about him during their speech and everythingbut idk the idea that they secretly hated him makes me happy so I wanna know your thoughts

People also genuinely think he knocked up hyuna and while I don't think he did that I do think he either did something in those few months or confessed to something in those few months of "self reflection"

they did giggle when taec said smth like the hip hop guy who isn't with us anymore and junho did call him the dirt that's been filtered or smth like that so I feel like they don't like him atleast

iirc the official story is that he took a hiatus from the group, and then after much discussion w jyp he left the group bc he was unhappy as a kpop artist? which i think is probably true i mean the dude was obviously miserable and as messy as he is nowadays i do think he's happy.

god the rumors abt 2pm bullying him are so funnyyyyy i need to hunt down the article where i read them and read it again lol but i do remember whenever me and my roommate watched that wild bunny episode (after binging soooooo many 2pm fan compilation videos) we were SO shocked by how different and terrible their vibes were aksjdsdkljfflgglhjkl

it really made me realize how much group dynamics are like tetris tbh. like removing that one person made the whole rest of the dynamic fall into place?

like obviously, there is no way to know what their ~real~ personalities were like at the time, because they had just debuted so they all had a persona that they were pushing + a character for that show. but he certainly came across as incredibly immature and irresponsible, and it was frankly rlly uncomfortable to watch......like idk but i think jun.k and nichkhun were genuinely pissed off at him for stealing nichkhun's wallet and ditching them at the karaoke room, going to a club with taec and chansung (who had JUST turned 20), and then not answering the phone. he rlly came across as an older friend who could get you into trouble, but can't get you out.

i also remember the others came across (especially taec) as being "followers", who would just go along with his shenanigans because it was funny or interesting. ofc they were all really young then, and like i said before, this show obvs had set "characters" for them to play, so who knows how accurate my opinion was! but i definitely left that episode feeling very grateful that he left the group, or else he would've gotten them into some real serious trouble.

i think one of the most important aspects of a group's dynamic is their ability to keep each other in check. i think it's important for members to be able to be honest and call each other on their bullshit if they're getting to cocky or arrogant or otherwise becoming an asshole. after all, a kpop group is a brand that you are building together - one person's integrity becomes synonymous with the group's integrity as a whole. that's why scandals are kinda serious business: groups are pushing an image of closeness, ranging from "besties" to "found family". if one member is exposed to be an asshole (or just downright evil, i.e. burning sun) it immediately casts doubt on the other members character and integrity.

i also think that the leader of a group is really influential on the vibe of the group as a whole, and we've seen what a mess jay park is. i think if he had stayed with the group, they would've had a lot more scandals, and had a very negative image as a scandal-ridden group. to be clear, 2pm members HAVE had scandals (incl pretty serious one's, like a couple DUIs), but they've managed to shake them off to have a pretty clean image.

2pm's dynamic as 6 just.....works? like they're fun to watch and it seems like they all genuinely like each other and like working together. i've never really gotten an ~off~ vibe from them, or that they secretly hate each other. especially after seeing them w jay. it just felt wrong and off and uncomfortable. also yeah, i think the whole ordeal of losing a member would naturally create a trauma bond amongst everyone else lol

ik that fans voted jay park the leader bc he got first on their pre-debut show but i have always felt like jun.k should've been the leader the whole time....like again it's hard to know bc wild bunny was obviously very contrived, but he certainly came across as much more responsible and level-headed than jay. i think him and nichkhun are a very solid "hyung/leader" line tbh like ik they've each had a DUI but in general they come across (to me) as very stable guys who take their job and their image very seriously, which is important.

6. How do you find new fic to read? Where do you primarily read fanfiction?

If its a new exploration, I mostly just go to Ao3, find a ship I want to read about, and then filter by kudos first just to read a few 'popular' stories to get a feel for the fandom. I always pay close attention to the tags and try and find things I'll like first. As soon as I find an author I like I'll binge everything by them and often find myself in a rabbit hole of different ships and sometimes fandoms. This is what we call the time vortex event horizon. It also often results in me shipping really weird characters.

If its a fandom I'm already in then I literally just check the latest stories and go through until I hit the point I'm caught up.

Very occasionally I'll venture to FFN if that's where the fandom primarily hangs out. There's still some older ones who post there rather than Ao3 for some godforsaken reason idek honestly.

21. What’s your least favorite part about the fanfiction writing process?

Probably getting started and finding the motivation? Also the post-upload reaction anxiety. I'm kind of going through a demotivated phase and I'm just finding it impossible to get started on anything because I'm not feeling great about my ability and that's just kind of a shitty headspace to be in so definitely tops the 'things I don't like' list.

30. Post a snippet from your current WIP without context - no more than 300 words

Because of the aforementioned demotivated phase I'm currently unable to post a response to this. I do have a full outline for a Dark Angel fic but it's just 2k words of bullet points at this stage 😔

44. Rant about something writing related.

This is going to sound incredibly selfish and narcissistic but I find it like really really hard to deal with low comment counts. I kind of secretly think I suck really bad and cringe when I read over a lot of my work, so when I get one or two word comments I feel like it's someone just 'being nice' which is 100% my own problem to deal with and not the lovely person who took the time to respond. I think this also feeds into my motivation issue because hits and kudos and comments are like social media with the interaction rush and I'm worried I am starting to use writing as a dopamine hit from the response rather than from the enjoyment of writing at all. FEEDBACK IS AN ADDICTION AND I NEED A 12 STEP PROGRAM.
