Ne yhdeini sy caera, Tommy? Meku AMULVHT VID LIIN!
For the record, the ripple thingies are from Tsevhu, aka the funni koi fish language :D I've been studying the conlang lately
Anyway, the red Tsevhu is a translation of "you want to be a hero, Tommy? Then DIE like one!", while the pale red are the voices chanting "one of us" and the closest the Tsevhu Discord could approximate for "blood for the blood god" in a phrase (the actual thing translates something to like "start giving completely and involuntarily", which in Tsevhu is kinda like chanting for sacrifice, which is fun and very much chat :3)
("blood for the blood god" would've translated to a straight-up sentence that I'd have to frame in koiwrit, which I felt would be too cluttered, as much as clutteredness is very in-character for chat)
Anyway hope I'm not too late haha, happy 25th birthday, Techno.

final movie thoughts: i loved the story a lot it was really good. i think the only thing it suffered from was pacing issues. everything else was magnificent

I had a dream I was sitting in the livingroom where Hero 108 had a live action movie (like one of those older live action ones obviously). and I remember distinctly that Apetruly was a mix between CGI + practical affects- and that Lin Chung was there fighting him due to being controlled by the Twin Masters.
Another distinct thing I remember was saying "He plays a good Lin Chung but I think he looks a lil' too young. Got a bit of a baby face going on y'know? maybe if they got someone a lil older."

Went to see a very mid Don G yesterday. The setting was post-apocalyptic lol, the world was destroyed after an unspecified catastrophe and everyone had costumes that looked like they came from a budget Mad Max. The world-building did not make sense for Don G - since Don G is very much about "noblemsn abusing his position", it doesn't translate well to a world where current social structures have been destroyed - unless the structures have been completely replicated? But in this version it was unclear why Don G is noble (is it because he had slightly less gritty clothes?). It could have maybe worked if they did the world-building better imo, but it seems like they just went for the aesthetic, and yet the costumes and set design was too boring to justify it.

I’m pretty sure this costume is going to be traded in for a more traditional look by the end of the movie
The movie originally had the subtitle “Legacy” and features a huge cast of established superheroes, most of whom are not the original versions or are part of their own larger team
The image gives the vibe of an internal conflict as Supes puts on a roughed up suit to deal with a huge world threatening situation in the distance. The suit itself looks very technical, maybe a little over designed tho I think it’ll look better in action, there’s a clear New 52 influence. I think it’s also intended to be somewhat excessive and formal, being originally from Krypton
I think the main thread of the movie is Clark figuring out his purpose, what kind of hero he wants to be, how he wants to represent himself, etc. He’ll seek out the advice/perspectives of different legacy heroes. By the end when he figures out who “Superman” is as a concept, he’ll wear a new suit, his classic comic look, setting the tone for the new continuity

had a dream i was looking at the imdb page for a nonexistant movie that looked cool. NOT FAIR
vandalism on the page made it hard to know what the title was but it was called "hypergogia" (playing on the word hypnagogia) and there was a subtitle along the lines of.. amazing / unusual dream.... idk. fitting bc it was a dream tho.

weird q have you ever watched amadeus the film and/or the play? if so your thoughts?
YES I did watch Amadeus! Pretty soon after I got back from Vienna actually. Well actually that was one of the films our professor told us we should watch before our trip haha.
I mostly liked it! I think I'm just way too much a stickler about language and accents though. Like I can appreciate the story and the actors and everything, but still can't help but be like "wow I wish this was in German," if that makes sense 😭(I couldn't stand Mozart's American accent LOL) But aahhh it was cool to see an actual visual representation of what Vienna was like at that time and what the Emperor's life was like, and or course what Mozart's life was like. I really liked seeing Joseph II! But did you know that it actually wasn't filmed in Vienna? It was filmed in Prague and another Czech city. So I will say that bugged me a bit lmfao, bcs im like hmmm this isn't Vienna.... But otherwise I thought it was great! I just wanted to see more of Joseph II tho sjkflv
(^ speaking of Joseph II. I asked my professor(known Habsburg fanboy) whom his favorite Habsburg is, and he said Joseph II, and internally I was like "Yeah of course you do" LMFAO. I truly was afraid he was gonna pull out some guy I didn't know but now I probably know more specifics than he does)

We don’t talk enough about how good the lace adorning Amidala’s wedding outfit was. Like… that’s good lace (each type conveying something different), and the way it was used completely succeeds in instantly scrambling my “when/where is that from” radar, as intended.
