Oh uh you-know-what AU doc just drop and all I can say is that "great concept poor execution" to put it nicely, you can kind of see where they started to loss interest by the end of the story

Overall 4/10 there was no funk trolls

im only about 15 pages into the doc (sorry. i know i shouldnt read something i know i wont like but you know me. im a dedicated hater) and all ill say is that this is like a master class of what not to do in terms of character design

#ask #for all of you getting your start in character design #99/100 times you want it to Communicate something about the character #especially with tr0lls #anything from 'this character rolls their trousers up but theres already some mud stains on the legs so you know theyre outdoorsy'#to 'theyre rich so theyre wearing super fancy clothes and (almost) always have a haughty expression'#to 'they wear glasses which means theyre a Nerd'#none of these character designs say literally anything about anyone #the closest ive gotten so far is bruce being vaguely love themed #and his colour palette high key sucks anyway. sorry. the hater jumped out again.#anyway im glad they can move on now
