Being an office worker at U&K would be so damn amusing! The amount of tea I'd get everyday like???
Kang Ji Won, the quiet, introverted employee is suddenly a badass, introduced a product that made your company better, she got engaged, then slapped her fiance infront of everyone for cheating on her, broke off the engagement, and turns out her asshole best friend is the one sleeping with her fiance AND SHE'S PREGNANT!!!!
Also, everyone is like 99% sure your uptight strict boss is in love with her.
Also, Mr. Kim finally gets fired for being a dick.
And the HR may or may not be spying on the Boss for the chairman.
There would never be ONE dull day in office my god!

Trigun Manga Reaction
Continuing with Volume 1 - Chapter 2
The double spread of Vash here and the grim history of the planet they're stuck in being contrasted by the title "LOONEY TUNES" is darkly funny ngl.
Then we cut to this?!
I know Vash is flexible and can get into wacky pretzel poses a lot from '98 and a bit less so from Tristamp, but this is something else. Combined with the sound effects, one would think this is a NSFW manga of a different genre.
Nightow loves to use sharp lines and triangle shapes, doesn't he? Not an expert opinion tho. Just something I'm noticing.
Did.. DID HIS HEAD JUST BOUNCE OFF CONCRETE?!!!! BABY GIRL!!!
Ahhh.. Dark humor. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Gremlin Baby Girl Vash using the age old tactic of hide-and-seek: people rarely look up!
I love their dynamic so much which I miss a lot in Tristamp. I mean Roberto-Meryl mentor dynamics was good and the series gave her a good origin, but still... I can't wait to see Milly again.
I think this is manga only, right? I don't remember something like this in '98. Meryl can be silly but it's a different kind of silly. Remembering how in denial she was in '98 about Vash being Vash is funny.
LMAO!!! His face! HIS FUCKING FACE!!!
Ok. So, in terms of art, '98 really gets the manga. TriStamp can be goofy but not to this extent... yet. I think Studio Orange is really doing their best to maximize 3D animation in replicating silly anime/manga expressions. They did it during the Jeonora Looney Toons Chase and a bit when Wolfwood was flyswatted by Meryl with a van. Maybe there'd be more next season (?)
Ok. Remember this from '98.
"WHOSE IDEA WAS IT TO USE THE GRENADE?! HE CAN'T BE IDENTIFIED FOR THE REWARD IF HE'S PILE OF PULP, YOU DUMBASS!!!"
The trials these insurance ladies have to go through. OMFG. And this is just the start!
Oh... I can print this into a bookmark actually.
Oh. This is very different from '98. But between a bandit or a mob, Meryl and Milly have better luck making a bandit listen to what they have to say. Also, swapping a megaphone with dozens of doughnuts here won't improve matters either.
Meryl and Milly's anime counterparts had it easy at first. They had a trial run! Poor Manga Meryl and Milly didn't get that at all!
A black cat in these despairing times?
Ok... This was a bit later in '98... I think.
But I think TriStamp followed the manga's line of events more closely.
Wow... There'll probably more of these but the double spreads in this manga are always good.
Badass Ladies in longcoats!
What else is there to say about them? They're mad and they know how way over their heads this situation is, but they do their job anyway.
LOOK HOW THEY CRUMPLED THE CHAIRMAN LIKE A TISSUE PAPER!!!
Sigh... A terrible sight it is. This is the third iteration I've seen. It's the same old thing just in another coat of paint I've missed until now. This is tiring and frustrating as a reader/watcher.
While these people do show a bit of remorse because they acknowledge how nice Vash is and the story makes it clear that this was a last resort, it's practically a flimsy band-aid on a bleeding fatal wound.
Oh fuck. Was this number also mentioned in '98?! I can't remember.
But fifty?! Oh, Vash...
And he can't even cry to mourn his sisters...
And another incredible spread in here. Is this style just a Nightow thing? Two pages split into three sections of narrow-wide-narrow? I don't know the correct term. However, it seems to show up a lot. Trying to remember if other mangas I've read does the same...
Ooof. This was not easy on the eyes and it took a while for me to understand what happened. When I did tho... Oof... Vash Baby Girl.. Ow...
However... I know anime physics means character can bend their body like pretzels easy peasy, but what if Vash and Nai just have cartilage in place of bones? Or would that be just weird? All I can think about it '98 Wolfwood bending and twisting Vash 180 degrees during their first meeting.
Wait... What if Wolfwood's bones have been turned into just cartilage too during the experiments? No... These do not make sense!!!
And here it is again! Two pages split into three: narrow-wide-narrow.
AHAHAHA. MILLY NOOO LET MERYL BREATHE!
#trigunbookclub#trimax journey#this was fun and again i can see how the two animes reworked this chapter in their own unique ways#however the meryl-milly dynamic seems to have more oomph here tho#i love them so much#even tho i already have a general idea how the story would go thanks to the animes AND the spoilers i got when i googled the manga#reading this is still exciting!#looking forward to the next chapter!

I'm a big fan of gouenji's friends putting him down the pedestal they placed him in the more years they know him.
At some point, they're going to realize he was just an ordinary guy with a lot of issues like them (prob even more) who is not always right and who finds it even harder to reach out because he doesn't like being perceived and doesn't like bothering others and believes that his problems were nothing compared to everyone's.
Of course, he also has this ego that prevents him from recognizing that he actually has a layered issue regarding being seen as "weak" too a bit different from what fudou or kidou have but takes the form of him having the want to only show his best in a way that he thinks would result in the least consequences for everybody involved (it doesnt tho). This reached an extreme to the point that he masks the perfect persona for the specific need of a specific activity... (something that i think was the reason he knows he can pull off ishido and why he's slightly different as the chairman)
In any case, they realized that Gouenji's only way of coping is by doing extremes that would kill anyone mentally if they were doing that for that long but for reasons just makes Gouenji seem badass in everybody's eyes. Succeeding on what he puts his mind to do make Gouenji happy and satisfied but sometimes they feel like the satisfaction he felt was more about him being able to serve someone so that they could continue believing in him and less about what he actually feels. It's really not easy to know because he's used to nobody worrying about him and likes appearing like that there's nothing that you should worry about him, it is something he unintentionally mastered.
Endou was the first to see that Gouenji's training and the reason he works so hard to go above and beyond everybody's expectations all the time is so he would not bother anyone and that conforming to the expectations of the people he treasures the most is his way of survival; it's keeping him alive inside somehow....
So, starting from Endou, everybody follows... because the more time you spend with him the more you'll see him tired... and take off the mask. And the more comfortable he is with you, the more he talks and takes his guard down.
And at some point (basing this on the last talk he had with senguuji at least), Gouenji did realize that he finally find kindred souls that he can show all of his sides to and still would love to be his friend. unconditionally.
#oh i forgot at some point where i was going w this sorry abt that#inazuma eleven go#inazuma eleven#inazuma eleven go galaxy#gouenji shuuya#axel blaze#lore talks abt ie

🍈 & 🍒! :)
🍈 Who’s your blorbo and what are some of your favorite headcanons/ideas about them that repeatedly show up in your fics? Free pass to rant about blorbo opinions.
Alec Lightwood doesn't know what to do with praise but he blossoms like a flower when Magnus gives him some. I repeatedly mention Alec in baths for whatever reason, Magnus has converted him to the joys of a hot soak. The Chairman likes Alec more than Magnus was expecting and he is absolutely the alpha of their friendship. Alec is okay with this. Alec is mastery level with a five-arrow bow and occasionally when someone has to pull up a Clave records roster Alec's on there with like two other people max. It's a weapon that doesn't come up loads but when it does other Shadowhunters notice. It gets Alec unexpected badass points, especially when he's HOTI and newbies see him fighting less. Alec likes watching Magnus make potions. I could go on, lol
🍒 What’s your favorite character dynamic to write? (Can be romantic or platonic, specific or general!)
I really love when one character is protective of another. It doesn't have to be romantic, friend/sibling/parent - all great too. The threat is real, the threat is only in the protector's head, I'll protect you from yourself, emotional, physical - perfection. Love it. I assume you are not surprised ;)
Thank you!

As I said in the end of my last piece of grumbling and groaning, the one great thing about this chapter—and one of the few good things in the whole book—is Clary finally getting in tune with her Shadowhunter senses and her training coming to fruition. And as I said also in the end of said piece of grumbling and groaning, everything else in this chapter is horrible and, frankly, gross.
We left the last chapter with a cliffhanger of demons attacking the Team Evil, so a not-so-enticing-as-per-usual battle ensues.
At this point Clary has studied and trained enough that she doesn’t need to justify her knowledge of Elapid demons from seeing an illustration sometime and somewhere. It also takes away from the urgency of the fight. Similarly to Clary fighting the Ravener in City of Bones.
The writing constantly tells and reminds the readers of how it is Jace who trained her. Alec does that too on his end (City of Glass, for instance), so leave this part out. I’m sure Clary has practiced enough by now so she can just throw it without constantly bringing Jace into this.
They kill the demons, Clary is a badass warrior now, and they secure the chunk of adamas. Well done, folks!
Cut to Simon and Isabelle arriving to Magnus’ living room.
So many characters in this book “pad” somewhere.
→ “He padded off to the kitchen” (Magnus) → “He padded off toward the kitchen” (Magnus, again leaving for the kitchen after skidding into the living room) → “padding back into the bedroom” (Clary) → “as he padded past her, barefoot, and down…” (Sebastian) → “He kicked his shoes off by to door and padded as quietly as he could…” (Alec)
They are ready to answer Azazel and summon him back. Jordan and Maia are also present.
What were the rules demon activity again? They can infiltrate the Earth through the cracks in the wards. Also most likely a nod to Magnus’ father being a Greater Demon, but did it say anywhere that the Greater Demons can only be summoned? That otherwise they cannot enter the Earth? Why though?
(Leviathan did not fit for his size but the rest are pretty much human-shaped. The new incarnation of Belial just appears on his own accord. And Azazel could not fully appear since he is physically trapped to a rock in some dimension.)
Magnus warns Jordan from stepping into the pentagram: Summon a demon and trap it in a pentagram, and it can’t get out to harm you. But step into the pentagram, and you’ve put yourself in the demon’s range of power —” And basically few paragraphs later:
→ It’s good that Simon can recognize that it’s Isabelle’s voice out of all the men, her, and Maia. Unlike Clary.
Simon has stepped into the pentagram while trying to catch Chairman Meow, and we are reminded of what was basically said on a previous page. No need. No thanks. We remember and understand the gravity of the situation without this.
→ …even Magnus looked unsettled. [paragraph division] There was a tap on Simon’s shoulder.
Azazel takes the opportunity to grab Simon.
If all is avenged sevenfold, Azazel didn’t really try or intend to do anything to Simon since all that happened was him being thrown backwards. Nice subtlety, since the writing generally is completely incapable of it.
→ Clary also makes belated realizations in the beginning of the chapter with the Elapid demons. How about use other words or phrasing.
Azazel then gets scared of the Mark of Cain on Simon and leaves on his own accord. Cut to Team Evil. Jace is helping Clary heal and clean up after the fight with the Elapid demons.
Which begs the question: Can Shadowhunters use mundane pharmaceuticals? Do they have any effect if the Shadowhunter is runed (obviously Clary wasn’t before)?
Hoped you liked it as much as fighting together with your parabatai, someone that was actually supposed to be of use in battles.
They clean up, Clary gets new clothes and the team Evil leaves to celebrate the seizing of the adamas.
Cut to Team Good who are considering summoning an angel, you know, for change. Magnus tells Simon about the prophetic dream of blood and destruction and blah while others are cleaning up the mess left by the summoning of Azazel.
I don’t think this point is recognized enough. But Simon just keeps being happy to sacrifice it all to Clary no questions asked.
The Team Evil arrives at the place of their celebration, Kosti Lustr or The Bone Chandelier.
And thank goodness you explained it all.
→ Clary shivered. Easy is the descent into Hell.
That’s all you need.
And we jump back with the Team Good because why not constantly change to point of view. Simon and Isabelle discuss the summoning of Raziel.
Which makes Simon the best of them all and consistent with his character that has had the ability to see the greater picture when needed. Mostly it’s about Clary and sacrificing for Clary, but as I said, when needed. He is also the only one who can do it and not die, so there’s that.
→ Also why Jace is the paragon of bravery here? As if there was a question of Simon otherwise being a coward.
I like the quote from ASoIAF: “Bran thought about it. 'Can a man still be brave if he's afraid?' 'That is the only time a man can be brave,' his father told him.”
It is what it is, sis. This is the result of Jace and Clary’s lies and secrecy and now other people have to pay for it. None of this would’ve happened if Clary and Jace were honest in the first place, but they never go far enough to note that. Clary and Jace are protected from anger, contempt, and enmity people might feel because they are now in this situation because of them, basically.
Not that Sebastian wouldn’t raise hell anyway, but Jace wouldn’t have been susceptible to Lilith in the first place, Lilith wouldn't have been able to lure Jace and so Simon in to raise Sebastian back to life, and then Jace wouldn't have been gone as a puppet to Sebastian—then Clary with them—if there wasn’t this huge secret they were keeping. Especially when the writing never justified the secret anyway. These characters don’t need to hate Jace or Clary, but they also don’t feel anything human or negative towards them because of their decisions.
Back to the bone party.
It’s all so performative.
No. Just no. We’re not doing any more of these “only Jace” things. Even if it’s through Clary’s eyes, because it implies that eeeveryone else in this whole existence looks like a fucking moron. And that is rude and a lie. And makes Clary's character all the more unlikable.
Unintentionally hilarious image of Clary just spinning around. What Clare is worse at that writing fighting scenes is writing people dancing. This actually makes me almost appreciate the fighting scenes.
The spine…
Angel girl is no more acceptable than angel boy.
What about names mothers choose? Are the faeries also patriarchal bastards for no reason?
So Sebastian has a secret meeting with Meliorn while Clary and Jace are going at it again. Clary then has a bad trip and sees scary things and faints because that is just the perfect way to end this terrible chapter.

random thoughts about strong girl nam soon, episode five (pt 1)
(read more because i always get carried away lol and this post might contain spoilers)
hopefully nam soon will be more efficient at being discreet. Even though i don't count on it
i just realized there are eleven episodes left after i finish this one so i kind of understand why it took some time to introduce the villain and develop the story.
I still can't believe the chief of the diu team put the dr*g in his mouth. I think the writers decided to do that because when the chief d1es, the charges against doogo will be heavier and he'll be incriminated for longer. But anyway, it still doesn't make sense that someone who's worked for such a long time in a diu team went and made a rookie mistake, especially given the fact that the whole team saw the effects it had on the two victims of said dr*g. Talk about lack of creativity. I would've understood if he went to the hospital to, let's say, visit a family member and then they gave him the fatal mask. That would have made a lot more sense a lot but no, they chose something so stupid even a rookie would have thought before doing such a thing. Oh and let's not forget how hee sik told him SECONDS BEFORE how the drug works. Talk about impulsive thoughts.
Sorry i'm very disappointed by such reckless behaviour from someone who should know better.
I know i've said nam soon is doing a terrible job at laying on the down low but i do appreciate her enthusiasm. She has lead a pure life, rid of bad intentions so she is adamant on catching the villain and stopping the k1lling of so many victims.
Hee sik being stunned by her super powers is hilarious. He's seen it before but he doesn't know the extent of it. By the end of the drama, he'll just be so impressed he'll become numb to it.
The bells ringing whenever his heart flutters over nam soon.
Nam soon running with hee sik in her arms adds a lot of fun to this moment. He's already become numb to it.
The veins on the ryu si o's arms and back. He's the first experiment of his own drug. I don't know how the makeup/vfx artists did it but it's a really good job. The veins don't look fake.
I'm sorry but hwang geum ju is so badass and elegant at the same time. How does she do that? And the fact she's riding a motorcycle? She's catwoman!!!
who's following hwang geum ju? It's the guy who gave her the opulentia card.
I'm wondering why she revealed her identity so quickly. I mean it could have been dangerous. But we don't know if she gave her identity when signing up to the opulentia site. Or did she need to create an account? Anyway if I were her, I would've kept my helmet on. Would have worked better for the undercover mission.
The vice chairman of opulentia, i wonder if it's his real voice because it sounds like one of those voices you hear when taking a TOEIC exam for example. It just threw me off. Also it looks like they asked him to speak very slowly and to articulate every word when talking in english. I don't know but it's weird. It doesn't sound natural is what I'm trying to say. If that's really how the man speaks, i would like to apologize.
Hwang geum ju's smile when she understood she shares the same goals as the opulentia vc. She finally found someone of "elite" status who wants to do good and not just keep earning money and keeping it to themselves. And i think that's a very beautiful thing to see that she's no longer alone in her quest to make the world a better place. She really found someone she wants to associate herself with.
Cute! They're now officially a team.
Hee sik using any excuse to be with nam soon. We know what you're trying to do. I just appreciate all the little details the show gives us to drop hints that they're going to be a couple by the end of the drama.
Talking about hwang geum dong, they chose the perfect actor to play him because he has this tired look on his face already and he mastered the art of using it to his advantage.
Ever since she literally fell on top of hee sik, nam soon's heart doesn't have as much space for her kpop idols. Accurate representation of kpop stans when they get a real life partner lmao
#there will be a part two because i wrote a lot today#ah this drama sure makes me passionate#random(al) thoughts#kdrama#strong girl nam soon

The kink closet in question belongs to the former chairman of the bank, now deceased. Due to a series of plot reasons, his wife's dog, Mr. Fusspot, ends up as the major shareholder and therefore becomes the new chairman of the bank. Taking care of Mr. Fusspot falls upon an ex-conman who has been successfully blackmailed into slowly using his talents to revitalize half the public services of the city. Somehow, the dogsitter's ordeal in this book could arguably be considered a sideplot, because while he is busy making sure no one from the very much legal Guild of Assassins gives Mr. Fusspot a one-way ticket to dog heaven, his badass wife is the one dealing with the more plot relevant bits. Oh, forgot to mention that part of the dire state of the bank is due to the former chairman allocating some of its funds to buy sex toys (on top of the usual financial crimes). After the kink closet gets blown up and Mr. Fusspot gets hold of a vibrator, he uses it to propose to a semicloseted werewolf cop (the one currently dating the above mentioned Carrot). The dog spends most of the remainder of the book refusing to let go of the vibrator. Which the narrative has to keep acknowledging. And I haven't even mentioned that the dogsitter's name is Moist because it's unrelated to everything else going on, but I also had to mention it. One of the main messages of the book revolves around how the concept of money is just a fantasy we've all agreed on. The criticisms present in this fantasy book about the corrupt and mismanaged banking system of Ankh-Morpork, which is what the plot of the book is about, might appear to the unaware reader directly inspired by the financial crisis of 2008, except the book predates it. Because Pratchett was that good.
I wouldn't call Pratchett's writing unhorny. He's just a tease. He absolutely loves to imply that horny things are happening just offstage where you can't see. Discworld is soaked in love and sex, but the books are about one guy trying to solve a dwarf murder.
I think one of my favorite jokes he ever makes is the timeskip where it's implied that Carrot learns what sex is.
#and if you wanna start with any Moist books start with Going Postal#the name will grow on you don't worry

*Spoiler Alert* Solo Leveling Ep. 21 Review
I can hardly contain myself! This episode was soooo compelling! Jin-woo closed one chapter of his journey, and began another one, as so many fun and exciting little tidbits they teased us with gave us everything to look forward to!
First... he finally reached his primary goal, the pinnacle of all of his hard work, the thing he'd been searching for all this time after realizing it was the one element that could save his mother.
Not only that, he got SIX of them! We'll see what advantages that will afford him later...😁🥰
The amount he received was based on his intelligence level, so I'm curious to know how high that number could've gone since Jin-woo, as we know, is HIGHLY intelligent!
He was before the re-awakening, but he is even moreso now with the levels he's been rising to,
though he was concerned about it. And the reward he chose:
... Shadow Exchange ...
That had me geeking out so hard. Its such a BADASS power that will just add so much more DRIP to his WOO. 🖤
I'm so very proud and happy for him that he received his rewards for all of his hard work. This alone was enough to make me wanna shed tears.
Then, we got KAISEL!!
He headed straight to the person he should have:
Mom.
And … goodness... this scene:
Its one of the most beautiful in this story imo, seeing Jin-woo, the phenomenal power that he has become, so vulnerable and so perfect.
Ah... what a tremendous character he is.
The way he flashed back to his childhood, remembering a mistake he made so very long ago, one that he obviously still feels regret and remorse for, then recalling his struggles through his fights that he overcame to get to this moment. It was so very touching.
He showed up at the hospital the second he received the Elixir, his clothes ripped and torn, his body battered, his nails chipped... he looked down at his hands, his shaky, trembling hands, as they held his mother in one and the bottle in the other.
And then he did it. He healed her.
My baby, my baby, my sweet, strong, loving, scary, powerful, compassionate, baby... I was so worried they'd cut this, or even just cut it short, but they gave us all the feels and I'm SO GLAD!! OMG. I melted. Just as I did when I read it.
Talk about a great man. A character that will fight tooth and nail, LITERALLY, for the safety and well-being of his family, he's perfection. And as hopeless of a romantic as I am, these stories are just the best for me.
So... MOST of his family is back together, and now that we've overcome an enormous obstacle, we get down to the next order of serious business, right? Heeheehee!!!
Seeing these guys together was just so thrilling! I did my happy little girl dance in my seat as I watched.
S-Ranks from Japan are getting involved with Korea, joining forces against the threat of ants growing in strength.
And the way our starboy Jin-woo made a huge impression on everyone, even before he got the chance to introduce himself, was just crazy. Just look at hiiiimmmm! 💜😍💜
As I mentioned in my previous review, the issue with the ants is finally being addressed seriously, building up to the highly anticipated Jeju arc that so many of us are just freaking out about!
Among the characters that make me smile almost every time I see them, Baek, Choi, Woo, and Chairman Go...
… going forward, we'll be introduced to some DOPE new characters (including Baek's bestie, Min Byung-Gu) that I just cant WAIT to see in action, especially this guy, our all American buddy...
Thomas Andre. Heh heh... 🤭
They really gave us another phenomenal episode today, leaving us on the cliffy-est of hangers, waiting for an opportunity to see this mini-Epic battle between the S-Ranks of Korea and Japan ...
Gaaaaah!! So EXCITING!
I wonder if you can guess how this is gonna go down?
Hahahaha!
I have a strong feeling that the final episode of this fantastic season is gonna be the arrival of one of our favorite soldiers...🐜💜
OH ... MY ... GOD!!! Y'all it's finna be LIT🔥🔥!!!
I. Cannot. Wait!😁

One Pound Gospel - Episode 6
It's nice that they're finally allowing Sister Angela to be a bit more silly now that she's confessed her feelings. Now that she's basically given her consent to be pursued, she comes off more as a tsundere than as a harassed woman lol.
Notes:
The new opponent is pretty hilarious. I liked his goofy nature in the practice ring and at the ramen shop. Also...buying an apple just to crush it in your hands? Amazing. (I feel that naming him "Tiger" is kinda sus though...is it cuz Thai sounds like Ti-ger?)
Angela hallucinating Kosaku everywhere was a great comedy bit as was her "training" with Millie to ward off her thoughts about him. Girl is down bad...
Ueda trying to get Katsumi to box because "it will make the Chairman happy" was kind of depressing. His mom's only going to approve of him if he follows her dream? I feel like the plot is going in a direction where Katsumi will eventually become a boxer, but I wish it wouldn't. If he doesn't want to do it, he shouldn't have to force it.
Angela boxing was amazing 😂 I don't care if it didn't happen in the manga, let Angela be a badass!
I will say, it does suck hard that Angela is being forced to live for Kosaku's dream. With manga!Kosaku things were at least a little more balanced since he was invested in Christianity too. (Or maybe he just made that up to hang out with Angela, IDK lol)
The breakfast Angela made looked hella yummy. I need some potato salad in my life now.
That playground Kosaku brought Angela to was next level! I wish my childhood playgrounds had trains, wtf?
More stereotypical stuff with Tiger, being from a huge, poor family and Kosaku attempting to speak to him in broken English for some reason.
Why they gotta make the opponents so wholesome and sympathetic though? It's hard for me to root for Kosaku when they're fighting for a noble cause...(not really saying they shouldn't do it, this is just a me having too many feels problem 😭)
I felt like Kosaku looked especially handsome in this episode. I think it's because we got a lot more "soulful" looks from him rather than his usual genki energy
I was pretty disgusted by the Chairman's reaction to Katsumi's bullying. Not only does she tell him to "just beat them up!" (questionable) but she says she's embarrassed to have a son like him!? Huuuh? Later they laugh it off like "oh, she's such a shitty mom!" lol. At least they admitted it, I guess. I can somewhat relate because my grandma is really mean and always has been and we just kinda go "ohhh you" at this point.
Kosaku and Angela go running after Katsumi, but I feel like Ueda should have gone instead? He was so invested that it felt weird for him to stay behind. At least he got to make some stew I guess.
Both ending scenes with Kosaku and Angela were very sweet. She's really the queen of mixed signals though lol
Katsumi didn't really stand up to the bullies in the end but he sorta became the class clown instead? I guess that's a strategy...
Sudden drama between Ueda and his dad! That cemented this as the "crappy parents" episode in my mind.
I like the new angle of Kosaku being Angela's first real family. Makes things a little more impactful (in the manga she wasn't an orphan lol).

Fish Tape: The Ultimate Sidekick for Smooth Wire Pulling
Yo, are you into electric works? Do you dig all of the cool gear used inside the discipline? Well, then you definitely are in for a deal with this blog. We're gonna communicate about fish tape, that badass device that makes an electrician's life less complicated. Fish tape is like your nice buddy, guiding you via intricate spots and helping you pull wires like a pro.
So, what exactly is fish tape?
Basically, fish tape is a skinny, bendy strip product of nylon or steel. It's designed especially to help electricians pull wires through tight and hard-to-attain places. You can discover fish tape in special lengths and sizes, making it fantastic flexible and handy for all styles of electric jobs.

But how does fish tape work?
It's pretty easy, my pal. You simply attach one stop of the twine to the tape and start pulling it thru those hard regions. The tape is all bendy, so it could without difficulty maneuver around corners, obstacles, and tight spots. Once you attain your destination, you could use the fish tape to tug the twine again, saving you time and effort.
Fish tapes come in diverse lengths and widths, catering to exceptional wishes. No count number how complicated the electric project is, you could anticipate fish tape to get the process carried out like a chairman.
Let's explore the benefits of using Fish tapes:

Oddworld: Conar’s Ambition, Chapter 13, Draft 1, Part 8
“You’re sayin’ getting a time-out is like getting smacked around and shot?!”
“You ever hear of Slig Soup?”
“Slig Sou— what?”
“Yeah, why do ya think you only get the badass Sligs watchin’ over ya? They make sure the rest get the can pretty quick. Well, after the firing, of course.”
Conar made a sound somewhere between a grunt and a laugh.
“Mama always said we’d either be useful or tasty.”
“Oh my Odd,” Slim gasped.
“Yeah… it’s not great.”
“So, what now?” Slim asked. “I can’t imagine you’d be able to go back after all this.”
Conar said nothing, taking an intense interest in his Pime. His shaking hand went across Chairman’s side. What could he say? Mama Skillya was probably pissed, and he had nothing left to prove her wrong. Hell, what chance did he have to even reach Zeb, let alone rob him?
“What kind of question is that?” he finally demanded. “Once we’re… Once I’m rich enough, Mama’ll have to welcome me back! Especially once I get the best gun out there with my funds!”
“And… what about me?”
Conar finally looked up from his meal. Slim’s face was hard to read, with his large eyes remaining neutral.
“Well, I figured freedom was a great bit of payment,” Conar said, “but… would you wanna cut when we finally get Zeb?”

This lady here is an absolute badass. She was the wife of Lord William Perrie, Chairman of the Harland & Wolff shipyards. *She was the first female Justice of the Peace in Belfast, *She fundraised 200,000 pounds for the building and running of a 300 bed hospital and later financed the hospitals radium cancer treatments.
*Against what was the norm of the time, she was very involved in her husbands work, joining him on business trips and spending time at the shipyard, getting to know the managers and workers, and worked evenings with her husband on financial planning and engineering designs.

Viscountess Margaret Montgomery Carlisle Pirrie, Lady Mayoress of Belfast (1896–1897) Hubert von Herkomer (1849–1914) Belfast City Hall
