Scott Bradley forever ruined me. I've been searching for a performance for Franz Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 better than the one he gave me in "The Cat Concerto" and I can't find one... God bless this man! Many people started to learn music because of him.

The more I watch this, the more I realize what a jerk Jerry can be in this franchise.
All Tom wanted to do throughout this episode was perform his concerto. But Jerry had to mess him up because he disturbed him in his sleep. Why was he living in a piano anyway? How is he not used to people using it?
With this and the Sabrina episode from The Tom and Jerry Show, I think I like it better when Tom is the one who comes out victorious in certain scenarios. And just like with that episode, I like to believe THIS is the whole short.

a short placing heavy emphasis on Hungarian Rhapsody No. II is a rite of passage for golden age cartoons. Bugs Bunny did it! Tom and Jerry did it! Daffy and Donald! but one thing Woody Woodpecker has above the competition is that he is held hostage by a group of gangsters and is forced to entertain, lest he get executed. amazing
