I was rewatching the Boys Night Out Job for the umpteenth time and I finally registered something. This isn’t really shown in the actual episode, but Nate must have had a hell of a reaction to finding out Sister Lupe was smuggling cancer drugs into the US

“Do you know how expensive cancer drugs are in this country for people without health insurance?” Oh yes. Nate knows. He knows what happens when families can’t afford treatment for cancer

in the lonely hearts club job leverage asks the question "does romantic love exist?" and answers it by having eliot buy parker a venus fly trap on hardison's behalf, expecting no recognition and revealing eliot remembers a throwaway comment parker made on their second job together.
