rotating henry emily in my mind
#clarifying now that this is abt the games#the fandom at large is missing out on henrys character i think and its such a shame#bc he + his dynamic with william are sososo interesting#like this isnt abt anyone specific but it seems like most people portray him as just another parent that lost a kid (but Plot Relevant)#but the thing is. he was completely complicit in the missing childrens incident. he wasnt actively helping william or anything#but he KNEW it was him From The Beginning. he KNEW william was a threat. but the only time he ever said anything was To William Directly.#we dont talk enough abt the candy cadet story about the boy and the snake. or the “bear of vengeance” cutscenes.#that is will and henry. that is Very Directly What Happened in 1985.#in a lot of theories (coughgametheorycough) its stated that henry kicked william out. except william left on his own.#henry was upset with him yes he tried to confront him yes but he could NEVER kick him out.#the boy could not bear to get rid of the snake#and all of that is. so much more compelling than henry being demoted to the sidelines.#rrghfgrgrrh anyway. ask me about. fnaf.#fnaf#five nights at freddy's#henry emily

Cuddly Mood
Synopsis: One where Harry comes home from work to his girl being clingy. He ain't complaining.
More of my work
Harry had told his girl to not wait for him for dinner as he would be late, and that she should to go to bed. Basically not wait up for him as he got work.
He was working late at night on some new music. Not essentially planning to write a whole new album just yet, he just wanted to het these new out and into production and see how things go from there for him and his new future projects.
YN understood where he came from. She's an artist too after all. She sometimes want to spend all day and night, in her studio painting and work on this one piece of art which would not budge off her head until it was out. She's had those days and Harry's always been respectful and supportive of her.
But she wanted to be selfish today and hold him back and cuddle him all day. Well, she could barely bring herself to do that because he was so excited about this new song he had in his mind. Or melody? Or a rhythm? Or a beat? She doesn't quite know how music works.
This afternoon Harry got ready to leave for studio after he'd returned from gym, all showered up and dressed up. He wore a pair black washed jeans a simple white tshirt, which she likes to steal from him some times. He took a hoodie with him incase he's cold, which he always is at the studio.
He's been going to gym religiously now, so he's been more muscley and big, he's still his shy self which makes him like her giant human cuddle bear. Especially with his instincts of him wanting to hold her and make her feel safe. Oh boy, did that make her all mushy!
She just wanted cling on him all day and take a big fat nap. But she had to let him go for few hours.
But she still deserves his undivided attention, especially when he's back from a long tour and will be going back very soon.
She's a night owl, Harry knows it. So when he came back home to her place, he found her dusting her furniture around. She's like her cat, who likes to zoom around at three in the morning.
And it was three in the morning when he came back!
"Hi, angel!" He chirps as he locked the door behind him. "What are you doing up so late baby?" Dropping his stuff on the sofa he walked upto her, snaking his arms around her tummy he pulled her close to him, placing a chaste of kisses on her neck and back of her head. She melted in his embrace.
Exactly what she craved all day!
"I'm not sleepy." She mumbled.
"You need to fix that sleep schedule of yours, angel, it's not healthy." He expressed his concerns, "no coffee for you after three in the afternoon!"
"Hey!" She whined.
"Yes!" He argued back. "You wanna go to bed now?"
"Yeah," she agreed.
Harry was changing out of his clothes. He took off his hoodie and shirt, and got rid of his pants.
On rare nights his boxers and basketball shorts stayed on and today was one of them. His girl doesn't mind, there is nothing she haven't seen. He doesn't feel insecure around her anymore and does she, which is amazing!
"Harry?"
"Hmm?"
"Can I have your hoodie?" She asked.
"Yeah, which one do you want baby?" He asked, changing into a different pair of boxers.
"The one you wore today?"
"Aren't you going to be hot, angel?" He enquired, because it was getting warmer and he doesn't want her to layer up.
"No, I'll just wear that and nothing underneath." She explained.
"You sure about that?" He asked, just to be sure.
"Mhmm."
"Alright strip down!" Harry smirked cheekily. He was all done dressing half decent, he took two strads towards where she was stood in the bathroom, applying her moisturiser.
Her sleep shirt caught onto her earrings as she was taking it off. "Ouch!"
"Be careful there!" He stepped in and carefully untangled the shirt from her earring. "You okay?"
"Yeah!" She nodded. Harry smiled and carefully pulled the neckhole of his hoodie (which is now both of theirs to share!) over her head, before his hands travelled behind her back to unhook her bra. He slipped his off but not before taking the opportunity to have a quick feel of her breasts, run his hands over her delicious tummy rolls towards her hips. "Stop it tickles!"
"Yeah?" He teased her, tickling her more under her breasts.
"Stop!" She laughed holding onto his wrists tightly. He stopped and helped her put her arms through the sleeves.
"My favourite!" He commented on her wearing her "cute set" of underwear, which were a pair of pastel green granny panties with french fries on them.
They're adorable okay!
"Stop tickling me, I've missed you enough all day!" She pouted feeling his hands wander down to her bum, trying his best to tickle her.
He gasped, "I need to make up for it, don't I?" With that he threw her over his shoulder as he brought her back out to their room and carefully placed her on their shared bed. "Why didn't you call me then if you missed me so much?"
"I did not felt like wanting to disturb you while you worked." She explained as he peppered her face with sloppy and wet kisses.
"You can never disturb me!" He exclaimed quietly, "could have worked on that song later. Next time just tell me, okay? I'd prefer to spend time with you!"
"Mhmm! I will." She agreed, "now kiss me?"
"Gladly!" With that he placed his mouth on hers, giving her a tender kiss. "I've missed you too today! Wrote a song about you and us."
"You did?" She was so surprised even though he tells her when a song is inspired by her. It still manages to surprise her, thinking she can be a muse to someone's art when it's always been the other way around for her. He always finds new things about to sing in his songs.
Where as he's always been muse of her art!
"Yeah, wrote about how much I love you, and how I wanna be with you for as long as you want me!"
"I want you forever!"
"Forever, yeah?" He rested his forehead on hers.
The next few minutes he spent talking about the song and loving on her until she fell asleep, snuggled close to his bare chest.
He'd never enjoyed being a big spoon in his life!

"Why would she ask that?" He hadn't intended to voice the thought. Had realized he did until-
"Ask what?" The computer probed frustration pouring from it's voice. Zim shouldn't have opened his mouth. But the irken was oblivious to the mechanical arms obvious struggle to remove GIR from his wires.
"Nothing. No one asked anything."
A deep sigh came from the machine. He flinched as an arm snaked quickly towards him. He wasn't expecting the gentle pat it gave his forehead. Well as gentle a head pat a cold mechanical arm could give.
"You never just rest."
Zim looked towards the ceiling confused at the shift in attitude.
"There's no reason to. An idle irken is a worthless irken. Rest is earned. And unnecessary."
"You contradicted yourself. And I disagree on all accounts. Rest is amazing. It used to be one of my favorite things. You should give it a try."
A pillow was dropped on top of him earning a surprised yelp. Once he's regained his bearings a blanket had already been wrapped around him.
"Computer!" The arms readjusted the pillow and toppled him over onto it mid shout. He pouted into the fabric, before the fight drained out of him.
"Just try to stop thinking. Let yourself sleep."
He couldn't though. The first not the second. He thought about the Red and Purple and how he always fucked everything up. His mistakes repeated over and over in his mind. And he thought about Gaz and their dinners and the stupid human boy who actually respected him. Saw him as the threat her tried to be. Not the failure he really was.
The question hurt. It hurt so much. He wanted to say yes. But if he did what would that mean about him mission. About all the effort he'd put into win them back.
Some part of knew it was fake from the beginning. Something thought up on the spot to get rid of him. A mercy of not putting their real feelings into words. Purple had already. He'd made himself clear and that was before what happened to Spork. Red though. He felt guilty. He used Zim. Feigning ignorance the one time Zim willingly took the blame. The one time it wasn't actually his fault.
But a large part of was desperate to fix things. Partly believing his mission genuine. Partly believing it a purposeful opportunity. A final chance from the one who didn't hate him. Who still wanted to be friends. From the irken he looked up to, but was too much of a coward to face the possibility of a life without his best friend.
Red valued Purple more then he did Zim. Despite what he'd done to him. Zim had fleeting thoughts of confronting him. Or about telling Purple what really happened. But Zim chose this path. Sure he hadn't realized where it lead at the time. But he still chose it. And he knew that would only make things worse.
"Are we friends?" The question echoed threw his head. No. Not anymore. Not with Red and Purple at least.
He choked out a sob curling in on the pillow.
But they weren't the ones who asked.
No. That was the Gazling. The human he could tolerate. The one he made dinner with in the absence of her father. Dib would show up screaming out why Zim was in his house. It either end in a fight or Gaz making him back off. He'd try to reason with her. She'd get him to run off. On the rare occasion he'd settle down enough to eat with them.
Those days between the boys' squabbling Zim would catch the girl smile slightly as they all sat at the table and ate. For reason it would remind him of Purple. Before everything. After the taller finally warmed up to him.
He wanted to be friends. But he didn't know if he could.
"Good night, sweet dreams," the Computer whispered as he finally cried himself to sleep.

Quick story of my Michael Afton design
His first ver (wich was a base for all the other ones) was PURLEY based on the fnaf 4 sprite beacuae,,, It's the only Mike design I like besides that pizza sim bear- LIKE SORRY ALIVE MIKE IN SISTER LOCATION IS UGLY AS FUCK and overall I had idea to make him based of Foxy in many regards (such as with thos darn ahoges to represent Foxy's hair spikes). Also here comes the worst part of Mike design that I can never get rid of beacuse I'm wayyyy to attached to it- fleshtooth. I know it's awful you know it's awful I love it
Then I started to doodle him again and then his iconic emo bangs apeared and let's just say,,, these were here for a stay
Then I drew first real art of him and that solidifed the basic purple mike design I would draw the most. It would change slightly later but these changes were mostly based on giving him cooler clothes
Important thing to note on these designs: rather reddish toned hair, those boots (also purple lace if you know lace code you get it) also those fish net stockings. There's no real drawings of teen Michael Afton in this era but I have this gacha model (I'm not doing gacha videos I just liked making characters for fun. I like dress up games ok-) wich tells us a lot we need to know
There's not much imporant things to note here beside black shirt and grey hoodie onstead of gray shirt. This decision was made beacuse I think black shirt suits his edgy teen vibe more and I added the optional grey hoodie to recompensate that. There was also sims 4 model but It was horroble and I don't feel like looking for it. Onky thing notable there were ever redder hair and fishnets making a comeback
Then my fnaf hiperfix ended for around half a year and I came back with this design (also here's still unshaded fullbody in new style)
Notable things with Zombie Mike: No more ahoge, I finally deleted it since drawing it was a pain and it did nothing do enhance the design. he looses a piece of cheek, overall I want to make Zombie Mike look more destroyed. Still tho I want to keeo the general "funky purple monster high oc" vibe since that suits style I draw in more and I enjoy drawing stuff like this more. I litearlly make animatronics into funky furries with bows leave me alone.
Things to note on teen Mike design: Ahoge is also gone, but fishnets make a comeback, same with purple lace comebat boots. He also gets long hair like REALLY long hair. At first I wanted to play around with somehow keeping these bangs but also giving him mullet. However I have no idea how but he ended up long haired but I liked it he looked cute so I kept it.
Final thoughts and bonus funfacts
I totally went with count the ways millie aproach didn't I- But um yeah my Mike doesn't look like this punkish 80's bully boy but like 2000's emo fem but that's okay since that's the aesthetic I prefer anyway 💖 My Mike wasn't meant to be realistic he was meant to be cute and fun to draw ok-
Now funfacts
-Those weird side bangs he has were meant to be a reference to side burns I saw people draw him. But his eyes were too big to make side burns visible so side bangs it is
-He had snake bite pirercing in the first design but I deleted it. Bonnie Bully got it instead to recompansate
-Also Freddy bully gets more of an 80's edgy bully archetype look to recompensate for Mike going the emo way
-His red hair apeared beacuse on his fnaf 4 model I always saw his hair as reddish so I decided to make it evenr redder. It's obviously dyed
-Where it comes to his face he actually looks mostly like his mom, and only has William's eyes. I know this is totally not canon but I just like the irony that feom all things he could have inherited from William, it was his fuckin eyes you know THE WINDOWS OF A SOUL.
-He also gets William's body feutures tho. The only major differecence is shoulders aren't as wide
-His mom was Filipina so he's mixed
-I want him to get a buzz cut and dyed blonde hair during his Mike Schmidt era. I'm yet to design that
-his Foxy mask has a tounge stuck out beacuse of that fnaf 4 foxy teaser
-That light blue tongue while he's purple thing is beacuse I was stupid and while making the first doodle of his design, I acidentaly covered his tounge color with his eye white color
-He propably would wear those fuckin combat boots at the beach. Before you claim me insane to sugest anyone would do that- I litearlly went to beach with someone who wore combat boots there.
-He ripped holes in his jeans himself
-He's so skinny you propabky could count his ribs </3 He's eating alright he's just build this way
-He's tall as fuck

🔮✏️🚨🔮✏️🚨🔮✏️🚨🔮✏️🚨🔮✏️🚨🔮✏️🚨🔮✏️🚨
This week’s Writing Topic comes from Gabe
Gabe
Best Vincent Price impression
coffin opening Good evening ghouls, boys and Bela! As terrifying as the idea of writing your thoughts might be, I have some merging this week made to make your skin crawl, to bring out the darkness within. This week I’m just DYING to know what it is that keeps you up at night, what makes you text message your mommy’s and cling to your teddy bears praying for sunrise. Whether it be giant spiders, the walking dead, things that go bump In the night! This week’s assignment if you dare in sharing your characters DEEPEST, DARKEST, CREEPIEST FEAR who knows with a group like our you may end up facing your fear, or die trying evil laughter
the coffin slams shut
……………………………………………………
Charlie
My biggest fear…. Have to admit this is a tough one to write. I sometimes make it seem as if nothing can hurt me or get to me… it’s just a façade. I work hard to prove myself valuable because I fear being alone, or forgotten. Mostly everyone I’ve been close to or loved, I’ve lost. So for the most part I keep my distance, or make friends with those who are impossible to lose. Maybe it’s shallow, but I have this need to matter to people…. Not to be important per se, but just to matter. For it to be noticed if I’m not around, for it to feel different without me. I often wonder if what I do is enough, or if I’m enough…. My biggest fear is that the answer will be no. (Charlie really is me, this applies to my character and real life; naturally I am a people pleaser and want to make everyone happy. Learning that isn’t possible was a harsh reality for me….but a valuable lesson)
……………………………………….
Patience
My biggest fear. Well while I am terrified of spiders, snakes and clowns (I know right I don't think anyone knew that about me). While I'm still pretty new with the team and do my absolute best. I think my biggest fear I have to say is that one the team will think I'm still a bit too young for this kind of job. But I love it so much. I love being able to go fight monsters and demons and hell just the other day we got rid of Hellboy. I wouldn't want to leave for anything else in the world. Yeah I chose to even do this over my dad so yeah that's my biggest fear.
…………………………..
Crowley
(Gabe said we could do real people and character. I'll do Crowley’s later. Maybe tonight or tomorrow, but right now I'm kinda in a bad place so. Here's my real GREATEST fear. Juliets.....)
My biggest fear……..is not something I ever really try to think about. It’s something that lurks within me every day. It nags constantly at the back of my mind. It’s that thought that keeps me awake just as I almost fall asleep. It’s fed constantly by my self-doubt and countless insecurities. While it connects to Crowley’s, it’s not quite the same. While for Crowley his greatest fear is to be well and truly alone, mine is more fueled by my issues with abandonment. My greatest fear is that everyone I care about, those people who I love and that say they love me, truly just tolerate me out of pity. That they keep me around since they know I will bend over backwards for them, or because I’m just convenient. Because I’d honestly rather just be alone than be a bother to them. I fear that you all just…..humor me? I fear that one day I’ll just…..crack and fall apart, only to find that I’m not worth putting together the pieces. That one day I can’t just be the strong one like I always am, only to find that that’s my only use? I’m the person who buys birthday and Christmas gifts, and even just random little trinkets because giving people things that make them happy makes me happy, but what if I’m just buying their affection? I’ve already had so many friends say they love me, only to ditch me. I’ve put together a friend group’s, only to get iced out of them. My own father claims he loves me, only to stand me up every time we arrange to meet, and asks me to reach out to him only to get GHOSTED. My greatest fear is just……what if I’m unlovable….
…………………………………….
Gabe
(I hope this isn’t too much guys)
Fears? Fears aren’t really my thing and I’ll be blunt and tell you why. It’s simple. I don’t care what happens to me. Trust me, I could tell you horror stories of what has and it would blow your mind. I should be a statistic. I should be a cautionary tale. I say all this and all of you might be thinking I’m writing as myself and not as Gabe, but the truth is If you strip away the celestial powers and you take away the immortality, Gabe is me. It’s my favorite thing about Gabe is the wise fracking smart as with the “devil may care attitude is who I really am . When you take in a character or you find your favorite characters in a book or in a show the reason, in my opinion, is that you can relate to that character. You can see through their eyes, and it doesn’t always have to be the main character. Gabe, Cass, Balty, you put them together. You’ve got me the man behind the mask who will be brutally honest, and loyal while telling you to go fuck yourself in a way that will have you laughing. That actually leads to my fear.
My fear, in my opinion, is exactly what Gabe’s, or Cass’s or Balty’s would be. See those of you who have gotten to know me know that I don’t care what you do to me: hate me, beat me, torture me, shit I’ve been through worse I can tell you that much for sure, but what you NEVER do, is fuck with or hurt the people I care for, the people I love. I’m a pacifist, until you cross that line.
Maybe I’m beating around the bush, maybe I’m being too deep and telling you too much about me. So to put it out there plainly, my biggest fear is something happening to the people I love and being helpless to stop it. Gabe, he’d die before letting anything happen to Donna, his kids, his team. So would Cass. While Balty may not care for the humans, he sure as shit cares about his brothers deep down, as Lucifer killed Cass for hurting Michael I believe Balty would would do them same for his brothers .
I’ve dealt with loss my whole life. I watched my scout master die, I was 13 when my mom passed away at just 33, I was 9 when my cousin died at 16 and only 23 when my sister passed at 21. Maybe that’s what it is.
Nightmares that keep me up? Lexxie, Kimberly, little Cass or any of my children being hurt, kidnapped, hurt or even killed, and it doesn’t stop their. It’s happened with this group. Nightmares of getting calls from members of this group telling me Sam or Charlie or Donna, or Ellen or Ruby or any of you being hurt or worse. Of you going missing or people not hearing from you for days on end. “Gabe this is Charlie’s husband I thought you should know”, “Gabe it’s Ruby I need to tell you about Sam”, “Gabe it’s Bela somethings happened to Henry”, “Gabe it’s Charlie, are you sitting down, Somethings happened to Ruby”, “Cass it’s Meg, It’s about Ellen” “Eileen “ “Jo” “Patience” “Crowley” “Luci” “Bela” “Alex” ….. “Mr. Perry I’m officer whatever, your daughter Lexxie, we found her” and so on and so on.
Horror movies!? Heights? Planes? Things that go bump on the night? Bring them on. Beatings, torture, being killed, it’ll hurt like fuck and I’ll want it to end, but still NOTHING compared to losing the people I care for, nothing compared to knowing I couldn’t do anything to help or save them, NOTHING compared to the nightmares the fear the anxiety of that phone call that message telling me I’ve lost someone I care about. THAT, to me, is the most terrifying thing in all the worlds!
……………………………………….
Bela (Dean)
My biggest fear
I don't share too much of the real me but do it better in writing than in person. There aren’t too many things in real life that I fear. But I know I do have one and it’s something I struggle with constantly. First I’m gonna share a little history about me only because it kinda explains this fear I have. I’m not going to go into much detail because some things can be triggering. So I will just explain I was adopted when I was 4. For very good reasons we will say and I will leave it at that. Been blown off and not been accepted by blood family just because of who my mother is.
Growing up I tried to make friends only to get bullied and made fun of or beat up. I didn’t understand. I used to be a people person shockingly. Because that failed, by high school I made it a point to be friends to the kids that everyone saw as being different. The kids who were constantly bullied because they weren’t as smart as everyone else or they didn’t look or dress a certain way. The kids nobody wanted to be friends with even though they deserved to have friends too.
Well at home growing up I hated dresses rather where jeans and a tshirt hat backwards etc. Got told a lot by my father I was the boy he always wanted. I wasn’t into all the girlie things "girls should be into" I was my own person. Got talked down to by the parents who chose to adopt me to give me a better life... Did they really? My brother had a learning impairment. They favored him straight out. While I was never good enough.
High school... I got bullied there too. Literally drug through the mud on a rainy day. Kids used to take the tassles and hit them off their feet and send them flying at me. Those things hurt and leave welts!. High school I got bullied for being friends with the kids that were bullied. So basically never really accepted anywhere.
Fast forward..... Found rp went through groups where I and Alex both got bullied a lot. Went through that was gonna give up on that too. Connected with Gabe, as Cass, in the 2nd group I got bullied in.. Should have left when he did. So then wasn’t in one for awhile. But I finally decided to ask Gabe to join. And found the place I was accepted and loved.
Yes I’ve been stupid messed up. Got myself kicked. Got given lots of chances... But Gabe never stopped talking to me no matter what. Charlie never stopped talking to me no matter what. That’s when I actually knewIi found a good family. That’s when my fear started too. I had finally found my family. People who legit care. Even when I’ve messed up they still fought for me. Still there still had my back.
Now... My biggest fear.... Messing up bad enough to lose it all. Losing Gabe, Charlie, all of you right here. You all accepted me back. Did I deserve it? Not really. But yall accepted me. I won’t go into details. But think I almost lost it again... But my biggest fear is losing any of you for good. Of course if anything ever happened to either of my kids, sibling(s) even my parents.......
Here in this group. Yall have shown me things and how much somebody actually can care that I haven’t seen in my entire life. I fear losing this.... And of course with Gabe on fearing anything bad happening to any of yall or my family. I have to think a bit on Bela’s before I can write fears for her... But this was mine.
…………………………………………..
Alex
Alex fear: fearing losing her children and fear losing her team and Gabe and Cass and Gabe and Donna kids and I remember when I was very very first group I was with Dean he was my first group first met. I was treated by I should not be name after I got kick I went to Cass and Gabe group Cass hugs me and then when Gabe and Cass and Donna left last 2 group and persons was so mean to me and I left and I ask Gabe and Donna help me create group and I meet sweet Sam Ruby and Henry and Charlie and we all left and build this group we create 💖💖 I love you all
My fear:
My fear after my cousin Jasmin pass I drink lot and I thought about killing myself while ago but I didn’t.
I am scared of death I am scared of losing everyone and my fear is death and I know I need help stop drinking and now I am not drinking and I didn’t go out buy more beer I am drinking coffee Starbucks
……………………………………..
Henry
My biggest fear well I got serval actually. I’m afraid of getting lost if I’m out in an unknown area and lose myself I start to cry. I’m scared of new places that are big and crowded in to cling to people. If I’m focus on something I will be fine in airplanes if not I’m a crabby person till I land. Umm what else am I afraid of? Oh yeah losing people or myself mentally. People leaving me I feel like it will be my fault. I think that’s it.
…………………………….
Ellen
So I would definitely start like everyone of my family members. That yes, OUR biggest fear is losing each other.
But let me tell you about something else.. SPIDERS 🕷... yuck, yuck yuck those are one of my biggest fears. I get so tremendously sick when I see one. And can you imagine! Of all the things we've all been through, and the monsters we've hunted, the losses we have gone through and seen. I mean for crying out loud.... the dam APOCALYPSE! Spiders. I'm so scared of spiders and that they are gonna crawl in our ears and eat our brains. And then Dean would really be able to hunt zombies.. noo, no fear of zombies.. (maybe because people dont scare me anymore, idk) Like you'll be standing there and turn around and BOOM one jumps on you! aaaaahhhhh. So needless to say, that is my biggest fear.
SPIDERS
……………………
(Dean)
my biggest fear (for Bela)
What do I fear most? That is a tough question... I’m not sure I have any fear really. I mean I guess everyone does and I am still human. I guess... If I had to choose... It might be not having power over certain situations. When things happen beyond my control. Things that leave me helpless. I guess that’s why I do what I do... I made a deal because I couldn’t stop what was happening with my father. And my mother did nothing to help either I was helpless and needed out so I did what I had to do.
Then I lost power over myself when I was left helpless as my deal came to an end and the hellhounds took my life. I did what I had to in order to bargain and try to stay on top but that failed when they wanted me to kill Sam and I failed.
I turned to being a con and stealing valuable things to earn a living to still feel I had some control over myself and my success. Is it the right way no, maybe not... But it works. Now I have to prove myself that I dont have to do those things so I need to find other avenues to not remain helpless.
My biggest fear then would be
1) not being able to earn trust from those around me. With those I would like to have a friendship with.
2) losing control or power over myself being left helpless. Most dont trust me... I will do what I have to in order to gain that trust because while yes. making a living stealing or making fakes of antique or valuable things. I still have control over that. I can choose to befriend those I wont steal from. If I can earn that trust.
So, I fear rejection and loss of power over myself or even losing myself or those very few I do have that I do honestly respect and care about even if they dont trust me right now.
………………………………………………
Sam
(Warning... Sam and I are both pretty wordy and have a real tendency to over-share. Find a comfy chair, maybe grab a sandwich and something to drink... this might take a bit)
Sam
I can easily identify what scares me the most, because it’s already happened to me… and it isn't Clowns, although I will forever find them creepy and believe it or not, it's not losing my brother or someone else I deeply care about.
Don't get me wrong, _that_ would be horrible and something that I would have to suffer with and deal with for the rest of my life. But still... No.
Like I said at the start, my biggest fear has already happened once to me. It still wakes me up in a cold sweat of terror often and haunts my psyche in ways it’s hard to describe.
My fear is losing Dean to Hell again, or to a fate like it. Knowing that he's gone from my life, but alive and having to enduring unspeakable torture day after day, hour after hour makes my blood run cold. I'm sure that my own stint in the cage below just adds fuel to that horror, overlaying my own experience with Dean's. But it’s more than knowing that, it’s also about knowing my absolute powerlessness to do anything about it.
Not sure if all of you know this or not, but time in Hell is not synonymous with ours. For every month that goes by here... ten years go by in Hell. Magnifying the true meaning of eternity.
So that's it...
Gabe, if you're reading and planning to file our answers away somewhere... how about we just go with “Clowns”.
Me
I'm like Gabe and Charlie with their characters, in the fact that Sam and I seem to share a _Brain_. I say this all the time and it isn’t just hyperbole because I "get" him in a million ways I'd probably never be able to explain to any of you.
For ME, just like Sam, my greatest fear has already happened to me. It also haunts my psyche and affects my life every single day and I am absolutely powerlessness to change anything about it.
Like the Demon piece Sam found out he carried, I found out I carry a demon of my own, in the form of a Brain Tumor. To quote my alter-ego “I can’t ever rip it out or scrub it clean. I’m a whole new level of freak.”
My fear is losing who I AM. Well, who I am NOW… because it’s already happened to me once. This isn’t who I always was in my life. I lost that person, that life and all those dreams after brain surgery in June 2020. Who I am Now is worlds different from who I was before. Then RP used to be a huge part of my life, so much so, that I moved from one coast of the US to the other to enhance it. For 8 years it was a bedrock of my life, as important as the friendships I had in reality. Having to give up RP along with everything else, shattered me. It’s taken me a full two years to not hate being alive. A lot of the credit for that goes to all of you guys, for letting me play here and experience RP life again through Sam’s, I admit flawed, eyes.
Sam and I have another thing in common, our journeys aren’t yet over. There are major things we’ll both have to face, for Sam that’s currently an un-life in The Empty and for me it’s a second brain surgery in just 20 days. I know that Sam will be hoping that the Team discovers where his is and can look past his actions… I will be hoping that the Team can look past my inevitable surgery-related changes to who I am trying to be.
We, Sam and I, think you guys hold the power to save us both.

Family: A Short Story
Five boys crouched in the alley between the toy store and the bakery on Vine Passage in Queensville. All were between the ages of ten and fifteen. A layer of mud on their bare skin disguised much of the tree-bark like lines snaking across their skin, marking them as sprites, but did little to hide their vibrant red hair.
"Should we really be doing this?" One of the boys whispered, "my mom'll kill if we get caught."
"It's what they deserve, for picking on Oak."
The youngest boy, and the only one with blonde hair, tugged a knitted red cap over his head.
"Shh! They're coming!" A third boy hissed. He stood at the front, the tallest, though not the oldest, of the five. A silence fell upon the gathering, and the boy at the front held up three fingers as he watched from around the corner. Five more boys approached, of similar ages, also all sprites. These boys were better dressed, if only because they were not covered in mud from the recent rains. The fingers counted down. Two, one, and then pointed.
The five in the alley ambushed those in the street, hurling clods of mud from a reed basket two of them carried. They chased the others to the corner until a woman came out of a gift shop. She was human, and she was clearly not pleased to see the boys near her shop. "I'll see to it you're all arrested by the keepers!" She yelled, and the boys scattered.
They slowed down as they reached Acorn Avenue, and started to peel away, leaving Oak and his brother, Ash, to trudge toward their house.
"We're gonna get in trouble, aren't we?" Oak asked.
Ash put an arm around his little brother's shoulders. "Maybe so, maybe not." He nodded his head toward a house on the corner. Oak followed as they knocked on the door.
"What did you get yourselves into this time?" The boy who answered was one of the few humans who lived on Acorn Avenue. Though his skin was a similar golden brown color as the other boys, it did not bear the distinctive tree-bark pattern. His hair was a boring brown, and he was a head taller than Ash, even though they were the same age.
"The Central Row boys were picking on Oak. Saying he's not a real sprite, just 'cuz he's got blonde hair." Blonde hair wasn't unheard of among sprites, but it was unusual. Most had red or orange hair, the color of autumn leaves. "Whose heard of a blonde tree?" one of the boys had asked.
Nic grinned as he opened the door wider. "Come on, you can wash up in here. My parents aren't home anyway."
Oak went first, using a towel Nic gave him to clean as much of the mud as he could off his skin and clothes. Not much had gotten in his hair, since he had been wearing the red cap.
When he came out of the bathroom, the older boys were sitting at the table, smoking cigarettes. "Mom's gonna get double mad at you," he told his brother. "She's told you not to smoke."
"She won't know if you don't tell her, will she?" Ash put out the cigarette on a plate, and then stood up. Nic took one more drag and then followed suit, opening the window as Ash cleared the air with his wind magic.
"You'd better clean up," Nic said as the cigarette box disappeared into his pocket. Then he grabbed the plate and disappeared into the kitchen to dispose of the evidence.
Ash went to the bathroom as Nic returned and leaned in the kitchen doorway. "You couldn't have taken just a couple more minutes in the bathroom?"
Oak perched on a chair at the table. "Why, so you can keep breaking the rules? I know you're not supposed to smoke either. Otherwise, you wouldn't wait until Ash came over so he could get rid of the smell." He wrinkled his nose.
"Well, it's the first time mom and dad have both been gone all week, okay?"
"Where are they?"
"They went to pick up Roman from school." Nic's twin brother, Roman, was a mage and studied at a special boarding school in the port city of Stonewall.
"He doesn't like it when you smoke either."
"No, he doesn't. Not that he'll be around to notice. Apparently he's already agreed to help with the lightning at that kid's play at Bertram."
"The what?"
Ash came back in from the bathroom, hair dripping, and shirtless. "Please don't tell me you just mentioned the Bertram Opera House in front of my brother."
"What do you mean kid's play?" Oak bounced in his chair.
"Forget it," Ash said, "it's not for you."
Nic looked from one brother to the other. "Am I missing something?"
"Oak has decided he is going to perform one day at the Bertram Opera House."
"I'm going to be the first sprite on the stage!" Oak bounced higher. "I'm going to be just like Lakeshore Silverflight!"
"Well, Silverflight never performed there, so you're not going to be just like him," Nic reminded the younger boy.
"Then I'll be better."
"Oh gods, you've gotten him started. Look, Oak, it's a human theater. They don't want people like us."
Oak ignoed his brother. "What's the play?" he asked Nic.
"Uh... I think it's... Lions of Gold?"
Oak bounced higher still. "Lions of Gold! Lions of Gold! I know that one! I could play Akalle!"
Ash shook his head. "Great, now I'm never going to hear the end of it."
Nic walked over to the other boy. "Relax, he's a kid. Let him dream a little."
"That's right. I forgot you were a dreamer too."
"Hey, astromythology makes no less sense than the Calistian gods." He licked a thumb and wiped a speck of mud off Ash's face. "You missed a spot."
"Can we go tomorrow and find out when they're having auditions?" Oak suddenly stood between the two older boys. "Please?!"
Ash looked down. "Oak, I already told you. No one at the Bertram Opera House wants you. They want people like..." Ash pointed to Nic. "...Roman."
Oak stamped his foot. "If you don't take me, I'll tell mom and dad you were smoking."
Ash rolled his eyes, but Nic just grinned. "Little brothers, am I right?"
"You and your brother are twins."
"One of us is still older, right? By five minutes or something?"
"And who's that?"
Nic shrugged. "Do you remember your birth?"
"You're not helping," Ash said as Oak tugged on his arm, alternately begging and threatening for Ash to take him to the opera house the next day. Ash relented. "Fine. We'll go. If we're not already in trouble for fighting." He grabbed his brother and pulled him toward the door. "See you later, Nic."
They did not get in trouble for fighting. Either the other boys had also gotten away with their escapade, or no one had ratted them out. So the following day, Ash took his brother downtown to the Bertram Opera House. He made sure both of them were well dressed in clothing made from the tight, woven fabric humans wore, rather than the knitted yarn that sprites had been wearing for centuries. Ash glanced at Nic's house as they passed, wondering if he should invite the other boy to come. But Nic was probably still asleep. He tended to stay up late, stargazing.
Ash and Oak were all the better for it because Flame, Forest, and Moon were headed out too. "Why are you dressed like that?" Moon asked.
Ash sighed. "We're going to the Bertram Opera House."
Forest snorted. "Why are you going there?"
"Because Oak wants to audition for the play."
"I want to see this." And so the other three joined them.
It was a twenty minute walk to the opera house. Ash was glad the other boys were with him, since he didn't want trouble. They technically weren't doing anything wrong, but they didn't really need to be for someone to call the keepers on them.
The five of them stood across the street from the opera house, watching as people bustled in and out. "Well, something's going on," Forest said, "they're not usually this busy until later in the day."
A woman passed them holding the hand of a young boy about Oak's age. He was blonde too, but he clearly not a sprite. Another woman at the door with a clipboard greeted them like a new teacher at the start of school.
"They're already auditioning!" Oak made a run for the door, but Ash grabbed his shirt collar.
"Hold on, there," he told his brother. "We can't just go running in."
"Yeah," Moon nodded to the lady with the clipboard. "You have to be on the list."
As the mother and son walked inside, the woman with the clipboard looked up sharply at them. "And what are you doing out here?" She spoke the words in a quick, clipped sort of tone, except for the word you, which she elongated and let hang in the air.
"I want to aud..." Oak started to say, but Ash clapped a hand over his mouth.
"Nothing!" the older boy told her. "Just running an errand for my mother. She needs a pound of mackerel from the fish market."
"Then you'd best be on your way."
"Yes ma'am." When Ash struggled to drag the straining Oak down the sidewalk, the other boys helped.
"But I wanna audition!" he whined as they reached the street corner.
"Yeah, well they don't want us."
Ash hoped his companions would agree with him, and they could go home, but Flame leaned down. "Well, you need to stake out the competition first, don't you? Come on." He tilted his head down a side street. And that was that.
Flame wasn't the leader because he was the oldest--two years younger than Ash in fact--or because he was the strongest--that was Moon. He was the tallest of the five, almost as tall as a human boy his age, but that had nothing to do with it either. He had this smile that eased you into things. A playful grin that could have convinced the sun to change its course in the sky. It almost reminded Ash of Nic.
Flame led the group down an alley to the back of the opera house. "I don't like it down here," Oak complained. "Isn't this were Godfrey Erikson was killed?"
Ash rolled his eyes. Leave it to his little brother to know about some actor who died a decade before he was born.
"Who cares about Godfrey Erickson?" Moon muttered, looking around the way he might when they were on Central Row.
"Yeah, didn't he turn out to be a murderer anyway?" Forest asked.
Flame shushed them all. He pulled a bobby pin from his pocket and wrestled with the lock for a minute.
"They're going to be using magic on it to keep it from getting picked, you know," Ash said, but Flame shushed him again, and the door swung open. Ash wasn't sure how Flame had learned to pick locks like that, and he wasn't sure he wanted to know.
Oak tried to run inside, but Flame caught him. "No," he whispered, "We're staking out the competition, remember?"
Oak nodded, eyes wide. Moon continued to look around them, sniffing the air, as the other four leaned in toward the doorway. They couldn't see anything, but they could hear a voice stammering through a set of lines.
"I... may be... small, but... but I could con...conquer a lion."
"He's terrible," Oak whined, "I could do so much better than that."
Before anyone could respond, a whoop echoed in the alley, and something wet and slimy hit Ash in the back. "Ugh!" Forest yelled as the smell of rotting fish rose from the ground around them. They turned as one to see the Central Row boys gathered at the mouth of the alley, firing on them with something that had surely gotten out of the garbage behind the fish market. They'd probably gotten paid a few pennies each to take the trash out too. There was nowhere to flee but through them.
Ash charged into the nearest boy, and soon it broke into an all out brawl. If they had ruined his good clothes, the least he could do was to make sure they went home stinking too. Of course, all this time, the backstage door was still open, and soon several stage hands were pulling the boys off of one another. Ash was a little thankful for the fish garbage after that because he hadn't been covered in it, the stage hands may have kept a tighter grip on him until the keepers arrived. As it was, they didn't want to muss up their own clothes, so he slipped out of their hold, grabbed Oak, and ran.
This time, there was no hiding the fact that they had gotten into a fight. Not only were they covered in fish guts, they had ruined their best clothes. It wasn't until after their mom had given them a tongue lashing about wearing their nice clothes for no reason and hanging around the opera house when they had no right to that she finally got around to punishing them for fighting. They were stuck at home for the next week.
The other boys had fared no better. Moon had gotten an actual lashing from his parents. Forest was sentenced to yard work for the whole neighborhood, and Flame's dad decided to drag him to work. "If you can't stay out of trouble here, you'll stay out of trouble there," he'd said.
The worst part of Ash's punishment was that when his mother learned Oak wanted to be in the play, she told him he could run lines with his little brother, for "entertaining ridiculous notions," as if doing that would make Oak realize he would never be able to audition at the Bertram Opera House. But the grounding seemed to have the desired effect on that too. By the end of the week, Oak assumed the auditions of the play were over, so it didn't matter that he knew the part backward and forward.
The first day they were allowed out, their mother sent them to get yesterday's bread from the bakery. It was in the business strip about halfway between Acorn Avenue and Central Row, so it was common for brawls to break out there. Since going alone was a poor idea, and Forest and Flame were still living out their punishments, Ash called Moon to come along. He didn't expect Nic to catch up to them on their way down the street.
"Hey, haven't seen you in a while."
"Yeah, mom found out we were fighting." Ash glanced at Moon, who kept his gaze straight ahead.
"Where you headed to now?"
"Bakery. Mom needs some of their day old bread for pudding."
"Can I tag along?"
Ash glanced at Moon again. This time, he glanced back and shrugged.
As they walked out of the bakery, two of the boys from Central Row waited for them. "Well, if it isn't the little blonde freak," one of them said. Ash heard an intake of breath next to him, as if Nic were preparing to speak, and he gave his hand a squeeze, hoping it would silence him. "You guys got us arrested by the keepers."
"You got yourselves arrested. Maybe next time you'll think twice before throwing fish at people." Ash pushed the group past the other boys.
"You walking away from us, you cowards?"
Ash turned. "Oh, you want to fight?" He tried to sound cool and causal, as if he really didn't care what the answer was. Even though they outnumbered the other two boys, he wasn't sure they could beat them. Oak was small, and he didn't know what kind of a fighter Nic was. Besides, he was already in trouble.
The other boys looked at the group. Ash could tell they were eying Nic, but they didn't say anything about him. "Tomorrow," one of them said at last, "Noon. Sunnyside Park. Let's settle this once and for all." Ash nodded, knowing it would settle nothing.
When they got back to Acorn Avenue, Nic went to his house and Moon walked Ash and Oak home. "You shouldn't have agreed to that. We don't even know if we'll have Forest and Flame tomorrow."
Ash shrugged. "They kick us, and we'll get them back later."
"What about Nic?"
"What about him?" Ash could feel Moon watching him. He gave the bread to Oak to take inside to their mother.
"You two just seem close is all."
"So?"
Moon scratched at the dirt with the toe of his sneaker. "Well, you're family. I wanted to know if he was too."
Ash glanced back at Nic's house. "I don't know yet."
"Well, when you do, let us know."
Ash nodded, and Moon headed back to his house.
The next day, around eleven, Ash and Oak told their mother they were headed to Sunnyside Park. They didn't mention what they were going to do there. Forest wasn't done serving his sentence yet, but Flame was available. As Moon suspected, he was not entirely happy with Ash's decision, but accepted it. Everything would have gone perfectly smoothly if they hadn't passed the Bertram Opera House on their way.
Ash hadn't really thought about it. He assumed the auditions were over and his brother would move on. But the same woman with the clipboard was standing out front. She narrowed her eyes as they walked past. "You're not the same boys who were here last week, are you?"
Ash was about to tell her he didn't know who she was talking about, and they were walking toward Sunnyside, when Oak yelled across the street. "Can I still audition for the play?"
The woman's eyes grew wide and she pursed her lips. Then looked at her clipboard and back to Oak. "I'm afraid we're full. Perhaps next time." Then before he could argue, she turned to go inside, almost running right into someone coming out.
"Excuse me," Nic Carter said, as he slid past her and down the stairs. She smiled at him, and after one last backward glance toward Ash and his friends, slipped inside and shut the door.
When he saw the others, Nic crossed the street. He opened his mouth, but Ash spoke first. "What are you doing here?"
"Bringing my brother lunch."
Oak tugged on Nic's arm. "Is it true they're done auditioning?"
"The director's at lunch. They're going to start again when he gets back." Nic barely gave the younger boy a glance, and he spoke in an unfocused sort of way, until he returned his gaze to Ash. "Don't tell me you're going to fight those other boys at Sunnyside."
"Someone's got to teach them a lesson."
Oak stood next to his brother sulking, until Flame whistled to him. He and Moon were walking away down the sidewalk. Flame tilted his head, indicating the other boy should join them. At first he thought they were going to the fight and leave Ash behind, but they lingered several feet away, murmering to each other about strategy. Oak could barely hear Nic and Ash from their new spot.
"And what are you going to do if you beat them? Use your magic to take their breath away?"
"I could take yours away instead."
Oak tried to listen to the conversation Flame and Moon were having, but he couldn't focus on it, especially as a big black car was pulling around the corner toward the Opera House. It slowed and stopped. He could see a man getting out. This had to be the director returning. Oak knew if he could just get someone to listen to him once, he could get that part. He knew it perfectly.
"I can't do this."
"What, can't be seen with your sprite boyfriend in this part of town?"
"As if I didn't spend all year with you at the history museum."
Oak crossed the street swiftly, making a beeline for the man exiting the the car. He was tall and thin, like he was made of toothpicks. He wore a red shirt, black pants, and the shinest shoes Oak had ever seen. Even as he ran across the street, the man approached the door of the opera house without even backward glance. Oak would have to do something to get himself heard.
"I can't do this, not with Roman right there."
"You told me your brother came out last winter, and they didn't care."
"They didn't."
"I may be small, but I can conquer lions!" Oak called out. At first, he didn't think the director heard him. Then he turned, slowly, almost jerkily, as if he were some kind of clockwork toy. Emboldened by the attention he was getting, Oak continued. "I don't need size or strength. I'm Akalle the Cunning." From across the street, he heard Moon yelling at him to stop, but this was his only chance.
"What then? You're afraid of stealing me from your brother? Because he's shown so much interest from that school of his."
"No, it's not that, it's just..."
"Just what?!"
The director strode up to Oak and leaned down until his face was inches away from the boy's. "And who are you?"
"Oakfield Ironglade. I'd like to audition for your play."
"Get out. Of my sight." This was not the reaction Oak had expected. And he really hadn't expected the director to push him. Oak stumbled backwards, tripped over a rock, and landed in the street.
It was the sound of Oak crying the broke Ash and Nic out of their argument. Nic ran over to help him, but Ash pushed the other boy aside.
"You boys have no business near this theater!" A man yelled at him.
Ash helped his brother to his feet. "You're right. We don't. Come on, Oak." Nic approached again, and Ash pushed him back. "Go home, Nic. You don't want to get involved."
"Everything okay?" Moon asked as Ash and Oak joined the other two on the sidewalk.
"Everything's fine," Ash said, "he's just not family. Come on. We have a fight to win. You ready, Oak?"
Oak wiped his nose on his sleeve. "Yeah. Let's go."

Neil got rid of all Billy's stuffed animals right after his mom left-
So what if... Steve takes Billy to the carnival, and sees him looking at all the stuffed animals? He knows Billy won't admit he wants any, so he decides to try his hand at a few carnival games.
They end up going back to Steve's place with a bunch of stuffed animals
This was SUCH a cute idea that I couldn’t help writing something for it!!! Thank you for sending this my way!!! 💕💕💕
*🐻🐻🐻*
Three months into their relationship, Steve was rarely shocked anymore by Billy’s stories of how how Neil had treated him as a kid, especially once his mom had left, but just because he wasn’t shocked, it didn’t mean he wasn’t horrified and saddened.
One incident that had really stuck with him was Neil throwing out all of Billy’s stuffed animals the day after his mom left, saying he wasn’t a baby, and didn’t need them anymore.
One of the first times Billy had been to Steve’s house, he’d spent his time perusing Steve’s belongings in his bedroom. He’d flipped through Steve’s little black book, poked around in his polos, and tried on the various overpriced hand creams that Steve’s mom had bought him, tucking away the ones he liked best to take home with him, at Steve’s insistence.
Steve had left the room to grab them both a beer, and when he returned, he found Billy with Steve’s childhood stuffed animal, a little bear with curly, golden brown fur, with a ribbon around his neck, named Freddie, in his arms, his eyes closed, a little smile on his face.
Steve stayed silent for a moment, soaking in the view, before he cleared his throat. Billy’s eyes snapped open and he immediately placed Freddie back on Steve’s dresser, and they didn’t talk about it again, but that night, when they were going to sleep, Steve grabbed Freddie and placed him in Billy’s arms.
The other boy was silent for a few moments, holding Freddie as Steve held him, but then he spoke, his voice cracking with emotion. “He threw out all my stuffed animals when my mom left. I had tons of them, mostly sea creatures. My favourite was a little octopus named Patty. The day after my mom left, I came home from school to find Neil stuffing them all into a garbage bag. I begged him to stop, but he just loaded them into the back of his truck and took them to the dump. Said I was too old for that shit.”
Steve didn’t even know what to say to that. Billy had only been 8 when his mom left. Steve slept with Freddie until he was 13. He just pulled Billy closer, petting his hair and kissing his nape until he fell asleep, Freddie still cuddled in his arms.
From then on, without ever saying anything about it, Steve would grab Freddie for Billy to cuddle when he slept over.
That summer, they were on a date at the fair two towns over. Once they’d had their fill of corn dogs and cotton candy, Steve set his eyes on the games. While they’d been eating, Steve could see Billy eyeing the stuffed animal prizes at the various booths. Steve made it his mission to win Billy as many as possible.
He warmed up with the easy games. The duck pond, and this game where you had to catch a motorized frog and the colour on the bottom corresponded with the level of prize that you won. Within a half hour, Billy had a whole handful of stuffed snakes and sharks, teddy bears and plush pigs and sheep.
Steve then moved onto the slightly harder games, the balloon pop, the milk cans, and the squirt guns. It must have been sheer luck and determination to make Billy happy that helped him out, because he was killing it. To his flock, Billy added a stuffed parrot, a mama shark to go with the baby, and a Pac Man.
Still not satisfied, Steve walked up the the strong man booth, paying the fee and grabbing the hammer. To his frustration, he could barely get it halfway to the bell. He pulled out more bills, handing them to the carnival worker. He tried again, not even making it as far as the first time.
He had to give it one more shot, for Billy. There was a massive teddy bear, almost as big as Billy himself, at stake. He grabbed the hammer, and channeled all of his rage he felt when he so much as thought about Neil Hargrove into it. The bell dinged and a small crowd cheered. The worker handed Steve the massive bear, and Billy accepted it with misty eyes.
They went back to the car and loaded Billy’s loot, then spent the rest of the afternoon on the rides, making themselves sick on the tilt a whirl, and discreetly kissing at the top of the ferris wheel. At the end of the day, Steve grabbed them one more giant lemonade for the road, and they headed out.
They carried all of the stuffed animals into Steve’s room for safekeeping, until the day they were free and out on their own, and Billy could litter their whole home with them. Steve left to use the washroom, and when he returned to his room, he couldn’t find Billy. Until he saw a tuft of golden curls sticking out from under a shark. “Where’s Billy, Freddie?” Steve asked in his goofiest voice. “Have you seen Billy, little lamb?”
Before long, the mass of stuffed animals started to shake as Billy broke into uproarious laughter at Steve’s antics.
“Hey guys, I think I found my boyfriend!” Steve said, laughing, as he flopped down on top of the mound, digging through the pile until he found Billy’s face, pressing his lips to Billy’s own in a gentle kiss.

Oh god!
I really love the poly headcanons they are so sweet.... (or don't but that's part of it and i think the tot boys+MC deserve all the love the world has to give).
But, liking it or not, our 4 beloved boys are kinda complicated (that's what makes them perfect). Plus I never thought about how people get in poly relationships. So i was thinking, how do you think they all get into a polyrelationship together?
(I really have no idea of how that would happen)
hi, two anons!! im glad you guys liked my nxx team polycule stuff!! i'll answer these in one go, my "headcanon" (in quotes because i think this kinda turned into a character analysis/minific of sorts HAHA) being what first anon asked, How They Get Together.
heads up, wc of this is 1.9k words long so buckle up for a bit of a read jfsjdfkjbf
because first anon, youre right!!! the boys are stupendously complicated which i love so so much but canon has also shown us clearly that each of the boys' quirks and habits and tendencies causes a lot of (mostly played for laughs) friction. the bickering, the backhanded insults, the "im the best one here" preening contests. theyre all SOOOO RIDICULOUS and it is hilarious but yep! the boys r complex!! and that means this beautiful ship, imo, has a lot of phases to get to the actual romantic relationship bit.
how they get together, in my opinion, starts because of mc.
not in the sense that she matchmakes them all, but like.
phase 1 of the nxx team polycule is this:
through being in love with her (which we all know the boys 100% are), each of the boys come to terms with their own flaws and weaknesses. it's very apparent to me in all the story thus far that these boys are flawed as hell, it's very compelling but even more compelling to me is how all of them also do intense mental gymnastics to Not Confront Those Flaws. like, marius is a dickbag always teasing and toeing the line of insincerity, vyn is a controlling mf who always tries to sway situations to his benefit, artem is so repressed to the point that he has genuine trouble with emotions, luke is a self sacrificial bastard and also a huge hypocrite about how no, actually, hes the only one that should be hiding his pain and being dishonest, no dishonesty from other people!! in the beginning of the story, all the boys have their flaws and seem to have just kinda...not addressed how those flaws are harming them and the people around them.
and then mc rolls around and they all fall in love with her. and she sees those flaws and she doesnt let them slide. she challenges the boys in her own ways to see another side of the situation, to acknowledge what theyre doing. she doesnt want to get rid of flaws, thats impossible and also not cool. she just has this beautiful hope for like, all of humanity, that goodness can prevail with the right work. so when she sees her beloved nxx boys, she believes that for them as well.
which leads to phase 2 of the nxx team polycule:
the boys, more aware of themselves, become more aware of each other.
they werent Unaware of the others of course. it's just that they didnt like...truly connect on a personal level just yet. they saw the other teammembers with their emotional armor and flaws and saw a wall that wasnt worth looking past.
but after mc makes them realize that hey, flaws arent the end of the world actually, it's alright and the person behind them may just be worth it, the boys like. end up understanding the others. A LOT OF THIS BIT IS UNINTENTIONAL, ON THEIR PARTS KJDSBFS. like they stumble into understanding each other by accident, they didnt plan it, but over the course of nxx investigations, it's inevitable that they end up seeing the depths of the others. i delve into this a little bit in my fanfic "filler eps of the lost gold" where the boys are just going thru their actions and then trip over another boy's fears or desires and through that, gain a deeper understanding mutually.
and with understanding, sometimes, comes trust.
phase 3 of the nxx team polycule goes like this:
everybody in this team, whether they like it or not, whether they know it or not, has a heart that wants to give love so desperately.
marius lives in a world full of snakes so he cant have his heart on his sleeve for his own protection. vyn wants to be seen as perfect and the heart is inherently messy so he holds it back. artem for a very very long time was focused on work and success and achievement that he neglected his heart. and luke has been giving love all his life in a sense but in a way thats hidden.
all these tendencies that are brought upon their life circumstances results in this: they want to love honestly but they havent been able to do this
until mc. and all of them want to push back whatever fears or patterns their life has instilled in them because they see her and see somebody so unwaveringly good that all their hearts begin giving love to her to make her happy and to make themselves happy as well.
but heres the thing. the boys dont just see mc. by this point, they have connected and understood and come to trust each other as well, and the consequence of that is that They Can See Each Other Now Too, Truly.
and heres the thing. all of the boys are unwaveringly good as well.
one by one, each of the boys realize that what they feel for the other boys in the team starts to...change. yeah theyre all friends, they pick on each other a lot of the time, but the bedrock of the relationship is solid and strong now. but when marius is with luke, marius sees a light inside of luke so bright that he seems unaware that he gives off. when artem is with vyn, artem sees a goodness inside of vyn that hesitates to make itself obvious and known because vyn is scared of getting hurt thanks to it. all of them see the other and their goodness and, unbidden, their hearts want to give love to each other as well.
and because theyre all a bit stupid in their own way theyre like, huh, weird! wonder why this feeling is so familiar! and yet i cant seem to name it...and then they all independently compare these feeling with the feelings they have for mc, a feeling they do know the name of, and theyre like.
WAIT.
THESE FEELINGS ARE...VERY BASICALLY EXACTLY WHAT I FEEL FOR MC.
which only means one thing: theyve fallen in love with everybody else
marius: //goes to his studio to Think and sees that a bunch of his recent art actually had little crumbs of these feelings already, etched into the brushstrokes and scenes. has an emotional crisis about it
vyn: //records a 1 hour long entry in his audio diary to examine and gain control of his feelings but by the end of the hour all he knows is that he wants to hold these people and be held by them
artem: //quite literally just bluescreens, artem.exe has stopped working, sits at his study and slowly, slowly, thunks his head down onto his desk, valiantly trying to ignore the fast pulse of his heart
luke: //manically vents about it to peanut who, by virtue of being a bird, doesnt get it. just keeps talking at peanut to get a grasp of it all and then lies down on the floor, overwhelmed
mc, sitting in her apartment watching some netflix: ...why do i inexplicably feel as if something very, very important has just happened?
phase 4 of the nxx team polycule is basically:
pining: extreme difficulty level
because pining is already hard when ur pining for one person. what more for an additional 3 more people. and those additional 3 more people are pining back.
and all these boys are SOOOO OBVIOUS with their romantic feelings, in their own special way. the way they show their affection to mc starts to bleed into their interactions with the others and everybody can CLEARLY SEE WHAT IS GOING ON, LOL, but also all the boys are too chickenshit to confront it, because if they confront it, what will even happen??? being in love with each other, all of them, thats going to be such a complicated fucking relationship, holy shit. it's 2030, yeah, being a polyamorous group relationship isnt completely unheard of, but sue them, theyre scared.
but mc (who i forgot to mention already knows of the boys' romantic feelings for her, shes just hasnt made a move yet on any of them because SHES IN LOVE WITH ALL OF THEM AS WELL and shes been trying to figure out how the hell to make that work, she cant bear to choose just one of them, she'd be heartbroken over leaving the rest of them behind) sees that the nxx investigation team is now all pining for each other FULLY and she kinda wants to laugh when she realizes whats going on because like, what are the chances? that this would happen? that they all found each other and their feelings fell into just the right place for nobody to be left behind?
theyre all scared, she can tell. and she is as well, she wont lie.
but shes always had a belief that goodness can prevail with the right work.
and love is one of the greatest goods out there.
phase 5 of the nxx team polycule:
It's Time For Communication, Baby!!!!!
the exact scenes of how this happens is a bit vague to me. it could go two ways: mc going to each of the boys independently to talk about feelings, hers about everybodys and his about everybodys as well. OR they have a fucking meeting about it all together and artem literally schedules it in his google calendar, or something.
either way, they like, actually talk about this. starts casual, maybe over a chill date, maybe over dinner at a nice restaurant, maybe over a walk in the park as the sun is starting to set. but where ever it happens, the end result is the same: a heart is laid out bare and it is taken in gentle, grateful hands.
marius: OKAY, NOW THAT THE FEELINGS ARE OUT OF THE WAY, CAN I PLEASE KISS ONE OR ALL OF YOU, PLEASE, IVE BEEN WANTING TO KISS U GUYS FOR FOREVER
vyn, laughing fondly: has anybody ever told you patience is a virtue? we quite literally just talked it all out.
marius: //needy whining noises
artem, embarrassed: ive...never kissed anybody before
luke, embarrassed but trying to play it Cool: ....same here
mc: kissing is great, you two will love it!
marius: awesome, awesome, so is ANYBODY going to give me a go ahead or WHAT????
phase 6 of the nxx team polycule:
i dont want to say it's happily ever after, once they all get together. thats not really realistic.
they all have their quirks and tendencies and habits. and those will inevitable clash against each other. theyll have their arguments, theyll get upset, theyll sulk and be angry, sometimes. but also...
theyll see each other smile and feel like their love shining so brightly. theyll reach out for another's hand and be held in such a way that makes them think that their heart is in a safe place. theyll love each other and theyll put in the work to continue loving each other. because goodness will prevail.
and they all see each other as the most good people in the world.
so whatever happens, theyll get through it together.

Saph I hope you feel better! I really liked the VM Snow White you just posted, but could you also please do the same prompt but with M9 boys including Molly? If you’re not feeling up to it that’s fine too!
Thank you! The meds are beginning to do their job luckily. I'm glad you liked the last one. I blinked, my hand slipped and now it's here. Prepare for some angst. Hope you enjoy! 😘
(Caleb)
Caleb had always known his past would come to haunt him. He was prepared for it. Prepared to take the hit, take responsibility for everything and he’d face his past be that with or without the people he loves. Part of him, once he got used to having these fools around, having you around, wanted it to be on his own, to protect them and protect you. To not have any more lives lost in the grand scheme. The people he loves becoming collateral would be unacceptable. But you had become collateral in the grand scheme of things.
When it became clear to his enemies he was a bit more attached to you than the others, they took this weakness and exploited it. They pushed his buttons before, using you as a tool, verbal bait even, but he never fell for it. His reluctancy to act on his feelings, to keep them to himself instead, were the very thing he hoped would keep those loose ends from latching onto you. His love is a curse, the objects of his desire always to be torn away from him no matter how hard he tries to prevent it. He’s lost you to that same curse. Not lost. Almost lost.
You’ve been cursed, your conscious mind separated from your unconscious body. Simple healing spells wouldn’t do the trick here. This curse holds no roots in the divine. He’s spent days researching and that much he could confirm. This curse would take an arcane approach. Something he prides himself in to be his specialty. Lucky you. Lucky him. He had the others bring all books, ancient scrolls and other sources of knowledge brought to him, along with a wide variety of components once he’d made a significant dent in the research matter, assuring him this would have the greatest chances of success.
It’s not the soft canopy bed with the plush pillows from the fairytales you’re placed on. Instead you lay on a wooden table, inscribed with all sorts of arcane sigils. Nor do you look like some angelic peaceful being. Your brow is furrowed in discomfort, your hands balled into fists at your sides. Caleb moves a brush against areas of exposed skin, painting symbols to match with precision and care, afraid to even make a single mistake, triple checking every mark. He speaks the incantations while incorporating the components varying from precious gems crushed and whole, herbs and incense. And then he waits. He doesn’t expect the effects to be immediate, often with these magics it is not and he knows that but that doesn’t get rid of the impatience and fear.
“How I long to hear your voice again. I know this will work but that doesn’t ease away the sliver of doubt. What if… What if… That’s what I keep asking myself. I know it’s stupid.” Caleb wipes an hand over his brow as he pulls up a chair and sits at your side, elbows leaning on the table careful to avoid any sigils just in case.
“It also faced me with the harsh reality that I held off telling you how I feel. It looks so stupid now in hindsight because what good did it do anyone. In the end you still ended up paying for my mistakes. I was stupid to push you away, try to convince you your own feelings were unreciprocated. I know I didn’t have you fooled in the slightest but to know I could have loved you, it makes me feel like I am to blame for wasting that opportunity and possibly shortening our time together. The thought of losing you before having given you my love will forever be my greatest regret.”
Caleb watches the muscle of your hand unclench and relax. He hears a deep intake of breath and staring at your face he’s met with your smile, one filled with love as he helps you sit up. All is good once more.
(Fjord)
Fjord’s drenched to the bone, out of breath, anger running through him like he’s never experienced. Still he’s unsure if his anger is directed at the one responsible for your eternal slumber or at himself for making a ballsy move that didn’t pay off in the slightest and in fact backfired in a worse way he could have ever imagined. He played a game of chicken with Uk’otoa and lost. He’d have been fine by letting someone else pay the price for him. Why should he care about some stranger becoming victim to the leviathan? The one who paid the price, became the victim to his actions didn’t end up being a stranger. It had to be you of all people hadn’t it?
Uk’otoa must have been watching his dreams, even his waking actions if that were possible and have seen his infatuation with you. When the leviathan threatened Fjord in another briny dream of his mentioning your name he had called bullshit. The snake had never been able to reach out to anyone it didn’t already have some kind of grasp on. Little did he know Uk’otoa had just that. Just enough of a sliver through him, and the Cloven Crystal to get to you.
So there Fjord sits at your bedside. You’re just as drenched as he is, hair dripping, skin glowing in the candle light of the room reflected off the water particles. Your lips are tinted blue, a redness around your eyes, your skin is cold. The sleep you’re in is a state of perpetual drowning and Fjord knows what it feels like, to drown. He can only hope you’re spared that pain. He doesn’t think he’ll be able to forgive himself if you are tortured like so because of his actions. Clasping your hand between both of his he runs his fingers over your knuckles. He bows his head. It still feels so wrong to not have you respond to his touch. So wrong.
“I want you to know that I am to blame for your fate. I’m about to do a very stupid thing to make it right. I know you’d tell me not to but I can’t sit by and watch you suffer like this. I’ve tried everything. I’ve begged and bargained. I’ve shouted at the skies but I got no reply. Everything comes up empty and I see no other choice than to do this. It might sound stupid but I came to ask for your forgiveness.” Fjord pauses. Usually he would have gotten a reply. He would sell his soul for just having you tell him everything will be alright. It’s a good thing he’s about to sell it for so much more than that. It’s worth it. It’s worth having you alive and well.
“I won’t ask for forgiveness for what I’m about to do because I will never regret it. I ask only you may one day forgive me for what I might become. I need you to know I love you and did, will do all of this out of love. That’s why I hope you’ll never see me again after I give myself to Uk’otoa. I can’t bare to watch that affection in your eyes being replaced by hatred, but most of all disappointment. I hoped to be worthy of your love and I will always regret never having truly experienced it.” Fjord’s voice cracks slightly. He studies your face, as if to ingrain every detail into his memory, as if he thinks he might never see it again.
“I’m afraid. I’m so deadly afraid.” Fjord whimpers pressing a kiss to the back of your hand before he lets go. He checks his supplies, taking out the Cloven Crystal, glaring at the orb intensely cursing the thing to oblivion. Coughs pull him out of his staring match with the crystal. Your body moves, leaning over the edge of the bed vomiting up brine. Fjord drops the orb and his belongings running over to you and helping you gather your bearings until you’re no longer chocking on sea water.
“You better not do what I think you’re planning with that orb or so help me Storm Lord, I will drown you myself.” Fjord can’t do anything but laugh despite the very real threat on his life as you pull him into your embrace.
(Caduceus)
Caduceus isn’t bothered by death. Death is part of life as much as living is. It’s inevitable. Every soul will move on, leaving its vessel for the earth, the fire or the wild things to bring forth something new. What does very much bother him are perversions of death, those who try to cheat death, upset the natural balance, maim and manipulate that what is and should be. He hates it with a passion and seeks to rectify it, return the world to that balance when faced with it. That’s where you come in. You much like him have a respect and understanding of life and death similar to his own. Very few people understand that. Very few people do not fear the end when they see it coming. You’re one of those very few people.
You understand Caduceus on a different level, in his sentiment and mannerisms while others may think him strange. Not that he cares if people do, you’ve been his filter in the big shiny new world past the borders of his grove. You’ve been his safety net, his grounding force, his safe haven when the world seems against him and he thinks his senses might be wrong. The Wild Mother must have gently blown her winds to bring you together.
That’s why it seems so wrong you’re affected by this darkness having taken hold over your body, leaving you in a state of not entirely alive nor dead. Resurrection has been futile as much as draining your life and allowing you to move to the care of the Wild Mother herself. You’re trapped and that’s why Caduceus fears what would happen should you die. He’s seen what this perversion of life and death has done to his home, the forests surrounding it and the creatures living in it. He’ll do everything in his power to prevent that from happening to you.
Caduceus has put your body through the typical burial rites and rituals, preserving what he can by using wards and the divine blessings granted to him by his goddess, sending her prayers of your recovery but you appear to be even beyond her reach now. He moves a damp cloth across your arms and face, brushing aside your hair, humming to himself until he’s done, moving on to clean the room around you, getting rid of the dust, placing things back where they belong and replacing the decayed flowers with fresh ones. Caduceus gathers his tea, preparing a cup for himself as he watches you.
“Can you show me how they’re doing?” The wind grows cold. He knew that would be the answer but still he could hope maybe that answer could change.
“Are they in pain?” The wind grows warm but then cold again. You were, but not anymore. It seems that the new wards he’s put up are doing their job. That’s good.
“Is there a cure?” The gentle breeze disappears. She doesn’t know then. This goes even beyond the goddess herself but it doesn’t mean it’s impossible. Caduceus will keep hope, though it is dwindling fast, for your sake he’ll have hope. He’s always spoken to the dead before and while you’re not really dead, there’s a strange comfort to something that feels so final.
“Hey. I’d ask you how you’re doing but that’s not gonna work now, is it? Don’t worry. You’re going to be fine. I know you are. You’ve managed to keep me alive with the others for much longer than I’ve been taking care of you like this. I think we’re going to be fine. I know you’re here but I still miss you. Calliope makes for terrible company watching things unfurl between the others. She’s too much of a hopeless romantic. You forgot to tell me the recipe to that special brew of yours. I’ve been trying to recreate it but I haven’t been able to. I think what I’m trying to say is, I could really do with having my best friend back. That’d be nice.”
Caduceus sips his tea, face devoid of his usual dopy smile. A sudden breeze hits through the window, blowing it open. A few lighter weight and loose items go flying but the thud of a heavier one is clear to hear. Caduceus closes the window and feels something solid hit his boot. It’s a crystal from the ones surrounding the grove. He picks it up, feeling the warmth run through it. The breeze directs towards you and he feels himself walking over to your body. The crystal calls to you and when it touches you your body runs with energy, pulsing, like you’ve been forcibly pulled back to this world. You look around eyes wide breathing heavy.
“Hey.” Caduceus smiles. “I made tea.”
(Mollymauk)
Maybe pretending you and him were some high born assholes was a questionable decision. Taking on an invite directed at the said people you were impersonating even more so, and stealing, sorry, borrowing without asking, some things from their summer cottage to swim in luxuries, an out right terrible idea when these people happen to be very well connected.
So when these fancy folk came back to the cottage earlier than expected, the two of you had grabbed what you could before making your grand escape, chased by their private guards until you lost them. A safe distance away you set up camp. Time to inspect your findings before returning to the carnival. Your eye for valuables had always been much more keen than Molly’s and your appraisals usually spot on. It was only natural he would let you do your thing but he’d still help you.
Particularly proud of getting some ornate jewellery box Molly had pried it open and revealed the jackpot. But of course you couldn’t just sell recognisable jewellery as is and you couldn’t keep such a thing on you very long. So of course you went to work, prying the stones from their settings. A particular necklace was giving you trouble, not even your tools being able to pry it out, you even broke one so you left that one for last.
The two of you had argued, eventually setting on just smashing the stone with the pommel of Molly’s scimitar, the broken gem still providing plenty of pay and not being as recognisable in peaces. So you held the necklace across a stone while he smashed it. When it did a spark hit, next thing he knew you were on the ground, your hands burned where you held the precious metal. At first he thought you were simply knocked out but when you didn't wake up he grew worried. Splashing water in your face, shaking you, lifting your legs, nothing got you to wake up so instead he carried you and the jewellery back to the carnival. Two days and still you didn’t wake up. It became clear this bloody gem was cursed when dark veins started crawling up your skin as the days passed.
Since this was technically on him, Molly took care of you. He makes quite a doting nurse when he wants to be but never without an inappropriate comment or two. It was quite strange to not hear you laugh at or scold him for these comments. Nevertheless he’d fluff up the pillow beneath your head, provide you an extra blanket when the night was cold, tell you stories, or simply the events of the day, the people who came to the carnival, some things he lifted from people’s pockets and so on. Molly has to say he’s ashamed to admit he’d got frustrated with your unresponsiveness or rather the fact you still hadn’t woken up and there was nothing the others could do for you. A healer would still be a week or so out.
“You know, while I’ve really begun getting used to these little one-sided conversations and your lack of judgement at some of my more terrible decisions I really prefer sharing them with you in the moment. I’ve gotten caught by the guards twice now and without you, Gustav is getting a bit sick of bailing me out. I miss our little flirtations. I miss your sometimes wrong opinions, though you’d say they’re proven facts. I miss your company. I think our time apart has given me time to reflect how much you truly mean to me and how much I need you in my life.” Molly leans on his elbow as he studies your face unmoving. You look so peaceful and asleep but he’d much rather get lost in your eyes when you’re awake.
“I laughed at you when you told me the most valuable thing in the world anyone could ever give another is their heart but I think I know what that means now. I’ll offer you mine if you will have it. So please, come back and make sure my head doesn’t get up too high into the clouds or I might just float away.” Molly leans back looking at the ceiling of the tent with a sigh. He’s pulled out of his mind by a snicker.
“A dramatic confession of love to the unconscious target of your affections? And you call me cliche.” Molly looks at your face, eyes still closed but smug grin clear on your face. He pokes your side making you jump.
“You are insufferable.”

PLEASE STOP SLEEPING ON THIS MAN
warnings: NSFW, Obanai is a boob man, dream fucking?
words: 2,793
(a/n): I might’ve gotten carried away a bit
-
He’s always heard that sharks can smell blood on the water.
He isn’t a stranger to blood himself, used to the sightly images of gore and the rancid odor. It’s simply another part of his hellish life, bearing witness to mutilated remains of bodies and hunting down their killer.
It’s all in a day’s work.
It’s strange, though, when there aren’t any bodies to be found. Rumors of disappearances plague the night, travel from lips to ears, slowly spreading throughout the small town.
Takahashi’s daughter disappeared last night.
The doctor’s oldest son? Haven’t you heard? He’s gone.
For such a large number of people to be suddenly up and vanishing, it’s no wonder concerns have risen. It’s why Obanai’s here in the first place, determined to sniff out the culprit and promptly execute them. He’s dealt with similar cases before – finding the missing persons, only to find their remains or couple of bones – but this time… Well, it’s weird, to say the least. Not one person in this town knows where anybody could be, no strange sightings or feelings, nothing.
And, if Obanai is going to be completely honest, it’s infuriating as hell.
He’s not a patient person in the slightest. Perhaps that’s his curse and the sole reason why this case isn’t going anywhere; still, with the lingering danger hanging over these poor people’s heads, he needs to end this quickly. And so, cooped up in a small room at the town’s inn, he pours over his scribbling of notes, wondering just what kind of force he’s dealing with.
A demon’s nature can vary, depending on what kind you encounter. Obanai’s had his fair share of strange interactions – whether it be demons with multiple arms, pygmies, the facial features of a fly - he's nearly seen at all. But to take victims without leaving a single trace? That's where things get complicated.
"Dammit," Obanai grumbles, dragging a hand over his face. Kaburamaru flicks his tongue in concern, sensing his owner's unease.
This isn't going anywhere. The amount of time or effort spent trying to figure out where everyone has vanished isn't amounting to anything. How could this be? Obanai isn't some low level slayer, for gods' sakes - he's a Pillar. It shouldn't be this hard to put two and two together, yet here he is, staring blankly at his collected information. The idea of sending his crow to summon for help crosses his mind, but he hastily throws away the thought. No, that's not how this is done. He isn't willing to give up so easily.
As the hours drag further into the night, Obanai grows restless, twitchy. His striped haori sits to the side, folded neatly along with the shirt and overcoat of his uniform. Kaburamaru is already fast asleep, coiled into a tight circle at the edge of the futon. The wooden hatches of the window hang open, the night breeze drifting into the room with the sound of a singular solemn cricket.
A long, ornate kiseru dangles between his spindly fingers; it’s a rare occasion whenever Obanai smokes, so much to the point that the ones closest to him don’t even know he possesses such a fine pipe. He takes a slow drag as his he stares up at the moonlit clouds, the chilled breeze whipping the choppy strands of his hair against his bared cheeks. He wonders, truly, just how the hell he’s supposed to get to the bottom of this case if he can’t find anything to work with.
Perhaps the gods heard his woes - or he’s finally lost his mind - for an intoxicatingly sweet scent fills his senses.
Jasmine.
As far as Obanai knows, he hasn’t seen any jasmine plants when he came into town. This had to mean something - it had to. Opting his kiseru for his blade instead, he easily slips out the window, feet hitting the ground without a sound. Taking off into the night, he races through the town’s streets, eyes darting back and forth for anything out of the usual.
He comes to an abrupt stop when the scent of jasmine grows even stronger. He’s sure now that whatever he’s been looking for is here. A slight shuffling catches his attention; whipping his head to the side, a wooden hatch to a window bangs against the side of a house, but there’s no one to be seen on the other side.
“Found you,” Obanai breathes.
Rushing over to the house, he drops into a crouch as he creeps closer to the window. Jasmine floods his senses, the irresistible aroma gripping onto his consciousness and practically demanding for him to come closer. Swallowing thickly, he ignores the sudden wave of heat flushing over his body as he peeks into the darkened room. A family of five lays on the floor, their bodies moving gently with the deepened breathing of a heavy slumber. Even now, Obanai has to resist the urge to shut his eyes and succumb to the flowery scent.
Although the room is dark, he can make out a strange pillar of smoke; ah, so that’s where the origin of the smell is coming from. Is it some type of mist demon? Flower? He isn’t entirely sure, but he doesn’t have the time to care. He needs to get rid of it now.
Slowly, ever so slowly, he unsheathes his blade, not wanting to attract attention to him yet. It’s a wish in vain, though; as soon as his blade is hanging in the air, the pillar of smoke rushes towards him, slamming into him and sending him flying. Obanai grunts as his back hits the ground, the sharp edge of rocks biting into the skin.
“Don’t you know that it’s rude to sneak up on others?” a low, creamy voice drawls. Goosebumps break out across the surface of Obanai’s skin and a shiver races down his back. The smoke dissipates, then, revealing a feminine figure.
Obanai’s breath catches in his throat. This demon - you - are unlike any other he’s encountered. Immediately, his eyes latch onto the pair of horns protruding from your skull, pearly at the tip and then fading into ebony. You’re strikingly beautiful, facial features soft yet demanding. Embarrassment warms Obanai’s face as his eyes drift across the curves of your body; your breasts swell over the tight, strappy top while the entirety of your legs and hips frame the long loincloth-like garment between your legs. Both your arms and legs have the same pearly sheen towards the end, just like your horns.
By the gods, you’re ethereal, even if the claws on your fingers could easily tear Obanai’s throat out.
“So is breaking into other’s homes,” Obanai manages to croak. Bringing himself to a stand, he takes a defensive stance, his blade held out before him. He feels strangely heavy, almost like his body craves to stay flat on his back.
Much to his surprise, you pout at him, arms crossing beneath your chest and pushing your breasts further up. “But it gets so lonely at night, you know?” you say, that seductive lilt in your voice deepening. At that, you make a show of sweeping your eyes over Obanai’s bare torso, and a slight smile grows on your pretty lips.
Obanai clears his throat. He can’t let himself fall for your tricks, no matter how incredible you smell or alluring you look. If these are the methods you rely on, chances are you’re a weaker demon.
“What did you do with the missing persons?” he asks, eyes narrowing.
“Missing persons? Is that what they’re calling them?” you say, a giggle following your words.
Obanai growls at your nonchalant confession. If there’s one thing he can’t stand about demons, it’s their inability of basic human emotion, the inability of compassion. Yeah, he decides that your head is going to look even better once it’s separated from your body.
“You see, pretty boy,” you purr, pressing a hand to your throat and dragging it downwards, brushing over a luscious breast and tracing over your exposed tummy, “in return for making their dreams come true, I get to have a snack.”
“Enough,” Obanai grunts, switching to an offensive stance. “Maybe I’ll be gracious enough to meet you in hell someday.”
Before you even have a chance to react, Obanai springs into action, launching himself off the group in a great leap, lungs tightening as he releases a breath form.
It doesn’t hit.
It doesn’t fucking hit.
In fact, you’re nowhere in sight. Instead of the dusty, moonlit road, Obanai finds himself in an onsen; a great bamboo pavilion stands tall above the pool of water, blocking the golden rays of sunshine from hitting him. Thin trees are scattered about the area, riddled with stone lanterns and garden rocks covered in moss. With a chorus of birds singing overhead, it’s like he’s in an entire new world.
Muttering to himself, Obanai scans his surroundings, wracking his brain and trying to figure just what the hell happened. One moment, he’s about to slice your head clean off and put an end to your terror - the next, he’s in broad daylight in some overt paradise.
“Your dreams are beautiful,” that wonderful, wonderful voice of yours speaks.
Whirling around, Obanai sends splashes of water flying. “What did you do to me?” he spits.
You flash him a sly smile. “Why, I merely put you to sleep, pretty boy. Can’t be much of a threat if you’re not wide awake, no?”
Obanai curses under his breath. Of course you’re a dream demon - no wonder why there hasn’t been any bodies turning up. If only he had acted faster, got here sooner, more lives could’ve been saved. With a huff, he slithers further away from you, sinking below the water until only his face can be seen. “So what now? You’re going to try to kill me in my sleep? That’s a low blow and you know it.”
Sucking air through your teeth, you shake your head. Now that the two of you are no longer shrouded by darkness, Obanai really gets a good look of how utterly stunning you are. Again, he curses himself out, calling himself a fool for thinking such things when he should be killing you instead.
“Your blade isn’t here, if that’s what you’re wondering,” you tell him, a look of mischief crossing your features. “Silly boy - this a time meant for the two of us, not for you to end my forsaken life. Allow me to help you... relax.”
As you step to the edge of the onsen, Obanai finally notices the feeling of water caressing his thighs, his bare buttocks. You just had to make him naked in his dream, huh? What are you trying to accomplish, anyway? His eyes widen incredulously as your hands find their place on your torso, slinking over the swell of your breasts and around your neck; with a simple tug, your top comes loose. You merely let the garment fall to the rocks below, a small ‘oops’ slipping from our mouth.
Heat immediately floods to Obanai’s face and his groin; his insides squeeze in on themselves and he swallows thickly, thankful for the hidden protection the water provides. The look on your face is simply irresistible. Hell, even your breasts are as pretty as he imagined-
Shit, he inwardly curses, I shouldn’t be thinking like that.
But oh, you’re just so tempting, your hands squeezing your breasts, fingers rolling your hardening nipples as you stare directly at his flushed face. “Pretty boy,” you purr, “what’s your name?”
“Obanai.”
It’s out before he even knows it.
“Obanai...”
He really likes the way it rolls off your tongue, the dark glint in your eyes as you say it. Perhaps you can tell by his reaction alone - or maybe you like saying it - but you repeat his name, once, twice, thrice, and fuck does it drive Obanai insane. And then you’re reaching down, unfastening your lower garment and dropping it unceremoniously to the ground. Obanai’s cock twitches at the sight of your glorious body, the soft curves and glowing skin.
“Naughty boy, my eyes are up here,” you say. Again, you squeeze those beautiful fucking tits, a soft groan spilling from your lips. Obanai nearly goes feral from the sound; without further thought, he wades over to where you are. Jasmine clings in his nostrils, clouds his mind in a delicious haze, and he loves it.
You’re all too willing to meet his touch, body slipping into the heated water as he wraps his arms around you possessively. His body kicks into autopilot, mind going blank as he presses his lips to your throat. He should rip your throat out with his teeth, but there’s something magical about the way you arch into his touch, breasts pushing lewdly against his chest.
“Fucking-”
“Yes.”
A breathy moan spills from your lips as Obanai kneads your pretty tits, long fingers gripping possessively, wantingly. It’s almost ridiculous how hard he already is, his cock sandwiched between your bodies. He jolts as your hands land on his face, thumbs brushing against the ragged scars lining either sides of his mouth.
“Don’t,” he grits, but it goes ignored. The air is sucked from his lungs as you brush your lips over his scars, murmuring something about how pretty he is before stopping at his mouth. You kiss him fervently, clawed fingers scratching his shoulders as you tongue the inside of his mouth. You swallow the husky groan that spills from his mouth, hand dropping down from his shoulder and wrapping around his hardening cock.
“Ah, shit,” Obanai murmurs into your mouth.
“Tell me what you want, pretty boy,” you whisper, hand slowly jerking on his cock. His breathing picks up as you quicken your pace, the water rippling with the movements of your wrists. “Your wish is my command.”
“Gods, you’re such a fucking tease,” he pants, eyes practically glowing against the pink hue of his face. Ducking his head, he sucks a nipple into his mouth, the wet warmth enveloping your breast and eliciting a delicious moan from you. Obanai wastes no more time, opting to prop you in his lap and pressing your back against a smooth stone. “I shouldn’t... but fuck...”
“It doesn’t seem like you’re angry with me anymore,” you husk in that damned sexy voice. A moan bubbles from your throat as Obanai starts rocking against you, cock slipping against your folds. It’ll only take a little push for him to fill that pretty cunt of yours, to stuff you full of his cock and fuck you raw. It’s what he wants.
“Shut up,” he grunts, mouth latching onto your nipple, his hand beginning to play with the other. A low, drawn out curse gets muffled by your chest as he finally slips his cock into you; it shouldn’t be physically possible, but your velvety walls seemingly clench around him and suck him in, your arousal making the slide impossibly easy. He hiccups on a breath, his entire body twitching as he pants.
“The thing about succubi,” you drawl, sharp nails tracing down his spine, over the muscles in his back, “is that we’re the demons of sex and dreams. Oh, pretty baby, how much I’ve lucked out. Everyone else seemed like an appetizer - and you...” You pause, suck air between your teeth. “You’re like the damn main course.”
A helpless little grunt graces your ear as you fuck yourself on Obanai’s cock. His hips match your movements, your sopping cunt eagerly sucking him back in and squeezing around him. You’re so damn wet that it’s infuriating; Obanai wants more, more of your touch, your voice, that sweet scent clogging his senses. He can’t bring himself to stop touching your breasts, whether if it’s his hands or mouth. They bounce with the erratic rhythm of your hips, way too beautiful and hypnotizing.
A breathless whine breaks through your cute little pants whenever Obanai smacks a hand against the ample flesh of your ass. “Is that you meant when you said you make others’ wishes come true? Have them fuck that tight pussy of yours? Huh?”
“Obanai, don’t be mean,” you pout.
“Says a fucking demon that eats people.”
You hiss as his cockhead hits against your g-spot. “I can eat you too, so don’t get cocky, pretty boy.”
Obanai clicks his tongue, his brows furrowing. “You better keep that promise,” he grunts, thumb grazing your bottom lip. “I won’t take no for an answer.” He growls as your walls clench around him.
“If that’s your wish, Master,” you purr, a slight chuckle following your words, “then it is my command.”

Burnt Toast:
Trigger Warnings: Swearing, Angst.
Word Count: 4,226
Characters: Polly Gray + The Shelby Siblings x Shelby!Sister Reader
Requested: Yes
Requested by: @atjafshelby, I hope you like it love!
Summary: After seeing her family turn to a life of crime, one incident causes Y/N to finally leave Small Heath in a desperate attempt to rid herself of the Shelby name. But when the family makes a sudden appearance after years of no contact, she soon realizes she’s not the only one with news to bear.
“Kids! Breakfast is ready!” Shouted Y/N from the kitchen, the smell of toast and crackling bacon snaking it’s way through the two story town house in the middle of suburban Manhattan. The sight of the meal reminding her of home when she’d help cook, practicing her craft until she rarely made burnt toast. The voice of her aunt telling her how long to toast it so it would be perfect, even if the family eating it was far from so.
As she prepared the table, the scurrying of little feet pattering away on the floorboards filled the room as they sprinted down the lavish hall. Giggles erupting as two bright eyed girls climbed into their seats.
“Now girls, you both have to get ready quickly today alright? I have some errands to run.” Y/N said, placing a mug of coffee in front of herself. Heavy footsteps came trotting down the stairs as her husband, a man of status in the banking industry, waltzed into the room.
“Morning love. I have to go in early today. Are you sure you and the girls are okay?” He asked, adjusting his tie.
“Yes, I’m going to take them with me. I have some...personal matters to attend to.” She said, her tone dropping slightly as the girls played with their food.
“I know plenty of children back home who’d love to eat what you’re playing with, now stop it...” She said sternly, memories of her mother swatting her hand when she’d go to eat with her fingers instead of the silverware.
“Is it your family again?” He asked, brushing a stray hair from her face as he sat down next to her.
“Yes.” She said, taking a sip of her coffee as her hands shook, the anxiety of ever seeing them again gnawing at her brain.
It seemed like only yesterday that it happened. Her younger brothers running out of the old shop in Small Heath to go on a another mission after their fathers business had been left on their shoulders after the war. The sight later that night making her swear off violence all-together.
Her younger brothers had a knack for messing with the wrong people, even before the war changed them. John was the feisty one, always rough-housing with the boys and bullies on the streets, always pestering her and Ada as they chased rats through town. “I’m trying to help you defend yourself sis! Don’t be such a baby!” He’d say after tackling her to the ground where she’d cry and hesitate to fight back, Ada always punching him in the shoulder to stop as their aunt Polly would come running out of the house with the Devil in her eyes.
“You’re too sweet for your own good, Y/N. Too sweet to be a Shelby.” Polly would say while bandaging any cuts or scrapes.
“You sure as hell didn’t get it from your father...” She’d say, looking at the oldest Shelby girl with a mixture of awe and pity. Y/N resembled her mother more often than not, her temper only shining through in certain situations. But she never thought she’d lose it like she did that night.
It was the night of her first real date, Polly helping brush her hair as she flipped through an old book she’d found in their house.
"That Tommy’s?” Polly would ask, looking at the cover to see a horse running wild in a field.
“Yeah.” She’d say, wishing she could be free like the horse.
“Where are you meeting this young man, Y/N?” Polly asked after a moment of silence.
“The pub down the road.” She said shortly. She remembered Polly’s grip on her hair tightening at the mention of it.
“Ow! What is it?” She asked yanking herself free and turning to look at her aunt.
“D-don’t go. Please don’t.” She said, a fearful look in her eyes.
“Why? Arthur, Tommy, and John get to go anywhere in town and I can’t?!” She said, angrily putting her hair up herself and adjusting her dress.
“It’s not safe...” Polly said, walking down the hall.
“Right...so you want to lecture me on what’s safe because I’m so nice aye? What do you fucking see in me anyway?” She asked loudly. She never really raised her voice to Polly, fearing her to a slight degree. But as her younger brothers went out on business more often, she was practically shoved away, only being able to see Ada and Finn even though she was the oldest.
Polly’s eyes welled up with tears as she spoke.
“I see hope for this god-forsaken family. You have more control over yourself than I care to admit and I can’t bare to see you squander it all away by becoming one of them. You should live for yourself, at least then one of us in this family would be doing something good for a change.” She said, sauntering off into the kitchen.
“Tommy’s planning something isn’t he? That’s why you don’t want me to go on the date.” She said, following her into the kitchen with tears in her eyes. Even if she was older than Arthur by two years, he and the rest of them never stopped being over-protective.
“Yes.” Was all Polly said before Y/N ran out the door. If she wanted her to live for herself then she was going to do as she pleased. She was tired of being seen as some family secret, some mystery sibling that was different. She never liked the violence she grew up in but was that such a crime? To know how to not hurt people? To be able to know when to call it quits? These were thoughts she still struggled with as she looked at her two little girls getting up from the table and racing up the stairs. Their hair wild and smiles a mile long. Carefree like she always dreamed of being, and like most of her aunts family always claimed to be.
“I want you girls ready in 10 minutes!” Y/N yelled as the girls moved about upstairs, her husbands voice breaking her from her thoughts.
“Well I’m off love. I’ll see you all at my lunch break.” He said, kissing her goodbye and heading off to his ordinary job. Despite him being successful and full of money himself, she couldn’t shake the fact that they led very different lives before they met. He’d go off to college while she stayed and helped Polly with Finn, and Ada occasionally staying to help as she was always wanting to be out and about. While he grew up with a silver spoon, she grew up with rusted broken ones. She couldn’t for the life her know why he chose her, maybe it was luck? But nevertheless they worked out together and she was grateful no matter how many times her past haunted her.
As she cleaned up the kitchen, she fell back onto the memories from years ago. Her heart still aching like it was yesterday.
Remembering herself sprinting towards the pub where her new date had agreed to meet her, seeing a rowdy group of men near the entrance. The sharp sound of bottles breaking and slurs being spewed as she warily made her way over. Her eyes landed on her date and her stomach dropped. Arthur was holding him by the neck as Tommy pulled off his cap, slashing the mans face open in one fell swoop.
Y/N’s screams soon pierced the air as she saw him fall limp to the ground, Tommy finishing him off with a harsh twist of his neck.
The blinders all looked up to see their older sister just mere feet away from their mess. Without thinking, she ran over to the man she had grown to know, his face almost unrecognizable after what they’d done to him. As she cradled him, her eyes blurred with tears as her brothers stood in silence, the rain washing the mans blood off Tommy and Arthur’s hands as they waited for her to speak.
“Tommy...” She said, seeing red as she started at the man she once knew, lying dead on the cold pavement.
Her brother walked over, a tired look in his eyes as he crouched down to her level and put his cap back on.
“We had to do it Y/N...” He said, trying to reach for her hand.
Without warning she slapped him across the face with all the strength she could muster. Her hand stinging with the impact.
Polly came running in the distance, stopping near John who’d been holding his rifle as he sat against the wall of the pub.
As she got up, she wiped the blood on her clothes as she stared down her brother. A red handprint forming on his cheek as she neared him. With one hand she took his arm and with the other she grabbed Arthur’s hand, leading them near Polly and John.
“I knew him you know. How was he so bad that you had to kill him? Why was this part of your fucking plan?!” She yelled as they all looked at her with sorry expressions.
“He was working with Kimber’s men. Remember him?” John asked.
She got closer to John as she spoke, her arms folded in frustration.
“No John. I don’t remember. I wasn’t part of the family meetings...remember that?” She asked, knowing they always kept her, Ada, and little Finn in the dark ‘for their safety.’
“He was bad Y/N...” Tommy said, sticking a cigarette in his mouth.
“Like you all are any better. You didn’t even know him!” She shouted.
“Y/N love, please calm down. We had leads on him. He was trying to get with ya in order to get to us.” Arthur said.
“No...he wouldn’t.” She said, shaking her head as her tears fell.
“He did. Not everyone has a good heart like yours alright?” Tommy said, lighting a cigarette.
“You know what? Fuck the lot of you!” She yelled, her eyes boring into Tommy’s specifically.
“I can’t even look at you all anymore. You took away my one shot at meeting someone that wasn’t associated with this family and you all ruined it. You all ruined everything I’ve ever tried to do and here I am, the oldest fucking Shelby and I can’t even leave me own house.” She said, giving a side eye to Polly. As she spoke she remembered her aunts words, her eyes tearing up as she spat out her frantic goodbyes.
“You know what? I’m listening to what you said Pol. I’m going to go live for myself and I don’t want any of you to come for me. I can’t stand to be around any of ya. Goodbye.” She said, walking through the familiar dark streets for what felt like the last time.
“Mum? We’re ready!” She heard her oldest yell from the front door, ripping her from her thoughts.
“Alright, c’mere you.” She said, swooping her youngest up in her arms and walking out the door. As she walked with her oldest hand in hand they noticed the rain falling slightly as the city life bustled around them.
“I wish daddy didn’t take the car. He’ll be at his lunch break before we get there.” The oldest girl said, her white dress flowing in the wind.
“We’re going right up to the bank. He’ll be there. I promise.” She said, her nerves getting to her as they entered the tall building.
“I got a call about a check being sent from Polly Gray?” She asked the teller.
“Ah yes! Here you are. She also left a note.” She said, handing her the envelope.
Y/N’s eyes widened at the figures on the check, having to clutch the desk for support.
“Jesus fucking christ.” She said quietly.
“Jesus fuckin cwist!” Her youngest mumbled excitedly.
“Hey! We don’t say that.” She said smirking down at the little girl.
“Darling! Didn’t expect you to be here so early!” Her husband said as he stepped out of his office.
“This was uh...one of the errands. Can we go outside for a moment?” She asked.
“What’s wrong?” He asked, looking at her with concern.
“Oh um...it seems me aunt gave us a check for...$100,000.” She said.
“My god...you’re kidding. How did they get that kind of money?” He asked, even though they were well-off in New York it was still a shock, especially since the shop back home was far from successful all those years ago.
“Oh...you don’t want to know.” She said, her eyes scanning over the letter.
“Dear Y/N,
I know you don’t want to hear from any of us especially after so long, but we wanted to let you know we’re planning a visit to New York. We have some business to take care of and Tommy saw it best to come there personally. We’d love to meet up upon our arrival if you’d like. We have some unfortunate matters we’d like to discuss. In the meantime though, I wanted to gift you this check, seeing as we’ve come into more than enough good fortune over the years.
With love,
Aunt Pol”
“I have to get to a phone. Watch the girls please? I’ll be back.” She said, running inside the bank.
“What’s mummy doing?” Their oldest asked.
“Calling her family.” He said, holding her hand.
“She has a family? Like us but somewhere else?” She asked.
“Yeah...” He said, not knowing much about them as well. She’d kept that part of her life a secret for a while, but she’d let a few things slip every now and then, and she always got a check from Polly despite her refusing her help, but they never got one for this much before.
“Shelby Company Limited.” The woman said over the phone.
“Yes, this is Y/N...Y/N Johnson-I mean...Shelby. Y/N Shelby....is Polly there?”
“I’m sorry miss. The family has left for America, they’re expected in New York at noon.” She said.
“Alright, thank you.” She said, her watch ticked towards noon at a fast pace, knowing they’d be arriving soon.
“Girls were taking a trip. We uh...have to meet some of my family.” She said rushing out of the bank, scooping their youngest up in her arms with the others following.
“We need to get to customs, now.” She said, hurrying towards her husbands car.
Within the next 30 minutes they’d scrambled to get there, seeing the passengers get off the ship in groups. Her heart sped up as she saw her family, more dressed up now than before, but still the same tired features give or take Finn growing up before her eyes.
“Stay here you three. It’s going to be a moment.” She said, taking a shaky breath as she walked towards them.
“Y/N? Is that you?” She heard Polly call out. She stood frozen as they walked to her, her eyes brimming with tears.
“Hello Polly.” She said with a small smile, her tears plummeting to the ground as she gave her a warm hug.
“Oi! Is that really you?! Look at ya!” Arthur said with a smile.
“Yeah it’s me. Same old Y/N.” She said, wiping her tears as her brother Tommy stared at her.
“Cat got your tongue brother?” She asked, he gave her a hug but it was half-hearted at best.
“Right...so what are you lot doing here aye? Why’d you send us all that money?” She asked looking at them, Tommy’s eyes were more dead than all those years ago. She couldn’t shake the feeling something had happened as Polly spoke.
“Can we talk about this somewhere private at least? We just got here love...” Polly said.
Y/N sighed as she turned to her little family, the ring on her finger glinting in the sun as she nodded.
“Of course...follow me. I uh, have some people I want you to meet.” She said.
“Y/N...” Polly said in a shocked whisper as she saw the two girls and her husband standing there looking at them with smiles on their faces.
“This is my husband. His name is Charles Johnson, he’s a banker in Manhattan. And these are our girls. Jane is 7, Polly is 3.” She said, picking the little girl up as she giggled and waved at them.
“You...you never told us you’d met someone. Never told us you’d gotten married...Never told us you had children...” Polly said, waving at the girls.
“Well the street goes both ways. Didn’t know you got married aye Tom...” She said nodding to him, he lit a cigarette as they walked ahead. The tension growing in the air as she nervously took her husbands hand.
“It’s complicated, but yes I did.” He said shortly, the smoke wafting through the air.
“No smoking...please.” She said, her girls looking curiously at the man with piercing blue eyes.
“You serious?” He asked.
“Yes, the girls don’t like it. You’re such a grump though love. You’ve turned into an old man, older than Arthur even. Jesus.” She said, none the wiser to what they’d all been through over the years. Tommy just nodded with a slight smirk, knowing his past couple years would’ve destroyed her.
As the Shelby’s made small talk with the little girls, Charles got them a ride to their house, the bustling city taking them a little bit by surprise.
“I don’t know how you live here. It’s hectic.” Polly said, sitting in a small armchair in their living room.
“Well you wanted me to live my life for me Pol. I came here and I loved it. Never saw a reason to move.” She said, pouring her a glass of wine.
“Anyone want a drink?” She asked as her worse-for-wear brothers sat around.
“Now there’s our sister. You got whiskey?” Arthur asked.
“Did you think I left all of Birmingham behind? Of course I do.” She said, pouring out a couple glasses and handing them out. Her husband taking one and giving her a small peck on the cheek, Tommy staring him down for a moment before she came to him with a glass.
“What kind?” Tommy asked before drinking it.
“Irish...what else would it be? You taught me that.” She said with a smirk.
“Right...” He said, fixing his golden glasses.
“So tell me, what’s life been like here? It seems...grand.” Polly said looking around the place as the girls ran around giggling.
“Jane! Polly! No running in the house...go out to the courtyard.” She said, taking a sip of her whiskey.
“You named the little one Polly? I’m touched.” She said, sipping her wine.
Y/N sighed before she spoke, her husband sitting near her on the large sofa, holding her hand as he knew she had some things to get off her chest.
“Look...I was....angry. I was angry at the world when I left and...I’ve held onto that for so long it’s eaten me up. I know you all don’t care for me now, hell I wasn’t invited to anything anyways, but I did the same. I did this for me. And I’m happy here. I’m happy with my children. I named her Polly because even though we wanted to rip each other’s throats out some days, you were the one that helped me realize who I wanted to be. You helped raise me and I couldn’t not name her after someone I loved dearly.” She said, the room falling silent.
“You want us to forgive you?” Tommy asked.
“No. Honestly Tommy I’m still trying to forgive you. It was because of you all that I watched you kill him. I moved here so you’d never take people away from me again, but no I’m not looking for forgiveness or anything, I just want it behind us.” She said finishing off her whiskey.
“That was for your protection, love. You can understand that now at least, since you have your own children now.” Polly said, clasping her hand over hers.
“I can. But I wouldn’t kill someone. That’s how we’re different. I’ve told Charles about it, because I’ve always been the nice one. He may think otherwise though.” She said smirking at her husband.
“But, I’ve tried to move on. I just want you all to know I’m happy and I’m honestly not that hurt by it anymore. I’m just plagued with the memories that’s all.” She said.
“What about back home? How’s Ada? I’m assuming she’s with her kid...Karl right?” She asked, trying to change the subject.
“Yes. She has another on the way as well. Different father. Deceased though.”
“That’s too bad, I know she’s probably torn up, the poor thing. Give her a hug for me will ya? God I haven’t seen her in so long.” She said and Polly nodded.
“What about John? Where’s the cheeky bastard at anyway?” She asked. Polly teared up as Tommy held her hand, which he never did unless it was something important.
“He....he got shot. One of the mafias with a vendetta against us got him...it was recent enough that we figured we’d come to tell you.” He said.
“No.” She said, getting up quickly.
“No...no I-I said the most hateful things the last time I saw him. He can’t be...” She said as tears poured down her face.
“Hey....shh it’s alright darling.” Her husband said attempting to comfort her as she clung to him, her tears staining his expensive suit as Arthur and the rest looked away, their hearts growing heavy after re-hashing the news.
“I’m sorry we didn’t tell you sooner. We couldn’t get to you in time for the funeral though, love.” Polly said, walking over.
“I have to sit down.” She said, her face paling as she sat on the sofa.
Her hands shook as she wiped her tears away. Polly kissed her forehead as she walked outside, observing the little girls as they played in the garden to keep from breaking down as well.
As Y/N settled down, she took another shot of whiskey, wincing at the burn of it going down. Since having her kids and working, she didn’t have as much time to drink, at least not like they did back home.
“I should’ve came back sooner...I-I should’ve written you all more often.” She said.
“Y/N that wouldn’t have changed much. We’re just happy you’re happy alright love?” Arthur said, patting her on the back.
“Yeah...” She said.
“Say...I know you all are tired. Would you all care to stay? We have enough room...” Charles asked as Polly walked in with the girls.
“Mum! Who that?” Little Polly asked in her sweet voice.
“Hello! Oh you silly girls! I hope you loved meeting Polly! These are your uncles, Arthur, Tommy, and Finn.” She said wiping her tears away as they came in, letting them walk over to them. Tommy smiled at them and put on his best kind expression, knowing how impressionable kids were.
“So uhm...Tommy do you have kids?” Y/N asked, circling back to the ring on his finger and trying to lighten the conversation.
“Yeah. I have a boy name Charlie, and a girl named Ruby. Charlie’s mum was uh...shot...by the mafia, Lizzie is well, she’s working at the office and helping with little Ruby.” He said.
“Shot! Jesus fuckin cwist!” Little Polly squealed out.
Y/N’s mouth dropped as she picked her up. Arthur and eventually everyone erupted in laughter.
“We do not say that Polly! Don’t repeat bad words!” Y/N scolded her, trying to hold back her own laugh in the process.
“I’m sorry about your first wife Tom...I’m also sorry little Polly over here has the mouth of a sailor.” She said playfully eyeing her daughter and giving her brother a pat on the shoulder.
“It’s alright love. Things happen aye?” He said, his heart still hurting after the loss, but warming at the sight of his little happy and not so nicely-mouthed nieces.
“Maybe we can visit the rest of the family sometime? I’m sure we can arrange that.” She asked looking at her husband.
“Of course! We’d um...we’d like that. Very much.” Polly said a genuine smile on her face as she watched her niece with her children.
“I’m so glad you’re doing well for yourself dear. Truly. We all are, and if we haven’t said it yet, welcome to the family Charles.” Polly said, shaking his hand.
“My offer still stands though by the way...” Charles said after a moment.
“What’s that aye?” Tommy asked, finally loosening up a bit.
“You all can stay here. You all aren’t the only ones with big houses you know. You’re family after all.” Y/N said.
“Well it’s not like we have anywhere else to go. What to do you say?” Polly asked, looking at Tommy. He smirked a bit before answering, Y/N could see the conditions he’d have with their stay floating around in his head.
“Alright...As long as we get to have the toast you always made. I’ve hired many a housemaid and none of them could make it like you do, they always burn it up.” He said.
She chuckled at the memory, always making a bunch of it in the mornings before they’d all go running off in the streets.
“Deal.” She said, giving him a small smile, knowing that even after all the years and all the losses, she knew she could never fully be away from family.

Breaking Point
Edit: this was originally called ‘Wild Angst Oneshot’ as I couldn’t think of a name, but due to a great suggestion by Narutofan8762 on AO3, it’s now titled ‘Breaking Point’.
I was scrolling on tiktok and saw an acting video with an audio that was from Supergirl, basically yelling at someone who had abandoned her and my brain immediately went ‘Wild yelling at Hylia!’ So I had to try and write this, and then I turned it into a Linked Universe fic because I’m kinda obsessed.
Under the cut, because as usual, my oneshots tend to get pretty long, pretty quickly...
***
She was cold.
That was all he could think as his heart thundered in his chest. She was cold in his arms.
He had finally defeated Calamity Ganon and as the beast finally disappeared from the land that it had long tormented, she had appeared. Zelda was finally free.
He had been running towards her before he even realised and had pulled the princess into a hug with repeated apologies falling from his dry, cracked lips.
Zelda had wrapped her arms back around him and managed to speak into his ear before she went limp in his arms. He had let his body move down to the ground to keep her cradled in his arms, but it was too late.
As soon as he took her face in his hands, the light left her eyes and she breathed her last.
That was how he stayed for hours. In the middle of Hyrule Field, with the body of the woman he was supposed to protect as he cried and her final words repeated over and over in his mind.
“You have nothing to apologise for, Link. You saved us all”
***
Several hours later, found her body draped across his lap, with one of his hands gently holding the back of her head and the other wrapped around her back, while he rocked back and forth as he cried out his grief to the world. He had sat there and screaming and crying for hours over her body.
Then when morning came, he picked up Zelda’s body, called over his horse and began the long trek back to Kakariko Village.
***
Impa had been distressed to see the princess’ body, and it wasn’t helped by the state of Link’s injuries that he had neglected in his grief. A broken arm, 4 cracked ribs, scrapes, bruises, and a concussion.
Impa had insisted that he stay in Kakariko while he healed and the funeral was planned. The time seemed to go by in a blink and before he knew it, the day of the funeral arrived. In a strange turn from the blur of the past few days, the ceremony seemed to last longer than the hundred years he’d slept as Link watched the body of the one he swore protect be laid to rest.
Link was just thankful that the gravesite had been moved from the original plan to bury her near the remnants of the castle, but he couldn’t bear to lay her body to rest in the place where she’d been trapped for a hundred years. She was being buried by the pond atop Satori Mountain. Link had regained a memory of visiting it with Zelda and she’d been amazed by it, so he had brought up the idea of burying her there with Impa, who had agreed to his signing and changed the plans.
Once the ceremony had concluded, Impa had invited Link stay in Kakariko and after a while, he had surprisingly accepted the offer. However, Impa didn’t tell him that she was scared he may do something drastic and he did, just not in the way anyone expected.
He just stayed in the spare house he was staying in, seemingly okay with secluding himself away from the rest of the world. Thoughts of his failure and weakness became his only constant companion as he wouldn’t leave the house for anyone. No matter who came to see him, he wouldn’t answer and if someone journeyed inside, he wouldn’t reply to any questions. And the more they tried to help, the more he pulled away. Eventually, Impa had to ask everyone to keep monitoring him but to leave him alone, out of fear that he may run away and never been seen again if they pushed too much.
They still tried to help, but in little ways that included minimal interaction, if they even saw him. Food would be left outside the door for him and it would be eaten, but only just enough to keep himself alive. He would train and practice constantly during the day and the nights where he couldn’t sleep for fear of failing Hyrule again, often passing out in the middle of the floor sometimes for desperately needed rest.
And that was the way it stayed for six months. A constant cycle of self-loathing and punishing himself for not being good enough.
Until a gang of travelers had walked into Kakariko.
***
“We’ve been walking for ages.” Wind complained as he panted with his hands on his knees and he wasn’t the only one. The group had been walking for almost an entire day and still hadn’t found a settlement or village to rest at, and they’d found this Hyrule’s Beadle who had given them directions, but the group was questioning how accurate they were.
“Well Beadle said Kakariko was this way and he said it wasn’t far, but I think he was just trying to get rid of us before Sky bought all his bugs.” Warrior joked as he stood beside Sky, who elbowed him in the side.
“Come on, he said we should be there by midday if we were quick enough and then we can rest there.” Time chimed in from his place walking at the front of the ground. There were several groans but no more complaints as they continued walking.
It was around two hours later when they finally saw the entrance to this Hyrule’s version of Kakariko Village and upon seeing it, the groups let out several sighs of relief as they journeyed inside.
There were only a few people around the village from what Twilight could see. As he walked in, he spotted a man painting, a little girl sitting by a fire, another younger girl running around and some guards standing in front of a set of stairs that lead up to a building.
“Okay, we should ask later and see if we can find this Hyrule’s hero.” Twilight suggested as he turned around to face the rest of the group, who were all surveying the village as well.
“You’re looking for the hero?” A small voice came from behind him and as he turned, he saw the little girl that was running around a moment ago.
“Yeah, we are. Do you know where he is?” Wind asked the girl.
“Yes, but daddy says he’s ill so he never leaves the house.” The little girl answered before they heard another voice and a man came over to join them.
“I’m sorry sirs, I hope my daughter wasn’t being any trouble.” He said as he looked down lovingly at the girl.
“Oh no sir. She was just telling us where we could find someone that we are looking for.” Time replied.
“Well, perhaps I may be able to offer you some more assistance. Who are you looking for?” The man asked kindly.
“We’re looking for the hero, presumably goes by the name ‘Link’.” Legend spoke up and it was quite jarring to see how quickly the smile left the man’s face.
“You should all come with me.” The smile didn’t return.
***
They’d been herded into a house at the top of a long staircase after that and introduced to this Hyrule’s Impa. She had quickly filled them in on the situation as much as she could and it was a lot to take in.
The land had been decimated by this Hyrule’s Ganon and had suffered for a hundred years, until Link could finally defeat him. (she hadn’t told them about Wild’s death. That would be something for the boy to explain on his own terms. Impa tried to give him control over the very little that he had a say in. She wouldn’t take this explanation away from him too.)
They’d then been left alone in the room and were trying to think of how to approach this new Link when Legend spoke up.
“You heard how they talked about him! How are we supposed to break it to him? Huh, just dump it on him when these guys have said that he’s ill.” Legend snapped. “Hey, we’re all reincarnations of the hero and we’ve all defeated some kind of evil that has threatened our Hyrules. Now Hylia is grouping us all together on a new quest so we can figure out who is behind all these black blooded monsters and stop them. If she’s brought us here then we need you to help us. You’ll probably need to say your goodbyes because she’ll make you join us whether you want to or not. How does that sound?” He snapped sarcastically, already done with the situation.
But nobody spoke, not even to scold him for his outburst and Legend turned around to see this Hyrule’s Link standing in the room’s doorway, presumably having just heard his rant about their quest.
Fuck.
But that wasn’t the worst part of the situation. The worst part of the situation was this Link’s appearance.
The group didn’t know what was worse about it. The painful looking scars that covered part of his left cheek creeping up to cover his ear and snaking down his neck to presumably cover his body as well, or the blank look of numbness on the boy’s face. He had walked in with Paya as he stared into the distance at nothing, seemingly oblivious to his surroundings as he stood there. Warriors had been closest and he recognised the look in this Link’s eyes. It was the look of someone who had completely given up and retreated from the world. He’d seen it on lots of fellow soldiers on the battlefield and off it. Men who’d retreated into their heads because the war was too scarring.
That was when the new Link had pulled something from his belt and vanished in shards of glowing blue light, teleporting away before anyone could even say anything.
“Great. Now what do we do?” Wind questioned, unsure of how to precede.
“I fear there is nothing we can do, apart from wait for his return.” This Hyrules Impa spoke up. “Link knows how to hide when he doesn’t want to be found and the more we try to force our company into him, the more he resists it.” The group were reluctant to accept this at all, but eventually conceded after Impa told them that he would probably return soon, once he got his head around what was going on and came up with a plan. (She didn’t tell them that she was even more worried about Link then they were.)
***
Link walked through Hateno Village as he headed towards the house he had bought almost a year ago, hoping that one day he may be able to take Zelda there. However, that would never happen now.
The wooden bridge beneath him creaked as he moved across it. His eyes now set on the item before him that was his reason for coming here at all. He strode fowards and wrapped his hands around it before it vanished in streams of blue light into his slate. He opened the map, selected his next location and disappeared.
Leaving Bolson and Karson behind as they looked at each other worriedly. They hadn’t seen him in months and he hadn’t even seemed to hear them calling his name.
***
He walked inside with the sledgehammer he had taken from outside his house as he set his sights on the aim of his journey.
The statue of the goddess Hylia, in the Temple of Time.
The goddess who had ignored her peoples suffering. Who had left her people to die. Who had let everyone he knew die. Who had ignored Zelda’s prayers and pleas for her help with her dormant powers, and had ignored his silent pleas for years.
Who was now demanding his help again, threatening to rip his world away from him once again if he refused.
Walking to the base of the statue and shifting his stance, he swung the hammer into the side of it. Before pulling it back and hitting it over and over and over again, parts of the ancient statue crumbling to the ground as the hero released his fury.
“You were supposed to protect us! You were supposed to protect your people! Protect the land and people you created!” He screamed the first words he had said in months, his voice hoarse and rough in his throat. “You were supposed to protect her! She trusted you, she believed in you!” His voice cracked and his throat ached as he yelled, unused to being used at such a loud volume.
Then he stopped and let the head of the sledgehammer rest on the floor as Link realised something.
“I... I believed in you.” It was practically a whisper.
“I trusted you.” It was louder now.
“I trusted you! I thought you’d help us. I thought you’d help me, but you abandoned us! You just left us all to die! You let me die!” He couldn’t breathe because he had trusted her and look where that trust had gotten him.
Nowhere.
“I lost everything.” He thought outloud.
“Do you hear me? I’ve lost everything because of you and your stupid quest!” His ears were ringing as he started screaming again as the hammer was back striking at the statue of the goddess even harder then before.
“I lost my family!” A family he couldn’t even remember.
“I lost my home!” Another place thats memories were lost to him.
“I lost everyone I’ve ever cared about!” That was something he could only assume. He must of had a family at some point, maybe even some friends? He just didn’t know.
“Daruk” His back throbbed with phantom pain in memory of how hard his congratulatory back ‘pats’ were. How loud his voice was, even when he was trying to be quiet.
“Revali” Even though they had mainly been at odds with each other, Link still remembered a few things. The way he would preen whenever he got any amount of attention, or the sound of his wings gliding through the air.
“Urbosa” The sound of her voice rang through his ears, how she’d always sounded so confident and sure of herself. How proud she was of her people and her culture.
“Mipha” The girl he was supposedly in love with, and he could barely remember anything about her. He could remember how soft her voice was but how she was also incredibly fierce in battle when defending those she loved, but that was it. There was practically nothing left.
“Ze-Zelda!” He hit the statue so hard that his hammer shattered into pieces, as he thought of the few things that he could actually remember about her. The way her eyes light up when she talked about the Shiekah technology or a rare species of animal or flower. The way her nose would slightly scrunch up and her eyebrows would furrow when she was annoyed at him. The way her hands shook when she held him as he died in her arms.
“I’ve lost everything because of you! I have nothing left anymore! I’m done. Do you hear me? I’m done with you!” He was no longer screaming, but he wasn’t done yet.
Looking up at the partially ruined statue before him, he dropped to his knees among the stones that now littered the floor. And dropping his head into his hands, he took a deep breath, before he threw his head back...
And screamed.
It was long and loud and every time he ran out of breath, he just took a deeper one and started again. The screams were haunting, heartbreaking and full of grief because Link, after years of mounting pressure, trauma and incapacitating grief, was finally breaking down.
***
When Link awoke he hadn’t realised that he’d fallen asleep, or more accurately, that he’d passed out after screaming for hours. His throat was sore and he felt like he was drifting in that weird feeling numbness that usually occurred when he had a breakdown, although they had never been this bad before.
He looked at the destruction around him and to his surprise, he didn’t feel guilty about it. He’d expected to feel guilty like he always did these days, blaming himself for everything that went wrong. Even if he knew that, logically, there wasn’t any possible way that he could be responsible for it.
But this? This left him feeling hollow instead. Because there was nothing left of him anymore.
He was tired and emotionally drained and he wanted to stay here in his Hyrule. He didn’t want to be forced into being the Goddess’ pawn again, and yet he had no choice. He never had a choice when it came to the Goddess and her will, that was a lesson he learned a long time ago.
He took a moment to breathe and took out the sheikah slate to teleport back to Kakariko.
‘Time to face the Goddess’, he thought as he tried to prepare himself to once again succumb to the Goddess’ wishes and relinquish any thoughts of freedom.
It wouldn’t do any good to imagine a luxury that he would never be granted.

[2] Night water conspiracies and a warm milk with honey
(HOLY SHIT I’M WHIPPED)
[Sereniverse]: [2]
Pairing: Mingyu x reader
Word count: 1.7k
Genre/warnings: idol!au, technically poly!seventeen, crack, smut, language, oral (f receiving), fingering, being a bit too whipped for people.. a bit of fluff in the end
Summary: the one where you wake up in the middle of the night, meet a sleepy Mingyu in the kitchen and try to figure out why the water tastes so good
A/N: I love Mingyu. ....
...
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH :3
...
You had been living with them for almost two months now. About five weeks after you had moved in, some events had occurred that led to three hours of you getting used by Hoshi, Joshua and Jeonghan in the sweetest ways you could imagine and the boys hadn't stopped teasing you about that night ever since.
They had heard all the sweet noises the three men had pulled from your lips and had gotten really riled up by it. Most of them could control themselves though, even though they had all dreamed about touching and tasting you one way or another. Not that you would have minded.
But not Mingyu.
He had voiced his yearning for you that night and despite the fact that you had almost been passed out in Joshua's arms, you had still heard and understood his complaints about missing out on you.
Needless to say that you were extremely flustered around the boys all the time, especially Mingyu, after that.
They looked at you differently now. Could also be that you only noticed it now though.
Mingyu could control himself for exactly two days before he approached you. You were standing in the kitchen, getting a 3 am glass of water because you had woken up for some reason. You thought that nightly water always tasted better than water during the day and you wondered what they did to the pipes at night to make it this great as you took a sip from your glass.
You were so immersed in your night-water-conspiracies that you didn't hear him enter the room so you jumped when Mingyu pulled you into a tight back hug, his hands snaking around your waist to your belly, resting his chin on your head.
"G'night, stinky." He greeted you. You rolled your eyes, answering "Hey, dipshit." Calling each other names came to be your dynamic over the past weeks and you found it really fun.
His body was warm against your back, his breath slow and his heartbeat calm. You could tell from his low rumbly voice that he was pretty tired and could only have woken up minutes ago. "You tired, big bear? Can't sleep?" you asked. He made some grumbly sound before answering "Mmh no, I mean.. ugh-". You giggled "So you are tired. Too tired to talk, it seems." "Mhm, seems like it." He mumbled. "Should I get you back to bed? Do you want a cup of warm milk with honey, to help you get to sleep?" You questioned.
"I'd rather have you, honey. Get you to my bed..." He grumbled lowly, lips right next to your ear now. You choked on your water. Mingyu loosened his grip around you to let you cough and you turned around in his arms hesitantly once you were done dying.
He just grinned down at you lazily before carefully taking your face into his left hand, his right staying at your hip. You could feel your face flush, it must have been red like a tomato. He let out a small chuckle as he bent down slightly and caught your lips with his gently.
You were pretty sure that you stopped breathing for a bit, but soon enough you found yourself kissing him back. The kiss was genuine, filled with way more than just sexual desire and you were melting into him like warm wax. Your arms were wrapped around his broad neck when he started deepening the kiss, exploring your mouth with his tongue.
He had wanted to do this for so long and it was even more heavenly than he had anticipated.
The rapper moved his hands to tap at the backs of your thighs. You took this as a hint to jump and straddle his hips to hold yourself up. It wasn't an invitation but rather a command in the way that he was holding you. Maybe it was the night water but you couldn't find the strength to not follow his order to have a little fun, as you usually would have done. His lips had something addicting about them and after he had hinted at his intentions, you could feel neediness pool between your legs. You definitely wanted more.
His large hands at your thighs, he carried you to his room easily, his lips never leaving yours. He dropped you onto his bed, hovering over you. When you pulled apart to breathe you remembered something "What about your honey milk?" He scoffed "Who cares about that? The only thing I want on my lips right now is you." He added, his face so close to yours that you could feel his heavy breath on your lips.
With that he connected his lips with yours again, pushing slightly so you would lean back and lay down. When you were laying flat on your back, him towering over you, he started trailing his lips to your jaw and neck, pulling the sweetest breathy moans and gasps from you.
Your legs wrapped around Mingyu's waist and your hands went under his shirt, traveling across his carved torso. His skin was so soft under your fingertips and you couldn't wait to see him. He chuckled when you started tugging at his shirt. "So eager, little bunny. No patience." You could feel his grin on your lips when you opened your eyes to make puppy-eyes at him. "Please?"
His grin widened into a shining smile as he slightly pulled away from you. Just enough to take off his shirt. When Mingyu caught you staring at his toned chest he slowly straightened his back, looking down at you a little bit too confident. "Like what you see, Bunny?"
You just continued looking, mumbling something absentmindedly as you stared at his toned torso. You were certain that he was shining. His skin so smooth and soft, his light muscles casting beautiful shadows over it in the dim light of his bedside lamp. He chuckled yet again before he bent down to you, letting his shirt fall wherever.
Your lips were on his in an instant as it was his turn now to rid you off your shirt. When it was done his lips attacked your neck again, his teeth nipping the skin as he started sucking on it slightly. You let out a grasp that earned you a small sound from deep within his chest.
Your legs were between his now while he was holding himself up on his hands and knees and you thought you would try to tease him a bit. You angled your leg slightly, pressing your thigh to his crotch, where you could feel his hard member straining against the confines of his slacks. He let out a low moan, having to pause marking your skin. It took him a second to catch himself again but when he did, he looked at you with hooded eyes. The sound of him and his look shot arousal straight to your core and if you weren't wet already, you would definitely have been now..
You breathed his name automatically. It was a plea for him to start touching you and he immediately listened. He pulled your sleep shorts and underwear away in one swift motion and didn't lose time kneeling before the bed and diving between your thighs. His strong hands grabbed your hips and pulled you towards him. You felt his hot tongue lick a long stripe over Your heat and moaned his name before you had had enough time to process what he was doing.
Your hands went straight for his hair, tangling your fingers in the strands and pulling slightly from time to time. Mingyu made out with your flower furiously. He was so immersed in your scent and taste and the way you felt that he didn't know anything but you in the moment.
After a short while he added a finger, playing at your entrance first before he slowly pushed it in. Though the stretch was not a lot, it made your eyes roll back and a series of moans and pleas leave your lips.
You pulled at Mingyu's hair roughly when he added a second finger and started scissoring his digits inside you, stretching you out more. The sudden harsh tug made him growl at your core, sending vibrations through your whole body that made you clench around his fingers and he chuckled at your body's reaction to him.
“P-please.. Mingyu…” It came out more like a breath than real words, but he heard it, detaching himself from you and pulling his fingers out immediately as he looked at you with blown out pupils. “What is it?” he asked curiously but out of breath. You didn’t hesitate, answering him “Please, need you inside me, Mingyu.” You knew what would come next, judging from the smirk that played across his rosy lips. “And don’t you dare tell me that you already were!” “Or what?” You shook your head. “Just fucking kiss me already.” You said, leaning forward and reaching out for him to pull him towards you.
He smiled into the kiss as he rose from his knees, taking off his sweats and underwear in the process. He swiftly grabbed a condom from his bedside drawer and you watched him as he opened it with his teeth, looking up at him with hooded eyes.
///
You slept like a baby in his warm embrace after you two were done and only awoke in the later morning hours to two voices in the room.
" -lucky beanpole-ass lookin'.." You couldn't identify the voice in your half-sleepy state. "Shut up Jihoon, she's still sleeping, idiot." Mingyu whisper-shouted, holding you tighter to his chest. "And at least I'm not some tiny-ass smurf-gnome kinda abomination, asshole! Now fuck off and close the door. I'll make you even shorter, if you wake her up." He added, fake aggression evident in his tone. Jihoon went to close the door, not without mumbling a "Geez Rambo, chill your enormous breadstick ass down man.." more to himself than to Mingyu.
You fell back asleep for a few more hours shortly after that, snuggling into the big boy a bit more.

Draconic Instinct: Malleus x Reader vore
So... this was originally going to be posted on the 7th for @twistedtummies2′s birthday, but I saw that they were having a rough time recently and decided to post it a bit earlier. I’m a little unsure about how this one came out but I’m gonna post it anyways. I hope ya’ll like it, and happy early birthday/happy easter @twistedtummies2.
I swear I didn’t mean to make it so romantic. It just kind of happened.
There were hardly any words to sum up how you felt at this moment, but to say the very least you no longer envied ant man's power of shrinking on command. You supposed fictional characters couldn’t get vertigo but you certainly did and it wasn’t pleasant.
Groaning, you sat up and held your stomach and head. It hadn’t taken you long to figure out what happened. The only thing you were left wondering was how and why it had happened.
With awe and slight fear you gazed at the world around you and how different it was to when you weren't the perfect size to soak in a teacup.
Everything was 10 times the size it had once been. Maybe even bigger. Bushes loomed over you, flowers were bigger than your hands, grass was like walking through a corn field, and when you looked up at the trees they were larger than skyscrapers. In comparison you were roughly the size of someone's palm.
Being shrunk definitely wasn’t on your bucket list, but NRC never really seemed to care about what you wanted. “Great, how am I gonna get back to the dorm now?” You huffed and placed your hands on your hips.
Several ideas came to mind yet none of them were actual solutions. You couldn’t walk, it would take forever. You couldn’t call anyone since your phone had cracked when it fell from your hands before you shrank. You also couldn’t ask Grim for help since he was already back at the dorm.
The one day you actually needed his help he was sick because the little furball ignored your advice and ran out into the cold rain the night before. You sighed and looked at your surroundings again.
It was rather odd that you were shrunk today. Not that being reduced to a few inches tall was ever normal, but today was a particularly peculiar time to fall victim to more troublesome magic.
Today was your birthday. 365 days in the year and today was the day that something like this happened to you. At this moment your gorgeous beau was waiting for you back at the ramshackle dorm with some movies so you could cuddle up and relax together after a long day of school.
Although you doubted Grim would let you have any alone time with the prince since he was so sick. A sick Grim was a clingy Grim. You didn’t mind as long as he was comfortable but you had been hoping to watch your boyfriend indulge in some ice cream later that evening. You still loved Grim but you were a bit bitter about the fact that your favorite bonding activity with your boyfriend was cancelled.
Now you couldn’t care less about it as it seemed that you might miss the evening all together. A frown decorated your features and you grumbled unhappily about the situation as you began to walk in the direction of the dorm.
You would never make it home in time, but there was no use in standing around and pitying yourself. As you walked you tried to recall anything out of the ordinary that had happened during school. Besides the birthday wishes and occasional presents, everything checked out.
Maybe it was someone’s unique magic. You hadn’t seen anybody around as you were walking home but then again you weren't really paying attention either. Apparently you weren’t paying much attention now either as you hadn’t noticed the giant teen approaching you until it’s shadow fell over your very tiny figure.
You looked up and gasped. A very large hand was reaching down to grab you, which had been the cause of the shadow. You did what any sane person would do and tried to book it. The giant hand was faster.
“Let me go!” You shouted angrily, but stopped when you were swung upwards in a way that made you worry that you were going to lose your lunch. “Oh boy…” Even after the ride was stopped you felt dizzy.
“Well, well, well, lookie here. The high and mighty prefect of the ramshackle dorm!” A smug looking face appeared in your vision and you had to hold back a scream.
The giant in front of you was the owner of the hand that had plucked you from the ground. He was dressed in a Savanaclaw uniform and resembled a bear. His smirk displayed two rows of sharp teeth that in any other situation would make you swoon. Right now though your fear conquered your kink.
“Got ‘em good there Bazz. Aw look at ‘em all tiny and trembling. Hahaha!” Another student who you didn’t recognize came from the side and sneered at you. “What a weakling. Hardly fit to be called a prefect, especially without any magic.”
Oh… That’s what this was about. You glared at the two men and started struggling. “Put me down you oafs!” It had been a while since you first arrived at NRC but it seemed that some people were still insistent on bullying you about your lack of powers.
This wasn’t the first time that other students had decided to pick on you. People sneered and called you names in the hallways all the time. It wasn’t hard to ignore them after a first few weeks and soon you began to think that they were just words.
No one had tried anything like harming you so far, but it wasn’t entirely out of the question. At a villain school it’s generally to be expected. It was why you so often only travelled with others. Your fellow students that you had established relationships with and trusted accompanied you back to the ramshackle dorm most days. And if they weren't around, Grim was usually there to take care of you.
Except for today.
You were in no way a weak individual, however it was much harder to defend yourself when you were 5 inches tall.
The second student, a Scarabia student from the looks of it, had a curly mop of red hair and cheeks spotted with hundreds of freckles. His eyes were a light blue color and his crooked smile revealed good dental work. He would have been more attractive had he not been leering at you or practically peeling apart at the seams from sunburn.
Bazz, the bear manimal, had dark skin and medium length black hair. His eyes glowed yellow as he smirked with teeth so disgusting they almost matched his eyes.
Several more students, from nearly all the dorms, crept out of the shadows and surrounded your initial two captors. The color drained from your face and you willed yourself not to tremble as a series of horrific opportunities entered your mind.
“Oafs! Ha! We aren’t oafs, you're just a shrimp!” The group laughed and you glared at them with as much malice as you could muster. “Not that name calling ever does anything.” Bazz drew your attention back to him. “We had hoped that by telling you that we didn’t want you here, you would get the message and scram. But some herbivores just don’t get it, so us predators, both physically and magically, have to teach you where you belong on the food chain!”
You gaped and let your eyes widen. Did these buffoon’s know who you were? That you had saved their arses on several occasions, both from others and themselves. You weren’t super buddy buddy with Leona, (cause he’s a pain and doesn’t like you very much anyways), but he still seemed to care about you enough that he didn’t want you to die. At the very least Ruggie could still get some free chore help out of you.
And if Kalim and Jamil found out what one of their students was doing they would both be unhappy, angry even if he actually managed to hurt you. There was also the deal with Azul, situation with Riddle, and the show Vil put on as well. Truthfully there were so many reasons that they shouldn’t hurt you. It was almost shocking that they still wanted to hurt you after everything.
One thing you did notice was that there wasn’t a single Diasomnia student in the bunch. That comforted you a minor amount. At least no one in your boyfriend’s dorm disliked you enough to go behind their dorm leaders back in order to get rid of you.
“G-guys, let’s just t-talk this out.” You held out your hands in hopes that you could calm them into a negotiating state. “Listen, you don’t want to do this really. So if you could just turn me back I’m sure we could work somethi-”
“Shut it, meat!” the savanaclaw barked at you. The noise made your ears ring and you held your hands over them to muffle the loud shouts. “Heeheheehe… is the little herbivore scared. That’s alright no need to be shy, I like it that way.”
The circle of boys surrounding you, howled with laughter and you cringed from the stimulus.
As the laughter died down, Bazz looked at you closely. “Scrawny thing like you would have barely made a meal full-sized. Guess we’ll have to kill you the old fashioned way instead.” You gasped and began to thrash in his grasp as some of the students whistled.
“Bazz, you should feed her to yer snake!” “Bazz! My little sister’s been looking for a new doll to dress up!” “Bazz, hey! My dog needs a chew toy and that thing is the perfect size.”
Threatening ideas that all promised a painful demise bounced around the group, each one more horrific than the last. The scarabia boy looked like he was about to lose it with laughter and Bazz watched you struggle as if it was the most entertaining thing in the world. No one noticed the clouds above head slowly circling and becoming denser.
“Alright alright! Hey everybody shut up!” Bazz, who you had concluded was the leader by this point, shouted at his lackeys. “I’ve decided how I wanna kill ‘em.” he said darkly with a smirk. An almost crazy look came to his eyes and he turned you so you were on display for the whole group to see.
“This little magicless shit and their raccoon thing have been plaguing this school for too long. I saw we knock out two birds with one stone and get rid a both of ‘em at the same time.” he paused for dramatic effect. “We’ll coat this one in tuna and leave it for the racoon to eat, and when he’s finished we’ll tell the headmaster and he’ll be expelled!”
The group cheered and you moaned in utter exhaustion with a dab of hopelessness. Why was this school so ridiculous. You swore one day these imbeciles were gonna set the school on fire and when they turn to you for help, you were just gonna roast marshmallows and watch them panic.
A part of you was scared of course, you knew how Grim got when it came to food, but there was no way he wouldn’t notice you. Besides you weren’t really all that nervous anymore now that you noticed the sky.
Dark clouds swirled around and flashes of green lit up the sky momentarily before dying down. Malleus was obviously looking for you and he was obviously not happy. Moments after you realized he was coming a massive lightning bolt struck the ground only feet away from where the pod of students stood.
You screamed and shut your eyes as pain lit up behind them. You were swung around as the bear man protected his eyes as well and nausea took over you temporarily.
Even after you opened your eyes, only blackness filled your vision. Luckily you could still hear pretty well and relief flooded your veins when you picked up the voice of your boyfriend.
“Hmm… it appears a bunch of scoundrels have decided to pick on my darling. Unfortunate as it seems, I am at fault for letting them walk home alone. Please return them and I won’t harm you.”
Malleus was a frightening person to be up against, however the number of other students seemed to give them hope. “Not happenin’” You heard Bazz growl. “I caught ‘em so their mine!”
The dark fae stiffened and you inhaled sharply. Thunder boomed and some of the students appeared frightened for a moment before attempting to return their expressions to confidence. They failed miserably.
Malleus’ eyes widened before slanting dangerously. His pupils which were already slits, thinned out in an even more reptilian like way. His cape billowed around him as the wind picked up as a result of his rage.
Being possessive doesn’t even begin to cover how Draconia feels about you. To him you were the most magnificent treasure in his entire hoard. The shiniest most beautiful precious gem he owned and his mate. After many many years of near solitude, Malleus had come to appreciate your company more than he could describe with words. Hearing another try to claim you ignited the fire in his belly and drove most logical thought from his mind.
The only thing he was thinking about was getting you back to him, completely unharmed. You supposed this might be the reason that the next events were so seemingly out of character for him.
He growled threateningly and the students took a step back. Two of them ran for it and one looked like he was just about to. Bazz and the Scarabia student stood stiff and nervous but didn’t back down.
Your eyes finally adjusted and you watched as a pomefiore student foolishly took a step forward. As first years they had practically nothing to use against the dark prince, who waved his hand and a gust of wind blew the student over like he was made of cardboard.
Malleus obviously wasn’t in the mood to play, yet he didn’t take out the students just yet. He decided he would show them something. “Bring my treasure here!” he snarled. Bazz shook but didn’t comply.
“Fine, be that way.” the half dragon snapped his fingers and you were effortlessly teleported into his hands. You knew from experience that he could only do that to smaller objects so you supposed it was a good thing that you were shrunk.
“Malleus!” You cried out and looked up at him with relief. His eyes momentarily flashed with the familiar adoration that he used when he gazed at you everyday. They turned dark again when the Scarabian boy shouted, “Hey! We caught that little rat so it’ ours. You're gonna have to fight us if you really want to take them!”
“I will.” his voice was eerily calm as he stared them down. “In due time, but first,” he raised a finger and you squealed when he lifted you suddenly. “I need to tuck my treasure where it will be safe. I wouldn’t want my mate getting damaged or having to see the gruesome mess I am going to turn you into.”
Confusion etched itself on your face but quickly shifted into understanding. Scared understanding, but understanding no less. “Umm… Mal… I don’t think-”
“Shh…” he quieted you and smiled at you softly. Despite your fears you nodded, giving him permission to continue.
The two of you had discussed this before, as he was well aware of your interests, however you had both decided that it wasn’t the time yet. Now, apparently was the time as you found yourself hovering over him in anticipation of what was to come.
You glanced to the side and saw the last 4 students’ faces undergo the same transition yours did except they appeared much more horrified. Squirming, you looked down and gulped when Malleus gave you one last comforting look before stretching his jaws wide beneath you.
A flush crept onto your face as you gazed down into the open maw of your boyfriend. His teeth were sharp like spikes waiting to clamp down and tear through anything that he decided to consume. Each dip and crevice of pink pulsing flesh was oozing with clear slime. The back of the throat was illuminated by a strange green glow that came from below. Hot, stale breath washed over you and blew your hair slightly.
Nervousness and anticipation spread through you as you were lowered into the large mouth that you realised resembled a sort of odd cave. His long forked tongue curled around your torso tightly as it carefully pulled you past the sharp fangs and into his mouth. The action was weirdly comforting as you picked up on his concern for your wellbeing.
Soon you were pulled completely into the slimy maw and watched, mildly afraid as the jaws shut, sealing off your exit. The tongue unwrapped itself and slid over you instead, prodding and feeling as it tasted you. It particularly enjoyed any part of you that wasn’t covered by clothing. And as your shirt was pushed up slightly so the tongue could lap at your midsection, you felt and heard Malleus humm in delight.
You squirmed and giggled as the tongue continued to tickle you as best it could. It pulled back suddenly when a loud groan echoed up from below, telling Malleus that it was time to eat. He had never been one to deny himself of food if it was within appropriate terms so he tipped his head back and you felt gravity shift as he began to swallow you.
The fae grunted and swallowed thickly, using a finger to trace your form in his throat. He scrunched his face as you sank slowly down past his chest, which he thumped in order to speed up your journey. And finally he felt you plop into his stomach.
You panted for breath as the ride down had been far too tight for your liking but almost immediately gagged when you were hit by the horrid stink of whatever meat and sweet dessert Malleus had eaten last.
The gut around you was fairly large and spacious compared to the size you currently were. The walls pulsed and throbbed as they sensed you in their space. It was almost as if they were trying to locate you. That’s when you realized they were.
A high pitched whining sort of sound alerted you to the fact that your boyfriend was checking to make sure if you had made the journey safely. Quickly you trudged through the sludge, which tingled your skin when in contact, and placed two hands on what you assumed was the front wall of the stomach.
You could see due to the eerie glow in the stomach but you weren’t quite sure which direction you were facing. You received an answer when a handprint pressed against you in a comforting manner.
“I’m alright!” you called, “Don’t worry about me!” The stomach lining tensed and you heard Malleus growl, “Impossible!” You blushed and smoothed your hand over the slimy walls in appreciation for his undying concern for your wellbeing.
Outside, the remaining two students who had failed to flee when they saw Draconia swallow his lover whole, trembled in their spots. Both whimpered when his gaze turned towards them and fixed with a cold and dangerous stare that promised pain.
“You!” the dark prince seethed, “attempted to take my mates life!” His voice raised and lightning flashed behind him. “And for that, you will pay dearly!”
You were flung backwards into the sludge as you felt Malleus jerk swiftly as the fight began. He pointed his staff at the two buffoons and muttered an incantation under his breath before a large jet of light blasted towards them.
Both jumped out of the way just in time for the laser to scorch the ground where they had previously stood.
They looked at each other fearfully and then back at Malleus. Scrambling, they attempted to stand up and fight back, but neither were successful as they were suddenly blasted by another powerful spell.
Your boyfriend smirked wickedly as he watched the two students deform and shrink until there was nothing left but two large rats screeching panickedly in the grass. “You’re lucky my mate disapproves of murder. Otherwise you would be in hell right now!”
Lightning struck again and Malleus vanished from his spot, leaving the, now rodents to scamper off into the woods, hoping the spell would wear off.
Flickering lights flew around the room as its owner appeared out of thin air, transported home with magic. He sighed and leaned his staff against the wall with a huff. You were quiet as you listened to the dark mage begin to undress enough to leave his midsection exposed.
He gently sat down on the bed and you gripped the stomach wall to remain balanced. He leaned back and grunted, placing a palm over his stomach. “Darling, you are still alright?” his voice sounded slightly strained and you raised an eyebrow.
“Um, yes, yes I am.” he sighed in relief. “That’s good. In that case please do excuse me but-” you didn’t hear him finish his sentence before the air around you thickened momentarily before rushing upwards in a loud blast.
“GRRRRWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRP!!!!!”
You gasped and felt your legs weaken beneath you. The large eructation bellowed around you and seemed magnified from you being inside of him.
Malleus moaned softly. His eyebrows drew together and he sat a bit straighter on the bed. “My apologies, darling, it appears you gave me quite a bit of gas.” He muffled another burp, which rumbled deeply in his throat and blew the fetid air out the corner of his mouth.
“N-no need to apologise.” you said hesitantly. You were very aware of your boyfriend's aversion to rudeness, however, your interests didn’t care much and you always found yourself shaking at the knees when he let loose a bit.
He smirked and rolled his eyes at your reaction and wished he could see your no doubt adorably blushing face. His hand rubbed large circles over his stomach and a low purr like sound began to rumble through his chest.
You trudged over to the wall again and placed your hands against it. He pressed back lightly in conformation that he knew you were there and you smiled fondly as you began to rub the stomach lining.
He let out a low croon and you felt him sink into the bed. You could almost see the look of pure delight that would slip onto his face anytime you massaged his belly. If only you knew how much better it felt to him now that you were applying your ministrations from inside.
Malleus hummed softly and peered down at his stomach with a loving and satisfied gaze. You were safe. Away from those bullies who he would further deal with later once you weren’t around to stop him with morals, as most humans had. Safe, warm, delicately tucked away inside of him, where nothing and no one could get to you.
His most valuable possession, most treasured jewel, most worshiped treasure. His mate. HIS! The instinctual possessiveness and protectiveness had died down a bit now that he was back in his ‘nest’ with his mate, safely stowed away in his stomach. Now feelings of regret and guilt began to fester within him as he thought about how he hadn’t really asked for permission before swallowing you.
“Darling?” you stopped rubbing and looked up, not that you could see him, “I… I wanted to say I’m sorry…”
You made a confused face and pressed against the lining a bit. “Why?”
“I’m sorry for several reasons, actually.” he sighed. “I’m sorry that I wasn’t there to protect you in the first place. I’m sorry that I didn’t prevent such an event from happening. I’m sorry that you were scared and in danger while you were under my care. I’m also sorry that I ate you…”
He paused and you cocked your head. “It’s… it’s a dragon's instinct to protect their valuables no matter what. For you… in such a position… I felt that you were too exposed, too vulnerable. Even if I had placed you in a pocket there was no guarantee that you wouldn’t get hurt. What I was sure of was my ability to protect my own body, so I decided to temporarily add you to it.”
The dark fae wrapped his arms around his midsection and frowned. “Oh darling, I hope you can forgive me.”
You stepped back from the wall and swung your fist at it as hard as you could. He was unable to stop a magnificently large belch from erupting past his lips, which you were quite delighted about but shoved those feelings to the side. You had caught his attention, so now it was your turn to speak.
“Malleus Draconia!” you said sternly, “If you think for one minute that I am going to let you blame yourself for something entirely out of your control then you’ve got another thing coming to you.”
The half dragon stared in shock at his gut and let his jaw drop.
“It is in no way your fault that those jackasses decided to pick on me. In fact it was bound to happen sooner or later so it was only a matter of time. Besides you can’t be with me 24/7. It’s just not possible. So you stop being sorry about it this instance or I am going to give you the gut ache of your life!” You kicked his stomach again to prove your point and he released a deep burp into his fist.
“HHHHRRRRRMMMMMMMRRRRRLLLLPPPHHH!!!!”
“Oh and another thing,” you started, “I have no idea why you would be sorry in the first place, since you saved me.” He paused and knit his eyebrows together as he thought about it. “You saved me Malleus. I’m safe. I’m safe and I’m not scared or unhappy or hurt in any way. I’m safe and in fact I’m also quite content.”
The half dragon sat up in surprise. “Yes, that’s right.” you continued, “I am enjoying this experience deeply. True it would be a bit nicer if you could stop repressing, but I know how you feel about that. So don’t feel bad that you swallowed me to keep me safe. You probably could have swallowed me just to add some fat to your thighs and I would still be in heaven.”
He growled at the suggestion of him killing you, even if you would appreciate it due to your twisted sense of what's arousing and such.
You chuckled and restarted rubbing his stomach lining. “Malleus, I love you. I trust you and your decisions. If you need to do something to keep me safe, even if it did make me slightly uncomfortable. I would still love you just as much.”
He began to purr again and sighed. “Thank you darling. I… I suppose you’re right.” he paused. “I love you too. So very much, and because of that, along with the fact that it is your birthday… I will indulge you as much as you like.”
You paused and gasped. As much as you’d like…? You almost shook with excitement and Malleus chuckled, sensing your joy. “Shall I start with the usual?” You nodded vigorously, then realized he couldn’t see you and blushed in embarrassment. “Yes I would like that very much.”
Malleus smiled at your enthusiasm and waved his left hand, conjuring a bottle of soda. He much preferred to drink from a glass and have his beverage stored in glass bottles, but for simplicity's sake he decided it would be alright to drink from a regular two liter.
Another wave and he had sound proofed his room. Something he found himself doing often since you had begun to come over.
Carefully he unscrewed the bottle cap, wary of it potentially exploding. You heard the hiss of air being released and backed up against the wall in anticipation of what was coming next. The next sound you heard was a series of thick squelches and some fizzing accompanied by the noise of liquids rushing downwards.
Soon enough a waterfall of sweet, sugary soda cascaded through the open valve above. You squeezed your eyes shut and hissed when it splashed you as it hit the stomach bottom and mixed with the acids that pooled there.
The liquid level around you rose steadily and you heard it bubble and hiss as it frothed incessantly upon exposure to the heat in Malleus insides. The pressure in the air doubled until it became almost too thick to breath.
By the time Malleus had finished the bottle, the liquid level had risen past your hips and rested just below your waist. He pulled the rim of the bottle away from his mouth and panted. Almost hesitantly he replaced the cap on the now empty bottle and placed it on the bedside table.
“Alright darling,” he grunted, “I’m HURP!- hah… I’m ready. Give it a good kick.” Almost immediately he felt a sharp pain in the side of his middle as you gave the inside of his gut a fierce blow. His stomach groaned loudly and the air pressure thickened harshly before Malleus opened his mouth and let out one of the loudest, deepest, longest belches you had ever heard.
“BWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRP!!!!!!!!!!!! - HACK!!!”
It came to a close after a sheer 14 seconds of filling the room with its hellacious stench. The paintings on the walls had rattled and shaken in its wake and the bottle fell off of the table it was placed upon.
Your ears rung and you were sure your nose was bleeding by how intensely hot you felt. Your whole face turned a lovely shade of crimson almost as dark as Riddle’s hair.
Malleus gasped and moaned, letting his head fall back on the pillows. Despite his favor for elegance and manners he could never deny how simply incredible it felt to release a large amount of pressure from his stomach.
He puffed out his cheeks as he felt another massive burp roll up his throat.
“HHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRP!!!!!”
“BRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPP!!!!”
“BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRLLLLLLLLCH!!!!”
“BRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUOOOOOOOOOOOORRRP!!!!!!!!!”
Several more belches, all magnificent in size, erupted past his lips and echoed throughout his bedroom. You moaned and listened as your boyfriend continuously burped without restraint. This was a once in a lifetime experience and you intended to enjoy it to the fullest.
Finally the burps tapered off and Malleus groaned, rubbing his throat which stung a bit due to the power behind the eructations. He looked down and realized that while busy emptying his stomach of gas, he had also hacked you up.
The ride up had been short and tight but you hadn’t been paying all that much attention when it happened so you couldn’t say for sure if it had been uncomfortable. Rolling over on his stomach where you happened to end up, you smiled loopily up at him and he flushed looking you over.
It made him feel nice, seeing you so small and content. While you were in danger he hadn’t gotten the chance to appreciate how simply adorable you looked, being this tiny, or how delicious.
Malleus’ stomach growled disapprovingly at having lost its new favorite snack but he ignored it in favor of muttering a short incantation which quickly cleaned you of gut gunk. Now clean, you stood shakily since his midsection was bloated a bit, and tried to walk over to your boyfriend's chest.
You ended up falling over, since it was slightly like walking on a waterbed that wasn’t totally full. Malleus chuckled and you saw his eyes flash a bright green before your perspective changed rapidly.
It was only moments later that you found yourself, full sized once more staring into the captivating eyes of your beau.
“Hello darling.” he spoke softly. “Did you enjoy yourself?” You nodded rapidly and he sighed wrapping his arms around you. His hand gently runs over your hair and you let your head sit on his chest.
The sound of his heartbeat fills your ears and you sigh. It was quite a relaxing sound, but you still preferred the low burbles that his stomach provided. The two of you lay this way for a while, simply enjoying the presence of each other. However Malleus eventually shifts underneath you and whispers your name.
Curiously you look up at him and he beckons you closer.
Closer.
Closer.
Your lips touch in a brief kiss and he pulls back with a smile. “I have a birthday gift for you, but first.” He loosens his grip so he can sit up, positioning you in his lap. You shiver in anticipation when he gazes down at you greedily. Finally he leans forward enough to lick a stripe up your cheek and bite your earlobe teasingly.
“HHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMLLLLLPH!!!! - Phoosh”
As he pulls back he suppresses a thick belch and blows the leftover fetid gas into your face. Your eyes water and you cough while inhaling deeply at the same time. You opened your eyes and Malleus could have sworn he saw hearts in them.
“Thank you…” you breathed and he smirked. “Mmmm… as delightful as it is teasing you and getting to see...” he flicked his tongue along your lips, “taste your sweet blush. I do have an actual gift for you.”
He moved so you could see the table where he had previously placed the soda bottle, and lifted a hand in a swift motion and whispered a few words. Suddenly a large ice cream cake appeared with a scrawled “Happy Birthday” on top.
The ice cream appeared to be chocolate vanilla swirl, and the frosting on top was vanilla. Decorative chocolate thorns encircled the cake’s base and had been arranged to appear as if they were climbing the dessert. Just above the wording a candle in the shape of a spinning wheel sat delicately. The spindle part was engulfed in a small green flame that danced almost eagerly as it waited to be blown out.
You gasped and turned back to look at your boyfriend in surprise at the complicated cake he had (ordered you presumed) gifted you. The overly large size and ice cream part didn’t slip your notice and you had a feeling this night's adventures with your interests were far from over.
“And one more thing.” Malleus spoke hesitantly, as if nervous by the next gift. He waved his hand and a small box appeared. He handed it to you and you opened it carefully. Inside sat a silver ring that had been made so detailed it looked as if it had literally been woven together with several tiny vines of thorns. Right in the middle of the ring was a small emerald which flashed in the candlelight.
Your eyes widened and you glanced up at your beau who looked as if he was holding his breath. “It’s to signify our relationship. It’s not an engagement ring, it is meant to be worn on your right hand.” You watched as he gently slipped the ring onto your right hand.
In the valley of thorns we have something similar to the gallagh ring that you told me exists in your world. Instead of wearing it a different way depending on your relationship, the gemstone in the middle turns black when you are single. It turns the color of your partner's eyes when you are in a relationship, and when you become married it permanently changes to that color and the band turns gold.”
He explained how it works in a quiet voice while you admired the pretty ring and your hand held in his. Malleus pressed a kiss to the ring and looked at you nervously. “Do you like it?”
You threw your arms around him and smiled wide. “It’s the best gift I’ve ever received. Thank you so much Malleus.” You pulled back still smiling, he sighed in relief and smiled back. “That’s good to hear.” he looked like he was about to say something else but was interrupted by a loud growl that came from his stomach.
“Sounds like you’re hungry. Why don’t we eat some cake?” he smirked and tightened his grip on your waist just a bit. “Hmmm. you mean, you eat some cake and I eat all the rest, only to end up with a big bloated tummy for you to rub?” You blushed fiercely.
“Yes, I do believe that sounds like an appropriate way to end the evening.” He leaned forward and kissed you once more. “Although you will always be the sweetest treat I have ever had the pleasure of tasting.” You giggled. “I love you too, Malleus.”

Announcement post/calendar here
@birds-have-teeth
Enjoy~
You had just moved to your new home with a close friend of yours here in this small town. Your lovely neighbor had told you about the walking path here in the woods. However, she warned you not to cross the bridge that hung over the rapids down below with the doorway at the end. She claimed the doorway would take you to another realm, where humans weren’t welcome. Thinking it was only a legend, you brushed it off.
That was until it crossed your mind again once you stumbled upon the bridge she had mentioned. Nothing about this place felt safe. It sent shivers up your spine and bumps to rise across your arms. Cautiously looking down, there seemed to be a blanket of fog with a tint of green hovering over the water.
What a strange colored fog.
Looking back up, you saw the smallest glimpse of something move on the other side. You squinted your eyes but nothing else moved so you shrugged and turned back the way you came so you could get home for dinner. Your mom was cooking at her house and you weren’t about to pass up a free meal. It was actually her idea for you to move to this town, to get away from the city for a while. She wanted you to get away from the polluted air and clutter of society. And you agreed.
So now here you were in a quaint little town full of nosy people. As long as your mother and your dear friend were there, living there shouldn’t be too bad.
The next day was filled with the unpacking of boxes and redecoration of the rooms. It was a cute house that wasn’t very big but it was enough for you and your friend, Tsuyu, to live in. You loved Tsuyu with all your heart. She was kind and supportive even as people called you “quirkless” and “useless”. Tsuyu’s quirk was called Frog, which allowed her to do anything a frog could. She usually made funny faces to cheer you up when you were down. Because you, well, you didn’t have a quirk. That was the main reason why your mother wanted you to move here, so you wouldn’t get picked on constantly. Even in your current early adult years people still looked down on you for not having a quirk.
“Hey, you okay, Y/n?” you felt Tsuyu’s hand on your shoulder before you flinched away at her touch. Blinking a few times you realized it was only her and you relaxed.
“Yeah, just thinking,” you set down the last of the throw pillows for the furniture before opening another box that read living room.
“How about you go take a walk on that one path again, ribbit,” she slowly took the picture frames from your hands before going to hang them up herself. “I’ll finish unpacking these.”
You smiled before slipping your shoes on to head back into the woods like the day before.
This time you had brought your earbuds so it wouldn’t be so painfully quiet while you walked along the dirt path. Then without realizing, you had made your back to the beginning of the bridge that hung over the rapids down below. When you came to your senses you looked up to see someone, no something, staring right at you. Even with how far it was from you, its eyes still glowed brightly in the dim lighting of the shadows. Its scales glimmered in the little dots and streaks of light poking through the trees. The whole other side of the bridge was dark and dim compared to the side you were on. The only noticeable things about it were its eyes, scales, and long tail. You couldn’t see anything else from where you were.
Was that what you had caught a glimpse of yesterday? It couldn’t be. Could it?
It slithered forward so a little more of it was in the light. He held out his hand and waved you, telling you to come closer. And oh were you tempted to. His face was an adorable round shape with freckles. His hair was curly and thick, it just made you want to run your fingers through the strands. Then your eyes trailed down to his chest covered in scars and muscle. Leading your eyes down to his torso where it almost faded into a jade-scaled snake tail.
He was beautiful in every sense of the word. He made the “come here” gesture with his hand again but this time he added an adorable, innocent smile.
With a light pink hue on your cheeks now, you began to walk over the old and creaky bridge. Holding onto the rough rope that acted as a railing, you slowly made your way across the bridge. And he sat there waiting for you patiently and hopefully.
Once you set one foot onto the solid ground, you were wrapped up in his coils. He held you tightly as he spoke, “I never thought I would be able to see you again, Y/n-chan.”
Confusion crossed your face but he only giggled at it before slithering deeper into the dark forest with you still tightly in his tails grasp. On the way to wherever you were headed, skeletons and clothes lied on the ground and in trees. The clothes made sense given that snakes ate their prey whole, but skeletons? Was there something else living here that didn’t eat bones? You shuddered at your own question which the snake holding you felt no doubt.
He slightly smirked at feeling your the chill run down your spine. But he quickly got rid of it as he focused on where he was going and the heat your body exerted into his. He could feel it seeping through his scaly armor. He couldn’t help but wind his tail tighter around you.
Suddenly, he heard you whimper which caused you to look back at you. He realized what he did wrong quickly and slackened his hold on you, but only a little. It could have only been a few minutes before the snake man stopped outside of a large hole in the ground. He glanced back to you before continuing into the hole. He had to lower the top part of his body so his stomach was almost touching the ground and he tilted you back so you were looking directly up into the sky before darkness clouded your vision.
A dull glow of light came from the end of the makeshift tunnel and your eyes adjusted easily the further you went. He straightened both your body and his as he reached the large relatively empty area. The only things that were in the “room” were the torches spread out on the walls and furs that laid on top of a bed of roughly carved tree trunks.
Curling up on the furs his body still held you but not as tightly. His long-nailed hands came to hold your face and inspect you. Tilting your head side to side. Looking for what he knew to be there, he just didn’t know where.
After practically pressing your face into his chest he found the mark he had left behind your ear. He smiled, “I knew it was you! I’ve been waiting for you ever since we were kids. I’m just sad it took this long for you to come back to me.”
Wait...w a i t
What?
Your confused expression made him giggle again before removing your earbuds gently, “How can you not remember me? It’s Izuku, remember?”
Izuku? You mean...he’s the-
He’s the boy you always went into the forest to play with as a child. He was the first person to not mind the fact that you were quirkless. You couldn’t believe he had stayed here all this time. Back then he slept in a large old tree and he would always carry you up to where the two of you talked and messed around.
“I can’t believe I didn’t recognize you!” you almost shrieked as your wrapped your now free arms around his neck to hold him close.
His face turned red as he acted like it was no big deal. Just as he was the first person to treat you with kindness, you were the first to not be terrified of what he was. Izuku has been hunted and sought out for being a danger to humans. He was only a danger when they attacked him. Too many times he’s been ambushed and injured by humans who refuse to believe he wouldn’t harm them without good reason.
All he could do was use tail and long fangs that utilize his deadly venom because he too was quirkless. It was hard to fight against these people that had quirks like ice and fire or that has a shadow coming from their body.
Izuku wrapped his arms around your torso and buried his head into your shoulder. He missed you like no other. His life was lonely without you brightening his days. But now you were back, and you were going to stay for good.
He sniffed a bit causing him to lick his lips and get a whiff of your scent. He hadn’t been able to take the time to smell it. His tongue poked out again to smell it again. His eyes almost rolled into the back of his head and he held you tighter. Izuku had to use all of his strength to not shudder from your delectable scent. Just to make sure he wasn’t mistaken he turned his head to your neck and stuck his tongue out again to smell from your scent gland. He was so close to biting your neck right then and there.
You were fertile. There was no doubt in his mind. It was time for you to bear children and he wanted nothing more than to fill you with his eggs and cum alike.
“Y/n-chan...have you ever...done it before?”

TW: Mentions of Anxiety and Sexual Assault
Request: tw; jj imagine, angsty, fluff, yk that jazz. but specifically touch on topics like sexual assault (while having jj as boyfriend but not breakup after gf is assaulted)? idk i don’t ever find much of those and it almost makes me feel sometimes like it’s not that valid which it needs to be shown that it is. totally ok if u can’t write that! sorry if this doesn’t make sense
A/N: This is a topic that is very serious and I did not want to romanticize it anyway. This is very heavy, sensitive, and something that I know, sadly, a lot of people can relate to. If you are struggling with anything please reach out to anyone, you don’t have to go through it alone. As always, my inbox/ requests/ messages are open:) PLEASE let me know what you think. I am so nervous about this one. Shout out to @softstarkey for helping me read over this fic and giving me amazing feedback <3

Y/N had been acting differently, she knew it, her friends knew it, and her boyfriend knew it. Their once outgoing, life of the party friend had shifted to stand by the wall, hidden by the shadows instead of dancing on the countertops. Their fashion-forward friend had exchanged her on-trend summer wardrobe and colorful bikinis for black, oversized attire. Their once touchy friend had now become completely closed off, not letting anyone come close to her. They thought that maybe it was a spout of insecurity, or maybe just an off week when it started, by it had lasted about a month now.
Everyone was worrying, but JJ could not stop worrying about her. She had become withdrawn from him, every time he would rest his hands on her, he could feel her tense up. When they would kiss, it would be short and chaste, never long or emotional. JJ thought that it may have been something that he had done. The other pogues were trying to help him rationalize that it wasn’t his fault, she was being distant with all of them.
JJ texted Y/N asking her if she was coming to the bonfire that night. He assured her that it would be small, just the pogues and a few of their other friends. The kids from The Cut had other plans though. When Y/N arrived it was anything but small. She was terrified that Josh might be there, he was the last person that she wanted to see, but more importantly, she didn’t want JJ to see him. She shifted uncomfortably looking at the mass of people covering the sandy beach. She took a deep breath before walking forward, knowing exactly where to find the other pogues.
On her way through she was trying to politely squeeze by the other party-goers making it so that she can get to the keg. Once she found her friends she would hopefully have a sense of security in the large crowd. Certainly, he wouldn’t bother her when she was around all her friends. Her eyes lit up as she waved to her best friend Kie through the crowd. Kie was quick to grab Y/N outstretched hand, pulling her out of the sea of bodies and over to the pogues, who were serving alcohol. JJ was quick to wrap his arms around her from behind. He felt her stiffen as she had been in the past few weeks. He held up a red cup in front of her. “For you my lady,” He said, faking a posh accent and bowing, causing both of them to laugh. Y/N reached over to kiss JJ, but just peck before turning back to Kie. JJ noticed the way that Y/N wrapped her self up with her arms while sitting next to Kie though, and the way that her eyes scanned the sea of people in front of him. Something was off, but he just couldn’t bear to ask. He was scared that it was him, that Y/N was different because of him.
Y/N and Kie sat on a piece of driftwood for most of the night, talking with other pogues and a few tourons. Kooks would sometimes walk by on their way to the keg, causing Y/N to tense up. Kie was talking to some touron about the issue with single-use silverware. “You mean to tell me that everyone was like, yeah, I’ll use this fork for 15 minutes so that it can then sit in a landfill for 500 years just so that I don’t have to do the dishes.” She ranted. “Ridiculous.” She finished, obviously worked up by the tourons lack of interest. “Y/N here agrees” She nodded towards Y/N.
Y/N laughed nodding her head. “She got us all bamboo toothbrushes for Christmas last year,” She stated, causing the group to erupt in laughter.
Kiara laughed with them. “What? It’s practical.”
Y/N tensed as she heard a voice behind her. It was Josh and his group of underclassmen groupies. Her skin went cold. He was talking to JJ, she could hear their banter from the fire. Josh was a Kook which meant that JJ already despised him.
“Y/N!” Kiara waved at her as she moved beside Y/N from her spot a few seats over. “Earth to Y/N” She laughed, but when Y/N looked back over at Kie, she saw the way that she was drained, the laughter that was there before was gone. Kie followed her gaze to Josh and JJ, watching the two as Josh walked away, opposite JJ but towards Y/N and Kie. Y/N quickly turned back to Kie trying to start a conversation desperately.
“So you and Pope yea? That’s uh different.” Y/N said. She was interested in Kie’s life, but she knew that Kie would gush about it.
“I mean yea. Who would have thought Pope, you know, he’s got his head screwed on right, and he’s–”
She was cut off by Josh sitting down beside Y/N. She instantly tensed at the closeness. She wrapped her arms around herself, trying to make herself as small as possible while he spoke to Kie.
He held his hand out over Y/N’s lap, causing her to flinch, to shake Kie’s hand. Kie’s eyes were filled with concern as she watched Y/N. She had never seen her act like this before. Kie cautiously took the man’s hand as he introduced himself. “My name’s Josh.” He said bringing her hand up to kiss it, just as he had done with Y/N’s that night. Y/N zoned out feeling her breath become unsteady but tried to calm herself so Kie would not become suspicious.
“Kie,” She said pulling her hand away quickly, shocked by the upfront affection.
Josh snaked his arm around Y/N’s shoulders, as she could feel the vomit in her stomach rising, wanting to get rid of all the beer in her stomach. “Y/N didn’t tell me she had another Kook friend.” He said flashing a smile at her, but Y/N’s eyes were trained to the ground and she was frozen under his arm. Kie sent a worried look over to the boys by the keg, catching Pope’s attention.
“JJ, somethings up,” Pope said tapping JJ on the shoulder as he was pouring a beer.
“What are you on about?” He laughed looking at Pope.
Pope pointed to the fire that Y/N and Kie were sitting at. “Kie gave me a look, and if I’m not mistaken, that’s a Kook, cozying up to Y/N, you’re girlfriend, right now.” JJ felt the heat rise to his face as he shoved the cup that he was holding into Pope’s stomach before storming over to the three of them. JJ was quick to shove the guy from behind. Due to his grip around her shoulders, Y/n was sent tumbling too. Josh got up quickly, standing defensively, both hands clenched at his sides. Kie quickly moved to help Y/N up and over to the side and away from the fire as the two began fighting.
“What the hell bro?” Josh asked JJ, throwing his hands up.
“Don’t touch my fucking girlfriend. You may be a Kook but I’ll kick your ass all the way back to Figure 8.” JJ said moving toward him.
Josh snapped his head in your direction, with a quick smirk. “Your girlfriend, huh?” Josh said starting to patronize JJ, seeing how far he could push it. Y/N knew what was coming. Kie noticed her change in breathing, it felt like someone had punched her in the stomach. “She didn’t mention anything about you the last time that we were here.” Josh paused a smile on his face. “Ya know when we were making out, over there in the woods.”
Josh barely finished his sentence before JJ’s hand connected with his face. All they could see was blood. Josh stumbled back making his way toward the road. “Whatever, she’s not worth it man.”
By now there were tears streaming down Y/N’s face as she turned to walk down the beach. She couldn’t breathe, it felt like her lungs were on fire. Kie followed after her, trying to console her while the boys were trying to keep JJ from starting another fight. Somewhere along the way, Sarah came over with a bottle of water, asking Y/N to try and drink it.
Once Y/N and JJ settled down, the fight seemed to have dispersed the party, the pogues sat down on the dark beach silence falling over them. JJ thought about it more and more, what Josh had said. He was convinced that she had cheated on him, but he didn’t want to believe that Y/N could do that. He didn’t think she could, but her actions recently all seemed to mirror that. He hadn’t seen the way that she stiffened up around him as Kie had, or how she had tried to curl up and disappear when she heard his voice.
JJ was the first to break the silence, he wanted to get it over with, even if it meant in front of his friends, who didn’t seem to wanna leave. “Did you do it? Is he telling the truth? Did you cheat on me?” JJ’s words came out angry and aggressive, causing Y/N to pull her knees further into her chest. Kie shot him a death stare as she continued to run her hand up and down Y/N’s back to comfort her. After what she had witnessed over the past month, pieced together with tonight’s information, she had a feeling that she knew what happened.
Y/N took a deep breath and looked at JJ, but his head was turned, looking out over the dark ocean. “Yes, he was telling the truth but I didn’t-” a sob escaped from Y/n’s mouth as she coughed, Kie leaning down to try and help, even trying to shush me. JJ thought I cheated on him. He thought I would do that to him. “I didn’t cheat on you. At least I didn’t want to.” I said dropping my head into my knees crying. “I was going to the van to get a jacket, he stopped me, and I was drunk so I was weaker and couldn’t get him off me and-” Kie wrapped her arms around Y/N, who was trying to justify herself, holding the girl as she shook.
A look of realization crossed JJ’s face as he stood up. Anger boiled through him, making him want to hurt Josh even worse than he had. He let out a grunt as he kicked the sand in front of him.
“Look this is the last thing she needs right now ok.” John B said as he looked over and pointed at Y/N practically crumbled in Kie’s arms. “That should be you.” He said before backing away and standing next to Pope and wrapping an arm around Sarah leading them back towards the van.
JJ took the short few strides to where he could kneel down in front of her. He looked at Kie, silently asking for a moment alone with her. “You okay?” Kie asked as she slowly removed herself from around the girl. Y/N sat back up nodding at Kie, before using the sleeves of her shirt to wipe away the tears on her face. Her eyes met JJ’s as Kie walked towards the van, joining the others. JJ slid his arm around her watching to see how she reacted, pulling her close when she fell into him. The short silence that fell over them seemed necessary, as they both sorted through their thoughts.
Y/N was the first to speak, “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you. I was scared that you would be mad or wouldn’t believe me. I mean... “ She trailed.
JJ turned, putting his hands on either side of her face. “No No, this isn’t on you. This wasn’t your fault ok?” JJ said, shaking his head. His eyes started to tear up as he began wiping even more that were falling down yours. He took a deep breath, “I know why you didn’t tell me, but moving forward, don’t hide something from me, okay? Nothings gonna come between us, I don’t want that fear to stop you from getting better, or getting the help that you need, okay?” He pushed his forehead against hers, letting them both breathe for a moment. JJ’s thoughts wandered to all the changes that had overcome Y/N’s character over the past month. He felt guilty for not being alarmed enough to ask.
“I should have noticed, I’m sorry baby,” JJ said, pulling her closer to him.
“I did want anyone to. I am ashamed of it, I feel like, like it’s my fault.” Y/N choked out, she felt like she couldn’t catch a breath.
“This is not your fault.” JJ repeated as he ran his hands through your hair. “Me, the pogues, Sarah, and whoever else you need are here for you. We can get you a therapist, or talk to the police, we’ll be with you every step of the way.” He let his hand rub up and down her back. He knew that whatever steps came next were going to be hard, but he wanted to help Y/N in every way that he could.
“Thank you JJ” She pulled her head up, looking into his eye. “I’m glad I have you, really. While I didn’t get to choose to tell you, it feels better to have it out there. This all feels a little bit more manageable with you by my side.” She leaned forward and kissed JJ before pulling back. “I love you JJ.”
“I love you too Y/N,” He said as they both smiled. JJ pulled her into a tight hug again. “Oh, and I’m not letting you out of my sight from now on.”
“Oh boy” Y/N laughed, making JJ feel a little better.
