anywhere your blood flows red, i’ll make you just like me
Vampire AU, anyone?
Arthur Kirkland, a privateer during his human life and now a feared vampire, haunts the shores of the New World. Alfred F. Jones is was the son of a preacher with an unbecoming penchant for seeking out the rowdy sailors detested by the rest of their colonial New English town.
Pictured: Shortly after Alfred has his first (very messy) meal as a vampire, Arthur “examines” his fang growth. Alfred is taking his transformation and newfound bloodthirst disturbingly well.
For this AU, I’ve been toying with the idea of two-sided corruption. On the one hand, we have Alfred abandoning his passage to heaven for a creature of the night who can grant him eternal life if he’s willing to become just like him—a monster. On the other, we have Arthur, jaded but principled (in a twisted vampire way), being enticed into bloody and chaotic indulgence by his new protege.
I made a playlist for this concept (which is actually a subset of a 9 hour playlist) but I’m not sure how to share it yet T^T

[Content ID: art of an original character and Astarion from Baldur's Gate 3. On the left, the original character is visible from waist up as they are seated out of frame. They extend their arm closer to the audience so their fingers touch Astarion's stomach and their arm farther from the audience behind his back. The original character is topless, with long hair pulled back over pointed elven ears. Their eyes are closed and they have a slight smile. There are two puncture wounds on their neck, with blood dripping down. There is a smudge of red, seemingly blood, in the shape of lips on the corner of their jaw, indicating a previous kiss. On the right, Astarion is standing, but bent forward. He extends his arm closer to the audience across the original character's forearm, holding at the elbow, and his arm farther from the audience disappears behind them as if in an embrace. His face is scrunched up in a kiss against the original character's forehead. His lips are stained with blood. He is wearing his usual camp outfit. /End ID]
I received this wonderfully soft and intimate couple sketch commission from @ghostwise of my high elf tav oc Étoile and Astarion. I'm in love with their shapes and the flow of Étoile's hair and Astarion's curls and the wrinkles of his face — as well as their jaws!? Just everything.
I was trying to decide on one of three poses for this commission and I'm glad I picked this one. That it is a sketch makes it feel dreamy, I think. Something for the elves to revisit in reverie years down the line.

One of the craziest claims/opinions I have come across in the BL fandom is "Thai BLs aren't creative"
Sweetheart, my sweet fucking dumbasses, Thai BL industry was (one of) the first ones to create a BL with a time loop concept (Triage), with parallel universe concept (vice versa, two worlds), Time travelling (Love once upon a time, I feel you linger in the air), Twins interchanging places (Not me, Twins the series), mafia (red peafowl, kinnporse, gangster oppa, unforgotten night), and so much more. They have shows on racing, murder thriller, supernatural, prostitution, disability, class differences, FUCKING VAMPIRES.
Y'all are so fucking dumb and detached from reality

I don't think I've posted about this before, soo...
Dagcup + romanticized cannibalism + general noncon elements
Dagur holding Hiccup down and taking bites out of him. Ripping out chucks of flesh and leaving wounds that bleed like a river and scar like a dragons bite. Cutting off a finger or two to save for later.
Maybe he takes some extra bites out of Hiccup's stump because nerve damage means he can do more before the brunette starts crying out in pain. Maybe he collects a few bottles of blood that he straight up drinks, or adds to his cooking. And all the while he's saying such sweet, twisted words.
"I need you with me always." "Just keeping a part of you forever." "Your blood clots so well!" "You taste so good." "You make such pretty sounds when I bite you. Do you like it?" "You look so cute when you cry!"
The praise never stops. The obsessive words of keeping Hiccup with him forever, in one form or another, are a constant drum in Hiccup's ears.
The pain never stops.

Prompt #235
Hero brushed their fingertips over Villain’s bloodied temple. You’re hurt.”
Villain lurched back as if the gentle touch was a venomous bite. “Don’t touch me! Don’t act like you care all of a sudden.”
“I’ve always cared.”
“Ah, so that’s why you sold me out to your little hero friends? Because you cared?”
“Your powers were killing you!”
“Your powers were killing me!”

What was the last horror movie that actually scared/disturbed you? The last one for me wasn’t even a horror movie. I watched society of the snow (la sociedad de la nieve in its native Spanish) and it wasn’t even a horror movie, just a disaster movie. But I really haven’t stopped thinking about it since I first seen it months ago.
it takes a decent amount for a horror film to truly get to me (besides a simple jumpscare reaction) but judging by my letterboxd diary it was skinamarink in ‘23. it didn’t affect me a ton but some of the scenes got under my skin in a way a film hasn’t in a while, but not too much where I can’t rewatch it. oldboy isn’t horror but that definitely got to me, didn’t scare me but my god that ending is so effective it’s crazy.
