I prefer bastards too. In part because of my love of enemies to lovers, in part because my first ML was Gu JunPyo (even now JiHoo can die). I still love Lee MinHo because of BoF, even if he's not the best actor.
girls whose first kdrama was boys over flowers are the ones who grew up into the most big brained women let it be known!! gu jun pyo loved that silly jandi with all of his entire idiotic heart and you can't change my mind ever. i even loved kim tan from the heirs which would probably lead me to get stoned by like 99% of the population but idc that was #my fool in ugly sweaters so yes lee minho is a very fond friend to me who needs a better eye for kdrama scripts
anw now i'm thinking of my other favourite bastard kdrama leads. ji sung in secret love is quite up there he toed the line between deranged/deranged in love very well........and who can forget hyun bin in secret garden.......life changing i fear

10 Answers, 10 Questions
Thanks for tagging me @overthinkingkdrama I actually read your post but didn’t realizad you tagged me before I got the notification lol :D
What’s a drama you hate that everyone else seems to love?
I remember you/Hello Monster (sorry to everyone, and also to you Jona, I know you love it :S). I just liked the storyline between the brothers, but I didn’t care about the police department, and also I was spoiled about the big secrets in this drama before I even started it, so the mysterious part was also gone, so I just couldn’t enjoy the drama.
What drama do you love but everyone else seem to hate?
Cheese in the Trap and Tomorrow with you. Everyone else hated the ending of CITT but I liked it cause it was realistic and fit the whole concept of the drama. And with Tomorrow with you, I loved the pairing so much that I didn’t care about the plot, I just wanted the married couple to be happy ever after. Normally I’m not the kind of person who likes a drama just because of the romance, but their chemistry was just amazing.
Who is the most unfairly maligned idol actor you would defend to your dying breath?
My precious baby IU. I just saw her in Moon Lovers so I didn’t see much of her acting but I will still defend her. Ok she isn’t the best Idol-actor but those close-ups didn’t make her a favor, plus I’ve seen a lot of worse Idol-actors that made me drop a drama. (That probably didn’t really sound like I’m defending her I think but ok). It’s just, I think she was way too harshly critized while ML and she deserved better.
What’s do you consider the most important fact for your drama watching enjoyment: a unique/interesting premise, good pacing, a satisfying ending? (You can only pick one.)
Definetly Good Pacing. An interesting premise can make me watch a drama, but if you don’t execute it ina good way, I can loose the interest W . And about the satisfying ending, for me a drama is never about the ending but about the journey. So if a drama has a good pacing, I will like and enjoy it. And good pacing does not mean to me that it has to be fast, just the right pacing to the right drama, sometimes it could be slow, but sometimes, especially if it’s an action drama, it could be fast.
Is there a show you watched toward the beginning of your kdrama career and you opinion has since changed drastically for better or worse since then?
Mask, well not really drastically, but when I when I was watching it I really loved it and enjoyed it, but now if I think back of it, I don’t really remember it, so it didn’t have a big impact on me, which means it was probably not that good.
When would you say kdramas became a regular part of your life?
Well at evenings when I have free time, I normally watched tv with my familiy, or american dramas on my pc, but since I started watching kdramas, I spend most of my time with kdramas instead of the other two.
Which common kdrama romantic convention have you seen a million times but you still can’t get enough of it? (Tying shows, drunken piggyback rides, umbrellas, buying medicine for the love interest, first snow kisses/confessions, etc.)
Healing the wound of the person that got hurt, eg with a band-aid. It shows that the partner cares for the person.
Which common kdrama convention do other people go gaga for but you just don’t get?
Love-confessions, I don’t know why, but for me love-confessions aren’t really that memorable to me, I quickly forget them lol
Which actor do you avoid like the plague?
I don’t really have one, sorry. Maybee...  Kim Young Kwang, because he doesn’t know how to pick good dramas (I didn’t like his latest two dramas)
Is there a particular writer’s body of work you find yourself drawn to? Who and why?
No Hee-Kyung: It’s okay it’s love and Dear my friends are my favorites. Her writing get’s better and better with time. And especially with these 2 dramas she doesn’t fears showing us darker stories, but she does it in a light way, I don’t know if you can understand me. It’s just the stories she tells are dark and realistic stories, but it doesn’t make you feel depressed.
My questions:
Rom-com or mystery-thriller? Why?
Is there a drama you love, but wouldn’t recommend everyone cause you think it wouldn’t fit everyones taste?
What’s more important to you your favorite actors/actresses in a drama or a good plotline with a good script?
Do you like to get spoilers before watching a drama or do you hate everyone that spoiled the story to you :D?
If you listen to kpop, did you start before watching kdramas or after?
Favorite Director, and do you realize if the drama is from him/her when you watch a drama?
What are your reasons to drop a drama?
Is there an actor/actress whose complete filmography you watched, if not, who is the actor you watched the most?
Did you or would you ever consider watching a 50-episodes long sageuk drama?
Did you reach a point in a drama where you were just tired of the protagonists and started to root for the villain? Who and why?
Finding the questions was harder than answering them lol
