Lately, the government and the top banks of Australia have been pushing for the eradication of payments by cash, leaving phone apps alone, and possibly a medical implant as well.
I have fought against it as best I can, buy there's not much I can do.
It's illegal to have large amounts of cash, and self defense is a crime, so storing at home is not really an option. Besides, I am a disabled pensioner, and the government decided long ago that going through the bank is mandatory.
Covid was the best opportunity they ever had to eliminate personal freedom - I mean, to force everyone to use insecure apps on insecure phones that had insecure operating systems on insecure hardware.
There were scandal when apps were exposed data harvesting, accessing information they didn't have the rights to, and even hacking the microphone and camera of the phone.
https://www.consumerreports.org/electronics-computers/privacy/how-to-protect-yourself-from-camera-and-microphone-hacking-a1010757171/
But the push to do the thing was relentless. You can't stop progress! Nobody else is complaining, the bank told me.
Except people do complain, helpless and hopeless. I worked in tech support, and would hear all day long the agony of those whose assets were cleaned out, and that was in the days of internet banking, when the scammer call centers of India were just a sparkle in Satan's Eye.
You see, the reason banks existed was that they took money in exchange for the service of PROTECTION.
Now, they take your money, and if you get robbed, that's a YOU problem.
And the government is backing them up. Remember the GFC, when most governments expressed their hatred of capitalism by backing banks no matter how badly they embezzled customers?
The Bank and the State had merged.
Mussolini's vision had succeeded.
Fascism took a century, but it in the end, it won. But I am not sure even the 1930s fascists could see this coming.

I think about the phones that were given out at the Olympics. And just out of curiosity, I looked at what phones were given to participants of the 2012 Olympics in London, most closest to their era. I can imagine how Art and Patrick played with these phones, making a review despite the fact that they literally have the same phones (there are some drawings on the back of the phones, but I don’t really understand how it's determined who gets which phone, to choose from or randomly?)
Although I think Patrick was a iphone baby, and he would have an iPhone 4
Bold of you to assume that I wouldn't get lost after reading a single sentence. I had no idea these were even a thing tbh. 😭😭😭 And don't even get me started on iPhones, no no no, I'm an android girlie.
But I think if teenage Art and Patrick were given free phones, they would exploit that possession in so many ways. I'm imagining them discovering that the camera can do panorama photos as well and then taking the silliest wobbly pictures of people mid-step and having such a blast.
The storage would be full, downloading countless of apps that their old phones didn't support. Probably grinding Plants vs Zombies instead of practicing or abusing their Pou. They'd make twitter accounts as well, naming themselves cummaster69 and massiveblondiecock, and then fake beef with each other, one of them supporting the phenomenal player Patrick Zweig, the other one deeply devoted to the ever so sweet Art Donaldson, doing their best to go public and see which one of them do people like more. (Patrick deletes his account after discovering Art is the more beloved one)
And if they get really lucky, they send a meme to Roger Federer via Bluetooth, giggling like two school girls when they meet him by the courts. Like they would literally be behaving like children.

I feel like starting a fight ._.
Apple or Android?
maybe android? In terms of camera, apple takes the win, there are Android that have good cam quality like the Samsung s series, if apps are essential for you it's better to have Android. Though Apple has the fastest chip, and a good camera, the downside of Apple is their products aren't durable compared to Android. I think if you're looking for a budget-friendly gadget it's best to buy Android because of its affordability. And Android is more customizable than IOS! So I think Android is better ^___^ (I yap too much T___T)

Spacetop G1, World’s first Laptop that uses AR Glasses instead of a Display
A laptop that employs augmented reality glasses as a display was called the Spacetop G1 system, and it was shown to a thousand productivity pioneers by the tech firm Sightful last year.
The upgraded Gen 1 device removes the requirement for the user to stoop over a tiny screen when working remotely on a laptop by placing a 100-inch virtual display directly in their eyes.
In this blog, The TechRobot will showcase the World’s first AR laptop: Spacetop G1. So let us begin.
What is Spacetop G1?
Sightful’s Screenless Laptop, the Spacetop G1, combines a computer with comfortable, lightweight augmented reality glasses. Running on the device is SpaceOS, a spatial operating system with an emphasis on online operations intended for productivity.
The weight of the AR glasses is 85 grams, but the Vision Pro, depending on the Light Seal, weighs between 600 and 650 grams. The keyboard is bulkier compared to a MacBook Air or iPad Pro, measuring less than 12 inches in width and weighing three pounds.
Cost of AR Laptop
The Screenless Laptop, Spacetop G1 charges $1,700 and is just a keyboard with spectacles attached.
Spacetop G1 Specs
Spacetop G1, features a Qualcomm Snapdragon QCS8550 CPU, Kryo GPU, Adreno 740 AI, dual eNPU V3, 48 INT8, 12 FP16 TOPs, 16 GB LPDDR5, 128 GB UFS3.1 storage, and 8-hour battery life.
They have two OLED display screens, a 50° field of vision, a 90Hz refresh rate, and very crisp text rendering.
The glasses enable Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5G, and a 5MP camera. They also contain a microphone for use in online meetings.
Benefits of AR Laptops
1. Endless View
With Spacetop’s Virtual Desktop, you may get amusement and information without having to navigate around, making it a convenient substitute for real screen space. Although it’s not the only solution with this functionality, this one could be the easiest to use.
A standard keyboard and touchpad, Spacetop’s AR glasses, and a perhaps lower price tag might allow customers to enjoy endless screen areas without sacrificing functionality. For individuals who would rather have a more ordered workstation, this would be a time-saving alternative.
2. Absolute privacy
Multi-monitor laptop attachments should not be used in public areas due to the increased danger of uninvited eyes peeping at private information caused by an excessive number of physical displays. Although privacy screens are available on certain computers and monitors, they are limited to one monitor.
To solve this, Spacetop is a Screenless Laptop, letting the user see their screen alone until it is shared with others. But it also means that those standing close to the user can’t see the screen without their glasses.
3. Improved posture
Laptops’ screens are firmly attached to the keyboard, making them portable yet uncomfortable. Some people find relief from this neck pain by attaching a desktop monitor.
The screenless laptop, Spacetop, provides a more comfortable height and does away with the need for arms or ergonomic monitor supports. Due to this, laptops are a better choice for use at home or in the workplace.
4. Laser Focus
Spacetop G1 is an Augmented Reality (AR) device that reduces visual distractions so users can work productively and enjoy their free time. The apps it may utilize, including Windows or macOS-based software and limited gaming, are restricted by its Android-based operating system and mobile hardware.
Notwithstanding these drawbacks, Spacetop provides a more practical experience than a typical computer since it places all of the necessary components in front of and surrounding users. Instead of letting others decide for them, users may choose whether to allow virtual distractions to affect them.
Highlight – Introducing Travel Mode For Meta Quest Headsets
Best AR Glasses for Laptops
1. Apple AR Glasses
Apple plans to develop AR glasses that look like conventional spectacles with a built-in display. A prototype of the glasses has a thick, attractive frame and resembles high-end luxury sunglasses. With references to Project Starboard and reports of a glassOS, the prototype is anticipated to function on iOS 14.
Though it could take a few more years for a public release, rumors indicate that Apple has already started the second phase of development. The glasses will have the ability to add prescription lenses, gesture-controlled instructions that connect with the Apple Watch, and a true vision display on both lenses.
Possible capabilities include the ability to use virtual things in real-world settings, do activities without using a phone, and enable immersive phone conversations and remote collaboration software.
2. Meta Glasses
Rebranding Facebook to Meta, Mark Zuckerberg is concentrating on augmented reality glasses and headsets. The business plans to deliver Meta spectacles, a prototype of their augmented reality spectacles, in late 2024. The Project Nazare and Project Aria prototypes provide a fully functional augmented reality experience, with 3D visuals and an elegant design. It is anticipated that the Meta Glasses will include an immersive experience with radio, speakers, and cameras, a holographic display with built-in projectors, batteries, and sensors, and a broad field of vision. In 2024, the prototype is anticipated to be released.
3. Xreal Air 2 Ultra
The Air 2 Ultra glasses from Xreal are an improvement over the Air 2 model and are aimed at competing with Apple’s Vision Pro and Meta’s Quest 3 headsets. Complete positional tracking, a form factor akin to eyeglasses, and compatibility for immersive AR apps, TV viewing, and flat-screen gaming are all features of the Air 2 Ultra.
It has a 52-degree field of vision, 500 nits of brightness, two cameras for environmental mapping, hand tracking, and compatibility with Xreal’s Nebula AR environment.
Is AR safe for your eyes?
Prolonged use of AR might result in headaches, nausea, and straining of the eyes. This is a result of our eyes continually focusing on objects at different distances when using AR. This can cause pain and eye tiredness.
Conclusion
The future of laptops with AR like the Spacetop G1 marks a breakthrough in laptop technology by utilizing augmented reality to provide a 100-inch virtual display that improves user posture, productivity, and privacy.
The Spacetop G1 presents a new option for remote work by addressing typical ergonomic concerns associated with standard laptops by mixing AR glasses with a powerful computing machine and the SpaceOS operating system.
Despite several drawbacks associated with its Android-based operating system and the possibility of eye discomfort after extended usage, the Spacetop G1 breaks new ground in augmented reality technology by offering consumers a more useful and engaging experience.

JSAUX Nylon Braided Cords (Micro USB/Lighting) - Part 2 (second half recorded)(final) (April. 6th, 2024)
No need for another “On This Day” throwback post.
Hey guys. Sorry for keeping it waited on this before this month ended. So anyways, welcome back to this continuous topic review of my new braided cables. Last time where I’d covered my long awaited charging test to my Samsung Tab E device, It’s time where I also covered my recent iPad tablet device here. Thankfully at the same day after did with my Samsung device’s charging test, I’d moved quickly to another one with my next device I’d mentioned. Without further ado, onto this final part share.
⬆️ (29th Image; back in 2:41 P.M.)
Switching things right along, I’d now recorded with my recent iPad device to charge up. Since now that with my Samsung Tab E full on battery; all thanks to my new blue braided cables from the first half review, I’m able to use it to take photos with its camera app. It worked fine from years later and the image quality was good. 👍 There’s more photos from during this second half review I’d gotten. Anyways, this here’s after letting my iPad device’s battery life drained about hours later.
⬆️ (30th to 31st Images; from 2:45 to 2:47 P.M.)
It’s a right time to bring my red colored braided cable in good use. I’d took it out to give a good look before plugging with my Apple charger adapter. It was exactly designed from my blue braided cables, but ya know; differently designed lighting type of cable.
⬆️ (32nd and 39th Images; from 2:48 to 2:57 P.M.)
Now I’m plugging to my red colored braided cable into this Apple charger adapter. Good thing now that for the adapter stills functional, but also alongside with its original lighting cable I’d previously used for my recent iPad device in few years or less. I’ll do in comparison post with my normal cables for another time. Now back to this topic review, its charging progress had finally started when checking onto my iPad device. Looks promising that I’m good for having those new charging cables; from my mom’s help we’d ordered from in Amazon.com. 🙂👍
⬆️ (40th to 41st Images; from 2:58 to 7:20 P.M.)
Hours later when checking on my iPad device’s battery, it’s now fully charged at 7:20 P.M. that sure felt this long. That’s my opinion before going to bed during nighttime. 🥱 Nevertheless, at least its get the job done with my red braided charging cable; same goes for my blue braided cable from my first half review. Though looking back its charging time from where the beginning; at 2:53 til 7:20 P.M., it took about less than 4 hours in comparison with my blue braided cable to my android tablet for 5 hours. Doesn’t matter which is charged better or quicker, I’m very glad when going through my new braided cables for the first time.
My Overall Thoughts/Impressions: ⬇️
Completed through this second/final half review, my red colored braided lighting type cable definitely fits to my recent iPad device. Though having to wait hours later for its charging test to get through before bed regardless. That being said, I did my best to get by when writing this review from it. All in all, I’m very happy for my new cable upgrades to set up. Do wish them last longer for future uses and among with my other tech items I can charge with.
⬆️ (From April 6th, 2024 to May. 19th, 2024)
Before signing off, here’s another close up for both braided cables that includes putting both straps in. As for its length, this is far I can get before photo shoot on my bed. Nevertheless, I’m sure they’re both similar in length beyond their differences.
Hope you guys enjoy this final review topic I’d really wanted to have. I’ll be taking care with my new braided cables as I can, but taking a break before saving some new topics and continuing ones soon. For now, here’s to a final week til June 2024 and to everyone gotten plans for the summer. Good luck! 👋
Also, this. ⬇️

Navigating the Complex World of Mobile App Development
In today’s tech-driven world, mobile apps have become a cornerstone of how we connect, work, and play. Whether you’re launching a startup or enhancing an established business, building a mobile app can be a game-changing move. One of the most important decisions you’ll face is choosing the right technology stack. The tech stack you pick will directly influence your app’s performance, scalability, and overall user experience.
What Exactly Is a Tech Stack?
A tech stack is essentially the set of tools, programming languages, and frameworks you use to build your app. For mobile apps, the stack typically consists of three main components:
Front-End: This is what users see and interact with — the app’s interface.
Back-End: This is the engine under the hood — handling data storage, processing, and integrations.
Platform: The operating system your app is built for, like iOS, Android, or both.
Key Considerations When Picking a Tech Stack
Let’s dive into the options and what you should think about when deciding which tools to use.
Platform Options
Native Development
Languages:
iOS: Swift or Objective-C
Android: Kotlin or Java
Pros:
Best-in-class performance.
Full access to device features like cameras, sensors, and GPS.
Cons:
Higher costs.
Longer development time if building for both iOS and Android.
2. Cross-Platform Development
Frameworks:
React Native (JavaScript and React)
Flutter (Dart)
Xamarin (C#)
Pros:
Faster development.
Reusable code for both iOS and Android.
Generally lower costs.
Cons:
Slightly lower performance compared to native apps.
Limited access to some advanced native features.
3. Hybrid Development
Tools:
Ionic (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
PhoneGap/Cordova (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Pros:
Easy to learn and work with if you’re familiar with web development.
Leverages standard web technologies.
Cons:
Performance is not as strong as native or well-optimized cross-platform apps.
User experience can feel less “native.”
How to Make the Best Choice for Your App
Your decision will depend on several factors. Here are some key points to consider:
App Complexity:
For simple apps, cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter are great choices.
For feature-heavy or complex apps, native development might be the way to go.
Time to Market:
If you’re on a tight schedule, cross-platform tools can speed up the process.
Budget:
Native development can be pricey since you’ll likely need separate teams for iOS and Android.
Cross-platform and hybrid options are usually more cost-effective.
Performance Needs:
Native apps deliver the best performance, but modern cross-platform frameworks have come a long way and can handle most needs efficiently.
Team Expertise:
Leverage the skills your team already has. If they’re experienced in JavaScript, for example, React Native might be a natural fit.
Final Thoughts
Choosing the right tech stack is a pivotal step in mobile app development. It’s about finding the perfect balance between your project’s requirements, your budget, and your team’s expertise. By weighing factors like app complexity, performance, and cost, you can make a well-informed choice that sets your app up for success. Remember, a solid tech stack is the foundation of a scalable, user-friendly, and high-quality app.

1st pic with my new iPhone taken more than 24hours after getting it. My new phone experience has mostly been bad. My main motivation for getting an iPhone was wanting a great phone camera and engaging the family hive mind aspect shared by the Apple family. My wife and two of my kids use them. However, at this point, if I could do it over, I’d simply get a high end Samsung.
The good: This pic is a masterpiece compared to what my old phone would produce and being able to track each other and each other’s devices is great. Many of the apps on my android phone ported over and all of those work fine. All the apps I had to manually download work fine as well. The phone’s battery is outstanding so far.
The bad: The cellular modem in our new phones suck!!! Even the WiFi modem is shit compared to my old Samsung A50 and her iPhone 12. I’m probably going to have to upgrade our home WiFi network but that still leaves me no fix for traveling in rural areas with weak cellular coverage. My A50 was a marvel at pulling in a signal. I have 1 bar sitting here at my house! Cellular signal was never a problem here before. I was excited to take advantage of Apple’s MagSafe technology that allows wireless charging combined with magnets that affix your phone to the charger. The idea is brilliant, the implementation is flawed for too many reasons to go into. Also, I’ll never buy a phone at Best Buy again.
Still, this pic was taken in fading light with no physical stabilization and the barn is 4 tenths of a mile away. Just wow.
