i've gotten a lot of new followers recently because of doctor who, so i figure i'll say something i was going to say at the start of the anniversary specials - if you're thinking of getting back into the show or starting it for the first time because of tennant or ncuti, consider going back and watching some of the other doctor's eras as well

it doesn't even have to be in order! maybe you want to watch series 10 to give twelve and bill a try (you should!) - or maybe you never saw eccleston when you were younger and want to start at series 1 - or maybe you skipped jodie and want to give her another go. start anywhere you want!

will it be confusing? maybe. will there be references to things you don't understand? absolutely. but unless you've been watching since 1963, chances are that everyone has watched this show at least a little bit out of order (on that note, the classic series is also pretty accessible nowadays if you want to dive into that as well 👀)

you'll probably have your own preferences - different eras of the show will have their own individual strengths and weaknesses - but that's the beauty of this show: the fact that it will mean something slightly different to everyone who watches it. every series and every doctor is someone's favourite, and they're all worth watching for that reason alone.

Does Jane just have bad luck with online dating or is the size difference just a common issue? 😂

There currently is a small comic in the works to answer this question, but as a short answer: she in general is a magnet when it comes to ending up with people that have larger size differences.

My idea was that the entire world that she would be living in would have giants, tinies and everything in-between as a common occurrence and that's why it would ALWAYS be unavoidable for her to run into folks different from her.
