I’m back again with dabihawks (mostly Dabi) art because my writers/artblock go-to is @satelliteblue‘s bachelorette au.

One would not think so for the premise, but the characterizations and plot are actually top notch and I’ve got it bookmarked and recommend. My top 5 fics ever and part one is completed with part two partially finished!

Love this fic and I’ve reread it a couple times and every time the foreshadowing and premise clocks me in the face like it’s the first time. The interactions are fluid and in character even with minor figures that only have minimal screen time in canon, and the plot is way more in depth and angsty behind the scenes than a reality tv show au should even be allowed to be. Not to mention that the characterization of all the todorokis is perfectly on point, giving an outlook for Rei, all the kids, and Enji and managing to make each one seem the most compelling in their pov.

It gets you to sympathize and agree with Enji and his guilt and remorse, only to blindside you with a switch to say, Dabi’s pov, where he calls Enji an egotistical maniac with a god complex on live tv without name dropping him, and yeah, that tracks with all the characteristics he lays out for the man and his track record.

No real good guys, no real bad guys, no us vs them. Just. People, growth and change and personalities and it genuinely is so well written that it makes me giddy and hurt at the same time.

i almost don't even know what kind of trope to label them as.

loud and clingy x quiet and reserved, annoying x annoyed, huge freak in the sheets x equally freaky in the sheets, enabled x enabler, obsessed x obsessed

originally Liu wanted NOTHINGGG to do with Toby, he was just tracking his brother down to try and kill him when he ended up at the manor. He didn't even intend to STAY at the manor, but ended up getting stuck there like everyone else.

Which, for my manor you cannot leave unless Slender has allowed it for like, missions/murders n shit. But if you try to leave just to get out of there, you won't be able too. You'll just end up somehow back to the front steps of the wretched place

but yeah, Liu wanted Nothing to do with Toby and his advances which, Toby first saw Liu and wanted that man BAD. He doesn't believe in love at first sight and all that, but he knew he was obsessed with him and would have done whatever it took to have him.

For the first like few years, it was a chase of Toby trying to woo Liu over. Sometimes whenever Toby would get too touchy for Liu, Liu would just straight up kill him. Shot in the head or chest, however. And Toby would just come right back after a bit of time and keep trying

And when they do end up together, Toby drags him out on missions. He would still occasionally end up partnered with Masky/Hoodie, but if he was ever given a Solo mission, you can bet your ass he's doing everything he can to try an convince Liu to come with.

When they aren't on missions, Toby follows him around talking and talking and Talking and TALKING. Which is pretty good, he fills the silence between the two.

Toby enjoys touch, he'll be physical with anyone as much as he can. He doesn't really have a sense of personal space, and usually puts himself and his wants first (even to a selfish extent), which is something he started having to fix a bit when he got with Liu. During the beginning stages of their relationship, it was a common problem that Toby would cling too much and it would end up leaving Liu overstimulated, needing space and no contact for a while to recover, which would usually tick (hah) Toby off a bit. Hoodie was actually the one to try and help teach Toby to not take it personally, which ended up proving helpful and worked.

And I knowwww I'm making Liu seem really uninterested in this guy and their relationship but i SWEARRR he's just as obsessed, he's just so. so much more quiet about it. like Toby belongs to him just as much as he belongs to Toby. It takes him some time to warm up to Toby and just how he is, he's energetic, loud, his presence can be a bit much at times if you haven't already been around him for some time.

Liu is pretty much the opposite of that. He's quiet, reserved, he'll keep to himself and even when approached by another that wants to talk he won't say much, but he won't fully ignore the person. Whereas what Toby's feeling will show on his face, that doesn't apply to Liu. Unless they're together, that is, then Toby gets to see Liu crack a smile or laugh sometimes. Which, he fucking LOVES Liu's laugh. It's loud, abrupt, unfiltered, and a little scratchy. Liu's stitches doesn't allow him to smile very well, but Toby loves it regardless. He thinks it's the best-looking smile out there and if you disagree with him, consider yourself dead. But don't agree too much, other-wise you'll also end up on a kill list.

Sorry this is kinda long, and I don't know if you wanted what they were like separately or together so I wrote this then another thing starting what they're like then scrapped it. But if you want that or to hear more about them I'd be happy too rant more, they give me brain worms

the reason there's two of them is because:

one has pre-fixed oc lore already

and the other was made as a self-insert vessel for me

So this au takes place in the city where sun, moon, earth and lunar live in their own apartment, if you read the notes on the drawings than it explains the situation a lil more, lunar ran away from eclipse and their cousins (Sun and moon) took lunar in (kinda adopting him as a lil brother) than earth started to realize how bad her dad was and decided to look for her siblings (Sun and moon barely met her because they ran away at a young age idk still working on this story a lillllll 😭🙏) so she started to live in Sun and moon's apartment along with lunar.

When eclipse gotten a lil better (I think cuz he started to realize how much of an ass he is) he started hanging out with earth and sometimes crashed at their apartment, the brothers hated it but he was quiet and earth liked him. (NOT A SHIP THEIR COUSINS) Earth helps eclipse with his thoughts and issues as eclipse doesn't rlly open up but he's calm with earth, earth takes care of him always keeping in contact during work while eclipse wanders around the city, earth gives him extra clothes, food and she even washes his clothes and does his hair.

Lunar still hates eclipse but he's learned to kinda deal with him around, they hang out a little as lunar plays video games in the apartment eclipse will sit far away from him on the couch sometimes he will even give him advice on how to play some games!

• I really wanted to keep him as human at first, but well, i love giving non-human traits to my faves and cat really fits him guys I'm sorry my first thought about him when i started watching him is that qCell is a pathetic wet cat it was predestined really. Anyways, i noticed not many artists (the ones who catboy-ifying him. maybe its just a me problem tho) give him whiskers, so i gave him whiskers👍

• Gray hairs were a random detail i decided to add, but then i gave it some thought and honestly, his life was (still tbh) stressful - so i guess it works👍

• Made half of his hair (not even stopping at just head hair) white just because im extra sometimes. Like, i could stop at just one streak, but why would i do that?

• Got some of his shit together after being taken away by Feds and stopped looking like he is about to pass out from everything really. God bles love truly changes people👍 It doesn't change the horrific eye bags tho, they are never going away, saying as a person with eyes bags, those bad boys are the part of me at this point, so are they for him

• Burn marks are mostly on body, they haven't touched face all that much.

• Okay, like i said, she's human-duckling shapeshifter - what that means, is that she can basically take any form ranging from just a normal human to just a normal duckling. Will point out - not a duck. Duckling.

• q!Mike is a creeper hybrid with like 45% of creeper in him. The green parts are really patchy all over the body, and also fluffy. He doesn't explode often (nearly never, not enough creeper in him ig).

• q!Pac is a creature indeed👍 He is something alien-esque - fishlike, that's kinda all i can say. More importantly, he glows and can regulate that glow.

• They weren't always like that tho. They were humans for the most of their life, but something happened (I haven't thought of something yet) and now they are like that👍

• Deffo soulmates in a "they are literally bonded by an actual soul" way.

My DCA hyperfixiation is not dying anytime soon but it's been slowing down this year and I had the biggest artblock of my life. Not like when I was a kid and didn't draw for a month straight and I was like 'meh, not big deal', I didn't have anxiety at the time so it was like, whatever, y'know but this time it's been so difficult to draw over the months, having a million ideas but feeling burned out all the time to draw.

Finally being able to focus more on my OCs is helping out so I hope next year gets better and I start going to therapy again (aparently I got evaluated as asperger and not autims when I was a teen wich means they put me in the 'low needs' group :) so they didn't gave me the help I needed :))) because I wasn't autistic enough :)))))) so we are looking to have me evaluated again, obtain the correct 'autims tag' and see a private psicologist, hopefully not like the last one (: )

Okay so since I first was introduced to tangle tower (I played it first) as soon as I saw Detective Grimoire I was like “oh he’s kinda..” but like not all the way up to simping levels (like in a denial state or something if that makes sense). The more and more I played with my friends in call, the more attached I got to him, I was originally looking to simp for Fitz but somehow this twink ass detective got to me first and has had a grip on me ever since. I somehow managed to have enough patience to stay in call to finish the whole game and my friend asked me “how was it?” Because he had to leave call before I finished the game and I was like “Detective Grimoire is so fine and for what???” A couple days later I decided to watch gameplays of the other two games (Secret of the swamp and the og flash game on newgrounds) because I was very content starved and obviously that did not help with this obsession. I’ve been like this for like a year and I’m still so insane about him. Since the games are very unpopular this feeling continues to get more and more rapid and also the fact I have artblock and writersblock it also kinda plays into it so I just have to imagine scenarios in my head. I swear I think about that man 24/7 I have to make any reference to the games he’s from to the smallest thing that remind me of them. He’s turned from a comfort character to a complete brainrot character, he lives rent free in my head like a fucking parasite. Call me generic for saying all of this for a twink ass mother fucker but like I don’t care, I wanna put him a cage and throw popcorn and peanuts at him like a zoo animal. I wanna get a rise out of him purposely and pick on him in a lighthearted way just to see what he’d do. I wanna see him sad so I can comfort him. I wanna put him in his place.
