HI!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! and im so sorry to break you the bad news. I have no style guide . because i have no idea what im doing out here. im kinda just fucking around and finding out🤒 my artstyle doesnt follow a specific guideline and i dont know how to accurately describe it, im just doing whatever i think would be the most fun to draw

heres some?? tips ??? i guess???? not really, moreso just like details of my artstyle. this probably isnt what you asked for exactly but i dont wanna give you just nothing 👇

-play around with shapes!!!! shape language, trying to figure out what shapes will better signify your characters personality or role or whatever, but also just play around with shapes to find different ways of making your characters look more unique!!!! different eye shapes, body shapes, hair shapes, clothing shapes, it can all go a long way

-keep the poses fluid!!!! i dont like to get into the habit of trying to make everything exact and following a rigid structure of how to pose the body, i just kinda mess around. do whatever feels right!! if that makes sense !!! i dont know how to explain it !!! just dont take it too seriously ykwim. a lot of people use kind of like a structure or specific framework for when they do anatomy, which is probably a good idea but for me i just “fuck it we ball“ that too. -hands are hard for everybody. Just dont worry about that, ok . i never draw hands exactly like how they should be. and i flop around between drawing four and five fingers a lot. but i think as long as you have the basic idea of how the fingers are poitioned and how they move and whatnot, you can kinda do whatever. not to mention youve got your references right in front of you!!!! you can just hold your hand right in front of you, and pose it however you want !!!! WOWIE!!!!!

-color wise, FUCK AROUND AND FIND OUT BABYYYY. sometimes if a drawing has a specific color palette or tone, ill color the background first and then choose the characters colors accordingly to see what fits best. something something color theory. or you can just be smart and use a bunch of overlays and color filters and whatnot. if youre having trouble coming up with color palettes for drawings or character designs entirely you can search up color palettes on google images or pinterest or whatever. i used to do that a lot, its helpful :-)
