Soo... Chosen has powers. The Spark is a Human AU. Other sticks- wait no humans- have been seen to have powers, like Quarter.

I swear why do I actually like and feel attached to Quarter- something is seriously wrong with me. He appeared for like, what, one chapter, and didn't even say anything?

If The Spark is a Human AU, then why do some humans have powers? Unless it's a human AU with powers. In which case, I'm an idiot.

Besides that, what does resonating actually mean? What is a 'core' and do people from other worlds have it as well? What does it do? You said somewhere that The Spark and a core are not the same thing.

Also, reading back on chapter one, what would have happened is Second touched Quarter's cage?

Like- because he's connected to it, would it hurt if he just- I dunno how to say this, but just kind of poked it with his finger?

The Faction is artificially granting their own, different types of synthesized power. It's not efficient, has many drawbacks, and isn't exactly healthy for the Factionist receiving it. Quarter has a sensitive mental connection to his ability, enough that it sent waves of a mental, phantom pain striking through his head like a hammer when Demo was flung into the energy and broke through. Such a sudden break was rather harsh on the Factionist.

If Second would have touched it, he would've been granted a little shock, as Quarter's energy is highly electric. But just a minor bump against the glowing cage lines wouldn't hurt Quarter at all. It was the sudden and unexpected force, not to mention the strength of Chosen's throw that contributed to Demo's speed as he was launched, that really contributed to Quarter's brief mental agony.

I am really, oddly happy for some reason that Quarter stuck out to you! I spent like twenty some minutes making him, and I plan for him to show up later at some point near the end of The Spark, edition one.

....Yes, I may have a sequel planned, shoosh- XD With the big ol' clifferhangery ending, I kinda have to make another fic don't I~?

I hope that answers your question, about why a lot of the Factionists are superpowered despite the tag on the fanfic labeling the AU as a Human AU. Which, is true, because it's an Earth in the story that everyone lives on, and everyone [with some possible exceptions] is a human. But, you know. Modificators. Human experimentation~? :D

Honestly, with how many people have asked a similar question: wondering why there are superpowers present despite the fanfic being labeled as a Human AU... I probably should add another clarifying tag, like the "Alternate Universe - Superpowers" one... XD Oy. I thought my clarity was okay on that front, but apparently not.

Luckily, we have these asks!! :D I am answering the questions, ehehehe

Resonation lore is a big deal in The Spark AU. I'll say what I can for now, it's such a rambly topic for me- XD

As far as "other worlds"... Uh, there is only one relevant to the plot right now. Which is the one that I implied Chosen and his parents came from when Chosen was rather young as stated in-story.

Second was born on Earth, though, as seen in the flashy-flashy-backy-backy~ U v U The poor boy has no clue...

A core is like a store of energy? but not like superpower energy or an energy that can be utilized for running/powering something, more like... How do I say this... More like the heart. A core is not vitally important to whom it belongs to, but it is a big part of who the character with the core is and what kind of potential the character has for certain things that are not human in nature at all~

It will be explained much better later in the plot.

The Spark and a core are very not the same thing, but the Spark is something that can be contained within a core, and only within a certain species that isn't human that Chosen and Second may both happen to be- *is cut off before further explanation*

Quarter's artificial power is sorta... the ability to create electric matter and shape it at will. It's quite formidable, and he utilized it to encase the roof in a large electric energy barrier, glowing cage lines meant to keep the fight from moving off the roof, and to keep Chosen contained with the other Factionsists so he couldn't flee.

Not like it worked- O w O Chosen is a LOT stronger than he looks, and Demo is so huge, it took the trio quite by surprise~

HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT?!?! :O I AM IN SHOCK- Yes, Quarter does use his ability to draw words in the air, he loves practicing cursive especially- WHAT THE STICK, YOU GUESSED THAT SO SPOT ON RIGHT-

Quarter does know a fair amount of sign language. Used it mostly before he joined the Faction and ended up receiving his current power. He's very close with Demolition and Kree, and often only communicates with them using looks and facial expressions, of which the other two tend to understand very easily due to how long they spent training together.

The process of receiving a synthetic power is quite painful by the way!! :D And, uh, most of the Factionist incidents/encounters are drawn up to play some sympathy toward the guys. Also because, I like giving everyone a character and personality! U v U Even if it does mean spending a little extra time creating said OC.

Now the Mercenaries are a liiiittle bit different in the sympathetic regard? As in, you can tell they're only following orders, but they do enough harmful things it's difficult at the start to, uh, feel the exact same way about the four of them, than it is to feel about any other misguided Factionist who believes they're in the right. Mercenaries, uh... let's just say I have plans. I say this a lot, don't I- ...we'll get there when we get there, I really can't spoil tooooo much~ >:3

Anyway, Quarter's plan was as I mentioned: Making the cage to box Chosen in, so his two teammates could fight him better. Quarter would have also joined in the fight two, creating energy arrows or projectiles once he was sure that the initial cage lines were stable. It does take him a moment or two to make sure that the energy he is outputting is in place. A detriment, or weakness, I guess.

More crossover ideas!! TS!Quarter and SS!Hazard, oh STICK. They'd be besties, for sure. O w O

Quick question since in raven poetry the storm dove universe is merely fiction to them how would the storm dove universe react to seeing all the circumstances raven poetry has? So im so glad i never succeeded in getting you into Dragon Age. If i had, you would have gotten into it just as it had it's batman and Robin and burned it's entire franchise to the ground.

Its bad. Really, really bad.

It basically did a soft reboot, by burning down half the setting's continent, to ashes by killing off all the places and cultures that the first 3 games explored OFFSCREEN with no fanfare or drama to it, in favor of the far more boring north that nobody cared about.

All so that if there was gonna be a DA 5, the series would not have to deal with the player's choices from the first 3 games(which has always been carry overs from game to game), and instead get to explore newer and fresher parts of thedas as opposed to the boring south we actually cared about.

It also killed off Varric Tethras, One of the most beloved video game characters of all time, all so it could have a boring "he was actually dead all along" twist.

And it ditched it's very dark but heroic fantasy story with hard, grey morality and tough choices, for the tone of a bland, boring, safe linear action story.

Also the series was once a relatively grounded if magical setting alike to Fullmetal alchemist or avatar, and it is now everyone might as well have superpowers, and everything is goofy.

Also, ALL the Lore and questions we ever had, short of wheter the Dragon Age God actually exists, was answered in the most boring, bland manner, with no sense of drama or stakes, and everything was spelled out.

And to top it all of, at the end, it's retconned that everything in the last 3 games were all set up by a secret evil cabal that controlled everything from the shadows, that were a very vague couple of factions from the previous, deep lore that has not been given any depth or exploration to such a point that either were particularily important, nor that they were one and the same(They seemed as far removed as humanly possible).

The game has been received about as well by Dragon Age's 14+ million fanbase as you could imagine, struggling to break even 1 million sales(it would need at least 4-5 million to break even much less make a profit).

Sorry to rant about this out of nowhere, im just glad you made the choice to NOT get involved with this franchise.

It's basically Attack on titan's ending all over again. The franchise's future is dead, all the mysteries were revealed in the stupidest ways, and nothing you did ever fucking mattered.

Huh. Well, I'm grateful you let me know about this, because it had not been on my radar at all, but I knew there was a lot of worry about this new entry given how coy the advertising was being about the actual content of the game. It's good to see how it all turns out, at least.

That said, I'm also not surprised. By now, Bioware surely can't be Bioware at all anymore, and while I bounced off KotOR pretty hard and never tried any of their other games, I know they had been a distinct brand with a built-in fanbase. EA can't just buy the name and keep people loyal while replacing the entire feel of the thing.

They should have waited for the original creators to fall from grace and ruin the feel of their own thing themselves, like Disney did with Star Wars after George Lucas already started devaluing it. XD

(Or maybe EA did? I know Mass Effect end in a way that killed off its fandom, but I don't know if the original Bioware made that one or if they were already a soulless puppet.)

But maybe EA will get lucky and some near-sighted grandmothers will buy this new DA as a Christmas present, thinking it's the new Baldur's Gate. I hear the kids really like that one.

Mar’i - Similar to Yours, I can see her transform into a cat based creature based on her heritage being descended from feline ancestors. In this particular maybe a Purple and green fur Tiger XD

Chris - Equally similar, I also see him transform into a Puppy Dog himself. Only in this case, it’s a Rottweiler instead, he can even have his hairdo while in puppy form

Jake - Here’s where it deviates from your answer. While it’s tempting to make him a cat as well, since he’s usually seen being more like his Dad in many ways, I think his animal beast form should reflect that. Therefore in the vein of Dick canonically, Jake becomes a blue fur Fox cub (Thoygh while I am digging the overall idea as it’s a nice subversion of day Dick turning into an owl or a bird….why a Fox? lol)

2) So far at most, I see Jake inadvertently brutalize some street thugs during the first weeks returning to patrol after the Zsasz incident. While he most definitely never meant to go far at all, his temper and emotional state were running over him quite a bit. It took a small family intervention from everyone he knows for him to actually get a grip of said emotions and request to Dick if Mrs Clancy had room further another client like him

3) Mainly I see that only happening during the first few months together as a team when during a major crisis in Bludhaven which affected the Academy and Jake had to sneak away to switch into his hero identity, and one of the students in his class noticed him being gone and last seen running towards what looked like a corner of the backyard (of the Academy). But when the other students checked, he was already gone and Skybird had entered the scene

Chris on the other hand, was able to sneak off much more effectively from his class via being excused to use the bathroom. He took longer than expected so his teacher went to check and he made it to the bathroom door with the borrowed key in tow just as she was about to knock

4) Mainly I can see something of a BBQ at Titans Tower which has not just the Duo and their respective families and the Titans but the Batfamily and even some other Justice Leaguers as well. Naturally of course, the easter egg hunt is a massive one as befitting a lot of its participants having superpowers and all throughout the Tower. Chris got second place in the most eggs collected while Mar’i and Jake were tied for third. The one with the most Eggs ended up being Jon, by one egg over Chris

So, the Cleaning Crew AU prompt was inspired by the game Viscera Clean-up but also by the many requests in the interest poll that asked for various occupations, like a hired cleaning person. But it doesn't have to be literal trash that needs to be cleaned up – remember Men in Black and how they dealt with civilian witnesses to anything supernatural? Yeah. XD (The team cleaned up the evidence and then wiped everyone's recent memories.)

Behind the Mirror is one of those prompts that I hoped would spark all kinds of ideas. There are stories like Coralline, where people travel to different worlds, and there are is that Doctor Who episode where someone was literally trapped in a mirror as a punishment, and in The Sandman comic universe, if you gaze into a mirror, you might look into the eyes of Despair herself. Mirrors are... strange. Exploit the strangeness!

What is more than horror? An eldritch horror! Why have murderers when you can have ancient creatures that had slept for millions of years only to wake up now, powerful and ready for a snack in the form of your whole planet? Or something smaller yet even more terrifying – something that spreads around the world but cannot be seen by eye because it travels through and infects the minds of people. Something too great to comprehend that drives anyone who attempts it mad. Channel your inner Lovecraft (or just write very horror-esque monster smut like me)!

Dark AU is a common tag on AO3 that sums up all those AUs where the world or the heroes are just a dark version of themselves. No more Avengers protecting the Earth from alien invasions – now they are a gang of beings with superpowers who exploit humanity's fears and threaten to destroy the world if they don't get what they want. Your sweet cinnamon roll character? Now he's a toxic asshole. Utopic future society? Peace comes at a great cost.

OKAY SO I gotta admit, One Piece (the anime/manga) has always been a thing that I've like, tangentially engaged with but never actually read/watched or followed the story in any substantial capacity, especially given it's so LONG XD That being said, it has had my intrigue for a loooooooong time so I'm consulting you as something of an Expert to ask, how much would you recommend it? (I've been dodging my inevitable fate as a Sanji girlie for so long :P)

I love that I have the title of One Piece Expert haha. XD

I would definitely say that One Piece was a very formative piece of media for me. My early pre-tumblr deviantArt days were very One Piece-heavy and I'm still friends with people I met thru One Piece (hey @muffintonic!!). Usopp remains one of my favourite characters from anything ever.

That being said, it's been years since I've actually been up to date with the anime or manga. (Tho I have been casually following the plot through some OP mutuals I still have... I keep telling myself that someday I'm gonna catch up on OP again lol...) And like, there are some issues I have with it - it's a manga from the 90s, it's inevitably going to fall into some unfortunate tropes, and I also generally preferred the pre-timeskip arcs to the post-timeskip ones.

BUT One Piece still has such a special place in my heart and I think it's worth it despite some flaws. It's funny and silly and weird but it will also break your heart sometimes, which is what the best stories do. It's about found family! It's about being anti-establishment! It's about following the people you love into the depths of hell and about reminding people who have been cast aside by society that they deserve to live with dignity and respect! It's about pirates and adventure and people having the weirdest fucking superpowers you could possibly come up with. It's great.

It's long as hell but that just means that you'll never run out of content. (There are movies and filler episodes and like. Everything you could ever want from this franchise tbh.) I haven't watched the new live action show yet so I can't say if that's a good place to start or not, but my advice would just be to find the first chapter or the first episode, whichever you prefer (the anime is pretty faithful to the manga so you're not missing much either way, the anime just has more filler stuff, some of which is really good!) and just give it a try, see if you like it!

And if you do, you should absolutely tell me what you think! :D I'm an Usopp girlie but Sanji is great too (and SanUso is a popular ship for a reason haha) and I'd love to hear your thoughts! And also maybe that'll inspire me to finally get caught up again. I've heard good things about the recent arcs!

Hmm that's hard to answer! I have always been a voracious reader, so it's hard to pinpoint major stylistic influences. I absolutely devoured everything by Robin McKinley (and she remains one of my favorite authors ever) from a young age, so I think a lot of my ideas about what narrative should be come from her. I also read a variety of poetry, so rhythm is something I edit for when I'm working on a project. And translating lots of Latin---I think I have funny ideas about sentence structure because of Ovid especially c:

One thing I will say (and I am not specifically recommending the series, because these books are really not for everyone) is that the way I write close third person was heavily influenced by the Downside Ghosts series.

It's set in a ghost post-apocalypse. The protagonist is a witch, one of the few capable of investigating and dispelling ghosts. She is also a drug addict and her love interest is the enforcer for her dealer, for whom she (illegally and secretly) investigates ghost things on the side. Chess, the MC, struggles so much with who she is and it is so vivid and compelling that I was shocked to realize the whole series wasn't in first person. There is also a whole dialect of English spoken by the people in her neighborhood that was so interesting to me (anthropology degree rears its head lol). I don't think it's a style I necessarily echo, but the series really altered my perspective of writing in third person---and I think I can do a lot more with it than I used to be able to specifically because of these books. I went in skeptical that I'd like them, but I think I read all five in two days.

As for recommendations...

Lately, I've been reading a lot of urban fantasy, so Seanan McGuire (I recommend really anything by her, but my favorites are the October Daye series). She has this really, really beautiful way of winding plot elements throughout the story so that when they come to a head/find resolution, the reader gets this gorgeous moment of aha! of course! that still feels very earned. Everything cycles in her writing in a way that I cannot praise enough; the beginning is the end is the beginning again, and I love anything where the story is also a little bit about story itself. If that makes sense!

I also enjoy Ilona Andrews (especially the Kate Daniels series, but the Hidden Legacy series is also great--ignore the covers). They do a great job with action sequences, which wind up feeling neither too long (I am...not partial to fight scenes in books) nor gratuitous. The worldbuilding is also really consistent and thoroughly researched, which I value highly.

Again, Robin McKinley, who has a way of layering story in such a beautiful way. I just love how her writing is structured. It might be a little slow for some people, but her books are very much about the journey over the destination and that's what I love about them. Juliet Marillier is another author I love for the same reason.

The Rook by Daniel O'Malley. (I know, I know, my thing with memory loss...) It's about a chief administrator for a secret society of magical/superpowered people. She wakes up in the rain having no memory of who or where she is and discovers letters from herself in her pockets. Past Her knew that she was going to lose her memory and prepared all these materials to help her adjust or disappear. The book switches between letters from Past Her and the life of Current Her as she tries to solve the mystery of who took her memory. I really enjoy the style of it because it switches between formats, and I think the tension between these two versions of her who will never meet is unique and compelling.

These latest chapters have been pure brilliance. Azula stealing Rei was also really funny. Azula should someday invent the Avatar world's version of Child Protective Services, I know its not quite the same thing here, but near enough. X'D glad you've enjoyed the chaos! While Part 3 starts out in such a heavy way, I feel like it hits its stride pretty quickly (probably because I really didn't want to drag out the hopeless misery any longer than necessary...). Rei provided a wonderful change of pace in Azula's story, the impact she's had on Azula is always lots of fun to write, and the development of that bond never fails to make me happy. I went out of my way to make a meme about it, some time ago...

Azula creating a Child Protective Services system sounds like something no one in the world would imagine Azula would do, not even Azula herself... and yet it sounds like a legitimate possibility as things stand x'D

As for your question... favorite OCs? Ooh boy...

Well, I think Rei would be #1 right now. She's just gold without even knowing it. I don't know how she won over my heart as fast as she did, but she just did. That's her secret superpower, I suspect. She's a really good remedy for all the hardships we've been dealing with, and giving Azula another unique bond with a character is always great <3

Xin Long is probably #2, though writing him as of late makes my heart hurt for obvious reasons... but he was always crazy fun to write. Writing his draconic monologues cracked me up every time, he's wonderfully chaotic and straightforward, writing this dork was always gratifying.

Might be sad that he'd be so low, but our #3 is Rui Shi... oh, Rui Shi. Don't we all miss our good man Rui Shi. *wipes tear*

I'll bestow #4 to Kino and I hope he takes the spot with pride, he's really fun to write too. It can be tricky sometimes to choose what to do with him, I really don't want Kino to feel redundant, or too comic relief, but we'll give him more chances to shine in the future for sure. He's great at easing up many heavy atmospheres, gotta love our reckless Fire Nation army deserter for that.

... I'm gonna go on an impulsive one right now and give an answer that might sound really weird right now to close up my top 5: my #5 is Anorak. Yep. That's who. Why? I think it will become clear relatively soon... though not too soon. To be 100% honest, I didn't even think I'd care about this character remotely as much as I've grown to... but a plot twist I devised for him recently has changed things, big time. As for runner-ups... I feel bad for leaving him out of a top 5, but Renkai probably would have been right after Anorak, at least! The Priestess of the Flames is also an important one to mention because, as much as she's not a character we've seen often... she's basically one of my old OCs from my original stories, repurposed for Gladiator xD so I have a soft spot for her too and always enjoy writing her. I also reeeeally love Mei Xun, she's a very interesting character to work with. Naturally, all of Azula's guards deserve credit here, they're such a loveable group even though I didn't really set out with the intent of making them loveable x'D Seethus is also quite interesting to write, but unfortunately Ozai isn't giving him enough material to work with lately. More things to begrudge him for, I guess (?)

Ok so. Context: I was doing OJT or practicum where I, along with my group of student teachers, had to do a demo discussion with the students. The thing is, out topic was mythologies. And Kalpas (crying screaming this man istg) is essentially a walking representation of some myths.

One of the myths we discussed was Prometheus, and although it may seem that Kalpas does not have a connection with this titan aside from their shared association with fire-

Prometheus was the one to teach the people to create and 'wield' fire. This is slightly similar to how Kalpas was one of the pioneers (aka: Flame Chasers) of the Previous Era. Kalpas may not have given the people fire, but he gave them a chance to survive against the Honkai.

Another mythological figure I thought to have a connection was Cu Chulainn of Celtic Myths. He was known to have riastrad, otherwise known as warp spasms, wherein he would go on a rampage, fighting friends and foes alike. Seems familiar 👀

Those are two I somehow connected with Kalpas today haha 😅

3: How easy to annoy is your oc? Do they have common pet-peeves or are they stoic in response to everything? What is their reaction if the source doesn’t stop?

Nita - She's patient to a fault -- to her own detriment. Really really. She'll let you annoy her long after it's pushed her to her breaking point. You'll see some of this at play in Dethkomic very soon. Nita's got a problem with boundaries, but slowly and surely, she works it out. Unfortunately until she does... she's likely to just let it keep going even after other people are beginning to find it obnoxious.

Caj - Also has a lot of patience, but she'll let you know when you're getting on her nerves. The only thing that really truly bothers her (except Skwisgaar) is inaction when action is clearly warranted. Caj is the wind element of the bunch. If she's not moving, she dies. Or, moreover, she takes matters into her own hands.

16 (Caj): If your oc could only eat one thing for the rest of their life (while miraculously not suffering from malnutrition), what would it be? Does this match their favourite food?

Caj is on record as saying chocolate is the only addiction she hasn't been to rehab for. On tour, she is well-known for hitting up restaurants and asking for the dessert list up front -- proceeding to order the most decandent chocolate *whatever* on the menu. There are some exceptions (she doesn't consider American chocolate to be real food) but her sweet tooth is as legendary as her music.

20: Does your oc have any pleasure that embarrasses them so they keep it secret? Or are they open about all the things they enjoy?

Caj - Probably knows more about the characters and worlds that inhabit her kids' favorite shows and books than they do. Following the timeline of when my stories *actually* happened, Caj would probably be a brony. If they'd happened today, she'd unironically enjoy Bluey and Blippi. I'm not sure how out she'd be about these things, but I'm sure she'd correct other parents when they confused Pinkie Pie for Rainbow Dash.

Cherry - She's pretty hedonistic and sees no shame in enjoying all that life has to offer and doing it out loud. Her "guilty pleasures" are many for this reason. Cherry's got a not-so-secret love for sappy romcoms, loves to overdo it on makeup snd wildly out-of-vogue hairstyles any chance she gets, and has a thing for pink flamingo lawn ornaments and similarly themed items.

34 (Nita): What would someone blackmail your oc with? Would they be successful in getting what they wanted?

That's a tough one. What they'd blackmail her with isn't as hard a question -- probably a loved one. But God help those bad guys if the one they took hostage was her dad. They'd give him back.

How successful they'd be is what has me stuck. Nita's quick to please, and if it was someone she loved dearly, there's no question she'd do anything in order to save them. However, one of Nita's innate abilities is this persuasive nature she seems to have over others that come in contact with her. She's a spirit of harmony and getting along (and yeah, here again, I'm kinda hinting at superpowers). Maybe all it'd take for the antagonist to drop the ball is hanging around her for a few minutes? I mean... can you blame them? Who'd want to hurt this chick? LOL

29 (Cherry): If your oc was in a video game, what would their idle animation be? (When the player stays still for too long, the animation that plays.)

I actually almost did this when I found a plugin that would allow me to put idle animations on characters in Harmonic Odyssey (but, feature creep, yanno...) -- would absolutely have her roll a joint and smoke it until the player picked their controller back up again.

23 (Cherry): What is the most annoying sound to your oc? What’s the most pleasant? Is there any reason?

I LOVE it when I have to re-read my own character sheets to figure stuff like this out. Annoying is a very good question because she "analyzes" sound in a way that would confuse and confound most people who don't specifically have her sort of sensitivities. She is always looking for patterns and notes in things, even when there aren't any to be found. If none exist, she will likely shrug it off until there's too much of nothing to be found. I imagine she's cool with a consistent white noise, but only to a point. Having an alarm or something that should have a regular "beat" go off without keeping a consistent time pattern might be her kryptonite.

Pleasant sounds? Let's talk about the sound of water pipes... for several reasons that should be obvious by now. :)

"I love animals in general, as they're so precious! Though, my favorite animal is a red fox. They're very noisy, and cheeky and playful XD besides that, I'm a huge cat person lol and I currently own two cats!

"Man, you're gonna think this is either crazy, or awesome. I've got a few favorites, but they're kinda niche. The Kirin, the Nuckelavee, the Ningens, Wendigos, the fae, and of course, Paddler who lives in Lake Pend Oreille (Pronounced Pond or lay. Yeah, i know its pronounced really weird, pretty sure its French). If you don't know who Paddler is, he's basically like another loch ness monster, who lives in a different place. You might wanna look some of these creatures up if you're curious, but be warned, some of them are pretty scary in appearance. Then, if I absolutely had to give a basic answer, is a faerie dragon allowed? They're so precious!!"

Would you want to be someone else instead of yourself?

"If you asked me that a year ago, I would have said yes. Though, right now, I'm quite content with being myself ^^"

"That is something I used to wonder a lot about when I was younger, but as I grew not as much. I think, life just makes more sense to me now. In a way I suppose."

Sorry if it took a long time to get this my friend @pin-crusher2000 but after much looking over and consideration, here shall be my answers ;-)

1) Oh too easy; either ancient Kryptonian and Tamaranean warriors from their history, fighting against their numerous enemies whether it be the Gordanians played by their plushies or even each other as a fair duel, so basically Space warriors OR As a Royal Prince and his Bodyguard Knight against demons and enemy knights like in a fantasy world akin to D&D

2) Chris = Han Solo

Jake = Greedo

and yes Han Blasts Greedo First

3) Okay So, the Kents and Graysons would find themselves waking up in a corrupted and twisted version of Bludhaven, swarming with hordes of the red eyed Undead, hellhounds, Demoniac Bats, and even Three Headed Canines (functionally the latter two are akin to the Parasites and Margwas). They have their superpowers albeit severely dampened and diminished to which they can only take down at most the zombies at the same time before they need to strike again.

The basic story is that before being sent here, the four were tipped on what was a summoning ritual by some cultists who were trying to summon Trigon, likely led by Brother Blood and while they prevent Trigon himself from coming out, the spell was corrupted and activated anyways so now it’s up to our heroes to gathered enough of their strength and find the source of these demonic Zombies in order to escape this Hell. Guiding them though would be one young voice; a girl who sounds no older than Mar’i but intelligent and willing to help them as they traverse this hellish city in exchange for also helping her, wherever she may be. This ancient evil beyond their imagination summoned by those cultists and their sins was invited and she concludes there’s far more to them than this…how their very world maybe even their multiverse itself is now in danger and they can stop it with her…..her name is Samantha, she’s going to tell them how all of this really began.

While not exactly Wonder Weapons in the traditionally sense, the Mystery Box would grant our heroes gauntlets, capes, headbands like what Chris and Mar’i wear and other accessories which do grant them enhanced powers that function like them. One gauntlet Jake can equip on his gloves can cause a chain reaction electric shock to the Zombies he punches a la the Wunderwaffe DG2. The map itself while a sprawling city with a central hub in the City Square with branching areas including the Dockyards, Downtown, the Suburbs, Bludhaven Stadium and the Pack A Punch location being Titans Tower, has numerous Kino/Der Riese style walkways, barriers and corridors allowing players to vary their play styles whether it be camping, training or going with the flow.

So yeah basically a combination of Mob of the Dead, Shadows of Evil and Maur der Toten with a tiny pinch of Origins

4) Mar’i; she trounces all of the boys without any fail but doesn’t cheat. Her secret is to always get rid of her cards that have the lowest number first
