For Elastic Heart, where I have gotten (FROTHING at the MOUTH to finish), Sky keeps using his blessing of power to push forwards. He is being kinda silly though. Kinda. Wars and Time have put it perfectly. Reckless. Which power can actually lead to. Recklessness.

When you have the ABILITY to push forwards... sometimes you just Do. I will have to agree that Sky will need power to overcome the trials ahead of him. To overcome what he holds against himself. To overcome himself. (and maybe LEARN some Wisdom to know when to ask for help)

Honestly? I already found s&a Sky's place in the Angstforce of Courage. I mean, he's currently sorta running from everything? In reference to the chain at least. Even if he doesn't quite realize it...

He's also running towards something. Something that He FEELS is Attainable. To leave everything and everyone you love behind and push forward despite the absolute fear of having lost everything is Courage. Courage isn't the lack of fear.

Courage is moving in spite of it.

very true, i am so glad you mentioned this!!! love how these are three fics where (from what i've seen at least) the balance of those three values are (or nearly are) upset, and everything does get plunged into chaos. Sky literally had to forge himself with power, wisdom, and courage, and so naturally the Hero's Spirit has all three, but under the intense strain of the curse, Sky does fall. For Martyr, it's his attempt. For Elastic Heart, it's straight-up leaving. All three fics have to do with Sky literally self-destructing because he is unbalanced, and he needs help to fix it.

oh no now you've got me lol. Help is also a big thing. Every Link has always needed help to reach their ultimate goal (and, often, the chance to use the triforce) and these fics are no different. No matter how amazing Sky is, he still needs help from others, even when he doesn't want it. Especially when he doesn't want it. His balance comes from his own strength, but his strength often comes from the people around him. Groose, Zelda, Fi, Impa...doesn't matter who, but the Hero's Spirit cares, which is probably the most static aspect between every incarnation but VERY prevalent in Sky

ANYway. I just think it's so cool that if we really want to boil these three fics down to their elements, you can read them as being about Sky's internal balance w/ the aspects of the Triforce after being placed under direct stress meant to make him tear himself apart and how the Links, being so important to him, can help fix it/shoulder the weight of the curse/keep him afloat and i just fsndkjshkjdsvn
