prowlerbyte hcs
ok..... yall got me. you did. i ship prowlerbyte now 😅 and i'd like to throw out some Thoughts about them bc damnit if this ship doesn't have some Flavor to it that i'd like to share with you all 🤌
both margo and miles g here are from earth 42 tho bc i think miles g has been thru Enough and he deserves someone in his corner in his own universe, besides his family members
LOTS of words under the cut ↓
♡ weirdgirl nerd x edgyboy nerd 100%… you just KNOW IT. miles is absolutely a geek either for comics or anime and he only opens up to his closest friends to let them see that side of him, no one else. margo brings that side out of him often when they meet up (but miles is still p reserved if anyone else is with them)
♡ margo is a fantastic singer and hums mind-blowing runs as easily as she breathes and miles absolutely loves it. when she's depressed, she sings a lot less so whenever she DOES sing that's how he knows she's in a good mood. he loves having her over bc he gets to pull out uncle aaron's old secondhand record player and place rnb and 90's hiphop vinyls on it, playing soulful music that she hums to as they parallel-play or do homework together
♡ when margo first convinced miles to let her do his hair, he was hella worried that his mom would disapprove and chastise him once she saw but she was surprisingly very supportive of it, although a bit hesitant. eventually she was grateful she didnt have to braid her son's hair as often (being a single parent is exhausting enough lol)
♡ rio42 ofc had the same reaction to margo as rio1610 when she 1st met gwen, but when margo eventually started showing up more and more to hang out with the morales fam (and aaron too lol), she grew on rio. they both keep a close eye on miles and try to keep him going towards the right path
♡ in their universe they both go to visions and even have a class together, and they are both very very academically competitive. rio doesn't need to stay on miles' ass about his grades bc margo is right there taunting him with an A+ on a test every single time
♡ they actually ACTUALLY study together in the library or in miles' room during study sessions. neither of them can afford to fall off wrt their grades and they both have big dreams they wanna achieve: margo wants to become a hardlight technician and apply for oscorp (much to miles' chagrin), and miles wants to continue his engineering and robotics career so he can provide for his whole family
♡ margo's parents constantly fighting means she is often over at miles' house more than he is at hers. it actually took her an embarrassingly long amount of time to finally invite him over because she never wanted her parents to know he even existed, let alone actually meet him at all. miles was at first kinda offended she didn't want him to meet her parents even after they got together but when he heard them arguing in the background during a call one day, he finally Understood
♡ after he found out about her crappy home life (and also secretly told rio), she was welcome to stay more often at his place. she has a blanket, a few clothes and several diff books and console games lying around in his room
♡ it honestly also took them both a ridiculously long time to finally start dating. everyone around them shipped them but they remained friends for a long time bc miles was just too closed off and scared to let anyone into his private life like that. also i hc they are both on the ace spectrum but don't realize it until later (listen i see purple characters and i HAVE to wave the ace wand on them ok 😭)
♡ margo is sometimes frustrated at miles for being so secretive and hiding his emotions behind walls, as goofy and dorky as he can be. she wishes he would just come out and be more honest about his feelings but understands that after his dad's passing, its harder for him to communicate his emotions
♡ she was the one who asked him out first, actually. he was beating around the bush way too much and so she finally put her foot down and initiated the relationship
♡ in public or with strangers they are: sunshine x sunshine protector. in private or with family n friends they are: "EXCUSE ME! miles asked for no pickles ☝️" esp since margo is the extrovert and he's the introvert.
♡ miles is actually p jealous and protective of margo and she finds that hilarious.
"i don't need any protecting, babe. i am a certified badass," margo says, flipping her box braids.
miles laughs, winding boxing wraps around his hands and standing in front of his giant punching bag. he looks over at his girlfriend sitting on a bean bag, with her adorable kitten t-shirt and fluffy sweater and grins even wider. "yeah… aight, sure thing."
margo scoffs, noticing his line of sight and looking very offended. "i may look cute and unassuming but that's exactly what i want our enemies to think! it gives me an advantage!"
miles hums, nodding. "mhm. advantage to do what, exactly?"
margo throws an empty soda can at him, which miles easily dodges as he laughs harder.
♡ it's funny, bc on the outside they seem like the stereotypical traditional straight relationship with a macho boy and sweetheart girl. but in reality they're both sarcastic snippy geeks who can both throw down in any verbal argument. and miles adores his gf, he's completely whipped for her. lets her paint his nails and everything, and if anyone tries to make fun of him for it, he doubles down and threatens to fight them over it
♡ they are THAT couple that wears lowkey matching outfits every once in a while. they actually enjoy shopping together which was a relief for both of them bc miles LIVES just to go sneaker shopping and margo absolutely loves trying new things on in the dressing room. theyre also both fashionistas in their own ways and love to accessorize. they swap accessories a lot
♡ whenever they hit up a bookstore, they are the first to head right on over to the manga section. right afterwards, they make a beeline over to the science fiction section and compare their purchases together after leaving
♡ miles is absolutely the "idc what my girl wears bc i know how to fight" boyfriend. margo doesn't go out in revealing outfits or anything, but looking a little TOO adorable in a dystopian city can sometimes paint a target on your back and so miles makes sure she's with him at all times if she wants to put her braids up into heart buns or wear a dress outside
♡ any hardware or mechanical problem that margo has, she takes it straight to miles. miles takes any software or coding issues he has to margo. if those software issues have anything to do with his prowler gear, however… he tries to isolate the issue and explain in vague terms what the problem is to avoid telling his gf he's actually the prowler
♡ no, he has not revealed to margo that he is the prowler yet. he's terrified to see her face when she inevitably finds out anyways, just KNOWING it would doom their relationship to a breakup if she ever figured it out. he does everything in his power to keep her from finding out his secret, even if it means disappointing her when he misses out on dates they set together
♡ they are both total champions at whatever multiplayer video game they get hooked onto. their personal faves are mmorpgs and battle royale games, but they are UNBELIEVABLY competitive when it comes to party games and even board games. they absolutely wipe the floor if they get to team up together
♡ tbqh they're the EXACT level of nerdy that they would consider playing video games in their separate homes as a date. "mmorpg and chill babe?" miles texts margo sometimes as a joking way to ask her on an online date. every minute they spend on voicechat as they kick digital ass together counts as quality time for sure
♡ even tho she's kind of embarrassed about it, margo has an absolutely huge plushie and figurine collection. she was worried miles would judge her SUPER HARD for her lowkey (highkey) special interest in anime figures when he 1st came over to her room, but immediately felt relieved when miles practically flew up to a rare figure she got secondhand from a japanese seller online and started ooohing and aaahing about it
♡ he actually tries to put aside whatever he earns prowling around the city for his mom first. then whatever's left over goes right to margo. he likes taking her out shopping and letting her pick out two or three things and seeing her beam like a sunrise before giving him a kiss on the cheek
♡ miles tries to hide his prowling behind the excuse of getting a job with his uncle at the family auto shop. every time he has a job to do or needs to leave suddenly, he blames it on "an emergency/new car job at the garage". margo eventually starts hating the word "garage"
♡ get either of these 2 to start talking abt their special interest, and it will be like Infodump City in there in 2 secs flat. they listen to each other's infodumping with hearts in their eyes, ESPECIALLY miles. margo goes "hey can i just rant to you about my new interest rq" and he goes "yes ma'am 🥰"
♡ everyone thinks margo is the one who cooks and cleans but hell no. miles is a neat freak whose room is the total opposite of margo's and he spends a lot of time alone at home when his mom is working a double shift and his uncle is out trying to secure another job for them. he knows how to cook like a damn chef by the time he's 16 (and also rio42 is not a toxic boymom. she will not raise any lazy needy son, her boy WILL know how to do laundry, cook meals and wash the damn dishes!)
♡ margo on the other hand tries to avoid the kitchen as often as possible and gets panic attacks when having to clean anywhere else but her own room bc of bad memories of having to sweep up broken glass after hearing her parents have violent fights that left the apartment in tatters. she never got to learn how to cook bc they never taught her, either
♡ margo is actually p traumatized from her parents' constant hateful fighting that she tries to squash down or hide behind a confident mask. but sometimes it pops up in ugly ways like when miles accidentally slams a cupboard door too loudly or a sarcastic comment sounds a little too bitter. her knee-jerk reaction is to always distance herself from miles a bit as a coping mechanism, which they had to work through
♡ miles' own grief and loss traumatized him beyond belief too ofc. after his dad's passing, his anxiety grows and he becomes more withdrawn, easily tired, and forgetful. it becomes worse after he becomes the prowler, bc dipping into the NYC underworld every so often gives p much anyone a healthy dose of paranoia. plus it takes some time away from his gf on top of all of that.
♡ if they're ever at parties or get-togethers at all, its always margo initiating conversations and meeting with people, making introductions and chatting happily. she always happens to have a quiet, chill miles-shaped shadow with her the whole time
♡ if margo was going to date miles, he told her one time, she was GOING to learn how to dance bachata and salsa. throw in a lil reggaeton in there as they get older and rio becomes a TINY bit more chill with seeing them on the dancefloor. they actually become much better at dancing together as they practice at family reunions and birthday parties
♡ miles carries around plush keychains and other trinkets that remind him of margo. he's a total sap when it comes to her, even if he tries to hide just how much he loves her sometimes. his phone's lockscreen is something dark or aesthetic like a city skyline or whatever but then when he unlocks it, margo is always his wallpaper
♡ aaron likes margo, he really does. he worries that miles doesn't have enough friends but he's happy that his nephew has a gf that is genuinely good for him. they all have a great time together whenever they do get downtime to chill together, like playing cards or helping aaron clean the garage
♡ that being said, aaron loves to pretend to sabotage their relationship as a running joke and watch miles get all riled up about it. it is hilarious to him, never gets old.
they're giving the garage connected to the autoshop its bimonthly deep clean just ahead of the yearly inspection.
it's a sunday, the only day of the week that the shop is closed for business and miles is on corner duty once they get down to the concrete floor. he's tasked with using the short hard brush attached to a long wooden handle to scrub the dust and grime out of the neglected corners. margo is scrubbing the middle with a much bigger sturdier widebroom, and aaron--being the tallest ofc-- has the duster on an extendable handle, swiping through the metal rafters and high shelves.
he notices miles struggling a bit with a mysterious stain in one corner, repeatedly attacking it before finally crouching down to shove the brush even harder against the floor with his hands.
aaron casually sneaks backwards and catches margo's attention with a smirk and a point of his chin. she swings her gaze around to her slightly frustrated boyfriend crouched down into a corner and starts giggling.
aaron grins as he suddenly says, "so yeah, thats why i got miles here on corner duty, usually. y'know being a little guy and all, he can do all that that someone as tall as me can't really do anymore yanno what i'm sayin? he's real good in those small spaces. that's why i'm up here, dustin' these rafters."
scandalized, miles springs back up with a "hey!!" and a withering glare shot their way. margo bursts out laughing.
♡ miles is the little spoon and margo is the big spoon, fight me abt it. his fave cuddling position is actually when his arms are wrapped around her and her cheek is laid against his head. otherwise, he loves his weighted blanket, and margo loves her warm mattress ♡ when they're home alone and on the couch watching movies, his back is usually to her side as he half-lays on her, using her arm as a pillow
♡ margo is def not a sports kind of girl but she tries for her bf. he and aaron are very much into basketball which she tries to keep up with just to join in on their convos. she always attends miles' boxing matches tho, ofc. she actually likes watching boxing matches in general! aaron gives her some old tapes of his own matches when he was younger and that's how margo gets into televised mma fights and ufc. she's always cheering for miles the loudest in the audience
♡ miles actually uses margo sometimes in his workouts. the proudest day of his life was when he was able to have margo laying on his back as he did pushups, and he made it to 10 before tiring himself out. she's the one holding his feet down as he does sit-ups and ab crunches. she tries to join in on his workouts too, and gets p good with the speedbag relatively quickly!
♡ miles-- being the paranoid guy he is-- happens to be the one to teach margo all of the effective self-defense moves. she thinks he's always exaggerating the danger out on the streets but she can't lie sometimes; whenever she's out past sunset with her keys in between her knuckles, she's just a TINY bit glad that miles taught her how to escape a rear chokehold
♡ margo is the soc media girl who is embarassingly online and posts about anything and everything of her life. new website coded? met a stray cat on her way over to miles'? bought a new manga? invented a cool gadget? they always show up in her followers soc media feed. she tries to get miles to pose for pics with her but he's mostly content to just be the guy behind the camera tbh. his own soc media account is pretty boring and bare since he rarely ever posts. he's got other things on his mind, errands to run
♡ the one and only time margo has ever seen miles cry was right after his dad died. the whole neighborhood got the news and she ran straight over to miles' apartment the minute she could. they climbed into his bed (the only time rio didn't reprimand them for it) and he just sobbed his heart out while they held each other for a real long time. she brought over homework and notes when he stayed home from school to recuperate
#spiderverse#earth 42 prowler#spider byte#earth 42#prowlerbyte#margo kess#miles g morales#i hope yall can see my vision#now ofc these two havent met at all in the movie yet#but can you imagine like a lil scene where spiderbyte somehow meets up with miles42#and she goes “miles! i recoded the machine so you can go back home to your CORRECT dimension#if you ever wanna come back to spider society?“#and then shes like “…wait. what happened to your hair? i like it but… wait what're you wearing?”#and then miles42 is looking at her like O_O bc his Girlfriend But Not Girlfriend is just zipping around asking him all these questions#and… is she a HOLOGRAM?#miles1610 steps in and steers miles42 away going “uh thanks but yeah he's me from another dimension ahaha anyWAYS lets go over here bro”#and miles42 just goes “MY GIRLFRIEND IS SPIDERWOMAN IN ANOTHER DIMENSION?!?!”#god that would be amazing#i want them to have even just ONE second of an interaction in btsv mannnnn#they r So Cute what?? like#also yes they are both ace bc they are Purple. the girls that get it get it#im thinkin maybe miles42 is like... sex neutral ace and margo is demisexual. theyre both biromantic bc of course#anyways hope yall enjoyed these ^^✌️#mi writing

Gwen Stacy: The Amazing Spider-Man Duology
Good morning, esteemed faculty and families of my fellow graduates. It’s an honor to be standing up here today. I know we all think that we’re immortal. We’re supposed to feel that way, we’re graduating. But, like our brief four years in high school, what makes life valuable is that it doesn’t last forever. What makes it precious is that it ends. I know that now more than ever. And I say it, today of all days, to remind us that time is luck. So don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Make yours count for something. Fight for what matters to you, no matter what. Because even if we fall short, what better way is there to live?
It’s easy to feel hopeful on a beautiful day like today. But there will be dark days ahead of us too. There will be days where you feel all alone. And that’s when hope is needed most. No matter how buried it gets, or how lost you feel, you must promise me that you will hold onto hope. Keep it alive. We have to be greater than what we suffer. My wish for you is to become hope. People need that. And even if we fail, what better way is there to live? As we look around here today, at all of the people who helped make us who we are, I know it feels like we’re saying goodbye. But we will carry a piece of each other into everything that we do next, to remind us of who we are, and of who we’re meant to be. I’ve had a great four years with you. I’ll miss you all very much.

in a moment you and i
kim minji x fem!reader ; angst, fluff
synopsis: minji has two side hustles, one of them is swinging around the city and saving people and the other is admiring you from afar. little does she know, you’re also admiring her -- not that you're aware of it.
warnings: minji is spiderwoman!! and really just a nerd under that suit ; a very pretty, oblivious, adorable nerd ; blood and violence ; pining, slowburn kinda ; ending is a lil rushed and pacing is wack imo (sooory) ; wtv else i didn’t mention
a/n: i think its funny how she's mj (minji) but spiderwoman in this anyways I kekeke lmao lol ijbol thinking ab her in those fuckass (adorable beautiful amazing lovely cute) black frames,,,
kim minji might just be one of the smartest students in her class — she’s also the sleepiest one these days.
she is two seconds away from falling asleep in class because some people can’t seem to go a second without breaking the law, and the only web-slinging person who can stop them is her.
why would anyone break into ador labs at two in the morning on a weekday? because of this, minji had to spring out of bed in the dead of night, battling a gang of thieves for nearly two exhausting hours. by the time she had webbed them to the wall, called the police, and swung back home, she only had three hours before she had to be up again.
she even got pestered by hanni for taking so long while she waited outside the house. the younger girl had to wait a few extra minutes because minji had woken up late, it’s not like she wanted to lose a few hours of sleep. when she explained to hanni why she had applied concealer on the walk to school (hanni had been the first to know about everything going on with her and why her hands were sticking to everything the day after her little spider incident), the younger girl nodded and relented.
minji’s eyelids grow heavier with each blink, and soon enough they don’t open again as she falls asleep on her palm. minji’s already caught up with this unit, it won’t hurt to sleep a bit anyway – just a few minutes.
a few minutes fades into twenty and her head falls to her forearm in the middle of her nap.
“right, that wraps up class for today everyone. chapter thirteen is your homework, we’ll have a small quiz next class on it.” mr. lee says right as the bell rings. he looks over to minji, sighing as everyone starts to pack their bags. “and someone please wake up minji.”
no one seems to hear him, no one but you.
you catch minji near the window in the second row from the front. her hair falls over her face and only her nose pokes out, but you can see a little bit of her eye from where you’re standing. the empty seat hints that danielle isn’t here today, usually she’d be the one to wake minji up.
“hey, i’ll catch up with you later, okay?” you say to jungwon, who smiles and nods before rushing out the class.
mr. lee doesn’t seem to notice minji, too absorbed in something on his laptop and the papers scattered across his desk. you walk over and tap her once—no response. you try again, with the same result. finally, you lightly grip her shoulder and give her a gentle shake to wake her up.
"huh, what? danielle?" minji mumbles, sitting up and blinking slowly. she turns over, eyes still closed, and fixes her hair. when she finally opens her eyes again, she’s surprised to see you. her eyes widen slightly, and she feels a surge of nervousness. "oh, y/n."
“morning!” you grin, then point to the papers and folder on her desk. “you need help with those? the bell just rang.”
“did it?”
“yeah, a minute ago.”
minji sighs, fixing the black glasses she has on her face. you look at her, still, with a smile on your face and raised brows.
“i don’t need help, you should get to class.”
“you sure? please, i insist.”
“i–” minji wonders if she’s still dreaming, the l/n y/n is offering her help and smiling at her – kim minji.
ever since you two were first paired for a small project in eighth-grade science, she’s always felt giddy near you. in minji’s mind, you’re some angel from heaven. she has you on an imaginary pedestal that towers above the tallest buildings in the city. you’re on the tennis team, you volunteer, you’re smart, you’re in student government, and you’re so gorgeous that minji can’t think straight around you.
unfortunately for her, half the school feels the same way, making you an unattainable fantasy. still, minji admires you from afar, blushing at the mere mention of your name and gushing about you to her friends, who never miss an opportunity to tease her about her obvious crush.
“um, yeah, thanks.” minji mutters, gulping as you begin to put her papers in a stack and place them in her folder neatly.
“danielle isn’t here today, is that right?”
“u-um, no.”
“aw, that’s a shame.”
minji tries her best to stay sane in your presence, putting all her attention on the psychology textbook that she’s shoving in her bag. “mhm.”
you hand minji her blue folder adorned with various stickers she’s collected and she takes it nervously. you smile one more time, placing a hand on her shoulder and she think she might blow up.
“you should get more sleep.”
“yeah, definitely.”
“i’ll see you around, bye minji.” you wave your hand and turn to leave, minji’s lips part as she stays stuck in place, trying to regain her composure.
–
“dude, you have like– three classes with her. are you ever going to make a move or…?”
hanni’s voice is small and faint as she looks at you from across the lobby. the bell has just rung, and everyone is free to leave, but hanni and minji always wait for their two underclassmen they’ve basically adopted to hang out after school.
“hm?”
the younger girl groans, “c’mon, we’re seniors! just stop thinking and go do something! you’ve liked her for years.”
“she’s probably not even gay! she’s always with jungwon…”
“they look like friends to me.” hanni crosses her arms and looks over at you. you’re in a little group with jimin, ningning, and wonyoung, conversing with them and giggling here and there. “she’s not even with jungwon right now.”
“that’s– oh my god, be real.” minji sighs, then turns away to look at hanni dead in the eye. “i unironically take pictures for the yearbook and am in the book club. i don’t know, i’m not eye catching or known or fucking drool worthy.”
“girl, change that then!”
hyein and haerin walk over to the upperclassmen to see them bickering again. hyein butts in, stepping into minji’s personal space. “what’s the argument this time?”
“minji’s lovergirl.”
“ahhh, i’ll pay you ten dollars if you ask her out.”
“i’m not taking your money hyein.” minji pinches the bridge of her nose, then starts to trudge away. “let’s go, it doesn’t matter. i’m hungry and i have less than an hour before i need to start editing the layout for the yearbook.”
the group starts to walk out the entrance, but not before minji gets teased and grilled again. little does minji know, you’re glancing at her the whole time. your eyes follow her as she rolls her eyes and playfully punches hanni in the shoulder. for some reason, the corners of your lips turn up in a smile.
–
a few days later, minji finds herself battling an idiot who decided to scale the side of the ador building. civilians are screaming, and some are injured, but minji swiftly moves them to safety.
the culprits wield various weapons, forcing minji to dodge bricks left and right. pieces of debris fly at her, nearly hitting her limbs, and she ends up with a small cut on her cheekbone.
she manages to fend off two of the three culprits, webbing them against a broken wall while dealing with the last one. this guy has good aim and manages to throw a huge piece of the building at her leg, making her wince in pain.
shit, that’s going to bruise.
minji grunts as she catches the piece of the building that had hit her – mid air with her web – and flings it back at the man, hitting him right in the torso and knocking him out.
she slings her web toward the building and leaps, sticking herself to the wall. she takes a few moments to recover, pressing a finger to her face and feeling the blood trickle from the small cut. minji sighs, wiping her face before webbing the criminals together in a way that will make the police's job easier.
(even if they’re not very fond with spiderwoman.)
minji has a sharp sense of awareness; her reflexes and attention to the smallest details give her a kind of sixth sense. still, she doesn’t notice you observing the whole scene from afar.
you had been in the building next door for tennis practice but immediately stopped when you heard the commotion. seeing the vigilante in blue made your jaw drop and your eyes shine with admiration. the way spiderwoman handled the situation left you more than just amazed. you found it incredibly intriguing how she could swing around and fight so fluidly.
“woah.” you say in awe, eyes following spiderwoman as she swings away.
“you’re obsessed with her,” jungwon sighs, “but holy shit that was crazy.”
“she’s so cool.”
“doesn’t your dad… hate her?” he questions, making you bite your lip.
your dad was one of the higher-ranking officers in the police force, so everything spiderwoman did reached you through him—just in a more negative light. he’d complain about the “messes” and “damage” she left behind, and you had to hold yourself back from defending her. you found spiderwoman endearing, considering she put her life on the line and was probably a normal person with responsibilities and things to do, yet she took the time to protect others.
of course, your father had the same goals: protecting the city, safeguarding the people, and creating a safer community. he did his best to achieve this, often catching criminals with his impressive skills, but his idea of fighting crime never really aligned with spiderwoman’s methods. you seemed to favor spiderwoman’s actions a little more, considering you’d put much more threatening people down and your dad was always holding some grudge. he’s just too stubborn to understand, really.
“it’s whatever, i mean, can he do that?”
“okay but he’s a cop y/n. spiderwoman is literally some unknown person with powers that could harm others if she decides to go rogue.”
“why do you always think about the bad?” you groan, then return to the court. you grab a tennis ball, bouncing it up and down before catching it. “she’s doing a lot, all she’s done is help the cops ever since she’s been public to the eye. it’s not her fault journalists are trying to shame her. you sound like my dad… gross.”
jungwon scoffs amusingly, “if your dad knew how you really felt… i’d love to watch that unfold.”
“shut up, why are you invested in my dad’s beef with spiderwoman and not getting a boyfriend.”
“and when are you going to stop fangirling over a masked woman that can shoot webs out her wrist.”
you throw the tennis ball in your hand up, then swing aggressively, catching jungwon off guard and making him jump to the side. he looks at you with a confused expression, you simply shake your head.
“let a girl do what she wants.”
-
minji shows up to school sore and there’s a bandage on her cheek from the night before. she groans as she sits next to hanni in their english class, leaning against her for support.
“dude, what the hell is up with you.”
“a piece of building and fighting for half an hour that’s what.”
“oh.” hanni hums, “sorry to hear.”
“it’s your fault.”
“hey!” hanni frowns.
hanni is one to experiment, and a month ago her victim had been a spider. she had tested various methods of enhancing the spiders abilities and modifying its dna to create an adhesive for the science fair, and unfortunately for minji, the spider had escaped and bit her. minji simply wanted to find a few beakers for her own experiment, the last thing she expected was a spider biting her hand and the next day she didn’t need glasses, her body was toned, she could lift her bed up with a hand — and the worst surprise was her fingers were sticking to everything she picked up.
“well, if you had been more careful…”
“don’t turn this around.” minji sighs, closing her eyes and trying to rest a bit.
her eyes are still closed when she hears a familiar voice that makes her heart flutter, opening them when you start to converse with wonyoung.
“my mom works at ador, i can’t believe spiderwoman had saved her…” wonyoung says.
“really? she did?” you look at her, itching for more details.
“yeah, she almost fell to the ground and spiderwoman saved her.” she repeats.
“wow… im glad she’s okay! oh my gosh, your mom is so lucky, im glad spiderwoman was there.”
minji turns to look at you, fighting back a smile. she is?
“i’d love to be saved by spiderwoman, she seems so cool… like, imagine willingly saving people and whatnot. she must be such great person, right?”
you watch wonyoung shrug, then sit down at her desk. you sit down next to her and she starts to take her folder out her bag before adding, “i mean, probably. she saved my mom, she’s a hero in my eyes.”
“she’s so cool…” you sigh dreamily, minji can’t believe it. “the way she fights is like, oh my god, so sick. i can’t believe she’s real, she’s out of this world.”
you, y/n, are talking highly of spiderwoman. that basically means you’re gushing about her, right? minji blinks three times, fully waking up after the third, and smiles to herself.
wonyoung snickers, “sounds like you have a crush on spiderwoman.”
“stop that! she’s just… ugh.” you roll your eyes and nudge wonyoung. “she’s so admirable, i wish more people would see her as a hero, you know? she’s only done good so far, all the damage and stuff like that only happened because of the people she fought.”
minji might die – her heart feels like it's about to burst. you're on the same wavelength as her, defending spiderwoman, and you admire her too. the way you smile while talking about her alter ego makes minji feel giddy inside. hanni notices, rolls her eyes, and sets her head down on the desk, trying to catch a few extra minutes of sleep while minji revels in the feeling of being in love. hanni might barf.
wonyoung smiles at you, raising her brows. “you’re a fan.”
“maybe.” you admit, looking at the board in front of you. “she’s so cool, that’s all.”
–
minji’s sat outside in the courtyard looking through the pictures she had taken for the archery team. there’s a variety of shots that capture their activities, highlighting their form and bullseyes, and there are a few group pictures in the mix as well.
her eyes are squinting as she looks through them, so focused on the photos that she doesn’t notice someone calling her name.
"hey, minji," you call out, but she’s still hunched over, intently focused on her camera. you walk over, and she doesn’t notice you, too absorbed in adjusting the settings. gently, you grab the front of her cap and turn it around, making it sit backward on her head. startled, she looks up from the camera in her hand to see you. "hi," you greet again, a smile spreading across your lips.
minji’s cheeks flush. “hi, hey. did you need something?”
“yeah, i just wanted to ask a favor.”
“oh, of course, what was it?”
you sit down next to her and she feels herself stiffen up. you smile at her and lean against the table behind you. “well, i was wondering if you could help take pictures for the tennis team? we have a practice and game coming up so i figured they’d be good on the yearbook. also, jungwon wanted to ask you to help him promote a fundraiser he wants to set up.”
“he did?”
you nod, “jungwon’s been planning this for a while, we’re trying to set it up and do a bake sale of some sort.”
“i’m down, but i’m booked for this week. a lot of people have been asking around, and my friends have priority, you know.”
a giggle slips from your lips and you point to her camera. “well, who wouldn’t ask you? you’re the best photographer here, last years yearbook was amazing because they switched heeseung out for you.”
“you think?”
“i know.”
minji stops for a second, it feels like she’s being squeezed and the way you look at her makes her heart beat a little faster.
“t-thanks.” minji hates the small stutter in her response and the way she avoids your gaze. “i can um, arrange something next wednesday for the tennis team. for jungwon’s fundraiser maybe the same week, what was it for anyway?”
"we’re trying to raise money to support others in places that don’t have equal care for the lgbtq+ community!" you explain excitedly. minji freezes up again. we? no, maybe you're just an ally; minji can’t just assume. you're really sweet, kind, and a great person, but that doesn’t mean you're gay just because you want to help others.
“that’s wonderful.”
“mhm, and especially with so many people getting hurt these days, it worries me how people in my own community deal with unequal healthcare, you know?”
minji tilts her head, then says, “wait, your community?”
you look at her with confusion all over you. “yeah! mine. minji, you know im… a lesbian, right?”
fireworks explode, people are cheering, and minji smiles before quickly suppressing it. "oh," she says, then pauses, realizing how flat her response sounds. she nearly drops her camera as she raises a hand in defense, shaking it and stuttering, "i-i mean, it's not a bad thing! obviously, i mean, i'm gay, er—i'm a lesbian too. i think it's great that you care so much about this. it's great. yeah, i'll prioritize the shoot for you."
she looks adorable, cheeks flushed and her glasses sliding down her nose. you push them up with your finger and minji clenches her jaw.
“great.” you say softly, then narrow your eyes at her. “well, i have to get going for practice. thanks again, you’re the best minji.”
she nods and grips the camera in her hand a little tighter, watching you walk away, then turn around for a brief moment to add,
“you look really good with your hat like that, by the way.” the way it slips off your tongue, the way you smile once more and walk away, leaves minji feeling like she’s near cardiac arrest.
–
minji’s at a mall on a weekend, not to shop or hangout with her friends, but because people think it’s a good idea to try and commit crimes in broad daylight.
they’re not just normal, stupid shoplifters either; they’re far from it – near villains. the men she’s fighting have weapons, and they’re raiding various tech stores, causing chaos as people run around screaming. the scene is a mess, with extensive property damage, and minji wonders how it will ever get fixed.
she fights four men in the apple store, they chuck phones at her in hopes of slowing her down, but really, it’s just putting good phones to waste. she jumps up on the ceiling, catching them by surprise, and takes them down one by one from where she is. they’re not difficult to fight, minji had alrieady figured from the whole phone throwing part, so thankfully there’s isn’t a single scratch on her.
a few more stores are terrorized and minji manages to capture at least ten more culprits, webbing them together or sticking them to a wall for the police to find red-handed. she’s left with a few bruises by then, but nothing too brutal.
minji catches sight of two men in the corner of her eye running toward the metro stop that connects to the mall. she quickly follows, weaving past civilians and using her webs to launch herself ahead, closing the distance faster. she watches as the two men jump the entrance gate to the station. not only did they destroy a decent part of the mall, but they didn’t even bother to pay for the metro. they could’ve at least bought a day pass, she thinks wryly.
by the time she gets passed the entrance (she didn’t pay either, but in her case it’s to stop crime) and finds herself at a rough stop.
there are three metro lines: red, blue, and yellow – after getting down the stairs there are three directions that they could’ve gone, and minji doesn’t have time to check every place considering the metro comes and goes.
she’s stuck, the only thing she can do is pick one and pray that she’ll find them.
that’s what she thinks at least, until she hears a woman screaming for help in the direction of the red line. minji swings towards it almost immediately, using her enhanced agility and power to get there as fast as she can.
when she reaches the platform, her eyes widen.
the two men hold you, your arms are restricted and you’re desperately trying to squirm out their grasp. minji immediately feels anger bubbling up inside of her, watching the way the men smile at her.
“let her go.” minji warns, stepping closer.
"how about you relax, spiderwoman? put your hands up, and the girl will be perfectly fine," one of the men sneers, pulling out a dagger and holding it against your neck. your head tilts up, desperately trying to avoid the blade, and your breath shakes as you freeze in place. "wouldn't want to hurt such a pretty little thing, hm? she is one of the captain's daughters, isn't that right?" the man adds, smiling at you disgustingly.
“fuck you.” you curse through gritted teeth. “ugly bitch.”
the man presses the flat side of the dagger against you, the frigid feeling of the material makes you gasp.
you seemed to have been browsing around the mall, considering the casual outfit you have on, but now, you’re in danger. minji looks at you worried, unable to process much from just seeing you being held back like that. you look at her with upturned brows, scared out of your mind but also worrying just as much for spiderwoman.
minji sighs quickly, there’s others around as well, she can’t risk causing a scene in such a tight space with so much risk of making things worse. she puts her hands up slowly, you widen your eyes.
“fine, i won’t budge. just take that blade away from her, now.” minji says.
the man laughs, and so does his little partner in crime. “what, this blade?” he uses the dagger to tilt your head to the side to face him, then grins. “i wouldn’t do a thing to such a beauty.”
you fight back a retort, opting to shut yourself up for the time being. the man puts his hand down, taking away the blade from your throat.
“let her go.” minji orders, looking at you being held back. “she didn’t do anything.”
his partner snickers, then looks at you amusedly before looking back at minji. “you just stay there and we’ll see what happens to–”
before he can answer, you manage to kick him in the back of his knee, throwing him off balance and making him stumble. this gives you a quick opportunity to break free from one man's grip and swing your free hand at the other. you successfully land a blow on the man with the dagger, striking his jaw, but the impact hurts your knuckles, making you inhale sharply.
the men recover as you step away from them, eyeing you angrily.
“you little–”
before they can grab you again, you feel something sticking to your back. you’re being pulled backwards and feel an arm wraps around you. turning over, you see spiderwoman up close and in person. the eyes on her mask narrow as she looks at you, then asks,
“are you okay?”
you gulp, then breathe hard. “yeah, yes.”
“good, stay put.” she says.
you watch as she runs toward the man you had kicked, delivering a punch to his jaw and another to his stomach, making him fall back with a groan. he lays on the ground, clutching his belly, unable to get up after just two hits. the other man, now frightened, clutches his dagger. you watch as spider-woman slings a web at his chest, pulling him toward her, and then punches him right where you did.
you’re amazed, to say the least—until the man somehow manages to swing his dagger at spiderwoman’s upper forearm, leaving a deep cut. your eyes widen in horror as blood seeps out onto the floor.
she gasps in pain as the man attempts to swing at her shoulder, but she quickly throws him to the ground before he can and shoots a web at his hand, making the dagger fall in the process.
ignoring the pain for a moment, minji traps the men on the dirty platform floor by webbing their limbs to the ground. she kicks the man who had the dagger in the crotch for good measure. people cheer in amazement, applauding her efforts.
however, minji’s too distracted by the sharp pain from the cut, and that you’re watching.
she turns to see you appalled, walking over to look at her wound closer.
“you’re– spiderwoman, you’re hurt.”
“it’s not much,” she lies, shaking her head. “just a scratch.”
“no, no it’s not don’t lie to my face.” you grab her wrist without warning, and even though she’s spiderwoman at the moment – not kim minji, the girl who can barely make eye contact with you for more than five seconds – she’s momentarily distracted by the pain and blushing. “i– are you able to swing places?”
“um, i guess?” the confidence she’s built for this alter ego has completely washed away in your presence. “what are you–”
before she can finish, you fish for a handkerchief in your bag and tie it around the bleeding cut. minji doesn’t respond or say anything because a second later you’ve grabbed her hand and started running away from the red line platform. civillians watch, but none follow.
you turn to her for a split second as you speed through the corridors to ask, “do you know where hybe highschool is?”
“yes,” minji says breathily, “excuse me, y/–” she catches herself before exposing the fact that she knows you. “miss, what are you–”
“take me there, you can swing me, can’t you?”
the handkerchief does wonders, or maybe it’s just you. spiderwoman nods. “yeah, yes.”
in a rush of boldness, minji grabs your waist and holds onto you tight, shooting a web up at the ceiling to get the two of you up the big escalator in two seconds, then finds the nearest exit and has you two outside in no time.
“hold on tight, okay? it can be a little scary.”
“i like the thrill, it’s okay.”
minji pauses, catching her breath. “you’re interesting,” she says, then shoots a web at the nearest building. she jumps up, swinging the two of you through the urban jungle, the city blurring around you as minji finds the quickest route to her school with you clinging onto her.
–
when the two of you reach the school, it’s closed and abandoned since it’s a saturday. why would anyone be on the campus during their off day? in this case, it’s because a pretty girl has led spiderwoman back for a reason she hasn’t even said yet.
minji needs to get a grip.
“follow me,” you say quickly, then grab her hand and run towards the south entrance where the main office and clinic are. ““if you’re ever hurt, just remember this.”
the doors aren’t open, but you pull out a keycard from under the mat that unlocks it.
you lead her past the office and towards the clinic, which is empty. minji lets you sit her down – you’re too in your head to consider the fact that spiderwoman is sat down with no word uttered because she had simply let you do so – and watches you shuffle around the storage to find a first aid kit, cloth, a bucket, and a bottle of distilled water.
“what are you doing?”
“you have a really deep cut in your forearm, it’s not safe to just let it go.”
“i could’ve seen a doctor.”
you scoff, then sit down next to her. “they’d ring the police immediately, you know my dad is a captain? everyone there hates you.”
“oh.”
"yeah, oh." you grab her forearm, unwrapping the handkerchief and cringing at how much blood has soaked through. "jesus christ." you hold her forearm above a bucket, pouring water over the wound to rinse it off. then you grab a soft cloth with disinfectant to clean around the area. the sting makes minji groan. "sorry," you apologize.
"it’s fine," she says quietly, watching you clean around the wound with an alcohol wipe. minji bites back more sounds of pain—for your sake, of course.
the rest of the time you treat her, it's silent. thankfully, the cut isn’t severe enough to need stitches. you apply a thin layer of ointment to the wound, then cover it with gauze, wrapping it securely around her forearm to keep it in place. you rub your thumb over the gauze, then look up at spiderwoman.
“does it hurt less?”
“yeah,” she says, looking down at her treated cut. “thank you.”
“it’s nothing.”
“why did you do it?”
“why not?” you shrug, packing up the equipment you used. “you’re spiderwoman.”
“you just said the police hate me.”
“they do.”
“your dad is a cop.”
“you’re smart,” you grin at her teasingly as she points out the obvious. “he is.”
minji sighs, unable to read you at all. “you don’t hate me?”
“i don’t have any reason to. most of the time you do their job better, you help out with the more… serious crimes. if anything, i think you’re a hero.”
that manages to shut spiderwoman up, so you continue, putting the first aid kit away in the cabinet. then you grab the blood and water mixture and pour it down the sink. you rinse the bucket and place it on the ground before tossing the empty water bottle into the trash.
minji cannot believe any of this happened. you, the prettiest, sweetest girl in the school that she’s been head over heels for since grade eight, have managed to drag a vigilante five minutes away to your school and treat her.
“how are you so good with stuff like this?” minji questions, watching you wash your hands.
“my aunt is a nurse.” you dry off your hands with a paper towel, then turn to look at her. “she taught me a fair amount.”
of course you know how to treat a wound, you’re good at everything, minji thinks.
“thank you…?”
“y/n,” minji already knows that, and you saying it is like choir bells ringing. “my name is y/n.”
“right, thank you y/n.”
“mhm.” she watches you fix your black t-shirt and jeans, then grab a small bandaid from the drawer nearby. you look in the mirror and lift your head up, turning to the side to place the bandaid on a small cut that minji didn’t notice before.
“he hurt you?”
“‘just a scratch,’” you mock her words from earlier. “he just grazed me, it’s bleeding a little now though.”
“you’re okay, right?”
“kind of traumatized but i’ll be fine.” you say, brushing it off like it’s nothing. minji is seriously attracted to everything about you. “i’m glad you’re okay.”
“i should be the one saying that.”
“i’m okay, spiderwoman. all because of you.”
minji tries to respond, but her throat dries up. she watches you smile at her, feeling her heart do a little flip in her chest. she wonders what she can do in return, then perks her head up as an idea forms in her mind.
“i can drop you back off at home, it’s getting late,” you offer, though it’s only five o’clock in the afternoon. despite the early hour, minji finds herself wanting to spend more time with you. behind the mask, she feels a bit more confident talking to you, knowing you think highly of her from what you’ve overheard. “you like the thrill, right?”
“you’re a good listener.”
“i guess so.”
“i’d love to get home via spiderwoman, uber’s are pricey these days.”
minji laughs softly and the pain in her arm fades away momentarily.
–
you’re bombarded the next day by your friends and some other people you’ve only talked to a few times in your (almost) four years of being in the school. they all question the same thing, everything is related to what happened between you and spiderwoman because of some pictures going around on the internet.
the people you don’t know all too well all question your experience, but your friends are asking if you’re okay or severely injured.
jungwon acts as a bodyguard, shooing away everyone who isn’t in your circle and tilting your head up to examine the bandaid on your neck.
“is your throat okay?”
“it’s nothing, just a little worse than a papercut,” you assure, but wonyoung makes a face.
“papercuts are terrible y/n,” she groans, “are you sure you’re fine?”
“it’s nothing. spiderwoman saved me before i could do anything, i’ll tell you more, let’s just get to class?”
“you’re sure you’re–”
“wonyoung, it’s a scratch. it’s nothing.”
–
after school, you’re typically at tennis practice or helping out with student government activities. you usually get home around four or five, either sweaty from practice or burnt out from your responsibilities. normally, you arrive before your dad and aunt. your dad’s demanding schedule rarely allows him to rest, and your aunt’s schedule is worse considering she’s a nurse, so you’re usually home alone for a bit.
that’s not the case this time.
you close the door behind you, then turn to see your dad leaning against the counter with his arms crossed. your aunt looks at you, clearly tense.
“oh, you’re both home.” you set your jacket on the little hook in the door. “what’s up…?” the way your dad looks at you makes you stiff, his jaw tightens and he looks angry. he’s rarely ever angry at you, and your aunt seems worried. “did something happen?” you ask.
“how about you explain to me why i’m finding out today,” he steps away from the counter, walking towards you and continuing, “that my daughter crossed paths with that vigilante.”
“spiderwoman?”
“y/n, i thought you knew better.”
your shoulders sink and you sigh, “she’s not as bad as you paint her out to be.”
“she could be, she’s dangerous.”
“dad!” you scoff, shaking your head. “are you dense? if she hadn’t been there, my throat would’ve been sliced.”
“or maybe you wouldn’t have been in that situation at all. you realize those men used you to get spiderwoman to surrender? because of her i almost lost my only daughter.”
your aunt simply hums, then nods. “i’m sorry but… your dad has a point.”
“you’re agreeing with him too?” you groan, “dad, regardless of what could’ve happened, what did happen was that spiderwoman saved me. can’t you see that?”
“y/n, think about what could happen in the long run, listen to your dad. look, i know you’re frustrated, but your dad is also my older brother, he’s always known what’s best.”
“all that spiderwoman can bring is danger to you, don’t follow her antics.”
you stare at both of them, baffled and almost offended. you could’ve died, and they’re still ungrateful for spider-woman’s efforts. you bite the inside of your lip, struggling to hold back the urge to lash out. your dad sends you a small warning look, silently reminding you to keep your composure. scoffing, since it's the only outlet for your frustration, you storm down the hall to your room, deciding to avoid them for a while.
once you close the door, you flop down on your bed and close your eyes.
various emotions come rushing to you, only fuelign the fire of resent towards your dad in the moment.
he’s been so uptight since your mom passed when you were young, becoming increasingly protective and closed off. he pushes you to be better but restricts you from so many things. it’s as if he wants to hide you from the world, only exposing you to what he deems right. his selfishness and narrow-mindedness infuriate you. his biased views feel like chains holding you back and making you angrier.
your aunt has been with you for a while now, and she understands you the most. she gets your moods, motivations, and knows you like the back of her hand. despite everything, she sides with your dad – you feel some sort of betrayal.
your father isn’t a bad guy, but being mad at him makes you forget that for a bit.
“he doesn’t know shit,” you mutter, “spiderwoman isn’t danger.”
sitting up again, you stare at the floor as you recollect yourself.
you groan again, feeling cramped up in the room. your thoughts feel like a stormy cloud over your head and the thought of being in the same living space with your dad only frustrates you more.
quickly, you grab your phone and keys, rushing out your room and down the hall. your aunt and dad stop conversing momentarily as they watch you unlock the door.
“what do you think you’re doing y/n?” your dad questions, watching you closely. you don’t respond, instead sending him a small look before opening the door, and he seems to lose it. “where the hell are you–”
his wrist is restrained and tugged at as you exit the apartment. your dad looks back to see your aunt – his sister – holding him back. she shakes her head and stops him, softly saying, “don’t, just let her.”
“i can’t just–”
“you’re so uptight, just let her be. she’s overstimulated and needs some time.”
he sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose before looking back at the door. his body relaxes, almost going limp as he sits down next to your aunt. “i’m just worried for her.”
“she’ll be fine, just take it easy. i’m worried about her too.”
–
you’ve made it a few blocks away with no idea in mind. you don’t have your wallet or anything, just a heavy heart and clouded mind – and after hearing your stomach rumble, almost an empty stomach too.
it’s still busy during the late evening. people are making their way home after staying late at work, families of three or four linger together, and friends eat ice cream on the benches. you’re trying to find a place that brings you peace. the nearby bookstore, the same one you grew up visiting, pops into your head. it never fails to bring you relaxation, a sort of sanctuary to you.
one more block and you’ve turned to meet the entrance of the bookstore, it closes in less than an hour – that’s more than enough time to cruise around. stepping inside you’re met with the strangely nice smell of books, a small smile forms on your lips.
you make your way over to the graphic novels, sliding your fingers along the spines as you walk through. you’ve already read most of them, and tonight's mood doesn’t really call for this type of reading. the next section you visit is where your favorite poems and literature are found. you scan the shelves closely before picking out a small book filled with a collection of poems you haven’t seen before. flipping through it, you read every other page, admiring the works.
you grab another book before heading to your favorite spot, the little corner away from the shelves near the window.
what you don’t expect to see is someone in your usual spot, slumped against the wall, sleeping with a book in their hand. you squint your eyes as you catch sight of the person, then look closer, realizing it isn’t just anyone: it’s minji.
minji’s always been alluring in your eyes, not just physically but her as a person drew you in a bit. she’d always stumble on her words and had this weird, adorable charm to her with every interaction. plus, she was smart and sweet, but you never had the chance to talk to her as much as you’d like to – even if you were to, you were always a little nervous yourself. seeing her now, she looks especially cute, reminding you of how she makes your heart beat slightly faster everytime you see her.
she’s in a black hoodie and jeans, breathing slowly with her head angled down and her lips slightly parted. her glasses are almost at the tip of her nose and her hair is tied up in a casual bun. you’ve always caught her sleeping in class at least twice a week from afar, you never realized how pretty she looked up close.
you hesitate, unsure whether to wake her or not. glancing down at your phone to check the time, you decide you’ll wake her before the store closes.
to pass the time, you continue to read, marvelled at certain pieces and snapping pictures here and there. this lasts twenty minutes, you almost forget about the time, but minji crosses your mind as you read a certain poem and it prompts you to check your phone and look back at the girl.
you shake her lightly, hearing her groan despite not budging. you squeeze her shoulder and she still doesn’t wake up, so you opt to pinch her cheeks, which stirs her awake.
“hm?” she mutters, blinking a couple times.
“morning minji.”
“y/n, hi, what– how did you get here? what time is it…”
she hears you giggle before responding, “the place closes in ten minutes. i usually read in this space but when i came over i saw you sleeping, so i just stayed close until it got late.”
“you did?” you stayed by minji while she slept, how crazy is that? minji pushes her glasses up. “thank you for waking me up.”
“it’s nothing, but we should probably head out before they kick us out.”
“yeah, that sounds good.”
minji follows you towards the section where you got the book you were reading. she watches as you carefully put the book back in its place, and then you lead her out of the bookstore, saying goodnight to the staff sweetly and waving. minji can only smile and admire until you’re both outside.
you look both ways, then your stomach rumbles. your cheeks warm up and you embarrassingly mumble, “sorry, i haven’t eaten yet.”
“you haven’t?” minji questions.
“no. i’ll eat later, i don’t have my wallet on me.”
“but your stomach just rumbled, you should really eat.”
“it’s whatever.”
“no,” minji shakes her head, then looks at you seriously. “it’s not whatever, let me buy you something.” she says, a little shocked that she even had the confidence to say that. “you need to eat.”
“it’s fine, i–”
“come on, let’s go. the convenience store is at the end of the block.”
“i don’t have my wallet minji.”
“i’ll pay.”
“you’re not paying for me.”
“yes i am. do you want those pictures or…?” minji smirks slightly and you surrender because it makes you feel oddly nervous and warm inside.
“fine.” you respond, shoulders sinking as minji starts to walk in the direction of the convenience store.
the two of you make your way inside, wandering around and browsing the cheaper options. minji grabs a packet of ramen and some green tea, while you find a chicken sandwich and peach tea. after being rung up by the cashier, you head towards the area to prepare minji’s ramen. as you glance at the food in your hands, you feel a pang of guilt, knowing she bought it for you.
minji’s pouring hot water into the bowl while you speak, “i’ll pay you back.”
“it’s nothing, don’t.”
“stop, i will.”
“don’t.” minji shrugs, then uses a chopstick to stir the noodles around. she puts a sauce packet in and mixes again, then looks at you with a small smile. “it’s nothing, seriously. i haven’t eaten dinner yet either, your company is enough.”
“is it?”
she finds herself blushing a little. “um, yeah, yes.”
“oh.” your lips start to turn up. “yours is great too.”
minji turns back to the bowl of ramen because she’s a little embarrassed, but also because her dinner is finished.
the two of you sit at the counters inside the store and start to eat. it’s silent for a while, but there’s nothing wrong with that. you feel happy just being next to her, and the sandwich tastes better than usual.
“why didn’t you eat before?” minji asks you while you’re still chewing.
you take a moment to swallow before answering, “i kind of… ran away for a bit.”
“you snuck out?”
“no, my dad saw me leave. i think my aunt held him back.”
“oh.” minji looks away from you and out the window. “did something happen?” she starts, but stops herself soon after. “i mean you don’t have to tell me of course, i was just curious.”
“it’s fine, my dad and i got into a little disagreement, that’s all.” you see, a little bothered by it in minji’s eyes, but she doesn’t push further. you take a sip of your tea and turn to look at minji. “how long were you at the bookstore?”
“oh, um.” she laughs nervously. “i was reading for half an hour, then fell asleep. you woke me up a few hours after.”
“you were asleep for hours there?”
“only two!” she quickly defends, making you giggle. “i’m just… tired these days.”
you scoff playfully. “doing what?”
minji pauses, trying to formulate an answer. “sleep problems?” it comes out unsure and more like she’s questioning herself. she coughs and says again, firmly, “sleep problems.”
“aw, maybe buy melatonin?”
“my mom isn’t fond of that, she thinks it’ll mess with my health.”
“yeah, my dad thinks that too.”
minji chuckles before slurping up a few more noodles, and you take another bite out of your sandwich.
a few minutes later, you two finish your food and start walking with no destination in mind. the evening chill sets in, and the breeze makes you tense up and shiver. minji notices you clutch your phone tighter as the wind blows against you. you're wearing a baby t-shirt and linen pants, clearly not enough to keep warm in this weather.
“are you cold?”
you shake your head and lie, “no, just a breeze.”
“you look cold. here, i have a long-sleeved shirt under this anyway,” minji says quietly, slipping off her hoodie. she pauses and you do too, then hands it to you. you tilt your head, staring at the piece of clothing, then look back at her. she moves it towards you again, urging you to take it. “i’m warm, you’re not.”
“i am.”
“i didn’t know you could be such a liar, y/n.”
“what?”
“i’m kidding,” she says, then pulls you closer by your wrist. you let her put the hoodie on you, it fits a little large since it’s also oversized on her. “better?”
she looks at you with care in her eyes, you almost stop breathing. the sunset’s glow highlights the curve of her nose and lights up her gaze. all you can think is wow, because wow.
“woah,” you’re a little starstruck. “you’re… gorgeous.”
“i– what? no, where did that come from?”
“sorry, um, i didn’t mean to… it was just in the moment, you know? yeah…” you swallow lightly, and laugh to push away the awkwardness. “thank you. this is much better, i’m warm.”
“that’s good.”
“yeah.”
the two of you continue to walk, with you filling the silence and talking about your classes. minji’s easy to talk to, she’s a great listener and hums at everything before adding her own input. everything she responds with is interesting too, but maybe that’s because she’s minji.
both of you had turned halfway through to start walking in the other direction since you live the same way. minji points at certain stores and spots, sharing short stories and little remarks about memories from each place. her voice is soft and nostalgic, painting vivid pictures of her past experiences as you stroll along together.
you could listen to her all day, or at least a long while. that’s what you realize the more she speaks.
you two reach a point where you need to part ways. minji lives on the right side and you live left, so you two stand at the croner before the crosswalk, looking at each other.
minji pauses you as you start to take off her hoodie, “you can give it back to me tomorrow.”
“what? no way, it’s cold.”
“my home is only five minutes down, it’s fine.”
“you sure?”
“i’m sure.” she adds.
silence follows again for a few seconds, you take the time to scan minji’s face again.
“what happened to your cheek?” you point at the bandage on her cheekbone.
“oh, minji’s not going to tell you that some idiot decided to throw a piece of building at her and scratch her skin. “um, knife?” she clears her throat. “knife.”
“how did the knife get up there?”
minji tries hard to conjure a response, looking down before her eyes light up after a lie forms.
“i had it in my hand while trying to scratch an itch.”
“mhm, okay.” you say squinting your eyes at her and giggling.
minji looks at the bandage on your neck, remembering how, where, and why you had hurt yourself there. it’s odd that you look at her with the same admiration even when she’s out of teh suit – when she’s just minji and not some ‘hero’ in your eyes.
“what happened to your neck?”
“some guy.” you play it off like you didn’t almost get your throat sliced. “you probably heard the story.”
“i didn’t.” she didn’t need to, minji had been part of the story.
“oh,” your fingers raise and brush against the bandage as you recall, “spiderwoman saved me, but this guy managed to graze me.”
minji hums and nods, then steps closer, reaching her hand out to gently put her finger on it. you stiffen.
“were you scared?” minji asks, finger sliding down the bandage in a way that makes you tingle. “it must’ve been scary.”
you shake your head. “spiderwoman was there, i knew she’d come through.”
“right.” minji says lowly, then takes her finger off of you. she stares at you for a good five seconds before smiling softly. “i’ll um, i’ll see you.”
“yeah, thanks.”
“get home safe, text me when you get– oh, wait.” she furrows her brows before pulling out her phone. “i don’t have your um…” her voice quiets down to something close to a whisper, “--your number.”
“you can have it, if that’s what you’re trying to ask.”
“yeah, um, i just wanted to make sure you got home safe.” minji says, because if anything were to happen to you she’d do more than just web some dumbass down. they’d probably be left with a little bruise or two, maybe even left upside down against a wall or tree. minji continues, “if that’s alright with you.”
“that’s perfect.” you type in your number and smile at her once more before finally adding, “thank you for the hoodie, good night minji.”
“goodnight y/n.”
with that, you two depart, and you look back once to see her walking in the other direction. when you turn back, putting your hands in the pocket of minji’s hoodie, you realize: minji’s wonderful.
the image of her smiling and puffing her lips out when you tease her makes you grin to yourself. you can’t tell if it’s because of her hoodie or her; you’re warm inside and out.
–
minji waits for you at the entrance of the school instead of meeting her friends at their usual spot (if the little corridor by the gym counts as a meetup spot anyway). she looks around, you had texted her that you were almost at school.
she feels a little stupid standing there by herself, especially since your friends are nearby and stealing glances at her, making her shrink in her place a little.
all her worries wash away when you walk through the entrance and scan the room, meeting her eyes and lighting up. you make your way towards her with her hoodie in your arms, then hand it to her.
“thanks again.”
“it’s no problem.”
“i owe you, and for the shoot later today.”
“you don’t owe me anything.” minji smiles at you assuringly. “i’ll um, get going. your friends are all here…” she rubs her neck awkwardly and looks down at the hoodie in her hand.
“oh! i was actually wondering…” she watches you look down at the ground. “do you want to walk around together? we have first block together so… if you don’t mind. i enjoyed being around you last night.”
“you did?” minji looks surprised, she sounds surprised. “i mean, yes. yeah, i’m down, let me text my friends.”
“great.”
“yeah.”
minji can’t fight back the smile that forms on her face and neither can you – you like the sight of it. her gums show a little and you think it’s the most endearing thing in the world.
“by the way, are you and your dad okay? after the argument.. you know?”
“oh, yeah.” you mumble. you and your dad agreed to disagree. “it doesn’t really matter, i’m just grateful you were there to help me feel better.”
“i did?”
“how could you not?”
-
minji’s adjusting the settings of her camera, eyes squinty as she looks close at the small screen. from afar, you take a few glances throughout your conversation with jungwon and wonyoung.
you watch as minji’s lips pout a little, she has a poker face that would make her seem intimidating and serious if you didn’t know her.
“hello?” jungwon waves a hand in front of your face. you glance away from minji and your attention is back on him, catching the look he shares with wonyoung.
“why are you guys looking at each other like that.”
wonyoung raises her eyebrows, the smirks. “the real question is why are you looking at minji so much?”
“i’m just… you know… she’s– she’s taking long to set up her stuff.”
“it’s been less than three minutes y/n,” jungwon clicks his tongue. “you even ditched us to walk with her, what’s up with that?”
crossing your arms, you respond, “what’s wrong with that? are you jealous?”
“oh not at all, i don’t care y/n. just curious, that’s all.”
“you looked a little too happy in my eyes.” wonyoung teases, smiling knowingly.
“shut up, she’s just really nice, you know…”
“uh huh.” jungwon hums, smiling wider.
before you can scold him, you catch minji looking up and making eye contact with you. today, she’s wearing a flannel over a white tank top, paired with dark jeans to complete the outfit. she looks a little dorky, but you’re into that – she pulls it off effortlessly.
as she starts to walk towards you, jungwon, and wonyoung, you smile wider, waving at her and beckoning her over with your hand. minji greets the others warmly, then glances down at the ground before looking back up at you nervously.
“hi, are you all ready?”
“yeah, i’ll gather the rest.”
“great, you all can just go on with practice and i’ll try to get the best shots i can.”
“that sounds great! thank you again minji, i owe you so much.”
she chuckles, putting a hand on your shoulder and rubbing it lightly. “it’s nothing.” she says, but what’s something is the familiar tingly sensation making you lose balance. jungwon notices the blush on your cheeks, as well at your thrown off composure, fighting back a laugh.
first, you and jungwon have a warm-up match together. minji snaps a few pictures before wonyoung and heeseung join in for a doubles match. after capturing your group, she moves on to the rest of the team, snapping pictures of them in action. her shots capture the players mid-swing, rackets in hand, their faces set with determination. the light filters through the trees, casting a perfect glow over the court, making each photo dynamic and full of energy.
you sit on the side, watching your teammates and minji (mostly minji) at work.
“i’ve never seen you with hearts in your eyes until now.” wonyoung teases, shoving her shoulder against yours.
“shut up,” you groan, putting your hand on her face and pushing her away. “minji’s so sweet, and cute…”
“i knew it!” wonyoung gasps, “you never look at anyone like that. half the school looks at you like that, but you’ve never returned the gesture.”
“there’s no one in the school to look at like that wony.”
“well, now there is.”
you sigh, leaning into your best friend and pouting. minji looks really, really good on the court, the sun hitting her, and all focused on doing what she does best.
“i never realized how gorgeous she was.” you admit, staring harder. “and she’s so nice, like, danielle – the one in student government – she’s mentioned her a few times and only good things have come out her mouth. she’s not lying.”
“what, did you hangout with her or something? like a date?”
“no! no.” you shake your head, then frown slightly. “i mean, i got into a fight again with my dad and ran out the house and then to the bookstore and–”
“slow down.”
“sorry. i don’t know, i ran into her and just being with her made me feel better. it’s crazy because we’ve barely talked before this.”
“hmm…” wonyoung starts to ponder, narrowing her eyes at minji as she shoots a thumbs up in the air. she turns to face you and your best friend, smiling and walking over. “well, seems like you’re fond of her. i guess we’ll have to let time do the work.” she says before minji’s in a range where she can hear the two of you.
minji stands in front of you and wonyoung, grinning as she explains, “i’ve gotten the last shots i think, now a group picture?”
“yes, that would be great.”
“great, if you could get everyone in the middle of the court that would be great.”
you nod, then grab wonyoung eagerly by the wrist and motion for everyone to gather around, just like minji said.
she instructs you all to have the tallest in the back, with you and jungwon in the front together since you two are the captains. minji sets the camera on the tripod, squinting her eyes as she fixes certain things. then, she gives a small thumbs up and says, “smile!”
the whole team says “cheese!” in unison, making minji smile herself. she snaps a few pictures, then urges you all to do something a little sillier. you make a face and stand on your tip toes to wrap and arm around jungwon, making him groan and laugh simultaneously. it’s candid in a way, with everyone being themselves and enjoying the moment.
minji giggles, then raises her hand up to give one last final thumbs up.
the smile on your face fades into something near shock, because minji’s sleeve falls down to just above her elbow, revealing a covered-up patch of skin – goosebumps trail up your spine because that’s the exact same gauze and placement. everything is identical to what you patched up two days ago, your brows furrow upon seeing it.
minji doesn’t seem to notice, instead taking the camera off the tripod and clicking through the photos. the tennis team starts to converse again, but you’re caught up with the injury on minji’s forearm.
you don’t want to jump to conclusions – but you’re kind of doing that.
what doesn’t help minjis case is the fact that she reacts so quickly when a tennis ball flies toward her head. it’s almost unhuman how she manages to dodge it, then catch it right after.
she walks back towards you, then says, “the pictures look great from the little screen, i’ll take a look at them on the laptop and email them to you, yeah?”
you don’t respond for a moment, your eyes on her exposed forearm. you squint harder, thinking of when you patched up spiderwoman, and nothing shakes you from teh fact that that’s the same fucking bandage.
“y/n?”
“oh, yeah, that sounds good.”
“yeah…” minji realizes what you’re staring at, then panics and quickly rolls down her sleeve again. “i um, i just uh, hurt myself.”
“how?” you look up at her, making eye contact. “what happened?”
“brick.” she says quietly, “i tripped and my arm hit the um, the edge of a brick.”
“right, okay.” you still look at her now covered forearm, squinting again. “i hope it feels better.”
“thanks.”
“yeah.”
–
there isn’t a single person you can confide in about your suspicion that minji might be spiderwoman. jungwon would laugh and brush you off, thinking it’s just a wild fantasy. wonyoung would probably call you delusional, yeah, probably.
left with no one to share your thoughts, you resort to lying in bed, eyes wide open, pondering the possibility. the moonlight filters through your window, casting shadows on the ceiling as you replay every clue and coincidence in your mind, trying to make sense of it all.
you grab your phone, searching up “superwoman” to see a very recent article in the first result that comes up titled: spiderwoman caught in a recent face-off with seoul’s most dangerous gang.
you click on a video beneath the headline, watching the scene unfold. spiderwoman performs a series of flips and maneuvers that seem almost unreal. the person filming is either too nervous or simply bad at their job; the footage is shaky, making it hard to follow. you squint at the screen, trying to make out the details, feeling a mix of awe and frustration as spiderwoman's incredible agility and skill are partially obscured by the unsteady camera work.
what you do catch is a dagger being thrown at spiderwoman’s rib, slicing her suit and watching blood seep out as she clutches the wound. you wince from just watching.
spiderwoman fights off the gang members with ease, knocking out three at once by letting them charge her, then jumping up to make them crash to the ground without her laying a finger on them. the last man stares at her in fear, stumbling backward as she steps closer and webs his mouth shut.
the video ends with spiderwoman webbing all the culprits against the city square as the police arrive. there’s sirens and commotion before she turns to see cops with guns pointed at her before swinging off, leaving them frustrated. your dad appears in the frame, cursing under his breath. the civilians around watch in shock and awe, clapping as she swings away.
she swings west, you take note of that.
after clicking out the video realizing that the article had been posted only five minutes ago, you hurriedly grab a hoodie and rush out your room. your aunt isn’t home yet, so no one would notice that you’re out and about.
you rush out the door and and lock your apartment clumsily, missing the keyhole at least twice before getting it. you run towards the elevator, then out of it once you reach the lobby and speed towards your school.
the school you patched spiderwoman up in, the school you and minji attend, is west of the city square. there’s a chance that spiderwoman won’t be there, but after she’s been shown how to get in after hours, there’s also a chance that the wound on her side needs to be patched up there specifically. besides, you’ve given her the secret to getting in.
you get there after running at your fastest pace for five minutes straight, and now you’re breathing heavily outside the entrance of the school. you’re inside in no time (perks of having a keycard from student government) and tiredly rushing towards the nurses office, then heading inside.
minji, however, is at least three steps ahead of you. after being bit by a genetically modified spider, her senses have been enhanced, so she had heard you as soon as you made it past the entrance – without knowing it was you.
when you step inside, there’s no one.
the only thing you can see are bandages messily spread out on the counter and blood on the floor. you let out a breath at the sight of it.
“it’s me, y/n.”
there’s silence for a few seconds before you hear someone landing on the ground behind you, making you yelp from surprise.
“y/n? what are you doing here?”
“i saw your fight in an article.” you start, turning around to face the masked hero. you’re still not one hundred percent sure if it’s minji, but something tells you it’s her. you can’t really explain it. “you’re hurt.”
“a little.”
“that’s a big scratch you have there.” you point out, making minji laugh despite the sharp pain she feels.
“‘you’re smart’.” now it’s her turn to mock your words. you roll your eyes, stepping closer to press your fingers against it, her blood staining your fingers a bit.
“sit down.”
“i don’t need your help.”
“you’re going to end up with a soaked bandaid, spiderwoman. i know what i’m doing, and i’m already here.”
minji inhales sharply when you press against the cut. “fine.” she croaks out.
she sits down on the counter, legs hanging off as you clean around the wound, blood soaking the small towel. you add some disinfectant, hearing her wince lowly and grip the counter not-so-subtly, so you grab her hand, squeezing comfortingly.
“it’s okay, i’m here.” you mumble, looking up at her.
minji feels her heart tighten.
“thank you.”
you hum.
you bandage the wound carefully, relieved it’s not deep enough to require stitches. spiderwoman glances at her rib area, gently sliding her fingers over your handiwork. she looks back at you, a soft smile playing under her mask.
she watches you look back, frowning.
“what’s wrong?” minji asks.
“you’re bleeding.”
“you patched me up.”
shaking your head, you do something that makes minji short-circuit. your hand falls to her jawline, your thumb grazing the edge near her chin before pressing down. minji feels a sharp pain she hadn't noticed before. when you pull your thumb away, you stare at the smear of blood on it, holding it up to show her.
“it wasn’t just your abdomen.” you explain, then the worry fills your eyes again. “you’re bleeding through your mask.”
“oh,”
“can i? i won’t do it all the way, just past your lip to treat the wound.”
minji hesitates, then nods. “yeah, that’s okay. no more than that.”
“of course.”
you tremble a little as you roll up her mask tantalizingly. your fingers meet her skin just barely, but she still hears her breath hitching and her throat drying up.
you’re looking at her exposed lips before you even pay attention to the cut on her jawline. they’re plump and parted before you, catching your eye effortlessly. after gazing for a few seconds longer, you cradle her face in one hand to keep her in place as you dab an alcohol wipe over the cut – she winces.
“sorry.”
“it’s fine.”
a few seconds later and there’s a bandaid on her jawline now, courtesy of you.
she softly rubs the bandaid, then brings her mask back down. she clears her throat,
“thank you.”
“it’s nothing.”
“you didn’t have to.”
“i want to.” your expression is hard to read, a mix of worry and pity, but also admiration. “you’re a hero, you should be treated like one.”
“i just have responsibilities.”
“well, you should be someone’s responsibility too.”
“why yours?”
“because i care – a lot.”
minji stays silent for a while, staring at you through the mask. she feels beyond lucky, a little emotional too. her chest tightens slightly, urging her to look away from you and scoot away.
you frown again.
–
the next day minji shows up next to you nervously with hanni by her side. you’re with jungwon at your locker, conversing with him until you feel a tap on your shoulder. when you turn around, you’re more than happy to see minji.
she has a small cut on her jawline in the same area and with the same bandage. there’s no denying that spiderwoman stands before you, but you’ll let her know a different way.
jungwon watches her hand you a flashdrive, her other hand clutching the strap of her bag.
“um, these are the pictures.” her lips move the same way as spiderwomans, and they’re just as alluring. “ ihave the edited and original versions of each, just tell me which one you like the most.”
without warning, you reach over and hug her. she widens her eyes, and so do hanni and jungwon as they watch everything unfold. you purposely slide your hand over the wound on her rib area, pressing on it slightly and hearing her sharply exhale in your ear.
it’s her, it’s definitely her – you couldn’t be any happier that it’s her. minji’s sweet, caring, and very attentive, her personality fits her alter ego perfectly.
you pull away from her and smile, your hands gently resting on her forearm, holding her in place. minji feels a rush of warmth hit her cheeks like a summer heatwave, her heart pounding in her chest.
“you’re literally the best, thank you minji.”
“y-yeah, it’s no problem.”
hanni looks dumbfounded watching the exchange. she turns to minji after you walk away with jungwon, and her best friend is smiling like an idiot. hanni almost gags.
–
a week passes by, you and minji have spent more mornings before class together, even conversing after school time to time.
minji seems to have healed, the bandage on her cheekbone is gone and there’s a faint line that indicates a former cut on her face, but it’s not noticeable under her concealer. you’re happy to see that she’s getting better physically – much faster than the normal person, you might add.
(because she’s spiderwoman, you know she’s spiderwoman.)
you’ve spent more time admiring minji, your crush on her growing deeper and it almost makes you forget that she has a whole other persona. you can’t remember a single thing about the arachnid while staring at her brown eyes and pretty pink lips.
–
there’s not much crime for a little while, not until two weeks after the night you had patched up spiderwoman (kim minji, the prettiest girl in the school).
a video on instagram reaches four thousand views in three minutes, the video showing spiderwoman leaping off a building and knocking down some lunatic with legs made of metal. some scientists really need to stay thinking inside the box, because giving yourself additional limbs to steal from organizations is just insane.
you watch as spiderwoman gets tackled to the ground at ador labs, grappling with manmade tentacle arms using her enhanced strength. sitting on the edge of your bed, you bite the inside of your lip when you see her shoulder get cut by the edge of a mechanical hand.
thankfully, the police arrive just in time to assist. they shoot at the villain, whose face bears an uncanny resemblance to the ceo of jyp manufacturing, distracting him long enough for spiderwoman to kick him off and shoot webs at his goggles.
the person recording has a steadier hand than the last, capturing the way spiderwoman uses her webs to launch herself at the man and kick him in the chest. she quickly rips off two of the tentacles, causing the remaining ones to shut down.
she collapses to the ground, clearly exhausted, but scrambles back up and onto her feet as the police start to close in on her. she’s swift and smart, easily fleeing the scene in no time.
you had left your apartment the moment the video ended, and now you find yourself back at school, catching your breath and processing everything you just witnessed as yourush towards the nurses office.
opening the door, you catch spiderwoman sitting on the floor and leaned against the counter tiredly, clutching her shoulder.
“my god,”
“you came.” she says, practically a breath.
“of course i did, i saw the video.”
“i’m so tired.”
“and you’re hurt.”
“it’s not that bad actually, this one’s actually a scratch.”
“bullshit.” you mumble, quickly rushing over to tend to her wound.
the routine unfolds without much change: you gently clean away the blood, carefully applying disinfectant. minji fights to suppress her cries of pain, but the discomfort is clear in the way her body tenses and reacts. you offer her comfort, your hand resting reassuringly over hers. through the mask, minji gazes at you with a mixture of awe and gratitude, feeling like she’s witnessed rain after a drought.
“thank you.”
“it’s nothing.” you’ve said it countless times, minji’s said it back to you when she was just minji and not someone under a suit that could swing webs, save the day, and get hurt for you to take care of her. “i mean it.”
you sit beside her, your arms pressing comfortably against each other, and lean your head against the cabinet door beneath the counter.
minji—spiderwoman—is the first to turn her head and look at you. she visibly relaxes as her gaze settles on your side profile. you turn to meet her eyes, offering a soft sigh, feeling a shared calm in the quiet space between you.
“can i,” your voice quiets down to something near a hum. “can i kiss you?”
“w-what?” minji feels her throat go dry and blood rushing to her cheeks, it’s so sudden, you must be more exhausted than her. “i, um, i don’t know if you’d like that. you barely know me.”
“sure i would, spiderwoman.”
minji doesn’t stop you when you reach over to the bottom of her mask, rolling it up. she could stop you, but she’s stuck in place, unable to move despite how risky it is for you to find out who she really is.
there’s no chance you’d stick with her if you knew who she really was, she’s been too comfortable hiding behind this “spiderwoman” persona, hiding who she really is.
you roll the mask up less than halfway, the bottom half of her face exposed to you. the wind hits her skin and she shivers.
minji feels transparent. “i, um–”
“pretty,” you stare hard at her lops, then lean closer. “you’re so pretty.”
“you haven’t seen my whole face.”
“and yet you’re still kissable.”
“y/n, i—“ she cuts herself off, words stopping at her throat as you tilt your head and place a hand where her jaw meets her neck. she begins again, unknowingly leaning closer. “i don’t think you’d be happy with the person under the suit.” she mutters quietly.
“sure i would,” you murmur, then press your lips against hers softly. you feel her kiss back and smile into her. you part just barely, your lips ghosting hers, “kim minji.”
minji hums surprisingly when you kiss her again, still reciprocating but quickly pulling away with a gasp.
“w-what? how did—“ she clears her throat, “who’s kim minji?”
you don’t respond to her question, instead, reaching for the edge of her partially rolled-up mask and laughing softly.
“can i?”
“um,” minji folds when you look at her like that, eyes pleading and face pretty as the moon shines through the window and highlights your features. “yeah…”
you smile at her, removing the mask off her head fully to see your classmate and crush under it. she’s battered up and her hair is messy because of the mask, plus, she looks fatigued. despite this, she just looks cuter in your eyes.
without warning, you lean in again, pressing your lips against hers. minjis eyes widen momentarily before she sinks into your touch, placing a hand on your cheek and melting into you.
when you two pull away again, you grin at the way the moon shines on her, exposing the deep blush on her cheeks and the nervousness in her features.
“why wouldn’t i want to kiss you?”
“how did you— how’d you find out?”
you shrug. “i’ve liked you for a while now, i didn’t even know it until the night you gave me your hoodie. i mean, i always thought you were cute. i paid more attention to you and all the bruises and scars added up, and i could recognize those lips from a mile away.”
she blushes intensely, the manages to breathe out a small “oh.”
“mhm.” you hum once more before hastily pecking her lips. “you’re so cute.”
“wait, you actually… do you really like me?”
“of course i do minji.”
“it’s not becuase im spiderwoman, right?”
“no,” you grin at her dumb expression. “i like spiderwoman because she’s you, minji.”
“seriously?”
you groan, looking at her with a stupid ‘are you serious’ expression painted on your face. “do i need to kiss you again?”
“um,” minji starts, but stops herself from being so dense. “yeah, please.”
“okay.” you respond happily, cupping her cheek and closing the distance again.
you smell like vanilla and feel like snowflakes in the spring. as you cradle her jaw and kiss her softly, minji tries to figure out if she’s dreaming. your arms wrap around her neck, pulling her closer. minji's lips gently hold your top lip, while you play with the ends of her hair, twirling it between your fingers.
“hey, minji?” you pull away to softly mumble against her lips, then minji hums in response. “let’s go out sometime, is that okay?”
“of course, yeah, please.” she sighs lovingly.
yeah, it’s not a dream.
it can’t be because you pull away and look at her like she’s the prettiest flower in a field of nothing. you smile at her, holding her face in your hands like she’s everything you’ve ever wanted and more.

Spiderwoman!Yunjin x Reader
Synopsis: One night, after Yunjin returns from her crime-fighting duties, the two embark on an exhilarating swing through the city that brings them closer than ever. Between playful banter, stolen kisses, and heart-pounding adventures, Y/N learns that love with a superhero is full of surprises—but it’s also filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering trust
Warnings: pure fluff ,synopsis says it all
Word count:2.3k
You had never quite gotten used to the idea of dating a superhero. Every night was a balance between quiet solitude and the thrill of knowing your girlfriend was out there saving the world—or at least your corner of the city. Tonight, like many others, you found yourself perched on the rooftop of your apartment, a blanket wrapped around your shoulders as the cool night air brushed against your skin. Above you, stars dotted the sky, their faint glow fighting against the city lights below.
You checked your phone out of habit, not expecting any messages but still hoping for one. It was past midnight now, the time when Yunjin would usually finish her patrol. It wasn’t that you minded waiting; in fact, you enjoyed these moments of stillness, knowing that any second she could come swooping in, her playful grin lighting up the night.
And right on cue, you heard it—the faint whoosh of webs shooting across buildings. You looked up just in time to see her silhouette flying through the air, her figure moving with effortless grace, as if the entire city was her playground. Spider-Woman. Yunjin. Your girlfriend.
She landed softly on the rooftop, the moonlight casting a silver glow over her suit. Her face was still hidden behind her mask, but you could tell she was smiling by the way she carried herself. She was always full of energy after a night out swinging through the city.
“You’ve been waiting long?” she asked, her voice slightly muffled by the mask as she approached you.
“Not really,” you said, smiling up at her. “Just a couple of hours.”
She winced, clearly feeling guilty. “Sorry about that. There was a little more action tonight than usual.”
“Saving the world again, I assume?” you teased, pulling the blanket tighter around your shoulders as the breeze picked up.
“Something like that.” She laughed, finally pulling off her mask. Her hair was slightly tousled, but her eyes sparkled as they always did when she looked at you. “I missed you,” she said, her voice softer now.
You smiled warmly. “I missed you too.”
Yunjin sat down beside you, pulling you into a hug. You let yourself relax in her arms, your head resting on her shoulder as you breathed in her familiar scent, a mix of adrenaline and something distinctly her. It was always a strange contrast—how she could be out there fighting crime one minute, and the next, she’d be here with you, completely at peace.
“So, how was it tonight?” you asked, breaking the silence. “Did you catch any bad guys?”
“Just a few. A robbery downtown and a couple of guys trying to steal a car.” She spoke casually, as if stopping crime was no big deal. “Nothing too serious, though. Pretty standard stuff.”
You looked up at her, admiring how calm she was about all of it. “You make it sound like you’re just running errands.”
She laughed, her arm tightening around your shoulders. “To be honest, it kind of feels like that sometimes. You’d be surprised how much of this job is just chasing down petty criminals.”
You shook your head, smiling. “You’re amazing, you know that?”
She looked down at you, her smile softening. “Not as amazing as you for waiting up for me every night.”
“Hey, someone’s got to make sure Spider-Woman stays out of trouble.”
“Oh, is that your job now?” she teased, leaning in a little closer.
“Someone’s got to do it,” you replied, your heart skipping a beat as she closed the distance between you.
Yunjin’s gaze flickered down to your lips for a brief moment before she leaned in, brushing her lips softly against yours. The kiss was tender, full of warmth and affection, the kind of kiss that made the world disappear for a moment. You closed your eyes, letting yourself melt into the feeling, her presence grounding you in a way nothing else could.
When she finally pulled back, her eyes lingered on yours, a small, almost shy smile playing at the corners of her lips. “I’ve been waiting to do that all night,” she whispered.
You laughed softly, feeling your cheeks heat up. “You could’ve done it sooner if you weren’t out fighting crime.”
She chuckled, resting her forehead against yours. “You’re right. I need to get my priorities straight.”
For a while, the two of you sat in comfortable silence, the city’s hum fading into the background as you held each other. These were the moments you cherished most—when it was just you and Yunjin, no masks, no superhero responsibilities, just the two of you sharing a quiet night under the stars.
But, of course, Yunjin was never one to let things stay quiet for too long.
After a few minutes, she shifted, looking at you with that mischievous glint in her eyes that you knew all too well. “You know what we haven’t done in a while?”
You raised an eyebrow. “What?”
“Gone for a swing,” she said, her grin widening as she stood up and held out her hand to you. “Come on, it’ll be fun.”
You blinked at her, half-laughing in disbelief. “Are you serious?”
“Dead serious,” she replied, wiggling her fingers at you. “I promise I won’t drop you.”
You hesitated for a second, glancing down at the city streets far below. The idea of being carried through the air like that was both terrifying and thrilling. But then you looked at Yunjin, her eyes sparkling with excitement, and you couldn’t help but smile. You trusted her completely.
“All right,” you said, taking her hand. “But if you drop me, I’m breaking up with you.”
She laughed, pulling you to your feet. “Deal. But you’re not getting rid of me that easily.”
With that, Yunjin wrapped her arm securely around your waist and pulled you close. You could feel her warmth against you as she fired a web at a nearby building, and before you knew it, the two of you were soaring through the air.
The wind rushed past your face, and your heart leapt into your throat as Yunjin swung you both effortlessly between the towering buildings. You clung to her, your breath catching in your chest, but the fear quickly gave way to exhilaration. The city lights blurred below you, and for a moment, it felt like you were flying.
Yunjin let out a joyful laugh, her voice full of pure, unfiltered happiness. “Isn’t this amazing?”
You couldn’t help but laugh with her, the adrenaline making your heart race. “Okay, I’ll admit, this is pretty cool!”
She grinned, spinning both of you in mid-air before gracefully landing on another rooftop. Your legs were a little shaky when you touched the ground, but you were still grinning from ear to ear.
“That was incredible,” you breathed, slightly out of breath. “I can’t believe you do that every day.”
Yunjin smiled, her arm still around your waist. “You get used to it after a while. But it’s a lot more fun with you.”
You looked up at her, your heart swelling with affection. “I guess that makes me your sidekick now, huh?”
“More like my partner in crime-fighting,” she said, leaning down to kiss you again. This time, the kiss was deeper, more passionate, the thrill of the swing still lingering between you. Her lips were soft and warm against yours, and you felt yourself get lost in the moment, your arms wrapping around her neck as you pulled her closer.
When she pulled back, her forehead rested against yours, and you could feel her breath against your lips. “You make everything better, you know that?” she whispered.
You smiled, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. “I could say the same about you.”
For the rest of the night, you and Yunjin stayed on that rooftop, talking about everything and nothing at the same time. She told you stories about her latest adventures as Spider-Woman, and you shared the little things that had happened during your day. It was peaceful, being up there with her, away from the noise and chaos of the city below.
As the first hints of dawn began to creep over the horizon, you yawned, leaning your head on Yunjin’s shoulder. “I think it’s time for bed,” you mumbled sleepily.
Yunjin smiled, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “Yeah, we should probably get some sleep.”
She stood up, helping you to your feet before wrapping her arm around your waist once more. “Let’s get you home,” she said, her voice soft and comforting.
With one last swing, Yunjin brought you back to your apartment, gently lowering you onto the balcony before landing beside you. You turned to her, still feeling a little light-headed from the adrenaline and the late hour.
“Thanks for the adventure,” you said, smiling up at her.
“Anytime,” she replied, her eyes full of warmth. “Get some rest, okay?”
You nodded, leaning in for one last kiss before turning to head inside. But just as you reached the door, Yunjin called out to you.
“Hey,” she said, her voice soft. “I love you.”
You smiled, your heart fluttering at her words. “I love you too, Yunjin.”
And with that, you disappeared into your apartment, leaving Spider-Woman standing on your balcony, watching over you as always.

having feelings about trans Gwen,,, like there's the 'superhero leading a double life' allegory for being closeted, which ppl have noted, but there's plenty I haven't seen anyone mention yet! like, the fact her dad has a trans patch in support of her means she's out.
She's a young trans *girl* (as opposed to a trans woman) living as her authentic gender in a loving home. she went to her school dance in a dress. she did ballet! which of course boys can do too, but often times when people are assigned male they don't get the chance to explore feminine hobbies. It's really lovely that someone, likely Gwen's dad, supported her enough to let her have those girly experiences and memories, whether she was living as a girl when she took dance up or as a gnc boy.
While it's subtle rep, I still think it's awesome to imply a character like Gwen is trans. Trans girls don't always get to have a childhood. Transmisogyny fetishizes transfems and presents them as always victimisers, never victims. They're barred from girlhood and it's connotations of innocence, vulnerability, lovableness.
Not that Gwen isn't a hashtag strong female character! And not that she hasn't had to grow up fast in other ways. She Is Literally Spiderwoman and she plays the drums and has agency and expresses negative emotions. But she's also a teenager, and she gets to be hugged and comforted, and to be set up for a soft friends to lovers relationship with another teenager, a cis boy who respects her and only knows her as a girl and thinks she's amazing and draws her in his sketchbook. That is not a role the media often lets trans girls have!!! It's lovely to think young transfems might be able to see themselves in a character consistently shown as worthy of affection.
Of course, the fact that Gwen is in the closet about being spider-woman is even sadder knowing this is her second rodeo. Lots of us have hesitated to come out a second time because our parents were supportive about the first thing and well, putting something else on them feels like taking the piss or hoping for too much.
Something else I wanted to talk about is how Gwen being trans effects a reading of her Peter's death, especially taking into account the new information this film gave us about this. There's this gendered switch happening, where Peter passes on his usual role to a woman. What's more, he has to die for her story to happen. She loves him, and never wanted him to die, but she's blamed for it anyway. Her father talks affectionately about the dead Peter, calling him his daughter's best friend. He talks about him like a son. He vows revenge on Gwen for killing him. It's a fantastic allegory for how some transphobic parents hate their out trans children for 'killing' the kid they had before.
I think with the above in mind, maybe we can see the subtext of Gwen's arc with her dad in this film as that of a supportive parent who's nevertheless got some biases left that hurt his trans daughter, who doesn't speak up for fear his acceptance is conditional.
I don't think it's a stretch to suggest that protecting a trans daughter is this Captain Stacy's motivation while he's working as a cop. Obviously there's the text that he wants to be a 'good cop' to work against the institution's bigotry, and he displays the trans flag on his work jacket. His quitting the police is a fantastic story beat because it makes a point about the real world while also serving a lot of the analogies going on.
Good cops quit. They realise you can't be a well intentioned cog in a bigoted machine. It doesn't matter if you're a bigot or just taking actions a bigot might because you're working within parameters set by bigots. It's an important message. Within a trans reading of the film, I'd also see this plot moment as Stacy realising he can't protect his trans daughter if he's still playing by the rules of a society that see her as threatening and duplicitous. He's then able to stop seeing her on some level as having killed his son.
They're able to be close again because he has completely rejected the cis culture he was a part of, rather than just decrying the worst parts and slotting Gwen in. She no longer has to worry that he'll rescind his acceptance if she's too trans, and so he gets to know all of her because she can let him into her world without self-editing.
Anyway, those are my thoughts on Gwen after watching Across The Spiderverse two hours ago lmao.

“What do you mean that little nerd has two spidermen there?!” Miguel snaps at Lyla as the other spidermen watched.
“Exactly as I said,” the AI said nonchalantly. “Peter Parker from Earth 19999 and his Doctor Strange has caused multiple inter dimensional rifts and even involved Spidermen from T-200001 and R-2011005.”
Hobie snickers as Miguel looks like he’s about to pop a vein as he examines the inter dimensional damage this event is causing. Jessica sends Hobie a scolding glare before looking at her leader with a reassuring smile.
“I’m sure whatever is happening is being handled.” She soothes. “Didn’t you send someone out there to monitor the situation, Lyla?” Jessica tries to ease his worries by hoping Lyla sent in someone equipped to handle the situation.
“Of course.” The AI calmly says as she looks over the reports. “I sent the new recruit, “Spider-Gwen”, along with Spider-Woman 16457-0…”
The whole room went silent for a moment as they realize that Lyla just sent the one person they hoped wasn’t sent in.
Jessica looked at Miguel only to see him glaring a Lyla, looking like he’s about to go ballistic. “Hey Lyla, it’s not a good idea to joke about sending Sunny off on some mission-“ Jessica nervously laughs as she notices Miguel’s talons growing out of his finger tips.
Lyla, clearly not bothered by the tension in the room, scoffs. “Who else would I send to handle this? Better to send someone who doesn’t have a dimension to protect to a potentially doomed one.” She reasons.
And that was what broke the camel’s back.
“LYLA, I SWEAR TO-“ Before Miguel could snap at his AI, all the the abnormalities on the screens resolved themselves as Lyla smiles.
“Mission successful. Spider-Gwen and Spider-Woman are heading back to the Lob-“ The AI is interrupted when Miguel shuts her off. Everyone cautiously avoids eye contact with their leader as he sits back into his spot, the tension still lingering like a fog.
A bright glowing portal appears above the table and two figures drop down laughing.
“That was amazing! Did you see how that building just twisted like paper?” Gwen laughs as Sunny smiles back at her.
“That was fun!” The spiderwoman giggles as she takes in where they landed. “Miggy!” Sunny exclaims as she sees her tall companion, her mask disintegrating so her excited gaze meets his frustrated one.
Gwen notices the tension filled room of her colleagues and jumps down beside Jessica and Hobie while Sunny plops right infront of Miguel. Before she could ask about what was happening, Jessica shushes Gwen and watches the two spiders interact.
“What’s wrong, Miguel?” Sunny tilts her head as she looks at his deep frown.
“Nothing.” Miguel snaps as his harsh stare examines her body. Upon realizing that the damage was minimal, his annoyed expression softens to mild irritation.
Sunny still frowns at his before an idea causes a smile to form on her face. She reaches into her hip bag and pulls out a small ziplock bag. Miguel raises an eyebrow at the shorter woman as she opens the bag and presses a small piece of candy to his mouth. He moves his head so the sticky hard candy misses his mouth as he grumbles.
“Sunny, what are you doing?”
“I’m trying to get that bitterness out of your face, Miggy.” She answers back as her free hand grasps his chin. Even though he’s stronger than she is, he rolls his eyes and lets her move his face back. She attempts to press the candy to his lips but he doesn’t comply with a slight hint of a blush on his sharp cheekbones.
“Miguel..” Sunny growls in frustration, which sounded more adorable than intimidating to Miguel. Her brows furrowed as her eyes burned in annoyance. Her mouth twisted from its normally cheery position into a deep pout.
Miguel’s annoyance disappears as he admires her, his eyes shining with a brief moment of awe. Before he can realize what’s happening, Sunny pushes the hard candy into his mouth with a victorious smile. Miguel looks at her in shock before rolling his eyes, the adoration still lingering behind the false annoyance.
“See? There’s my sweet Miggy.” Sunny hums as she lets go of his face. The warmth from her hand left his face burning despite the breath of relief that left his nose. The fear of almost losing her again was unbearable, so seeing her smiling at him again with those same warm eyes made his own lips curl slightly.
Before he could reply, a snort of muffle laughter breaks the bubble around them.
Jessica lightly smacks Hobie as Miguel’s eyes glares at the forgotten audience around him and his Sunshine. Hobie controls his fit of laughter at the sight of his ruthless leader putty in the small spider’s hands as Miguel focuses on him.
“I’m sorry, boss.” Hobie gasps to catch his breath. “It’s just-“
Before any of them can explain themselves, orange portals appear below them as Miguel seethes with a look of embarrassment, “Get out.”
As all the spidermen are teleported out of the room, Gwen looks to Jessica as they all land in the lobby. “What was that about?”
Jessica chuckles as her eyes shines at the younger spider warmly. “That’s what a whipped man looks like.”
She laughs as she realizes that Sunny wasn’t kicked out of the meeting room like the rest of their colleagues.

Angst with Happy ending.
Warnings: Mentions of injury, blood, weapons, daggers & violence. Brief moment of R being semi naked and Kate being a little bit of a flushed mess. | 1.4K
AC: Thank you for sending this. I took inspiration from the movie scene and played around with it a little. I hope you enjoy this! x
New York City was lit up with all its beauty, the public completely unaware of the secrets the sewage held underneath them. The lizard had his grip on you, his claws so close to your face you could see every tiny detail they held, “you stopped me once” he growled, looking into your eyes covered by your mask.
“You won’t stop me again” he continued. His claws piercing through the material of your suit that covered your body, “I’m getting stronger every day!” He went on, drawing his sharp claws across your chest, drawing blood.
Your camera flashed, catching the enemy off guard for a few very, very short seconds for you to clock him one to the jaw, causing you both to fall into the water. A hard kick to the Lizards face and you were free to swim to safety. Your injury throbbed with pain as you got yourself to a secure spot to check yourself.
From what you could tell, the large marking wouldn’t need stitches to your relief, but you’d need to act fast to avoid infecting. You took a moment, sitting on the rooftop of a large building, your eyes scanning the city for an idea until your eyes landed on the area your friends lived in. That’s where you’d swing yourself too. Swinging through buildings with easy until you landed on Kate’s fire escape.
Through the window you saw Kate lying on the queen-sized bed, eyes glued to her phone while Yelena was sat at the desk sharpening her daggers. Neither one of the women had noticed you at the widow until you had tapped your forehead on the glass. Yelena looked over her shoulder and smiled softly, “come in!” You heard her voice behind the window, Kate looked up, placing her phone by her side when she noticed you.
Doing your best to hide the pain you were in, you slid the window open as Kate sat up, “you know, I do have a front door, right? Why do you two feel the need to always come in through a window?” She said, teasingly. Yelena chuckled lightly, “maybe we don’t want to walk through the restaurant to get here”
You weakly laughed at the couples light bickering as you climbed through the window. “Hey! you love Herman's!” Kate argued as Yelena swung around on the chair.
“Y/n!” She said in worry as you held yourself up, sitting on the countertop. Droplets of blood hit the floor, catching Kate’s eye as the two women rushed over to you. “What happened?” Kate asked, gently pulling you into her arms to keep you from falling. “You should see the other guy” you joked, sinking into Bishop’s arms.
“What on earth did you fight? A bald eagle?!” Yelena frowned as her eyes took in the open three cuts across your chest. Gently, her fingers touched the surrounding area of your wounds, checking to see how deep they were.
“Try a giant mutant lizard” you answered as Kate kindly brushed the loose strains of hair from your face. “You’re lucky these are too deep” Yelena commented, “we’ll clean it and get you patched up. Then, you can tell us where to find this big foot lizard” she added, looking up at you.
“I’ll make some coco!” Kate suggested, earning looks from both you and Yelena. “What? I thought it would be nice” she said, looking between you both. “Kate Bishop, please go get the first aid kid and some fresh towels” Yelena requested, lightly shaking her head at the archer.
“Right! Good idea!” Kate smiled softly before helping you rest your back against the bedhead before rushing out of the room.
“You’ve got a death wish bug-girl, I tell you that” Yelena commented.
“Yeah…I probably shouldn’t have gone alone” you replied, the throbbing pain making you throw your head back slightly. “Here, lean forward, I’ll take this off” Yelena offered, needing better access to your wounds.
Kate returned moments later with towels, the first aid kit and a large bowl of warm water. “Now do you want some coco?” She asked, “might take your mind off the pain” she added in hopes of convincing you. She never failed to make you smile in such moments.
“If you don’t say yes, she’ll just keep asking. She wants to live in a chocolate house one day” Yelena said under her breath, helping you remove your sports bra. Kate’s blue eyes moved to the large cuts, the main middle cut started from your left shoulder and traveled to the swell of your right breast, the cut on the left of the main was a clean straight cut on your left breast that jumped to the bottom of your right. The third cut was the least of Yelena’s worries, a small cut on your right shoulder.
“Yep, will definitely take your mind off the pain” Kate continued, trying her best to keep her eyes from dropping any further. Yelena looked at her over her shoulder, her eyes squinting slightly as she noticed Kate’s cheeks turning red. “Kate, go make the hot coco” she said, lightly shaking her head.
“G-good idea!” She stuttered slightly, she always admired your frame and felt a little jealous that she couldn’t look that good.
“Is she okay?” You asked, confused but the way she was acting.
“She’s a hopeless lesbian, now this might sting” the blonde replied.
You sat there in silence while Yelena cleaned the dried-up blood surrounding the area of your injuries, you focused on keeping your breathing steady at the stinging pain of the disinfectant soaked into your cuts. Kate returned moments later with a tray in her arms, three mugs steaming with hot cocoa balanced carefully as she placed the tray on the desk.
“So, uh, you said this was a mutant lizard” Kate turned to you, handing you the hot mug of chocolate heaven. “Yep!” You smiled softly as a thank you.
“You’re not being serious though, right? Because surely a giant mutant lizard would be all over the news by now” she added, taking a seat beside you. She could only offer conversation to distract you while Yelena tended to your wounds.
“Well, not if it’s hiding in the sewage” you looked to the brunette and took a sip of your drink.
“And how did you find this lizard?” Yelena asked.
“It’s a long story, but next time, I’ll be ready”
“Yes! Because we’ll be there” Kate said almost too excited to go on a man hunt for a mutant in New York City.
Yelena reached for a bandage, “Kate’s right. We’ll be there. Mutant lizards are not a one bug girl job” she inserted.
“Deal” you replied knowing that trying to convince these two that you didn’t need their help was going to be an endless argument. Kate leaned forward with a sparkle in her eyes, “so, tell us everything! What did it look like? Was it green? Did it have like, a frill neck? Ooo, maybe it could breath fire!!! Was it a fire breathing lizard?”
Yelena rolled her eyes as she began to wrap the bandage around your chest, “Bishop this isn’t a fantasy novel” she commented. You managed a small smile through the throbbing pain, “well, it was definitely a lizard, and it was pretty big! It was scaly and green, but it didn’t breathe fire” you replied to Kate’s million and one questions.
"Noted!" Kate said, pulling out her phone. "Okay, so green, scaly, big. Let's get some intel. We can start looking at the city's sewer maps, see if there’s anything unusual down there”
You nodded, leaning back into the soft cushions of the couch. The adrenaline was finally starting to wear off, leaving you with exhaustion. “Thank you, both of you” you whispered, closing your eyes.
“Get some rest” Yelena suggested, “Kate and I will be in the living room if you need anything” she added, jesting to Kate to leave the room with her. “Yeah! We’ll get a head start on trying to find the lizard” Kate replied.
“No, Bishop, we’ll start that in the morning” Yelena slightly shook her head.
You drifted off to sleep to the light sounds of the couple bickering, Kate excited to see the lizard in the flesh while Yelena shut down all the ridiculous theories Kate came up with. The thought that you had two friends who would drop everything to patch you up and hunt down a mutant lizard gave you an overwhelming sense of peace. You knew that the next time you faced that lizard, you'd be ready. Together.

Miguel ohara x spiderwoman/single mom reader, where she brings her baby to work at the spider society
Ooooh yes yes yes. I thrive on dad!Miguel so this is amazing.
Miguel x Spider-Woman W/ a Baby
CW: Fluff, dad!Miguel, reader has a baby, Mig is a little tough at first but don’t worry slight angst cuz of Gabi
I had to ask my mom some stuff cuz… I don’t know shit about babies… also I might have projected a little towards the end don’t mind me…
Part two
It’s not uncommon for spider-people to bring their children to the spider society. Hell, that’s what the day passes are for. Peter B started the trend with Mayday, and after that many spiders wanted to bring their little ones too.
Today you were no different, deciding to bring your baby girl, Alice, to the society. You knew of all places in the multiverse she’d be the safest here. A few folks were surprised to see you with the baby, some cooing and saying she’s adorable, but most kept to themselves.
You headed to the boss’s office, grabbing a coffee from the cafeteria along the way. You needed to make sure you weren’t assigned any missions today. As you walked in, Miguel turned to you to see what you needed, a familiar frown settling on his face when he saw your baby.
He had never liked all the spider people bringing their children. I mean, who would after what he’s been through. Peter seemed to love torturing him with Mayday constantly, but Miguel would never admit it hurt. You noticed the look and chose to keep some distance.
After a few seconds you spoke. “Hey, Miguel, I was just popping in to ask if I have any missions today?”
“Actually…” He turns to one of his screens. “You just got one. In an hour.”
“What? I can’t do a mission today, I have my daughter with me.”
“That’s not my problem.” Miguel doesn’t turn to look at you again. You huff and look around the room while debating what you should do, Alice cooing a little and looking around the unfamiliar room as well.
“Maybe… you could watch her?”
Miguel groaned a little. “Me? Why me?”
“Well I trust you’d keep her safe, boss. And she seems to like you.” You gesture to Alice making the cutest grabby hands at the big scary man. That makes Miguel’s hard outer shell crumble a little, images of his daughter flashing in his mind.
“Hm… how long…?”
“However long the mission is.” You smiled.
Miguel sighed. “Fine… fine… leave her with me…” He lowered his platform more and got down, holding his arms out to take the baby. You carefully handed off the baby to him, and he holds her expertly. He knew what he was doing.
You smiled up at him, a slight blush on your cheeks. “Thank you so much, Miguel.” Alice giggled and cooed at Miguel, waving her little hands at him. All he did was nod to you as a response, his eyes on the baby. You give her a gentle kiss to the forehead before heading off to get ready for your mission.
———
After the mission
———
You returned from your surprisingly easy mission, heading straight for Miguel’s office to retrieve your baby. When you walk in you see Miguel on his platform, holding Alice against his shoulder. He’s gently bouncing her and singing in Spanish, lulling her to sleep. You couldn’t help but smile at the sight.
Miguel notices you and placed a finger to his lips, telling you to stay quiet. Once the baby was asleep he spoke in a very quiet whisper.
“You we’re gone longer than I thought you’d be, y/n. Run into any trouble?”
You shook your head no. “The mission was pretty easy, surprisingly.”
“That’s good. Wouldn’t want anything to happen to Alice’s mami.” His eyes were still on your baby, hand on her back as he continued to gently rock and bounce her as she slept so peacefully.
You look up at Miguel. “You make a lovely dad.” He froze for a moment and looked at you.
“Really…?” Is all he said. Your smile grew and you nodded. The corners of his mouth slowly turned up, and for the first time since you’ve known him, Miguel smiled. A real genuine smile.
You swing up to his platform and place a gentle hand on his free shoulder. He glanced at your hand, a little confused by the gesture. There’s a slight blush on his cheeks, and you could tell you finally cracked through those walls he had put up.
“I’m sure her father wouldn’t enjoy this.” He tried to pull away from you, tried to put his walls back up.
You shook your head again. “Her father isn’t in the picture…”
“Really? What kind of father would abandon his daughter?” His red eyes almost seem to glow as anger fills him. He couldn’t imagine a dad causing harm, mentally or otherwise, to his own child. The thought made him sick, made him want to hunt down your ex and-
“Hey.” Your voice snapped him out of his thoughts. “Don’t worry about it. She’ll have you…” You gave him a gentle smile. Miguel was surprised at that, but it made him happy. He loved the idea of being in Alice’s life more, of being a father figure to her.
“Would you… perhaps like to get dinner later?” Miguel looked into your eyes, and you could see the anger dissipating, being replaced with love.
“I’d love that.” You lean up and give him a gentle kiss on the cheek.

Hey! I was wondering if you could maybe do a Gwen x female (or gender neutral) reader’s first kiss? They’re not officially dating but they both have rather clear feelings for each other. Gwen maybe saves reader from a petty street crime and they share the iconic Spiderman kiss. The reader doesn’t blatantly know that Gwen is Spiderwoman, but they have a gut feeling, as Gwen also has a gut feeling they may already know.
˚‧⁺.-"Kiss me again - he says, drunk and foolish - Kiss me until I am sick of it"
↳ summary: basically, spiderman iconic kiss with Gwen
↳ characters: Gwen Stacy
↳ Gn! Reader
↳ notes: I would with fem reader, but nothing in that work would make that fact explicit, so I titled it gn (which can also be seen as fem), hope you don't mind.
Gwen's heart fluttered when she saw you being mugged. No way was she going to let you get hurt. You were too important to her.
You were paralyzed. Being mugged in a desert street in the big city was not something you used to do, of course you would be scared. The gun was pointed at your face while the thug stared at you with a scary look while another man, presumably his henchman, looked you up and down with a smirk you thought could swallow you whole. And a third man watching the surroundings, ready to warn the others at any sign of the police. The man who had the gun pointed at you looked like some kind of bodyguard for some rich rapper who performs in bars every Friday: gold teeth, tattoos, piercings and such.
Gwen was having a snack until she saw you being mugged in a nearby deserted street. She didn't let herself think long before quickly stepping in and jumping next to the bandits. When she realized that she didn't even bother to put the mask on before jumping in front of you, it was too late to go back and get it, she would have to do it quickly so that no one saw her face.
She was grateful for the darkness of the street when got into a quick melee and threw the thugs away in a dumpster in front of a building, knocking them unconscious. Before you could even process it properly and go after her to thank her, she'd ducked into a nearby alley as quickly as she'd appeared to save you.
You wasted no time in following her, but were disappointed when you couldn't find her. A little frustrated, you turned to resume your walk home, to find the spiderwoman hanging upside down in front of you.
She cleared her throat before speaking in an unnaturally deep voice. "Are you all right, dear citizen?"
You jumped a little in surprise when you saw her before speaking. You really didn't expect her to come back to check on you after saving you. After recovering from the surprise, you started talking. "Uh...-? Of course, I'm fine thanks to you. We've been seeing each other a lot these past few days, you made a point of helping me just across the street this weekend. Do I have a superhero stalker?"
Unknown to you, Gwen smiled beneath her mask and replied in a confident tone. "I was in the neighborhood."
You smiled and took a moment to sigh and admire the figure hanging in front of you. "You're amazing."
"Some people don't think so." She just shook her head and spoke, again using her unnatural low voice.
You didn't say anything, just held your hands out until they hovered over the top of the mask around her neck. "...What?" She asked with a tone of doubt, but without making the slightest effort to stop you.
You withdrew your hands a little, until it took you a while to resume your action. You slowly extended your hands until they hovered over the top of her mask around her neck again upon seeing the, as yet unknown to you, blonde's non-existent attempts to stop you. Still slowly, you pulled your mask up to her nose, to see a strangely familiar gap between the teeth in the superheroine's half opened mouth, and rested your hands on her cheeks.
Without much delay, you kissed her.
She felt herself magically melting into your kiss. Her heart was beating too fast, and her cheeks were burning. At this point, she was thanking whatever god there was that part of her cheeks was still covered, so you wouldn't see the blushing mess you made of her. If the kiss wasn't enough, she was now all too aware of your soft hands resting on her cheeks. She found herself having to resist the urge to relax against your touch right there. She felt in heaven, kissing her crush did wonders for her. The looks exchanged, and the laughter shared during the common lessons at school seemed a distant delusion in her mind now. All that mattered was that she was kissing her crush at this very moment.
The poor girl wanted this moment to last forever, but the need to breathe soon came and you had to part ways. As soon as you pulled away, she saw your breathless appearance and flushed cheeks, and smiled when you adjusted her mask correctly.
"So, my favorite citizen, wants me to walk you home?"

Secret
Pairing : Miguel O' Hara X Reader
Genre : fluff
Summary : Miguel and you are in a secret relationship, yet sometimes he can’t help but snap when he feels slightly jealous
Request/idea by: Anon requested Miguel with a reader who has the same spider powers and fluff : )
Wordcount: 1.2k
Miguel O’Hara Masterlist
Miguel is in his lair, as he often is. Eyes set of the many holographic screens in front of him. Currently though, he's more focused on leading a mission.
He's sent out a team he's a little less familiar with. A Peter Parker (Spiderman), Flash thompson (or Agent Venom, as he likes to refer to) and Y/N L/N (Spiderwoman 2012). The only person he's familiar with is Y/N. You've got similar powers to his, the only difference being the color of your suit ( black and red). The two of you have sparred a few times before. Originally he had been afraid to hurt you, but you turned out to be a lot fiercer than expected.
Truth to be told, he likes you. A lot. And thankfully, you like him as well. However, not wanting everyone to know, you've asked to keep your relationship secret. He had agreed, thinking it would be for the best as well.
However, since he met agent Venom, he's regretted doing so. Sometimes he even regrets asking him to join the team.
you and Flash are close. Your laid back personality making it easy for everyone to talk to you. Flash is more of a no-brainer. He's more about physical strength than actually thinking of a plan. Originally Miguel had thought of him as useless, but he follows orders without question.
Currently, they're chasing after a loose Doc Ock, and are close to rounding the mission up.
" Peter, watch your left flank, you've got incoming!" Your voice sounds over Miguel's ear piece.
And right on time it seems, thanks to your warning, Peter is able to avoid a pointy tentacle.
" Woah, thanks Y/N!"
He watches as Doc Ock now goes for you. You react quickly, using your claws to cut off the tentacle that was aimed for your face.
Miguel smiles the slightest bit at your move. It was one that he had taught you during training.
" Okay, I have a plan. Y/N distract it for a good while in a circle. Peter and Flash, you web him up. After that Peter should electrocute him so you can wrap it up." Miguel instructs the team.
They all give a response of confirmation, before setting his plan in action. Unlike Miguel, you didn't work out much, and due to the less mass, you're a lot quicker, avoiding Doc Ock's aims whilst he keeps aiming for you. Peter and Flash manage to do as instructed as well. The two of them web his tentacles together in a way that doesn't directly make the man aware, until it's too late, and he tumbles down, tentacles twisted and wrapped together. DocOck grunts as he falls harshly. The three spiders swing down in front of him, proud smiles and smirks on their faces.
" You just wait, Spiderman!-" Doc Ock starts, before you web his mouth up.
You don't say anything, but hold your hands up for a high five from both your teammates. They do so easily.
" Well done team!" Peter says, smile evident in his voice.
" Okay. That's it guys, bring him in." Miguel's stoic voice sounds through once more.
-
It doesn't take long before the three of you are back at HQ, with Doc Ock between the other variants downstairs.
The three of you are in Miguel's office currently.
" Woah, did you see that Miguel? We totally nailed it!" Flash beams enthusiastically, not realizing the boss is quite aware of that already.
" Yes Flash, I kno-"
" Did you see how Y/N and I worked together? That was amazing! I knew we would be as great in the field as we are off the field."
Miguel's jaw ticks. To Peter, he probably seems annoyed by Flash. To Flash he probably just seems tired, but you know better. You know Miguel hates it when the other spider people tend to ship you with Flash. Something that happens more often because of the game nights the lot of them sometimes organize and partake in.
You raise a brow.
" It was a team effort, Flash. We couldn't have done it without Peter. And Miguel's plan is what put it all together. It really was a team effort." You point out, arms crossed over your chest.
" Yeah, but still-!"
" I've had enough of your nonsense Flash, get out." Miguel huffs.
" Awe c'mon boss, you've got to admit it-!"
" No. Now leave."
Miguel gives Flash that cold, angry look. That along with his tall posture, gives Flash a clear message; Miguel needs space.
" Oh, right then. We'll go." Flash says with a smile, turning and grabbing you by the wrist to take you with to the cafeteria.
" Leave Y/N here, I got some stuff to talk with her about. " He says, a tired tone in his voice.
He shoos Peter away as well, who gives you a pat on your shoulder as he walks out. Flash gives you a wave aswell, before sprinting off to whoever knows where.
" So, you got stuff you want to talk about?" You say with a knowing smile.
He rolls his eyes, before pushing off the table (desk?) he was leaning on and stepping of the platform. He shoots a web at you, the neon material sticking to your suit as he pulls you close with it. His hands rest on your waist, keeping you as close as he can now that the other two are out.
" God, do I hate flash." He complains.
You grin, placing your hands on his upper arms.
" I know."
" Should I fire him? I think I should." He mumbles, meant probably mostly for himself.
You laugh.
He can feel his tense posture slacking with the sound of it.
" Don't fire him. He's fun to hangout with-"
" Are you shipping yourself with him now?-"
" No! Absolutely not. He's still my friend though." You cock your head at him.
Miguel knows he's a goner when you look at him like that with those pretty eyes of yours.
" He's brainless."
" That's fine, he's not important." You point out to him.
His lips tilt into a small smirk.
" Good. Now kiss me-"
He's cut off as you place your lips on his, hands moving from his arms to spread out over his chest, his own moving from your waist to your hips. His lips move passionately with yours, fitting together like pieces of a puzzle. When you eventually pull away to breath, he tries to follow you. You giggle as he does so.
" Te amo." He whispers softly, moving a stray hair from your face.
You smile at him.
" You know I don't speak spanish, Iguel'." You pout.
He knows. For now he's too afraid to tell you exactly what it means.
[ A/N: My requests are currently empty but I still want to write more, anyone has any ideas/requests they're willing to share with me? ]

Request (headcanons): Hobie Brown with a Reader who's basically his adopted little sister? Reader is quiet, imaginative and surprisingly chaotic/non-conformative but also clumsy at times. She was the Spiderwoman of her AU, but her parents kicked her out of home due to fear, and Reader had nowhere to stay, so she ended up joining the Spider Society. Reader likes movies, video games and music.
Thank you in advance, love your writing
Hobie Brown x younger adopted sister!reader
Hobie immediately took you under his wing when you joined the Spider Society
He knew what it was like to be treated as an outcast for doing the right thing, and seeing how young and lost you were, he felt a natural instinct to look out for you
From that point on, he was your self-appointed big brother
Your non-conformist attitude and tendency toward chaos endeared you to him right away
You may be quiet, but your rebellious spirit speaks volumes
Whether it’s disrupting a boring meeting at HQ or graffitiing messages on walls during missions, Hobie’s always impressed by your creative take on sticking it to the man
He’s fiercely protective of you, especially after finding out about your parents kicking you out
If he ever hears anyone badmouthing you or making snide comments about your clumsy nature, he’ll step in with a grin and a sharp retort, making sure they don’t mess with you again
Hobie loves introducing you to new music and frequently takes you to underground shows in his world
He’ll make you a mixtape with all his favorite tracks, scrawling cheeky notes on the tape cover
You return the favor by suggesting some of your favorite video game soundtracks or movie scores
Hobie absolutely loves your imaginative side
He’ll sit and listen while you tell him about some movie idea you’ve been dreaming up, or your latest thoughts on a video game plot
He’s always enthusiastic about your ideas and will even help you workshop them if you want
You may be a bit clumsy, but Hobie finds it endearing
He likes to joke that the two of you are a “walking disaster” in the best way
Since you were a Spiderwoman in your original universe, Hobie recognizes your skills but also helps you refine them
He’s a great mentor, showing you tricks and techniques to incorporate your own style into your fighting
He never makes you feel inadequate for stumbling or making mistakes—just brushes it off with a “Let’s try that again.”
Whenever the Spider Society gets too stuffy, he’ll take you on “field trips” to various dimensions
Whether it’s some punk concert in a graffiti-covered warehouse or a hidden café with amazing coffee, he knows all the best spots across the multiverse
Hobie might not be as big on movies as you, but he enjoys your enthusiasm for them
He’ll sit through marathons of your favorite films, occasionally cracking jokes or pointing out flaws in the plot
If you’re feeling down, he’ll grab your favorite snacks and put on whatever film you’ve been raving about lately
Despite his laid-back attitude, Hobie’s always willing to give you heartfelt advice
When it comes to navigating tough situations—whether it’s dealing with your past or figuring out how to handle a problem in the Spider Society—he’s got your back
You and Hobie like to make things in your downtime, from tinkering with gadgets to making DIY merch for his band
The two of you enjoy working with your hands, and it gives you another way to express your chaotic creativity
He’s always calling you cheeky nicknames like “short stuff,” “trouble,” or “little spider.”
There’s a lot of teasing involved, but you know it’s his way of showing he cares
Plus, it’s kind of comforting to have someone who treats you like a real sibling
When you’re missing your world or feeling lonely, Hobie’s the one who helps you process those emotions
He never dismisses your pain and listens without judgment
Sometimes, he’ll share stories from his own life to make you feel less alone, reminding you that “family doesn’t always mean blood.”
You and Hobie have become quite the team when it comes to missions
He loves how unpredictable your fighting style is, even if it’s partly due to your clumsy nature
After a rough mission or a bad day, you can always count on Hobie to be there for you
He’ll let you crash at his place, and you’ll both end up on the sofa, talking about everything and nothing until you eventually fall asleep
He’s not the “hug and comfort” type, but he’ll still put an arm around your shoulder and ruffle your hair to remind you that you’re not alone

Another one?! Ugh, I get bored at work, okay?!
Ugh! While re-reading this the night before publishing it, I got an idea for a scene where reader ties Miguel up with her webs?!! And he just lets her?!! Ugh, even when he's submissive, he's still dominant 🥲.
BONUS
(AU with Scientist!Miguel x Spiderwoman!reader)
Warnings: explicit descriptions of sex.
----------------------------------------------------------
He paced back and forth in front of the balcony, his heart rate getting quicker with every second that passed. Where was she? Why wasn’t she back yet? She was supposed to have been there- He paused to check his watch … Seventeen seconds ago! Then finally, X stumbled through the doorway, collapsing into his arms. Miguel glared down at her, furious, but his anger melted away when she flashed him a sheepish smile - he’d always been a sucker for her smile. He slid his arms around her waist and helped guide her to her bedroom. “Arañita, I told yo-”
“To be more careful!” she finished, imitating his berating tone. “You’re too reckless. You need to pay more attention to your surroundings and stop being so arrogant all the time! But that’s what I’ve got you for.” They stopped outside the bathroom and she turned to face him, her expression soft as she gazed up at him. They’d been doing this for almost six months now and he was still as protective as the very first time. She slid her hand up his arm and her breath caught in her throat as her fingers glided over the curve of his muscular bicep. She’d never thought that the boss she’d admired and respected for so long would have been the first to discover her secret - and the first to volunteer to be her backup. But, God, was she grateful that it had been him in the end. She squeezed his shoulder, allowing herself a moment to take in his chiselled features. Then she sighed and walked into the bathroom.
He swallowed hard and tried to regain control of his thoughts: they were just … co-workers, after all - ‘friends’ if he allowed himself a little more intimacy. Which he most definitely shouldn’t. No matter how amazing and wonderful and intelligent she might have been. He clenched and unclenched his fists, trying to shake away the lingering feeling of her perfect curves between his fingers. Then he cleared his throat and called through the door, “be careful with that cut! Make sure you clean it properly.”
“So you can give me the healing potion?” She snickered as the soft sound of his groan floated through the door - most definitely accompanied by an irritated eye roll. Her chest tingled at the thought of him being so concerned for her safety. “Gracias, querido. (Thank you, darling.)”
He gulped again at the term of affection - at the playfulness in her tone as she said it. He rolled his shoulders a few times, trying to dissipate the heat that had gathered in his body, then he turned to go get the ‘healing potion’.
He perched on the edge of her bed, fidgeting with the syringe as he waited for her to finish showering. Her bedroom was just as cute as her - the walls a soft lavender colour, fluffy carpets and pillows scattered all around, pictures of her family and friends neatly arranged across the walls. His lips curled gently as his eyes travelled over the images of her smiling and laughing. She really was so pretty.
“Miguel? Did I clean it all right?”
He shook himself out of his reverie as she walked out of the bathroom, re-focusing his thoughts. But then his gaze landed on her and his heart stopped in his chest. She was wearing a towel - just a towel. His eyes followed the strands of her damp curls to the tanned skin of her shoulders, then further down to the ample curve of her chest. He swallowed hard as his eyes drifted lower, the blood rushing to his core and causing his abdomen to tighten. Then he shot to his feet quickly and clenched his fists, trying to calm the adrenaline rushing through his body. He opened his mouth to tell her to sit down, but no words came out, so he just gestured silently to the bed instead.
She walked over to the bed, trying to bite down on her smile: she loved it whenever she managed to make him flustered like this. He was just so freakin’ handsome, she'd never thought that anything about her could have ever made him feel nervous! She sat down and gathered her hair over her shoulder, letting her towel drop down to her waist as she stretched her body out. Then she twisted her head back just enough for him to see the mischievous expression on her face.
It took him a minute, but he finally managed to drag his gaze away from her bare back, focusing instead on the cut on her shoulder. He grunted in irritation at the sight of her injury and she snickered at the sound. He sank back down onto the bed and adjusted his position to get a good angle at which to pierce her skin - but also so that she couldn't feel how hard he'd gotten at the sight of her practically naked before him. Mierda, he was screwed. X sucked in a breath as he injected the liquid into her, still unused to the little sting that accompanied it every time. And now he could feel himself start throbbing at the way her back arched and her toes - dangling off the bed - curled in discomfort. His mouth filled with saliva and his fingers twitched with the need to brush her soft skin.
She could feel every muscle in his body clenched tight with restraint. So she shuffled back slightly, brushing her ass against his already stiff cock, then she let out a soft sigh at the feeling. “Miguel …”
Ay, mierda, the way she whined his name? He was sure she could feel his heart pounding in his chest as she pressed herself against him and tilted her head back to brush her lips along the underside of his jaw. F*ck.
“Miguel?” she repeated before licking and sucking on him softly, her tongue tracing little circles around his skin before her lips closed around the same spot. “Mmm, Miguel …”
A soft giggle escaped her lips as she moaned his name and he felt his entire body tighten at the sound.
“Ara … Arañita …” he whispered hoarsely. She pulled on his skin with her teeth, delighting in the helplessness in his voice, and he muttered a curse as his fingers twisted themselves into the bedsheets. Then finally, she pulled away from him.
He exhaled slowly, thinking that he could finally relax without her delicious little body so tantalisingly close to his. But then she tossed her towel aside and turned around to face him, her perfect little body completely exposed to him now. He let out a choked gasp as his tip began leaking at the sight of her, his eyes roving all over the smooth curves of her breasts and waist, then he dragged his gaze back up to hers.
She flashed him a lazy smirk as she noticed the way his pupils had dilated to take her in. Then she moved to straddle his lap, her arms coming around his neck as she pressed her body against his.
He sucked in a breath, leaning back on his hands so he wouldn’t touch her. But she didn’t seem to care. She brought her lips close to his, prompting his heart to start pounding in his chest … but then she turned her head to plant a kiss to the corner of his mouth instead.
She trailed her lips along his jaw and down the side of his neck, her fingers moving to undo the buttons of his shirt. She sighed when she felt the hard lines of his abs beneath her fingers, then sat back so she could admire his perfectly sculpted torso. God, he was hot. She slid her hands along his body and he shivered at the feeling, his helplessness causing her p*ssy to contract in response. She moved her hand to his cheek and waited for his eyes to flutter open again, his dark lashes so pretty against his cheeks, then she smiled and touched her lips lightly to his. She slid her fingers into his hair and tugged his head to hers, finally closing the distance between them, then she moaned as their tongues brushed against one another’s. He tasted … minty. Sharp and tangy and so wonderfully delicious. She wrapped her arms around his neck and began grinding her hips against his, her every movement slow and controlled: she’d dreamed about this moment so many times before, she wanted it to be absolutely perfect.
F*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck! ¡Ay, p*tas! She was so beautiful and so soft and he wanted nothing more than to flip her over and pin her down onto her bed as he worshipped her body in exactly the way he did in his dreams every night. But she was his subordinate - his friend - and he couldn't f*ck up their relationship like he'd done every other relationship his entire life. “Princesa …”
Her entire body shuddered at the way he sighed the word and Miguel murmured another curse against her lips before shrugging his sleeves off and finally sliding his hands around her waist. F*ck, she was perfect - even better than he’d ever imagined. He dragged his fingernails down her back as he deepened their kiss, frustrated by the way she kept teasing him with each painfully slow swirl of her tongue.
“Mmm … Mmph!” X yelped into his mouth as he squeezed her ass, his fingers digging into her soft flesh appreciatively. Miguel released his grip on her to stroke her back gently and a stream of arousal trickled out of her at the feeling of being pressed up against his hard muscles. She ran her hands down his chest, her lips never leaving his as she let her hands drift down his body to the waistband of his trousers. She moved her mouth to his jaw once she'd undone his zip, then she slipped her hand into his underwear to take hold of him.
“Ay, p*tas,” Miguel breathed, his stomach tightening at the feeling of her squeezing and stroking his shaft. “Arañita …”
She nipped his earlobe before returning her mouth to his, her tongue swirling against his in exactly the same way her thumb circled his tip so that he couldn't tell which was which anymore. He growled and grabbed her ass again, squeezing her against him as he kissed her hungrily.
She let out another squeak as he pulled her to him, then slid her free hand up to his cheek, slowing down the intensity of his movements. She ran her hand back down to his chest when he’d calmed down again, then let go of his cock to tug on the waistband of his trousers.
“Miguel … Take it off, cariño,” X begged in between desperate kisses. “¿Por favor? ¿Para mí, querido? ¿Para tu … Para tu pequeña … arañita … hermosa? (Please? For me, darling? For your ... For your ... tiny ... pretty little spider? ”
Miguel sucked in a breath at her irresistible pleas, his hands kneading her ass and grinding her against him. Ay, p*tas, she was so … so f*cking … delicious …
She pulled her lips away from his and sat back on the mattress so she could start pulling his pants off. Miguel lifted himself off his seat, letting her lower his trousers, but then he stopped suddenly, placing a hand over hers.
“Wait,” he panted, trying to wrestle back control of his thoughts. “Wait.”
X pouted up at him, confused as to why he’d suddenly stopped.
F*ck, she was pretty! But he had to focus! He cleared his throat and shuffled back slightly, causing her hands to fall away from his trousers. “X, I … I don’t … I don’t want to hurt you.”
His voice was soft as he said it - scared - so she gave him a soft smile to try to get him to relax. “You could never hurt me, querido.”
A wave of arousal hit him as he watched her lean forward on her hands, her curly hair tumbling over her shoulders as she fixed him with a sweet smile. His insides heated up in excitement, so he clenched his muscles and snatched his gaze away.
“I …” He moved further away from her and cleared his throat again as he tried to gather his thoughts. “I need you.”
He slid his gaze over to her and her smile stretched wider as she crawled back over to him. “And I need y-”
“No.” He stopped her again, turning his body away from hers, and she sat back on her thighs, puzzled. “No, I … I mean, I … I want to, but … but I’m just scared that …”
He shook his leg as he fidgeted with his fingers, trying to figure out how to phrase it. Finally, he inhaled deeply. “I need you … in my life … as … always. I just … I want you … always. And I know that’s … selfish of me, but … I’m not good at … ‘always’. I never have been.”
Her heart swelled at the revelation that this was why he’d stopped her. She hadn’t thought it possible to fall harder for him than she already had … but here she was.
“We’ll figure it out, Miguel,” she reassured him, reaching out to rub his shoulder in comfort. But he twisted out of her grip and sighed, frustrated.
“How?!”
She shuffled back towards him and cupped his face in her hand, letting her eyes trail over his dejected features. He was so cute like this; full lips pushed out in a pout, copper eyes wide as they looked at her, a loose strand of his chocolate hair falling over his forehead. God, she loved him.
“Well, first, you’ll tell me when you feel like this. Just like you’re doing now.” She watched her finger trail its way down his chest, taking its time to trace the defined outlines of his muscles. “And we’ll work on it. ‘Always’ doesn’t just happen, Miguel - we have to choose to work on it. Everyday.”
Her fingers continued their languorous movements across his torso and he found himself relaxing at how easy she made it seem. He raised his hand to her cheek and stroked his thumb across her soft skin, in awe of how amazing she was. She was so sweet and so patient and so f*cking perfect. He’d really have to put in all his effort if he wanted to keep her in his life, always. He leaned forward, his eyes darkening as they fixed themselves on her lips. But then he stopped just when their lips brushed, another concern taking over his brain. “Wait.”
X let out a frustrated groan and glared at him, her pretty eyes making it hard for him to take her seriously. “What?!”
Miguel dropped his hand back to his side, far away from her deliciously soft little body. Seriously, what the f*ck was wrong with him?! Why the hell did he keep denying himself what he’d ached for for so long?! “What about your job?”
X sighed dramatically and shot him a questioning look, waiting for him to elaborate.
“I’m your boss, X!” Miguel pointed out, his jaw dropping with disbelief at her lack of seriousness. “What would people say if they found out?”
“They won’t find out.” She jumped forward suddenly, her arms coming firmly around his neck as she settled herself back on his lap. Miguel’s eyes widened in surprise and he tugged her arms, trying to pry them off of him.
“Arañita, I’m serious!” he insisted, his movements only causing her to curl herself tighter around him.
“¡Mi también, cariño! (Me too, sweetheart!)” Her words were muffled by where she’d buried her face in the crook of his neck and Miguel finally sat back, surrendering to her super strength.
“I’m not going to jeopardise your future, princesa,” he sighed softly. “This is me trying to make ‘always’ work.”
X straightened, biting down on the proud smile that sprang to her lips at his words.
“Okay,” she relented. “I’ll quit if it really bothers you.”
A horrified expression took over Miguel’s features as her casual declaration. She’d quit?! Just like that?! She couldn’t be serious! But the resolute expression on her face said otherwise. “But you love your job!”
She paused before responding, but her voice was calm when she next spoke; firm. “But I love you more.”
His heart did a three-hundred-and-sixty degree flip at her retort. X grinned.
“You’re so beautiful when you smile, Miguel.” He lowered his head, suddenly noticing the stretch in his cheeks.
“‘B-Beautiful?” he repeated shyly before snickering at the praise. X tilted his face back up to hers, her smile gentle.
“Handsome,” she corrected. “Mi araña hermoso. (My handsome spider.)”
He curled his fingers around her waist, still smiling widely at her, then leaned forward, wanting desperately to lick up the sweet taste of her again. But again, he stopped just before they could kiss. “But you can’t just quit your job like that, arañita.”
“Ugh!” Her head fell back as she let out a loud groan. Then she returned her gaze to his, utterly fed-up with his constant interruptions. “Can we … Can we just deal with it tomorrow?!”
She punctuated her words with light slaps to his brawny shoulder. “We already agreed to be in a relationship, Miguel! So can we get to the ‘relationship’ part already?!”
She gestured to the rest of her bed, the unblemished sheets just waiting for him to take her on them, and he chuckled at her impatience. Then he flipped her over without warning, trapping her beneath exactly as he’d imagined. He brought his mouth close to hers, but continued to maintain a sliver of distance between them, moving his head back every time she lifted hers up. “Is this what you wanted, querida?”
He smirked down at her and she inhaled deeply as her stomach began trying to break the world record for number of flips down in a row. God, he was hot. She glided her hands from his shoulders to the back of his neck, tugging his head down to force his lips against hers. She curled her legs around his waist and moaned as he ground his hips against hers, prompting her back to arch off the bed so her chest pressed up against his.
He groaned at the delicious feeling of her soft breasts squishing against his pectorals, then he pulled his lips away from hers and lowered his mouth to the crook of her neck instead. “Mmm, arañita …”
Her body contracted again at the sound of his voice - at the feeling of his warm breath tickling her skin - and she buried her fingers back in his silky waves. Miguel lifted his head to meet her gaze, his hips still moving slowly against hers, then he pressed his lips back to hers.
X moaned into his mouth as she kissed him back, her legs and hands sliding all along his back and ass. She pinched the waistband of his trousers with her toes, then started pushing them down his legs. Miguel reached down and shoved his pants off with one hand, the other still holding him above her so he could continue kissing her. Mierda, she was amazing.
She smiled at how frenzied his movements had become and pushed her hips up against his, enjoying the feeling of his body against hers. God, he felt good. And he wasn’t even inside her yet! She dragged her fingernails down his back and nipped his lower lip as she squeezed his ass.
“F*ck,” Miguel breathed, his hips pressing down on hers in response to her teasing. X snickered softly at his muttered curse.
“You have such a cute ass, Miguel.”
He chuckled at her proclamation and pressed his lips back to hers, the vibrations rumbling out of his chest causing her to shiver in response.
“Trust me, querida,” he assured her smoothly, “you’re going to enjoy the other side of me much more.”
He brushed his tongue against hers and she whimpered as his hand made its way up to her breast. He cupped her gently, squeezing her and flicking his thumb across her nipple, and she let out a squeak before reaching down to take hold of his cock. He groaned as she circled her hole with his tip, wetting him with her c*m before guiding him to her entrance, and she sighed as he began dipping himself in and out of her, teasing her. She shifted her hips, pulling him deeper into her, then she reached down and wrapped her fingers around his sack.
“¡Ay, p*tas!” Miguel sighed as she began stroking and squeezing his balls, unable to stop himself from sinking deeper into her warm embrace. Santo cielo, she felt good.
“Nngrh!” X gripped his shoulders as he rolled his hips against hers, his cock brushing against her walls as her body moved in tandem with his. “Wait! Wait.”
He pushed himself up, fixing her with a quizzical look and she pawed at his chest while trying to twist herself around onto her stomach.
“I want … I want to feel you from the back,” she told him, wiggling her butt at him and waiting for him to enter her again. “Fill me up, querido.”
His heart fluttered at her naughty words - at the way she'd laid herself out so nicely for him - and he lowered himself to the bed to nip her ankle. “Mmm … Mierda, arañita. You don't know how many times I've imagined doing this to you.”
She snickered at his confession, then let out a contented moan as he made his way up her leg, kissing and biting her soft flesh. “Fantasising about your underling at work, Dr O'Hara? How unprofessional!”
She gave an exaggerated gasp and Miguel chuckled softly as he slid his hands beneath her thighs, lifting her up enough for him to bury his face in her ass. “Mmm, and how many ‘unprofessional’ thoughts has my ‘underling’ being having about me at work? Do you fantasise about your boss, cariño?”
She opened her mouth to reply, but then he started licking and sucking her back entrance and her brain turned dizzy with arousal. “Nngrh! Mmph! Shit. I think … it would be e-e-easier … to count … how many … pr-r-r-rofessional … thoughts … I've had … about you … Dr O'Hara.”
He sat up after her confession, pulling her legs over his shoulders so that his mouth stayed glued to her ass. He continued to tease her with his tongue as he raised his thumb to her other entrance and pressed against her dripping hole, circling it painfully slowly. X cried out as she reached her climax, her body shaking so violently that he had to grab her to keep her from toppling over onto the bed. He set her legs back down once she’d come down from her high, then moved over her, his fingers sliding between hers and pinning her to the mattress. He grinded his cock against her ass, then lowered himself on top of her to murmur in her ear, “how many professional thoughts have you had about me, arañita?”
She curled her fingers as he dragged his tongue along the side of her neck. God, how could he call her that?! How could he refer to her as his little spider when she was so much more stronger than him? So much more powerful? He let out a low hum against her neck and she flopped onto the mattress as the vibrations of his voice travelled all the way up to her brain. Oh. That was how. Miguel chuckled softly at how helpless she’d become beneath him, then he pushed himself up so he could slide his hand along her body.
“I-I ... O-One? M-Maybe two?” she stammered out.
“Two?” Miguel repeated. X’s stomach flipped at his incredulous - but smooth - tone, then she let out a gasp as he drove his hips against hers. “You've had two professional thoughts about me in the six months that you've been working for me?” He pulled his hips back, lining up the tip of his cock with her soaked entrance, then he started easing himself into her.
“Nngrh …” X gripped onto the bed sheets as he entered her again, his movements slow and steady, his swollen shaft stroking her walls rhythmically. “God …”
Miguel lowered himself back on top of her, sliding himself even deeper into her as he did so. Dios, she felt good - so much better than he'd ever imagined, pumping himself into his hand every night like he was pumping himself into her. “Que arañita traviesa. (What a naughty little spider.)”
She didn’t respond and instead lifted her hips off the bed, pressing her ass against his abdomen and trying to take more of him into her. Holy shit, he felt amazing!
“F*ck. Princesa …” X whined at the term of affection and Miguel felt his brain go numb as a wave of arousal hit him. She continued pushing back against him, trying to arch her back so she could pull even more of his dick into her p*ssy. Miguel sighed and got on his hands and knees, curling himself around her when she pushed herself up too.
Oh, God. She was starting to get dizzy from the feeling of him all around her, his masculine scent clouding her senses, his sweat-slicked skin sticking to hers, his hard muscles pressing against her body. He picked up the speed of his movements and she momentarily lost consciousness at the way he filled her up so good. Then he let out a grunt and her brain turned numb again at the image of how effing sexy he must have looked; damp strands of his wavy hair falling into his eyes as he thrust himself into her, his sharpened canines sinking into his lower lip at how good she felt wrapped around him.
“M-Migue-el! ¡Q-Querido! ¡Hermoso!” she whined, waving a hand towards the bed frame. “G-Go … Go sit over there … Against the headboard.” Miguel chuckled at her command and X shivered at the low sound.
“So demanding, arañita.” He pushed himself all the way into her, his balls pressing against the backs of her thighs, his tip nudging her cervix ... then he pulled himself all the way back out and did as she said.
“Sh-sh-shit!” She let out a frustrated whine as she fell flat onto the mattress at the sudden absence of him. Then she pushed herself up and blew her hair out of her face, glaring up at him in irritation. But again, he just fixed her with that lazy smirk, his long legs spread out across the mattress, his stiff cock leaking prec*m as it waited for her to shower it with attention. She swallowed hard, then crawled on top of him and settled herself in his lap. “You're always in charge at work, Dr O'Hara. Why don't you let me take charge for once?”
He sat back and raised an eyebrow at her as she started grinding herself against him, his knowing smirk and loose grip on her waist letting her know that he was only allowing her the illusion of control. She bit her lip, then took hold of him to angle his tip to her entrance, letting herself sink back down onto his length.
“Sh-sh-shit,” she repeated, pitching forward drowsily. Miguel sucked in a breath as she welcomed him back into her warm and wet embrace, and dug his fingers into her sides to keep her upright against him. He kept his eyes fixed on her as she rolled her hips against his, his pupils blown wide at the blissful look she wore as she rode him at her own pace. Dios, she was beautiful.
She whimpered as he glided his hands all over her, stroking all her intimate bits like her body belonged to him. God, it was so hot! She wrapped her arms around his neck and slid her fingers into his hair, burying them in the soft strands. Then she tugged on his skin with her teeth, biting and licking her way up to his ear. “Mmm, shit, Miguel. Oh God. Oh wow. Holy shit, you're so hot. Eres muy perfecto, mi araña hermoso. (You're so perfect, my handsome spider.)”
She lifted her head to bring her lips back to his, then slid her tongue into his mouth. Miguel squeezed her waist as she let out a low groan, utterly satisfied by the way her clit pressed up against his abs as she arched her back. ¡Ay, coño, she was so f*cking sexy! Her head flopped over onto his chest and, though his fingers twitched with the desire to take charge of the situation, he held himself back, wanting to give her the chance to be in control. And Dios, it felt good, sitting back and enjoying the way she nipped his collarbone, her lips and tongue brushing across his skin as she rapidly made her way back up to his mouth.
She pulled back from him slightly and brushed her thumb across his lips, smiling at how dark his eyes had become as he helped her bounce up and down on his length. She let her thumb drift down to his throat, then leaned forward to brush her lips against his. “I love you, Miguel.”
He squeezed her ass as his cock jerked in response to her words. He was so close, so f*cking close to filling her up with his c*m. But he wanted to hold on for just a little longer - just long enough to see her come again before he relieved himself inside of her.
She tugged on his lower lip as she felt his excitement inside of her, then she started kissing him again, running her hands all over the muscular curves of his chest and shoulders and back. “Te amo tanto, mi grande araña fuerte. (I love you so much, my big and strong spider.)”
She clenched her muscles around him, squeezing his cock tightly, and together with her silly - but sweet - declaration, it was the final straw for him. He held her firmly against him as he came, going crazy for the way her body moved against his as she reached her climax too. ¡Ay, mierda! ¡Ay, Dios! He didn’t think he’d ever met someone so perfectly … perfect before.
She panted heavily once she’d finished, slumping over and letting herself relax against him.
“I didn't think it'd be so easy to get you to come, Dr O'Hara,” she admitted, sliding her hand up his chest and back into his hair. “Not even in my wildest fantasies about you.”
She tilted her head back to shoot him a mischievous smile - the one that always made his heart start racing - and he frowned down at her.
“Beginner's luck,” Miguel scoffed, flipping her back onto the bed and caging her with his body as he ran his hand along her soft curves. X shivered and gazed up at him with heavy eyelids, her expression teasing. Miguel growled at the sight. “Time for round two.”

spider-woman!ellie who would one hundred percent tell you she's spider-woman before she tells anyone else. she'd be super scared and nervous while she starts talking, but you had secretly known the entire time.
"i've been wanting to get something huge off my chest..." she'd start pacing around the room in her grey sweats and jacket, covering her red and blue suit. you know exactly what she's been wanting to tell you, but you wanted to her her say it. well until she started taking forever to get the words out her mouth. "i don't want you to think i'm crazy but... i'm-" "spider-woman." you'd finished as her eyes grew wide. "i've known for quite a while now."
spider-woman!ellie who wouldn't care that you've known all through your entire friendship. she's more than happy she didn't have to go through the suffering of explaining the entire thing. and if anything it made your "friendship" stronger.
spider-woman!ellie who would hate just calling you her friend. she'd want to swing around the city while you held onto her waist tightly. but with her and her intense bad guy fights, she couldn't risk losing you to any future villains, so she had to protect her feels from you.
spider-woman!ellie who would totally where her worn-down chucks while she was fighting crime. you'd catch her about to leave during a crime scene and just shake your head, staring at her shoes that are bearly hanging on.
she only wears them all the time because you would draw little spiderwebs and heart spiders all over the shoes. it makes her smile like crazy.
spider-woman!ellie who would be cocky as fuck while fighting villains but when it's just you and her out of her suit, she is the quietest and most reversed person ever. one moment she'd be like "got you now!" "what am I too fast for you?" to then a smiling mess in front of you.
spider-woman!ellie who would do just about anything to protect you. if you tried helping her track down a villain, she'd immediately turn down any ideas you brought up that included you being involved. you'd constantly ask why you can't help her and she'd end up confessing her love-sick feelings for you.
"ellie come on," you'd say for just about the tenth time. ellie was sitting in a chair across the room, refilling her web cartridges waiting for a villain call. "i can take full care of myself."
"no i can't risk you getting yourself hurt for me." ellie would mutter, not meeting your eyes. you'd roll your eyes at her response, as she turned away from you in the rolling chair. "why is it that you don't trust me? why is it that you constantly feel the need to protect me-"
"because i love you and every person i love in my life dies for me! and i don't want to lose the last person i care about to some silly villain chase. so no, you're not coming." she'd confess, as you stared blankly into her eyes. her watch would ding, making her tear her mask on, and swing out of your room, leaving the conversation completely unfinished.
spider-woman!ellie who wouldn't talk about the conversation for days. it would be on her mind for hours, but she couldn't risk breaking her friendship with you for her feelings. she'd stop swinging to your house before and after every fight making you want to just crawl into your own skin.

spider-woman!ellie who would finally grow the balls to finally talk to you after a huge fight that had her body tattooed in cuts. regardless of whether you guys were on speaking terms or not, she'd only want you to numb the pain and make her scars go away. you'd be scared shitless as she stumbles towards your window, ripping her mask off. you wouldn't even bring up the confession, you two had a week or two ago. you'd help her limp towards your bed, while she struggles out of the suit.
the air would be thick as you roam around your bathroom, trying to keep quiet. ellie would be lying in only her sports bra, watching you walk back into the room, carrying a first aid kit and a chocolate bar.
your eyes would linger on her exposed skin while you settled yourself on the end of the bed, handing her the bar. "here..." you'd mutter. "it'll ease the pain."
spider-woman!ellie who would think she didn't need the damn chocolate bar. she just needed you. she only needed you ever.
spider-woman!ellie who would whine and struggle out of your grasp as you run a wet towel along her stomach. your nose would scrunch at the pain you know your causing her, so you remove the towel, looking into her eyes. ellie's breathing would be heavy as you reposition yourself, sitting on her thigh.
you wouldn't stop looking at her eyes as you place the towel back on her wounded scar. she'd gunt at the instant contact, but her eyes wounded leave yours. "shhh." you'd hush her, looking back down at her exposed skin. "i know it hurts but just focus on me.."
spider-woman!ellie who would read the entire thing wrong. her eyes would meet down to look at you dressed in only a tank top and short pajama shorts. it was as if suddenly all the pain she'd been feeling vanished in seconds. her eyes remained on your face when you looked back up at her.
your hand removed from her bleeding wound and rested on her thigh while you guys held eye contact. you could feel your words cloud up in your throat when ellie leaned closer to your face.
spider-woman!ellie who would raise her hand to remove a strain of loose hair out your face, while her face moved closer to yours. your hands would trail up her body, stopping to rest on her chest. "your hands are so soft..." ellie muttered, closing her eyes at your light touch.
you couldn't help but let out a soft giggle, before turning back on your serious face when ellie opened her eyes, lips not too far from yours.
spider-woman!ellie who would jump from under you when two light knocks come from your locked bedroom door. you both turned toward the door before you'd climb off her thigh to open the door, where ellie wasn't in the frame.
"dad! hey is everything alright?" you'd say, looking back at ellie for a quick second before looking back at your dad. "yeah just thought i heard talking." he'd mutter, making the hairs on your skin shoot up. "anyways, your mother and i are headed to bed, you should probably do the same. good night."
you'd simply just nod your head, shut the door, and turn back to ellie, who is now standing by your bed. your eyebrows were drawn together as ellie stood there, the top half of her suit still unzipped.
spider-woman!ellie who would now feel embarrassed for showing up here at such an inappropriate time. she'd begin getting her mask and shoes back on and you'd stand across the room just watching her.
"what are you doing? you can't just go swing back outside. you're still bleeding." you'd say stepping back towards her.
"i shouldn't even came-" ellie stutters, but when you move to place a hand on her face, she immediately shuts up. you both fall silent just staring at each other.
spider-woman!ellie who would mutter a quick "fuck it" before smashing her lips against yours, making you let out a soft moan.
spider-woman!ellie who would smirk at the soft sounds you're making from her touch. she'd nudge you two back towards the bed, but yelp when you fall against her injured chest. you gasped and removed your lips quickly, lifting off her slightly. ellies head fell back onto the mattress laughing slightly, making you cover your mouth with your hand.
"oh my god, are you okay?!" you inquired, trying to lean off her, but ellie would wrap her hands around your hips, trapping you in place.
"i’m fine," she’d smile, looking at your face red with embarrassment. you'd hid your face into her neck, smiling. "but maybe we should take things a little slow, yeah?"
spider-woman!ellie who would clearly doesn't know what taking things slow means and no surprise to you, you don't either.
spider-woman!ellie who would swing by your house after every villain fight just to make out with you for hours after your first kiss. her suit would be unzipped, exposing her hard nipples poking out of her sports bra, while you remained fully clothed, rolling your hips slowly on her thigh.
you’d be in this position for what felt like forever before you’d try to take things to the next level, but ellie would quickly stop and make some silly excuse. "let’s wait til i take you out on a date." or "do you hear that?"
spider-woman!ellie who would insist on taking you swinging for your first date. you wanted to just go out to dinner and hang out back at your house, but when she convinces you to sing around the city then have a nice dinner on a high up building planned by non other than ellie williams, you can’t help but forget all about the boring dinner.
you guys chat for hours about anything, just enjoying each other’s presence before she’d swing you around once more.
spider-woman!ellie who would have her phone in her hands texting you mid battle. regardless of how much she could put herself in danger, she makes she to answer all your texts and calls.
"hey babe where are you right now?" you’d say then hear sirens and gun shots in the background. "ellie are you-" "nowhere babe! what’s up?”
spider-woman!ellie who would love doing the spiderman kiss with you regardless of where you were. you’d be walking down the street and shed pop out of nowhere upside down, tearing her mask up just above her mouth, ready for her kiss.
"you seriously need to stop popping up on me." you’d smile, stepping closer to her lips. ellie’s nose would scrunch in the cutest way before pressing her lips to yours. "i just miss you all the time."
spider-woman!ellie who would crawl into your arms just always wanting to feel you close because it tells her you are safe. she'd lay in your arms telling you about her day and the past bad guys she'd fought, while you rub her hair and tell her how much you love her.
spider-woman!ellie who would love the pet names. the moment you call her bug girl, she'll be crawling at your skin wanting you all to herself.
"careful bug girl.." you mumbled, as ellie's hands met the waistband of your sweats. her eyebrows raised at the pet name turning her on even more than the hot wet spot building in her boxers.
"what did you just call me?" she'd smirk, dipping her hands quicker down past your underwear. "bug girl." you replied, gasping when ellie's fingers found your core. "say that again." little did you know you'd be moaning the nickname the rest of the night.
spider-woman!ellie who would forever do anything that makes you happy and do whatever you want.
sigh. we all need a spider-woman!ellie.
